Great show 5/5. Big food servings 4/5. I enjoyed the show so much that i've stayed from 7pm to 12mn just to watch the show in its entirety. The food has big servings but average in taste. If there is a little improvement overall then it would be the food. Nonetheless, great hangout place for friends and family.

We ordered 2 pasta, 1 pizza, 1 chicken and draft beers for the drinks. The food is kinda pricey but when the show started, trust me! It is worth it.

Aside from the food, we also enjoyed the unlimited photo-ops, the place itself and the fascinating performances from the live actors. Bonus part, they are all friendly!

I went here with my family twice - once during lunch and the other one is during dinner just to see the show.

I liked everything we ordered - very flavorful, big in serving and has food choices has variety. I personally liked the potato ganocchi and the carbonara with brocolli, super creamy. I also liked the Maleficent strawberry cake, consistency of the cake was good and hindi sya madalinh mag-crumble.

Location wise - I think the location is okay but dadayuhin mo pa talaga sa north. It would be strategically okay of around Mandaluyong area.
Service - their menu is viewable sa ipads connected on the tables, easier to navigate because of the tabs. The staff will just confirm if tama ba yung na-input mo.

The show naman sa gabi was really good. Nag-enjoy not only the kids but kami din adults!

Sulit din ang bayad!

We had a great night in this place. Such a fun experience with my family. The staffs were so friendly. We were able to watch the live performances and saw different characters too. We love the food though it's a bit pricey but worth it because of the ambiance, the entertainment and the service that we had. Will surely be back again soon. šŸ’•

What a place! Its a place for family and friends to dine and be entertained. Venue is conviently located within quezon city area. You just have to deal with parking spaces.. quite a walk if its at the Eton centris steel parking, but a bonus if you can score a spot at the limited basement parking of the centris mall. The place was well lit, bright, spacious, they have function rooms at the sides. The stage was topnotch. One can still view the show even if seated at different areas. Of course best ones are in the middle up near the front. Food is good, not bland, very generous with serving. Drinks are pricy but not complaining. With the food plus the show that starts at 7pm, each lasting for about 15-20min and succeeding shows every 30 min, its all worth it. With 5 shows a night.. I have to say thats something. With a very picky, and hard to impress family, no negative thoughts on the show..my 72 year old mom of course couldnt appreciate the anime segment but was still entertained. But for my 16 year old critic daughter, no qualms there. They say they keep changing their themes weekly, they shuffle it. Graphics on large LED extended screen were cool.. seems like they had it done just specifically for the show. The costumes, choreography, stunts and energy of the cast are highly lauded, i'd give them 5/5 for effort and hard work. May be the perfectionist in us would like it if they just lipsynced the entire song perfectly, while dancing and acting. Just a tad bit being critical.šŸ˜…Overall my hard to impress mother and daughter want to definetly come back because of the live show mainly and then the food and see what else do they have to offer. This place reminds me of Planet Hollywood in the US, minus the performers. Has that same vibes with the artist's photos, well known movie characters, memorabilia on display. Hope this place would last..rarely would you see these kind of entertainment for the family to enjoy in the metro nowadays. Believe me it's worth the price. šŸ˜ŠšŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

Honestly, the food here is just okay. It doesnā€™t have the wow factor that you will keep coming back for. The place also seems a little out of place with it being in the MRT station building of Centris. You would have to pass through tiangges and stalls before you get to the restaurant itself. But when you go inside, itā€™s actually surprisingly nice. The ambiance is very good and their facilities are clean. Plus they have very friendly staffs too. What made me give this place 4 stars is not the food but their entertainment. Yes, their food is a little pricey given its taste and quality, but the servings are huge. One order can be good enough for 2-4 depending on the dish. Plus every 30 minutes, starting at 7 pm, they hold a show on their wide stage that goes around almost the whole area. It feels like thereā€™s always a party here. If their food is more tasty, I would have easily given them 5 stars. But despite of this, I will still highly recommend this place especially for those with kids.

It's a rare thing to find a place that caters to everyone nowadays. Most times, I find it difficult to choose a place where the kids and I can enjoy the food. Most times, we end up in a fastfood just to satiate the children.

Home to all fandoms, Movie Stars Cafe is sort of a memorabilia studio or museum of movies, characters and every pop culture icon you can imagine. Walls are lined with standing figures of your favorite superheroes, movie posters, cartoon characters. Film enthusiasts, fandom geeks, movie fans will be wowed with their vast collection of memorabilia.

