Their Hunger Buster B meal has saved my life 92837492838392 times! For its price, you get a huge cup of rice, a huge serving of chicken tenders, and a huge glass of iced tea. It's really well worth your money! Super good flavors too - even the dips.
Flaming Wings will always have a specia place in my heart as that place to have a college post-long test meal. The OG katip wings place has unwavering quality!
I love Flaming Wings because of.....
1.) The Hunger Buster Meal: Wings -- four pieces of chicken wings with your own choice of sauce and dip, one cup of rice, and drink for only P165!
2.) Sauces and dips come for free. Choose from a wide choices of sauces: Mild n' Sweet, Wild, Smoky BBQ, and Original (they have added more sauces now). I ordered Mild n' Sweet as I had a really hot experience with Wild -- it's too hot to handle! Mild n' sweet was good, exuding the right amount of sweetness and spiciness.
For the dips they have: Honey-Mustard, Blue Cheese, Wasabi Mayo, Aioli, Ranch, Balsamic Mayo. I chose Ranch and expected an ala-Don Henrico's Ranch. Well, my expectations weren't met but still happy with it. High on food!
3.) Wicked Oreos which are oreo cookies wrapped in a pancake (is it?), fried, and topped with cocoa powder, vanilla ice cream, and CANDY SPRINKLES (which I love!)
Side note: I visited a branch located in a mall food court, unfortunately, it’s not as good as this branch (maybe even a bit far out).
This was our favorite hang out place when I was in college. We drive from Mendiola to Katipunan just for their wings! There are three branches near my workplace and I would love to pay a visit soon.
This is my barkada’s go to place when we don’t have a particular preference for dessert - it has ice cream, chocolate, something baked, all of which are particularly good. We got the Wicked Oreos Overload, Candied Walnut Sundae and Brownie Ala Mode.
Ordering the WO Overload as compared to the normal WO was worth it! We got twice the amount of oreos, triple the ice cream, and loads of chocolate drizzle and sprinkles. Everything just go well together, the contrast of ice cream and the still hot oreo pancake was heaven.
The Brownie Ala Mode was also really good. It had a very rich chocolate flavor, and was served hot under a creamy vanilla scoop. The Candied Walnut Sundae was nothing grand. It was just like your normal vanilla ice cream with walnuts on top.
The place is always crowded but that doesn't stop us from ordering their Wild wings and chicken tenders!!! Oh. And their Carbonara is my fave too! Food delivery through honestbee ❤
I love Flaming Wings!!!
I always order their Chicken Tenders - Smoky BBQ flavor with Bleu Cheese Dip. That's my number 1 favorite and it's only 145 pesos (it also comes with drinks). If you want a little more spice, Caribbean Jerk is the flavor to order, then pair it with Ranch (or Bleu Cheese forever!!!). There was a time that I ordered Mashed Potatoes. I wasn't able to finish it because the serving was big for me. But it was good, although not as much as I expected.
If it's your birthday, I think you can get free wicked oreos.
There is parking in front and in the back of the building of this branch. Also, if you guys are craving for Flaming Wings, some of the other branches (like at Taft) would be closed. So you can always tweet them or call them to ask if they are open.
(Side story: I live in QC and I went to Taft for Flaming Wings because there was this huge traffic jam in Katipunan at the time (also because I had to go to UST for some papers), but then it was closed, so I rode the LRT-1, MRT, and then LRT-2 just for this branch.)
Definitely my favorite wing place! I've missed it so much because they don't have one in Makati (so sad). Which signature sauce to I usually get for the wings? I love their wild sauce!!! Plus, everything at Flaming Wings is budget-friendly.

I miss eating at Flaming Wings, so I never miss an opportunity to visit when I am in the area. While I also miss their Chicken Parmigiana and their Wicked Oreos among their many other dishes, I decided to order their classic Tenders meal for this visit.
The Tenders meal is a set of breaded chicken tenders covered in sauce, ranging from the tangy Buffalo-style Original, to the subtle Mild n' Sweet, to the sweet-and-sour Caribbean Jerk, among others. It is served with rice, a choice of iced tea, lemonade, or bottled water, and a choice of sauce from Bleu Cheese, Ranch, Honey Mustard, and the like. A tasty, affordable meal at only P146.
Each bite of the Original is tangy before the Bleu Cheese introduces a sharp, salty taste that the hot rice completes. Each sip of the Red Iced Tea is cool and refreshing, and makes me want more.
