This is my favorite vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Delicous japanese food with a very affordable price.
The food here is delicious and healthy ...... must try
Maybe the best ramen in the whole universe.
It’s comfort in “healthy” doses.
Not a vegetarian, but this is one place I frequent to with my girl-friends! Love everything I've tried. My only problem with wabi-sabi is having to spend almost the whole day there to eat. Haha! Thank you for serving the good stuff! <3
Good experience. Had the tantanmen. It was a bit salty. The okonomiyaki was awesome.
The place is small and a bit hidden but we were almost deceived. The food was good at a reasonable price and they offer unique menu items that I would like to try when I come back
I found this quaint little ramen place which is perfect for ramen weather and soothing conversations. Their tantanmen ramen is underrated. It’s one of the best in town, and it is reasonably priced!

Perfect after-workout meal.
I'm always craving for Viet Pho and Summer rolls. So fresh! So good!
Price: $
Place: ⭐⭐ (I'm really there for the meal, and I don't really care about the interior)
Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
They're closed on Mondays so be weary of that.

Glad we found this hole-in-the-wall vegetarian ramen place in the area. Their soup base is surprisingly rich and filling. Had the tantanmen and okonomigyoza during our visit a few days ago - the noodles were cooked perfectly and the soup base had the perfect balance of warm spice and nuttyness. The gyoza with okonomiyaki sauce was a good sweet element to the meal. Would go back
I am a practicing Muslim and I dont eat pork dishes/by products. Finding this restaurant was such as Eureka! moment for me being able to have a nice and warm bowl of ramen that I can 'really' eat. Love the Tantanmen, Okonomiyaki, Shumai and Cuapao. Also priced reasonably :)
Cozy place that serves spectacular food.
Opened my eyes that vegan does not have to be limiting in terms of option and taste.
Highly recommend ordering tantanmen!
Must try! I mean, you're missing out if you haven't. Amazing wabi-sabi ramen and okonomigyoza, for people who misses the flavors from vietnam, this is the place to go! Put banh-mi and summer rolls on your list!
Amazing broth! Can’t believe they’re vegan! The place also reminded me of those hole-in-the-wall restaurants you find in the side streets of Shibuya. I ordered the tantanmen and it was so flavorful! Will surely come back and order the pho next time!
One of our favorite food places. We always order Tantanmen and Shoyu. But recently, we also discovered that their Pho is very good as well. The sweet corn and okonomigyoza are also regulars in our order list. You’d never think that you are in a vegan resto. ❤️❤️❤️
I love this place! The food is vegan yet flavorful. My favourites are the Shoyu Ramen and Okonomigyoza.
The price on the menu are very reasonable considering the serving size and the taste of the dish.
Service is quick and the staff are friendly.
Definitely a go to resto in Tomas Morato.
Tried this resto for the first time last night. Food was good and amazing. You can eat a ramen under 200.
This resto is recommended... thumbs up
Brought my transitioning vegan friend here and enjoyed it so much! Definitely going back here with more friends to encourage them to adopt a plant-based diet. Tantanmen ramen was perfect! 😊💚
Great food for its value. I tried the tantanmen and okonomigyoza and I loved both! Didn’t even remember that it was a vegan restaurant. For someone who is very particular ramen, their tantanment caught my heart and its only for 220! The okonomigyoza was uniquely good as well! My mom praised how good the wrapper was and the taste was just as well!
I love this place! It’s a bit small and not very ideal for a big group, but they serve really good food! It’s a vegan place but everything is so tasty you almost forgot that it’s veggie meat! Love their Bahnmi sandwiches and ramen choices are also great! My fave is okonomigyoza! The best!
I went here with my HS close friends because one of them is Vegan already. Although I've already tried wabi sabi b-side collective branch I was still craving for their TanTanmen ramen so yeah I was happy to go all the way to this branch. My friends and I enjoyed the food and it's all veggies it doesn't taste like it at all and it's really delicious and for the price it's really superb! ₱220 for a ramen is winner. I would always come back for more if only the Makati Cinema Square branch of Wabi Sabi is already open. Place is really cute and small like a real ramen place in Japan...they even have vegan seasonings they're selling in there.
This is a vegetarian restaurant that serves really tasty food! My fave was the tom yum pho - it was refreshing. The cream cheese tempura was a bit too much for me as it’s literally cream cheese wrapped in batter. I thought it’s vegetarian shrimp with cheese - nonetheless it was good! Would def come back!

