I like the way their grills are set up, if only it had those ventallation shafts so you wouldn't smell like bbq after eating.
Best korean buffet i've tried. They have a wide selection of other side dishes and mains available that you can eat with the meat. Fast service and they maintain the cleanliness of their restaurant.
I always eat here for my korean beef cravings because of the non-stick pans they have. No burns on the beef at all times. This is where I learned kimchi rice taste excellent
Donday is a Korean style buffet with a fusion of Filipino favorites on their menu. Yup, it's in Quezon City. What's in for you here is that they even have a shabu shabu for those who'd like to try soup! My arirang team decided to dine here and i'm sharing you my review: . As it is designed for group meals, they have spacious tables with plenty of chairs. Their Korean buffet caters about 30 different dishes and plenty of meat choices for grilling. I am surprised that they also served squid.
We waited in the line for more than an hour, which is normal in samgyupsal establishments here in the Philippines.
The food was okay.
I don't feel comfortable with their long tables because you have to sit with other people.
We were here last night to celebrate my sister’s birthday because she want’s to try Korean food this time. And yes, the craving is satisfied because of the variety of foods they offer besides on the grill meat wrap with leaves.. ahhh such a delightful meal. My kids enjoyed it too.. There’s a lady “Ajumma” gave them some Korean bread. The staff is attentive too.

I also actually read different reviews from their FB page before going there. And it's all true! Aside from their unli Korean BBQ meat, they also have unli shabu shabu for each table, plus a buffet area which offers different kinds of food.
🍴The first part of the buffet area include varieties of pasta & fried noodles (spaghetti, carbonara, japchae, a mix of Pinoy & Korean viands (shanghai rolls, japchae spring rolls, fish sticks, tofu in oyster sauce, etc.) and diff. Korean side dishes. The second part includes soup, steamed rice, fried rice, diff. Korean sauces, fresh vegetables (lettuce, baby potatoes, white onions, tomatoes, etc.), varieties of fresh fruits and desserts! Yes they have desserts like coffee jelly, buko pandan, fruit salad, ginataang bilo-bilo, and many more. The shabu shabu's fresh shrimp & meat or veggies are also available upon request. All these for a very affordable price of Package 1: 499 for unli pork + buffet or Package 2: 599 for unli pork, beef & squid + buffet. And unlike all other Korean BBQ restos, Don Day Fresh lets you choose marinated or non-marinated meat. Downside is, they don't have a list of the different meat cuts. So sometimes they just give you random if you don't specify what kind of meat do you like whenever they replenish your plate.
🏚But another good thing about this place is the place itself. Very spacious parking outside & dining area inside. It's not crowded even if it's a popular place unlike other unli Korean BBQ restos in the metro, where you have to wait for a long time to be seated. There's a lot of available seats even if we went there on a Saturday night.
👥The staff were also very friendly & approachable. They immediately assist you once you enter the resto to ask each & everyone of their package choice. They also responses quickly whenever you ask for another meat either for BBQ and/or shabu shabu. Some of them started conversing with us asking us if we need anything else. All of them seems very nice except for one guy whom we asked if he could take our group photo before we leave. When we asked for the first time, he said to wait because he was already started cleaning the table in front of us. When we asked for the second time, he refused with a grumpy face & told us to ask the others instead. And to our dismay, we just left & went home already.
Probably the most worth it Korean BBQ. 499 for unlimited pork (599 with beef), shabu shabu, sides, and other buffet dishes which include pasta, grilled chicken, sisig, pork shanghai, noodles and soups, desserts, fruits, rice, etc. They serve marinated and plain meat. Very consistent in terms of service and food quality.
This is one of our family's earliest go-to samgyupsal places and is actually our favorite for a long time.
Reasons awere:
1. Very cheap as compared to other buffets
2. Unlike other samgyup places, they actually have a buffet of cooked korean food which are really yummy. (This is a huge factor bec we usually are already so hungry that we want to eat while cooking our samgyup)
3. They also sell korean ice creaaams
4. And the delicious cooked food.
However when we recently came back, there was a huge hike in the price and we were disappointed because it was already at the same level of pricing of other buffets but the food choices werent as many.
Anyway, if you're looking for samgyup places, consider that they actually serve only plain pork or beef meet, unlike with samgyupsalamat with variety of meat. 😊
This is my favorite korean resto so far!!! They have wide selection of food in the buffet area aside from the unlimited pork and beef. What's new about them is that they already have marinated meats, squid rings and shabu shabu for the same price of 599.00. Isn't it a best deal? So if you're craving or just wanna try korean food, you'll never go wrong with Don Day.
The ambiance ia great the foods is so delcious. Very affordable, super worth it to try. Hindi lang puro side dish meron din silang iba pang menu included sa unli mo. The staff is very accommodating and approachable. Walang time limit, pedeng magpahinga kapag busog ka na.
I went here last Saturday(Oct 27,2018) for lunch.
The place is spacious and has 2 entrances. The buffet is good enough to get your Korean cravings fixed. The thing that I was looking for were the marinated beef and pork which they do not provide. The beef and pork taste okay but they are not as tender or juicy like from other restaurants. I felt I was cooking bacon and pork that I bought from the grocery store.
What I really liked about Don Day Fresh is the buffet. The food are kept warm and I kept coming back for the beef(misono) instead of the samgyeopsal. The food were generally delicious!
If you’re looking for a samgyeopsal place with marinated beef and pork, this is not the place for you. I highly recommend availing the buffet without the meat(I think it goes for 399 instead of 599 with meat).

