Their service is commendable indeed; they have a service buzzer so no need to fall in queue or wait until you catch the waiter's attention. The food here is delectable, no kidding. The place has a homey vibes and, of course, their restroom, which is really important to consider when eating in a restaurant, is super clean!
We ordered vegetable biryani, a tomato-based soup (forgot the name), chapati with butter and yoghurt drinks in mango and strawberry flavors. Never expected that we'd be full with such few orders. Never expected healthy eating to be this good! So good that I'd thought of switching to a vegetarian diet. Ayurvedic philosophy applied to our diets is worth checking out, if one is serious on adopting healthy, environment-friendly and cruelty-free food choices. :-) ✌
We were fortunate to have great conversation with the owners, one of whom is a colleague. Personal interaction with the owners heightened our dining experience. :-) [Bonus point: also had a chance to clarify things about India and brush up on my knowledge of Asian history. :-)]
Thank you for the warm reception, Ms Mona and Mr. Raj. We will definitely be back! :-D
The place was unassuming - simple and warm. Plain lassi and chapata were great. Palak paneer was awesome. Will definitely recommend to friends. :)
This is always my favorite restaurant when I visit Quezon city. Owners are friendly, place is coZy. And of course food is superb!
Me and my girlfriend always go here whenever we want a different taste for our dinner since a lot of restaurant foods tend to taste the same after sometime. The taste does not get us tired of it. Indians always use a lot of spices on their meals. And since it is in their religion to not eat meat, what they serve are guaranteed vegetables and therefore healthy.
WHAT WE ORDER
We always eat mix platter since it has a bread with spinach and potatoes. We like their long grain rice. Long grain rice is very rare. We have tried the prattha, which is great also but when we are hungry -- rice is a must. We then to whichever "ulam" we want: ranging from curry, lentils, etc.
NO SERVICE CHARGE
Good service without service charge and any additional dip for the mix platter has no additional charge.
PRICE RANGE
Most of the meals do not exceed P200.
Delectable and very hearty meals. Loved the vegan food idea. Four thumbs up for the samosa platter and flavored lassi!
excellent food and excellent people.
i love the food and the people serving are so hospitable.
Great authentic healthy vegetarian cuisine. Excellent service too. We will be back again too satisfy our taste of the amazing Indian cuisine.
Tamarind rice, Baingan bartha, Vegetable kofta curry, Plain lassi, and Kulfi are my favourites <3
great choice for authentic Indian Vegetarian Cuisine! thumbs Up!
We were craving for indian food so we orderrd from little india via Grab Food. We had cheese naan, plain naan, palak paneer, veggie kofta balls and Masala tea. All the items were packed well and arrived piping hot. My favorites were the palak paneer and cheese naan, while my wife loved the veggie kofta and her masala tea. Food was great especially for the price! We will definitely order again to try other dishes.
My favorite go-to place when craving for Indian food. I know its authentic bec I see Indian folks whenever I eat there. Will go back there soon!!
I think there's only a few Indian restaurants in town and so I was happy to try this place out when I passed by it. I used to eat a lot of Indian food when I was still based abroad so I was pretty excited to eat here. The restaurant is situated on the second floor of the building.
As soon as I saw the menu, I was a bit disappointed as their offerings are limited and there's no meat option. We decided to try their samosas, cheese naan and dosa set.
Samosas - very delicious filling
Cheese naan - sinful and addicting
Dosa set - the potatoes inside was flavorful but the sauces were a bit mild for my taste
Hot chocolate - tasted like the instant ones you can buy from the grocery
Sweet lassi - refreshingly good
Good shit. The indian food is legit. Their soanpapdi is my favorite. It's so addicting. I like the ambiance too for a small resto. It has less people, which I like, because I hate people.
Went here on a Thurs afternoon. The place was cozy and quiet. Service could be better, but the food was great. Been to a few Indian restaurants and I liked this better. Worth the drive. Definitely going back. 👌
It was my first time to try Indian food, so we ordered as much food as we can. They messed up my samosa chaat and gave us a samosa instead. I’m not really complaining though, because the samosa was very good! Especially the dip (I liked how sour and sweet the dip was). I’ve only ever tried the African version of the samosa a handful of times, but this one tasted quite similar despite being purely vegetarian.
