Been around Eastwood since I'm working around the place then I wasn't so sure why does it lead me into this hidden place inside Metropoli Residenza, cozy, and romantic, the food was good and i want to emphasize the beyond the expectation service that the staff and i think he was the supervisor they have shown us,it exceeded the usual service i can say it is more like with a personal touch, accommodating and super friendly....cant wait to be back with my family some other time.

Overall The Community Kitchen in Libis Quezon City got an overall rating of 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡.
I can actually give them more than 5🧡, 'cause they definitely deserved it. For their place, to their food, the value for the money you'll spend here was worth it. If I have to spend such amount of money for this kind of food and service, I'll definitely splurge, especially if it's for my love ones. Christmas is worth spending here. Thank you for Great food and experience. Bravo! Félicitations! Excellent travail.
Definitely a feast for your senses.
I can't see any reason to NOT love this resto. On my visit, I was welcomed by their very friendly staff. Its cozy yet edgy interiors made it even more inviting.
The food was definitely amazing. They outsource their ingredients from local produce and elevate them into quality cuisine dishes.
I love the resto's advocacy of supporting local. From there, I saw how they wanted to give back in their own way to the local workers that provide products.
As for the food, I really loved the scampi and white clam pizza (if I remember its name correctly). They are not the typical ones that you can order from other restos. These taste very refreshing! All the flavors complement each other to melt your taste buds. I also love how tender the entree was.
It's actually hard to say what my favorite was because all of the dishes were prepared and cooked into perfection. It all tastes rich yet feels light when eaten!
Just wanna say that I will definitely go back to this resto especially for its KOUIGN AMAN! MY GOD, I had one set of rolls and swear, I finished them in one seating. They taste that good!
Kudos to the chefs! 💕
It’s the most wonderful time of the year and everyone deserves delicious feast! That’s what The Community Kitchen offers. This hidden gem is located in quite street of Libis, Quezon City. They serves French-Italian dishes using fresh ingredients from different community producers. They baked delectable bread and pastries and created a home-made ice cream from the freshest locally sourced carabao's milk.
I'm a huge fan of their Beef Shank Ragu. The beef is tender and the sauce is very mouthwatering. I like also their Shrimp in Sesame Dressing Salad!
Who doesn't love pastries? Well, I fell in love with their Kouign Amann - it has cartelized sugar crunch on outside and when you bite, you will feel the soft croissant like inside.
Got a chance to try their sardough pizza. If you are first time here, must try their Four Cheese flavor! I tasted the mozarella, parmesan, cheddar and blue cheese. It was well presented, not overcooked nor undercooked and it has good amount of cheese.
The atmosphere is very great and service is excellent! Will definitely back!
The food is amazing, the ambience is great! I love the extremely generous serving size, delicious fusion of food and the cozy interior. Really wonderful place to bond with friends, take someone out on a date and even spend special occasions with those special people in your life. My favorites would have to be the Kouign Aman, extremely tender Baked Pork Ribs, and the Beef Shank Ragu pasta!!! Excited to be back with special people in my life 🥰
Wifey came from a bloggers event last Friday, we waited for her to finish her event and she brought us this lovely Kouign Amann and the Quezo De Bola cookie. I am a fan of cinnamon, I thought it was a cinnamon at first but when I've tasted it, I tasted something more. Something upgraded than the usual Sweet bun we used to buy to different bakeries, this is something to come back for. Proof that it is really good, is we're going home to Novaliches from Libis, and this awesome goodness is gone in minutes! We finished it just before we left Katipunan. Awesome isn't it? Wifey promised to take us there soon and I can't wait to have another bite of this love. Oh btw, the Quezo De Bola is well-loved by our 3yr old kid, it's not nakakaumay and we love that when you bite into it, you'll get some crunchy part. Really really nice.

Anything under the sun...

