I guess even if they're new in the business, i would say that the food is really great, also the way they treat their customers. I just love the apple pie and i'm thinking of going back by next week!!!
Who said Italian cuisine had to be expensive? Definitely the best Italian restaurant in the area!
Went there for late lunch to meet up with a former student. Portions and flavor were spot on. Service and ambiance were excellent. We just had such a good time, before we knew it, it was almost 4:30PM.

I've been there twice, I love the food, good service.
This is my new favorite lunch spot! Our office opened nearby, and having this one block away is amazing! I’m planning on coming back with my family. The ambiance is laid-back, the food is straightforward, and the staff are nice. ☺️ Also, St. Pio chapel is my favorite chapel! Always so peaceful. ❤️
Had lunch here a few days back after a meeting in Libis. Hidden near the church in Libis, I was invited by a friend to have lunch. I ordered the Bacon Gnocchi and Salmon Wellington. Price-wise, its very affordable when compared to other Italian restaurants. The salmon wellington was nice and flaky while I didnt like the gnocchi much. Will probably be back to try out their other items!
I ordered Foccaccia with garlic confit which i finished before being able to take a photo hehehe!and Florentine Fish Fillet
Full meal and nakakabusog talaga
Will definitely go back
Cucina di Francesco is a bustling moderately-priced Italian restaurant that’s a nice spot especially for families after visiting the chapel or for people working in Libis. If you’ve had your fair share of Italian food in other restaurants, then the dishes here wouldn’t be something that will particularly “wow” you, but they’re pretty decent. Must orders are pasta and pizza, of course. For occasions that require large groups, this place would be an absolute delight. Ask to be seated on the second or third floor (private function areas) and call ahead to easily snag and secure your reservation.
Toasted Ravioli (PhP 165) was an easy choice to begin with. It’s pan-toasted spinach ravioli drizzled with marinara sauce, a great appetizer.
Next up, the Breakfast Pizza (PhP 360) was delicious and simple without having too many elements of complexity. Specially made bacon, ham, eggs, mozzarella, and marinara formed a great interplay of flavors with the crusty bread.
Another pizza we tried that’s new on their menu was the Tre Formaggi Pizza (PhP 350). It’s your usual four-cheese pizza made with mozzarella, emmenthal, blue cheese, and bechamel and it didn’t disappoint. If you love cheese, get this.
It was time now for the main attraction: Frutti di Mare (PhP 330). This pasta dish is one of the must-orders when dining in Cucina di Francesco. The pasta game is strong and I love the combined seafood flavors. Shrimp, clams, and anchovies provided a great salty overtone that’s then punctuated with sun-dried tomatoes in garlic butter and olive oil. It was very good indeed.
Porchetta (PhP 780) is another bestseller and sure enough, the 14-hour roasted pork belly was lovely and extra aromatic. The porchetta was rich and crisp and it looked like a perfect centerpiece for a special-occasional meal. Brimming with porky sapor, it was topped with garlic confit and was served with olive-fig tapenade, balsamic vinaigrette, and au jus gravy. The taste of the pork belly alone was on point even without these various condiments. The wonderfully crunchy, salty skin satisfies your basest cravings.

When you think about food places in the Libis area, chances are this Italian restaurant hidden away from the busier sections of the metro has escaped your notice. Cucina di Francesco got its name from the name Francesco Forgione, the name that Saint Pio of Petrelcina, more affectionately known to devotees as Padre Pio, was born with.
This place is amazing! Sample their pizzas, esp. the Tre Formaggi and immerse yourself in some of the best cheesy goodness. Puttanesca Pasta a little stale on some parts. Porchetta and Rosemary Chicken taste 10x better with their gravy!
Cucina de Francesco is a restaurant beside St. Padre Pio Chapel in Libis, Quezon City (beside Eastwood City). At first, I thought that it is part of the chapel, or a parish office, not knowing that's the restaurant already. As a Filipino, after a mass, the families usually go to a nearby restaurant where they can dine together. In this area, Cucina de Francesco is a perfect restaurant to dine and visit. They serve inexpensive Italian cuisines.
The ambiance is homey. It's a three-story cafe. The third floor can be an area for private occasions, special events, etc. On the first floor, you'll see the wide display of pastries they made. On the stairwell, you'll see the designs painted by some of the UP Diliman Fine Arts students.
It's good to know from the owner Mary Rose that all their ingredients were made from scratch. Aside from that, they train and employ young adults with special needs as their primary advocacy.