Hidden in a nondescript building along Scout Madrinan in Quezon City is a small noodle house called Wabi Sabi. Named after the Japanese worldview of finding beauty in impermanence and imperfection, this cozy restaurant embodies “wisdom in natural simplicity.”. A friend and I chanced upon this eatery during one of our more adventurous lunchtime forays. Wanting a change of scenery (as well as food choices), we veered away from our usual haunts and found ourselves at this unusual joint.
Whenever I find myself in Tomas Morato, it’s a no brainer. I go straight to Wabi-Sabi and order myself a hefty bowl of Shoyu Ramen. A hearty meal without the guilt is just what I need. Savory and filling, this dish always gives me such good vibes. So whenever I plan a visit to Tomas Morato, I try to arrive within the days the store is open. This review won’t suffice how much I love Wabi-Sabi.
Ordered Shoyu Ramen, Summer Rolls, and Sweet Corn and Creamcheese Tempura.
🍜 Shoyu Ramen was surprisingly delightful! The soup base which was made of just broth and soy sauce was SO warm and comforting. The chasu was tender, but the tamago was a little bit way too salty. The noodles were firm and a little chewy, which i loved.
(You can opt not to have the tamagp)
🥙 Summer Rolls were smaller than i expected. 😅 But it was good and they served such generous amount of PB sauce!!!
🍤 Sweetcorn and Creamcheese Tempura was such a nice twist to your conventional shrimp tempura. It was SO crisp on the outside, and yet so light on the inside. It's a nice side dish together with the ramen, as it becomes nakakaumay when you eat it alone. The combination of flavor together with its sauce was definitely 👌
As for the place, it is really small, but they have chairs outside. Service was fast. Will definitely come back!
Wabi- sabi is a lovely place for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike. It is really a place to go when you would like to sip some soup during rainy days or even if you’re just craving for some Ramen. I love-love the cracklings, you won’t miss the pork at all. After your meal you could also give the dessert place a try. It’s just right in front of it.
its a small place with food that is big on flavor! ramen serving size is adequate for its reasonable price. tantanmen is my favorite - its a rich and flavorful ramen!

Found this little gem in Tomas Morato. Just finished my weekly Sunday run and a vegetarian restaurant sounded tempting. Yep, you heard me right, this is a vegetarian shop which serves Japanese and Vietnamese Cuisine. Their menu is limited but definitely delicious.
The food is priced just right and the serving can really fill your tummy!
We ordered, Tantanmen, Viet Pho, and the Okonomigyoza. Surprisingly tasty despite the absence of meat 🙂
We also tried the Sweet Corn and Cream Cheese Tempura which was served with Calamansi and Salt. We were hesitant at first, I mean, come on.. Calamansi and Cheese!!?? But wow, it tastes amazing! The outside is crunchy and it’s soft inside due to the cream cheese.
The ambience is really cozy and makes you want to keep it as your little secret hideaway. It only sits around 15-20 pax so it’s a really intimate little place. Clean and the staff is friendly.
Would be coming back here for future veggie cravings!

I can stress how much I frequent this place. My boyfriend has been vegetarian for the past 5 months and this restaurant has been a go-to. They trade the meats in their dishes with veggie meat/gluten, tofu, and mushrooms. You won’t even miss having the meat. The Banh Mi (as seen in the photo) is a favorite of ours. Okonomigyoza and the Shoyu ramen are also my faves. It takes some getting used to to like the “tonkotsu” broth ramens they serve because these use coconut cream as a base. However with the competitive pricing plus amazing food, Wabi Sabi is always worth going back to!
Very good vegetarian food! Tried this with my friend who is Buddhist and we both loved the food. Choices were a bit few but they were so good! (Yes we ate a lot) The resto is small so that’s the only downside when peak hours hit—try it when it’s not so full of people! Will come back to try the rest of the menu.
A pleasant surprise.
I wouldn’t know this casual restaurant would be vegetarian friendly if not for the friendly waitresses. The also have an indoor vegetarian grocery (which I did not inquire about because I was hungry). Pretty decent food at an average price. I had the Shoyu Ramen and the Sua Da (Viet Coffee + ice) and was pretty satisfied with my meal.
What they could improve on though, is the amount of ingredients they put in the ramen. I counted 3 quarters of 1 mushroom, a tamago, tofu and the delicious brown things (seasoned tofu? Meat substitute?). Also, if they had a menu, it would help tons. I have a slight neck injury and cannot exactly look up to the blackboard menu.
