I usually dont eat (hate fish with a passion lol) fish, but i tried giving their tuna belly a chance since it looked boneless and juicy. AND IT WAS. Soooo good!!!! The crab chowder was also 👌🏻 this is the only fish i’ll be coming back for 💗
we ordered the shrimp, clam chowder bread bowl and of course the crab(kaso nalowbat na kmi that time, that is why place nlang inabot ng batt ng phone namin). the taste was sobrang sarap and they have the freshest seafood, kaso too expensive, we've spent more than 3k in one day for this store alone. 3 lang kmi ng wife and 2yr old son ko. pero for sure we'll comeback pero cguro shrimp nlang no crabs na para tipid :D
Wasn't able to take photos of the shrimps and crabs because we were so excited to eat! Managed to take photo of their crab chowder and squid though - love the squid because of the prominence of the garlic. We ordered fried garlic crab and cajun shrimps. Normally, I wouldn't want to get my hands dirty to remove the shells from the crustaceans but because it was sooo good! Managed to eat a lot. A bit pricey, but if you're a seafood lover then why not?
I love crabs and shrimps. This place definitely satisfies my cravings. They have other things in the menu that looks and seems yummy, so there's a tendency to order a lot. It's a little pricey, though, so we don't exactly frequent this resto. If you have the budget. It's worth the try.
Its one of my fave place when I want to eat lemon and garlic shrimps and blue post crabs. They serve female crabs not like the other restos where they only serve male crabs. Love the sausages and corn that comes with it
Food tastes great (try the soup!!!). Downside is that the serving is quite long (more than 30 mins waiting). They gave us ice cream to make up for it, but served it with the soup and shrimp and not after the meal.
The crab is expensive, not posted in the menu. We got a king crab and we didn’t know is costs P2500 not until we got our bill.
Definitely worth the wait. ❤️
We love the sweet chili shrimps sooo much!
Even though it took them awhile to have us seated and served our foods, we totally understand it. Mother's day rush it is.
Food is good. Service needs a little improvement though. Took a while before our food was served. Staff are not attentive. We had to make several follow ups.
My second time to dine here!😊 If you love seafood, you really have to dine here in Blue Post. We ordered Shrimps, Calamares, oysters and crab. All were superyummy! We were a party of 4 on Christmas day 2018 and we really enjoyed the seafoods, we were done eating and there's still shrimps left so it was really enough for us. The crabs were a little bit pricey though, around 1800php for a king crab. The service was very good also, the waiter assisting us were all smiles and even reminded us to not eat the oysters yet until we get to eat something so our stomach will not be upset. so it was a pleasant experience.
Be prepared to eat by using gloves and hands. I think it's easier to use hands than using spoon and fork. It will get messy but you will surely enjoy the food especially the CRAB and SHRIMPS with salted egg add-ons. A bit pricey but worth it.
Always a seafood restaurant worthy of multiple visits, ready to get go with Cebu. Love the fresh crab and seafood and the Mixology concept on Beverages where you can mix and match many different cold beverages.
Eating at Boiling is the kind of messy-when-you-eat BUT you'll like it anyway! And even though you're in a resto in the middle of the city (especially within a mall), it is perfectly okay to eat by hands, and not by cutleries.
They have their own washroom so you can wash your hands before and after the meal. And you don't have to worry about getting stains on your getup as they'll provide you not just plastic gloves but plastic bib as well big enough to cover your upper front (although I hope -not just for Boiling but for every other restos too- that they can find a better replacement for plastic unless they have a way to properly dispose it without causing damage to the environment... BUT us customers do have a choice to forgo these plastics, right!? ANYWAY...)
As the seafood lover in the group, my sister ordered the Blue Posts Boil for the Crab, and Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce for the Shrimp. Personally, I liked the Blue Posts Boil sauce better as its taste is more noticeable than the latter sauce. I even topped it on my rice, and used it as the dipping sauce for both crab and shrimps! However, you got to BE EXTRA CAREFUL with your intake of this sauce especially IF YOU'RE HYPERTENSIVE. It's salty, and may contain fats from your crab. Nonetheless, don't forget to ENJOY!
PS. I only got a photo of the aftermath. The paper cup used to be the serving cup for rice.
Just like their O Square branch, I had a pleasant time dining at Blue Posts SM The Block branch with my mom. The Garlic Lemon Shrimps is still the best variant for me! And their delicious and creamy Crab Chowder is a steal for P89 only --- reminds me of the clam chowder I had in SanFo some years ago. Their staff is also very attentive and courteous. The only thing that bothered me was the toilet and wash area. Liquid soap was very watery, not enough to clean our dirty, seafood-smelling hands!