She introduced us the restaurant's FaMEALy Treats promo which is P3,000.00 good for 10 persons. The said promo includes:
1 Whole Rosemary Roast Chicken
10 pieces Toasted Ravioli
1 Platter Pasta Vongole
1 Breakfast Pizza
1 Tre-Formaggi Pizza
2 carafes Lemongrass Calamansi Iced Tea.
My favorites on this set would be the:
Toasted Ravioli - has a rich pesto taste inside it.
Tre-formaggi pizza - cheesy all the way.
Rosemary Roast Chicken
They also served Slow-roasted Porchetta - has that crispy skin that's enjoyable to eat every bite. Serving size is big. The Italian sausage is a good appetizer as well.
The serving size of the platter, porchetta, and chicken is big.
For a sweet ending, we had Choco Mousse, Creme Brulee, another one (I forgot the name), though I find it too sweet for my liking. Anyway, I'll go back here to try other dishes. It is definitely recommended
Italian Restaurants are a dime a dozen. But a handful can actually claim to be genuine. And Cucina di Francesco, in my opinion, is authentic. Period.
I won't be able to forgive myself if I don't mention the restaurant's star (again, in my opinion), the deliciously fatty and moist, slow-roasted Porchetta. It's tender, flavorful and not to mention, sinful. Another dish that I really loved was the Toasted Ravioli with its tart sauce. And I will not forget the Rosemary Chicken with the olive oil and garlic aromatically inviting me consumed it with Pasta Vongole.
What's another good thing about Cucina di Francesco is that they offer affordable promos like their FAMEALY Treat! For 3,000 (for 10 people), your group can enjoy one whole Rosemary Chicken, Toasted Ravioli, Pasta Vongole, Breakfast Pizza, Formaggi Pizza and two carafes of Lemongrass and Calamansi Ice Tea.
You can also try their Aperitivo Set Menu at P1,399 that can serve five person with four cocktail choices (P400 each): White Sangria, Mango Tango, Mojito, Red Sangria.
My Cucina di Francesco experience is something I would do again and again. Food is good and service, pleasant and attentive. My mom would will definitely love it here.
NEW RESTO FIND ALERT!
Last October 12 per the invite of Zomato, I found myself with other selected foodies in a gem of a place in Libis of all places.
I got lost the first time I went there. I had to go thru Eastwood Libis , Calle Industriya then E.Rodriguez Jr. Ave again careful not to miss the restaurant a second time...
CUCINA DI FRANCESCO
Beside St. Pio Chapel
This restaurant really has a lot of history in it, a lot of work have been done, collaborations and just about the good things.
Cucina di Francesco could be found before entering St. Pio Chapel, this is a nice spot specially for families after visiting the chapel.
They serve Italian food which I could describe as comfort foods. Usual taste but knowing how it is done and where the ingredients came from would give you a sense of love.
The warmth given to us by Ms. Mary Rose (did I remember it right?) was so homey we never would want to go haha...
Everything here tastes so good, quality food it is! You would know that they have used the quality ingredients and products to make those scrumptouos dishes nourish not only your body but also your soul. :)
The best part are the Sangrias! A must try!
And oh do not forget my favorite, their HOT SAUCES! hahah
So if ever you'd come by St. Pio Chapel, visit them too.
#pauoierecommends
This quiet, cheerful restaurant in the Padro Pio Shrine complex in Libis serves Italian-style dishes with flavours I'm familiar with and love.
Disclaimer: This review is sponsored by Cucina di Francesco. However, our opinion, decision, and review method will not change. If you're a fan of Italian cuisine with a Pinoy touch then this is the right place for you. Cucina di Francesco is a three-story restaurant beside the famous St. Pio of Pietrelcina Chapel in Libis, Quezon City, it's not hard to miss.
Tucked in the same compound as the Chapel of St. Pio is a "dining treasure" called Cucina di Francesco.
Named after the St. Pio's given name, Francesco, this Cucina serves up homey Italian dishes with ingredients that are locally sourced, from their burrata cheese to their Palawan honey and robusta coffee beans.
This place is great for families especially for their Sunday dinner after church. Parking is easy. You could even have events in the 3rd floor for a very reasonable consumable charge, Php4500 on weekdays and Php9000 on weekends.