Would I recommend going here? Yes. The place has so much potential and I am definitely looking forward to eating pho here.
My partner and I were looking for a ramen house at Quezon City when I found out about Wabi-Sabi. They are open until 11pm (excluding Sunday, I guess!) so we end up going there. The place is not yet recommended for big groups. We asked for their best seller - Tantanmen & Shoyu Ramen, and we ordered both including the Okonomigyoza. The taste differ somehow compared to those ramen that have meats on it but it taste surprisingly good! The gyoza is not the typical gyoza-taste since for me it takes like I'm eating Sushi. These foods are recommended for vegetarians and to those who wants different style of ramen.
Because I went here with a friend without knowing they serve vegetarian food, I was pleasantly surprised when I bit into the "chashu" and found out it was veggie meat. It was really flavorful. My friend and I had their Miso Ramen, Mushroom Shumai, and Mission Street Pot Stickers. All were very full of flavor. For drinks, we had the Lemongrass Iced Tea and Thai Milk tea, which reminded me a bit of Butterball candies haha! The Miso Ramen tasted more like Miso Butter Ramen though, but no complaints. The place is small so not really recommended for big groups. Bonus points for their very chill selection of Japanese background music! Would recommend Wabi-Sabi to others, and will definitely visit again.
Good food doesn't need to meaty. That is what I realize when we ate Ramen at Wabi Sabi. My Boyfriend loves the wheat asado bun and the banh mi. I also love the Tantanmen which is their best seller. Price wise it is cheap from the conventional vegetarian restaurant and also from conventional ramen house. Tantanmen price at 220 while wheat asado bun at 35 pesos. I forgot the price of the Banh mi but I think it is around 170 to 180. Overall, I will go back to try other dishes
One of the best banh mi place! Their charcoal roasted veggie meat combined with cilantro and traditional vietnamese chili is so yummmy! Their tantanmen is a fusion of flavors. Best surprise is their wheat asado steamed bun, what a balanced flavor!
The price to satisfaction ratio makes this a 5 star hidden gem of Tomas Morato.
It’s affordable for its servings. It is a good place to try if you want vegetarian ramen and soup. The place is small but it’s cozy inside.
Their tantanmen ramen is love! The size is good enough for 1 person which I like because I can't finish a bowl of ramen in those well-known, pricier ramen places. Hope to be back for others.
Their dishes are all vegan, perfect if you want a change or if you have vegan friends looking for other options to eat.
Their space is small though, so it can get cramped.
First time with the family to eat in a vegetarian restaurant. Ordered the Tantanmen which was great! The broth was so rich and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The staff were also accomodating and was very knowledgeable about their menu. We also ordered their Okonomigyoza which was also great. Highly recommend this restaurant for ramen enthusiasts!
Looking for a ramen place serving good vegetarian options can be a challenge and I'm really thankful to have the option to dine in at Wabi-Sabi. Their cozy and intimate nook in Quezon City is a haven for Asian inspired vegetarian dishes. With a reasonable price range and delicious flavors, Wabi-Sabi is definitely something that you should try, no matter if you're a vegetarian or not. 😉
Must try (and personal fave):
* Tantanmen
* Corn + Creamcheese Tempura
* Gyoza
Wabi-sabi remains to be one of my favorite vegetarian restaurant. We are fan of this place. We love everything especially the tantanmen ramen. The broth is tasty without meat. Other notable dishes we ordered are corn and cream cheese tempura, mushroom sui mai, bahn my, cupao, chahan , okonomigyoza and a lot more. You won't feel any guilt while eating because everything is healthy. All orders are freshly made 😍
Highly recommended place for healthy, delicious food.
Note : We ordered at wabi sabi and requested our food to be served at ikigai kakigori restaurant (just infront of wabi sabi)
Been here twice. Craved for their buns (swear this is just too good). Their phó is full of cilantro, but still tastes good. Their okonomigyozas are to die for, but the servings are just too small. Still, it’s good for the price.
Will definitely come back again and again.
I enjoyed everything especially the banhmi... All of the staff are friendly. Lemongrass iced tea is so refreshing. I will definitely come back.
This quaint place is a gateway for people who want to start eating healthy.