Their food here was really good. They had a lot of varieties. Their service and people was nice as well. They refill the food immediately which is really important for me so we won’t need to wait. Will come back again.
I rarely do Korean grill buffets beacuse you will really smell like what you eat. At Don Day, I like that you don't reek too much of grilled meat and oil after you leave. Plenty of side dishes and other viands check out- korean chicken, squid, etc. Lots of kimchi- radish, chive, etc. The meat is okay, thin slices of beef and pork, a little too fatty, but hey, that's flavor 😂 The staff are alert and polite, great service!
Classic korean buffet. One of the originals. Although a bit overpriced if you compare to other current samgyup places nowadays. But don day is way less crowded and service is better.
I've tried 4 Korean buffets already and Don Day is my favorite. Here's what I liked about Don Day:
- they have a very wide selection of side dishes (I love jap chae and the sweet and spicy baby potatoes) and other viands
- the meat is sliced perfectly, not too thin and not too thick
- they have different kinds of greens to go with the grilled meat, not just the usual leafy lettuce (which I don't like tbh)
- they have a wide selection of Korean icecream
- the Filipino owner was very nice and greets customers as if he knows them personally
What I didn't like:
- side dishes and viands don't have labels and the staff doesn't really know what's in it
- Korean icecream was pricey than the usual Korean groceries
- drinks are not included in the buffet price
- location, it's too far from Makati :(
I had dinner after work here with my boyfriend and I must say that Don Day did not disappoint! Good selection of food, and overall everything was tasty. It was a very good alternative given that all the other KBBQ restaurants around Tomas Morato was packed and had long lines; specially since it was a Friday night.
Probably my only concern would be the spacing under the table, since your knees will most likely hit the stove range under, so better look out for that. But overall it was a good experience! Will definitely visit again!

I am a big fan of beef so their unlimited beef buffet is heaven! I love the quality of the beef and the meat to fat ratio. I am not too keen on the pork though as it got really tough when grilled.
There was a variety of korean dishes on the buffet but I did not bother so much on that because I pretty much stuffed my face with the grilled beef.
A special shoutout on the rice they served.
It was divine! It was so fluffy, fragrant and white (really really white)
The servers were attentive and refilled our beef order in a snap. So kudos to the service team.

celebrated our Division's incentive for the month of June here. we were 60 and was given the big dining place. a very good buffet place bec of the food assortment - choice of unli pork, unli beef, or unli pork & beef, plus a lot of other cooked dishes, from appetizer to soup to main dishes to side dishes to desserts. they also offer unli red iced tea. they have soda & ice cream, too, additional charge, of course. we were all full when we went home.
service was superb. very accommodating staff from the time we inquired via phone to our ocular to the actual dinner.

Went here few years ago. I’ve been into different korean buffet but this is still the best one! Large variety of dish. And you don’t someone to get it for you. You could just go and serve yourself. Self service, yes but this is much better because you could continuous eat without asking someone to refill your plates except for the meats. The place is so wide and spacious. Great for accodomatingn large group of friends. I’ve been looking forward to visit again soon 😍

Our priority choice for korean buffet. Many food choices but be prepared for the long line if you’re going at dinner time because they dont accept reservations.
We went to Don Day Korean Fresh Day Korean Buffet for a Sunday night dinner and we avail the Chadolbaegi for Php599.00. Chadolbaegi is with unlimited beef. The other option is the Samgyupsal which is unlimited pork for Php499.00.
Aside from Korean BBQ, they also have wide selections of cooked dishes, 4 different soups, more than 10 main course and desserts.
Honestly, I am super satisfied with the beef alone. It was served fresh and really good with steamed rice.

