By far one of the best spring rolls I’ve had here in the ph that is near to how the spring rolls in BKK tastes like. Had been here twice and they never dissapoint.
Pad thai: this now tops my pad thai list!!!! Big shrimps, you can really taste the seafood in there. Very flavorful sauce with the perfect nutty and herby hints. Serving size looks like it could feed 4 persons!
Pandan chicken: 5 pieces of chicken wrapped in pandan. You can really taste the pandan and other flavors even inside the chicken. Super soft meat. Pandan is deep fried with the chicken so I can actually eat the leaf (tastes like chips!) Has some veggies at the side and sweet and sour sauce as dip.
Overall resto verdict: Accomodating staff, great ambience, food service time is fast, tables are big and comfortable chairs, lighting is great for pictures, food serving size is huge, price is very reasonable, too, even without Zomato Gold. Recommended! Would eat here again.

Good food. Very tasty. A bit pricey but zomato gold so bawi lang. :P
I was quite surprised with this new restaurant in Vertis North. We chose it at random, and luckily, had the best dinner choices. My friends and I ordered a plate of Pad Thai, Papaya Salad and Tom Yum. Everything was just delicious! Each dish was a crowd favorite.
The Pad Thai had the right levels of sweet and salty. I loved that it had generous amounts of chicken, peanuts, noodles, the works. The Tom Yum was also savory. It had just the right heat and kick. Plus the seafood medley was generous too. The Papaya Salad is also a delish side dish and was a great palate cleanser. It had a good mix of sweet and tangy flavors that really complemented our orders. For 3 pax, I think we only paid under P1,000, which is a great deal! I would definitely come back here and dine in.
Thai food is yummy here, ambience is a little bit of nice but too crowdy.
For food.
Pad thai - We ordered chicken pad thai (We replaced shrimp to chicken because i'm allergic to shrimp) i like the way they can change the meat selection.
I wish they balanced the noodles, veggies and meat because for me, it's like "ulam" na or main course to be partner with rice because of big chunks of chicken instead of noodles.
Green curry chicken - i almost laugh at this food, because i thought it's monggo. Overall taste is very nice, just a very watery soupy meal with big chunks of avocado.
Overall experience is nice and definitely will come back to try other menus.
Perfect close-to-authentic Thai place to go to at Vertis North! They were able to cater our big group, which was around 22. Their bbq is really a must-order!
Food: 5/5
Service: 4/5
Zomato Gold Experience: 3/5
Ambiance/Cleanliness: 4/5
The food was good and the servings huge. I liked the chicken and beef dishes but I wasn’t a fan of the noodles. There is a separate menu for Zomato users which was kind of annoying. They also had me fill out a small piece of paper for the Zomato Gold details (not a big deal but this was the first time that I had to do it). Also, I didn’t feel too welcomed when they found out I was a Zomato user (which changed after I ordered things from the main menu). Finally, they made a billing error and didn’t deduct the free dish - but they immediate revised after I mentioned it. Still a good dining experience all things considered.
Huge portions, super fast serving time.
I don't really eat spare ribs but their BBQ Spare Ribs is something I always look forward to whenever we eat here. It's tender and flavorful.
The food is delicious specially their Pad Thai and staff are friendly as well. The only downside is the long waiting time, we waited 1 hour.
I’m not Thai but I love Thai food especially if it reminds me of my home, L.A. You see, Thai BBQ Original Restaurant really brings back memories of the original one on West 3rd Street in Los Angeles founded in 1978. The portions were healthy and delicious. The one in Vertis North doesn’t stray too far either. The bbq chicken served with shrimp fried rice was very good. The soup, Tom Kha Gai was very good though I had to had chilli oil and paste for a little kick. The Tom Kha Gai In LA serves the soup spicy. The satay was also good. The meat was somewhat tender and I really didn’t need the peanut sauce for dipping. The food came to us fairly quickly.
Keep in mind, although it reads “authentic”, you can definitely find more authentic Thai restaurants elsewhere in Manila. I just like this one because it reminds me of home.
Interior design: nice though a bit cold due the air conditioner on full blast
Service: very good
Ambiance: nice
Price was reasonable. Ordered
meat satay, spring rolls, papaya salad, vegetable curry and rice. Food tastes really good. They taste exactly like the ones you can eat in Thailand. Very authentic 👌🏻 You can really get your money’s worth.
