Ive never tasted any burger better than the one that serve here in Burgoo! I eat here so many times but this is the 1st time i ordered burger and it is so DELICIOSO!
Value for money purchase esp. because they allowed their steaks to be included as complimentary dish in a Zomato gold purchase. The doneness was also accurate even if the slabs of meat were thick. Their serving size was also generous. I would recommend this to people esp. if they have Zomato Gold.
Burgoo is one of the many casual dining restaurants at SM North EDSA. It is located at 3/f of The Block. They serve American style cuisine from pastas, pizzas, burgers, steaks, ribs to seafood.
The freshly grilled burger steak is tasty, tender and juicy. It comes with just the right amount of mushroom gravy that goes well with the taste of the meat and the mashed potato. It is also served with java rice. The serving is good for one person.
The country style fried chicken is marinated with lemon grass and fried to perfection. It is served with fried potato wedges and java rice. The serving is enough for one person.
The place is a bit small so it tends to be crowded during lunch and dinner times. Most of the entrees on their menu are good for sharing, which makes it ideal for groups of 3-4 persons. Orders takes a little while to be served so I would not suggest eating here if you are in a hurry.
They have big servings and I love the taste of their food. We ordered pasta and burger. I also enjoyed their table where you can write or draw using their colors. 😅
Not a lot of people eat here (maybe because it's quite expensive) but if you are looking for something to really fill you up and you're not on a tight budget, this is the place to be. Steak and salmon was good.

Serving was huge. We had to take the other orders home as we can no longer finish eating them. The food was superb! The grilled lamb was cooked perfectly!
We have used our Zomato Gold to order a large Carbonara and got a free regular Seafood Jambalaya Supreme. Waiting time was quite short. Food was served hot and tastes great. Service excellent. Will definitely come back.
I used zomato gold to treat my mom for mother's day. So delicious! I would recommend it for those who would like to have ribs and steak. We loved the shrimps and the raspberry cheesecake too!

The food had big portions and are delicious. The staff are courteous and friendly. The room temp of the inside dining area was hot so we sat outside. However since we took the table outside the store, we need to wait for them to look at our area before we can call them for refill of drinks and other requests.

Unlocked my Zomato Gold privilege together with my Sister here in Burgoo. Burgoo is one of those restaurants that has been there since The Block opened its doors to the public and I cannot remember when was the last time I dined here.
Ambiance - 3.0/5.0
The aircon inside the restaurant itself was down so we just opted to stay outside. The tables do have crayons and paper where kids and even adults can draw while waiting for their food.
Service - 5.0/5.0
The servers and even the managers are really nice. They did not even bother to give some of our orders in advance since they saw that my nephew was grumpy 'coz he is already hungry. Also, they made sure that we will be seated comfortably.
Food - 4.0/5.0
PIZZA SAMPLER- It is rare for restaurants to offer samplers especially it takes time and separate effort to prepare them but Burgoo does it excellently. Every pizza was good and not to mention, very generous with toppings.
CARBONARA- The Pasta's cream was really thick and tastes good. I suggest that they make sure that the Bacon is generous or just make the slices smaller 'coz it was not bite size.
SHRIMP AND RIBS PLATTER
- We ordered two of this 'coz one is not enough. The ribs was really good and well seasoned. It was tender and flavorful. Good enough that I did not ask for sauce. The shrimps were small but I guess, it was meant to be bite-size. The fries were good and chunky. Lastly, the corn is flavorful and well-cooked. It was easy to bite (we prefer the kernels instead since most of it is gonna be eaten by my nephew.)
Will definitely go back for the other offerings.
My friend and I ordered the cheesy fries, pork chop, and chicken steak. The regular-sized portion can be for 1-2pax already, so I'd say it's worth it for the price.

My husband and I ordered their yummy jambalaya and the appetizer sampler. Definitely generous servings and the taste is also superb! Will definitely go back for more. Servers are also very courteous and attentive to our needs.
Courteous servers, decent food but lacks wow factor in flavor. The Jambalaya was the only one I'd go back for. The shrimp tastes like they were of the frozen variety- which means they don't have as much flavor in them. Everything was so-so, except the Jambalaya.

We’ve been here before and food quality still remains the same. I feel like some meat portions are being served smaller now than before. Or maybe because it’s on promo? I don’t know. Well food tastes good here.
Okay, with this one foods are quite pricy. Understood since it is a fine dining restaurant. We ordered 3 variety of foods and paid almost a thousand peso, but for me it's worth the price. Why? Because servings are large enough to be served for solo head. Anyway, it's good to dine here, relaxing place to have a chit-chats with your friends and staffs are accomodating as well. By the way, it's my second time to dine here. 😌

Hi I just want to give feedback regarding our dining experience.
So we use booky app to avail the discount , when you reach 1000 pesos in your bill less service charge you will get 500 off or 300 off depende sa time and day.
First, we ordered Seafood Jambalaya Supreme(395)
- it's good for 2-3 persons and thats good. The rice is a little bit sour maybe naparami yung lagay ng certain condiments or what.
Second, Shrimp and Ribs Platter(695)
- the ribs was good super tender even my mom nagustuhan niya but the shrimp medyo oily.
Lastly, Taco salad (325)
- good for 1-2persons, what I like is the taco shell hindi siya ordinary taco na starchy and the ranch dressing it's so good sarap ng pagkakatimpla match talaga sa salad.
So all in all
Food -4/5 ( what I enjoyed the most is refillable yung drinks? Haha )
Ambiance- 4/5
( Recommended to lalo na sa mga customer na may kasamang bata since sa table nila merong crayons, so di mababagot yung mga bata habang naghihintay ng pagkain.)