The first time I went here, my expectations were low. I only wanted to eat cheap ramen (cheap Tantanmen, if possible) as my wallet was on a strike; craving won over the budget, and research lead me to this place. Being a carnivore, I was initially quite horrified when I stepped inside and learned that it was a vegetarian place (I even stupidly asked if they had meat; they were courteous and politely said, "No"). Again, craving won over the horror, and I am glad it did because this is honestly one of the most surprising and best ramen I have ever tried. The soup was rich and filling with just the right amount of spice, and the noodles had that nice snap when you bite it. And the "meat" was truly meaty...I didn't think that I was eating some meat replacement at all. The serving size was also good...but after eating there's a sense of wanting to eat more. Maybe the veggie-overload stimulated my appetite but there was none of those meat-sweats you get after eating. So I had to try more...the mission dumplings, so juicy and succulent..
The bahn-my -- the BAHN-MY! I ordered just half and it was instant regret... I knew after just one bite that I should have ordered the entire bun! Such an excellent and satisfying place. So much that I it made my meat-addled brain toy with the idea of converting into an herbivore -- the thought lasted for a total of 30 minutes before I banished it totally, but hey, nice try, Wabi-sabi!
I brought my sister who is a vegetarian to this place and she has also fallen in love. Her fave is the wheat bun, and the lemongrass tea by the way. So we come back from time to time still.
I guess the con for this place would be it's size? Not too many people would fit inside though there are chairs and tables outside but that ain't good for the sunny weather of the PhP. But for me that actually is more of a pro as it gives a sense of intimacy...plus it's easy to get familiar with the staff. Oh yes! And the staff is ultra accommodating and nice.
Nowadays, I still come here from time to time. This, I guess, is one of my happy places in Tomas Morato. Definitely will keep coming back for more.
A vegetarian restaurant i actually like haha
Forever favorite is their Wheat pao whether it's the asado or chay at only P35 I can have it everyday.
Aside from that, we got fresh spring rolls. Four big pieces with their peanut sauce that was so good but a bit pricey. P85
On this visit, I tried their Viet Pho-
It was bland of course without meat so they put in lots of cilantro, basil and cabbage for a really aromatic broth and of course mushrooms.
As much as I want to keep Wabi Sabi a secret, I can’t help but write good things about it! 😭😭😭
It’s definitely one of the most amazing ramen places here in the metro (in comparison to the ever-pricey Ramenagi). I personally liked their soy sauce-based ramen, it was fun to eat and sip, and I had it paired with the dumplings.
The place is quite tight - but intimate in a positive way; you could easily see people enjoying their bowls as well.
It’s quite far from where I live, but my next visit would be very soon as the food here is worth the travel! (Checkout the Japanese dessert shoo nearby too when you’re there - Ikigai Cafe) ✨
Our friend brought us to this hole-in-the-wall resto in the Tomas Morato area. When we parked in front of the building, we were wondering where it was, and apparently it’s all the way inside so you really won’t notice it unless maybe you’re with someone who’s been there already.
Their menu is quite limited, but I would say still impressive. I had their tantanmen ramen, which is surprisingly at par with those of other pricier ramen places in the metro. It has a subtle spice and is very flavorful. We also tried their corn & cream cheese tempura. Don’t forget to drizzle it with calamansi and rock salt, and the flavors surprisingly marry well. Without calamansi and salt, it’s a little boring, but with the tanginess, the saltiness, and the added crunch from the rock salt, it’s really good. Other must tries are their gyoza, shumai, and banh-mi. I also had their Thai milk tea, but this one is so-so as it just tastes the same as the canned ones you find in 7-11.
But overall, this place is worth a try especially if you’re into ramen. Their food is good at prices that are not too steep. Just remember that it’s a really small place so it gets full easily especially during peak lunch and dinner times.
Food exceeded my expectations!! You wouldn’t even know that the resto is vegetarian/ vegan options also
🔸Ramen: generous serving size and cheap for less than 200
🔸Okonomigyoza: small but tasted really good like a takoyaki
🔸Mission street gyoza: tasted normal meh. Just gyoza with black vinegar
🔸Corn tempura: you won’t really taste the cream cheese, but it was good dipped in the rock salt
🔸Siomai: nothing special
Service was fast. Place is very very small though. Around only 10 people can fit inside
My husband and I are trying to be fully plant based this year so we're on the look out for good vegan/ vegetarian restos and I think we found a new go to place every after church! We loved the ban mhi so much, also the corn and cream cheese tempura (not vegan) is unusually amazing together with salt and calamansi. Ordered thai milk tea too which you can request for a plant based milk option. We ordered veggie siopao as well and my husband loved it, he ordered again. Price is very reasonable as well, we were really surprised. We'll be back for the ramen! And another ban mhi ;)
The place is relatively small but cozy. The servings are big with reasonable prices. This is definitely recommended as alternatives to mainstream Japanese cuisines.