They accept reservations which is a plus
point. Everything was served within 15 minutes. I will definitely choose this place again every time Im in the area.
We were in Ayala Vertis North and Thai BBQ Original was conveniently among the list of Zomato Gold restaurants available back then.
Not much of a Thai food fan back then, I was converted after having gone to this restaurant. Everything was delicious and served quickly. I just wished that they calmed down with the air conditioning of the entire place. It was freezing inside the branch even if I drank hot water already.
Their Sate combination dishes and BBQ Pork Belly are must tries!
First tried their Glorietta branch. Although I am not generally fond of Thai food, I enjoyed their dishes. I was happy to find out there was a branch in Vertis North. I was able to try more dishes. So far I haven't been disappointed yet. Their services is fast and their food is delicious. Their rice dishes, and pad thai are just a few of my favorites. Whenever I am asked what resto in Vertis I would recommend, Thai BBQ is always my no. 1 suggestion.
The Thai Pork and Chicken barbeque are so good. The meat is so soft and the flavor sip in . The green curry is good too but I suggest cut it in bigger sizes coz its not visible around the eggplant and less sauce please. The fried grouper with the sweet sauce is perfect! The spring rolls taste good too.
Try their drinks too. Its a bit pricey though.
I noticed that these branch chains have been sprouting all over the Metro for early this year and I've been meaning to try Thai cuisine again with my girlfriend. She was game to try the branch in Vertis North so we went to spent our late lunch there.
Note that this is a family restaurant so meals are at that price since it's a For Sharing for 2 or 3 people at most. We picked the Pad Thai and Chicken BBQ which recommended by the wait staff.
We were surprised by our reactions of amazement as we did not research prior to this restaurant visit yet we were impressed that we enjoyed our meal and got to finish it it with a clean plate. Hopefully the chef and his team noticed that just two people were able to clean out two entrées of sizeable portions. A subtle compliment to the cooking.
The Pad Thai looked very appetizing and flavorful. There was an added crunch to every bite as there were some tid bit shrimps that were thrown into the plate. I liked the seasoning and tenderness of the BBQ chicken and a good go-to viand for your visit to this estalishment. We coupled our dishes with some refreshments. We went for the fruit shakes to cool off from the weather outside.
Overall, we think that it was a very good experience to reignite the flavor Thai cuisine through visiting Thai BBQ Original Restaurant.
We went here today for our Father's Day lunch. We had satay combination, Gai Yang (half bbq chicken), phad thai and assorted thai seafood curry. The servings were generous. The satay combination and Gai Yang are served with shrimp fried rice. The shrimp fried rice is good for 2 persons. The satay was cooked perfectly. The Gai Yang was really flavorful while the pad thai was so yummy as well. My favorite was the seafood curry. We ordered the mild version since my mom and I can't handle spicy food as well as my dad and husband. The seafood was cooked perfectly. The squid was so tender. I can't get enough of the sauce. The service was quick and the staff was very attentive. I can't wait to try their other food items.
Ordered Phad Thai noodles, Chicken BBQ and fried shrimps. I can say this is one of the best Thai restaurants I have tasted in the metro. The Phad Thai was not overcooked, had lots of garnishings and flavour. The chicken BBQ was succulent and it's one of their best sellers! Try the shrimps if you want a crunchy appetizer. Good value for good food, also good for sharing (3 pax). Will definitely go back to this resto!
Felt overwhelmed with their menu. Price is very affordable. Serving is good for sharing. Must try their pad thai, tom yum, green curry, grilled chicken. Wishing for a fresh spring roll.

Love the quiet ambiance. I was able to peacefully enjoy my meal. Big servings. Yummy food. Friendly service. A must try for those who want to eat healthy happy food in QC!
Food is good but the duck can be juicier...
I love the bagoong rice and the satae...😊😊😊
Service is just okay, can be warmer.. some of the crew doesn’t smile.
Good food. Generous servings. Courteous staff. My faves: Bbq Spareibs Dinner, Spring Rolls, Tod Mun Goong Shrimp Cakes, Yum Pla Dook Foo and Sticky Rice with Mango.