When I crave for comfort food in Katipunan, Flaming Wings definitely comes to mind. Ordered the Tenders Meal with Mild n Spicy sauce and Bleu Cheese dip. Good enough serving size and very affordable price. ☺️
One of my faves :) I love their smokey bbq wings with honey mustard as my dip. Their penne with sausage and peppers has always been the pasta of my choice to pair with the wings ^_^ I've seen the changes in the menu and the color of the interior. I admit, I was heartbroken to see breakfast sundae off their list :( but there's warm apple pie ala mode to kind of make up for it :) Good place, good food with great value for money. Will keep coming back ;)

Ordered:
1. Chicken tenders (chicken meal)
Its a good place to eat variety of chicken flavors and dips. Though you should not expect that much coming from a flavor standpoint nevertheless you get value for your buck. You can choose flavor for your chicken tender and you can choose any dip for it. You also get a drink without breaking your wallet. We only paid for 180php per pax. 😊
Along the busy Katipunan is Flaming Wings where I was able to try their bestsellers, tenders in kpop sauce with bleu cheese dip and the wicked oreos. First, the tenders were good and I got the lovely korean flavor (sweet and spicy) from it's Kpop sauce. The Wicked Oreos serving was generous and yummy as expected.
We ordered Mozzi sticks, Wing Meal and 5 Wings. The Wing Meal had Original signature sauce and Ranch for dip,5 Wings had Mild n Sweet,K-Pop for signature sauce and ranch, bleu cheese for dips. All of those we ordered are worth the price and delicious, although my friend was expecting for K-Pop sauce to be more spicy but nevertheless we are satisfied with our orders.
A college favorite that never disappoints. Although, i kind of expected at least a bit of improvement since they've been in this industry for quite a while now. Nonetheless, flaming wings remains to be a go to wings place that is surely worth your money
This place is great. The food is really tasty and the serving size is worth it's value. The only thing I wish they could improve on is the ambiance of their place. The aircon is not that cold.
This is one of my high school favorite place to dine in since it's just walking distance from my school. I'm not a fan of chicken wings but in here, I can eat like 6 pieces of wings in one serving. I love the way they cook it plus their dips are delicious and it's affordable. One of my favorite dessert is from here as well and that's their wicked Oreos! It's really goooooddddand until now, I'm craving and wanting to make friend oreos. :)
Flaming Wings offers a great place to enjoy chicken wings and chicken tenders on a budget. I love their Original or Smokey BBQ sauce with the Ranch dressing.
It's not the best wings or tenders you'd find it town, but it's actually quite decent on a student budget.
More than the wings, it's the Wicked Oreos that keep me coming back! Imagine a plate of hot, batter-coated oreos with ice cream in the middle. The hot and cold combination is really tasty.

I'm a huge wing fan and have tried some of the best buffalo wings in the country. This restaurant doesn't look like much, especially as I believe they were undergoing a renovation when I was there, but the wings tasted great! The wings with the Wild sauce is really delicious with a nice touch of heat. Meaty wings, too! Order the wings crispy and you won't be disappointed.
My only recommendations would be to ensure that the wings are fully coated with the sauce, and to never serve cold Pomme Frites (french fries). The fries definitely need work, but I'm happy to provide 3.5 on account of wing flavor.
I am looking forward to returning to see what other new creations they come up with. The menu so far is really solid, making this one of the best choices for eats in the Loyola Heights area.
Known for their wings, alright, but I come here for their Wicked Oreos - the very first place that introduced me to some sweet deep fried goodness years back!! Im not sure if they are the first ones to conceptualize it here in the Philippines (most say they are), but Im guessing its recipe has its roots planted well from the land of all things that make you obese. Lol. Others may have improved it, tweaked it, have their version of it, named it differently, but one things for sure, Flaming Wings version got me.
Though horridly fattening, its a delectable treat to enjoy once in a while. So after feasting on their yummy wings, make sure not to skip their Wicked Oreos.
Enjoy! But not too much, healthy is still the way to be.

Anyone going to school in Katipunan has already tried this place.
its a know staple for wings and tenders and other comfort food.
when we went here we ordered plenty of entrees, boneless chicken, and of course deep fries oreos!
A really good wings joint priced just right. Yup, that's definitely Flaming Wings. They really serve good wings, it has it's own edge that's why it's up there with frankie's and sunrise. The price is student friendly. I really think it's an institution in katipunan.
Of course get the wings, then try the wicked oreos!
