This is one of the best coffees in town. Great ambiance and very accommodating staffs up to the owner.
They were doing renovation works on the 2nd floor while I was working there. Owner (I think) was there talking to people and being apologetic for the incovenience. Gave us free mini ensaymadas when work was done. Great customer service!

Great place for coffee n cake with spacious interiors well lit during daytime. Americano and Iced Caramel Maccciato were both good as was the small chocolate cake we shared. Great service
I know this is a coffee shop but their pork kare-kare is legit! Must try! It may be a bit pricey but this serving is for sharing (about 4-5)

Great place to study! They have long table which is easily accessable to sockets. The lighting is great and would keep you awake, they have fast wifi and a very friendly staff.

Just had a very satisfying and filling lunch here with family and friends. The images on the menu made me salivate and the glutton in me wanted to order all. Good thing it's someone else's treat so common decency prevented me from doing so. We ordered ube champorado, rigatoni, mussels de manila, crispy kare-kare, kaldereta, seared salmon and for dessert, we had lava cake. If I were to choose a favorite, it would be the kare-kare due to its rich and creamy sauce, which was so flavorful that it actually did not require shrimp paste. The price is also affordable; however, the parking is a bit of a challenge that's why the 4-star rating. But overall, it's a place worth visiting again and again and again.

Discovered this cafe while driving around. Decided to give it a try as my usual spots in Tomas have been overfilled lately (aka grown too popular). Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The beef tapa was more than adequate with thick cuts of beef that wasn’t overcooked and (surprisingly) properly cooked sunny side up eggs. I’m looking at you overdone solid yellow frisbees found just about everywhere. Since I was reviewing here all day I also gave their pasta a try for lunch and again found it quite good. The chicken could be a smidge bigger and was a touch overcooked but that’s nitpicking. It was served piping hot, the pasta cooked al dente, the sauce a proper red sauce (not Filipino sweet), with 2 baguette pieces (unfortunately bread quality is lacking but that’s just about everywhere in the ph unless you pay a lot more).
Other stuff: lots of seating but only the periphery has outlets, WiFi is pretty solid but expect a slow down when it gets full, good hours 7am-12pm most days.
Definitely will be back to use this place more often!
One of the hidden gems in QC for breakfast. Their tapsilog is one of the best I’ve tried. It’s very flavorful and the meat is so tender. It’s also paired with their garlic rice that’s equally flavorful as well. Two eggs complete this breakfast plate for you plus a cup of Americano. The only concern here is the limited parking space and staff in the morning so service can be a little slow.

It was sweltering that day. The brief walk from the car to the Caerus's entrance was excruciating. Good thing that the bistro's airconditioning was working well. And when you come to think about it, almost everything about the cafe worked well.
One, it was spacious. Airy. The tables and chairs were spaced out well. Meaning, diners can walk around conveniently. The servers, on the other hand, were accommodating, on their toes.
As for the food, the appetizers they served us were above average. The Oriental Salad's lettuce were fresh and the Potato Chips a thinly-sliced and freshly-cooked number served with tartar dip.
Personally, it was the Bulalo that caught my fancy. It has both pork (belly) and beef (bone marrow) the flavors of which played nicely well. Not to mention, the star anise strong bite added to the over-all appeal of the dish.
The Pinakbet with it's okra, eggplant, string beans and lechon kawali holds a strong second on my list from among the dishes on the table. Vegetables were fresh and the bagoong used, not too salty just right.
Beverage. The smoothies served were, well, not extraordinary. Actually, they tasted powdered saved by the whipped cream on top. The iced tea house blend had this quirky after taste. To be fair, it wasn't bad only quirky.
My Careus Specialty Coffee + Bistro is one experience I don't mind repeating. As a matter of fact, I plan to take my Mom so she (we) could try the salmon dish. Sounds delish.

