Love the tonkatsu pork broth, very flavorful
Love the black ramen. Made from my squid ink if I’m not mistaken. Perfect with ice cold beer! I appreciate that we were seated right away.

THE BEST SERVICE EVER. ✨
I always love it when they greet me and welcome me home. The manager is friendly and has accommodated all of my requests.
I kinda missed the Original King Butao, had it customized to my liking. It was really tasty, and the broth is soooo flavorful. Add a bit of a spicy kick to it.
Also, try out the Red King and make it a x10 spicy level. It's not really the strong kind of chili so it's fine.
We went here for their birthday promo (on your birthday month, their butao ramen would be buy 1 take 1). At first glance, the price of their ramen is a bit overwhelming (P400-P500) as compared to other japanese restaurants (~P300). However, the quality of the ramen is in par with what you've paid for.
What I like about ramen nagi is you can freely customize your bowl according to your likeness. I've ordered just the normal portions of everything to try their basic taste. The soup was very flavorful even with just a "normal" broth. Everything was already so filling that I didn't manage to finish my meal. Another thing to note is the condiments served on the dining table. There were a lot of things you could add to your meal (sesame seeds, umami vinegar, pepper, etc...) I don't know if it was only during our stay but the place was kind of hot? I think the air conditioner was broken. Over-all, for the price, you can expect to get quality ramen and service. :)
Asides for being oily, RAMEN NAGI is the best. Just don't order the sausage king and definitely don't go on Ayala mall feliz branch.😂
RED KING IS THE BESTT!!!!!!!!
One of the best Ramen here in PHILIPPINES.. the soup is thick and the flavors will really satisfy your palette. The noodles and meat is really good tasting and filling.
First time here in UP Town
Gyoza is just okay
Wild cheesy king is my 2nd favorite limited king (1st is tomato king). The broth is curry, hope we can request for more cheese.
Always the best comfort food on soupy days!:)
I always order for the Black King as it texture and umami creeps to the bones.. Don’t forget to add more spice and garlic on it! ☺️
Dropped by during a rainy day to get a bowl of hot ramen! Comfort food at its finest. Was able to get a seat quickly and ordered the black king ramen. Full of aromo and good flavors! Recommend that you try it!
First of all, if you are a ramen snob (you know the type--the ones who've been to Japan and have nothing good to say about any Japanese food outside it), you will not enjoy Ramen Nagi. It's definitely not traditional Japanese ramen, despite the marketing, but it IS good food.
I always eat the Red King when I'm here, with extra tamago and noodles. Sure, it's a carb binge, but if you're feeling sickly or it's cold out, it will hit the spot.
The staff in all Ramen Nagi branches I've been to (SM North, SM MOA, and the UP Town Center branch that I frequent the most) are pleasant and unobtrusive, though sometimes they're a bit harried because of the volume of customers. Be patient if the place is at full capacity (peak hours, weekends).
I do think the food is pretty pricey for what you get and the drink offerings could be better, but overall you'll get a good experience here.
I don't eat ramen because I always think that it's too salty but this ramen tastes very nice. Not too salty. Noodles are not soggy.
BEST ramen house. It's pricey though. Worth every penny.
Generous serving.
Has large seating capacity.
❤ Best pick/s: Butao-Gyoza Set, Original King and Red King 😍
Before I didn't really appreciate Ramen Nagi, I thought the idea that sharing tables and being in an enclosed space was not really appealing. After years it still isnt. But what changed is how I feel about their ramen.
We ordered the Butao King, their classic tonkotsu ramen. It was creamy and rich with the firm noodles, it's even better when you add tamago.
Their gyoza though is somewhat dry because of how they serve it in a sizzling plate. Some parts of the gyoza even stick to the plan and it just losses its moisture.
Will be back to try their other offerings.
This restaurant will always be my favorite go to place whenever I crave for Ramen! The serving time is reasonable and the food is consistently good.
Butao king for the win!
Ramen Nagi proves time and time again that it is one of the best ramen places in the country. They offer various bowls of rich flavor and mouth watering spices. The customize feature of their ramen is definitely a plus. We ate here last Sunday and availed their current birthday promo - free Butao for the birthday celebrant (but the other paying adult should also buy a Butao) when he claims it on his birthday month.
