Affordable go-to place for Filipino style breakfast: fried rice, tuyo, champorado, etc. I went here with my family to celebrate my birthday and my sister got me their Strawberry Cake 😌 Desserts are affordable and available from breakfast to dinner.

Sweet Inspirations is our go-to resto when we feel like having mongolian bbq here in tomas morato area. Their other a la carte items are so-so and servings are relatively small and generally not value for money. Expect to wait a bit also when you order a la carte. But you’ll never go wrong with their mongolian bbq buffet...yum yum and super filling...and still so reasonably priced at 420.00! 👍👍👍
Whenever you have a cravings for food that will fully satisfy you, mongolian grill never fails. You get a free hand at choosing the ingredients you want in your bowl. This is the time that I catch up on my veggies and my favorite squid. Always a filling time whenever we eat here.
Food is nice. Service nice, but had to repeat follow on coffees and ice teas. Table setting could be better if placed on a better level. Could have used nice shafing dish than spread and leaning with your whole body across the serving table.
We went here to try their cakes. It was good but it does not really give a “wow factor”. Still a nice cozy place to meet-up with your friends and family. Maybe next time we’ll try their main menu. 😁
Breakfast buffet = value for money..

good value for money. meat and ingredients are of good quality and always refilled. service is efficient. the place is clean and parking available
My favorite go-to place for all-you-can-eat Mongolian bowl! Worth every peso (Php399).
The place is cozy with plenty of power outlets , so I often eat and study here. ;-)
The servers are also very accommodating and attentive.
Be sure to come hungry!
Our place to go for a quick breakfast. The staff are always accommodating. If we wanted their food cooked in a different way, they will do it. One time they made me Tortang talong. One of my best breakfasts there ever.
Breakfast items that are always there:
Rice, plain and fried
Champorado
Arrozcaldo
Danggit
Tuyo
Scrambled Eggs
Mixed Fruits
Bibingka
Puto Bumbong
One or two other viands that are always different
Sweet Inspirations has been around for a long time. I remember always seeing it along Katipunan when I have errands to do within the area. However, I never got the time to drop by. I figured that I could get my slice of cake elsewhere. But I had no idea that this place offers more than sweets.
Hello, Sweet Inspirations.
💯% food here are healthy..
💯% people are accomodating..
💯% clean bathroom..
cozy place to have a long chikka with good old friends..
Must recommend to friends and relatives superrr affordable 👌
More than just their Mongolian bowls.
If you have studied near or along Katipunan, chances are that you are familiar with Sweet Inspirations. This restaurant has been around since the 90s, one of the first to serve affordable Mongolian bowls in the area. (Remember Kublai's? Anyway, I digress) It's fun trying out different sauces and making your rice bowl fit your personal taste. Other than Mongolian rice, they have several cakes that are pretty decent. I particularly like the pistachio sansrival.
I have seen their newly minted second branch open near our gym. We haven't gotten around to trying it until last week. After a particularly tiring workout, we just decided to eat at Sweet Inspi one floor up from our gym. We both decided on Adobo flakes served with rice and eggs. What's great here is you have an option of brown rice-- better glycemic index than the more popular white rice. I had mine still turned into garlic rice (they don't take shortcuts, they really cook the garlic rice thru and not just put garlic on top). I liked the adobo flakes-- the serving size was just right for a hungry, post workout individual.
We couldn't resist getting the ube cake for dessert. We shared a slice-- sinful after a workout! I thought it a was little dry and I still prefer the pistachio sansrival any day.
Looks like we will be coming back to this place soon!
We came by this quaint restaurant at the corner of Hemady and E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue in New Manila, Quezon City by sheer chance. We were opening an account in one of the banks in the area when we felt hungry. The guard in the bank recommended that we try the restaurant located at the third floor of their building. Since we were really famished, we decided to oblige.
Im not really a fan of Mongolian but their eat-all-you-can offer was too tempting not to try at only P380. The selection of meat, veggies and sauces were really awesome! Hungry as I was, I wanted to try every combination available. But after three full bowls, My tummy was ready to burst!
Admittedly, there are still a lot in the menu for me to try. My wife ordered their Spicy Pork Spare Ribs and it was heavenly! Perfect blend of spices resulting to a very delectable peace of meat dish with just the right amount of zing into it! Yummy!!
The restaurant's ambiance was generally cozy and welcoming. The underground building parking was a welcome plus. Just make sure to have your parking ticket be validated so you'll be free of charge. The staff were very courteous and accommodating as well. We were really so glad we tried this place out. We definitely recommend this restaurant and we'll be coming back for more! 😁👍🏼
When I was still studying in Ateneo, I'd always cross Katipunan with my friends to have Sweet Inspirations' Sirloin Tapa for lunch. It was one of the best tapas ever. I was so thrilled when Sweet Inspirations opened in New Manila because it's a lot closer to me than the Katipunan branch.
I brought hubby and kids with me for dinner and we all decided to avail of their Eat-All-You-Can Mongolian Rice Bowl for P380. You DIY your own rice bowl with using the available ingredients laid out on a long table buffet style. They have rice and sotanghon for carbs. Then there are maybe over 10 different vegetables and over a dozen ingredients for the seasoning your creation. For meat there's pork, chicken, beef, fish, and squid. If you're not comfortable with making your own bowl, the staff will readily assist you. You make as many bowls as you can eat, there's just a no leftover rule so make sure you can finish everything.
If you're not the eat-all-you-can type, you can actually avail of a single Mongolian Rice Bowl for P240 during weekdays from 10:30am to 3pm.
Their unlimited Mongolian Rice Bowl is a pretty good deal especially if you're hungry. The meats and veggies are of good quality and you're getting a complete meal with every bowl. Yummy!
Definitely going back to have some of their delicious Sirloin Tapa so I can relive my college days lol.