Sate’s just ok. For me, chicken’s better than the pork and beef. Bbq Chicken tasted good but dry.
Restaurant interior feels crowded because chairs are too chunky for the limited space; unlike in the BGC branch, which seems to fit better.
Best Pad Thai in the metro!! Its not as dry as compared to other thai restaurants. A bit pricey but good thing Zomato has the 1+1 promo on food.
Went on a Tuesday opening at the Glorietta branch (not sure why it shows QC here) and seems like they were understaffed but the server was patient enough to handle our party and the party that just arrived even after she radioed for help.
As for the food, the Pad Thai was really delicious and a bit on the sweeter side compared to the others I've had before. The rib bbq was juicy and tender but a bit on the pricy side. Avoid the chicken bbq and grilled bangus since there's nothing special about it. The GFs dad ate all the Tom Yum so I guess it's good. The eggplant basil is a must have.
Will I be back? Maybe when I'm around the Glorietta area and have a craving for Pad Thai.
Great Thai restaurant in the metro. Their Tom Yum soup is one of the best I’ve ever tried. The flavors in the soup, especially the sweet and sour taste, marry well. Their spring rolls are also a must try. They serve deep fries beef, which was actually quite good because it was still very tender. The satay platter was worth it because it had several sticks of satay in different kinds of meat. The phad thai for me was so-so because it had a very strong smokey taste. My husband actually loved it. But overall, it was a great dining experience. I would love to come back here again.
Food is really good and tastes almost authentic. Couldn't miss a Phad Thai on a Thai restaurant and it was very good! Though the servers recommended another dish that's better than the Phad Thai but I'll just try that out next time! The servings are actually big so that's really a plus! :)
My second time using Zomato Gold for Thai BBQ resto, first one was in Shang Mall. For this branch (Vertis North), service was waaaay too slow. :( Food was obviously yummy! One of the best Thai restos in Metro that is affordable! :)
We celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday here. Food was good and staff was accommodating. ❤️ their pad thai and bbq ribs. We will definitely come back soon.
It was our first time in this Thai restaurant and I must say that we enjoyed their food. First time to try phad thai and it was great. We liked how savory it was plus they have extra chili and garlic on the side. Their bbq chicken was a bit sweet but it tasted good as well. Not really a fan of thai milk tea pero according to my boyfriend it was good naman. The service was also commendable. Our orders were served really fast and their staff were nice and polite. Zomato Gold is worth it again!
Food 8/10
Ambience 8/10
Price 7/10
Cleanliness 8/10
Pad thai was good! The shrimp was a bit undercooked but overall it was tasty. We also liked the soft-shelled crab. Not worth the price because of small serving. Nothing special in kangkong in oyster sauce. The fried spring roll was my favorite!
❤️ their Pad Thai! We Will definitely go back soon to try other dishes. BBQ chicken and ribs not bad too. Price for the food is ok. Friendly staff.
It was my first time at this place so I had my friends order us food.
I absolutely loved every single dish served.
I shall be back one of these days.
The food was good and the food was served fast. The staff are accommodating. They answered all our inquiries well. They have outdoor seats if you have a dog with you.
Cleanliness 8/10
Staff service 9/10
Food quality 7/10
Food taste 8/10
Price 7/10
I won’t mind going back because of the zomato gold. But without it, i find this restaurant a bit too pricey for the quality. Serving size is good though.
Food is very delicious. If it weren't for zomato gold, we wouldn't even try to eat here because my bf and I are not really familiar with thai food. So glad we tried here! Everything is nice, ambiance, service and food. Will definitely go back here.
Hi. Always ask what dishes for 1+1 promo. Food taste 4 stars if ulike spicy foods. Chicken curry. Eggplant. Bbq sweet with spicy sauce. Place nice n clean but no toilet (have to go outside). Price just ok for size of serving. Service accomodating and fast . Just that our server lacks smiling face and hear them chatting loud with each other.
Very delicious. Super love the pork bbq and baggong fried rice. The only down side is the house specials are not included anymore😭 hope that they will include it again next time. 😁
Love everything about this restaurant! Serving was worth it for the lrice and quality of the food is amazing. Staff were also very accommodating.
