I had the Malayan chicken curry with potatoes and steamed hainanese rice. The curry was absolutely delicious and with the added potatoes was great. Everything tasted great. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was because the food could of been a little warmer. Service was great.
I like this brand since it offers a wide array of asian food. If you're sick of the usual steak and other English food, then go for this restaurant.
Good food and a nice place to be with family. It feels very asian since you will be eating in a banana leaf. I love the Roti Canai and the Beef Rendang.

I went here last time with my family since we got curious on why the restaurant had so many people. When we got in, we're briefed of the best sellers and we have given it a try.
I must say I got astonished on the restaurant interior and the food. For its price, I'll give it a 5/5.
I'm a frequent patron of this resto. The service is not great; the staff tend to slack and are slow at off peak times (I don't eat at the regular meal hours, btw.) The food tho is great if you want non-Filipino but Asian choices.
My personal favorites are chicken satay and roti canai with condensed milk dip and the fish in malayan sauce.
I've brought 2 Indian guests on separate occasions. Both highly approved of the dishes. They've tried chicken satay, vegetable samosa, and nase goreng.
Here are some of the food that we tried:
Roti Canai: as a fil-arab, bread is a serious matter to me but THIS was sooooo gooood! the curry sauce was a tad more on the lighter side, i guess adjusted to the filipino palate. i have to say tho that it was a bit pricey for just a roti
Nasi Lemak: the portions are huuuuge!! the chicken was seasoned so well i've never tasted a fried chicken that flavorful in so long. the coconut rice was a bit meh, it was like plain rice with specks of coconut cream, no coconut taste tbh. overall an awesome and satisfying dish!!
Pad Thai: the one we ordered was the original or thai style one (i forgot what it was called) and it was just a letdown!! wehaven't haven't had pad thai in a long time so we were really excited to try but it didn't taste good so disappointing. there was too much tamarind paste in the sauce. but they have this banana leaf style pad thai which we haven't tried and it better taste great next time

good food and service is good I highly recommend this restaurant to my friends. Abigail is friendly and treat the customers well. This is the first time we eat in this restaurant and the food taste good.
Awesome cheap fix for me. Love their curry. Love their roti and everything else. Staff and service were pretty decent too! I actually think I eat here once every 2 months.
We went last Tuesday Feb 19, 2019 around 8pm almost closing time and WE HAD THE BEST DINNER EVER, food is great plus customer service is really top notch, KUYA JOSE specifically is a very very accomodating and smiling employee, he greeted us with a smile the 1st time he saw us and lead us to our seats. He deserves the praise bec. he's really kind. Management should give him a salary raise. Anw, love the food especially shrimp paste rice and chicken pandan! Perfect combo, will definitely come back. Whenever may lunch or dinner at SM North, I’d / we’d always get desserts at Banana Leaf after - the servers noticed it, ilan’g beses na kasi, ahaha, next raw lunch or dinner sakanila na rin! LOL.
Been to this restaurant several times.All the staffs specially the Officer In Charge Ms.Abigael Naagas, Ms.Leslie (Receptionist) and Regina are very friendly and welcoming.I usually bring my associates in this restaurant to have a meeting.I really enjoyed the Roti Canai,Chicken Satay and Vegetable Samosa.The restaurant is so relaxing.
For me I would prefer to keep coming back here because the food was delicious and perfectly presented. The price of the food was affordable.

Ordered Nasi Goreng, Laksa, Pandan Chicken, Pandan Iced Tea, Tea Tarik, Mango Sticky Rice. Though not an expert, I love Southeast Asian food! So prior to having lunch in Banana Leaf, I had expectations. Good experience so far. Everything was served nicely - presentation, temperature, serving size, taste, texture, etc. So overall, our meal was sulit and satisfying.
Place is small though. Your clothes can absorb the aroma of the food (Probably due to the fact that Asian food have very aromatic spices).
It has the cozy vibe and the staff were polite. The price isn't bad because the servings are huge.
We ordered the following:
Pork Curry with Pineapple- I liked it because it was not the typical Pinoy curry that I am used too. I just thought that the flavor of the basil was too strong, if that was really the basil. I don't know.
Pad Thai Banana Leaf Style - not bad, but not remarkable.
Shrimp Ball wit Cheese - it's meaty, you can really see the shrimp but I hardly tasted the cheese.
Con - there was a lot of fly while we were dining
Pro - the staffs when out of their way to give us candles to keep the flies off our table.
We waited 25min for our order to be served its 1:30pm we had lunch a little bit before 2pm. We like what we ordered nasi goreng rice and grilled pork Thai style.
The service was great evene the service. But when it comes to the ambiance it was so-so. Maybe the location of the restaurant was not that appropriate
Great food! Loved the fact that its cooked to order and not pre heated. Place is small but the food and presentation compensates for that. We'll definitely come back

PENANG CHAR KUEY TEOW By Banana Leaf. Malaysian favorite fried flat noodles is well presented and served in one of the Philippines Leading Asian Restaurant - Banana Leaf.
This is a very savory dish. You can say that asians really love flavorful and spicy dishes. Char Kuey Teow is popular in Penang, Malaysia as what the name implies. This is a mix of mama noodles, eggs, shrimps, mongo sprouts, spring onions, and that secret spice aroma that is really addictive.
I would say that the shrimp and stellar noodles already gets me. YOU SHOULD TRY THIS PROMISE!
Overall, the food taste the same with their other branches. Highly recommended. However, what I don't like about the place is the exhaust. If you dine inside, your clothes will absorb the smell of the kitchen. I would recommend you choose the table outside. Also, they have promo right now in metrodeal - better check it out.
