I love chinese dishes and Shangrila Finest Cuisine is one of my favorite fine dning restaurants. The quality of the foods, i may say, didnt change at all. From appetizer to desserts, it's really YUM Planning to celebrate my Golden Year here ,in God's will.. Definetely, will keep on coming back, like we used to do.

I love their foods and good ambiance, simple but elegant. I've been eating there for a long time. Their staff are very friendly and accommodating, lagi ko pang nauutusan na magkuha ng group picture namin. My sister's wedding reception was held there 12 years ago and my own wedding 4 years ago. Bumabalik balik talaga kami diyan kasi nami miss ko mga food nila. Keep it up and God bless you all.
The restaurant is sooo tidy n comfty where we can eat yummy chinese cuisine! Thumb up!
This is a classic family go to chinese restaurant serving great chinese food from roastings to fresh sea food! The place has that distinct chinese restaurant smell that makes it feel more nostalgic
This is always the perfect place to celebrate the best moment in life with family and friends! Good food. Good ambiance. Good people. Perfect! This has always been the tradition of our family, to eat here if there is a special celebration! The best!
So funny coz I confused this with the real Shangri-La Resorts. Anyway, this place has always been popular for chinese people in the area. There were recent news that it got robbed but I guess they were just rumors. I felt pretty safe when I was here. SHARKSFIN SOUP was legit! Will definitely go back just because of this.
Chinese Food! Dad's comfort food. Oily salty and very satisfying. We ordered yangchow fried rice, peking duck. Didn't know that for a half duck you can get 3 dishes, ( peking duck skin wrap, minced meat of peking duck wrapped in lettuce and deep fried thingy. Sweet and sour pork and garoupa (2 ways) fish soup (head of garoupa)that cleanses your palate, simple yet full of flavor scallions and ginger so subtle, preparing you for the msg laden food you are about to eat. Superb service. Food brought to the table on time, attentive and very knowledgeable waitstaff. They suggested mostly what we would have.
Celebrating Chinese New Year has been deeply ingrained in our culture. We'd see non-Chinese families also welcoming the Lunar new year by feasting on Chinese delicacies, cheering during the Dragon Dance and elaborate fireworks displays and handing ampaos to the little ones. Such strong obervance led to the said celebration to be declared a special non-working holiday since 2012. And there is no better way to spend this day than to indulge in some classic Chinese favorites.
When I was still working in Hong Kong, one of my favorite holidays is the Chinese New Year. aside from the fact that it was an additional off from work for me, it was also an opportunity for me to enjoy a wide variety Chinese Delicacies. This is one of the happiest days of the year were in we family gather together and enjoy a scrumptious meal.
They’re back!
The hubby and I used to come here for their tasty Cantonese dishes but had been disappointed by the fare lately. The event I was invited to a few weeks ago changed my mind and I will definitely be back for more. Here are a few dishes that stood out.
First, their dimsum is on point - meaty and whole (no falling-apart wrappers like some restaurants I had been to.). Chili oil, soy sauce and kalamansi dipping sauce completed the yummy morsels. I hope this means prosperity coming my way, dumplings are said to symbolize eating ingots.
Their Sweet and Sour Pork have always been a best seller and it’s easy to see why. The tender pork is lightly battered and fried crispy first before adding the sweet and tangy red-orange sauce. The contrast in flavors is just as I remembered it and made me reach out for more yang chow fried rice.
A surprising new favorite is the fish lips soup. The collagen from the fish lips is a nice contrast to the smoothness of the rest of the soup. This is a nice substitute for sharksfin soup or frightfully expensive birdnest soup.
Peking Duck is always a showstopper and Shangri-La does this right. I loved the crispy skin with the tender (and not at all gamey) meat. That in a wrapper with the hoisin sauce (sorry, I really don’t like the scallion stalk) completes my happy meal. For those on a budget, Shangri-La actually has a chicken version! You can take these home.
I took a look at some of their function rooms and boy, do they look so grand. And the prices are not so bad either. It may look like your parents’ old stomping grounds but the food is as good as before. This is one place you would like to discover yourself.
Yes, there is a restaurant with the same name as the luxurious hotel. No, they’re not at all related. In fact, Shangri-La Finest Chinese Cuisine registered their name and logo in 1982 and they won against the hotel to keep their name, logo and font. Albeit, the hotel still retained the similar design–those guys won the Troll Of The Century award in my books. [Read More]
My family dine here for my brother's birthday. We are welcome by the manager. He's very amenable, hospitable and well mannered.
The place is well lit and ventilated. It's clean and you can feast your eyes in their aquariums while waiting. Though as a sucker of modernized and peculiar place to eat, I find this typical.
If you love Chinese cuisines like us who also lives near QC area, I recommend this restaurant. You won't go wrong since the area is also accessible. This is worth your money, reasonably priced. You will be surprised that the servings are hefty; good for groupies and celebrations. The servers are attentive to your needs. I am sure you'll come back home satisfied and full.

