Just your typical go to place for a pint or two. The servers were actually nice and food was ok tastes even better aftet a drink! But overall experience is good, will definitely comeback to this store!
This is our favourite place to booze in cubao ✔️ Aside from it's very accessible, it has a 2nd floor where you can really relax away from the diners 😉
Blue Frozen Margarita is a must try and their Nachos Overload 😍😍😍
PLACE : 5/10 just fine.. hindi sya cozy, d rin ganun kaganda yung ambience but its just fine if gusto nyu lang mag dinner.
FOOD: 9/10 Superb. The taste is really great lalo na yung pakbet nila, pork and bangus sisig.
Thank You Dencio's i had fun last night.
We estimated that our overall charge would be around 2.5k for all 8 of us, but we weren't able to help ourselves and had extra rice orders, extra drinks and desserts. Add to that two more family members came in midway and was able to help themselves with our existing orders, hiking the charge to 3.5k something total.
Customer service adds flavor to the already great serving of our orders and this did not disappoint. It was a family gathering for us and we left with our pockets a little lighter but our bellies full, and palate satisfied.
Cheers!
P.S. I wouldn't shy a star away if my wife didn't find it an offense in her part na dineliver samin yung bill and when we had it paid eh parang inaannounce sa buong family yung cost and yung binayad namin sa mismong table namin. While I don't really mind it that much.... a little misunderstanding perhaps, but decided to leave it here, as Im not sure if normal or not.
A homage to traditional, feel-good, comforting Filipino food, Dencio's is not only an amazing tambayan for your barkadas or colleagues, it is also a mouthwatering spot for you and your loved ones to chow down to and have a good time. In my experience, here were some of my favorites:
DENCIO'S HOUSE FAVORITES
Krispy Embutidong Hipon
-this dish reminds me of a shrimp okoy, with a 360 degree makeover! It has a crispy exterior and a tender center, this dish is enjoyable with rice, or honestly, by itself!
Bulalo
-very comforting broth and can be suitable for a group of 3-4 people
Krispy Sisig
-I recommend you mixing it in with your preferred seasoning or hot sauce(or fresh chilis) and a bucket of beer. Cheers!
Krispy Pata
-another perfect pairing with beer, their Krispy Pata is seasoned well, and is crisp on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside
Sari-Saring Sinugba
-a plateful of Dencio'sgrilled eats. Tuna Belly, Chicken, Pork Liempo
DESSERT
Turon de Sorbetes
-small, bitesize pieces of turon served with vanilla ice cream on the side
Buko Pandan
Halo-Halo with Ice Cream
Mais Con Quezo
Jayvee Lapina Ardona

Drop by and discover the top quality dishes of @denciosph situated near KIA Theatre, Cubao, Quezon City.
Here are my top favorites:
I love their Sisig, it’s my all time favorite in Dencios. It’s crunchy, and it’s better to partner with beer or any alcoholic drinks. You can also try their Pansit, it’s a chinese style dish. It’s superb and yummy! Of course, you must not miss their Bulalo, for me, this is their specialty. You must eat and slurp the soup when it’s still hot. To add more colour to your day, you can also try their small but delish Turon with Langka.
Make sure to end your day with their Buko Pandan, Mais Con Quezo and Halo Halo with Ice cream. Very appetizing.
Excellent service, very welcoming staffs and they’re all attentive. The place has a great Filipino homestyle interior designs, so awesome! See you there! 🙌🏻
PS:
Btw, For birthdays, parties or any gatherings, you can book their 2nd floor. It can accommodate 60-70 persons. For more details, pls check dencios KIA THEATRE Branch.
Dencio’s has been in the game for so long. I can’t even remember how many times I’ve eaten here with the family. This is my first time in their Kia Theater, Cubao branch though and I noticed that their interiors were better and inviting. It’s cozy and comfortable that you would want to stay here longer. It really is a restaurant for families and big groups since their servings can accommodate 3 people and more. The sisig is a staple whenever I go to Filipino restaurants. Dencio’s Krispy Sisig has its own charm. With the right amount of crispiness and flavor, I think they’ve already perfected their take on it. Their bulalo has big chunks of meat that is perfect for me because I’m not really fond of the bone marrow and the tendons. I just hoped that the meat will be a little more tender the next time. The dinakdakan is a little too spicy for me but will definitely satisfy those who love spicy food. My favorites from the food that were served are the Pancit Dencio’s, Krispy Embutido Hipon, and Mais Con Quezo. I could live with just these 3. Pancit Dencio’s is perfectly cooked and seasoned with the medley of all the “sahog”. Krispy Embutido Hipon is new and different and like it. I’m, typically, not fond of embutido but this one is an exception. Maybe because of its crispy exterior and it’s not sweet. The fact that it’s made of shrimp helped as well. The Mais con Quezo is my weakness. Corn and cheese? Really? The mild saltiness of the cheese went perfectly with the sweet corn and milk. I will definitely order this every time I step inside a Dencio’s restaurant.