Just had lunch here today (Dec 8). I ordered the chahan, mushroom shumai, okonomigyoza and iced Vietnamese coffee. Super loved the okonomigyoza and the chahan! They’re both full of flavor. The point deduction is for the inattentive servers. They keep getting the wrong orders for the other table. I had to remind one waitress for my glass of water. I prefer the Makati branch over this one in Morato because of this.
Ate here again today for lunch(Dec 19). Tried out their banh mi and it’s quite filling! I had the half portion with the okonomigyoza and I was so full after my meal :) The meat in the banh mi is sweet and tasty at the same time. Kinda like tapa but much softer. I wish it had more vegetables on it though. I don’t recommend this combination (okonomigyoza + banh mi), nakakasuya. You’d want a palette cleanser right after.
The best vegan comfort food in the metro. Vegetarian restaurant by default but has lots of vegan options and other dishes can be easily veganized. The staff are friendly and will accommodate vegan requests and are perfectly knowledgable of what a vegan diet is. You won't even know it's vegatarian/vegan! Favorite would either have to be the Tantanmen or Wabi Sabi Ramen but i've yet to try the other noodle bowls. Cuapao, Banh mi, and okonomi gyoza are all also amazing. My only complain is that the soup can be a bit salty at times. If you're ever planning to drop by Wabi Sabi, don't forget to visit the dessert place next door, Ikigai Kakigori. They have vegan bingsu!
Me and Best friend always go to this place for vegan meals. From the ramen, maki to the cracklings are so good. The place might be quiet small but it's definitely a must try for vegans.
Oooh! La! La!! Delicious! I am into Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich. So I go around places to buy banh mi. Out of all the restaurants I've been, Wabi Sabi has the best banh Mi of them all!!! I will definitely go back here. Plus they have big servings of banh mi and thats a big plus!
This is a gem of a find. The resto itself is homey and neat, the servers were extremely accomodating in answering all my mom's questions about their vegan food offerings.
1. Shoyu Ramen - tasty broth, perfectly cooked egg, and we got a mushroom (i think? It tasted like meat but its not meat, its yummy). We added chili for a kick. Good for sharing.
2. Fresh spring roll - expensive for the serving size, same taste as others spring rolls. Ill skip it next time
3. Okonomigyoza - my favorite! Love the sauce, the texture of the gyoza, the presentation. You should get this!
4. Wheat mushroom asado siopao - texture is soft and chewy, and tastes just right. I enjoyed eating this except I accidentally ate the paper at the bottom... Masyadong excited.
I will come back and try the other ramens and the sweet corn tempura :)
Number of times visited: Once
Parking: Shared parking with the other establishments at POS building. Limited as there are several establishments in the building.
Food: The tantanmen ramen is so flavorful you wouldn’t think it’s a vegetarian dish. The broth is both rich and hearty. The noodles they have used also have a good bite to it, it has the right kind of texture for me.
Not really a fan of the classic potstickers though. I can taste the mushroom, though I love mushrooms, the way they have flavored it isn’t working for me. There’s a bit of sweetness that I don’t quite like.
Price: I would have said affordable but the classic potstickers are quite expensive, Php 70 for 3 tiny pieces though. The ramen’s price is quite fair though.
Service: Attentive.
Place: It’s a very tiny yet cozy space. It has a Japanese theme going on as expected. Not ideal for bigger groups.
Repeat: Yes! Really enjoyed the ramen. Would love to try the other variants also.

Great customer service . the ambiance of the ramen house is like we're really in Japan.. the ramen is so good and really affordable for its price.. 5/5
This is a good budget and vegan resto. You cannot go wrong in ordering Tantanmen, Okonomigyoza, Sweet Corn & Cream Cheese Tempura, and Banh-my.
Tantanmen. If you are not into spicy food, you can still order tantanmen, just ask their servers to adjust it's spiciness level and they are accommodating enough to do as requested. But for full experience of the meal, I suggest ordering it spicy. If you are in spicy food, however, their tantanmen might not be spicy enough for you but you can adjust it yourself since they provide chili things on your table. Also, they serve extra noodles and soup for a fee which is a plus.
