Want to wow your guests at your upcoming dinner party? Look no further and indulge in the delectable yet affordable Japanese-inspired food from Ta Ke Me Ho Me Sushi Stand. The brainchild of young couple, Miguel Librojo and Kelly Parreno, Ta Ke Me Ho Me Sushi is a one-stop shop for take-away Japanese products, including a variety of sushi and other Japanese-inspired dishes like rice balls, sashimi, wagyu, and bacon bomb.
Very affordable, but the service was quite slow and when we placed an order through the phone the guy didn't seem to undrestabd anything we were saying...
Also, there was a woman who was selling fruits and would curse at you if yiu refused to buy her things.
Migori is what I always order the salmon is very good and the fosh itself
is torched which makes it more flavourful...its an ideal for to go to snack . ung level of anghang nila hindi masyadong reliable ksi like ung level 4 nila hindi rin naman masyadong maanghang
We ordered California Maki Roll and Migori. Taste is average and just the right quality for the price.
The torched salmon gives a strong taste even with just an itsy bitsy part and it's an ok for us. The maki, nothing really special about it, not bad but not too good.
Although the way they roll it isn't good. Some easily breaks down. But it's worth the price.
Would recommend for a craving run.
My one of go to places. When I last visited they don’t have the dragon ball anymore but they replaced it with Migori and TKHM. Migori is flavoursome, but I don’t like the TKHM because it’s fried (oily). I love my my suhsi oil free! 😆 but the wagyu cubes is a must try! Don’t forget the mozzarella!! ++++
I really liked the TKHM Roll! Their sushi were very affordable and to think, 299 for 24 pieces!? That's insanely a good deal! After trying it for the first time, I was instantly addicted to it. I'd definitely go back here!
I love how some of they're selections are fusion. A very different take on sushi. I haven't tried the wagyu will definitely go back just to try it out and maybe change the rating in the future
If you want fast and very affordable sushi, ta ke ho me is the place! I love their migori and tkhm sushi! But not so much their wagyu cubes.
Ta ke ho me with its creative name shines because of its affordability. If you are craving for sushi and on a tight budget, this is the place to be in Quezon city or in FoodPanda.
#shallireturn to Ta Ke Ho Me?
A very very affordable sushi place for those who are a fan of japanese food but has a very tight budget. I love their TKHM sushi and for the price of 99, you would think that it will just taste as so-so.
I hope they would start selling takoyaki as well.
Cheap eats that are so worth the walk and wait.
Our order was freshly prepared.
We ordered:
Dragonball (smoked salmon, mango, spices) - so-so when it comes to the spices that I was not able to taste much the smoked salmon. But it’s still tasty, though.
Bacon bomb (sushi wrapped in bacon) - this one came as a surprise as there are bits of salmon inside. The crispy bacon was still tender enough that it tears away bite after bite.
Wagyu cubes with torched mozarella - can I have some garlic rice on this one please??? This one is so worth it!!!
Super cheap Japanese food and it tastes good too. It took them quite some time to make our order though since only 2 guys were manning the store. If I'm craving for some Maki that won't hurt my budget, I'll come to Ta Ke Ho Me.
The wagyu tastes better than it looks. The branch in Morato is a bit small but the service is fast and you won’t have to wait long for your food.
Their WAGYU CUBES AND KANI SALAD were the best so far. PERFECT for food hopping, i will go back and try their wagyu cubes again and will recommend this to my friends.

The bacon bomb was not delicious. The ta ke ho me roll was very delicious, would eat there again for it. Place was a bit small. The staff were very polite and accommodating.
Here's my top three picks off their menu:
- Dragon Ball
- Spicy Tuna
- Wagyu Cubes
Ambience – 2.5/5
Air-conditioning not working
Service – 3.5/5
No clean drinking water
Location – 4/5
Food – 4/5
If you're looking for an easy and affordable way of satisfying your Japanese cravings, then this is the place for you. Their TKHM roll is my favorite and I personally think that it is a must-try!
Clever and remarkable name.
Good and friendly staff.
Very instagrammable. Take a photo of their wall on the way out.
Food is more than what you pay for. Yes there are other sushi out there but for the price they offer for their product. It's definitely worth it.
Limited parking. Make sure you have someone with you. Hazard and have the other person buy for you. Besides, they are technically promoting take aways, hence the name. :)
Perfect for a sushi and sashimi fix! ❤ I ordered the 40 pieces package and it was served quickly. Very accomodating staff anf manager too. 😊
Good for very cheap sushi. My expectations were very low but I was pleasantly surprised. Don't go here if you're expecting exceptional maki but it's not family mart either. Worth it.