In conclusion, Dencio’s is still Dencio’s. It’s still one of the go-to restaurants of families who want classic Filipino dishes and a little more. Their newer dishes are definitely must-try’s as well.
Reading up about Dencio’s history was fascinating . After all, this iconic restaurant had been and continues to thrive in the Pinoy culinary dog-eat-dog landscape for more than two decades and still going strong.
Last Monday on an invite from Zomato, I hied off to Kia Theater in Cubao and met up with other foodie friends for a sumptuous lunch.
House Favorites:
PANSIT DENCIO’S This is my “waterloo”. I can forego rice just like that, no sweat. But serve me pansit and my resolve to control the portions that I eat goes out the window. Love love noodles! Praise God for our Chinese ancestors. The aroma of Dencio’s pansit was unbelievable. It draws you in. After the first bite , I was lost. The diet goes downhill from there. I must have consumed the equivalent of two cups when I was in the what I call the “pansit zone” huhuhu
BULALO P599- the broth was outstanding. It was so good I can slurp away the whole day. The beef needs a few more hours to be fork tender. It was so tough ie matigas . Pechay was green and still crunchy. Love it!
KARE KARE P455 -Surprisingly, the meat here was fork tender. Now why cant Dencio’s do these in their bulalo , I wonder. Oxtail was melt in your mouth too. The only fly in the ointment was the broth. The color was right but it was a tiny bit on the watery side
KRISPY EMBUTIDO HIPON P250 - This was something new for me plus the dish looked crunchy and inviting. It was good. The piggery will love this. A far cry from the lumpiang shanghai we know but sort of reminiscent of that dish.I will order this again
SISIG P219- It was good. Nothing to jump up and down about. It was your classic sisig.
SARI SARING SINUGBA P669- I love anything grilled so this was one of my favorites. The liempo, chicken, tuna belly were delicious. The squid was a bit tough but tasty. More rice please
CALAMARES P209 Small, crunchy, good.
Pagkaing Lokal
DINAKDAKAN P185 - made of inihaw (grilled) pork mask and liver. So good and spicy! Extra rice pls!
PAPAITAN P225 - Pinoy comfort food that is composed of pig’s innard. Rich , flavorful eith a hint of spice and bitterness
Verdict:
Food was generally good. Service was attentive. Price was fair. Yes this is a good alternative to Gerry’s
P.S.
Second Floor is open for private events. It can accommodate 60-70 people at a given time. Pls contact Dencio’s for more details
Dencio’s at cubao
I liked their new design for their restaurant which has a feeling of an old rustic filipino tambayan (chill out place) its a nice design when you serve filipino cuisine.
What i liked about or food is still the sisig, its still crunchy and tasty, and their new crispy shrimp embutido oh my, its new to my mouth also a plus with the crunchy i really like crunchy foods, what i didn’t liked is the kare-kare, i didn’t even taste that peanut flavor for the sauce, please please add more flavor to it.
It's been a while since I ate at Dencio's, any branch for that matter. We got to taste their house favorites.
Bulalo (Php 599) the meat was tough but the soup was nice
Calamares (Php 209) crispy calamares perfect with beer
Krispy Sisig (Special with egg-Php235/ Php 365) another perfect dish with beer!
Sari-saring sinugba (Php 669) highly recommended for 3-4 people.
DESSERTS:
I enjoyed their desserts most especially their Buko Pandan.
Buko Pandan (Php 105)
Halo-halo with ice Cream (Php 115)
Mais Con Quezo (Php 105)
They offer a function room on the 2nd floor that can cater to 60-70 guests. This December you can avail their room for a minimum of Php 10,000 which is good for 10-20 pax already. Then if you spend Php 15,000, you'll get Php 1,000 GC. This promo is for this branch only.
Congrats Dencio's KIA THEATER, happy 1st anniversary.
Since the 90's Dencio's has been a staple Filipino restaurant to most Filipino families. As they celebrate their 26th year, we revisit their classic dishes that made them the go-to restaurant for sisig and beer.