Okonomigyoza. Judging by its name, I'm guessing this is a cross between Okonomiyaki and Gyoza. The idea might be weird but the combo works perfectly and this is the only resto we know that serves okonomigyoza. The size of this potsticker and the pieces per serving are good enough for its price. You can ask for extra sauce if you would like to drizzle some more on it.
Banh-my. This one is great. The combination of the crispy bread, their veggie meat and sauce is perfect.
The bahn mi and the summer rolls are my favorite! I always come back to it. It's a very small place with not too comfortable seats but it's still a very nice restaurant. My only issue is that the servers aren't too nice. They used to be very kind but the new servers brought in are not friendly.
My go-to place whenever im craving for ramen and spring rolls without crashing the bank! Not just a great value for your money, but it is a legit delish no-meat and all vegetable resto. It has a wide range of asian noodles and dimsum. Pho is my gold here paired with summer spring rolls. I always try to order different noodles whenever I visit this nook, and they all taste great- light yet savoury.
Have a meal on this humble resto if you are after a great meal and a nice cozy place.
When I tried wabi sabi, didn't know that it was a vegetarian resto.. Ordered the wabi sabi ramen, the broth was clean and tasty.. I didn't mind that there's no meat at all.. The bahn mi was also really good and the sauce on it was perfect!
I heard about this place through The Vegetarian Kitchen's FB post, so I decided to give it a try for dinner one evening.
When I learned they were a vegan ramen house, I had my doubts at first, because I've grown accustomed to eating pork-based ramen.
What convinced me to try it anyway is my fondness for The Vegetarian Kitchen, despite me being a rabid pork eater. I will try anything they recommend!
So for my first visit, I ordered Wabi-Sabi's Tantanmen (sesame-based ramen) and Okonomigyoza (steamed dumplings with okonomiyaki sauce)
They were both delicious!
The ramen broth had a rich and smooth consistency on the palette. I loved the crumbled tofu and gluten on top. It mimicked the taste of meat without you even realizing it.
The gyoza's dough wasn't too think, and it had small chunks of veggies and tofu inside. The okonomiyaki sauce and japanese mayo drizzled on top was the perfect pairing.

Love the pot stickers and the corn and cream cheese ❤️ never knew I'd enjoy eating in a Vegetarian / Vegan restaurant. As for the place, it may be small but does not get too crowded. Love that it is hidden somewhere in the busy street of Tomas Morato ❤️
Everything is good for sharing, whether with family or friends. We ordered some of my personal favorites in the menu - shoyu ramen, tantanmen, harumaki, okonomigyoza (which we ordered twice just because), banh mi viet sandwich, and sweet corn and cream cheese tempura (which we also ordered twice). Definitely a hole-in-the-wall and something new to try because it's a Japanese restaurant that doesn't serve any pork. See what alternative they use for the meat. Enjoy!

Very affordable vegetarian and vegan meals. I am so happy I ran into a vegan friend who recommended I try Wabi-Sabi. Although the place is rather small and packed (most especially at lunch time), it's a pretty good spot to enlighten your non-vegan friends. Been here twice and the noodles just never disappoint!
Not much to say, just highly recommend their shoyu ramen and tantanmen. Also, don't forget the dumplings, banh-my and mushroom siomai! Their chahan is a little too sweet for my liking, so I suggest you pass on the rice and go for the noodles.
The food here is pretty good! I specifically loved both the Tantanmen and Wabi-Sabi ramen.
The only thing this place needs improvement on is the friendliness of their staff. I really didn't feel welcome to be there since none of them actually smiled or welcomed me and my girlfriend to the store. Seriously, friendly staff is a huge booster for any restaurant.
But food-wise, not bad! It's one of the few places that serves really good vegetarian food.
Ate here with my girlfriend who's vegan... Really like the food here compared to other vegan resto's, the long ass mushroom sandwich is really good and the gyoza's.
Good resto for vegetarians. Even my non-vegetarian friends loved this place. My favorites are bahn mi and miso ramen. These are always my staples when I eat here.
Love Wabi-Sabi especially the one in Tomas Morato! I highly recommend this restaurant to non-vegetarians as well. Super helpful staff, I literally visit twice a month.
Fan of Wabi Sabi Ramen 🙋🏼 Wabi Sabi is really Good Food that you will surely be addicted too. the Authentic way they served their food is ❤️ Kudos and 5 Star for Good Customer Service 👍🏼
Vegetarian friends, you'll definitely enjoy their dishes. I ordered ramen here, it has big serving and good taste. Ofcourse, no meat. I just found this resto from my sister who's veggie lover.