Their side dishes are also a bomb. We tried the chicken karaage (7 spice) and it did not disappoint. 😋
P.S. Love their tables because you can hang your bags underneath or store it inside your chair (some chairs are like boxes). Just don’t forget it when you leave the store. 🤣
For tonight’s dinner, Mia and I finally used our Ramen Nagi vouchers. The staff accepted them without any hesitation. I’ve been to their other stores, the staff accommodation has been really consistent and friendly.
I tried their special ramen this month, Tom Yum (Php 480) while Mia tried the Black King (Php 410) for the very first time. She normally gets what she is accustomed to, the Butao King (Php 390).
Tom Yum was good but it wasn’t similar to the Malaysian flavor at all. It lacked heat, other spices, and acidity. The Black King, on the other hand, is my fave here and for some reason, it lacked a bolder taste this time around.
The Chicken Karaage was a winning appetizer. It had a nice crunch, ample meat and seasoned well. I suggest getting this instead of the customary Gyoza.
Ramen nagi is always reliable when you're in the mood for good and rich ramen. I tried their oyster king ramen and the broth had the taste of oyster but I was expecting a little more actual oysters. The noodles were very good and they allow you the freedom to customize your order.
Amazing. Ito lang ang branch na pinupuntahan ko. And knowing na taga South pa ako. The experience was great and I get to eat here with loved ones. Minsan madami tao pero sulit, mabilis ang service at di ka naman napapabayaan.
What I Had: Ramen Nagi Green King (Pesto Midori)
What I Liked / Didn't Like:
Having basil, olive oil, and cheese on one's ramen does look unusual, but turned out to be a good combination. The pesto flavor is evident without cancelling the essential experience of ramen and its basic ingredients.
A must for someone who wants to try a good alternative to all other ramen places here in the metro. 👍🏼
Honestly i didn't like the food since i have really high standards when it comes to ramen. It was edible though.
What I like is the outside seating and they allowed our dogs to stay and even gave water!! Love the service ❤️
Earlier in 2018, my boyfriend and I ate at a popular ramen place, one that's often pitted against Ramen Nagi. We loved our experience there but we remained curious as to what #TeamRamenNagi were raving about. We chanced upon a limited time offer for the Silver King at UPTC, and it so happened that my BF had just got his 13th month pay. Feeling generous, he partially treated me to some katsu Rolls, and we split a bowl of Silver King with extra noodles plus an egg.
What I loved about this place was how attentive the staff are. It reminded me of the service at Ippudo and Yabu. I also liked how we could split a bowl of ramen--sulit!!
The katsu rolls were amazing. Pricey but hehe it's a guilty pleasure. The ramen itself was good! Once you get past the fishy smell (it's sardines, duh), the Silver King is a simple but delicious bowl of goodness that puts the taste of sardines and the goodness of the noodles front and center. No distractions. Except for the soy egg that was definitely better than the one at its main competitor. Haha!
All in all our Ramen Nagi experience was great and we'd love to come back soon to try the other offerings! The ramen journey continues....
I've been here several times already but this is the first time I'm writing a review. This is my go-to comfort food. The size of their ramen is just right. Not too big but not bitin. Your bowl of ramen can be customised according to your preference whether you want firm or soft noodles, spicy or not spicy broth, and what part of the pork you like among others. I just stick to Original King (butao) and our kids prefer their original chicken karaage. But my husband loves experimenting with different flavors. Today he ordered Green King and he said it was also good.

Ramen Nagi is still my family’s go to place when we are craving for some sumptuous ramen and chicken karaage. Their staff are very accommodating and polite too!
My top Ramen house up to date.
Food - 5. Yum and satisfying.
Ambiance - 4. A bit tight as most of ramen house are.
Service - 5. Servers are very attentive and accomodating.
Order: Original Butao King (still the best)
Can't spot anything wrong with ramen nagi. Yes, you can always play it safe and get the butao king, but the full ramen nagi experience is obtained with the three other flavors. My favorite ramen of all time hails from here - their Black Butao, which was a playful spin at the roasted garlic ramen! And you can't really say you're getting sick of the flavor, as almost anything in your ramen is customizable!
Was my first time to eat ramen and this place did not fail me.