Appetizers:
Calamares - Crispy and tender with a side of tartar sauce perfect for pulutan.
Crispy Embotido with Shrimp- perfectly crispy on the outside but moist and full of flavor inside, eat this with their sweet and sour sauce
Main Courses:
Bulalo- A good mix of meat and utak with a decent broth
Crispy Sisig - Been going here for this sisig since I was in highschool. Still delicious with a squeeze of calamansi a bit of knorr and hot sauce. Best partnered with beer
Sinugba - The chicken, liempo, squid, and tuna are marinated in a soy calamansi sugar sauce. It's tasty and sweet.
Kare Kare - Beef and tripe that are stewed in a peanut sauce.
Dessert: I highly suggest having all three. They revamped their desserts to be even better and adding new elements to each dish.
Halo Halo - classic
Maiz con yelo - I love how they added cereal for an added crunch
Buko Pandan - Creamy taste with pearls
There's a reason why Dencio's has been a staple restaurant for more than two decades and still thriving. With innovation to their menu, they keep us excited of how they can elevate their classic dishes.
Thank you to Dencio's and to Zomato PH.
Super sarap ng food . Try thier new products .the pagkaing local . Papaitan and dinakdakan .pwede pang pulutan at the same time pang ulam ..
Super Good ang ambiance , and excellent ang food at service . Your value of money is super worth it . And dont forget to try thier house favourite specially Krispy sisig. And also checked thier promo .the beat talaga 😀
Dennis Nakpil and Dennis Mariano Jr. thought of creating a restaurant that emphasizes certain Philippine traditions. Their principle was "bringing the BARRIO into the metropolis." Thus, they opened one in Quezon City in 1991. They named it Dencio's. Dencio is a Philippine variant of Dennis, the name of the two founders.
been there twice this august. All food i ordered passed my palette. Bangus Sisig , to my surprise was really crunchy and taste really good, same with Beef tapa, nachos and Tortang talong (all time favorite). Ambiance and resto layout is perfect for anyone who would dine in any time of the day. Good serving size for the price. However, servers a bit slow sometimes. During lean hours, we could hardly find available in the area.
Good food. Great service. It was my first time yesterday to this branch together with my kids and it was a pleasant experience. Grilled liempo was amazingly delicious. My kids enjoyed their Dencios fried chicken. Beer was served below zero. Will definitely come back! 👍🏻👍🏻
Dencio's has been my "go-to" place if I want to eat sisig (one of the best I must say). Luckily I was invited again by Zomato for a Foodie Meet Up (thanks Zomato 😊) at Dencio's located at Kia Theater which was very near my workplace so I said yes and got my tummy filled with the best of what they can offer.
Here's the "House Favorites" served to us:
🍴Dencio's Krispy Sisig - I can still remember the sisig way back which was sizzling under the oil. I like the new sisig which has more meat than oil! the taste remained the same but way better now. The crispyness of the meat is still there and will always be my favorite sisig!
🍴Hot & Spicy Tofulutan - the tofu remained crispy and flavorful despite being exposed for a long time. The spicyness of the dish was good!
🍴Calamares - too sad I wasn't able to taste the calamares! but it looked good, best paired with a beer on a rainy afternoon.
🍴Bulalo - all that was left for me was the soup, the serving was big and I saw a bone marrow swimming in hot water.
🍴Kare Kare - The beef was tender and the veggies were all yummy and crunchy! The best talaga ang puso ng Kare Kare! I wish they put more taste to the sauce. Konting lasa pa!
🍴Tortang Talong with Crabmeat - Flavorful even without a dip. I'm not a fan of eating crabmeat but this one is an exemption! I like the combination of the talong and crabmeat and cooked to its perfection.
🍴Sari Saring Sinugba - was the 1st to be emptied. Got a piece of squid but when I ate it I felt it was not cooked well. The liempo looked yummy from afar (place in another foodie's plate)
🍴Pinaputok na Pansit - Once you taste it, you can't figure out what it taste like. Pansit with Gata? YES! It's tasty. Masarap kung mas malutong ang pansit!
🍴 Sizzling Bistek Tagalog - aaaaay! Napaka-sarap! this dish is my #1 pick! The beef was tender and the sauce was not just plain soy sauce. Let's keep the special sauce a secret.
🍴Mango Chili - sweet at first sip then wait for the kick of chilis! Not a big fan of chili in drinks but this one was really really good!