The Mushroom Curry was so-so, and was a bit too watered down if you ask me, overall lacking in flavor. I was even surprised that the Veggie Meat Makhani had more curry flavors! It was so rich and creamy; I will definitely order it again next time. The Palak Paneer had quite subtle flavors compared to the Makhani. The sauce base was already cheesy, so ordering the cottage cheese version gave it overwhelming cheese notes that you’d get tired of easily.
The breads were nothing extra ordinary, save for the cheese naan. This one was an absolute homerun for me.
The place was a bit crowded and was a tad bit too hot for an air-conditioned place, but overall, I loved the visit. The food was good and had a good value for money. Will definitely visit again soon.
Little india is absolutely the best for vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian people!!!!! We come here at least once a week for our cheese naan and mango lassi fix. If you want to eat affordable and authentic indian food around QC, this is the place for you.
First time at an Indian place and at a vegetarian restaurant, though I have been exposed to Middle Eastern / Mediterranean food and I don't shy away from veggies. My friend and I chose this place since it was a Lenten Friday and I couldn't have meat, but she wanted a place that had a good ambiance for talking. So we ended up walking to Little India and I got really excited because this is the type of place Paul would shy away from because he wants MEAT (and he's on keto right now anyway). So my friend and I ordered a starter platter which had a samosa and some fritters made of mushroom, I believe. Quite sulit, but I wish there were 2 samosas. Then, we had the mushroom curry. I was surprised that it was all just button mushrooms, but sauce-wise, it was very good and tasted very authentic (not that I have any comparison yet). For the quality and quantity, I think we paid a fair price. But I'd like to try out other dishes next time, too.
Good food, affordable price and consistent taste. Service is a bit slow. Maybe the staff is not enough. So, just chill, enjoy the company or just rest from the heat.
The food is good, and they offer a decent selection of Indian food. Service is really quick, which is great. Will definitely come back when I'm craving Indian food.
The food are great, but we’re hoping for a more Indian hue to the taste — perhaps they were playing safe with the taste to match the Filipino tastebuds?
I just wish all the items are available though, cause some were not available when we visited.
As the gf was craving for Indian food, we found this small restaurant along Malingap in Teacher’s Village.
It’s located on the second floor of a small building and once we entered the place, I saw a sign saying “No meat allowed”. I asked the waitress if it’s a vegetarian restaurant and she said yes. The thought of eating in a place with no meat didn’t excite me at all. No meat? Come on. But hey, we’re here so let’s give it a shot.
Gf ordered because I wasn’t familiar with Indian food and I didn’t like to order anything because I was watching my food intake. She ordered a Chapati Set (Php 165, whole wheat flat bread served with curried chickpeas and spiced potatoes). Food came fast and I asked if I could try some.
You know what, it’s pretty ok. The chickpeas in curry tasted good and the spices used on the potatoes were pretty good as well. I always thought of vegetarian food being boring and bland but this wasn’t. The spices were a bit mild though and I think it would be better if they turn it up a notch. Overall, not disappointed with this little vegetarian joint.
i went to india last year and ive been craving for authentic indian food in the metro. little india was so spot on, super same flavors and spices!!!!
Not a fan of vegetarian food but I enjoyed my experience with Little India. My friends and I came on peak hours - which we did not expect since it's holy week, fortunately we scored a seat perfect for us.
We ordered Samosa (their version of Empanada) and Mix platter as starters and it did not disappoint. Loved the big serving of Samosa and the different combination of the platter. Just the right taste to start your palette for the main course. I ordered Kofta Paneer - I played safe with ny order but luckily I enjoyed it with my Naan Cheese which is a best seller on their menu. We also got Chapati Set ehich is like a value meal that has beans, potatoes and flat bread in one.