The Community Kitchen

Bonjour! Are you looking for a fine dining where in you can gather your circle of friends and loved ones to a place for sharing ideas, unforgetable moments and experiences over a heart food. Well, The Community Kitchen is a perfect place for it. Just recently, I discovered this place located in Metropoli, Libis, Quezon City.
Excellent food and nice ambiance, that's what The Community Kitchen has to offer. It has a cozy place, nice and instagramable interior where in you can chill in dig in to their sumptuous food...a French-Italian cuisine, freshly baked bread and pastries and indulging home made ice cream.

Here are their delectable dishes that you must try.

Grandpa's Favorite Soup. You can really taste the fresh tomato in the soup and the pasta is aldente.

Shrimp in Sesame Dressing and Sesame Salad. Very generous toppings and overloaded of veggies, herbs and seasoning. perfect for health conscious.

Sourdough Pizzas. A generous amount of toppings and the dough is really tasteful. For a vegetarian, seafood lover and carnivore, you can choose your prefered flavor.

Pasta. Beef Shank Ragu, a chunky beef that is so tender plus flavorful red wine marina is really good. While Scampi has a fresh shrimps added, my favorite in the menu.

Baked Pork Ribs and Roasted Chicken. Very flavorful herbs and spices added and the meat is tender.

Kouign Aman Sourdough. I love the softness and sweetness of this, it reminds me of a cinnamon roll but this one is sooo good. Also my favorite.

Papa Diddi's Handcrafted Ice Cream. Fell in love in this Ice Cream bar! They offer a very unique flavor that is so creamy and genwrous flavor. My favorites are their beat seller, Tres Leches, Malagos, and Forbidden.
My verdict: I love the food they offered. As if you dine in a 5 star Hotel but here in The Community Kitchen, they serve a generous amount of food, the price is very reasonable. They have a variety of food to choose from Pasta, Pizza, Salad, Bread and Pastries and Dessert, they all have it. Recommended and I will definitely go back here.

