Fast service, great staff. The steaks and eggs are cooked just the way I want them. Those wagyu cubes, those are pure love. Will definitely go back there.
Loved the steak which is nicely seasoned and cooked (and priced!). Would've loved if they improved on their interiors and food stocks as sometimes the sides I would like to eat are not available. Steak and wine are best savored in nicer environs. But if you like good but affordable steak below P400, Empire Steak is a good alternative.
Their ribs were okay at best. A bit bland and just a hint of barbecue sauce. Cooked just fine as well, not so tender, but not tough. Their beef was good, though. Just not the best that I will be able to find.
Solo steak - 120gms of juicy yender medium well cooked steak with rice and sauteed veggies as sides. 250php
Standard steak gyro with chips as side and garlic mayo dressing 159php is also good and served hot but it can do with less of the dressing
If you're not sensitive about an ambiance of a place and after the good and quality of food, especially steaks. Which I consider as a staple food, cause it's damn steak! I recommend the steak and they also have good side dishes to go along with it. I just hope they improve their interior and their ambiance and next time it's a 5!
Craving for affordable, we set out to try Empire Steak. It was a cool night so it was cool to sit al fresco near the sidewalk, but I couldn't imagine though by day. The steak was okay: not tough, almost tender, but at least not dry. I ordered mashed potatoes with truffle oil, but I didn't get to enjoy the truffle flavor much. It was their, but not very distinct. I'll most likely give them another chance.
Ordered the Kingkong Steak. Kindaaa disappointed because the steaks lack in flavor and mashed potato was out of stock. I mean, steaks!! Steaks should always have mashed potato sidings! Lol
Good service though, the staff are super nice. 👍 I chose mac n cheese, which i think is kraft's mac n cheese. Look at it! Haha. Potato chips came with the Kingkong Steak, good stuff. 😊
Me and cousin were looking for a place a place to eat one holiday. The resto's tarp saying as being one of the top steaks in the Metro invited us to try even if we knew that the rating was not good. The place was carinderia style. Self-service and you you have to go to the counter to order. We had steak and gyro. While waiting for the food, i observed that the floor and tables were dirty and sticky which kinda bothered me. I was thinking if they are hygienic when it comes to the food preparation. Anyways, the food arived and we had no high expectations. But in fairness the steak was really good considering the price. Very tasty, well-seasoned and tender. The gravy was satisfactory too but you can ignore it with how flavorful the steak was. As for the gyro, the ingredients are very generous but it doesnt taste authentic. Overall i would still recommend it for their excellent and affordable steak.
We were looking for a place to eat and we spotted Empire Steak while other restos were closed since its a holiday...
I got scared that the average score of Empire Steak was 2.0 though there were reviews that it was good...
I ordered The solo steak while my cousin ordered the Beef Gyro with Cheese... I'd say overall the Steak is amazing!!! Its very tasty... I had it on medium rare... And it was just perfect... I usually want my steak with lots and lots of gravy ... But this one can be eaten without!! Yep! Thats how tasty it was... I would love to come back specially if I am craving for steak... Im not a fan of Gyro so I would know if it was good but I'd say that they were generous with the toppings, even with the beef ... So I'd say its a good deal too!!
The only problem... Is that like most of the resto in Maginhawa... They dont have a parking lot and they have a limited space...

We celebrated my friend's birthday here, not expecting anything special from the Empire Steak since the place is small and it's like a to go place for fast served steak.
We were surprised that the crew took out a big scoop of vanilla ice cream with a birthday candle and they even played a birthday song.
The staff are cool and friendly.
Their serving of steak looks small but it's really tasty and heavy. Rice can be upgraded to mashed potatos, pomodoro, carbonara and pesto pasta. Vegetables side dish is well seasoned and crunchy. Their meal is best served with a root beer float. And the price is really affordable.

Empire Steak comes across as a place built out of creativity and the love for good food. It is actually a tight 12-14 seater, NYC (New York City) - inspired steak joint on an obscure side street in Teacher's Village.
It may be small, but the flavors are BIG.
We each had the P199 Rib-Eye Steak and it was excellent bang for the buck. The meat was tender, succulent and had good portion size. As indicated in an in-store sign, medium rare is best and it certainly kept the juices intact. I recommend having the gravy, instead of the bbq sauce as the latter tends to overpower the natural beef flavor of the steak.
Served on the side were freshly sauteed vegetable in onion and garlic. It was prepared well and it works for my taste buds, but some people might find the stir -fried vegetables (chinese -cabbage) more as an Asian side dish. It might take something away from the NYC "Empire" theme.
However, the 50's Big Band and 60's Swing music will definitely bring you back to the City of Dreams.
All in all, this resto serves good steak at very reasonable prices. Just like NYC, and with minor tweaks, opportunities for Empire Steak can be endless.