The place very small "true to their name - LITTLE" and very hot - I think their aircon was not functioning well, considering it is very very very hot outside and the place was full of diners. Service was okay, not fast but not too slow - they had I think 2 servers only but their efficient. Price was okay, affordable and worth it.
Place is simple but the food is great and prices are fair. More home cooking in character. Not too many staff so be patient with service. Indian food is a dice roll in Manila but this place is a safe bet unless you really need meat.
Been here only once, it's only been 2 weeks since I got to Manila. Ordered a thali and sweet lassi. Servings can be a lil small in size. I ended up ordering extra chapathis. Rice felt overcooked. Overall the food tasted closest to a typical Indian meal so far with my stay here. I'll definitely visit em again to try some more Indian dishes. Service was quick

The Masala chai. It is so good, so authentic.
The Paratha is also good. The biryani, however, not so much. Also love their samosa. We keep coming back to this place. The only reason why it is 4 stars instead of 5 is that the quantity of oil is inconsistent. Some days it is rather oily while during others it is perfect. The servers are polite, courteous, prompt, and the place is never too crowded.
This is a hidden Indian gem, imho. I highly recommend the palak paneer with a side of tea. The lassi was very refreshing too. They have a great selection of dishes which will surely keep you coming back for more. If this place was near me, I would consider being a vegetarian. I just with their portions were a bit bigger or filled with protein and not just the stew or the soupy parts.
Great option in the area for vegans/vegetarians. Service is always great. Knowledgeable and polite staff. Their naan and other baked goods are always freshly made.
Serves vegan choices. It took a while to adjust to the taste of their food, though it's mainly because I'm not used to eating Indian food. As already suggested before, you should try their cheese naan and mushroom masala. I suggest to order your masala with average and above spiciness level. Mine was mild and I barely tasted any spiciness. People not into spicy foods can order theirs with mild level. Cheese naan is best eaten while it's hot. I also ordered samosa chaat and let's just say i'm not a fan. I guess, the samosa chaat is unusual to filipino tongue. Imagine a heavily spiced food where sourness is winning. It's really unusual, so I can't fully say if it's bad or good. As for dessert, I ordered the gulab jamun. Not sickly sweet, but you do need a sweet tooth to fully appreciate it. I also ordered their mango lassi. Love it so much. It really tastes like a creamy yakult with an unusual (not bad) aftertaste.
Little India serves good quality Indian food. They serve pure vegetarian/vegan food but very tasty and rich in flavors. They follow Ayurvedic practices in their food preparation, that is why they don’t use onion and garlic in their food. Plus, food prices are very affordable. Been here for 3x already, and would definitely come back again.
Tucked away in a quiet Quezon City neighborhood, Little India is an authentic vegetarian Indian restaurant serving healthy food. Despite of not using garlic and onions in their preparations, their food is delightfully good. The chapatis are just as good as the home cooked ones. Quality of ingredients is top notch and staff is friendly.
It's been a long time since I visited Little India. We ordered a lot of dishes (just for 3 people) since most of the dishes were affordable. I really liked their samosas! Even though I don't remember what we ordered (it was mostly just pointing out food), I wanna go back to try their other dishes. I also took their desserts to-go for my family to try. The desserts were a bit sweet but still good to try especially if you've never tried Indian desserts!
Had a sudden craving for Indian food. Checked google suggestions and immediately drove all the way from Novaliches to here. Ambience looks nice, AC area is cool enough. Ordered the sweet lassi and its the same as i tasted back when I was in India. We tried their Thali and Paneer and they are good. Altho you may need a bit of a salt for the paneer to enhance the taste. As for the rice — i asked gor butter to top it off yet they dont offer any. Overall, food is good and location is accessible
I have been craving for Indian food since I went to India. I was looking for the nearest Indian Restaurant and Little India serves great food (if you're vegetarian) and ambience (if you're into a chill place). 👌
As per location, it's just one tricycle away from Philcoa, Commonwealth which will just cost you 20php going there.
The place isn't so big as it is on the 2nd floor but it has a clean and nice vibe. You can choose between their AC room or non AC.