Bonapetit! 🍽️🍷

In every neighborhood, there is that one home, one table, one room, where everyone comes together as a community. That’s what The Community Kitchen has envisioned.
Welcoming you and your personal community of friends and family to a place for sharing thoughts, moments and memories over hearty food - a shared meal with kindred spirits.
Serving good food is what they pride of - food that’s uncompromisingly delicious, made with much care and bringing the freshest ingredients from different community producers to the dining table.
Currently available until New Year’s is their Holiday Set Meals that’s good for 12 pax worth 7,500 to 12,000 depending on the food choices.
Start the festive feast with Grandpa’s favorite soup (their version of Minestrone). Have a salad of either Shrimp in Sesame Dressing or Caesar Salad.
Enjoy their three sourdough pizzas that have a thick cheese base and lovely toppings before moving over to their pastas. Choose between the Beef Shank Ragu or the Scampi. Personally, lovin’ the Ragu i tell yah!
Packin’ on the protein for your entrée can be the Baked Pork Ribs or the Roasted Chicken. I’d reco the chicken for it’s more savory, but I only have the ribs to showcase, hehe.
From their oven they create freshly baked bread and pastries every day. A must try are their sourdough and kouign aman that’s made with much love and attention.
From their creamery, they sell home-made ice cream that’s made from the freshest and locally sourced carabao’s milk called Papa Didi’s.
Like any good neighbor, they offer food deliveries from their kitchen right at the comfort of your own home.
The Community Kitchen is also a place to bring the community of independent traders, social entrepreneurs, local producers to the community nearby.
Found this new cafe around metropoli and i just fell inlove with it. The interior was cozy perfect for meeting, date or just a simple me time. The food was amazing! Specially the meat was tender and savory plus the servers are always smiling and very accommodating. Will surely comeback again!
ive been always honest with my reviews and this time im just speechless. speechless because of how good the food we ordered here. super gastronomical and solved all my cravings. my favorite was the roasted chiken and ice cream. i will keep coming back for more. cant just get enough! also. the staff are really accomodating. the place feels like homethat’s why dining here is such an awesome experience.
This is a charming, stylish restaurant in front of a pocket residential village called Metropoli Residenza. The outer part of the building is very pretty, inspired by New York’s brick apartments from the inside and out. New York figures in black and white photographs on the wall.
I understand that the creators of Papa Diddi’s are co-owners in this venture.
I eventually decided against sampling their coffee and their well-reputed Kouign-Amann, which is harder and harder to find in Quezon City, instead going for a corn chowder and a pasta with ossobuco ragu.
The corn was more soup than chowder, and with a lot of bell pepper (not listed in the description). The ragu was beautiful on the pasta, if slightly underseasoned, which is very, very easy to fix.
So the Kouign Amann is for sale at P400 for a whole loaf, and for dessert it is offered a la mode, with Papa Diddi’s ice cream. That sounds like a good treat to try for another time.
Arriving at Metropoli Drive at two in the afternoon and coming from the traffic-prone street of Libis, one gets a tad disoriented. Metropoli Drive is a quiet street the absence of loud human activities adds to the laid back feel as he enters The Community Kitchen.
The restaurant is laid back (that much has been established). It’s so beautifully laid back that I caught myself whispering to the male server as I entered the establishment for fear that I might initiate unwanted disorder. Everything went back to normal when they started serving the food.
Of all the three pizzas they served, it was the White Clam (clams and arugula) I enjoyed the most. The arugula was a nice touch giving a crunch at every bite. The Capricciosa came next which had so many flavors coming from different ingredients like artichoke, ham and a sunny side up egg. Equally-good was the Seafood Pizza with a blend of strong flavors coming from prawns, capers and salmon.
We were, likewise, served Kouign-amman, a round and multi-layered pastry that’s rich in butter and caramelized sugar. Another buttery bread was the Pull Apart. Sweet, a bit flaky, reminded me of soft dinner roll I used to love many moons back.
As of the pasta choices, the Beef Shank Ragu was on top. The sauce was bursting with beef flavor and the noodles were perfectly al dente.
And finally, we ended our fun food journey with different hand-crafted ice cream flavors by Papa Diddi with Malagos Choco and Cheese topping my list.
The Community Kitchen serves French-Italian-inspired dishes, and unique baked goods and pastries. It was easy to get the servers' attention. Place is quite small but the ambiance was homey and private. Location is quite hidden.
Let's go to the food:
The Seafood Pizza smells good and it doesn't have that fishy taste. It has some salmon inside it.
Salmon and Lemon Pasta - it was not too creamy but the taste is on point!
Kouign-amann (kween-ahman) is a Breton cake. It is a round and multi-layered cake containing layers of butter and sugar folded in. It was buttery, sweet, and chewy enveloped by a caramelized flaky crust. It's one of their best-sellers. The sweet part is at the bottom.
Beef Ragu Pasta - has real chunks of beef. The sauce was rich, made with flavorful bone-in beef shanks . The linguine pasta was cooked al dente. Maybe the taste was strong (not sweet/not tomatoish).
Scampi Pasta - not a cream-based pasta dish. It has that seafood taste (not fishy) and it gives you a hint of spiciness.
Sourdough - Chewy, crisp, airy sourdough bread baked fresh everyday.
Pull Apart bread is one of my favorites. It was flaky, and grainy (because of the sugary thing on top of it). Ot was also buttery, it has that melt-in-your-mouth consistency you'll find hard to pull away from.
I also recommend Capricciosa Pizza . It looks like a breakfast pizza because it's topped with egg. It's one of the pizzas that kids will love, well, not only kids haha.
We got to try Papa Diddi's ice cream here in The Community Kitchen. They serve handcrafted ice cream here with unique flavors. I recommend the Malagos Choco Caramello flavor, and the Cheese Closed (if I'm not mistaken).
Pricr range is on the average-higher side. I recommend Community Kitchen especially if you have a date, business meetings, etc.
My very first restaurant I've dined in around Eastwood area, and was worth the extra mile!
For the pastas, we had the Shrimp Scampi, Salmon & Lemon, and Beef Shank Ragu. My forever fave is the Shrimp Scampi, that's why I was so excited to try their version of it! Their scampi is a bit spicy, but has a good balance of flavors! Also, the Salmon & Lemon is as light as whenever I eat a pesto pasta. The Beef Shank Ragu has a generous amount of sauce on top, and tasted like Kaldereta to me (in a good way!).
For the pizzas, we tried the Capricciosa, White Clam, and Seafood. My personal favorite was the Cappricciosa-- it was the cheeziest on my tastebuds. I find the Seafood Pizza odd (maybe because I'm not fond of olives), while the White Clam is also good.
For the breads, I loooooove their bread that's glazed with cinnamon goodness-- idk if it's the pull-apart or monkey bread. And for the dessert, they serve homemade gelato fresh from Papa Diddi's! Gotta love their Tres Leches.
The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy, the staffs are attentive to our requests too. Though in their Al Fresco area around 5pm onwards, it might get a little.... they need candle lights. Hehe.
The location is kinda hard to find (if you're not a MM daily commuter/explorer like me) since I took three jeeps and 1 MRT ride just to get here (from Makati). Even though there are other transpo options, I picked the cheapest ones so... feel free to judge. Lol.
Community Kitchen in the Libis area has amazing sourdough-crust pizzas!
Go for the Seafood Pizza, White Clam Pizza and the Capricciosa 🍕
The crust has that chewy crusty texture that I ♥️💛💚!