The place vegetarians will loooooove. But even a non-vegetarian like me loves this place. Healthy, tasty and affordable. My favorites are banh ni and okonomigyoza. Yummers! The pho isn't quite tasty but i like it. The corn tempura isn't to my liking, it was bland and I had to put a lot of calamansi and salt or it'll just make me feel sick (being fried anf made of starch).
Nonetheless, love this place compared to most vegetarian restaurants.
The dishes are obviously made from mock meat. But the food items are tasty nevertheless. The cream cheese with corn tempura is nice but I did not get that cream.cheese taste. Maybe just rename this to just corn tempura. The ramens are nice as well.
Wabisabi ramen that my boyfriend ordered was better than the shoyu ramen I ordered haha still, I like their ramens because I feel healthy because I didn't know that this was a vegetarian restaurant.
We also ordered the mushroom dumplings, but skip that because they are a bit hard and a bit bland in taste.
It was a very small place, can only accommodate less than 20 people. But, still I would go back for the vegetarian ramen (feeling healthy hehe)
Update:
We had the shoyu ramen, tantanmen, wabi sabi ramen, plus their spring roll and the tempura.
The spring roll was okay with lots of vermicelli noodles inside the roll. It was served with peanut sauce.
The tempura was excellent, especially when warm. We liked the mixture of the cream cheese with the corn. And it was served with rock salt, which brought the flavors out. Yummy! Will order that again.
The tantanmen was also good, with sesame flavor. It has a sense of spiciness, as compared to the sweet taste of the wabi-sabi ramen.
I love the truly Japanese ambience and the fast service. I tasted the miso ramen which was good although I hope there was more nori or anything other than bean sprouts. It tasted good though. Not mind blowing, but it's good for the price.
I looooove the sweet corn and cream cheese tempura. Dredge it with the accompanying rock salt, yummmmm! I accidentally dropped one in my miso ramen and it tasted good parin. Rcen better, actually.
Tantanmen was okay. Do not bother with the thai iced tea, seems a bit diluted.
We would recommend the okonomigyoza (divine! Taste was a bit complex but blends well with the rest of the ingredients)
The veggie roll was okay but the peanut (?) sauce made it a bit better.
Overall taste was okay but the price and the serving make up for it. Will recommend it for friends who want their asian food craving satisfied :)
Having decided to adopt a pescetarian lifestyle meant limited food choices whenever we dine out. Wabi Sabi had recently expanded our restaurant options as it is completely vegetarian, without sacrificing the flavor. I totally love their simple but flavorful menu options, from noodles to sandwiches to desserts. We visit their shop whenever we are in the area.
One of my favorite vegetarian places in Morato! A hole in the whole restaurant primarily focused on the Asian type of cuisine. Loved almost anything they serve because they're all meatless but you would think there's actually meat there.
Try the bahn-mi, tantanmen, soya cracklings, shoyu soup and miso soup. All were pretty good for my liking 😀 been here more than four times already
Love this place. I friend brought me here because she has been raving about the place - nonstop. Not really a vegetarian but the Wabi-Sabi is one place that doesn’t make you feel like a cow when you feel like going vegetarian for a day. You won’t even notice that you are missing the meat. I’m not a fan of Tantanmien because I feel that there is too much going on so I loved Wabi-Sabi’s no meat version of Tantanmien. The broth was not overpowering and the tofu bits were flavored very well to substitute the meat. Tried the chahan, harumaki - fried banana blossoms wrapped in seaweed and the corn/cream cheese tempura. I loved the simple and yet very creative menu. Loved the corn and cream cheese tempura - quite ingenious; calamansi goes very well with it. Prices are reasonable. Place is small so you might need to close down the place if you’re planning to come as a big group. haha. Will surely come back and bring family along with me next time.
Everything vegetarian without feeling that something is amiss. The tantanmien lacked spiciness but not in flavor. Although more broth would have been appreciated. The cheese and corn tempura with the calamansi and rock salt dip was delectable. The cuapao was surprisingly tasty and comes of as a surprise that it's still vegan. The lemongrass drink was a little too sweet though.
Cozy little place with attentive staff. So happy they have a branch in QC now.

Wabi-Sabi was recommended by a friend since I love vegetarian food. It is an asian noodle house that serves purely vegetarian dishes, and is a hole-in-the-wall type of a resto located across Il Terrazzo. It has a Japanese interior feel with wooden tables and chairs.