Not only that, they run at least 5 shows a day, featuring fan favorite movies. As you watch these shows, enjoy a pint of beer at the bar or dine in and relax on their numerous couches.

For dinner, we feasted on dishes named after famous movie characters, both animated and live action. These dishes are the bomb!

Ā°Spaceballs - Meatball Pizza
Crispy crust pizza topped with bacon, ham, pepperoni and hot sausage. The thin crust makes it light and easy to munch on.

Pocahontas - Clam Chowder
Made with chopped clams and diced potatoes in a buttery creamy milk base. This was such a comforting cup of clam chowder, quite chunky due to the clams and potatoes. Love this!

Sizzling Ursula - Squid Sisig
Named after the Little Mermaid villain, this squid-filled sizzler has chopped green finger chilis for a seafood sensation with a kick.

Karate Kid - Karaage
Get ready to was on wax off as you bite into tender Japanese fried chicken dipped in sake soy sauce, ginger, garlic coated with potato starch.

Double Trouble - Double Cheese Burger
Charcoal grilled burger that's double the cheese, inside and outside, with even more melted cheese oozing on top. It is served with potato wedges on the side.

Little Mermaid - Seafood Pomodoro
Mouth-watering combination of pasta, mussels, shrimp and squid, tossed with olive oil, fresh tomatoes, basil and olives. Could use a bit of zest or spice to add another level of flavor.

Ran - Okonomiyaki
A pizza decked with cabbage, tender pork, squid bits, shrimp and egg. Not a fan of okonomiyaki but this was tasty.

Da Vinci Code - Nicoise Salad
The holy grail of salad mixed with red onion, tuna, cherry tomatoes, and marble potatoes, dressed with vinaigrette and parmesan. Love this salad. I love the acidity vinaigrette and the bite of the parmesan. Lovely side to the steak!

Rebecca - Tenderloin Steak
Grilled tenderloin served with fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes. There were parts that were tough but I lile how the steak was flavored. Searing is good too. I had a medium well and the cook was on point. Mashed potatoes could use a bit more salt.

Dessert:
Maleficent - Strawberry Cream Mousse
Strawberry-flavored mousse with strawberry syrup. A bit too sweet because of the chocolate chips but the mousse was spot on the strawberry!

Rarely do we stumble upon great gems of a place that can cater to everyone. But Movie Stars Cafe makes it look so effortlessly easy.
Once you enter Movie Stars Cafe, you know everyone's in for a treat. Can't wait to bring the kids here!

PS: This was the same Movie Stars Cafe back in Mall of Asia. However, with the new branch, they decided to forego the buffet and focus more on the food and the service. Back then, the waiters were also dressed up in costumes, and also perform. Today, there are separate performers and cosplayers who dance on stage and roam around tl take photos, while the wait and kitchen staff are in uniform. This somehow improved their service, I must say. Movie Stars Cafe is putting up an all-exclusive MNL48 theatre right next to the cafe. Something to look forward to next year!

I remember seeing Movie Stars Cafe back in Mall of Asia, but did you know that Movie Stars Cafe already found new home at theĀ Ground Floor of Eton Centris Mall in Quezon Avenue?Ā  It reopened its doors last August 11 to foodies, movie buffs, as well as old and new patrons alike. Movie Stars Cafe now has a spacious 1,711-square meter area that can accommodate up to 330 guests.Ā  It has VIP rooms which can also be converted into big rooms for big events.

A talented kitchen crew cooks up a variety of dishes from different cuisines, such as Italian, Chinese, Japanese, American, and Filipino. Made from the finest and freshest ingredients, dishes like:

the finger-licking Karate Kid (Karaage)

the palatable Pocahontas (Clam Chowder)

the naturally flavorful The Green Mile (Broccoli Salad) are among the crowd favorites.

For those craving a heartier meal,
the sumptuous Mamma Mia (Bolognese)Ā
the meaty Space Balls (Meatball pizza)

the char-grilled Whiplash (Bacon and Mushroom Burger)Ā

and the laboriously seasoned Rebecca (Tenderloin Steak) awaits the hungry individual.

Finally, dive into a slice of the devilishly good Maleficent (Strawberry and Cream Mousse) to cap off a satisfying food fiesta.

We loved our Movie Stars Experience from the non-stop magnetic shows by expert performers to the delectable dishes. Some may notice that the price is quite hefty but actually, it is reasonable. The food tastes good and has generous servings. More importantly, they don't require a minimum bill for customers to be able to watch performances. Their performers themselves give justice to the roles they have and they are really friendly. For instance, their Spiderman character goes above and beyond in interacting with customers.