We ordered the corn chowder, pizza and vongole and everything was delicious! Worth all the carbs and the trip from Alabang! Will definitely go back.
Comfort food done right! Everything is just delicious, plus they serve great wine too. The place is a nice quiet hangout for families and friends who love to chitchat over great tasting food.
Have you ever uttered the phrase, ‘It’s so good, it’s bad?’ This is what I shared to the group today after having so much of The Community Kitchen’s freshly baked bread, pizza, and bowls of pasta. It was an overwhelming feast of excellent carbs!
If you’re visiting here for the first time, I highly recommend ordering any of this bakery’s bread first as a starter. Everything is made with utmost detail, producing only quality items. I’m sure you’ll even bring some home.
Must have is the Kouign Amman, a puffy and dense pastry that’s a staple in France and other parts of Europe. This cake is a round, delectable, multi-layered treat of mostly yeast, flour, butter, and caramelized sugar. It’s like a large croissant but not that flaky.
I also loved this place’s version of Monkey Bread, a texturized and grainy loaf filled with fragrant cinnamon and brown sugar. It reminded me of raisin bread, only so much better!
The Community Kitchen served us Sourdough as well made from scratch; it is a side in the pasta and the crust of their savory pizzas. They cultivate their own yeast here with proper monitoring, enabling the bread to find its optimum chewy texture.
On pasta, my top picks were the meaty Beef Shank Ragu and Scampi with its lovely combination of firm noodles, shrimp, white wine, garlic and hints of salty anchovies.
The pizzas were all excellent. We had three kinds that were all distinctly special- Capricciosa (ham, artichoke, mushrooms, topped with a sunny side up egg), Seafood (prawns, tuna, snapper, capers, olive tapenade) and our favorite, the no tomato sauce, White Clam (clams, arugula, white wine sauce).
For dessert, they partnered with artisanal ice cream brand, Papa Diddi’s. I loved my addicting scoops of Tsokolate and bittersweet, Dark Espresso.
I got a bit confused about locating this cafe and restaurant. I suggest using Waze to detect them. They are located in between Jollibee and Shell Station in Libis, before you hit Eastwood. It’s on a small road, called Metropoli Drive.
We ordered the server's recommendation of Four Cheese Pizza and Chicken & Sausage Pasta and were fully satisfied! They're not your usual cheese pizza and meat pasta as both had unique, rich flavors.
I ordered a salad but was told that the lettuce they got didn't seem fresh so they're not serving them. I appreciate how the place is committed to using only fresh ingredients and not compromising the quality of the food 👌
Good food, cozy ambiance, welcoming staff! Ordered seafood pizza, the salmon dish, beef brisket, beef shank pasta, and chicken and sausage pasta. There was a good contrast between the crispy crust and the chewy inside of the sourdough. Their gelato was creamy, perfect for ending the meal. Would recommend serving chili infused honey with the pizza. :)
Summer is officially here and what better time for Papa Diddi’s Handcrafted Ice Cream to unveil new ice cream flavor than during the sunny season? The handcrafted, hand-packed ice cream company is introducing Summer Blooms - seven new flavors inspired by the colorful sights and sounds that greet any adventure-seeker this season.
Papa Didi’s welcomes summer with 7 new flavors at The Community Kitchen.
A smoother texture would be better for me. Flavor-wise it’s good except for the Roasted strawberry which I really didn’t appreciate. By the way they make their ice creams 100% local.
My Favorites were the Manguavo and Honey Sunflower Seeds.
🍦 Honey Sunflower Seeds; Combination of the sunflower seeds' nutty flavor and sweetness of honey
🍦 Manguavo; Mango-Guava Fusion
🍦 Squash Bloom; Squash flesh and flower and cinnamon
🍦 Roselle' Embrace; Roselle is a Hibiscus Flower popularly known as a very comforting tea drink
🍦 Blue Butterfly; Butterfly pea/Pukingan tea
🍦 White Summer Lei; Infuses sampaguita with white chocolate to create a tropical twist to otherwise, rich and creamy treat
🍦 Roasted Strawberry with Tarragon; Strawberry and Tarragon