I had my first ever Ramen with them. Staffs were polite even to new customers like me. I had no idea in Ramen, they were very accomodating :)
Ramen is certainly one of the best go-to food come gloomy weather. In the Katipunan area, Ramen Nagi is always one of the most wanted places for ramen.
Food: 4 | I got to try the Butao ramen, and it was so good! You can actually "customize" the flavor of your ramen to your liking, but you can also always choose the chef's recommendation. I opted for the latter tonight, and it was a good decision on my part, too. I guess besides the flavor, the best parts go to the noodles -- it was firm in a just right manner... if that even makes sense.
Place: 4 | Great place, awesome ventilation.
Service: 4 | I certainly loved how attentive the crew were. They were also really polite, and patiently amswered all our questions regarding the menu.
Price: 3 | It was certainly quite expensive, but I think the food, place, and the service justify it.
Awesome place! Would lobe to come back.

Ramen Nagi was a part of our Food Crawl last year.
And still Ramen Nagi never fails to satisfy my ramen cravings. I tried their Classic Butao Ramen.
I love the simplicity of it, from the broth up to the meat and noodles.
I first tried their Butao in SM Baguio which unfortunately I cannot review as it isn't available on Zomato.
I was pretty much excited to try Ramen Nagi again at the nearest branch from my place and it did not disappoint. By far my favorite ramen place EVER when in Manila! I tried the black squid ink this time and it was amazing! Try this if you do not like the overly pork broth that the Butao provides. (I loved the butao but after some time upon finishing my bowl then, I felt a bit of "suya" from the pork broth.)
The only thing I have to comment on here was the staff. They were definitely LESS friendly, warm & personable than the ones in Baguio. At this branch you just get seated and they were in a hurry to take your order (it wasn't a busy time) without even asking us if we are familiar with their SOP in customizing ramen. Service was swift I will give them that. The food was great, no doubt about that. I cannot say I will not be back especially because of its proximity to my place. However if the Baguio branch, or any other branch was just a stone's throw away, then I will definitely choose that over this one. Hope they can improve on their customer service. After all, it isn't just about great food...some clients also want to feel warmth from the staff for a better dining experience.
FOOD 4/5
SERVICE 3/5
By far the best ramen house I've tried. I love the idea of being able to "control" what goes in my ramen. And personally, I like it really spicy so this is the only ramen house that gave me that "real kick". But I'm really a spicy eater, sooo be careful if you're not! All in all, I'm giving them 5 stars!
Ramen was great. I had the green king or the midorio a fusion of fresh basil and olive oil with delectable tonkastu broth in a truly unique combination, lavishly garnished with grated parmesan cheese and richly marbled chashu.
A bowl of ramen is good for two especially for those people who has an appetite like mine. Too bad the ramen is not allowed for take out.
Overall the dining experience was great.
Near my workplace so we usually go here whenever we crave for ramen. Ramen Nagi is one of the best ramen places for me. But for this branch in UPTC, one time I saw a cockroach on the floor. Another group of customers also saw it. We were leaving then so I didn’t have the chance to report to their management. And another time I got a small plastic in my ramen. Reported it to the management and I had that ramen free of charge. So everytime I’m craving for ramen I’m hesitating to go to this branch but if limited by time constraints I still eat here anyway. It’s still Ramen Nagi and taste is king. Just hoping that no more issues come up.
One of the tastiest ramen around Manila. Tasty ramen, refreshing salad, and crunchy chicken karaage. Their set meals are a bonus with ramen, chicken karaage or gyoza with three side dishes. Highly recommend to come here.
My brother was craving for ramen last saturday and since this was the nearest noodle bar in our place we gave it shot. I love how they decorated the entrance. It immediately makes you feel like you'll have a taste of japan. The crew was very accommodating. Everyone greeted us enthusiastically upon being seated and we felt the warm reception instantly. We ordered the butao and the black king. The butao was really good which surpassed my brother's expectation but the black king just did not hit the spot for me. Overall it was a good experience because my brother really got his noodle fix.
I am not a ramen lover but they have served the best ramen i have tasted so far. The staffs were very friendly. The place is too dim for me.
Price of the food: good
The serving was huge so you'll surely get full. The price is maybe a bit high but yea, you get what you paid for. Serving time was just right and the place is nice. They also offer lots of diff kinds of food.