The golden age of food from variety to overall experience is happening now. And that also translates to each restaurant going for extra everything to win every customer. Concepts are now evolving, even more, adding unheard of attractions like never before.

Movie Stars Cafe has won my heart, as it embraced both good food and the value of entertainment under one roof. We can interact with movie characters here and their overall menu encapsulates cuisines that we all love- Italian, Chinese, Japanese, American, and Filipino.

Mr. Yasunari Okada is the brainchild behind this massive sized Movie Stars CafeĢ. It was his dream to establish a restaurant where Hollywood dreams come to life.

The menu captures the essence of the overall theme as it carries various film inspirations. They are coined after blockbuster movies to well-known superheroes. For shows they have a whole night of performances like The Greatest Showman, Barbie: The Princess & the Popstar, The Matrix, Spider-man: Homecoming, Batman and even Japanese Anime with Rurouni Kenshin.

These are the following items we indulged that night:

Meatball Pizza- cheese, bacon, ham, pepperoni and hot sausage under the delicious homemade thin crust.

Pocahontas Clam Chowder- chopped clams and diced potatoes in a mixed cream milk base and butter.

Sizzling Ursula Squid Sisig- spiced up with green finger chilies.

Karate Kid Karaage- bite-sized Japanese fried chicken dipped in sake, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic.

Double Trouble Double Cheeseburger with potato wedges.

Little Mermaid Seafood Pomodoro- mussels, shrimp and squid tossed with olive oil, fresh tomatoes and basil olives.

Ran Okonomiyaki- Japanese pizza decked with cabbage, tender pork, squid balls, shrimp and egg.

Da Vinci Code Nicoise Salad- the holy grail of salad mixed with red onion, tuna, cherry tomatoes, and marbled potatoes, dressed with vinaigrette and parmesan.

Rebecca Tenderloin Steak with fresh vegetables and mashed potato.

Movie Stars Cafe has been around since 2012, located then at the Mall of Asia grounds. It is now in a much bigger location in Centris Quezon City, its capacity can now reach more than 300 people at a time, including 6 VIP rooms.

It is open every day! Sundays to Thursdays from 10 AM to 11 PM and Fridays to Saturdays from 10 AM to 12 midnight. Daily performances and cosplay start from 7 PM to 11 PM on Sundays to Thursdays and 7 PM to 12 midnight on Fridays to Saturdays.

With a vision to create a unique space that marries both good food and good entertainment, Mr. Yasunari Okada, Movie Stars CafĆ© Chairman, decided to establish a restaurant where Hollywood dreams come to life. Movie Stars CafĆ© is not your usual run-of-the-mill restaurant. Their specialty is overall entertainmentā€”they take pride in serving a feast for both the belly and the eyes. From their meticulously prepared dishes aptly named after film inspirations to the non-stop magnetic shows brought to the stage by expert performers, this restaurant will make any guest feel like theyā€™re living in the reel world.

If you have been to MOA (Mall of Asia) in Pasay City, you've probably heard Movie Stars CafƩ before. It's a unique restaurant where every night, there are special performances like you're watching musicals, plays and theaters. After five years at their old branch, they moved to a bigger and better location at the Ground Floor of Eton Centris Station Mall in Quezon City (just beside the MRT Quezon Ave Station).

The interior of the restaurant is full of statues and memorabilia of notable movie stars and characters lined up along the area (you'll love to see Darth Vader beside your seat in the bar section). Get ready to see some cosplays of some of your favorite animƩs and movies dancing and even seating with you (take a photo with them while they're available). A huge LED screen was installed in the middle. The surround sound just made everything feel alive. The place is spacious and it can accommodate up to 330 guests. 6 spacious VIP rooms (up to 10pax) are available. These VIP rooms can be converted into 2 big areas that can entertain 30 guests each. All in all, it was strategically built like a modern theater house to provide its customers an optimum view of the restaurant's shows (like you're watching a concert!).

Security is a plus! Food serving time can be improved. I like how the characters/cosplayers constantly cheer up customers and how they're approachable and friendly.

They served us the Dinner menu for that night which includes:
Spaceballs (Meatball Pizza) - I like how big the meatballs are for a pizza. The pizza is cheesy and it has a thin crust. I wish the pizza has more toppings as it looks plain.

Pocahontas (Clam Chowder) - chopped clams and diced potatoes in a mixed cream milk base. The taste didn't disappoint.

Sizzling Ursula (Squid Sisig) - it was made creamy. The squid is tender. The onion taste is dominant though for me, it's okay.