Worth the money! 😀
It satisfied my Japanese food cravings. If I lived near the area, I would like to come back again. However, the service needed improvement. The staff wasn't welcoming as she should have been.
Japanese cuisine has continued to find its way to our hearts. And with the variety of its segmentation, we can find Japanese restaurants all over the metro. Ta Ke Ho Me specializes in sushi and they offer it at an affordable price tag. Thanks to this Zomato meet up I got to sample most of what they offer.
So if you're craving for sushi, rice with a variety of toppings rolled for you, Ta Ke Ho Me would rather have you bring it home, thus their play of words on their name. If you wish to dine in, they have a small and humid place that is a bit cramped.
What we have are a combination of usual sushi familiar to most and some innovative ones like a deep fried version. Among the ones we had, California Maki (kani, mango and ebiko), Ta Ke Ho Me Roll (salmon, cream cheese and bonito flakes), Spicy Tuna (tuna and panko), Migori (torched salmon and cucumber miso mayo) and Dragon Ball (spicy smoked salmon, mango and togarashi), all for just Php 99 for 9 pieces, I liked most their signature one that bar has their name, Ta Ke Ho Me Roll. Its salmon was fresh and it worked so well with melted cream cheese.
If you wish to order more maybe for a party or office gathering, you can get even more value for any of the above sushi picks. Php 299 for 24 pieces and Php 499 for 40 pieces. It may take awhile to prepare though so better to call them in advance.
Now they got Wagyu sticks as well just like everyone else. Theirs has more marble of meat and fat ratio and it also retails at Php 99 per stick.
For drinks they got some imported stuff to boast. I specifically tried two, Pokka Strawberry and Melon Milk. These were sold at normal prices and weren't bad for a canned beverage. Too bad they don't have ice that time.
Not familiar on how should I be pronouncing Ta Ke Ho Me, I instructed the tricycle driver from Panay Ave to take me to Take Home. Laughing, he corrected me and educated me to pronounce it the Filipino syllabic way. But brilliant as it is, their business approach is Sushi for take home or to go.
They have a small space to enjoy their Sushi if you choose to dine in. We chose to eat the following there:
Cali Maki
TKHM Roll
Spicy Tuna
Migori
Dragon Ball
Wagyu Cubes - My favorite! Wagyu for 99? Affordable
Aside from all their Sushi type matching my palate, I was delighted that they also have unique drinks. I had their Pokka Strawberry and Melon Milk. Also tried their Canada Dry Green Tea and couldn't stop. Didn't know that green tea would do well with sparkling ale.
Overall, this place is something you could recommend because of the convenience of the location and the affordability of the food. Plus the taste is definitely an A+. I just hoped their air conditioning will work fine the next time I visit them.
When you read Ta Ke Ho Me, though sounded like one but you'll soon realize it wasn't really a Japanese word. Pretty cool name for a Japanese Sushi Stall where the concept really is for "Take Home." The place is quite small and it can be pretty hot inside the during the afternoon so you have the option to stay and eat at the tables provided within the compound which is also shared with other food stalls.
They have 5 variants of Sushi which can be bought at 99Php for 8pcs, 299Php for 24pcs and 449Php for 40pcs. The prices are not that bad for me.
So the 5 variants are as follows:
Cali Maki - kani, mango and ebiko (4/5)
TKHM Roll - salmon, cream cheese and bonito (5/5)
Spicy Tuna - tuna and panko (4/5)
Migori - torched salmon and cucumber miso mayo (5/5)
Dragon Ball - spicy smoked salmon, mango and togarashi (3/5)
My favorite would have been TKHM roll and the Migori is my second best. The flavors are just the right balance unlike the spicy ones that are quite overwhelming though I love spicy flavor but you can dip it with the sauce to balance it out.
We also had the Wagyu Cubes for 99Php per stick. A little pricey for a small portion but it was soft and tasty.
There are imported beverages available that are perfect mate for Sushi like the natural and green tea ginger ale, melon and strawberry milks, Hawaiian punch, Kirin and other coolers and coca cola products.
They offer deliveries and take outs which I would prefer better because the place is not that convenient though the food is great. thumbs up!
