Pepper lunch have been our choice for heavy lunch whenever we have enough money. It’s not that price friendly, but the food really tastes good.

I find that they have good quality control between different branches. I also like how you can customize your meal-- increase the amount of beef, rice or both; add cheese, egg or add sides or drinks to your meal.
I have never had trouble with their service and serving time is always prompt. It is a little pricey but I still think it's worth it. 😊
Love their Lamb mix it with their Mashed Potato.. Then add the sauce and spices!! Ola!! Even our kids loves Pepper Lunch.. Mahirap nga lang kainin habang mainit haha.. Sky loves the corn sides. Pricey pero sulit. I always order extra rice the mix it to the my sizzling plate order. Bitin kasi. Super busog and solb..
I have always been a fan of pepper lunch. Their food is pricey but I consider eating here again and again. Their food is oily but damn the taste. I love everything about it. We spent Valentines here and were both happy with our dishes. I had beef pepper rice and my guy had the bbq and hambrug. Both were yummy af 😄
Ambiance.. the place used to be big but not it's half the size. A little warm if it gets crowdy.
Service..good! The staffs were nice hihi.
Supper yummy. As always me and my Aunt keeps on coming back to this place just to eat beef. visit there store and enjoy eating while it's hot. perfect
You know what you're getting with pepper lunch at this point, and that's a good hot meal. The meat can get a bit sparse at this point, but the appeal of eating hot toasty rice on that metal pan will always be a comfort. The best move at this point is to just go jumbo, otherwise you may find the meat and rice a bit lacking.
I so love this authentic cook-it-yourself meat with rice on hot plate ever since it opened in Manila. They have evolved and reinvented their menu by adding some great variants like the curry sauce hamburger with cheesy omelette. Familiar favorites ordered were the beef pepper rice, beef pepper + curry rice, terriyaki beef rice. Cannot miss out on their shake shake salad, top favorites are tuna and kani!
The beef pepper rice is my staple dish whenever I dine here. It's definitely an all-in-one hot meal, which I sometimes complete with a side of their delish kani salad. I also love their honey garlic sauce, as it blends well with the beef, rice and corn. :)
The ambience here is nice compared to pepper lunch express areas, it is a huge place. I like the idea of putting pillows on the chair areas, it makes it a homey environment perfect for chillaxing or having a meeting. They also have different combos were you can add drinks and desserts to your orders. What I like about pepper lunch is you can control how you cook your meat and add seasonings depending on your taste buds. The serving is also big and value to your money.
Last time I had Pepper lunch was...about 2 years ago. Yes! That long. I remember I used to go all the way to Trinoma or Robinson's Place Manila just to get a taste of the Beef pepper rice that I loved so much. So today we couldn't figure out where to eat and ended up here. Somehow I found the beef pepper rice to be too much peppery. Yes it was piping hot so. i really couldn't get myself to eat it so fast. But still the flavor was there. The mashed potato I didn't like.

First time dining in here, place looks nice and modern.
I got the double salmon terriyaki and bonus meal miso soup + large ice team.
Ice tea was so-so.
The Miso soup despite the grotesque appearance actually tasted normal. The fried tofu skins actually made a different impact and I actually like it. The slight crispness of the tofu skins while sipping the miso soup feels great.
The double salmon terriyaki was ok, could improve more, but its actually good. More terriyaki sauce is needed, the taste of the terriyaki sauce was good in a sense that it wasnt too sweet, nor too salty.
The vegtables needed to be cooked IMO, it didn't go well with the hot rice being tasteless and all.
The salmon was fried perfectly, no hint of extra fishyness like most restaus serve. And the skin also tasted great, the slight traces of fish fat made it perfect with rice. The extra pepper on the fish also gave it an extra kick of flavor, love it!
Overall would recommend the place. Would drop by again for some of their dishes if I'm in the area again.
I visit Pepper Lunch everytime I need to eat a heavy meal. Fast service even if they have many customers.
The price is a bit high but food is good.
I order either their Salmon Pepper Rice with cheese and Curry Beef Pepper Rice. Mix the meat, corn, and rice together, then add your preferred sauce. Everything just goes well in one plate. It's definitely a good place to eat for satisfying your hungry stomach.
One thing I noticed is that sometimes they forget the cheese if the order is to go.
There's nothing like a hot plate to make food more delicious. Food, however humble or simple, is 10x more satisfying when piping hot. I ordered Salmon Pepper Rice, Iced Tea, and the "Goma" Black Sesame Ice Cream. The sesame ice cream was especially interesting.