The experience was something new since the ambiance was very different, the new Dencio's was revamped to accommodate not just the older generations but aso the millenials who's looking for comfort food. The place very big and very spacious and well ventilated. The staff moved very fast and very accommodating! The food upgrades was also a plus factor that they make sure to offer something new to the customers!
Dencios is a restaurant institution for the longest time, serving a wide variety of Filipino food for the masses. And now under a new restaurant group, they are focused on renovating it to be more of a resto bar that would cater the modern tastes, as well as most of the millenials. In line with this, they made some changes with some of the items in the menu and I am sure interested to try it out. Here are some of the items that I would highly recommend:
Crispy Embutido Hipon - This was one of the items that I wasn't really expecting to hit but just gave me a home runner. The texture of the molo strips and the shrimp filling just gave a different approach to my pallete. A definite must-try.
Pinaputok na Pancit - Now this is something that will catch your attention. It's basically Guisadong Pancit with Coconut milk, finished off binalot-style. Tastes good as well!
Dencio's Krispy Sisig - An old school item in the menu, still pleasing the masses up until now. Great with beer if I may add.
Bistek Tagalog - Well-seasoned dish that is something that you should consider ordering with rice. A great meal is insured with this.
Mango Chili - The mango shake with a hidden kick. Not for the non-spice afficionados as this gives you a hint of spice after drinking.
I like what they did with the interiors as it became spaceous and cozy for diners. They also had large monitors inside for sporting events. I just hope they can open earlier so that I could watch the NBA Finals at their place. But all in all, I'm looking forward towards Dencio's further evolution as I'm definitely going back for my beer buckets and sisig. 😊
Dencio before has a lot of designs included with their interior. Now that they have renovations making it more modernized, it is more neat and spacious to look at.
Now for the food. Their menu 'House Favorites' has few of my favorites that I would like to recommend to all of you.😁
😍😆😄😅😃🙂😐😑
KARE KARE was good and a lot of vegetables in it. But ive tasted other karekare with richer flavor than this.🙂
SIZZLING BISTEK TAGALOG was great! The meat was tender and the flavors are well balanced.😆
EMBUTIDO is different to what I usually see and eat. The prawn inside of it will surprise you as you bite it! And the fried molo strips covering it giving it a good crunch is just perfect. The sauce also compliments this food well.😍
PINAPUTOK NA PANCIT has a presentation I've never seen before in other pancits I have eaten. And its taste is unique knowing that it is not that salty and the noodle combination gives you different textures in your mouth.😄
DENCIOS CRISPY SISIG is your usual sisig paired with beers that you will surely enjoy.😃
MANGO CHILI was very surprising! The taste of sour mangoes that slowly changes into a spicy sensation in your mouth makes you confused what to feel. But surely for me its refreshing and a bit addicting even its super spicy at the end.😅
Great experience eating here knowing that they have live bands here sometimes. Good place to chill with your friends and also will try to comeback here to try other foods. Dencios did a good job in turning their old setup into something more inviting to different age brackets. And they also have function rooms upstairs for events so check them out or contact for more details! 😁
As I entered Dencio's, I noticed that its look revatilized and revamped - giving a family-friendly vibe for different occassions. It's a bar-grill resto where you can chill and relax after a long day at work, catch up with your friends, spend quality time with your family while satisfying your cravings of Filipino food and listening to some artists/bands perform live.

✨Kare-Kare - tendered beef and ox tripe in rich and flavorful peanut sauce cooked w veggies and served w their special bagoong.
It was my 2nd time to dine at Dencio's and the first time I visit their restaurant was in Harbour Square branch and I can see that the cubao branch has different interiors it was new, innovated and modernize that could be also appealing to the millenials like me and good thing about their branch is that it can be rented for parties and they also have acoustic sessions every Fridays and Saturdays contact the resto for further info. So here are the house favorites of dencio's that we've tried:
Dencio's Krispy Sisig 5 ⛤ - It was indeed crispy and seasoned well. I actually like more of their sisig version than the other restaurants 'cause its not that saucy or wet that it actually withstand the crispiness of the crispy pork even if u dine for hours.
Hot and Spicy Tofulutan 4 ⛤ - Perfect combination with beers because of the hot and sour kick in it. Though I would like it more if the tofu wasn't soggy yet crispy.