Ordered the grilled pork chops regular with mashed potatoes and rice pilaf. The chop is indeed tender and cooked right and liked the brown sauce that it was served in. Fairly priced at 395, and the regular is too big for me already. Will surely recommend 👍🏻

It is so cozy to dine here. The tables have easel sheets and crayons so kids can doodle whatever they like and I was so impressed with the waiter who took my order because he didn't write it down yet got it all right! The servings are huge, we ended up taking it home and it taste fine too. Just a bit pricey but hey, it's worth it.
It’s been a while since I last ate here. I always loved the idea of their table tops being covered in paper and customers are encouraged to doodle and draw on the table while waiting for the food to come.
We ordered some cocktails first, a blue lagoon and a pina colada. The blue lagoon was served first and the pina colada took like an hour maybe to appear on our table. I had to follow up the waitress several times before it was actually served.
The Chicken Diane taste amazing. What I didn’t liked though was that the white sauce was too scant and it quickly dried up on the bottom of the hot serving platter. The grilled lamb chops was tender but tasted a bit gamey.
I just wished that the staff could have served the food a bit better and with more care, considering the hefty price we paid for it. I don’t know if I would want to come and eat here again.
Our family's all-time fave. Good food & very good service. Plus you'll have something to do, which is to doodle on their paper-covered table with crayons, is a brilliant way for customers not to get bored while waiting for the order. 👍🏼👍🏼
The food is really great! However, eating there was very uncomfortable. We didn't fit in and I think it's quite obvious that we do not eat in this kind of place often. Still, it's very rude of the staff to glance at us with not-so-innocent-nor-warm thoughts.

We went here yesterday for my birthday celebration. I was so excited because I love american food! The ambiance was great though it was kind of hot. Our waiter was JM, and he's very accommodating. Good job! So here's what we ordered:
•Shrimps and ribs platter (Large P995)
- The ribs were delicious! The meat was soft enough for a fork to cut it into pieces. (Go request for some salt and pepper, it will taste even better!) The shrimps were too salty, so I had to eat it with a spoon full of plain rice. The side dishes — corn, mashed potato — lacks in flavor.
•Pizza Sampler (Create your own) (Large P595)
- Pepperoni pizza tasted sweet which was kind of weird because I thought pepperoni pizzas should taste salty? The rest were okay. But I don't recommend it.
•Supreme Platter (Large P595)
- My favorite in this platter is the buffalo wings! It tasted a bit crunchy but the flavors were all in there (please order some if you wish to eat here). The fries goes with melted cheese and bacon which is one of the best invention ever is in this platter as well. Love it! Mozzarella sticks and calamari will also tickle your taste buds in this dish. Worth it!
•Lemonade (P69)
- It was too sweet. I had to add some water in it to make it taste just right. But who could resist a bottomless lemonade right? :)
The dishes looks properly prepared, but some doesn't really matches the taste. However, they have big servings in a dish! They said that the LARGE platters were for 3-4 pax but to me, it looks like a 4-6! So cool! I will still come back here for sure. Nice place to reunite with your friends!!
Had the lunch set - pork chop, corn salsa, house salad. The salad was smothered with parmesan 😊😊😊 and the vinagrette was just perfect. The corn salsa was ok, usual corn and carrots with a piece of broccoli. The pork chop was thin, but well marinated, and the gravy was superb. There should be more pork chop for that gravy 😄😐😄
This has always been our default go to restaurant for family dinners. Most of the food are good. Pizza, burger, fried chicken, pork chop, pasta, I think they have mostly everything on their menu.