I tried it in SM Ecoland in Davao. It's very flavorful but it's kinda expensive. Although the meal that we ordered are good for 3 persons already. Get ready to get your hands dirty. It's good to eat with your hands.
Staff are very accommodating and they will explain properly their dishes. And the step by step procedure on how to order. The ambiance is so cool. Free to vandalized your name. Hahaha!
My 2nd visit was in Lanang, we ordered Shrimp in Salted Egg. It's kinda dry and lack of salted egg flavor.

I tried the shrimp blue post boil nila kaso di un type kong lasa.. Nothing special sa taste ng sauce. Pero ung shrimps maeenjoy mo talaga kasi makatarungan ang size at madami. Mali lang siguro ako ng piniling cooking preference. Balak ko parin namang bumalik para matikman ung iba.
Prepare to get your hands dirty! Since I was craving for shrimps and I was in the area, we finally tried Blue Posts. Heard that this place was a hit in Davao.
We ordered shrimps in Blue Posts Boil - their supposed signature flavor. And it did not disappoint! The heat was spot on. It seems to get hotter the more you eat. Instead of just going for one serving of rice, we needed another cup.
The service was quick and efficient.
I will definitely be back.
This place is for shrimp and crab lovers. The place is cosy and staffs were polite. The fresh crab cooked with salted eggs is a must try and their spareribs are tender.
Me and my husband enjoyed here! The food is great alongside with their attentive staff! Price is kind of steep but its definitely worth it. We always leave this place full.
Packed with flavor and made fresh, I have enjoyed Blue Post's succulent shrimp and seafood! My personal favorite would be the salted egg and garlic shrimp variety. ❤️
It was Johnbunag’s birthday month last month and he graciously spent his afternoon with us. Super fun! It’s my first time to try this out. Shrimp in a bag in various flavors to choose from.
1st you need to choose your preferred seafood (shrimps (Php 573) or mussels (Php 589))
2nd choose the sauce (Blue Posts Boil, Garlic Fried, Sambal, Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce or Salted Egg)
3rd select spiciness level (regular, mild or super spicy)
I enjoyed their Garlic Lemon Butter sarap! Plus the experience was also a fun one. Thank you so much Ej for the treat! 🧡
Craving for seafood? Blue Posts Boiling Crabs & Shrimps offers bags and bags of fresh, perfectly cooked shrimps, crabs, and a lot more! I got to try three variants of the shrimp Captain’s Catch, the Blue Posts Boils, Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce, and In Salted Egg. All three were cooked just right and have deliciously distinct flavors. I liked the salted egg variant the most! It had actual bits of salted egg that went well with the shrimp. I got to try the Garlic Pork Riblets as well. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. The crushed garlic gave it extra flavor too.
Overall, it was a fun and tummy-filling experience. Aside from the good food, I also had a wonderful time with friends as we celebrated a birthday. Will definitely go back for more!

Good but expensive. It’s a nice place to bring your balikbayan guests. Seafood bags are good. Although serving portions of their ala carte dishes are small.
Their crabs are decent size. The sauces you can choose from are also really good, we love putting the sauces onto the rice. One thing about this resto is that it's really expensive. Hard to pig out if you don't have a big budget to spend. They get their crabs shipped from davao hence the price range. Still, it's good just really expensive for an all out crabbing experience.
Finally, I was able to try Blue Post Boiling Crabs in SM North EDSA The Block this month.
We had the following flavors of Shrimps at the Captain Catch:
🦐 Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
🦐 In Salted Egg - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
🦐 Blue Post Boil - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
Php573.00 per order.
All were deliciously good. My favorite was The Shrimps in Salted Egg pairing with plain rice enhances the flavor.
Comments: I think they need to train their server to be honest enough in what we order. We were charged incorrectly.

The first time I tried Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps was in Davao City. I thought it was only available there so I was happy to find out that they have a few branches in Metro Manila now.
What we tried and how we feel about each of them:
1. Crab Chowder - I wanted to start with something to warm my tummy because I skipped lunch today. I liked the taste, texture, and consistency of their crab chowder. It made for a perfect pre-main course for me.
2. Blue Posts Boil (Shrimps) - Hubby and I opted for the shrimp bag with their signature sauce and chose mild spicy. I also added hungarian sausage and corn to go with the shrimps. We love shrimps so we enjoyed our order, although hubby found it too spicy for his taste. I was ok with it, though. The bag is good for 2-3 persons so I thought the price was reasonable.