Calamares 5 ⛤ - It was deep fried to perfection. Good thing it doesn't lacked on seasonings 'cause other version of it they would rely the flavour on the sauce which I think the calamares itself should be delicious enough even without a sauce. Though it would be perfect with sauce 😂
Bulalo 4.5 ⛤ - Didn't get a meat but I could say how flavorful the meat was because of the flavourful soup of it you could really taste the tender beef shank with other veggies especially the sweetness of the corn.
Kare-kare 5 ⛤ - It was cooked in a way I always want it to be. It reminds me of my mother's home cooked kare kare. The beef was tender and I super love the sauce it was flavorful and rich in peanuts that made the whole dish standout especially with the crunchy veggies that was cooked right. Best paired with their bagoong. Yummy!!
Tortang Talong with Crabmeat 4.5 ⛤ - It's not your typical tortang talong that's plain and bland. Dencio's made it in a special way which they add a little bit of seafood kick in it by adding some crabs which made the dish delicious 'cause they also seasoned it right and crispy fried to perfection.
Sari-saring Sinugba 5 ⛤ - A lot of grilled favorites in a plate with tuna belly, liempo, squid and boneless chicken fillet which would be perfect for pulutan. You could really taste that it was marinated or grilled with a special sauce, all of the meat was flavorful and tender.
Pinaputok na Pancit 3.5 ⛤ - Personally not a fan of this dish maybe because I'm used to eat pancit bihon or canton that has a lot of ingredients in it like meat and veggies that would give a lot of flavour though the presentation was appealing I just didn't like the flavor I find it bland and oily wish they could add more flavor and ingredients in it.
Sizzling Bistek Tagalog 5 ⛤ - The beef slices was tender and I super like the sauce It has a right amount of soy sauce which didn't made the dish salty and I could taste the calamnsi flavor in it that add a bit kick of sour.
Mango Chili 3.5 ⛤ - I didn't expect that this drink would be super spicy haha. Like I sipped a wee amount of it and I could feel that my tounge couldn't tolerate the spice of it haha though I like the innovation in this drink perfect for people who loves spicy food.
Overall, I like how Dencio's conceptualized a new modernized ambiance which could actually penetrate a large market and hopefully they could do the revamp to other branches as well. Their food is good as always they eventually innovate some of the classic filipino dishes like their embutido which you should definitely try. I would absolutely come back at Dencio's and bring my family and friends. Hope to experience a warm welcome and great service again soon. 😉
I am not certain if I've been to Dencio's before (if so, that was very long time ago! LOL) but I am quite sure that it's not my last visit.
Had the pleasure of trying some of Dencio's House Favorites such as the
- Dencio's Krispy Sisig
- Hot and Spicy Tofulutan
- Calamare
- Bulalo
- Kare Kare
- Tortang Talong w/ Crabmeat
- Sari-saring Sinugba
- Pinaputol na Pancit
- Sizzlig Bistek Tagalog
- Crispy Embotido Hipon
- Mango Chili
- Turon de Sorbetes
We were all surprised by Dencio's Cubao because it was entirely different compare to the other branches of Dencio's I have seen before. I could tell that the interior had a complete revamp by just seeing the tables and chairs and even the ceiling. Dencio's (Cubao), as we know it, isn't just your typical hang out bar where you can have drinks and pulutan but, they can also be your local sports bar, resto bar, etc. They have completely turned everything upside down. What I also love about the 'new' Dencio's is their new menu and the variety of our Filipino favorites! Based from what we have tried, I can vouch that pretty much everything were really good! Shout out to their Crispy Embotido Hipon, Tortang Talong w/ Crabmeat, Pinaputok na Pancit and Sizzling Bistek Tagalog. Those are just some of my top picks because I didn' just had my seconds, but probably went back for it more than you can think of. LOL.
Dencio's, just so you know, also serve for parties and functions. That includes 2 hours use of venue and free use of their sound system. You may contact them for inquiries! ✌🏼
The revamp in Dencio's image as it became part of the Max's group last year can be seen on its changed interior having a nicer ambiance and feel of a barkada hangout. It is located in Kia theater almost in front of Isetann. Tried their new menu and new take on the past Dencio's favorites.
My top picks are:
1. Bistek Tagalog - This Filipino favorite cuisine is a salty and sour combination from soy sauce and calamansi marinade. They used bacon strips as protein with garnish of white onion rings on top. This is best served with plain hot rice. Yummy!
2. Embutido - Their embutido is different. Instead of having hotdog it has tiger prawn. In my opinion, it is a fusion of crispy camaron rebosado and embutido. The tiger prawn is wrapped with the embutido mixture and wrapped again with strips of molo wrapper. It is interesting and a must try.