My Mom and I went here this afternoon and the food tasted great 😁👌🏼We both ordered Curry rice with Double Hamburg and I must say though the serving was significantly smaller than the display but the taste didn't disappoint. The curry sauce was superb and satisfying it definitely answered my craving for Japanese food❤️ .
Also we order their Molten Lava Cake and it tasted awesome the sweetness was just on point... To bad We weren't able to order the Matcha ice cream since their machine wasn't really working perfectly that time and they even apologized properly but the experience, taste and the accommodation of the staff really impressed us.
I can't wait to return there again .
Pepper lunch is my go to eating spot at Fishermall. There's no lines and service is fast. I always get the curry beef with cheese (upsized) because I absolutely love the combination of curry, cheese and their pepper sauce. Their salmon and chicken is also great. For a quick and delicious Jap meal come eat at Pepper Lunch but be sure to bring extra clothes if you have to go somewhere afterwards as you will smell like food to your underwear. 😋👌

Me and my cousin tried their food she ordered salmon&chicken and I ordered their rib eye steak... Superb! A must try! worth of your every penny... had a good experience since they also have a very accommodating staff plus the place was really good to dine with I'll definitely go back again :)
The place was not crowded and their crew was nice so no worries about long queues. We ate beef pepper lunch (jumbo) and teriyaki beef with egg. There is no big difference between the two except for the teriyaki sauce and egg. But both are delicious and also their honey brown sauce. The iron plates kept our food warm all throughout which is a little bit off at first because food was too hot to eat. Overall stay was great! We surely visit to try other food.
Dropped by Fisher Mall yesterday without any restaurant in mind where to have lunch. Then I first went to a shoe store and located across the store is Pepper Lunch. That is why I just decided to dine in there.
Looking at the menu, I saw a special offer which is the Lechon pepper rice. Surprisingly, the meat is not fatty and the Lechon sauce was so thick and tasty. Well the specific meal stands out from the menu since the typical pepper rice is partnered with chicken, pork, & salmon.
I highly recommend this yummy dish most specially for those who love Filipino food.
Surprisingly the line here is short and the place is well designed. The staff is pretty attentive.
The water tastes a little funny. I ate the teriyaki beef pepper steak with egg (scrambled) jumbo. The portion here seems to be smaller 👎 But the taste is still the same👍
The bf and I go here on our regular dates, and the perks of eating here so often are 1.) fewer people eat here so no hassle of long lines and waiting for order and 2.) we get the best seat in the house.
At around 200 pesos, you can order the beef pepper rice and for a few more pesos, add egg with your meal. I get to eat only three-fourths of my plate, and I let my bf eat the rest. It's definitely not for people with small appetite.
You may also want to order the tasty Hamburg Steak for variety. We've tried the seasonal dishes, but these two remain our favorites.

My wife and I used to eat at Trinoma when Pepper Lunch was still new. We had to line up for 30 minutes before we get to the counter for our orders. But now, here at Fishermall... there's so line... surprisingly. But the ambiance is better in this branch. Cozy and warm. But the staff, not so much. Quite aloof.
But the food??? I can say it has declined. The taste I mean. And the portion is a bit smaller. If you want bigger, you have to pay extra. But I felt, the taste is not the same as before. I don't know why? Maybe its just me... though i will still go back. ???
Great sizzling and smoky experience. I always order the double hamburg everytime I eat in one of their resto. A little bit pricey when you add the add ons like drink, dessert and soup. Their pricing could be improved but overall good food and I like the place. Clean and organize.