Me and my family always go there to buy the Taj Mahal Chai (black tea). And then after will eat some Cheese Naan, Thali, Chapatis, etc. They also have little spices which they sell.
Service is good. And the staff are very friendly and accommodating. As it is a VEGETARIAN only place, I do hope that they will make another branch that will serve also Chicken and Muttons. 😊 (but that's me!)
Well recommended! 👍
Went here last Sunday (April 15). The place was nice. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Food was great. Will definitely come back and try other dishes.
Had an "Indian Food" phase that lasted for a few months. So I hunted down good restaurants to satisfy the addiction. Most restaurants I've been to are very expensive. Some impress, some meh.
This restaurant so far, has been the most affordable.
Depending on what you order, some stuff are amazing, some just okay. I think it's because the taste of some dishes is not something the Filipino palette is used to. 'Course I can't speak for everyone on this, just speculating.
I loved their palak paneer, but noticed that the taste isn't totally cosistent. I hope they maintain the high standard, because their well made palak paneer is excellent.
Loved as well the... fried soy dish that kinda resembles sisig. I can't find its name in the menu, but it's excellent. Crispy and savory, medyo parang sisig dating.
Theyre sweet lassi is good too, very refreshing. My brother says it seems to resemble a Yakult-like milkshake.
Try also the muton mushroom masala, paired with naan.
And their vegetable biryani! Really good.
Overall, pretty good place. I highly recommend you ask the ladies recommended dishes so you're assured of good meals.
The first indian restaurant I've visited, after visting almost all indian restaurants in Metro Manila I could say this is the most affordable yet quality tasting indian food among the other restaurants. The owners are very humble and accomodating and the staff are approachable. Hoping fof it to branch out!
I visited this place yesterday. Food was authentic genuine Indian food. Taste was good. Services were good & on reasonable price.. Must go ..!
Heard about this little place from a friend, being a natural lover of anything curry! Of course had to try it out. In a word, brilliant!
The whole experience was flavoursom and the vegetarian option makes it a very healthy one.
Brokebread on various curries had an awesome time.
Diners this is a 'to go' place
Bon apetite
Noted on the description 'cash only' however ccard accepted.
I love how simple they are, from food to interiors. I love their desserts. Yogurt drink is thick and flavorful. Perfect restaurant if you want to taste Indian food with a cheaper price.

Simply good.
Food- i love their aloo chapati and lassi. Healthy foods!
Place- really homey and religiously inclined as there is a picture of the baby lord krishna. Plus wifi!
Staffs- very kind and accomodating.
Lots of plant-based options. 🌱
Simple place, and good food. 👍
Nice place when you are craving for an Indian Food. 🥘 The veggie meat curry is a must try. 😋
Love the food here. It's really cozy and has wifi. The servers are nice and the place has a homey vibe. My family and I love the vegetarian/vegan-friendly meals that they offer! The place also sells veggie meat which we do buy on a regular basis and it's great quality. Their non-dairy hot chocolate is my fave drink here. Also, I really recommend their veggie chicken rice. It's soooo gooood. Most of their food are spicy but you can request for the spice to be lessened or removed. Absolutely one of my most favorite restaurants!
Best vegan food I have ever tried. I had the Poori set and the Rose yogurt drink. The food was really great and tasteful. The yogurt drink was very refreshing and sweet pero it's not nakakaumay. The crew's also very very friendly. The place does not have airconditioning though and it's relatively small, but the food is worth putting up with the heat.
The place is nice and simple ambiance is also good.. the looks authentic i might say. The food there is there is really to try for they are all made from veggies so its healthy and delicious for some other meals you wouldnt even think that it doesnt have any meat.. my fave for all time is the masala chai its to die for!! Its gives happiness when i drink that i also love their samosas basically everything that they i love! Price wise it very affordable that i can eat here everyday.. i love the way that did not over priced everything just because its healthy because now adays its kindly costly to stay healthy with all the pricey organic stuff but here you can go healthy without having you pockets go dry.. plus the staff they very courteous and very accommodating they would actually explain what you are ordering and and if you buy their products they give a brief description on where you can use it above all i feel in love with this place so i highly would recommend this!! :)
BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT here in the PH!! Me and my friends eat here weekly! No sawa, promise.
