Good food taste for the price. i enjoyed eating here. Sausage is yummy and flavorfull. ill try their other dishes next time.
We ordered the big breakfast set and it didn't disappoint. Sausage patty was a revelation. Hash brown was really tasty.
Cookie shot was a bit sweet for my liking. It would be better if the milk was served cold to complement the texture of the pastry. Nonetheless, we had a great time here. 😊
AMBIANCE
- Relaxing
- Cute wooden interior
- Has swing chairs!!
SPICY SALMON PASTA
- Php. 165.00
- Good serving size for its price
- Not terribly spicy; just a Hint of Spice
- I wish the salmon was served in one piece rather than sliced
- I also think there could be a better salmon to pasta ratio by adding more salmon
Their all day breakfast meal menu is the reason why I visit this cafe often. They serve quite big portions of breakfast plus free Americano if you dine from 7 am to 11 am!
The place is quite small tho especially in the first floor so expect the cafe to be full or cramped by the afternoon ‘til evening. As for me, I love to dine early in the morning to enjoy the free coffee plus the space.
Went straight to this place for breakfast after jog in UP, thankful that this place is already open. Ambience was perfect.
We ordered tapa and corned beef. Tapa was bit chewy, i preder the corned beef more.
For dessert, we ordered cookie bowl, cookie was moist and complimented the ice cream really well.
Crew: Polite and accommodating
Food: they have these cute milk cookie shots and i enjoyed it. I love their
Price: affordsssss very reasonable for students
Place/ambiance: very cute and clean.
Experience: the experience is fine
Something special: Plating!!!!
Overall stay: its fine. I enjoyed it
i was looking for a place where i can study and at the same time feel comfortable and chill, then i discovered this place. If you're looking for a cozy place with wifi and quiet ambiance, this is the perfect spot 🤩 + the staff are very nice, food are affordable, different and worth the price! Will recommend the pork chop + caramel frappe! For the win!
Great go-to place for a quick brunch, coffee, or something sweet. Their cakes are really good! Don't order the nachos though - it's as bad as it looks (see pic for reference).
Theo’s is one of the first breakfast places here in Maginhawa. I’ve been spending mornings here since they opened, and they have never disappointed me. I’ve tried everything on the breakfast menu but my favorite would have to be their homemade corned beef. They don’t serve the canned ones like other restaurants, you know they really make their own. Their servings are filling, and it comes with a free serving of their coffee. I also like how they set up the place, every corner is very instagrammable! The restroom is just a quite small, but it’s really not a downside, considering that their food is sulit and the service is spot on.
I super love Theo’s! Affordable yet they serve quality food and drinks. They have aircon, fast wifi, outlets, pleasing staff, and a restroom too. Can’t ask for more.
NICE SERVICE, GREAT FOOD!
I would recommend this restaurant to
My friends, tropa out there.. In fairness the service was excellent and the prices were reasonable at the end of the day.
Been there twice . Yung mga staffs sobrang babait . They assist us . Esp. Ms. Shannen ? Ata yun . Always naka smile . Yung foods masarap po sya . Not too pricy . Affordable po . Ilove this place lalo na pag nag rerelax at umaatake addiction ko sa coffee . We will back here . 5star for me . Keep up the good work .
Their breakfast is delicious. although the place is really small, the ambience it gives is very relaxing and artistic. They offer breakfast meals too!

The ambience and theme are very comfy and cool! You can eat, study and work all at the same time here. Or if you need a place where you can eat and have a good talk with your friend/s, this is definitely one of the places you should go.
I love it here. I hope they get to expand their place kasi maliit lang siya. Ideal for 1-4 persons pero pag marami kayo, you will have hard time finding for seats since mostly pang dalawahan or isahan lang ang seats nila.
I've been here twice and there's a reason I came back... their muffins!!!!
First time I went here, I had their pesto pasta and it was really good for the price (which I must say is very student-friendly!!) but what I really like from this place are their muffins. I tried the cranberry, lemon and blueberry muffins that they sell and all were really really good! Moist on the inside with a really crusty top that tastes really good!!!! I love their muffins so much that i'm considering ordering an entire box (which they actually do sell) hahah.
Downside is the ambiance because first time I went, the waitress said the aircon in the second floor couldn't be turned on yet (I went at around 9 am) so it was really hot. Second time, I tried to study but couldn't because they had 2 radios turned on... playing different things.
Working on a weekend so I was on hunt for a good café with free wifi and sockets... Found this.
I was a little early so there were only two customers inside. No noise, no unnecessary distraction.
The place is instagrammable for guests who love to take pictures. It's just a little smaller than what I expected from online pictures, but I'm not bothered that much since I was alone. Over-all ambiance is good.