Been here twice already and I must say, if you like chinese food, you'll never go wrong here. :)
Staff are very friendly and can describe to you some unfamiliar menu items.
Spacious and ambiance is light. Good for group nightouts/lunch.
Sobrang sarap ng food. Wala ko masabi highly recommended. Mababait yung mga staff pati manager and even si ate girl na nagmamanage ng restroom sobrang bait. Pinakahavey dito is yung memorabilia ni pope john paul II parang nablessed at nakasabay mo siya kumain. Like ko din yung koi pond. :) kudos!
This is my first visit in this restaurant. I thought this restaurant was affiliated with the hotel but soon found out that it wasn't. Food was great and their serving size is big! Since we went here on a sunday, there were a lot of people and we were seated at the 2nd floor were their function rooms are also located. There were events taking place in each room so it was a bit crowded. Their staff were accommodating and service was fast. We ordered their set meal good for 10 people (we were 11) and we end up taking some of the food home because it was a lot. The price we paid for the food was very worth it. Their comfort room is also clean and the restaurant is well ventilated. I will definitely come back again :)
Got a GC from my mom for this place so I tried it out for lunch today.
Ambiance is okay, clean and welcoming.
Food is typical Chinese food but still good quality.
Service was okay at first but when people started coming in we have to buzz twice to get a water refill and follow-up for our snowballs.
Price range is really good. A great place to celebrate special occasion while still sticking to your budget.
The best Chinese restaurant in Quezon City. It has a wide array of food to choose from. I've been eating here since I was a kid. My all time favorites are their shabu-shabu, yang chow fried rice, hot shrimp salad, peking duck and birthday noodles. They also cater for all occasions! 🤗😋
We went here last weekend , the place is okay and regarding the food what I like is the pancit ;) but it's a great place for any occasion or celebration. ;)
I have been eating here since I was a small kid. Their menu has not changed much since. The taste remains consistent throughout the years. Their servers are attentive. The only drawback is that the restaurant is always full thus expect some noise when dining. Otherwise the food is great.
I say, this Chinese restaurant for me is the best among all the Chinese resto I've ever been. All their foods are so delectable with generous amount of servings. Their prices are reasonable and the ambiance is nice and quite casual during the day and classy during night. I always recommend this resto to my friends and they totally agree with me regarding the taste of food.
To rate this 1-10 10 being the highest...I'll give it a 9.5.
No meat buns. Yet service and ambiance is to be considered. The staff are well mannered and very accommodating. But no meat buns 😔.
And no food for a single person all in groups.
It was last October of 2015 when we dined here with the whole family. Our original plan was at a buffet restaurant in scout tobias. Shangri-la restaurant was 2nd on our reservation list.
What I can say about this restaurant is that they don’t charge a corkage fee for cakes. Yey!
Also, their food is somehow awesome as well, same taste like what I ate from the early 2000’s
Place for me is a 3.5, same thing as before. Although, I would suggest for renovation because of its super old school feel. Yeah
Then the food is very bright when served, I bet they put a lot of butter for it to achieve a shiny contrast when served on every guests.
For a big group like us, especially me alone, food serving is kinda lacking in quantity or maybe I’m just matakaw and stuff.
Overall, yea, a good place to dine with family fantabulous but not that super wow for me.
If your living in Q.C. try to consider this one!
O yeah!~

My mom recommend this place where I can celebrate my 18th birthday. The food were delicious and full of flavor. The place is very comfy. Overall, this place is good.
I went here with my family. It was Sunday morning and we are looking for something authentic with old school feels. So here it is:) We ordered, appetizer and variety of meat plus the century egg my favorite:) The soup is very flavorful. The taste is authentic chinese, The place is nice! The price is not bad, actually worth it. I also found out that Pope John Paul II ate here before:) Nice!
I used my 4k worth of GC's when I came here with a friend along with her siblings. It was my treat back then. My favorite beverage here is their fresh orange juice. I don't know why but I really love it! Everytime were here I always order that. I love everything that's on their menu. It's just that maybe they can make their place more alive. Yeah its fine dining but you know sometimes the place looks plain and boring. And one thing, I didn't make any reservations when we visited so our seating is on the inner part. Then one where private reservations/parties are being held. The surrounding in that particular area is a little bit boring. The airconditioning is not that very accomodating for the amount of their avid customers. But that's just in the inner part of the place. All in all I am and always will be in love with Shang. Definitely will come back for more.
Been here years ago when my bro in law got married.. the reception was held there... the foods are good but i love most their chicken and yang chow fried rice