THE LOCATION
The place looks terrific especially with its wall designs and lighting. If you want a pace where you can draw with family or friends especially when you're looking for a creative outlet to be a kid again then this place is for you since they provide crayons and a big sheet of paper where diners can draw while they wait for their food.
THE FOOD
Our family ordered the starter sampler (4.5/5), seafood linguine(4/5), and Shrimps and Ribs platter(5/5). The starter sample itself will overwhelm you. The fries comes with cheese and few bacon bits, some celery sticks, the buffalo chicken that tasted great along with the dip. The only downside is their mozza sticks that were not served hot. It could have been better since mozza sticks with melted cheese are really the best kind. The seafood linguine was okay. There were a lot of clams although some clams were not open so you better find a hole on the side so you can open it with your knife. Lastly, their shrimps and ribs platter was amazing. The ribs tasted great as well as the fried shrimps. So yummy! This is definitely a place to look forward going back to!!
I had a great time visiting here. Their crews are welcoming and approachable. The place looks good and entertaining. When it comes to food, I appreciate their style of cooking. I love their seafood pasta. The platters are also yummy. Thumbs up!!!
I like the Burrito and Chicken Quesadilla. One of the best pasta of burgoo that i ever tasted is their Shrimp Arrabiatta i like shrimp and it has lots of shrimps in it my twin sons also love it and they serve it in huge portion. Price is a little bit pricey but its worth it. Staffs always serve our food with a smile. We all like it here.
Went here once, and will definitely go back here with my family.
Food: I ordered the Shrimp and Chips, I just love shrimp! every bite was like my first. It's so tasty, that you couldn't just get enough of it. For my husband, he got the Seafood Jambalaya and enjoyed it so much. It's so flavorful and the seafood are fresh.
It's also cute that they have coloring papers and crayons, perfect for customers with kids, actually we enjoyed playing with it too.
The staff are very nice and are patient in explaining the menu.
Pricey yes, but you'll definitely get great value for money.
It was the day when pope francis visited the country and so we had our raincoats with us (my cousin, aunt and i). After all the struggles and wet feet, soaked clothes even though we tried covering our entire body, we decided to reward the effort we did just to see the pope. We went to burgoo and tried their pizza. It was actually really good. I wasnt expecting too much since almost all the overrated restaurants we tried was just really disappointing or ok. But their pizza was really good, tasty and not greasy. We loved it! And the paper mat was also very interesting. You can draw and color whatever while waiting for your food!
Their table cover was a big paper where kids and kids at heart can draw. We're still handed with crayons even we do not have any kids with us. :)
The staff handed us a free chicken wings coupon for orders worth P1500! It's best to eat here in groups because of its big serving. I find it heavy to tummy as well.

A bit on the expensive side, but servings are for 2-3 people. A plus is that it's kid friendly. Their tables are topped with a huge (recycled) paper and crayons, which kids can use while waiting for the order/s. Servers are accomodating enough, too.
We ordered taco mexicano pizza, non-spicy buffalo chicken strips, and chicken american with angel hair pasta in tomato basil sauce. Everything tasted great, but the dip for the buffalo strips was the highlight for me!

Been to Burgoo countless times, and never did it fail me. Our recent visit here was unplanned. We were to dine at the newly-opened branch of a certain restaurant in Sky Garden but the place was packed, so we ended up here instead. There were a bit lot of customers when we arrived but we were comfortably seated at once on a couch.
It was already 6 o’ clock and we will be attending a dinner party afterwards. Just to satiate our need to dine out because we were like on post-new year date c”,) we ordered the regular sizes (counterpart of the petite size in Gumbo) of the Supreme Sampler, Grilled Pork Chops, and the Seafood Linguini. We were amazed by how big their regular servings were (maybe because of the trauma Gumbo had caused us. Haha!)
The Supreme Sampler was a platter of four (4) mozzarella sticks, onion rings, four (4) cuts of Buffalo wings, and loaded fries. Three (3) kinds of dipping were also included. Everything on the sampler was great except for the Buffalo wings. It was a total let down since it was the one I am looking forward to have on the platter. The wings seemed to be an old refried chicken coated with spicy catsup, disguising as a buffalo wing. It was all tough and dry – sagad to the bones! Among the dipping sauce, it was the bleu cheese dip that stood out the most. Bleu cheese was intolerable for me yet the subdued flavor of it, in the dip, tickled my taste buds.
The Grilled Pork Chop comes with two choices of sidings. Since, we ordered for sharing, I chose rice pilaf while my girl had a mashed potato. In truth, the chop was good for one only but since we still have a heaping serving of pasta – I’ll get to that later – we manage to share it with each other.
It was a one-piece bone-in Pork Chop served with gravy on top. The presentation was mouthwatering, especially with charcoal marks on it. It was grilled in perfection. Well-done, but, tender and juicy. The gravy matches the flavor of the pork chop, and complemented our side orders, as well.
The Seafood Linguini, as I have previously mentioned, was heaping. We even asked the server if it was really the regular size. With other orders, their pasta can be good for three (3) persons. The pasta was flavorful – just a bit lacking with salt, but adding parmesan cheese would do the trick. It was even loaded with lots of seafood. This one’s a great deal! How I really love Burgoo!
Due to the large serving sizes, we were not able to finish our meal. And I was so glad to have our leftover Linguini for breakfast!

I brought my nephews here to have lunch one time, and found the place quite lively, which was just right for the kids. I asked the girl over near the counter for some paper and crayons, and since I had 2 kids with me, she happily gave me 2 sets as well. The crew were very happy all the time, and was delighted to do anything to be able to please the customers. Eating here came as a surprise to me, because it never crossed my mind that the servings were large. I ordered Appetizer Sampler, and was good enough for 4-6 persons. The Chicken Quesadilla and Beef Burrito was great! they didn't hold out on the cheese and beef which i like so much. The kids enjoyed their pasta's as well, which went quite good with fried chicken.
This definitely wouldn't be the last time for me to eat here, I would go here next time, and bring along my friends for a good afternoon snack.