Wifi— free, stable, and fast. Sockets are available only in the tables near the counter. Sockets upstairs were removed.
I ordered Sirloin Tapa for breakfast. So-so. The food served looked like corned beef. While dine-in orders come with free coffee, hot or iced, it was too sweet for my taste.
Servers may be not be morning persons. They aren't welcoming and don't smile a lot. They bus tables out noisily. You better be proactive if you want to have a positive stay.
MAMA'S SPECIAL BEEF TENDERLOIN!!!!!! The only thing that is keeping me from giving a perfect review is the serving size. It's on the "mejo bitin" side of the spectrum. Definitely a place that we keep going back to! I always get 2 orders of the MAMA'S SPECIAL BEEF TENDERLOIN!!!!!
I used to review here for my exams and do papers. Their drinks are good and the wifi is fast. However, the temperature can be a bit warm. The place is a little crowded since it's just small. The interiors are really pretty, though. Overall, it's good.
Perfect after a long drive to Maginhawa while it's raining outside and you're all feeling senti. The interior is so instagrammable and the food is very much to our liking.
Totally cool place to study and their food taste delicious. This is one of my favorite places if I want to just rest and relax. Their drinks are not that expensive but worth the value. The staff is very friendly also. :)

Theo's is such a nice place to find peace and serenity. The place is not crowded. You can count their customers using your fingers. 😊 This is a perfect place for you if you want to have some peace and alone time. The ambiance is perfect for studying. When it comes to their food, they are cheaper than the others. The foods actually taste like its price so expect nothing special. Same with their coffees. Nothing special.
But tbh, I'll just go back to this place pag medyo kapos.
Saturday is the best day for us! Tried their waffle bacon and egg and breakfast steak.
Medyo na disappoint lang kami sa steak na ganon ung presentation pero masarap naman.
Another thing, sana ung crew nila they always wear a smile. Madali lang naman ngumiti :)
Overall. Masarap naman dito at sure na babalik ka para itry ung iba pang menu.
We visited in the morning. The food was great, everything was still hot and there was plenty of everthing. Our server was very friendly and took good care of us. Thankyou for the free juice and coffee also. Godblessed! 💕☕️🍞
I went here around 9 am and the place was not yet that crowded. I planned to stay and work here for the rest of the day because I saw that they offer WiFi Connections. But since a storm had just passed, their internet connection was not yet restored that time. So I just ate brunch and ordered their breakfast steak. It came with a complimentary coffee, but I had mine changed to their Dalandan juice. I was a bit disappointed though that the juice was just the same size as the coffee cup. So I had to save drinking it after eating the main course. 🙁
Their breakfast steak as they said was their best seller. And I would say, it didn't disappoint. The beef was tasteful and the eggs were made just right.
I haven't been back, but I would definitely want to go back and try the other food on their menu. 😊
I love the food!!! ☺️ Specially the Tokyo Cheese Cake! Ummm yummmmy!!!😍 very relaxing place , perfect for everyone who wants to chill or what. Approachable staffs. Perfect! Made my day! Thank you! 😍👍🏻💯
Mostly made for studying. Place was really small but we were able to make our group fit despite te limited space. They also offered very affordable lengua which was a plus for me. :)
edit: came back to the place and experience was way better than what I expected. Tenderloin beef was really good. Seafood pasta could use more toppings(since I just got 1 squid tentacles, 3 mussles and 2 kani bits) but the flavor of the oil used was already very good. :) will definitely come back for more since they are also open early enough for breakfast. :D
Theo serves breakfast, rice meals, pasta, sandwiches, desserts and coffee. It's small and quaint, with enough decorative features to make it interesting.
I always order their corned beef if I come in the morning. For this visit, I got their Philly steak sandwich. It was creamy and filled with enough meat ( though hard to see because of the sauce.
Service levels would need to improve tho. My sandwich took a bit of time to serve when there were less than 5 customers in the store. But I will be back for the corned beef.
I initially rated Theo's 4.5 having been there twice. The food, especially the Portersteak, is actually good considering its price. Good food + good service = 👍
Now, I changed my rating to 3.5
The food that comes out of their kitchen is quite consistent but I'm having issues with their service.
I come here for the high speed internet. The drinks are reasonably priced. The food is decent. Decors and overall ambience provide eye candy.
I love Theo's cookie mugs. They are very delightful and chocolatey while textured at the same time. Most chocolate confections are smooth, this one is def a cookie. I also have fond memories of their flavores fries. When they cook it, the aroma flows around the place, enticing you to order. Lol! However, here lies the problem, I feel that Theo's is now too cramped. They have a hammock in the entrance but it feels so weird to sit there when people come in droves..
The cookie shot with milk is unique that's why we tried it and Wander Kid liked the combination of milk and cookie with chocolate at the bottom of the cup.