Before we visited this restaurant, it is a norm for me to check the menu and reviews from Zomato. One of the most talked about dish was the corn and cream cheese tempura. True enough, the dish was good bit made better with a pinch of calamansi and a dash of salt. It tasted like buttered corn. The sweetness of the corn contrasted the acidity of the calamansi and salt...making the dish shine.
Aside from that, we also tried:
- Okonomigyoza - i love okonomiyaki and gyoza so I was curious to try. It turned out it was gyoza topped with bonito flakes, mayonnaise, and vegetables. This is a very good dish. I was glad the filling of the gyoza has mushrooms, tofu, and seaweeds. It added flavor to an otherwise bland dish.
- Cuapao - a favorite Chibese snack that is complicated to make. For their version, they used vegetarian meat topped with peanut powder and parsley. The added cucumber gives a fresher and cooler taste.
- Vietnamese Pho - a good pho dish with a true flavor. There was ample pho in the soup. The soup was light and flavorful, and the coriander really gave it a punch. For meat substitute, they used tofu and vegetable cracklings.
A really good and cheap restaurant. For the above food that we ordered, we only paid Php365. I am curious to try other things on their menu. Hope to be back soon.
If you're craving for soup dishes that's budget friendly with quality food this is the place. The place is very secure and has a cute/cozy aesthetic.
We ordered Tantanmen, Viet Pho and Okonomigyoza. The Tantanmen was flavorful but it's not that spicy as to be expected. And its soup is also lacking so you'll only see all noodles. The Viet Pho was really good and also flavorful. The Okonomigyoza fusion was confusing though. It's priced at PhP80 for only 3pcs. There's too much happening with the dish so we couldn't get its true flavor I guess.
The staff are friendly and attentive to your needs.
Tom yum was average but SWEETCORN CREAMCHEESE TEMPURA was heavenly! The staff were very kind and accommodating. I had to meet my friend outside and they offered to look after my food.
Went to this restaurant several times. It is a japanese theme restaurant. Servers are friendly and would recommend their best sellers for you to try when you are lost in choosing your meal. I would personally recommend 'kuapao' as it is a mixture of siopao like bread and vegetarian meat with nuts and coriander. They serve pure vegetarian food.
One's health is prized very highly nowadays and the local food industry has recognized this need to improve man's food options and came up with lots of great resto selections. But sometimes they came at a high price.
So here comes Wabi-Sabi, a simple hole-in-the-wall place near Tomas Morato in Quezon City who gives us an affordable taste of their vegetarian fare.
Here is what they have:
1. Tantanmen Ramen (Php 180.00)
Of course I ordered my favorite type of ramen. My verdict? A bit flat but I guess I sort of expected it because this is a healthier option after all. But not bad.
2. Chahan Rice (Php 70.00)
Flavorful and a must-have when you order their viand options
3. Mushroom Shumai (Php 55.00)
Healthier version of our favorite dimsum. Not that strong in taste but you can always add some of that dipping sauce for stronger flavor.
4. Veggie Crackling (Php 60.00)
Their take on the famous porky Chicharon. A bit bland but again but it is indeed healthier. I think they can amp this up a bit by having other dipping sauce options.
5. Sweet Corn and Cream Cheese Tempura (Php 85.00)
Now this we all loved! I like the combination of the corn and cream cheese and then deep-fried, add some salt and it's packing! I would love to learn how to do this at home.
6. Bahn-My (Php 150 whole, Php 75 half)
I loved Banh Mi since the first time I had it in Vietnam and finding one here in the metro that comes near to the taste of the authentic one that I had was a challenge. Their version is vegetarian so it does not come near my expectations but it's not bad at all. It's actually good in its own special way. And affordable.
7. Thai Milk Tea (Php 60.00)
Tastes like my favorite!
This is a nice and cozy place for a quiet night alone or with close friends. Just a few tables available but there are some outside. The service was great and the food was equally healthy-good. And the prices are very fair.
I guess becoming vegetarian is not an option for me now but it is indeed nice to take a break from your usual grub and have something healthier instead.
I say, give this place a try. You just might like it.
I always hang out at The Collective and after a million years I finally gave Wabi-Sabi in Makati a shot. I must say if you're vegan and craving for ramen.. their TANTANMEN and OKONOMIGYOZA are the best! :)
All i can say is WOW!!!
A different attack to Japanese cuisine! Menu are not complicated! The owner knows his battle and create taste thats satisfy ones cravings. See you there !!!