Ate here last February 2018 for lunch and I was surprised they had actually improved their hot food items. In exchange, the price marked up by 100 pesos since I had last eaten there in 2015.
To be honest, they're miscellaneous items (I.e. salmon head curry, seaweed soup, bean sprout salad)are more remarkable than their saumgypsal.
We went to Don Day last Saturday morning after work and we were the first customer that day. And the staff is very accommodating and honest. The food is delicious I should say. And my co workers are very satisfied. Glad we celebrated our graduation day (endorsed to production) at Don Day. Till next time 😊

Unlimited Korean barbeques are so common nowadays it's hard to distinguish what difference it has with another. Don Day, aside from their unlimited beef and pork slices, also has a buffet of mostly Korean dishes. I said mostly because they also have other offerings such as pasta like spaghetti, a few seafood dishes including mussels, and some snack items such as lumpiang shanghai and onion rings. I'm sorry I couldn't specifically name each dish because they didn't have labels on them. It would have been nice knowing what one was eating, right? Another thing that would have been nice was if there were exhaust fans. The tables are so close together when everyone has started grilling, it gets really smoky.
Place was ok. Only two variants of bbq meat. Wide selection in the buffet area. Always crowded on a weekend so i would suggest to come early. Overall, i would come back

Though they only have 2 kinds of meat (thin sliced beef and pork belly), they make up for it with a wide selection of cooked food. They had a bibimbap station, around 3 kinds of rice, 5 kinds of soup, and 10 other cooked dishes. Their lettuce selection was really impressive, I think they had 3 kinds available! The price is really reasonable considering the selection and service. In other restaurants, you'd have to call the servers and wait for a long time to get your meat, but here they take initiative and immediately replace empty plates of meat! Really good place if you're looking to indulge! Ice cream is not a part of the meal price, but they sell there too!

Budget friendly korean grill with a limited all you can eat korean buffet on the side. Staff is very attentive esp to refills of beef and pork samgyup despite being crowded. For its price you get what you paid for or even more. I just dont like that fact that each grill doesn't have an exhaust though. Its perfect for big groups and spacious parking area too!
Given that the space is bigger that can accommodate more guests the table were arranged in a way that it was difficult to move because its close to each other. I have to commend that they have wider buffet options from Korean favorite dishes, noodles/pasta, sauces and dessert.
We got their Chadolbaegi (Php 599) which is good for unlimited beef and pork. Since they have a Korean buffet, unlike other unlimited grill restaurant which only serves unlimited sidings. I guess the pricing was ok. You can add Php100-200 more then you can get Japanese-Korean buffet too. It’s all up to your appetite and tummy capacity lol

Very good quality meat, even though it's not as expensive as other unli k bbq restaurants with that quality. The place is well ventilated and it comes with the buffet on the side with a huge variety of food.
Our favorite korean buffet so far! Kimchi always tastes good. Something I love doing here is you can make your own bibimbop bowl just like with Matgalne. They have a lot of other food choices and even fruits and deserts. They increased their price though :(

My girlfriend and I went here a few weeks ago just because we were craving korean food.
You can't go wrong with their "go to offering" on Unlimited Samgyeopsal. Although there are a lot of new korean restaurants popping here and there, it is always nice to drop by one of the originals.
Good food and fast service. (Though they don’t have Bolgogi) You might need to make a reservation, especially during Friday’s and weekends..
Picture what you'd expect from a Korean buffet place and this is the place. It is stereotypically that. The food served is interesting as there is the Korean barbecue aspect of it and there's the buffet part of it. The Korean bbq part is good, you can't really go wrong with Korean bbq unless you end up burning the meat. Their meat were not too thin but also not too thick, and it was standard varieties and cuts so nothing really sets it apart but it's also a good and safe choice to go for. The buffet part offers a limited selection of standard Korean dishes but it kind of gets overshadowed by the grilling. The interior is nice, the place could accommodate large groups without the place feeling crammed up. I'd recommend this place, we always head here when hosting big groups.

