Worth the wait ang palabok. Thumbs up for the good service.
Sarap ng lugaw! Parang congee! Love the Palabok. 😍
I love the Sinigang na baka! The taste was great and the sourness is what I like. The vegetables and meat were portioned right. I would go back for more 😊 Not to mention, the staff are nice.
This has the best Pancit Palabok I’ve ever tasted. The one with fine noodles is the Pancit Pino. And the servers are all so friendly including the guard who assists in finding a parking space.
Leoning’s is known for their Palabok but this time around, we opted to order their Miki Canton instead since we’ll be bringing it to Rizal. Their Palabok is usually good for around 5 hours as we were advised so to be safe we got the Miki Canton.
It was a pleasant surprise that their Miki Canton was also topped with lots of shrimps and egg similar to their Palabok. It was very good. A bilao good for 10 pax is around P700+ but they don’t scrimp on the toppings so it was ok.
Value for money is really something that Leoning's can guarantee. This is place to go if you are craving for that "Lutong Bahay". From meryenda to full meals to pasalubongs, they have it here. Filipino breakfast is also available all day long.
For my main meal, most of the time I go by my favorite crispy pork binagoongan. Their sapin sapin is my choice for dessert.
This place is my convenient stop over for meal. It saves me a lot of time. I go eat while my car is being washed in the carwash shop beside this restaurant. This is on my way to work/home. I always take out a little something to share the love.
Leoning's is part of my childhood. Their palaboks are the BEST! And I thought they only sell palaboks until we decided to dine-in in this specific branch. My Mom recommend to me BEEFSTEAK TAGALOG and it was heaven! If you're a fan of "lutong bahay" well this is one of the best place to go.
we used to eat here everytime we go to sm north. The ambiance is really homy. The food never changed (tho some has a really small servings) One of the best restos in the city. You have to try it most esp. their okoy. Thanking you never tried to tear down your business due to competitors. Id always love your food! 😚 This is a resto for a whole family. Home-cooked filipino dishes in your table!
Leoning's in Project 8 is a great place to take the family to when you feel like enjoying home-cooked meals without doing the actual cooking. Pretty much everything I've ever ordered there has exceeded my expectations, but let me highlight some of my favorite dishes to order.
Their house specialties are their noodle dishes, and my all-time favorite is the pino palabok. It's seasoned well and topped with enough meat, egg, and veggies to go around. Pair it with their house puto for the perfect merienda.
One of my biggest peeves is sinigang that's not sour enough, but I've never had any complaints of that nature with Leoning's sinigangs (pork, beef, or seafood, but especially pork). Any type of sinigang you order, you get the right amount of sourness.
The fried chicken is simple but really, really good. Cooked well but not at all dry, the skin is crisp and the meat tender. Each chicken meal comes with two pieces and, while not enormous, are enough to get you hooked.
The lechon kawali is also cooked to crispy, crunchy perfection. Can't get enough of it.
We've been going there for years, and the servers as well as the doorman are very nice, polite, and accommodating.
Parking's a bit of an issue; there are only about 4 in front of the restaurant, I think. Also, the wait is a bit long because their food's cooked to order, but the flavors are worth it.