3. Garlic Fried (Crab) - Now this is the star of our meal! Fresh, meaty and super tasty! This, I think, is the best option for crabs. The staff were also kind enough to help us crack the crabs and get the meat inside.
4. Chicken Fingers - My younger kids said they had better chicken fingers. They also did not like the chili sauce that serves as the dip for the chicken fingers. They prefer either gravy or mustard.
5. BBQ Spare Ribs - My oldest son tried this and wasn’t too happy with it. It looked unappealing and undercooked. It didn’t look like it was grilled enough.
Their drinks are affordable, especially considering that they’re mostly bottomless.
Me and my hubby really love this place. We love their salted egg shrimps it has loads of garlic, chopped salted egg and cereal like crunch. We just hope it was on the saucier side so we can have it mixed with rice. But still, it is our favorite seafood restaurant. 😊
We've already tried their bag of shrimps three times--each time in a different flavor: Sambal, Blue Posts Boil, and In Salted Egg. We liked all of them, even the shrimps in Salted Egg flavor, which we didn't expect to be cooked differently (not sure if it was fried but surely it wasn't steamed). Meanwhile, Sambal is your sweet and spicy kind of sauce. For the Blue Posts Boil, we enjoyed the chorizo bits.
Fresh seafood served in the most interesting way. Seafood is tasty especially the shrimp. But more than their boiling seafood is a variety of other dishes like the calamari and the crab. Good stuff.
Great place if you're craving for fresh seafoods. Loved the interior. Service was great. Rice was uber hot when it was served (i loved it!). However, as I was enjoying my shrimps, there's this one piece that tasted soooo eeek! I'm pretty sure it was not fresh. Did not mind telling the crew because it's just one lang naman. Service charge is around 15% (not sure). Overall, I enjoyed it here but I prefer Bag O' Shrimps more.
After watching a tear-jerking movie, my stomach was craving for something from the sea. As my friend and I was walking around, we noticed this place. And boom we went in!
The prices for the seafood dishes were pricey but they're worth every mouthful. I was so excited to devour them that I forgot to take pictures first 😂
The Chicken fingers were longer than my fingers, quite salty but it tasted great with the warm rice. There were big shrimps in their Fried Garlic Shrimp and Shrimp with Cajun Sauce.
At first I thought that we didn't order enough because I'm a glutton but we barely cleared our table that we had to take the rest home.
Definitely coming back with the rest of the Glutton Gang because the more company, the better the moment ------ the more people to split the bills. Lol

The food was amazing. The service was great. And the environment is awesome place to eat. I highly recommend to anybody that wants some good seafood.
From time to time, one must eat with the sea. And having it in a mall gives one a different feel. Blue Post is finally here, a new entrant here in Manila. This franchise is a big time spectacle in the southern part of the Philippines, Davao.
I used up part of my Php 1,500 gift certificate I won from their media night and indulged with friends. We got four orders of big portioned viands and we were only 4. So after this mini feast, we ended up packing home some.
Crabs were over budget, it was at least Php 1,500 for a serving. We got instead their fresh bag of Shrimps in Garlic Butter Sauce. It was savory even from its shells, a balance of palatable garlicky and greasy butter. My friends and I also experimented on spicy Salted Egg Mussels. This was way tasty so get ready to lock this in with lots of warm rice. The spice and the salt merged wonderfully here.
Next, that came to our table was one whole serving of Native Davao Chicken. It's lean giving you a bite but compensated with its well-seasoned preparation. Last was the 300-gram Tuna Belly, made extra appetizing with a generous squeeze of lemon.
Thank you for coming to Davao Blue Post. I appreciate we do not need to fly to your wonderful city to have a glimpse of your culinary wonders over there.

We were looking for restos to have dinner last Sunday night and we couldn't find any without dripping air-conditioning system or at least a cool place to stay due to the hot weather. Fortunately, we saw Blue Posts Boiling Crabs & Shrimps and since we haven't tried it there, we decided to give it a try.
The place is not that big but it looks inviting seeing the bags of seafood on the other tables. We ordered and was told that their serving time is between 20-30 minutes. Good thing is we didn't have to wait the full 30 minutes!
There was nothing special about the food but the serving is just right for 2 for the bag we ordered. We ordered shrimps in garlic and used the mat they provided to eat together with the plastic gloves and bib.