Nothing beats the best! From taft to katipunan, they are still serving chicken tenders to perfection with your choice of dips and sauces. Definitely a great comfort food after a tiring day at school or work.
One of the longest running restaurants in Katipunan. It's been one of my favorite places to eat at ever since college. Their wings and dips are to die for. Plus, WICKED OREOS.
My all time favorite buffalo wings. It's very affordable yet their quality of foods were so good and they have huge servings. Whenever me and my boyfriend eats here, our bill never went beyond 1K, knowing we already ordered so many foods considering we also have take out. Their place is pretty small and knowing it's always jam-packed but I prefer eating in their White Plains branch.
Their wings were so good. Our fave are Carribean Jerk and Original and their wings are times two. We also like their Sandwiches which is so full of stuff. Their Jalapeno Pops is also my favorite so oozing with cheese and has a kick of spice. Their Meal also was so affordable and big servings.
As a student, you always want to maximize taste, size/amount, and price. And flaming wings have done just that! My first ever resto in Katipunan, and also my last :) (i made sure of it, at least as a student anyways). Hunger Buster meal for P130 is always my first choice. A lot of tender chicken strips, drink, rice and dip is heaven! I hope the place starts opening in malls :)
One of my all time fave chicken wings. You can choose the marinade and your dip! And to end all the spiceness of the chicken wings, the ever famous wicked oreos!

Flaming wings has always been our go-to resto back in college because of the affordability and the quality of their food. So glad that after 5 years and the many revamping of Katipunan restos it's still there! They have many food choices to choose from including chicken wings/tenders meal with drink, pasta, stuffed porkchop and etc all under/more or less P200 but their famous Wicked Oreos is the real star of this resto. Recently tried their Warm Brownie Ala Mode and it's also a delight as well. ❤️
I've been a fan of Flaming Wings since it opened in Katipunan! My "default" is Wings or Tenders with Smoky BBQ sauce, paired with Honey Mustard, or Ranch, or Bleu Cheese dip, and Mashed Potato. When at Flaming Wings, ending with their ever-famous Wicked Oreos is a must! My other favorites include the Lettuce Wrap and the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Too bad they don't serve the Breakfast Sundae anymore. It's a nice, casual, and friendly place; though it tends to get quite loud when many of the tables are occupied.
Great value for money, especially if you order the Chicken Tenders Meal! Nice, crisp chicken strips, coated in your choice of sauce. I usually choose the Original sauce with the Blue Cheese dip. An order of Wicked Oreos is a great way to end your meal.
The thing about going to Flaming Wings is you go there for the food and not the service or the ambiance.
Of course, when one dines in Flaming Wings, one must get their wings! :) I always have a hard time when I choose my dip for the wings, since they all sound so yummy! From Original, to Mild and Sweet, etc. After one has devoured the wings, I highly recommend their wicked oreos! It's three deep fried oreos served with vanilla ice cream. Who can say no to that? :)
I eat here occasionally..their food is a great value for money and their flavorings are not found in any other food joint..easy to find and most times there will be available seats if you wait for a short while..
So last night, me and my high school ex-crush went on a dinner together. It was a deal from last week's Pacquiao-Mayweather fight. I know it's not acceptable, but we had a bargain. And then, I was searching over Zomato, to see some "Must-try" and "budget-friendly" foods. So I saw this resto, and check on their menu. And got my attention.
So we went there last Wednesday, May 20th. And ordered 5 buffalo wings. And what's good about it because it's actually not 5 buffalo wings but 10pcs. And we tried their Tenders which basically are chicken strips. God, they are so tender. 😂
And yeah, we ordered Original Sause for the wings and have some Bleu (i can't remember) dip. Then BBQ sauce on the tenders and have some honey mustard dip.
It was delicious at the same time very "budget-friendly". Sad to say, we haven't tried their wicked oreos. :( But over all we are so full of chicken in our tummys. And we didn't even reached Php. 500
Must try: Buffalo wings in mild & sweet sauce, Penne Arrabbiata & Wicked Oreos.
My Food-O-Meter:
Taste: 4/5
Price: 5/5
Service: 3.5/5
Never eat here on weekdays! Super crowded & super noisy! Huge portions. An order of their 5pcs buffalo wings are actually 10 pcs. (5 wingette & 5 drumette).
Some wild wings to start the day. It was the kind of spicy that one could take. I forgot what dip was paired with this but it’s good without that.