First ramen restaurant and I like it! First, we ordered their bestseller Butao King, which has pork bone broth and pork slices, and an extra bowl of noodles. Since it was our first time, we went with the chef's recommendation and it was absolutely worth it. Spice level can still be increased or decreased depending on your preference, but the default Level One is fine if non-spice people and spice lovers want to share a bowl. The broth is rich and tasty, although it gets a tad too salty if it is left too cool for a long time. Getting an extra bowl of noodles wrings the most out of the broth and makes it enough to share for three people.
We also ordered the chashu rice, original chicken karaage, and a bowl of plain rice. The chashu rice is brown Japanese rice with pork toppings, and though tasty, is a bit too salty for my taste. Also, I honestly believe that 60 pesos is too much for a bowl of plain rice is too expensive, but it's fluffy, sticky, and well-cooked; plus, it can be shared by two people--I'm accounting for the additional carbs from the noodles.
The chicken karaage is a huge winner. It holds its crunch and taste even after cooling and has enough pieces to not make three people cheated out of its golden crispy goodness. It has other flavors like matcha, curry, and 7 spices, but I'm a bit hesitant to try them haha.
The servers are friendly and the place feels relaxing even when it is crowded. I think the playlist is a mix of anime opening/closing songs but I'm not really sure.
What can i say. The best, by far. I can eat Butao with shoulder everyday. Amazing flavor! Nothing like it. This tops our list, our favorite ramen, amen! 😊😋 ❤💓💕
I love the fact that you get to choose how your ramen is going to be prepared at ramen nagi. If you're not sure how to go about it, the Chef's recommendation is there to save you time.
For my first order at this ramen place, I chose Butao (original king) with a spice level of 5 and additional tamago. The broth was flavorful but not too rich, and both the noodles and meat were perfectly cooked. I also got to try the Gyoza which were amazing!
Overall experience was great, and I will definitely go back to try thr Red King. Let's see if it is spicy enough for me. ;)
This is so far the best ramen place for me here in Metro Manila!!
I’ve tried different popular ramen restos and michelin star ramen but Ramen Nagi will be my forever! Char hahaha
The soup is rich and tasty
The pork belly is moist and tender
The noodles are cooked just right
The egg is really tasty
Their nagi chips are 💯
I’m lost for words because so far, this is the only place I’m giving 5 stars!!
Way to go, Ramen Nagi! 👍
This place is usually where i go to for my ramen cravings. The staff are good. The place is usually full during weekends and around late afternoon.. The ramen types are superb. My favorite is the black king ramen. It has squid on it. But if you are hesitant to try it coz of the black ink.. try their original ramen (butao).. You can't go wrong with it. 😃 ambience is good.. Casual dining. The place is well lit and has a japanese feel to it.
You can customize your ramen to your liking. From the noodle's texture to the level of spicyness. Or you can just ask for the Chef's recommendation.
The pork katsu rolls are yummy! Just the right sweetness and crunch. The chicken karaage is also yummy.
BEST RAMEN 🍜
I really do suggest you get the Red King because the spice us just absolutely divine! The richness of the soup is amazing, the texture of the noodles are excellent! Would I suggest that you’d order side dishes? Honestly- no. Enjoy the ramen. It’s already heavy as hell. But oh my god- this is the best ramen house. It might be pricey but it’s definitely worth it.
Their interiors are basically the same with every branch though I've noticed that this branch had more room compared to the one in SM Mall of Asia.
I ordered the Original King (Butao) while my boyfriend took the Green King (Midorio). The Butao was the basic one hence its name "Original King". The Butao's soup was not as overpowering compared to the Midorio on why I liked it, but both had perfectly cooked thin noodles. The meat was not hard to chew and the additionally ordered boiled egg was flavorful since it was boiled with green tea (I think?).
On the first part of eating the noodles, I thought that the noodles weren't enough and I needed to order more noodles when I finish it, but I was wrong, you'd feel full right after finishing the whole thing.
Ramen Nagi at UPTC serves one of the best ramen noodle menus around the UP Diliman area. Staff service is excellent and food quality is top notch. Ambience is near Japanese authentic looking in as far as deco is concerned. Will definitely come back to this place very soon 👍👍👍
This is a legit japanese ramen place! 😍 I really can't get enough of the superb rich taste of the ramen broth (sarap higupin 😝). Perfect for cold weather talaga mga bes.. brrrrr 😁 plus points as well for being able to customize your ramen fix to your liking. 🍜
And of course being a sucker for fried chicken, their chicken karaage is so oishii (ako lang umubos 😂).