Must try their:
Palak paneer 😋
Palak pakora
Dal makhani
Mushroom mutter masala 😋
Rose lassi 😋
😋 = Best!
Ate rayname (server) is super duper awesome! Fast service and their staffs are very friendly.😄
Wonderful food. Loved the typical Indian cuisine. Must recommend: Samosa, Dal Makhani, Kulfi, Gulab Jamun.
The hospitality of the owner was commendable. Loved visiting the place.
If you are expecting a restaurant vibes, this is not for you. It looks like a carinderia tho they serve authentic Indian cuisines. The owner is very hands on in terms of managing the area. He is accommodating too.
Little gem located at Malingap. I say, I was introduced late to this resto. Head's up though, this is a vegan resto.
Samosa. My fave here is their Samosa, I can have that for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I won't have complaints. It comes with two kinds of dip and one is spicy and since I love everything spicy, that is a huge win for me. When you combine those two dips, the Samosa tastes so good you'll want more even when you're already full.
Also, their Paneer Pakora (a bread/ flour covered fritters) and Chicken Fried Rice is a definite must try. The veggie meat tastes like the real thing which even a person who is not a vegan will like (unless you're a die hard meat lover who does not want anything to do with anything vegan).
Ambience. Could use some more lighting because it was a little dark for me. I like that their dining area got those little buttons you press to call for a server.
Service. A little slow if they have lots of customers but expect that already since I asked and they said they only have two cooks who also does the serving straight from the kitchen. But their food is worth it.
It was my first time eating Indian food, and as recommended by my vegetarian friend, we headed here one afternoon. I like the simple ambiance, and the food tasted good.
I love this place. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 is because they asked how spicy I wanted things, I said spicy, and it was lacking. Otherwise the flavors are great. Prices are reasonable. As a meat eater I didn't miss it, although the next day I did need a steak for lunch. Get the samosas, get one of the naan sets, and enjoy. The veggie meat was kinda wierd so I suggest sticking with the veggies / mushrooms.
Brought a vegetarian customer over who came from india. He says it is pretty authentic! I had him choose the dishes because he is clearly the expert between the two of us. First time i tried cheese (paneer) served in a stew!
I've lived in Singapore for 5 years and survived on Indian food for 1/5 of my life.
I thought I knew all there is to know about Indian food but this place teaches me something new every time I come back.
DISCLAIMER: The food is not what you expect.
Normally, Indian cuisine is very heavy on onions and garlic, this place though uses ZERO onion ZERO garlic ( it's a religious thing), meaning the flavor of everything is COMPLETELY different. Don't expect anything on the menu to taste like the Indian food you're familiar with.
This place doesn't seek to impress, I mean its a friggin vegetarian restaurant. The ambiance is nothing fancy, kinda like eating at home, and can only seat 30 maybe 40 max. There's usually only 3 people on staff at any given time. 1 in the kitchen, 1 waitress, and the owner helping them out, SO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD don't bring 20 of your friends here at the same time! ( at least call them and pre-order if you have to)
MUST TRY:
Palak Pakora
Tamatar Sorba
Mushroom Makhani
Korma ( honestly all the Korma)
Baingan Bharta
Pulav Rice ( this takes everything to the next level)
Extra: Whatever their special of the day is
Honestly everything on the menu is awesome, although some items can be more shocking than others. Also don't forget to indicate how spicy you want your food to be.
Summary: This place is awesome. Admittedly, its not perfect, but all its imperfections are what makes this place perfect, if that makes any sense. You don't have to be a hardcore vegetarian to appreciate what they do here, but carnivores, fancy people, and big groups better have 2nd thoughts.