Ta Ke Ho Me Sushi Stand is located right in front of ABS-CBN, beside Homers, along Sgt. Esguerra ave. It was a small stall that offers good sushi at a budget price. They have small tables inside but they also have some big tables outside. Good option while having your car cleaned up at the car wash right beside it. Best to order first before doing anything else as service takes a little while so have a little patience as well. Bad timing for us as the AC broke down while dining.
This time, we tried out the following:
- Cali Maki
- TKHM Roll (recommended)
- Spicy Tuna
- Migori (recommended)
- Dragon Ball
Their food are great for take out. If you are planning to take out their food, you can start off with 99 php for 8 pieces, or 229 php for 24 pieces
, and finally 449 php for 40 pieces. They also have a lot of drink selections, from local Coca cola products to international drinks. Unfortunately, no available service water or bottled water available.
It was ok with a lot of room for improvement, hopefully they could take time to work on these and who knows, things could get a lot better.
They had a kiosk at Robinsons Manila from August 8-11, so I was able to try their sushi there. Waiting time was around 20 mins since there were a lot of people who were ordering as well.
I ordered the bacon bomb (sushi wrapped with bacon), migori and spicy tuna. I didn't really expect much, given the price (P99 for 8 pcs, buy 1 take 1 bacon bomb for P99) but I can say that it met my expectations, tastewise. They could have used a better variant of rice though, since some of the sushi pieces would fall apart whenever I try to pick it up with chopsticks. Despite that, I think it's something that you won't hesitate to buy to satisfy your sushi cravings when you're on a tight budget. The bacon bomb was filled with kani, mango and nori; wrapped with bacon then it was deep fried and topped with japanese mayo afterwards. 2pcs of it would really make a good meal since it is kinda heavy, and it is something I would buy often if only they had a branch near me.
HITS
• Good for its worth. Cheap sushi but way better than ready to eat California Maki from grocery stalls.
• Serves affordable party trays
• Located across ABS-CBN News Compound. It in a food strip within a Car Wash--you can actually dine while waiting for your vehicle.
MISS
• Limited parking space

Spicy Tuna is the best flavor they have. You get 8 pieces for only P99, so you get your money's worth.
Would recommend. Their space is small though, so not for big groups dining in. Great to take home!
My friend and I have been planning on visiting them for a long time now, and we finally did! We shared the Cali Maki and Migori. It was sulit for its price but we did have issues with the rice they used. The maki falls apart when you pick it up, and the wasabi paste wasn't hot enough. I like putting wasabi on my maki but even when I have covered it with wasabi I only got a faint kick from it. I did like the Migori, and my friend and I agreed that it met our expectations (tastewise) for the price of 99. Basically, it was just okay.
TA KE HO ME (Takehome) Sushi is a tiny stall behind/ In front of Abs Cbn at Sgt. Esguerra which offers Japanese take-outs for people who are always on-the-go!
Sushi are staples on gathering and events. It's usually served in Bilao form, tastes good but doesn't really look any fancy. So when I heard about TA KE HO ME, I was astounded cause they're taking Japanese Takeouts into a whole new level.
Tbh, i'm not a fan super fan of sushi's just because. But once in a while I do crave for them. For our Annual Christmas party, my boyfriend and I decided to bring 2 boxes of Sushi for the potluck.
We ordered the 40 pcs assorted Sushi for P449 good for 5-8 pax. It consists of the California Maki, Tkhm Roll (Salmon, Cream, Cheese, Bonitos), Spicy Tuna, Migori (Torched Salmon, Miso, Mayo, Nori) and Dragon Ball (Spicy Smoked Salmon, Mango, 7 spices).
I am very impressed how all the sushi looked so presentable fancy and intricate.. It's as if i'm ordering from an authentic Japanese restaurant. I like how they didn't scrimped on the ingredients especially on the Japanese Mayo which made the sushi tastes so much better!
I personally liked the CALI MAKI and DRAGON BALL best, the others were just fine. I was able to eat around 5 Cali Maki lol and I can't stop eating them cause I was so amazed on the tiny scoop of jap mayo on top which makes it even more satisfying.
I would love to try and the others that they offer maybe sometime in the future 😊
TIP
✔️The sushi sets are customizable.
✔️They don't deliver but they accept orders for pick-up on the store.
✔️Good Parking around the area.
✔️AFFORDABLE
If you want some fancy-looking sushi, consider trying Ta Ke Ho Me! I got Migori and Dragon Ball! Dragon Ball is really kinda spicy while Migori is fine. Nothing special with the taste but it's a good try plus it's budget friendly.