Definitely worth a visit everytime you need to satisfy your ramen cravings. Tabemashoo!👌
TL;DR - Consistently great tasting, flavorful ramen plus a short serving time made for a delightful experience.
Ramen Nagi probably serves the most flavorful ramen around, that's why a lot people like it. The taste is very different from other ramen shops, but one could argue that the other shops serve more authentic ramen than Nagi does. Nevertheless, you can't deny that their broth, pork belly (much better vs the pork shoulder), and noodles are very very delicious.
The place is a little small and can get packed during peak hours. Tables are spaced a bit too close to each other as well. Service was just okay, nothing spectacular but not bad as well.
We ordered the Original King and the chicken karaage matcha flavor. A hot bowl of ramen was the perfect ending to our busy day. It was our first time at Ramen Nagi and since we really had a tiring day, we asked help with how to proceed with ordering. They hand you the menu with a small clipboard checklist so you can customize your ramen. Maybe I'll try customizing next time. We simply went with the Chef's recommendation this time, and we were not disappointed. The broth was flavorful but not too overwhelming with flavors, and the noodles were perfect! I tried adding chili powder and the mustard leaves condiment too. The salad that came with the chicken karaage was fresh; however, I had an issue with the chicken. The staff was so accommodating and our issue was quickly addressed. Overall, it was a great experience and we went home feeling full and energized. By the way, it was also a thoughtful touch that they placed baskets under the chairs for guests to securely place their belongings while dining. Will surely come back to this ramen place :-)
Another Ramen heaven you can visit anytime. If you are missing Japan’s authentic Ramen then this is one of the closest Ramen house in the Philippines you can go. I bet I can devour 2 bowls of that original king, with 3 plates of delish gyoza. Now I’m hungry for some Ramen again! 😭
I ordered Shoyu Ramen and I was satisfied with the kind of product I tasted, the pork was tender and very tasty, the broth was like molten pork mixed with the garnishings of ramen. Its the type of broth that would solidify if you let it set (Im not kidding, this actually happened) short of saying Its very satisfying, and filling for that matter, I wasnt even able to finish my bowl !
I have frequented UP Town Center Ramen Nagi being near my home. Quick service, nice ambiance, right crowd and atmosphere and of course, great ramen!
Have tried their Original King before and I really liked it. This time I decided to try their Green King since I'm a huge fan of pesto. Turns out that pesto is better used in pasta than ramen. It tasted okay but I would choose the original over this.
My brother tried the Black King and boy, how I wish that was what I ordered. It was so good. Will definitely come back for this
Dined on September 17 at around 2PM.
Nice ambiance and well ventilated, however a little too crowded for my liking. Seating queue was just under

Ramen Nagi is one of my top five favorite ramen places in Metro Manila. It's definitely not number 1, but it's up there.
In terms of food, we've tried Butao, which is their original pork broth noodles and my hubby's preferred version of ramen; Akao, my personal favorite since I love spicy food; and Gyoza, which is not a standout, to be honest, and quite plainly-tasting.
Service was good and the place is nice, though it's almost always packed.
I hope they can introduce other food items in their menu.
Red King was delicious. It has just the right level of spicy. The Chicken Karaage is just how I like it. I will be sure to come back here. 😍
Craving for Ramen? Ramen Nagi is your place to be 😊
Food: I tried Butao King, it was deliciously prepared with the right mix of ingredients. They will actually have you fill out a form to determine how you want it done. I had mine with just the normal and right amount of base and toppings.
Service: The staffs were corteous and attentive. We were immediately seated, and the food was served quickly than the average amount of waiting time.
Ambience: Closest thing you'll have here in the PH.
Value for money: Sulit. If you are not a fan of ramen but would like to try it first time, try it in Ramen Nagi and you'll soon find yourself craving for more 😊
Judgment: It's worth coming back. Just thinking about it had me hungry and craving for more Ramen.
This is my personal favorite Ramen store here in the Philippines, it is the best next thing to the original one that you get from Japan. The taste, texture, quality of ingredients is top notch! This is a must for every japanese foodie. I recommend the Original King and the red king if you want something spicier.