We got to try their set menu for 10 people for Php3,000. The sharing FaMEALy treats includes 1 whole Rosemary Roast Chicken, Toasted Ravioli, 1 platter of Pasta Vongole (clams), Breakfast Pizza, Tre Formaggi Pizza (great with the Palawan honey) and 2 carafes Lemongrass Calamansi Iced Tea. Great Value!!!
You could also get the porchetta and the Pasta Aglio Olio with Roasted Vegetables.
Another great deal is their Aperitivo set menu. We got to try their Burrata in Garlic Pomodoro, Italian Sausages, Ciabatta Bread, Grisssini (bread sticks) with garlic olive oil and balsamic vinegar dips, and 1 bottle of cocktail (choose from White Sangria, Red Sangria, Mojito and, my fave, Mango Tango).
Highly recommended!
I will definitely bring my whole family here

A hidden gem awaits you here at Cucina Di Francesco. Tucked in the compound of Padre Pio Church in Libis, this hidden gem offers you feel good Italian dishes.
The Interior and the ambience has a very homey feels. Simple, well lighted resto with some wall artsy murals which was painted by UP Fine Arts students.
Cucina di Francesco has 3 floors, the uppermost floor is mostly used for events.
I was also deeply moved knowing that the owner, Ms. Mary Rose employs people with special needs. It’s a great way to help them feel productive and that they are also part of the society.
We sampled some of the dishes from their ‘FaMealy Treats’ which is good for 10 people.
For appetiser, we had the Burrata in Garlic Pomodoro with Italian Sausages.
The Pomodoro sauce has a lot of flavors.
Sweet, rich sauce topped with Burrata that’s a perfect pair with their smokey sausages.
Toasted Ravioli. Crunchy, deep-fried ravioli in Marinara Sauce.
Pasta Vongole. Spaghetti pasta in olive oil with mixed seafoods.
Breakfast Pizza. Mozzarella cheese topped with bacon, ham and poached eggs.
Tre Formaggi Pizza. Made of three cheeses, Mozzarella, Emmental and Bleu cheese. Drizzle some honey on it and it will be perfect!
Porchetta. Very flavorful, crunchy, tender pork with roasted garlic and sweet potatoes.
Rosemary Roast Chicken. Simple but has rich roast flavor.
For dessert, we had the Cheese Cake, Creme Brûlée and Chocolate Mousse.
Aside from those, Cucine Di Francesco also serves robusta coffees, breads and pastries.
Overall, Cucina Di Francesco will make you feel relaxed while enjoying their good food.
I visited this restaurant twice. I like the service and well, they serve delicious yet affordable food.
The first visit I had adobo pandesal and iced mocha flat white coffee for an afternoon snack. The adobo filling was tasty, and the bread soft and warm. The iced mocha flat white coffee was great and served generously in a tall glass.
The second visit was to celebrate my niece's birthday. We had the Meatball Spaghetti, Aglio Olio
Pasta, Pasta Pescatore, Osso Buco, whole Honey Butter Chicken and Margherita Pizza.
My favorite hands down is the Osso Buco. Tender beef and the meat is almost falling off the bone in a well seasoned tomato/wine broth. The dish is a bit pricier than the other dishes they serve but hey, the taste doesn't disappoint so it deserves a special mention.
The pasta dishes were reminiscent of its Italian origin, staying true to the classic Italian recipes - just a handful of key ingredients but deliciously authentic. Same goes for the margherita pizza - simple yet splendid.
We had vanilla ice cream for dessert and it was just regular vanilla ice cream.
This is my 4th visit to this Italian restaurant. Every time I go to the St. Pio Chapel to pray, I have breakfast or lunch here. And whenever I have our car serviced at Honda which is a few meters away, I drop by for coffee and pasty.
I love the way meals are cooked, and love also the long black coffee. Today, August 11 I had my lunch of Salmon Wellington one of their ‘new tastes’. I am impressed: salmon fillet and creamy spinach wrapped in crispy pastry is a delight! And the rucola salad was just right, lemon-garlic dressing topped with cheese 😌😋.
The staff are also nice and accommodating.
We had dinner here this evening and everything was perfect, real Italian food in Manila. Reasonably priced cozy atmosphere.
Tasty pizza, zesty Italian beef stew and must have spaghetti bolognese served with the best focaccia bread I’ve had in years. We will be back.
Cucina di Francesco is the first restaurant that comes to my mind after attending Mass at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Chapel in Libis. (Padre Pio Chapel has become one of my favorite go-to places. A perfect place for serenity, solace, reflections, and prayers.)