My friend and I randomly chose Ta Ke Ho Me for our dinner since it's in the vicinity. She told me about it a few months ago and her experience was great thus, I was excited to try it. We ordered the 24pcs (Php299.00) which is a combination of 3 sushis of your choice. We decided to go with Tkhm roll, Migori and Dragon ball (arranged from most to least favorite). For the price and taste, it was spot on! Good job Ta Ke Ho Me. Will come back soon and definitely will order takeouts as well to share with my family.
i craved for california maki and ta ke ho me sushi definitely satisfied me! the love of my lifeand i ordered 40 pieces of assorted sushi, 8 of each the 5 flavors. I wanted to have more california maki since it was my favorite and i know i'm not a fan of spicy food and as what ive read from their menu which was good because it tells you the ingredients so you would save time asking "so what's in that?" and i saw spicy tuna and dragon ball's ingredients has spices on it. But the love of my life told me that we'll try all since it is our first time. the space was very cute but it was kinda dim, and to some it is nothing, but i dont like dim places like i only prefer 2 ends of the spectrum, a place that has bright lights and no lights, not something in between like dim places hahahahaha So when we got our order, 40 pcs was worth it for its price which was 449 php really, if the both of you are hungry and craving sushi for months. I tried the dragon ball first, which was spicy but not that spicy that you'll be crying afterwards, its savory spicy. i liked it. the second one i tried, was california maki and it was yummy ofc. the next one i tried was migori, the salmon was on point, i loved it. the next one i tried was the tkhm maki, it was cheesy since it has cream cheese in it and with the squid flakes (i forgot the real name) but it was also delicious and the last one i tried, th spicy tuna that wasnt really spicy at all. it was savory.
overall i loved the place and i'll definitely come back for the other ones on their menu, its hard to find places that serve great food with an affordable price.
Whenever we are in the north, which is rarely, we always stop by. The dragonball is yummy, goes really well with single malt scotch. For price, always a delightful snack

A friend of mine introduced me to the wonders of this delicious and yet surprisingly cheap place. It's just walking distance from Hi-Top Supermarket. I had the Cali Maki (aka California Maki) but, the mayo was too something (not sure anymore what) for me, but I'm not saying that it wasn't good, because it was Good. Also had a can of Pokka Strawberry Milk, which I haven't had in a while. All in all a good and tummy happy experience.
The food is okay.. Just okay. The rice they used is ordinary, not the sticky and soft Japanese rice. What can you expect for the price? The food is reasonable for its price. Will I return? Yes, but I won't take my car with me since they don't have parking space and the area is a "tow away" area.
This small sushi place at sgt esguerra will give you more than what you pay for. Make sure to try all their sushi. Brought my mom here (who by the way cooks authentic delicious jap food) and she likes it so much. Our personal favorites are the spicy tuna and migori. We were so full with sushi we forgot to try the sushirito. 😁 but seriously, if you want a quick, to-go taste of japan. Try this one out. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
If you are craving for maki you must try checking out this sushi stand. Very affordable but the quality is good. The only downside is that we waited for an hour beacuse they are receiving a lot of orders, though they are nice enough to get my number and let me know immediately if my orders are ready. You can find this sushi stand just in front of abs-cbn.
I personally loved the box of 40pcs assorted Maki that only costs 499.00 😁 only downside to this is that there's no parking space out front and almost got our car towed earlier.
overall verdict: good choice to satisfy your Maki craving 👍
Ordered 35 pieces, all for my self. Honestly, I was just carried away that I am finally here. Read about this place and was so giddy to try everything. Waited for 40 mins for my order and it was worth it. Their Cali maki is so tasty probably because of the generous amount of mayo. The dragon ball is so spicy but tolerable as well as the spicy tuna. Will come back for their rice balls and sushirito.
Good quality sushi for such an affordable price. 😁 Their sushi has that taste of having a lot of Japanese spices (esp with Dragon Ball). We got to try the TKHM roll, Migori, and Dragon Ball and I liked TKHM the most, then Migori, then Dragon Ball. Wanted to try the Spicy Tuna but it wasn't available when I was there. For the price, the unique sushi rolls they offer are definitely worth a try.
Check out my review at Adobe Spark Page! This includes Mom & Tina's Bakery Cafe but do read on. Thanks!