Karate Kid (Karaage) - crunchy and crispy chicken quickbite. I love it.

Double Trouble (Double Cheese Burger) - it was termed as a double cheeseburger because the patty was topped with a cheese, and when you slice the patty, you'll see the cheese as well.

Little Mermaid (Seafood Pomodoro) - one of my favorites. It has a combination of sweet and sour flavors from the sauce made from tomatoes, olive oil. Seafood toppings were generously served.

Ran (Okonomiyaki) - has generous topping. The shrimp can be tasted in that okonomiyaki. It was salty and ir's okay for me.

Da Vinci Code (Nicoise Salad) - the tuna was tasty!! The fresh greens were not that crispy but its okay. The vinaigrette taste good.

Rebecca (Tenderloin Steak) - I like how tender the steak is. The mashed potato was just okay. Adding a smokey flavor to the steak can make it more flavorful (my opinion only).

Maleficent (Strawberry Cream Mousse) - First of all, the plating is good. I like how the strawberry flavor isn't that strong and for me, it's good for a cream mousse. It was okay for me. The strawberry syrup serving was little (like it's used for a display only). I think that the serving of choco chips around the cream were too much, I feel like grinding the dessert most of the time.

Price range of the food is on the higher end but there's no entrance fee here as long as you buy any food on their menu. It was worth going here! The restaurant itself is family-themed and it was surely made to make your eyes and bellies be more than satisfied with what Movie Stars CafƩ can provide.

Movie Stars CafƩ is open
Sundays to Thursdays: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Fridays to Saturdays: 10:00 AM - 12:00 midnight

Daily performances and cosplays start at 7:00 PM so don't miss that!!

Let me take you on my first review on Movie Stars Cafe by dividing this in a few segments based on the food we ate last Bloggersā€™ Night. (If you want to know whatā€™s inside the cafe, visit my blog www.stefideeblogs.wordpress.com)

After the presentation of their featured platters for that night, we were served three smaller plates for us to try the different dishes.

FIRST ROUND:

1. Pocahontas (Clam Chowder) - Chopped clams and diced potatoes in a mixed cream and milk base,
with a small amount of butter.

Review: I love this! Iā€™m a bread lover and this has passed on my taste buds! The filling inside is sooo good. The only thing is that it is a bit messy too eat.

2. Spaceballs (Meatball pizza) - Crispy crust pizza topped with cheese, bacon, ham, pepperoni, and hot sausage under a delicious homemade crust.

Review: It is true to its word that its crust is definitely crispy! For a pizza lover, I actually liked the Spaceballs because it is tasty though I prefer a lot more sauce.

3. Sizzling Ursula (Squid Sisig) - Squid filled sizzler with green finger chillies for a seafood sensation with a kick.

Review: I love squid but for some reason this just doesnā€™t suit my taste. Thereā€™s a lot of onions too and Iā€™m donā€™t like that much too.

SECOND ROUND:

4. Karate Kid (Karaage) - Bite sized Japanese fried chicken dripped in sake, soy sauce, ginger and garlic coated with potato starch.

Review: The chicken is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. But itā€™s actually weird at first taste because the ginger leaves a strong flavor in your mouth.

5. Double Trouble (Double Cheese Burger) - Charcoal grilled burger has double the cheese in the inside, outside, with even more melted cheese oozing on top. Its served with potato wedges on the side.

Review: The burger pattie is thick and thereā€™s a loooot of cheese. I think it is good, it isnā€™t on the top list of burgers for me.

6. Little Mermaid (Seafood Pomodoro) - Mouth watering combination of pasta, mussels, shrimp and squid, tossed with olive oil, fresh tomatoes and basil olives.

Review: I love this dish! Iā€™m a fan of pasta and seafood. This one isnā€™t sweet and not too sour and I love the balance of flavors. This one is my favorites among the nightā€™s dishes.

ROUND THREE:

7. Ran (Okonomiyaki) - A pizza decked with cabbage, tender pork, squid bits, shrimp and egg.

Review: I am honestly not a big fan of okonomiyaki because I think it has a strong taste. Still if you are adventurous with food, you may try out this one!

8. Da Vinci Code (Nicoise Salad) - The holy grail salad mixed with red onion, tuna, cherry tomatoes and marbled potato, dressed with vinaigrette and parmesan.

Review: I love this salad! All the ingredients balanced the salad really well!

9. Rebecca (Tenderloin Steak) - Grilled tenderloin served with fresh vegetables with mashed potato.

Review: The meat is tender and I like that the vegetables arenā€™t over cooked and salty.