I always pass by Café Sweet Inspirations in Katipunan while I was still in University. I’ve always wanted to try this restaurant as it looks nice on the exterior. Thanks to Harvard I was able to sample few of Café Sweet Insipration’s best-sellers earlier this month.
I didn’t know that this restaurant is serving Mongolian Bowls. Unlimited at that. It’s 100% DIY, meaning you have the option to choose everything in your bowl. For only 380php, I think it’s so sulit if you want to feast. From meat to veggies to sauces, you have the control. It’s so fun choosing what to put in my bowl as all look appetizing. Since I’m a meat lover, I decided to have chicken, pork, beef, and liver. I partnered this with rice, carrots, sesame seeds, peanut, garlic and chili. I let the staff mixed the sauces but I told him to make it sweet and spicy.
You may watch how your food is being prepared by looking at a small window in the kitchen. I think it’s cool and you may want to have some pictures taken.
I think I made the right mix of ingredients in my bowl as it tasted good. I loved that it was spicy and still flavorful. The liver added to the wonderful mix of flavors in my bowl. Johnbunaga so loved it. I suggest adding it when you create your own Mongolian bowl.
While I was enjoying my food, the staff served us slices of cakes. Oh, how beautiful those cakes were. We were served the following.
** Strawberry Shortcake
** New York Cheesecake
** Red Velvet Cake
** Pistachios Sansrival
** Mango Cream Pie
** Ube Cake
** Salted Caramel Moist Cake
Among these, my favorite would be the Pistachios Sansrival. I can taste real pistachios and I like the texture of each layer of the cake. I also liked the Mango Cream Pie. Well, who can go wrong with mango and cream?
We were also served halo-halo with beautiful ube and leche flan on top but sadly, I was not able to try this. Next time, I swear!
The service was good. One of the staff asked us what we wanted to drink and I appreciate how helpful he was in suggesting me their bestsellers. The owner was also there and I love how friendly and welcoming she was. Again, thank you Sweet Inspirations!
P.S. This is their 2nd branch.
I have a sweet tooth and I can never break up with sugars. Heck do I care if they cause me added pounds. I love my sweets and desserts. Whenever I dine out a dessert is a must, especially cakes and pastries. I can't pinpoint which are my favorites, I basically love them all! . Sweet Inspirations prides itself for its delectable desserts, regarded by its customers to be one of the best and most gratifying restaurants in Manila. This, together with home-cooked, appetizing a la carte favorites, has given Sweet Inspirations a reputation for offering nothing but exquisitely delicious food.
I was invited by AlwaysHungry.Ph to join a two eat up which started on Saturday afternoon. Our first stop is a well known restaurant in Katipunan, Quezon City which opened their branch in E.Rodriguez, Quezon City. The name of the restaurant is Sweet Inspirations Restaurant and Bakeshop. E.Rodriguez branch is located at the 3rd floor of Hemady Square building.
Sweet Inspirations is known for their delicious unlimited DIY Mongolian Rice Bowl. It's very affordable for Php380.00 and Php240.00 for single serving. 4 different kinds of sauce to suit the flavor/taste that I want - Hot and Spicy, Sweet and Spicy, Sweet and Sour & Sweet. The staff recommends the bestseller Sweet and Spicy, it's made of chili paste, brown sugar, Mongolian sauce, teriyaki sauce, Szechuan sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic water and lemon water. By the way I made my own Mongolian Rice Bowl - rice, noodles, tofu, beef, chicken, squid and some veggies.
🍚Mongolian Rice Bowl - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
"I like the mixture of the sweet and spicy sauce with my Mongolian Rice Bowl. It ended up really well. I want to eat more but unfortunately I need to save some space for our next stop. But the Mongolian Rice Bowl was really appetizing and it's so good!"
Aside from the Mongolian Rice Bowl, we also tried their desserts. There's Yema Cake, Chocolate Cake, Mango Cake, Pistachio Sanrival, Ube Cake and Halo-halo. My favorite was the Pistachio Sansrival. I just can't help it! I'm so in love with nutty goodness of the cake.
Overall, Sweet Inspirations Restaurant and Bakeshop never fail to satisfy my craving for Mongolian Rice Bowl. The restaurant also provided good service.
Thank you Harvard! 😉
#ilovetoeatph 😃❤️
Tried reserving a table through Zomato and it's a lot more convenient than calling! :) I love this feature.
Anyway, this branch is closer to our home, and there's free parking! :) This branch is also more spacious, and the food is still just as deliciois!
The staff are a lot friendlier here too.
I'll always come back to this branch!
I live in San Juan area and while there is an abundance of chinese cuisine in every corner, there is a lack of mongolian food. Im happy that this restaurant has opened another branch in new manila. Its an eat all you can buffet located at Hemady Square. I prefer this branch compared to the one in Katipunan, its not as busy, more quiet and better parking. They also offer breakfast buffet in the morning. Price is very affordable. Bathroom very clean. Friendly staff.
An easy place to find. If you wanna eat somewhere quite yet accessible you should try this place. Their buffet is great but this is a great place to eat sweets and breakfast.
Maaasahan! Lovely staff! My pick for Mongolian buffet and weekend breakfast buffet in Katipunan area! Been there a couple of times and I've been to parties wherein they catered. Sarap and busog!