Similarly, we tried Cookie Cup with Vanilla Ice cream on it. It may not be the perfect Vanilla Ice Cream but it was okay.
We love their brewed coffee.
Food experience is just okay. Ambiance is nice perfect for hanging out with friends or if you are just chilling.
Cookie shot is P65 while Cookie cup with Ice cream is P95.

Very simple place to relax. The place is a bit small but the staff is friendly and the coffee isn't bad. I tried their Roasted Almond Coffee. I'm quite happy with it, since it isn't too sweet. It could be improved with added almond flavor though. We tried their Nachos and I'm a bit disappointed because it was quite underwhelming in light of the picture they provided. Good but nothing special.

Awesome place to stay at! Ambiance is too good plus you see, the hanging chair from the first picture is just too cute. Coffee and pastries taste A+ as well. I recommend this place. You should try this one, guys. 👌🏻
Was looking for a new place to work --- and work for me entails a socket, good wifi, and good food. All these I found in Theo's 👍🏼
I ordered their breakfast steak and though a bit oily, it was tender and was seasoned perfectly. It came with a free iced americano which was bland, but hey! It came free! Next on the list was the smores cake and it was a perfect moist slice of cake. Stayed for around 3-4 hoirs and got the job done. Thanks to the ambiance as well! Definitely added this to my repertoire of coffee shops for study and work 👍🏼
*Just add more sockets in the 2nd floor dining area. Preferred to stay there but just had one working socket that was in use.
I only tried the seafood pasta and the flavored fries. Both were just okay but the fries were really crispy so it was nice munching on it while studying. The price is reasonable too. So I would want to go back and try some more of their products.
It is a nice study place (if you won't be with other customers that are too loud). The staff are also very nice and accomodating.
The ambiance is great but the cafe is too small. Finding a parking space is hard since it's maginhawa. Ordered Chicken Lollies, Baby Back Ribs, Beef Ossu Buco, Cookie Milk Shot and Cookie Bowl with Ice Cream. Their prices is budget/student friendly. The taste is just okay. The Cookie Milk Shot is soft but Cookie Bowl with Ice Cream is hard to bite. Overall will try again here for their tea/drinks.
Place: 3/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 4/5
Service: 3/5
I love their churros! 😋 I like it better without the ice cream. It's not too fried, which makes its inside still soft. Yummier than the one we usually have around Maginhawa.. 😊
I tried seafood pasta the last time, and it did not disappoint. The serving is just enough. Not too little, and not too many. The rice meals, as well. Sulit ung presyo, pero di mo malalasahan sa food kasi ng mosorop! 😂
Theo's is our new go-to place for catching up with friends, ang long meaningful conversations. The place just encourages these. 😊 It has a comfy and homey vibe, despite its size.
We usually follow our lunch or dinner with a hot coffee and some nice sweets. Luckily, we didn't need to go too far to have a caffeine fix after having a delicious dinner at Griddle. It's because Theo's Baked + Brewed was just right beside it. I think these two adjoining establishments used to be an apartment or a duplex or something similar.
Griddle's theme was an odd mixture of travel/aviation/shabby chic stuff. Theo's theme, on the other hand, was more consistent -- all about birds and bird-related stuff (like these cute little bird cages as table centerpieces). It used a lot of wood stuff and furniture for their decor, giving the cafe a more warm and rustic feel. I liked our table in particular -- I thought it was made of a recycled door or a wood paneling.
It could have been a "quiet coffee time" as the cafe was towards its closing hours (we were there at about 11 pm); however, a large family brought their kiddos along, and they were, you know, quite a distraction. Hehehe.
What we had:
🔹Churros in Ice Cream (₱95) - I've come to love churros more no matter the length, size or texture (most especially when I tried Churreria La Lola a few days back). This dessert combined my two loves -- churros and soft-served ice cream. The churros themselves were light and fluffy. Loved it!
🔹Cookie Shots (₱65) - While I'm not really a lactose-intolerant person, I otherwise dislike milk (except when it's flavored). So I let my sister to have a swig of the entire "milk shot" so that I could eat the cookie cup. As for the cookie cup itself -- when I had my first bite of it, I thought it kind of tasted old... but I guess it was just my palate, or maybe it was flavored like that. Perhaps I'll give it another "shot" (pardon the pun) next time. Hehehe.
🔹Cafe Latte, hot (₱75) - It had adequate strength and bitterness. Since we were having sweets already, I didn't bother to add sugar in my coffee.
🔹Mint Chocolate, hot (₱75) - My sister said she didn't taste any strong hints of mint, but it was otherwise good daw.
The cafe had a Wi-Fi, but sometimes it would go off so we sometime had to use our phone's data connection.