Probably my go-to KBBQ place because of the food and its money's worth. Been here several times since 2015. What I like about Don Day is that there are lots of food to choose from their buffet table: Japchae, Jjajjangmyun, Korean Fried Chicken, Fish Fillet, Egg Rolls, Kimbap, Tteokbokki, different varieties of Kimchi, and more. Different brands of Korean ice cream is available, but with a separate charge. Plus, the pork and beef is of good quality. I have tried quite a few Korean restaurants and I must say, Don Day's meat quality is better.
What I don't like here is the place itself. It could use a better exhaust fan because when you leave the place, expect that you'll smell like smoke and BBQ all over. Floor is a bit oily and it's dangerous because there is the high risk of slipping. Some of their staff (even the owner) looks masungit and lacks common courtesy among guests. They should really work on their customer service practices.
But nonetheless, it's still the food that counts, so this will always be on top of the list of my favorite Korean BBQ places.
Don Day is a good option if you want to fill yourself up with Korean food at an affordable price. They offer a korean buffet spread with a selection of appetizers, noodles, seafood, lettuce, etc. Both pork and beef are also unlimited, but served per order. The food was good though I hope that they add an option of marinated beef or pork as they only serve plain meats for grilling.
The servers were very attentive despite the volume of customers. The place was a bit crowded since there were a lot of people for lunch at that time.

Strategically located along Quezon Avenue, Don Day Korean Restaurant offers great Korean food and complete dishes (from soups, side dishes, desserts, etc.). Service crew were really attentive and accommodating. This restaurant would definitely satisfy your Korean food cravings and the feels that you get from watching K-dramas (Bok Joo ya!). Only con is that the table is not that wide that's why the grill almost occupies the space of the center table so there's only little space left for you to place your food.
Tip: Line for walk-in gets longer especially during Friday night and weekends. Place a reservation so that you won't have to wait for hours just to eat. 🙂
I've been hearing a lot of good things about Don Day so we thought of having our monthsary date here.
The place is big. At some point, I couldnt feel any air conditioning but it's okay. It wasnt hot nor suffocating because the place was well ventilated. The table is big enough for the two of us. For the food selection, there isnt much to choose from and I didnt like the taste of some. But!! My guy liked the mussels very much! For me, I liked the beef!!! Omg. We had 5 plates of beef and 1 of pork. I ate so much beef that time lol.

There were many choices to choose from that i had a hard time choosing what to get. The restaurant made me feel like i was in korea. Their food taste great but not all maybe because it doesnt match my tastebuds but its not their fault. The only problem i notice is that not all their dishes were labeled so i dont know what im eatibg and when you ask the staff they look clueless and started passing my question around.
The food is great, i really enjoyed it but its not the typical buffet you expect like vikings,yakimix and other buffet restaurants, because you have to pay for your drinks and ice cream. I think that it should be covered by the buffet.
Prices vary depending on your preference. I also clarified that the offer for unlimited 399 is no longer available,so the price list is quite confusing.
And they also have a rule of no sharing of your chosen unlimited pork or beef which it cost php.499 but its better to choose both unlimited pork and beef for php.599 each.
For services and staff Its really annoying that they are next to you, I don't know if they are waiting for us to call for assistance or they are guarding their customers.
Maybe its better to hire a security guard if you can't trust on your costumers and lessen the staffs to walk around the store as if they are suspecting somebody to leave without pay.

Gusto ko yung pagkakacut ng beef and pork nila. Manipis lang. Okay naman selection ng buffet nila. And okay din ventilation ng place. Umalis akong busog and satisfied. Twice na ko kumain dito, nung time na yon hindi pa nila niraraise yung price. So ewan ko ngayon kung macoconsider pa syang sulit.
Ang mapupuna ko lang dito is yung strictness nila sa reservation. Nakakalungkot kasi mawitness yung hindi na ineentertain kasi they missed their reservation by a minute or two. Kasi kung iisipin mo nagtravel sila to your place knowing they have a reservation. Siguro give an allowance in terms of reservation. Kaya kung papareserve kayo on the dot dapat andun na kayo kung ayaw nyong mapunta sa iba table nyo.
My 2nd time here. I was not a fan of Korean stuff at that moment thats why I can't appreciate it. SO after watching Goblin and Weightlifting last February I decided that I wanna explore my taste buds and try to #Becomingkorean.

- A/C is set on 36 degrees.. Ang init! Yeah given that We're surrounded by grills but they should have lower down the temp para medyo cozy naman.