3. Pinaputok na pancit - as a bicolano I love the twist on this Filipino noodles favorite. Pancit Canton and Sotanghon noodles are used in this dish with a hint of gata (coconut milk). Not salty unlike the usual pancit.
4. Mango Chili - This is my favorite concoction of mango and chili. This is only for people who loves the fruity sour flavor of green mango and the chili after taste (or burn).
5. Turon de Sorbetes - the dessert is a simple combination of turon and vanilla ice cream. Its simplicity is a great way to end a meal.
Will definitely go back and eat a lot again.
Dencio’s is one of the more casual filipino dining/drinking spots in the city. aving been acquired by Max’s Group recently, we were invited to try out their best selling dishes as well as experienced their remodeled concept restaurant in the Kia Theater at Araneta Centre. The dominant elements in their new interiors are exposed wood and metallics which is a common theme among newer casual dining restaurants. Their managers explained that they wanted to open up the space so that diners are enticed to interact with fellow diners in other table like a “exclusive club house”. Gone are the days of divider booths, and welcome open spaces for entertaining and open interaction. Although the design isn’t entirely original, it is perfectly in sync with the type of cuisine that which are filipino classic dishes with no hint of pretension. Here’s the rundown of their House Favorites:
‣‣Sari-Saring Sinugba: A huge platter of grilled meats including Liempo, Boneless Chicken,Tuna Belly, and Squid which is perfect for those with big appetites. The liempo was juicy and you could really taste the sweet marinade which penetrated deep into the meat. The chicken barbecue was also delicious, a little bit sweeter that the liempo, the pale pink grilled meat was a little chewy but wasn’t particularly a problem because of dark sticky sauce which covered the meat.. The grilled squid was a little bit chewy and flavorless though.
‣Hot and Spicy TofuLutan: Deep fried tofu sauteed with chilli peppers. I think that this was an alright dish, yet lacks the decadence of their parent company’s similar tofu dish. The uber sour and spicy signature vinegar added the necessary kick to this dish.
‣Calamares: Deep fried bits of squid with a side of their calamari dip. Not particularly impressed with this dish because it was on the chewy side and the batter lacked flavor. The dip added flavor but it was just alright.
‣‣Bulalo: One of their best sellers, i’ve had this before and it has always been consistently good. I had the pleasure of getting the bone marrow which was like pure beef flavor in butter form . The broth was meaty and had just the right amount of seasoning while the meat was soo tender that it almost dissolved into the broth!
‣‣Kare-Kare: I already knew that this was a knockout just by looking at this bowl, bright orange with a thin layer of deep orange anatto oil, beef, and greens and sprinkled with peanuts. Kare-Kare is probably one of the most beautiful filipino dishes and this one was a delicious as it looked. The peanut gravy was nice and sweet but it also had savory flavor which made it good even without adding bagoong. The sauce was so rich that the flavors coater you mouth while meat was tender to the point that it fell apart and the vegetables were crisp and fresh.
‣‣‣Tortang Talong with Crabmeat: Deceptively simple yet delicious dish, i’ve always found tortang talong boring just because eggplant tends to be one of the more bland vegetables. However, this dish used the texture of the eggplant to its advantage by adding crab meat into the egg batter it was drenched in. The result was a soft and oh so delicious medley of soft eggplant and flavorful crabmeat which added a great seafood flavor to an otherwise boring dish. The great balance of flavors, soft textures, and simple concept are the reasons why this is my favorite dish out in the entire table.
‣Pinaputok na Pancit: Regular pancit is quite plain so Dencio’s decided to make it more decadent by cooking it in richer ingredients and serving it in a sizzling platter. Some say that it almost tasted like pancit cooked in Charon lard. A great bar dish but a little too over indulgent for my tastes.
‣‣Sizzling bistek Tagalog: This dish is like the child of tapa and sisig. The beef strips were cooked to the point where they were like bacon! Although it's a little salty on its own, i like the concentrated flavor of bistek tagalog and you can simply dilute the saltiness by eating it with rice.
‣‣‣Dencio’s Crispy Sisig: Their signature dish sure didn’t disappoint! Dencio’s Sisig is cooked on the spot in a sizzling hot plate, their sisig was crispy and flavorful yet it wasn’t too oily unlike the last sisig i had in another Dencio’s restaurant a few weeks ago (which was also good). Their sisig is almost like having meaty chicharon for pulutan or just with rice!