We had to wait for about one and a half hour but it was totally worth it! Except for sushirrito ✌🏼️ but the sushis and the rice ball are so gooood

The price is right! A sushi with great flavors at a cost below php 100 for 8 pcs.?? Wow you cannot get any better than that.
I like how they have different flavors not just the typical california maki which we often see from budgeted sushi stops.
The place is good when you would just like to have snack or take out. Don't expect a very nice ambiance on that price :)
We went here for the sushiritos, but the sushi also looks appetizing so we ordered some.
Unfortunately, the place was really small, and there was a bit of a line though it was sunday lunch when we went there, told us our order will be ready after almost an hour. (so we went to the nearby restaurant, ordered a little before going back here)
The sushi was good. I like the dragon ball and the TKHM, but the California Maki was rather ordinary (Migori wasn't available). We shared the salmon sushirito but was a bit disappointed, because it has lots of rice and maybe a bit dry on the middle. They have cutely-labeled condiments to add to their food though.
We were a bit full (because we already ate a little from a nearby restaurant) so we just took the rest of the sushi home, which my sisters also liked.
Bottom line: we may go back for the sushi (i think its good value for its taste) but I will prefer to eat my sushirito somewhere else, especially if we consider the time constraint and the smallness of the place (hard to dine in).
didn't know i could eat so much sushi in one sitting 😳
40 pcs for only 450 with 5 variants to choose from. typing this made me wish they had a delivery service huhu been here twice with the boyfie who wasn't a sushi fan until ta ke ho me, haha now he loves it almost as much as i do!!

I have mixed emotions about the food, but service and price is worth an additional point.
I personally didnt enjoy the tuna rice ball and anything with salmon, but my dad said he did - so the food must be alright.
24pcs of sushi and a chinese takeout box of tuna-stuffed rice for 500php is a good deal. Plus, we had our food delivered to katipunan from tomas morato and it arrived intact and hot!
Will definitely be back tho.. I would love to try the sushirito. 😊
Ps: they deliver through the app! Check it out
We've been eyeing this sushi place since it has been the talk of the town on Facebook. It was my actually my third attempt to go there. The first one was when classes were suspended, I planned to go there before going to my part-time job because I was really craving for sushi but when I got there, they were closed for a short break. So I decided to leave and try it the next day, I called them up to ask but the guy said there were too many people lined up outside.
Apparently, third time really is the charm these days (lol 😂) on my third attempt, I went there with my friends. I told them that they take a break from 3-5:30 so we killed time at Cafe I'm Here but when we got there, there were already a lot of people in line. One of the owners gave us a number and we had to wait for approximately 30 minutes to order. We were surprised when the girl told us that we still have to wait for an hour for preparation which actually sucked because we were hungry.
So here's the verdict:
We ordered TKHM roll, California Maki, and Dragon ball 6pcs each for only P299. And 10 pcs salmon sashimi.
The California Maki was normal, nothing special but it was good for the price. The TKHM roll is probably one of their own creations, it's good! It's actually better than I expected. The dragon ball was too spicy for me I ended up giving it to my friend, but they said it's really delicious. I loved the texture of it, though, but the spiciness took over my taste buds I couldn't fathom if it was really delicious.
The savior of the night was the sashimi! It was really fresh and delicious. It was not too thin as well unlike the sashimi from other restaurants. It was totally a good buy and we actually wanted more.
Taste: 8/10
Price: 10/10
Service: 9/10
PS. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. I know this sushi place has a big potential and since they are talk of the town now, I hope they do something about the waiting time. 👍🏼
PSS. They are on their soft opening so I'm sure they'll do something to improve it! :)
We went there on a Wednesday, around 5-6pm. There were not many people but our orders took 30 minutes which they told us upon ordering so it wasn't really unexpected. We got salmon sushirito which was disappointing since it only had cabbage, salmon, and mayo. We got the following sushi: dragon ball, spicy tuna, and migori. All except the dragon ball was good. We don't like spicy sushi. I advice to go at around lunch so they don't run out of sashimi. Haha.
Their sushi menu's really creative and yummy! You can combine different kinds of sushi in a box and you can enjoy 24 pcs for 299php only! Such a steal right? The sashimi also has some generous cuts and tastes fresh! I highly recommend pre-ordering first so you dont have to wait. You can place your order via call/text and just tell them what time you would pick it up cause they really sell out so fast!
Very particular when it comes to Japanese food. This place passed the taste test. Best part: fast food type/quick bite. Hassle free quality orders. ❤️