Ramen nagi's Green King is still one of my favorite ramen. An infusion of pesto and tonkotsu broth flavor, perfect for pesto lovers like me. They really don't skimp on ingredients, you can tell. Everything, from the broth to the veggies, is really good! Choose 'hard' on the omotenashi sheet for the noodles to get the best noodle experience (for me). I've tried the Butao and Black King before, the butao is good for first timers who don't have an idea yet on what to order, it's their classic (Try it with level 5 spiciness and heavy garlic and special sauce, it’s amazing). Black King is for people who are wondering what a squid ink ramen tastes like. I also love Red King, it’s my next favorite after Green King, the broth is heavenly. For the serving size, it's quite big compared to other places.
Recently visited their UP town branch, I love their new chairs! They have this built-in basket underneath for storing your bags, very convenient!
It was actually the first time I encountered ramen this thick! Serving size was good. I regret not taking any photos because their presentation looks phenomenal.
For my order, I had the Red King (I was about to pick level 1 spicy but good thing the staff told me that it was level 5 spicy at default) so it was set at 0 spicy. Don't worry, it's just as spicy as the ramen you buy in the groceries. But its quality is not of a cheap one. If you like ramen with thick soup, this is your go-to place! One slurp is already filling.
🔴👑 My preferences for Red King (normal richness, 0 spicy, a little garlic, normal special sauce, normal noodles, pork belly)
My friend ordered Black King (1 spicy, hard noodles, pork belly, no garlic, normal special sauce, normal richness) - I had a taste of it, even though I'm not exactly a fan of squid ink I can still tell it's good but I prefer the latter anyway)
TL;DR:
Food: 🍜🍜🍜🍜.5
Service: 🍜🍜🍜.5
Ambiance: 🍜🍜🍜 (place is crowded)
Price: 🍜🍜🍜.5
My exact rating for Ramen Nagi would be 4.3, still good.
Best place to get a ramen fix if you're really craving and under a budget. Or at least from my experience, since there isn't a lot of ramen places in Katip.
Didn't wait long to get a seat. The place is nice and very cozy. Service is great also. Food is worth it's price although it's a bit pricey. Will keep coming back!
Getting a table: they have a lot of available table so it's easy to get one.
Food: Very good broth, you can't take your ramen noodles leftover home though, it's prohibited. They give you mini clipboards and write down your orders and your ramen options like the noodles firmness, the spiciness etc. My 9-year old son really liked it. It's a bit expensive though but it’s worth it!
Overall Experience: oishi-desu!
UP Town is an amazingly well done community mall, and, if not for that fact that it's not my local hood, and traffic + parking could be horrendous on weekends, I'd be here more often (which is why I'm looking forward to Vertis North). One weekday last week, I braved strong rain (and ballsy to do so whilst color coding) to meet someone in Costa. After the meeting, I was craving for ramen. Adjacent is Ramen Nagi, one of the top places in town, so it was fortuitous.
Their limited edition at the time is the Crab King, in which the Ramen is made of crab flavored tonkotsu broth, Nori (seaweed) and a big deep fried Softshell Crab on top. Yowza! I fell in love with Softshell Crab years ago with Omakase's Spider Maki, so.... Here we go.😊
By the way, 15 to 20 minutes to prepare isn't exactly nice to hear when you're having your LATE LATE lunch at 4pm, but I've made it this far... So what the hell, right? (their 4 staple ramen's are served super fast)
I think I made the right choice with this bad boy!!!
Ramen Nagi and Limited Edition Crab King, at a Glance: (rating in numbers or in 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟)
> Food & Beverage: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 crab king rocks. The crab taste with tonkotsu is likely through some essence of crab like an oil or sauce. Works, though it can get cloying after a while. Plus I wish I added one more protein like pork shoulder. Despite the big Softshell Crab, it felt a bit short.
> Service (Dine-In): 🌟🌟 the greeter was good, but the resto lacked the usual enthusiasm and professionalism I've come to expect of Ramen Nagi. The guy I spoke with was, ummm, not terribly friendly and unresponsive (aka dedma). Ugh. Ramen Nagi needs to retrain staff. Had similar problems at Magnolia branch last year.
> Kitchen Service: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 what can I say, they did the ramen within the time they told me, the quality was there, and I liked the limited edition ramen.