I have been to the two Don Day Branches diliman and morato.. so far the best branch goes to Tomas Morato because its more complete and a lot of food varieties compared to the diliman branch and the only thing i love about the diliman branch is that price is cheaper, drinks and food included in the price, whilest morato branch has a separate price for unlie iced tea.. whats good with Morato Branch is that all of their banchans taste really good, thet even have their create your own bibimbap station.. and their soups are awesome.. recently they served Kimchu bokumbap.. first time i tried that.. all i can say is you get your moneys worth..
A bit more expensive than other Korean buffets, and some dishes are just... so-so. But hands down to all their staff who attended every customer well and responded fast to every customer request. 😊
Don Day will always be my fave place for samgyupsal. The price is pocket friendly and the meat is always fresh~ will keep on coming back and to bring my friends for hang outs with dinner or lunch, server are also very accommodating ^^

Lunch celebdate with my partner for our 13th month at Don Day Buffet. We got confused a bit while looking for the place since the building was old and isolated. It was hard to notice but with a little roaming around, we finally found it.
We started at 11:20am and yep, we left an hour before the end shift of lunch time which was 2:30pm. An hour to spare our tummies from all the korean goodness going on.
We got the 499 (pork) set instead of the 599 (beef) and 699 (pork and beef) offered. As far as I'm concerned, I think they had a price increase for quite some time? Also, price DOES NOT include drinks and that being said, you'll have to add P75 for the bottomless red iced tea or go for water instead.
Ambiance was nice and homey although we were placed in a table that was quite isolated from the rest of the crowd since we were only 2 so, they had to accommodate us in a smaller table than the rest which was on the other side of the restaurant. Good thing our table was close to the comfort room and the dessert station.
Staff were attentive and nice. I find the owners (which I think were the owners) too nosy, no offense. They kept on lingering around our table which I found really uncomfortable at times.
As for the food, it was okay. So so.. nothing special but it was a good experience. Loved their Japchae and Fish Fillet! While other dishes were bland like the squid in kimchi-like sauce (idk the names of the dish since they don't have name cards placed in front). Bimbap was also hearty. They also sell korean ice cream in separate price so, better ask the servers if you intend to have one.
The pork served was actually thick (too thick for my liking). I've read a lot of reviews that they serve paper thin meat but looks like they've adjusted it(?) Also, I like the red iced tea and the turon they had on the table. There weren't many choices but every dish that's being taken out of the kitchen's always new so, I guess that's something to look forward to.
Overall, experience was neat and awesome. I do like Korean food but this was something different - good different. We regularly eat at korean restaurants in the metro but having it in a buffet style's a first.
Price-and-overall-food-choices wise, I'd rather dine with buffets serving international cuisines than having one at hand when they almost cost the same PLUS, others offer unlimited drinks and even wine on special occasions.
This Korean buffet place is delicious and with a good price!
Although be ready to wait in line as the place gets easily full especially at night.
They have different options for the leafy vegetable for your barbecue that you can mix and match to explore and discover new taste or just have a new experience.
But I guess, the staff is still adjusting to the hype it's getting. The staff looks overworked and sometimes simple requests like a glass of water take time.

Fresh veggies, beef and pork slices are readily available upon request. I've been a frequent visitor. So far it has always satisfied my korean bbq cravings.
My favorite of all the korean buffets because of the quality, cleanliness and variety of food. It's priced 200 more expensive than others i've tried in the area. Get the beef buffet as you will have access to the buffet table as well as pork. The lines can get long, but be patient, it's worth it.
My best friend, Jacel introduced me to this place. I never was a fan of Korean food before, but being here changed my mind (and my palette). Aside from their ready to eat Korean dishes, their Sampgyeopsal is something that you'd come back for over and over (and over) again. Just the though of their mouth-watering, fresh lettuce and meats makes me want to run over there and stuff my face with Korean BBQ.

FOOD - SULIT!!! No time limit. You can choose from UNLI PORK or UNLI PORK & BEEF, P100 difference lang. FRESH gulay and ang sarap ng KIMCHI RICE - un lang super solved na ko. BABALIK BALIKAN! Dami din choices ng side dishes.