Great food with reasonable prices! :D :) Definitely a must try casual dining. Looking forward to my next sweet inspirations experience! #SARAP
One of my go-to restaurants for dates and family gatherings. Always craving for their MONGOLIAN BUFFET and CRISPY BEEF! Great food. Great ambiance. Great service!
We love dinning here with my family. The price is very affordable for a delicious mongolian buffet! Two Thumbs up! The place is clean and cozy also.
My family and I love it here! The mongolian rice bowls always come out perfect no matter which sauce you choose to use. The menu items are great as well. I recommend the tapsilog - the marinade on the tapa is amazing. Another favorite of ours are the cakes and their merienda offerings, like the puto bumbong with cheese. The ambience is amazing as well. This is a place we love coming back to.

I've been here a couple of times and they have the best tasting Mongolian I've tried so far. For P370 eat-all-you-can, it is definitely worth your money. Their cakes and pastries are good as well - the yema is a must try. If you happen to be around New Manila, I suggest you drop by for a lunch/dinner out with your family and friends. The ambiance is very cozy, and they maintained the decors that can be found in their Katipunan Branch too.
The Mongolian Eat All You Can is a must try! especially if you love rice and toppings, this is the best food option for you in Cafe Sweet Inspiration. They offer different types of sauce and flavors (they even have some recommended ingredient mix if you want to get a certain flavor to it, or for first timers;) ) I also tried the breakfast buffet and it was a mix of Filipino - American food choices. Their cakes are awesome too! perfect for special occassions also. As for the store's interior, the ambience is cool and friendly, perfect for family gatherings
They have the best-tasting Mongolian Rice Bowls! It's a one stop shop. They have it all! From, Ala-cartes , cakes to pastries! My personal favorite is their Crispy Beef, Seafood Pasta and Spicy Pork Spareribs.
For their cakes, I highly recommend the Pistachios Sansrival, Chocolate Decadent, Caramel Cake & Choco Java.
The price and quality of their food is the same as their well-loved Katipunan branch.I highly recommend this place from dates to family get-togethers :)
Not many Mongolian places exist. Sweet Inspirations somehow owned this segment being in this cuisine for many years. This is their second branch from their iconic Katipunan location. You can spot them on the third floor of Hemady Square.
For Php 370 net the deal is quite a steal. They offer you this unlimited deal for a maximum of 3 hours and you pay additional Php 150 for leftovers. They also have Php 230 single bowl from 12-3pm on weekdays.
The Mongolian station has all meat options from chicken, beef, pork, squid and even liver. They also have a staff willing to assist on concocting a combination on top of a guide instruction in front of you.
The vegetables are crisp and fresh, seems prepared just that time when they refill it. Meats are thawed and not cold. The downside is it takes awhile to cook despite a light crowd when we went.