Nothing makes me happier more than finding an off the radar restaurant. And Christmas sure came in early when I got to try The Community Kitchen. Hello, The Community Kitchen. . The insane Manila traffic usually force me to pick just one place where I could do all the things I have to do--bank errands, grocery shopping and have a good meal. It's getting rarer and rarer for me to drive out of the way just for a meal. But I usually discover a gem worth finding whenever I do. And such was the case with The Community Kitchen.
For a Chef of her caliber, it was indeed a pleasure being at the receiving end of her creative passion. This gem of a place in Eastwood is certainly a destination restaurant. One seeks the restaurant out for their beef bourguignon , sourdough pizza, beef ragu pasta, kouign amann to name a few...
This is an excellent place to meet up with friends and family for its good food and relaxing ambiance. Will definitely be back to try the other stuff in their menu!
I've lived in NYC prior to coming to the Philippines and have eaten at a lot of restaurants. I love food and am always excited to find good places to eat here.
Community Kitchen's food is incredibly delicious. The salmon was tender. The mashed potatoes were creamy but with texture. I could distinctly taste the garlic that the greens were cooked in.
The sourdough bread that is served here is one of the best that I have eaten in Manila. Unlike the dense sweet bread that can be common, this bread is more Western-like, with a nice crunchy crust (but not rock hard) and a spongy, porous middle. With the softened butter, I could eat the whole loaf! The dulce de leche gelato was tasty (homemade with carabao milk) and the red velvet cake is so good. The cake is moist with a cream cheese frosting.
The only "negatives" from our experience is that when we arrived (about 20-30 minutes after opening hours), the place was not quite ready. We did come first thing on a Sunday morning, so that might explain it. In addition, the sourdough for the pizza wasn't available so we couldn't order that. However, they are currently still in their soft opening, so hopefully issues like that will be ironed out.
All in all, if you like good food, I'd highly recommend the Community Kitchen as a place to try. It is delicious and worth it.