Great authentic vegetarian Indian cuisine. It's hard to find veg friendly places in Manila, and this place is definitely a goldmine! They also indicate their vegan options on the menu. Samosas are delicious, love their vegetable kofta and Aloo Gobhi! I just wish they would add at least one vegan dessert to their menu 😩 Great pricing, great flavors, healthy... what more can you ask for?
Love this place!! I love Indian food, and this was very authentic. Coming from the States I grew up eating Indian food a lot, and I appreciate it a lot more than most locals! I hope one day this place is embraced by everyone because it really is the best :)
The Best Indian Herb Foodie 👍🏼 Hands up for the twist. Really love the yogurt rose supeeer.
Also thanks for the Great Service 💯
the candies arethe bomb 🎉
Why does on sunday zomato not deliever even through restraudent is open??I also talked to helpline but still no any correction. I am not happy with this type of service by zomato.
I am not familiar with Indian cuisine myself but went here with an Indian guest. We ordered a lot of dishes so we Filipinos get oriented with Indian dishes. Our guest was very satisfied with what this Indian restaurant offerred. He said the taste of the dishes are authentic Indian!
Personally, I really liked the Shahi Paneer (cottage cheese) and the Mango Lassi (yoghurt).
The minus point for this resto is that it took a very long time for them to serve the food, despite the fact that not a lot of patrons were present when we visited during lunch.

Prologue
My friend wanted to sate his palate with some Indian food, while I was curious about what said food tastes like.
Food 4/5
I was able to distinguish between different types of spices, each of which was delicious, and I love how they also have options for vegans. One of their desserts — looks like rock candy, feels like cotton candy in my mouth, had spices but was very sweet — my mind couldn't comprehend; the only thing keeping me from giving a perfect score is the price which, while reasonable I suppose, is a definite barrier to the experience.
Service 5/5
Crew were very polite and friendly, and they were very prompt in delivering our food.
Ambiance 3/5
While I love the murals and the soft music, ultimately it was very minimalist.
Final score: 4 out of 5
Epilogue
My tummy wants me to go back and treat it to a taste of Nirvana once again.
We liked it, felt we are eating healthy food because most of the food are vegetarian... If not all.
We ordered the appetizer platter just to taste the samosas and other deep fried appetizers, which we liked. It wasn't too oily, the sauce that comes with it reminds of tamarind.
We also ordered the spiced yoghurt with puffed out balls out of curiousity in the appetizer menu, but found it.. Like we were eating cereal puffs with yoghurt milk... Either that or we didn't mix it well enough.
We also ordered the mild curry, which was mild, not spicy at all, and paired it with buttered nana and cheese paneeka. The curry was better paired with the nana, though you can also just eat the paneeka on its own.
We ordered mint lassi and strawberry lassi in case we can't handle the heat... Well, they are yogurt shakes hehe we think that the strawberry lassi tasted better than the mint, though the mint lassi was a bit creamier (more yogurt milky than mint) than its strawberry counterpart (more strawberry than milk).
Out of curiosity, we also tried the dessert, brown cheese balls in sweet syrup... The warm sauce reminds us of yema, and the cheese balls didn't taste like cheese at all. More like... Soft chewy bread in a yema-like sauce.
The place was a bit small, but don't get deceived because I think the price was just right for its food. The staff was very courteous and helpful.
When I was in college, I used to buy samosas in this amazing Indian grocery store along UN Avenue in Manila. I've been craving samosas for years now, but my fear of Manila traffic overrides my cravings. Thankfully, I found Little India! Their samosas are even better than the ones I used to buy at that grocery store. Their tamarind chutney is a little too sour for me, but the samosas are fantastic.
I also sampled their desserts. All of them except the two kinds of milk balls, which I wasn't too fond of. The desserts were lovely! The flavor was nicely balanced, and they weren't too sweet. I even liked the carrot dessert, which tasted like a lightly spiced pudding. I'm definitely going back for that. The soanpapadi was crumbly, which I didn't expect. The texture was like furry polvoron, or maybe dry otap. It feels strange at first, but then it melts in your mouth like a creamy cotton candy, and it tastes lovely.