I was surprised that Theo's is not just a "light-snacks" cafe, for it also offers substantial meals like one of their most recommended ones, the Oven-Baked Baby Back Ribs. It looks good, so I might try that too upon my possible return soon for another Maginhawa foodtrip. :)
I have been here several times. They serve satisfying breakfast dishes with for an affordable price. Waffle with bacon and eggs is my favorite. Another must-try is their desserts. They make good stuff cakes and again, they're affordable. Try one of their cheesecakes and dark chocolate cakes!
Went to Theo's after work, and the moment we walked in the crew greeted as with a warm welcome.
The menu they gave us was the breakfast, but we really wanted to try their pastas.
We had the Spicy Sardines, Chili con Queso and for the drink, blended Strawberries + Mint.
And you should definitely give cookie shot a try.
It was a satisfying and delightful breakfast.
I love the interior and service of Theo's, but their food needs a lot of improvement.
Lengua was soft but mushroom sauce was boring, my boyfriend finds his oven-baked baby back ribs okay. Pesto lost flavor with its soggy pasta. We find churros ice cream too sweet scrunching at every bite, and got really disappointed with matcha butterscotch (considering it as a cafe) it's more of an ice and matcha.
But overall it was okay. I find it ideal for students, price is cheap and still a good place to study or hangout with friends.
4.5/5: As soon as we saw the tarp saying “Now Serving Breakfast”, my friends and I knew that we were going to end up eating here. I ordered the Waffle + Bacon + Egg – and it tasted so good! The waffle is soft and had a creamy taste, the bacon is just the right balance of crunchy and chewy (with the right tad of sweetness), and the egg is done just the way I like it (sunny side up with a runny yolk). On top of it all, it also came with free coffee! The café interior is very homey and the little details in really popped out. The service was great too - smiles everywhere and the food arrived pretty fast. Would definitely come back here...and soon, I hope.

I come here all the time to do my thesis or simply dine. I usually order the baby back ribs and the all-american breakfast, and both are suuuuper worth it. (Except for that one time when my bacon had a foul taste, but when I asked my companion to taste it, he said he didn't notice anything off.) The ribs in particular, although quite pricey for a student on budget, are never disappointing: fall-off-the-bone tender and the sauce is splendid. I've also tried the churros in ice cream and cookie milk shot and although I generally avoid sweet snacks, they definitely satisfied my taste buds.
The 0.5 i held back in the rating is from the way the staff treat each other. Of course, that's beyond the scope of their obligation to me as a customer, but I've spent countless hours in the cafe and it does become alarming sometimes when I see or hear the staff bickering or throwing insults at each other, jokingly or not. That's just me, though.
Overall: GREAT service, GREAT food, GOOD ambiance, GOOD staff. WIFI and sockets are available for students.
I had a chance to drop by here last year. most of the restaurants around Maginhawa in UP Village opens at Lunch time. During that time I was there around 10 am and I found this nice place that serves really good coffee and breakfast.
The place is really nice and IG worthy!
Small space but very comfy. Tried the frankfurt sausage meal for breakfast. It's just across a laundry shop and it's the only place near the area that serves breakfast.
Pasta is excellent. Al dente with the perfect spicy srdines sauce. They have a different take on the mocha frappuccino which is also a good fix for chill coffee. Will definitely drop by here more often
The food here was cheap, the service was good, the internet was great and functional, but the food wasn't really great. Their Churros with ice cream tasted like lil orbits with a little bit of cheap ice cream. They had lengua which I love due to the general soft texture of tongue, but it tasted really bland.
Overall, I wouldn't go back, but yes, the food here is cheap.

What I love the most here is the smell of their coffee. Had our breakfast here with my boyfriend. We went upstairs so that I could take some pictures. The only thing which bothers me is their resto is small but cute. I ordered Breakfast steak while my boyfriend ordered Glazed homemade ham which I really love and tried to trade it with my bf. When I taste the ham, I feel like Christmas is sooooooo near. Taste like Christmas. Anyway, I request to order a cookies & cream frap which I was disappointed. It's pricey. But you'll love their ham. Promise!
Last time I and my boyfriend tried some of their foods💕 my boyfriend fell in love with their baby back ribs it was perfect💯 the taste, the softness, its texture and it was surprisingly affordable👌
The staffs were very attentive and they've joyfully served us👫💕
Ive only had the chance to taste their cakes because a colleague of mine celebrated her birthday and we had to buy a cake quick to surprise her. Happy to say that we were surprised ourselves with how moist and tasty their chocolate smore cake. It has the right blend of sweetness and the smore gives a sweet and salty kick. Im definitely trying their other confections.
I love everything about this place! The food, drinks, and the ambiance! Their frappes are superb and how their cake balances the sweetness of their frappe. I will definitely be back to try their Ube Cake frappe!