Good food & serving! Legit pad thai and tom yum! Crew could still improve on their courtesy/professionalism though :) nice, quiet ambiance. Will definitely go back! Price: okay for the serving.
Food is great! It didn’t disappoint as it tastes the same as the one I had back at Cerritos. The serving is big also which is definitely good for sharing.
The food was delicious. Got the curry and chicken and they were very good.
My only thing is that we had to ask for the bill twice since they forgot. But will come back nonetheless.
Big serving sizes, good already for sharing 2-3 people. I love the Thai Milk Tea, spring rolls and Pad Thai! Will definitely come back!!!!!!
My family has grown fascination for Thai food and the entry of Thai BBQ Original Restaurant in Philippine shores was a welcome addition to our fave choices. Aside from Gaiyang Chicken BBQ, Green Curry and Tom Yum Shrimp , the free Pad Thai Noodles completed the yummy Thai fare for a lovely dinner. Sawasdee Ka, Zomato Gold!
One of the best restaurants in vertis north, I love the idea of the food that they serve, everything was so good they are really bring the taste of thai people to the Philippines, The taste really bring us from Philippines to Thailand Especially the Thai CHICKEN BBQ and Seafood Curry and of course its not just only about the food but the people behind of Thai BBQ restaurant, people who always smile at me before and after they get my order the waiter and Waitresses of Thai BBQ Restaurant was very very sweet. I'm pretty sure that I will try another dishes from Thai BBQ soon. 😉☺️
Place is nice, has a nice sophisticated and comfortable setting.
Food is delicious and good for sharing.
Estimated (400~per person) depending on your orders.

I like this resto. It gives me a relaxing vibe when I entered because of their interiors and the design inside. The resto is spacious and can accommodate big groups as well. We tasted their Famous Bbq Chicken which is the Gaiyang Bbq Chicken, Pad Thai, Curried Pineapple Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, and Bbq Spareribs. All their food is great. My personal fave are the Bbq Spareribs and their Gaiyang Chicken. :)
We celebrated my brother's post birthday celebration as he just came back from Europe. Good thing, he chose some Asian food instead cause Im craving for one.
We ordered Phad Thai, Spring Rolls, Shrimp with chili pastes, Pandan Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork. All in all we've got 2700+php with ten plain rice. This is good for 10. I like the foods. Masarap!!! Unlike dun sa kinainan kong Thai restau. 😍 When it comes to serving medyo maliit kasi puro ala carte lang inorder namin. Medyo nabitin ako. I like the Pad Thai and Sweet and Sour Pork. Must try yun. Since yung Spring rolls and Shrimp is for appetizer lang. Masarap din yung Spring rolls, medyo magulay. All in all. Masarap!
The place is beatiful tho small. Dun sa table namin medyo maluwag, may TV pa nga pero dun sa labas parang masikip. Staffs are very busy accommodating other customer kaya medyo hindi kami napapansin sa loob. Pero ok lang. Malamig naman aircon nila.
*Size of serving is generous
*cozy, clean, staff are courteous.
*their prawn curry is really good. Prawns not overcooked
*thai iced tea is good as well
*Pork Satay was tender. 👍🏼 the serving size could feed 3 persons.
*the only thing that was a spoiler that night was the crispy oyster cake.... puro crispy batter, mabibilang mo lang si oyster 😂
*all in all, we enjoyed our dinner and will definitely come back.
I do not usually eat thai foods but me and my family enjoyed eating there 🤗 though the price range was a little bit off. Overall it was okay 😁
A must try should i say, if you are a thai food lover 😛

The pomela salad and bagoong rice are to die for. It’s really sooo good. However the pork belly bbq went overboard with the tenderizer. Over all the resto is good and worth going back for
The interior of this place was very soothing that doesn't intimidate.
We ordered Pomelo Salad, Pad Thai, Basil Chicken, BBQ Spare Ribs Dinner and Thai Iced Milk Tea. The BBQ Spareribs Dinner definitely won't disappoint. I liked that the meat were not too fatty, but at the same time still moist and juicy with its sweet honey glaze. One order could definitely feed at least two very hungry individuals. Pad thai was excellent and delicious. The food tastes very high quality, full of flavor and portions are fair. Spicy options are also available.