> Ambience: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 as expected. Bigger than the usual Ramen Nagi's I've been (save for Greenbelt 2)
> Value for Money: 🌟🌟🌟 Ramen Nagi is never cheap. This is no exception. I spent over P500 with SC and tax.
OVERALL: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 If the Ramen wasn't very good, the sub-par service would have brought it down to a 3, easily.
___________
> Worth a try - Yes
> Worth a return - sure, though not this branch necessarily, but Ramen Nagi is always quality stuff despite not making it to my top 3 Ramen's. Plus it will come up with 3 locally inspired Ramen's (looking forward sa Bicol Express one). I love their ballsiness and their continuous innovation.
> TIPS: among their core 4 Ramen's, the Black King for me is the best! I prefer soft noodles, instead of regular; note that this is the Ramen joint that allows a great deal of customization across 7 factors. When in doubt, go Chef's Reco. As you get more familiar, you will know your preference. I usually go with pork belly vs. shoulder, soft noodles, 0 factor spicy and one level more rich.
> VERDICT: only legit Ramen joint in UP Town. 'Nuff said.
One of the best ramen shop in the Philippines. The best thing about their shop is that you could customize your ramen like the firmness of your noodles as well as the toppings. Their ramen broth is rich and delicious.
Ramen Nagi's indeed one of my favorite ramen experience so far. Lovin' their super rich and tasty broth complimented by different spices. Meat tenders are awesome! Most of all, the noodles are my most favorite. 😍
Heard this place was good. I tried the butao king. Their ramen is customizable but opted for the chef's recommendation. I loved their ramen. The broth was just light and delicious. Had the belly as my meat. Melts in your mouth. Have never enjoyed solid pork fat on my ramen as much. Excellent.
i'm not a fan of ramen, but Ramen Nagi made me change my mind (and heart, maybe)...servings are just right, price is ok...nice place for catching up with friends...
Ramen Nagi has been one of my favorites eversince Japanese ramen joints invaded our country.
Earlier, I ordered their Limited King which is their Tonkatsumen. I hope that they include their tsukemen on their permanent menu.
Food: 4.0/5.0
Really depends on what you like because you could customize from the noodles to the level of spice. Choose chef's recommendation if you cannot decide.
The other food are just okay. I think they use kewpie for their mayo so it tastes different when you use it as a dip for your karaage.
Ambiance: 4.0/5.0
Be ready to share tables with people you dont know during crowded times!

Had a nice time here with my niece. Ordered their best-selling Butao and my always favorite, gyoza. The serving size is on point. Will try the other variants when I head this way again.

Tag: Ramen and Gyoza this way please.... 👉🏻
It's a fad and I think ramen has find its way to Filipino's palette and it's becoming an option when it used to be Chinese food, Pinoy food, American now there's ramen anyone?
We had:
Butao King (chef's recommendation) pork based, white soup, slightly spicy very refreshing and tastes great too, though I wish it would have been served hotter
Gyoza rich taste, not too oily heathy since filled with greens and pork enriched with its gingery taste that goes well with its soy sauce one of the good taste Gyoza I've tried so far
Pork Katsu Roll crispy katsu, tender meat inside top with sweet creamy sauce good way to break the ramen routine
For all who's looking for good tasting ramen again go this way 😋
Limited selection but good quality, great tasting ramen, good service and ambience. Expect to shell out around p500 per person but it will be worth it ☺
You can never go wrong with Ramen Nagi's Butao and Gyoza. The place was nice and the staff as well. As usual the place is jump packed so during peak hours you'll have to wait patiently outside but waiting isn't so bad as you can devour their heaven-sent ramen. How I wish they could bring back their Tsukemen.

I love that there are new ramen restos that are really authentic popping up in the metro now. This is one of those authentic ramen house that I love. Their serving is very filling good for sharing
For a ramen fanatic, I really love their king butao! The creaminess and richness of the flavor really suites my taste. The customization of ramen is a really good idea as well. Their crews are really friendly and accommodating. The ambiance of the store was great as well. My family and I totally loved it. Will definitely be back for more
Service was fast and brisk. We ordered the original butao - I liked that you can customize your order preferences. Broth was rich and flavorful, noodles done just right. Very filling and satisfying. Resto a bit noisy though, probably not the best place to linger for long conversations.