Whenever me and family/relatives go to this restaurant we usually have Merienda. Coffee/Tea paired with their available freshly baked breads. (I like the chocolate croissant)I brought Accel here for an early dinner before we went to Church. We had the ff
Pesto Pasta (220)
Margherita Pizza (195)Roasted Veggie Salad (160)
Spinach and Mushroom Stromboli (90)Price: Reasonable when correlated with QualityQuality of Food: Fresh and DelicousService: Friendly and Attentive Crew
Ambiance: Nice place (Minor detail, kindly fix the dripping air conditioner by the window)
Other than that, Say no more. Would definitely come back before or after Mass.Got a whole lot of Menu to try and explore. :)
Cincin!
Wherever there's pasta, I'm bound to be there somewhere. This is especially true for Cucina di Francesco, as they're just outside my neighborhood, Eastwood City. In fact, it is just a few minutes away from my work place.
Being a fan of Italian food, it was really easy for me to like it here. The place prides itself in employing differently-abled individuals, which doesn't only show the restaurant owners' values, but also add to the pleasantness of every meal, knowing that you get to make a positive contribution to these individuals' successes.
We were served a variety of rice meals, pizzas, pastas, and desserts. The dishes that stood out were:
Tre Formaggi (P350) - OMG, this has everything that makes a cheese pizza right. They suggested we add honey and their special chili oil to bring out the flavor of the cheeses and it did.
Porchetta (P780) - Oh meat! Slow-cooked pork belly with three different dips: olive-fig tapenade, au jus gravy, and balsamic vinaigrette--this was perfect. :)
Shrimp Diablo (P295) - I liked their pasta dishes because they're both tasty and affordable, but I got to try the best one on my second visit (Yes, I went back after a week.) If you like some spice on your Italian food, this one is for you.
Chocolate Mousse (P235) - Desserts always make it to my list and this decadent chocolate goodness ranks high.
Overall, Cucina di Francesco is a must-try for Padre de Pio churchgoers and an excellent alternative to your usual Eastwood City restaurants. It's also noteworthy that they make most of their dishes from scratch, which means that when you dine here, you get a nice break from unhealthy, processed food.
I’ve an insanely, musically gifted brother who is autistic and he would feel right at home at Cucina di Francesco at the Padre Pio church compound at Libis. Many of the staff are special like him and they are treated like productive members of society. (My brother has a nice side gig as a wedding and funeral singer - though he hates funerals. He has become the musical director at our hometown’s church.) The owner, Ms. Mary Rose Peña and Chef Waya Araos-Wijangco advocate better understanding of our differently-abled brethren and practice what they preach.
Aside from the special staff and great service, Cucina di Francesco has insanely good food. Their Osso Buco (P680), slow-cooked for hours, is tender and flavorful - the meat on the shank just falls off the bone; and the blend of carrots, onion, celery and wine makes this very rich dish so delightful. And the Porchetta (P780) - slow-roated pork belly with spices with three sauces: olive-fig tapenade, balsamic vinaigrette and au jus gravy - is the perfectly tender on the inside and all crispy skin on the outside. The carnivore in me was so happy with this dish.
But before starting anything, it’s good for you to start on their Roasted Veggie Salad (P160), drizzled with balsamic dressing (balsamic and olive oil). No Italian restaurant doesn’t have pasta in their menu. Those wanting a mild, full taste should try the Frutti di Mare (P330) with fresh garlic-buttered clams, shrimp, anchovies, sundried tomatoes and some chilli flakes in olive oil. You should also try out their fresh Pesto Pasta (P220), with firm noodles, pesto sauce and topped roasted chicken. For those who love tomato sauce-based pasta will love their Meatball Spaghetti (P290) with juicy, slow-cooked meatballs. Kids will love this too. (It is Italian so it will be tart and savory, not sweet.
Cucina di Francesco’s Tre Formaggi Pizza (P350) is on point too. Bleu cheese, emmental and mozzarella on a thin crust should feel too much but this one doesn’t. It’s balanced really well.
Their Breakfast Pizza (P360) is just as tasty. This one is made from tomato sauce, cheese, ham and egg. And since experts state that having pizza for breakfast is healthy, so this is good for you.