Beverages:
‣Buko Lychee Shake: A blend of fresh lychees and coconut, this beverage was delicious yet it lacked crea.iness which would elevate the flavors of the two fruits.
‣‣Dencio’s Iced Tea: A great blend of black tea and lemon flav, their ice tea is refreshing and not overly sweet!
‣‣‣Mango Chilli: Another hate-it-or-love-it item, personally i love this drink! Who knew that mangos and hot chillis actually blend well together? The flavor of sour/sweet just-about-to-be-ripe mango was accentuated by the fruity heat of the chillies while the cold beverage and extremely hot aftertaste was an interesting experience that can wake up your appetite. This beverage is honestly the definition of a mocktail because of the rush that the spice gives is almost like the heat of strong alcohol without the buzz.
Overall: Dencio’s at Araneta Cubao was not a different experience from the old Dencio’s but an upgraded and modernized take on hearty filipino food and bar chow. The space is perfect for socializing and catching up with friends as well as meeting new people. The service was great and everyone was friendly and attentive. They also have wifi which is great. I hope that other Dencio’s restaurants will be revitalized just like this real soon!
It's a rainy and sunny noontime when we've visited Dencio's Bar and Grill - Cubao branch to try the house favorites of the restaurant. Dencio's is a well known restaurant in the country serving various kinds of Filipino dishes. The new Dencio's in Araneta Center is located at the Kia Theatre. The interior of place is more hip than the previous one in Araneta Coliseum. And it's more spacious.

All the dishes we had were truly delicious but I still go for the traditional Pinoy cuisine like:
🐽Pork Sisig
"My all-time favorite in Dencio's"
🐽Kare-kare
"I like the bland taste of the peanut sauce it really compliments with sauteed bagoong"
🐽Bulalo
"The meat was so tender and I like the flavor of the soup... it's beef na beef. Masarap!"
The staff of Dencio's Bar and Grill were accommodating and provided good service during our lunch. Keep it up! 😉

Dencio's started way back in 1991, and we've come to know and love them for their laidback and chill vibes. But it was in 2013 when they were acquired by Max's group that they did an overhaul on their look and feel. You'd notice the revamped and the more casual setting.
This branch of Dencio's in Kia Theatre is fairly new, the place is spacious and they have impeccable service! Their servers are well-trained and well-informed on their menu items. They serve your food with a smile and always ready to accomodate you.
Dencio's have been my go-to place for my ever favorite sisig! I'm telling you, Dencio's will ALWAYS have the best sisig IMHO!
I was fortunate enough to have been invited on a #ZomatoFMU here in Dencio's, we were served the following:
★ Hot and Spicy Tofulutan
Deep fried golden brown tofu, ginisa sa siling labuyo and red bell pepper with Dencio's house vinegar. This one will always be a house favorite, especially during those inuman sessions.
★ Calamares
Squid rings marinated and breaded, then deep fried to golden perfection. Each serving comes with a special calamares dip. Fell inlove with each bite of this calamares, it's crispy on the outside and oh-so-chewy squid on the inside. The special dip made it all the more better!
★ Bulalo
Tender beef shank soup with different vegetables. This is BULALO man, 'nuff said.
★ Kare-Kare
Tendered beef and ox tripe in rich and flavorful peanut sauce, cooked with sitaw, puso ng saging and native pechay. Dencio's special bagoong best complements this popular Pinoy dish.
★ Tortang Talong with Crabmeat
Grilled eggplant stuffed with crabmeat sauteed in garlic and onions, coated with battered egg and pan-fried until golden brown. I may be a little biased here because tortang talong will always have a special place in my heart (and in my tummy!), lol. But adding crabmeat to the mix?! Man, I'm sold! It's a unique twist that I definitely enjoyed.
★ Sari-Saring Sinugba
Platter of your favorite inihaw in one plate. Tuna belly, liempo, squid, boneless chicken BBQ fillet.
★ Pinaputok na Pansit
Canton and sotanghon noodles wrapped in banana leaf and served on a sizzling plate. This is uniquely Dencio's due to a secret ingredient! (gata or coconut milk.)
★ Sizzling Bistek Tagalog
Crisp tender beef slices with onion rings and special sauce on a sizzling plate.
★ Mango Chili
Green mango shake with siling labuyo. This one isn't for the faint of heart. Not for you if you don't enjoy maanghang food, like me. But I had a sip of it and it was quite refreshing, I loved the tangy flavor of the green mango, but then the siling labuyo, gumuguhit sa lalamunan!