Got the most basic ramen on the menu, the Original King Butao with Tamago on the side. The broth was rich and almost "creamy". The noodles were a little bit overcooked. But, it was a good bowl of ramen! But honestly speaking, for me I think it's a bit overpriced for the overall quality.
I go for Ramen Nagi more than Ippudo. I hate that I got addicted with Nagi's Red King 'coz I'm craving & giving into it at least once a week :(
I tried eating here just to know if there is a difference in the taste of ramen when you eat in a different branch.. hahahahaha i was wrong ofcourse! lol But i like the gyoza here much better than the ramen nagi resto in sm north. i also like their chickens karaage?? i dont know the name of it. but the mayo dip in it is authentic:)) my friend brought his mayo from japan and it tastes like their mayo!:) from all the -king ramen they have, my all time favorite is the red king (cause i love spicy food) still i love the mendokoro ramenba other than anything else. i have to try other ramen spots! maybe there will be something much delicious than mendokoro ramenba hahahaaha..
It is actually my first time to try the authentic ramen and this one left me with a wonderful food experience. It is best eaten during rainy season and we did try it. We ordered their best selling ramen and it is so good. The flavor is so rich and the noddles were cooked well. They also have different variety of extra toppings like egg cabbage green onion etc. I can't wait for my next visit.
Gyoza are dumplings filled with ground meat and vegetables and wrapped in a thin dough. Also known as pot stickers, gyoza originated in China (where they are called jiaozi), but have become a very popular dish in Japan. The typical gyoza filling consists of ground pork, nira chives, green onion, cabbage, ginger, garlic, soy sauce and sesame oil, but some creative gyoza shops have also come up with a range of other fillings.

It's not that obvious that i am a frequent customer at Nagi. I have tried the four Ramen Variants they have, even some of the sides. This review is all about the Gyoza. I've tried others, but Nagi is the most flavorful. Perfect proportions of meat and vegetables. Perfect harmony of flavors. Best paired with spicy dipping sauce.
Nagi's Gyoza is another option for some who wants to eat something different at a Ramen Joint.
A week ago, me and my friends went at Ramen Nagi at UP Town Center for a dinner.
Ramen Nagi is known for their famous big and tasty bowl of ramen. I've been hearing and reading lots of postiive feedbacks from this restaurant so glad I was able to finally try this last week.
Went there at dinner time on a Saturday and the place is a bit full. Staffs were very accomodating and friendly.
We were given a check list on how we would want our ramen cooked.
Btw, they have a standard 4 ramen which are the Butao King, Black King, Red King and Green King.
We both got the Original King (Butao) (Php390) with Rich Taste, Normal sauce, Normal garlic, Green Onion and Hard noodles.
Grace and I got the one with the Belly part and Level 1 of spiciness. While Rina and her sister got the Shoulder part and 1/2 level of spiciness.
Both are very rich in flavors, tasty and yummy. I had to add a little curry powder on my ramen to a little more spicy kick. Love it! :)
Overall, even though we only ordered 2 ramen bowls and even shared, we were all full and had a great time dining here. I would love to try their other ramen in the future :)

Butao King + normal richness of broth + normal special sauce + pork belly + spicy level 2 + green onion + normal noodles = 🙆🙅🙆 happy tummy
We often go here to satisfy our Ramen cravings 😋 they offer different varieties and you may also want to customize it on your liking. Really love their Red king and Butao for my daughter. Haven't tried their black king yet. Next visit i will ☺ we love everything about this ramen house from their menu to customer service. Clean spacious area and doesnt look cramped even when they're packed. No take outs or extra soup but you can order extra noodles :) you may be on waiting list on peak hours! Perfect for our always rainy weather, quick eats and family eat-outs!
Among all the ramen places I have eaten this is the best for me!
I got the miso based. Serving size was just right even the taste is just perfect!
It may not be that affordable but for the price is what you get.
When I crave for Ramen I always go for Ramen Nagi👍
I super love Ramen Nagi to the point that me and my boyfriend ate there once every week for a month! Super love the Original Butao King. I used to eat it with spicy #4 but it was too spicy for me so yesterday I ate with #2 instead but it was still too spicy. Nonetheless, it's one of my favorite restaurants still!