Cucina also has really good dessert and for this visit, we had delicious Apple Pie a la Mode (P145) and Chocolate Mousse (P235). These were creamy and just the right sweetness. Cucina di Francesco is popular with the regular churchgoers of Padre Pio church in Libis. You need to drop by and try out their incredible food.
Update: I treated my family to lunch here on my birthday and my niece (she's 2 years old) loved the food. Everybody did but since she probably takes after her tita's tastebuds, it's her opinion that counts the most. She went gaga over the heart-shaped pastries.
Employing people like Paolo and Ibarra, Cucina di Francesco shows that individuals with special needs can be productive members of society. In fact, their focus and level of attention to detail is impressive, making them prime employees. Restaurateur Mary Rose Peña firmly believes in giving hope to people with disability, much like its namesake: Padre Pio Church. [Read More]
I'm not a huge fan of Italian cuisine, but I instantly became a fan of Cucina di Francesco. The delicious twist that they came up with just works, without losing the original flavors of the dish or making it overwhelming. Dine with family or friends, as Cucina di Francesco wouldn't disappoint.
Foodie Faves:
Lasagna Fritti, P225 - Forget your typical lasagna and dig in to this crunchy, melt in your mouth yummers. Kids are sure to love it, too.
Tre Formaggi, P350 - Hands down delicious! What I really liked about Cucina di Francesco is that you can finish the entire plate without getting "umay". I think I can finish this pizza in one sitting.
Chocolate Mousse, P235 - Choco mousse is my fave dessert, so my taste is quite discriminating when it comes to it. And yes, this resto is on my list for one of the best chocolate mousse in the metro.
Match good food with a pretty ambiance and great service -- that's what Cucina di Francesco is for Marikina Foodies. But don't take my word for it, swing by anytime soon!
When we went here, it gave me the nostalgic feeling wayback when i used to dine at Amici in Makati. The experience here was something new and the ambience is way much better than Amici. My partner and I ordered puttanesca , cappuccino and roasted chicken sandwich and we love the simplicty of the food presentation yet the taste was delicious. Vegetables used on the sandwich was fresh and crisp while the pasta noodles was al dente and the sauce was something new to the palate. I encourge everyone to try dining at Cucina de Francesco, it is something that will keep you coming back for more :)
We usually proceed to Eastwood after going to St. Pio Chapel. But because we had a full schedule that day (and we also wanted to save on parking fees, haha), my husband and I decided to just grab lunch at the nearest possible restaurant – Cucina di Francesco! We’ve seen this restaurant during our previous visits, but we never really felt the urge to give it a try. But, oh boy! I was so glad that we finally did!!!
My daughter’s birthday fell on a Tuesday so it’s probably why the restaurant was quite relaxed when we had our lunch. There were available seats on the first level that’s why I didn’t get the chance to check out the rest of the restaurant. I loved the simple interiors of Cucina di Francesco. I honestly don’t know why, but for me, the white brick wall shown in the photo above was so refreshing to look at!
If Italian food ranks high in your list, here’s another place to justify why you love it. Cucina di Francesco is a three-floor restaurant in a hidden part of Libis. It also offers decent home cooked style Filipino dishes.
If you know Petron before you traverse Eastwood City, this one is located at the back area, fronting St. Pio Church. It was my first time to visit and it was quite a discovery.
Owner, Ms. Maryrose Pena used to be just a bread connoisseur and entrepreneur. She supplied to hotels, restaurants and other food establishments. Years of expertise eventually opened doors, and last September 2016 was the start of another career. This restaurant’s name came from the late Francesco Forgione or commonly called St. Pio of Pietrelcina. Her relationship with her church also played a major role in this milestone.
The partnership with Chef Waya Araos-Wijangco, principal of Open Hand School, a vocational school for individuals with special needs, also paved way for this establishment to employ those who have autism. As I dined here, I was able to meet one of them.
Despite its challenging location given that it is placed inside a compound, I am glad I said yes to this last minute invitation. As you enter, the ambiance impresses, with every corner filled with pleasing designs of either tiles or murals done by fine arts students. The place is also well lighted and ventilated. On its upmost floor, one could also rent it for special functions.
Food came before I did, so I rushed in the photos so I could indulge quickly. I was able to go for Bacon Gnocchi (Php 185) first, a cheesy and smoky appetizer. The huge pieces of potato ‘dumplings’ were cooked just the way it should. Then we had (together with other media friends), Arancini Di Riso, risotto balls with loads of mozzarella cheese with rich marinara sauce.