Been craving Korean bbq and this was relatively cheap for good quality.
First the setting was rather cramped and all seats were filled. There were very long tables, so different parties would be joined in one table, but there were multiple grills on the tables. Be sure not to put the meat on the middle of the grill because it will catch on fire. It can also get hot as the air conditioner is weak and the grill can be hot.
The meat was good and there were different food options as well as side dishes. The meat is ordered while the other foods are on the buffet tables. Meat is usually eaten with the vegetables and the vegetables were fresh and crunchy which I appreciated. The sauce was a bit sour and a bit spicy. The fish cake was really good. Full of flavor and thick. The spaghetti is Filipino style, so its sweet. There was bimbap that had chapchae as the filling and I personally liked. Potatoes were also good but not extraordinary. The buko pandan was good too as it had lots of milk so it was creamy. As for the bottomless iced tea, it is charged per person. It was a bit tricky as it was given to us in a pitcher which we thought was paid for in the given price on the menu.
Since the place is packed, the servers were only attentive when called for, or when there are plates on the table that needs to be taken away. For a Korean bbq which had a relatively low price, I would recommend going here.
The meat was a bit salty and thin but otherwise we did enjoy the variety considering not a lot of buffet have Korean foods. (Tho even more Korean food pls) The make your own bibimbap is my personal favorite!
Good Korean food, but be prepared to be adventurous since the dishes didn't have labels. I Ate so much grilled pork and beef that I didn't get to try a lot of the other dishes. However, the few that I tried were good, usually as palate cleanser between rounds and rounds of grilled meat. I liked that they had a few desserts as part of their menu, that provided a good break though.
A bit pricier vs other Korean bbq buffets in the area, but well worth it.
We visited for lunch, on a probably lean week since it was Holy Week, so we got seated right away. Place was clean and staff was attentive enough. Found the tables had limited space, though. Ventilation was good enough, though the place wasn't packed when we were there.
Overall, I can't wait to eat here again.
Me and my college best friends decided to have our post-prelim examination pig out here in don day. We arrived at around 6pm and was seated immediately. Their food was nothing special but when you want a quick fix for your kbbq cravings then don day is the place to go. Just one problem is that their grilling pans were really small so we had trouble cooking the meat. The place was clean but the tables and chairs were a bit too close to each other (talk about lack of personal space). The staff was nice and they are really accommodating even if there were many people. Not sure if I will be coming back. More power!

I've been visiting, eating and blogging different Korean restaurants for a while now, but definitely, Don Day is one for the books!
The travel from Manila was worth it as we discovered a gem in Tomas Morato.
First of all, it is Waze and Google maps-friendly. Next, they have a lot of parking space, or maybe if you arrive early haha.
We ordered unli samgyupsal and chadolbagi, and they serve you a generous amount of meat.
What definitely made me give a perfect score for this one is that this restaurant, so far, serves the most numbe of banchan! EVER!
From soups, to noodles, to cooked chicken, meat, seafood, omellete, rice, vegetables and fruits. They serve a quite a veriety of leaves for wrapping the meat and sauces for dipping.
Unlike other Korean restaus, this one is made for the masses. It can cater up to 150-200 guest, and the best part of all, it is not crowded at all!
You can also purchase beers, sodas and ice cream.
I highly recommend this to barkadas, families and couples. It is definitely worth a try! ✌🏻️😊
Tried here last night. For the price of 499pesos nett u can grill all u can pork and beef. Plus unlimited sides well its so affordable. But not unli drinks well foods are good.place is big. Service is ok. What good is it opens at 5pm we arrive at 5pm and by 530pm.almost full pack. But this coming april1 2017 prices will increase for the buffet it will cost 599 unli pork and beef. Well its till affordable.
place jam packed even with reservation we needed wait 20 mins. grilling pork & beef are extremely fatty so no need for oils & caution make sure you got no cholesterol or heart problem. wide variety of korean cooked dish just plain nothing special and some taste adjusted to Filipino taste buds. kimchi was not spectacular. sunday dinners @ 499 was ok though weekdays lunch is bargains. fresh lettuce wrapping was awesome. overall experience good. always have fresh food is guest tunrover is fast & lines are long.

DonDay has been a popular place for QC peeps to have a Korean grill buffet. Through the years of having 3 branches, it has build their own loyal patrons around Quezon City.
Their buffet price is at P399 for pork belly and P499 for beef belly. It's slightly high than their Korean grill buffet competitors, but they've monopolized and built their brand already in this part of Manila.
With a wide choices of veggies for wrapping, kimchis, assorted ban chans, and other cooked stuffs like tokbokki, tilapia, beef bulgogi, and other stuffs.
We chose beef belly and got some of their food choices like lettuce and raddish kimchi, sweetened potatoes, beef, and japchae. The beef belly was nice and fatty. It's sliced thinly for quick cooking and for easier chewing. The choices, though, wasn't that flavorful and tasty like their competitors. The japchae was abit bland. The tokbokki wasn't cooked well that became super chewy.
Overall, for the price of P499/head, it's not bad, but comparing the food and price from the ones I've tried, it's a bit steep. If they serve better tasting kimchis and japchae, it would add up to my Korean experience.
