Frech Baker was my go to lunch during college. I have not eaten at any of their branches in years. I ate lunch yesterday at the Trinoma branch yesterday and was happy that it was still consistent with what I remembered. I had Korean beef with soup and my wife had chicken salad. Compared to other restaurants they served the food hot. I don’t mind waiting for my food as long as you serve it hot. The soup was nice the crouton was a bit hard. The salad had just the right amount of dressing but the chicken was a bit dry. Overall it was a nice meal before grocery. Will I eat here again? Yes because it’s cheap =)

Still my favorite place to get a satisfying serving of beef lasagna. It has a comforting flavor similar to the childhood nostalgia you would get with some Jollibee spaghetti.

The pastries and breads are always consistently good. My love for puff pastry is always satisfied here. Their garlic bread is still the usual accompaniment to pasta nights at home. Despite the onslaught of new trendy bakeries, the French Baker is consistent and affordable.

The soup in the gigantic bread bowl is also a frequent choice for me and my family.

While waiting for someone using the MRT to trinoma, I had some merienda at french baker landmark. This is the one with dining tables and not the kiosk time in the food court area of landmark. I ordered a tuna sandwich and ordered to go in case my friend arrives early and we have to run off. The items were very nicely packed and even the salad was placed in clamshell plastic containers. The chips were sealed in a plastic bag even. French baker is a great place to get coffee and light meals. Eating out always makes you very unhealthy and any restaurant that offers healthy food is a big plus for me.