10. Maleficent (Strawberry Cream Mousse) - Strawberry flavored mousse with strawberry syrup.

Review: This dessert is coated with chocolate kisses. This isnā€™t very sweet but it didnā€™t add up on my top list.

My top 3 dishes are:
Pocahontas (Clam Chowder)
Little Mermaid (Seafood Pomodoro)
Spaceballs (Meatball pizza)

The ambiance of the place was superb. Movie buffs are sure to enjoy the posters, pictures, statues and the over-all-effect of the place. The performances, ala-broadway was fun and the performers really connect with their audience. Costumed (cosplayers) heros-villains were roaming around to interact with everyone and are very approachable.

Some of us want the hollywood life where everything seems fancy and nice. It's like where all your dreams come true! Hollywood is so far to us that we can only really just dream of it but here at Movie Stars Cafe, they brought Hollywood closer to us!

(F)ood:
You can feel the intention to entertain and for you to have a good time with their playful menu that the movie-buff could eadily recognize! The menu will definitely put a smile on your face.

ā— Spaceballs - this is their meatball pizza, a thin crispy crust layered with cheese, ham, pepperoni and hot sausage. Love the amount of cheese in there!
ā— Pocahontas - clam chowder in a bread bowl, choppped clams and potators in a cream milk based soup. Wish there were more of that clam flavor.
ā— Sizzling Ursula - squid sisig with green finger chillies. Love that spicy kick in this sisig and the squid is tender and not overcooked. The mix of onions and mayonnaise is just right
ā— Karate Kid - bite-sized karaage that are flavorful, crispy and tender. I would definitely order this again.
ā— Double Trouble - double cheeseburger. I am not a fan of this burger though the double cheese made this burger worth a try! And those potato wedges are crave-worthy
ā— Little Mermaid - seafood pomodoro. The pasta is al dente and the combination of mussels, shrimp and squid is just drool-worthy. Love the sauce which is a combination of olive oil, basil, olives and fresh tomatoes.
ā— Ran - okonomiyaki. This one is a little salty for me though they are very generous as to the toppings
ā— Da Vinci Code - nicoise salad. I just love tuna in my salad and that vinagraitte is perfect for this salad
ā— Rebecca - tenderloin steak. the meat is tender and that mashed potato is yummy! Would love to order this again!
ā— Maleficent - strawberry cream mousse. Lovely dessert with lots of chocolate chips and a lovely chocolate tuile on top. The presentation is on point but I wish it would be less sweet and the syrup would be more scoopable than just being part of the display.

(A)mbience:
This is what will keep you come back for more because it is Hollywood perfect! Movie memorabilias here and there making you feel like you are on a hollywood set studio tour! Life-size statues and what' greater are the presenters/actors dressed up as your fave movie character! Batman, Superman, Lupin, Detective Conan, Spiderman, Darth Vader... name it! For sure you will find your favorite movie or anime character in here! The entertainment is scheduled at least 5 times a day (or more?) with some intervals where you can see your fave character come to life and watch them perform on stage or even take a picture with you!

(B)utler Service:
The servers are attentive and friendly but bringing out orders and drinks take some time, one thing they can improve on.

We were just looking for a place to dine to celebrate our anniversary and decided to give this place a try and it was such a wonderful experience! My wife and I, together with our son really had a great time.

The staff were all so accommodating and everyone will greet you with a smile! The ambiance had a cozy feel to it and each wall you see is decorated with movie paraphernalia, from photos, posters and life size statues. Their food was exceptional, though I can say it was pricey BUT the shows/performances was all worth it. There weren't any entrance fees so that might explain that part.

I wasn't able to snap a photo of their menu, though I looked through them and they offer a variety of american food. There were some typical (familiar) dishes as well, like caldereta, rice, pizza, pasta etc. Food selections were good for two (not for me) and each serving (meal) would cost around Php400 and a glass of juice was at Php150.

We had some bolognese pasta, beef curry and special fried rice with shrimp something like that. The waiter offered some dessert (upselling and he was good) and it was some sort of chocolate cake which he mentioned a new addition to their menu.

I can say the food was great but I couldn't pay attention to that too much. Everyone was all focused with the performances consisting of various cosplayers, movie themes and characters plus a LOT OF PICTURE TAKING. They allow you to take photos with the performers after each show and there are a couple of movie icons/characters walking around. There's a show every 30 minutes!

Overall, we had a really fun experience. This place is perfect for those weekend family bonding sessions with kids since they can run around, even come up on stage. Highle recommended!