Their kulfi (Indian saffron ice cream), however, is definitely an acquired taste. It tastes like the smell of a man's perfume. The saffron gives it a musky, savory flavor, and the spices give it a taste that I don't normally associate with dessert. It was just odd to have those flavors with thick, sweet ice cream. The thick texture was interesting, though.
I also ordered their naan plate, which came with chickpea curry and spiced potatoes. It was okay. The chickpea curry tasted a little bland and flat (it probably would have tasted better if they had used chicken stock, but it's a vegetarian restaurant). It didn't have the rich taste I was looking for. The spiced potatoes were nice enough. The whole thing was a little unsatisfying, though. I was full from all the carbs, but I still felt like something was missing. Looks like vegetarianism is not the lifestyle choice for me. :)
All in all, Little India is a good restaurant. It's nice and clean, and the quality is at par with what you'd expect of a place in the Maginhawa-Malingap area. Pricing is good, considering how rare Indian food is in QC. I'm definitely going back for their samosas, and to try their lassi and spinach paneer. I'm even looking forward to trying their gulab jamun and rasogulla (syrup-soaked milk balls). But if you're a meat-lover who's looking for a hearty, satisfying meal, then this probably isn't the place for that.
My third visit to this place and it's still phenomenal as ever. This place is completely vegetarian. All senses will be tingled, smell and taste especially.
Tips:
-For solo riders, they have platters so you can get a variety.
-Don't get rice unless you really want. Despite being an Indian place, they don't have basmati rice. Their chapatis and naans (flat breads) are good enough paired with the dishes they have here
-Always ask spicy levels for all dishes. My mom has ulcer so we had to make sure her dishes weren't spicy.
-Mango lassi is the bomb. Cheaper than most place too.
Celebrated Diwali Festival last night in Little India. They're claiming that they serve authentic and healthy Indian cuisines. We must say that we enjoyed the food. We'll surely return!
I looove all their dishes, especially the unique desserts. The service is a bit slow but the food is worth the wait. Don't skip on their amazing homemade chili oil. I could eat vegetarian Indian meals everyday.
Went here a little while back with some Indian colleagues (quite hard for us to look for a place in the area that can cater to their diet! This was perfect since it's for vegetarians.) while touring them around the city, and I think they liked it (they ravished their food!). Since this place wasn't listed in Zomato back then, I forgot about uploading anything about the experience. Little India is simple, but I believe it is authentic as the owner (or the person who greeted us, at least) is legit and he actually conversed with our colleagues. The food was a new experience, quite different from Indian fusion dishes in more mainstream restaurants. Tried a milk drink and found it weird, though. It was a good experience in trying something more authentic, overall. If you (and your stomach) are looking for something different and open to trying new dishes and closer-to-original tastes, try Little India
Being a big fan of Indian Cuisine, Little India is a Godsend. At first it was hard adjusting to a menu that doesn't feature meat, But I kept on finding myself coming back for their deliciously cooked food. I highly recommend their vegetable kofta curry and their Palak Paneer. Their Samosa tastes heavenly, we used to go to their Los Baños location just to taste the samosas. I left Little India knowing that I'll come back as soon as I can to taste the rest of their menu.
My good friend and I are fond of middle-eastern and south Asian food. Out of curiosity, we tried here. To be honest, I was surprised that they only serve vegetarian food. Although I was the only one surprised--my friend kind of expected that to be.
Does anyone here know Khas Foodhaus in UP? They have a similar menu minus the meat (they serve meat in Khas) + pricier (the food in Khas is a little bit cheaper). I have never been to India before, so I don't know really know what authentic Indian food tastes like, but my friend said the food tastes LEGIT.
The place is not that big but I think it can accommodate like 20-25 people. :) I have already forgotten the names of the dishes we had but seriously the taste is oh so yummy. We also tried their drink called Lassi and it's very refreshing. I'm recommending the Rose flavor.:)

This Indian restaurant in right in front of my apartment. I have the perfect view of their kitchen. Love all the vegetarian food. The pakoras and samosas are so good. They have nice desserts too including Indian ice cream.