I always go for their Chicken Tenders as I really don’t want them bones in the way. Had this in original sauce paired with their ranch dip. It was quite tangy. I really like how they do their tenders here as the pieces are cut thinly unlike in some restos. This allows for the sauce to sink in, thus, making one flavorful dish.
My friend had their wings version of the original one. This meal comes with 2 wings, your choice of dip, rice and drink. They also have a Tenders version of this with the same additions.
No rice for that day. Just good old mashed potatoes. I found it to be a little dry though. I really wanted rice but forgot to order it. Besides, their serving of this is good for two.
Their Wicked Oreos was a must on our list that day. Yeah, the chicken was good but this is what we really came for (I think my friends and I were on the same boat on this one. Hehe). Three fried oreos paired with vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate powder and sprinkles. And yeah, three servings for four gals.
I think they crushed the oreos first that’s why the cream isn’t visible. Or probably the cream melted during the frying process. Not sure on the process but this makes for one enjoyable dessert. Though it wasn’t as glorious as I used to have it back then, it still was a comfort dessert for me.
Being a Katipunan girl for 4 years, Flaming Wings has been one of my favorite pig out restaurants.
I so love their Tenders Meal because:
- it is for sharing
- generous servings
- delicious!!!
- affordable
- really makes me full
Cons:
like most of the restaurants along Katipunan, this place is also jam-packed with students from Miriam, Ateneo, and UP especially during lunch time but, again, it is worth the wait.
Flaming Wings is easily located because it is just before Pizza Hut if you're coming from Marcos Highway.
The first time I ate at Flaming Wings was three years ago when I was still in high school. My brother and I only went there for the Wicked Oreos. It’s not that we don't like their wings. It’s because we just finished munching down burgers at Zark’s. Anyway, I came back because I wanted Wicked Oreos! I also wanted to have a taste of their wings. My boyfriend and I ordered five Mild n’ Sweet Buffalo wings with Bleu Cheese and Ranch for dips which only cost us P248 and an additional P28 for the extra dip. We ordered Wicked Oreo for P80, of course. This review might be a little bias because I love Oreo and vanila ice cream. As a whole, I liked Flaming Wings. They have tasty Buffalo wings, my cravings were satisfied and I was so full that I had to unbutton my pants after the meal. Plus, it only cost us less than P400 so I will come back, especially if I'm on a tight budget.
Decided to try this place finally after reading a lot about it here in Zomato. We ordered two of their Tenders Meal with Original Sauce and Bleu Cheese Dip while the other was a Honey Mustard Dip, served with rice pilaf and drink. I felt it had a bit of a greasy taste to it, but otherwise it's okay for it's price.
And of course how could I try Flaming Wings without ordering their ever famous Wicked Oreos? This one I loved with the oreos warm and the vanilla ice cream with sprinkles on top! It was so sinful but so gooood and much better than the ones you try to make at home.
Very affordable and vey flavourful! Flaming Wings is probably one of the cheapest but still delicious buffalo wings out their. For those who are along Katipunan and looking for a good place to eat, this resto is recommendable!
How I miss eating their buster meal for a light eater like me, way back into my college days. The chicken combined with dip really takes place together and cold drink for lunch. A really thumbs up to commend their restaurant.
We ordered tenders in honey mustard dip. It is affordable and surprisingly filling. They have big serving of rice. Their service is good as well.
Decided to try this restaurant with my cousin and i wasn't disappointed. Surprisingly, it was affordable. I ordered the wings meal with ranch dip and it was delicious. The place was clean and their staff were accomodating
My friends decided to eat at Flaming Wings and it seemed that I was the only one that hadn't. When I checked the menu out, I realized that the Hunger-Buster Meals were really cheap so I decided to give it a shot. Let's just say that if you get that, you'll get way more than your money's worth and you'll leave as happy and satisfied as I did.
Used to order their Original buffalo wings with Ranch dip with college friends whether to cap off some stressful nights or just enjoy some good dinner out. Now reminiscing how their wings tasted like - sweet, tangy and a bit spicy, all these combined into a gloriously flavored dish! Flaming Wings also was one of the pioneers to offer Oreos for dessert with their "Wicked Oreos" - 3 oreos wrapped in a pancake like batter topped with vanilla ice cream! I have nothing but all good memories about Flaming Wings - might be a small place but really an old good place to have great food along Katipunan. I cannot wait to go back whether it be in this branch or their other new branches! :)
A NY style buffalo wings in Manila
My friend and I craved for something spicy yet budget friendly meal or snack, so she brought me along QC to try one of the best buffalo wings at Flaming Wing.