It was 2:00 PM when we had our foodie meet up here. It maybe a lazy afternoon but it was cozy and relaxing inside. The place is spacious. Several charging sockets are available and they have a WiFi connection. Aside from desserts and coffee, they are proud to share their sumptuous meals.
We got to try the following:
Oriental Salad - fresh lettuce leaves tossed in oriental dressing topped with walnut, and mango.
Potato Chips - a good appetizer. fresh thin cut chips served with tartar sauce, topped with parmesan cheese. It has that salty taste. It remained crispy even if it took us longer to take photos for the food.
Lemongrass Chicken - marinated chicken thigh fillet in lemongrass topped with Rosemary. Served with rice pilaf and veggies. It has a little herby taste.
Chili Chicken Chops - marinated chicken thigh fillet in cayenne, sriracha, cumin, served with rice pilaf and veggies.
Pinakbet - assorted veggies (pumpkin, okra, string beans, eggplant, bitter gourd) topped with crispy slices of lechon kawali. It was salty for my liking but for some, they liked it.
Mixed Meat Bulalo - pork belly, beef bone marrow, beef cubes simmered in veggie + beef broth. It was strange tasting a bulalo soup blended with the star-anise's aroma.
Truffle Pasta - linguine pasta in creamy truggle sauce with shitake and button mushrooms. Serving is good for 1. It was too creamy and the taste was perfect.
Price range is on the average-higher side but the quality was never compromised and that's what I like about Caerus and their food. Recommended!(will upload photos soon)
Excellent cafe. Love the interiors and the coffee. Dark chocolate mocha sansrival is one of the best cakes I ever had. Prices are reasonable but had to knock a star off because the toilets were broken when I visited and I had to be ushered to the back alley to use the toilet of the adjacent defunct cafe. Not cool.
Been here like maybe 3 months ago. We loved the coffee and dessert selection. Came back again and tried the food. Food is good. Light lang, good for sharing but now we see dessert comes from Purple Oven na. It’s still good but I guess it lacks uniqueness in terms of dessert selection. Bring back old cake supplier, masarap yung Calamansi Pie
Good place to study/hang out. Food can be a pricey but the ambiance and service is really good. Parking is also not a problem since there is street parking if the allotted slots are already taken. Overall, it's a good resto/cafe if you're not too particular with food and just need a good place to work/chill
Great service. Food we ordered were quite salty (salmon pesto pasta, four cheese pizza), but maybe they can adjust the salt level if you'd request it. The potato chips were crispy. The cake we ordered (during our first visit) was also good. Fast wifi.
If you are looking for some LEGIT coffee, this is the place to be! They also serve great food! Their tapsilog and cornsilog are must tries! This place also has a very nice ambiance which is great for studying (bright lights and with outlets for your gadgets) or just hanging out with friends! I definitely recommend this place!
Been here twice. Our two visit was great and still same service. They have new dishes to try. They were good and big servings which can be shared by two persons. Truffle pasta have still the same taste. Tastes like carbonara. 😅
A nice place to hang out, it's pretty spacious with both big tables and shared sitting areas. They have a selection of cakes which you could identify as coming from Purple Oven, so it's good. I had their vanilla latte, and it was okay, albeit a bit sweet for my taste. WiFi is good, and it's good a good atmosphere
My dad’s favorite is the Salmon. It’s so good! I tried their tocilog, it’s good too! Love their coffee and mallow cake too 😍 Cozy place with high speed wifi and ample parking.
Had our late lunch here yesterday, we ordered tapsilog, grilled porkchop, affogato and a slice of choco doom i think. Well the tapa tasted good, while the porkchop tasted bland and abit pricey for 265 for a piece of porkchop while tha beef tapa only cost 230pesos. Well i still rated it a 4star because of the unique place and its big and clean. Service is good.
Caerus is a nice place to have coffee and study, I just tried their Iced Hazelnut Latte which was balanced (not too sweet). Their atmosphere is nice and cozy, I enjoy the decor and the ambiance. I will definitely be coming back here to try more of their menu items.
We ordered the Tocilog, sinigang na lechon kawali, kare kare, fish and chips, bangsilog, and spaghetti bolognese and i can say the food quality and the coffee is superb. 👌👌 Sana di magbago quality as time goes by. :)
First off, parking was not a problem. Second, staff was accommodating and welcoming. Slow brew coffee was sooo good. The grilled salmon was also cooked to perfection. Ambiance is warm and comforting and not too noisy despite the crowd. A good place to just hang out and talk nonstop with friends. Definitely a new go to place. Unfortunately, was so hungry coming here that I forgot to take a picture of the food prior to digging in. You'll just have to take my word for it. 😂

Nice place to do your thesis or catch up on some studying. I am a cafe hopper in tomas area and this place is a refreshing take on the usual scene of cafes in the area.
They have outlets and wifi (though havent tried this as I have a pocket wifi)
The truffle pasta, potato chips and iced double mocha (my fave!!!) are good choices.
If you are tired of the usual scenes around tomas, then coming to this place is a breather. The nice ambiance and good decoration doesn't hurt either.
P.S. I like the inside area of the cafe, the chairs are more comfy there.

*Update: upon my return, I had their Triple Decker Sandwich and Double Mocha. Sandwich is good and Double Mocha is even better :). Good quality pastrami and ham and the sweet creamy chicken salad accompanied a good layer of flavor and texture with enough acidity from the veggies to balance. Double Mocha is really good, double for the blend of Belgian and Davao chocolate used. Upon serving, the aroma from the coffee and Davao chocolate was pleasingly apparent. The taste justified that; bold chocolatiness, right hint of sweetness and earthy coffee presence just there as much as the chocolate. Great stuff!

Stopped by for a quick lunch at this handsome new coffee joint on the corner Sct. Torillo and Sct. Fuentebella, passing by along my bike route to work. I'm a sucker for well-designed places, they have a nice brand and sleek but cozy interior all bathing in nice natural light. 👏🏽 for your design taste!
Had the truffle pasta on first visit. At P220, good enough for its value :). I would only comment that it could use more balance, its seasoned boldly, cheesy and creaminess overtakes some truffle flavor. Not that I would omit any of those, but a balancer would make the dish easier to scoop up. The buttered rolls were yummy but also tipped flavors to the already rich side. But overall, enjoyed the dish 👍🏽.