Overall, it was bot bad but I won't probably go back unless I crave for seafood.@
Blue Posts is good enough, however, the value for money isn't the best given its high prices. We tried their crab, shrimp, kinilaw, crab chowder, and calamares. The crab chowder and the calamares were so so, not bad but not anything notable. The kinilaw wasn't the best, as it was mostly just vinegar based, it lacked a more citrus element to balance out the taste. The shrimp were fine, however their prices are noticeable higher than most other places. There are places where you can get the same amount of shrimp for almost half the price. Their crab was pretty great, you get to pick out the specific crab you want to get, and their crabs are big and alive and well cooked. Price however, is again the limiting factor, their market price during our visit being at a fairly high 180/100 grams.
All in all, you can get a good meal here, but the prices are among the highest for this class of restaurant. This is more of a special occasion only place rather than a place you would regularly go to.
Super duper sarap ng food nila. As in sobrang nasatisfy kami. Walang palya sa service nila. Lahat attentive. Lahat mukhang presentable at friendly din sila. Sobrang aliwalas din ng ambiance at medyo home-y yung vibes. Two thumbs up para dito sa Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps 😊
Great Service and Food Choices.
We ordered
Sambal Crab with Hungarian Sausage and Corn ✔️✔️✔️
Boiled Crab ✔️✔️✔️
Pomelo Salad ✔️✔️✔️✔️
Gumbo Soup ✔️✔️✔️✔️
The gumbo soup and pomelo salad is an explosion of great flavors and texture in my mouth. Ive had better tasting crabs than what they have. Excellent Customer service.
Will go back.

SERVICE:The staffs are very kind and accommodating. They will even assist and ask you if you want to advance your orders.
PLACE: They have comfy seats and good lighting for food photographers. But the place is not that big enough to cater all.of the guests. That's ehy sometimes you really have to wait before you get to be seated.
PRICE: The price of their food ranges from 300 to 600 pesos.
FOOD: I love their shrimps! It's a must try. I also liked their crab chowder.
Pricey food and service charge! Mga nasa 500 siguro binayaran namin. Sa service pa lang nila..
Masarap ang food, but not for a person who has a tight budget.. expect nyo na marami kaung plastic na kylangan suotin para di matalsikan haha.. di maiwasan tatagos sa kamay m yung lansa dahil sa hard shells ng crabs.. mabubutas yung plastic. SUNDAY LUNCH Febuary 19- 17
skeptical about the Sambal sauce for the Shrimps and Crabs, but trusted our server when he said it was the best-seller. Very HAPPY we ordered that! we bulldozed through 6 cups of rice. cant wait to go back!
But mind you.. with my age? You do need to bring BLOPRESS😁
KUDOS!🍷 ☆☆☆☆ 4 Stars!
Fresh and large serving of seafood. If you love crabs like me, you'll be able to pick your own crabs at the table and choose how you want it cooked. Highly recommend their boiled method; not just your ordinary boiled but jam packed with their special sauce. Fun experience eating with your hands while wearing a bib. The price is a little expensive but service is excellent.
At Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps, simply choose your seafood (crabs, mussels or shrimps), your cooking preference (the Blue Posts Boil, Garlic Fried, or Sambal), your choice of Extras (corn-on-the-cob, potatoes, pork sausage, Hungarian sausage, and plain rice), and your desired level of heat (Regular, Hot, Mild, and Spicy). The Blue Posts Boil with crabs, potatoes, pork sausage, and corn-on-the-cob draped in a rich garlicky and spicy sauce gets your Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps dining experience on the right track. The succulent crabs have a fresh and delicate briny sweetness, kicked up by the bold flavors of the Cajun-style sauce. And yes, use your hands and get messy.
Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps continues to innovate and expand its offerings with new flavors, like the Shrimps in Garlic Lemon Sauce. The nutty garlic and sharp lemon notes bring out the natural sweetness of the plump shrimps without overpowering it, perfect with steamed white rice.
Another new variant is the Crabs in Salted Egg, fried crabs with garlic and salted egg, real salted egg cubes and not just salted egg powder or sauce. Crabs, garlic and salted egg...perfect.