What I loved here is just simple rustic ambiance with quick, fast casual dinning service we dont need to wait long minutes to dig in.
As for starter/appetizer we had Garlic Fries. A basket of pomme frites cut potato properly cooked with butter and coated with plenty of crunchy toasted garlic.
Next is what we are waiting for, Buffalo Wing :) it comes with the choice of sauce, dip and drinks and served with a cup of steamed rice. So we had Buffalo Wing coated with Original style recipe sauce accompanied with bluecheese dip and Buffalo Wings coated with Smokey BBQ sauce accompanied with ranch sauce. Uhhmmmm
For the sweet ending, we had their famous Wicked Oreos. Oreos that dipped and coated with dough batter and deep fried served with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with sprinkles and cocoa powder. A combination of hot and cold that explodes on my mouth :) Yuuuummmm ...
I love Flaming Wings! It's the perfect place for people, students and myself included, on a budget! They serve flavorful and great food in generous servings that are equally laudably affordable! And their glass of ice tea is huge!
I always order the buffalo wings meal. The last time I was here, I ordered the sweet n mild wings and chose the honey mustard as dip. Amazing combination! One word for flaming wings: "sulit". No pretensions about the food, you get what you are made to expect.
Just heard from my brother in law that Flaming Wings has a store near DLSU.
I love the super duper hot wings of flaming wings. Highly recommended!
Biggest downside to this store in Katipunan is super duper difficult parking.
Will definitely try the other stores if it measures up to the taste of the katipunan store!
Happy dining!
Flaming Wings is a small restaurant along Katipunan Avenue which mainly serves chicken products. Their chicken tenders (boneless strips of chicken fillet) is an easy best-seller. What makes Flaming Wings unique is that you can choose your own chicken flavor and dip to go with it. My favorite is Carribean Jerk and Honey Mustard for the spicy-and-sweet mix. For dessert, get their Wicked Oreos, a three-piece batter-coated oreo with vanilla ice cream.
One of my favorite food joints along katipunan. Usually always packed with rowdy college kids with big appetites this place serves honest to goodness greasy food that we all love ans enjoy. Of course you go there for the buffalo wings but that's not the only thing hiding in their arsenal. Another must try is their stuffed porkchop. 2 slices of pork witg spinach and cream cheese in the middle. I swear you'll be craving it. And of course, let's not forget the legendary wicked oreos. Imagine deep fried oreos ala mode. Delightfully sinful is what it is.

I was really surprised when we got to Flaming Wings that it was packed, and the only table left for the group was the one near the kitchen/counter. All of us were intently studying what dishes to order since we were all hungry already.
Flaming Wings boast five flavors of wings namely:
- Original
- Mild n' Sweet
- Wild
- Smokey BBQ
- Carribean Jerk
All available in 4 sizes -
- 3 wings
- 5 wings
- 15 wings
- 24 wings
Sincemy wife and me don't like the spicy stuff we ordered 5 pieces of wings in Mild n' Sweet flavor . We were surprised when our 5 wing order came out they meant five whole wings including the small drumstick, so we got 10 pieces total. All orders also came with one complimentary dip. Our choice was blue cheese. The chicken was very crispy and flavorful but we still like the Honey Mustard Wings of Charlie's as well as the complimentary vegetable sticks they serve there.
Good thing the others ordered different flavors, except for Wild, which I wouldn't touch anyway. I tried all of them and really loved the Carribean Jerk and Smokey BBQ. The smokey BBQ is for those who do not want any spice from their wings, just the wonderfully deep smoked flavor. The Carribean jerk is a little spicy, tolerable for me though, highlighted by the lime taste. These are two flavors I would definitely order again on my next visit.
I also ordered a Pulled Pork BBQ Plate, slow-cooked pork doused with bbq sauce.I really loved the pulled pork although I felt the rice pilaf does not match it well. I think next time I should ask for plain rice instead to allow the the flavors of the pulled pork to rise.
Even though we were going for dessert after, Carlos said we should have a taste of Flaming Wings' signature dessert, Wicked Oreos. 3 pieces of Oreos smothered in batter and then served with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream. Notice the blue sprinkles on top of the dessert, green sprinkles are used in their branch across La Salle (a nice touch) The batter tasted somewhat like donut batter, a wonderful mixture of chewy goodness that is a great match to the vanilla ice cream.
Flaming Wings is definitely a bang for the buck restaurant evidenced by the unending customers leaving behind piles of bones. I see a lot more things in the menu I want to try next time.