★ Turon de Sorbetes
Vanilla ice cream with turon. This classic Pinoy dessert is the perfect way to end a very satisfying meal.
And last but not the least...
★ Dencio's Krispy Sisig
Okay, so I guess I don't need to write down all the good qualities of this all-time Pinoy fave dish. It's everyone's favorite! It's perfect for inuman sessions, or if you just want a good 'ole hearty meal with rice, this Krisy Sisig is your man!
Oh and btw, this branch in Kia Theatre features live bands at night, not sure about the schedule though. All in all, I love the new revamped look of Dencio's, it's millenial. I will be back! Krispy Sisig wait for me! :)

The food is really great. The revamp look of Dencio's is very millenial. I should try and visit them in night so I can eat while there are performing bands.
Had few drinks here with a friend during weekdays before they close the store. Even if they're already cleaning up and looks kinda tired still they managed to serve our food and drinks with a smile. Good job for all the staffs! 🙂🍴🍺🥘
Went there last week with my family, excellent Filipino food.Love the crispy sisig and the pusit a la pobre. Service was on point. Really good place to spend quality time with your family and friends. I highly recommend it:)
Very good variety of menu. Food us so good especially the sisig, chicken bbq, sizzling squid, frued tofu, sinigang na tiyan na bangus, cruspy pata. Service is good. Ambiance is very cool'
Ambiance is better than other Dencio's outlets. Great place to hangout after office or have a round of beer with friends. Prices are reasonable and the food is good. Crispy Sisig and their Mango Chili cocktail are must tries!
Really good value for your money. Quality and delicious food paired live music and good service. I always order their sisig, sinigang, and gambas and i could finish it all by myself! also try their new grilled chicken - it's one of the best i've tried.
Ordered their signature Krispy Sisig on my visit and was not disappointed by it. It was crispy and tasty because of its pork utak sauce. They also have this showmanship of mixing the sisig in a very hot sizzling plate right in front of you instead of just leaving it on the table. Their fried chicken with Tinola twist was also nice. Will definitely be back to try other items.
Good food, good service and great ambiance. I love the pinaputok na pancit and the chicken bbq with the ice cold beer. Will definitely be back.
My dining experience was great. The service was excellent. The best buko pandan I ever had!!! The staff was very friendly and has a good customer service.
We really appreciate Yung pag tanggap nila . Inasikaso kami talaga. Yung mga pagkain panalo! Just tell them what you want at Saila at responsive kaya alaga ka. Keep it up. Winner!
Loved their Sari saring sinugba as it is perfect for sharing. The serving came with chicken fillet, liempo, squid and tuna belly. Indeed satisfied my crave for grilled food for a very reasonable price.
Very good food and service is excellent. Servers are fun and makes you feel at home. The ambiance and food is very filipino oriented with a modernized atmosphere.
Best place to chill if you're in the Cubao/Araneta center area. Good food, service, with a new and updated look! It's also a nice place to catch the latest sporting events.
One of the newer locations of Dencio's and I must say, this location doesn't disappoint! I like how they have acoustic nights on some days of the week, gives off a different vibe compared to other locations. Also, their sisig is so good!! Best enjoyed with a cold beer. Mmmm! :)
A hidden treasure within the Araneta Center. Dencio's is the perfect place to chill if you want to enjoy either an afternoon, evening, or late night drink and salo-salo with friends and family as they are open for as late as 2am. My siblings & I had so much fun during one of our visits which was during the PBA finals, although we missed out on tickets to the game, we were still able to watch through their live TV coverage in the bar. The staff were very attentive despite the restaurant being full of cheering diners due to the intense live pba game at that time. Their signature dish, krispy sisig was also very good. We also ordered their chx bbq fillet, sari-saring sinugba, sinigang na tiyan ng bangus and kare-kare which was perfect for sharing as they are served in generous sizes. Also on that same visit, they had a live acoustic performance which started right after the game and only added to an even better vibe to the already fun evening we were having. Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit and we'll definitely come back.
Great food, ambience and service for an affordable price. Best to come with a group. They also have acoustic performances at some nights. Personal favorites from here are the krispy sisig, chicken bbq fillet, liempo and tinapa brown rice.

The service was good. The waiters/waitresses smiled, were polite and courteous; they were attentive and the wait time for the food was just right.
It was an okay place to go to. But the food isn't something we'd wanna have again soon because nothing really stood out. There wasn't a wow factor so, too bad.