Serving is fast. The place is quite expensive but the food is really good! I wasn't able to take a closer photo on the food since we were discussing something but overall, I enjoyed my experience and my thai cravings were really satisfied.
Sobrang pihikan ako in terms of Thai food, pero this place, the best ung food n sinerve! Good for the fam and for friend reunion. Just make sure you’re in a budget!
Food was great! I recommend their Pad Thai Noodles, Gaiyang and BBQ Spareribs. Serving time was fast which I really did not expect. My mom enjoyed her 60th Birthday! Staff are all friendly! They all sung with us. We even got a free chocolate ice cream which my daughter enjoyed. We'll definitely come back❤️
Their food are on big servings. The ambiance of the place is nice but a bit cold during the night we had dinner, almost a week ago. Appreciated the food presentation of the Pad Thai, which tasted really nice among the Pad Thai from other local Thai restaurants, wherein the chili is separated on the side so that we can decide on how spicy we want our food to be. The tea pot used is beautiful. The staff are attentive.
Though waitlisted and took some time to be seated, the chicken bbq with shrimp fried rice platter is worth the wait. I love how the grilled chicken is juicy and flavorful complemented by the Thai chili sauce. Serving is generous and good for sharing. Will try other dishes in the next visit.
We craved for something thai last night and thai bbq offers one of the best thai food. Surprisingly, this branch is not that good. The food was served a little late. The chicken curry that we ordered contained mostly potatoes.
Feast meter:
🌟🌟🌟🌟 Tom yum goong - this is yummy, highly recommended
🌟🌟🌟 Pad thai - not extraordinary
🌟 Chicken masaman curry - not recommended
I love Thai food for its savory and spicy flavors. Decided to try this place out. Too bad I was alone so I couldn't order a lot of things, so I just settled for the Chicken Pandan and Phad Thai.
I must say that both dishes were so flavorful! Both came in generous serving portions. The Chicken Pandan was really well done, crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside...almost like the perfect less-crispier version of the famous Jollibee Chickenjoy without the skin but Pandanized. The mildly spicy Pandan flavor was a feast for the senses. A burst of flavor + juicy texture = perfect chicken. The Phad Thai also did not disappoint. There were a lot of things going on with the dish...which I love. I enjoyed the different textures from the bean sprouts, crushed peanuts, chilli, shrimp, tofu and the rice noodles. The red onion, leaks and lemon grass worked well into the dish.
Overall, I am satisfied. However, one thing was missing from all of these dishes - where was the heat? I was looking for that signature Thai spice that brings on the heat yet makes me crave for more. I hope they give customers the option of adjusting the spice levels to their liking. Other than that, I think I'll want to go back to this restaurant, hopefully with more company so that I get to taste their signature dishes. (The servings are too much for 1 person)
My friend suggested this restaurant so we tried it tonight. Their Pad Thai and Gaiyang were so yummy! I’m allergic to shrimps so I politely asked the waiter for it have to be removed and they replaced it with chicken instead. Serving of each dishes are good for sharing for 2-3 pax.
Giving a 4.5 rating because the restaurant is too cold. But aside from that, the whole place is clean and the booth tables are big enough for 4 pax.

Write Up #1 for 2018! Exceptional service and quality of food is great when we had our lunch here. Average cost is P600/pax. Our group of 7 had a pleasant lunch and had to personally give commendation to their supervisor since my folks enjoyed the overall experience. One note I mentioned to them is that their Ruamit (Thai Halo-Halo P420) served needs minor improvement because one of the ingredients in this sweet treat is too hard to chew. Must be the undercooked kamote (sweet potato).
Must try:
Pad Thai P420
Papaya Salad P280
Ordered 9 items, but these two are some popular Thai dishes and have to say they pulled off to give an authentic Thai taste and flavor. I won’t mind giving another visit and try more.
We had dinner before hitting the movies a few weeks ago. Was supposed to eat in Yabu, and hubby decided to try it out. Well Thai BBQ didn't disappoint, service was good, the place was packed so they gave us the outdoor dining table, and since it was quite chilly, there was no problem for us. Food was great I loved their kangkong with crispy belly, Pad Thai, sorry I forgot the name of the soup, it's kinda white in color with coconut. Also had the 3 satay combo.. Overall dining experience was good! Definitely coming back since I love Thai food👍