Went here last January 3, 2017. It was actually a fun experience at the same time we really enjoyed the food. We ordered 2 crab chowders (It was supposed to be only 1 order for the two of us but it was tasteful that we decided to buy another cup. For people who enjoy having a cup of soup before meal, we give a 👍 for it). We also enjoyed an order of calamares. My fianceé really likes to have calamares when we go to restaurants that offer this in their menu. We liked that it has just the right amount of breading and the dip was good as well. For the main dish we ordered for a pound of shrimp and an 800gms. female crab in regular sambal sauce. W also added 1 corn cob and potatoes. We were not supposed to order rice that time but when we tasted the sambal sauce it was soooo good, surely you will not enjoy the food without the rice so we dediced to share a cup of rice. Their seafood were fresh they will ask you to choose from the live the crabs before they cook it for you. The one we had was really full of aligue, crab meat and tasted really fresh. Over all the money we paid for the meal was worth it! If you haven't tried it here well I say you should. 😊
*sorry for the photo we enjoyed the soup and calamares before we thought of taking the picture 😉 we're not fond of taking too much photos or even selfies hehe..
It's really fun to be messy in this place. 🍴✨🎶
The restaurant was very unconventional with a very informal dining style, like admit it we all eat quite messy all the time.
Compared to their branch in Davao, Blue Posts here in Manila portrays a modern interior inspired by a fisherman's wharf.
The wax paper, the bib, and food placed on food grade boiling bags add thrill in satisfying gastronomic adventure of the customers.
The food was fresh where got to pick from a selection of live crabs. Try Garlic Fried Shrimps, it's very delishhhhh! The sauce of the Boiling Crabs is very tasty and flavor-FULL! Green Mango Salad and Pomelo Salad is also a must try.
They also have the best desserts! Mudslide and Davao's Pride Pomelo Cream salad with Corn.
The Service was very promising and the restroom is very clean.
Will surely come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Went here on a weekend with my mom & dad for lunch for my pre-birthday celebration. The crabs & shrimps are indeed fresh. They will even bring a small bucket of crabs to your table then let you pick which ones you want to be cooked. Everything we ordered (crab, shrimp, chicken wings, mudslide dessert) tastes good! The rice portion is also quite generous.
I just need to comment on some minor issues we experienced.
The place is a hit, so all the staff were quite busy. I guess it would be better if the plastic gloves were already provided on the table, so I don't have to call out for someone to bring it to me. It's kind of hard to call for a staff since we were seated on the corner. (So try to not be seated at the corner!)
Also, a woman (outsider) who were not even dining at the restaurant, went to our table to solicit for money. Awkward! Another girl, a student, also came to our table to sell us Otap. She even sat beside my dad while we were eating. Awkward again. Kindly do something about these random people going in your restaurant.
I don't know if they don't really serve vinegar or any kind of sauce, but my mom suggests that they offer some type of sauce.
Lastly, I was still eating the dessert when one of the staff came to our table and handed our bill already. We did not ask for it yet though. I don't know kung norm lang sa kanila yun, but gesture was rude. Really.
Di naman uminit ulo ko kasi naka-smile naman lahat ng staff. And masarap yung mudslide dessert na kinakain ko. :))
Oh well, I'm going here again for really nice seafood. But I hope you improve the dining experience for your clients soon. Thanks!
You can tell that the seafood is fresh, and that their dishes are made with the finest ingredients. I like that they offer different ways of preparing your seafood and that you can have add-ons. We added Hungarian sausage and potatoes to our bag of shrimps.
The place was clean, the service crew were polite.
It's definitely not your go-to place if you want to cut down on dining expenses, but if you can shed some money for good food, you won't be disappointed here.
Place is okay. Staffs were nice. After they got your order, they will introduce themselves, which i think is very good and personalize, it made me feel valued. Though foods are a bit pricey, taste is just okay. I just dont like how they serve food. Shrimp is just in the plastic, im thinking they could put it in a bowl or something but overall its okay
Great customer service. They were really attentive and very nice. Shout-out to Abbey. The place is nice. They have couches with freedom wall. Crab & shrimp lovers must try this one. Specially their take on cooking crabs for they have several options in doing so. Very appetizing! Budget wise, I find the crab & prawns pricey. But that is just for me. The rest room though must be kept clean at all times. Overall, it's still a good experience.
So my cousins’ very first food establishment just launched this month. (Proud of you guys! Thanks for the invite!) Decked like a fisherman’s wharf, Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps is a casual seafood restaurant that offers a unique dining experience by allowing customers to eat with their bare hands. Blue Posts is a franchise from Davao City, which first began with the couple Anthony and Jennifer Ang in J.P. Laurel Avenue on December 8, 2013. With its overwhelming success, they opened a second branch in Davao at the Lanang Business Park on June 28, 2014. In cooperation with the Lee Family, they finally made it to Metro Manila at SM North EDSA’s The Block. It will officially open on August 26, 2016.