For the night’s dish highlight, we got the pleasure of having their own masterpiece of Porchetta. This was accompanied with rice and three sauces or dips, olive-fig tapenade, balsamic vinaigrette and au jus gravy. This succulent boneless, herb-stuffed, fork-tender, encrusted in crackling skin was indeed a show stealer. The slow-roasting for 40 minutes of this baby was worth the wait.
Of course, Italian feast won’t be complete without some pasta. Salmone Con Pasta Verde is highly recommended for just Php 305. It is a sophisticated al dente spinach tagliatelle topped with well cooked pan fried salmon in white wine cream sauce. We also had their classic take on Puttanesca. I love that this was a huge order for just Php 170. I love capers and olives, which they put a lot of.
To top all these were two mouth-watering desserts, Creme Brulee Ricotta Cheesecake - a thick, custardy cheesecake with a nice crust (Php 250) and the Torta Di Cioccolato -a decadent chocolate cake topped with ice cream and strawberry and caramel syrup (Php 180). I’ll be honest to say I got too much more servings than the rest. I just couldn’t resist.
But wait, there’s more. As we were wrapping up our intimate and story filled dinner, Ms. Maryrose gave us even more plates to try. It was their upcoming breakfast/brunch offerings. What caught my attention here was the platter. It had bacon slab, real corned beef and pork belly, accompanied by tomato provencale with pesto. It’s a genius combination! If this won’t fill you up just yet, you can have eggs and potatoes (cooked to your hearts desire) or fried rice with bits of pork chicharon. Yum!
Sharing with friends or family members is also a great idea as they offer a “Triple Treat” that is good for 3-4 persons and is available from Fridays to Sundays. For the price of Php 950, pick one among the three sets including one carafe of iced tea.
So have I gotten you curios yet? Well this got me hungry! See you guys on my next amazing food adventure. For now this spot can be found, again at St. Pio Church Compound, 188 E. Rodriguez Jr., Avenue Libis, Quezon City.
We visited St Pio and got hungry afterwards
My mother in law ordered aglio olio and pesto pasta
It was presented very nicely
Authentic Italian cuisine I must say
Very accommodating staff
Clean and cold restaurant
Loves the marghareta pizza! I was pleasantly surprised it was about ten inches wide for only P165! Of course i wasnt able to finish it so i had the rest packed - something to look forward to for tomorrow's lunch 😀
I've only tried a few dishes here. Pasta and PIzza. All good! Vongole and Bacon Gnocchi...these are a must! They also have a set good for 3 to 4 people.
Good ambiance and food! I love it because it is within the vicinity of St Pio Chapel. Plus the background music (instrumental kind) is awesome! Keep it up!
My parents and I always make it a point to eat here whenever we visit Padre Pio. We absolutely love their Vongole Bianco Pasta and Seafood Cioppino. I am not a fan of their Adobo Pandesal because it needs more balance in terms of flavor, but I like their Rosemary Chicken and Margherita Pizza. Their Puttanesca is good, but for my mom it needs a bit more boost. I'll definitely try their Porchetta if it becomes available again. Its exterior reminds me of Cebu lechon...yum!
If you visit this restaurant, make sure to not just try their breads but do pick up the menu and dine there. Don't be afraid to ask for recommendations! Visit them on a weekend to taste their seafood offerings.
Disclaimer: I am in no way related to the owners and staff. This is not a paid review.
We had a fine dining experience here! We love the menu, ambiance, music and the staff are attentive too! I will surely recommend this place!
Cucina di Francesco is a homey oasis in the middle of the bustling Libis area. It offers a cozy nook, just a stone's throw away from the Padre Pio Chapel and nearby Eastwood. I enjoyed the modern renditions of classic Italian dishes, such as the Hearty Italian Beef Stew with its fork-tender slow-braised beef in tomato wine sauce with potato gnocchi. There are a lot of other equally tempting dishes to choose from. The interiors are a delightful IG-worthy backdrop, with frescoes done by UP Fine Arts students to capture a little bit of Italy while you are dining on satisfying comfort food. Don't forget to take home some freshly baked bread on your way out. Always worth a visit for some coffee with light snacks and desserts to full savoury meals.
Cucina di Francesco is a community cafe where I feel comfortable to eat alone or with family and friends. Menu is well thought out and service is excellent. For the quality of ingredients they use, the prices are not expensive. A big plus is their initiative to give employment to the differently-abled.
A nice quiet place to go to after mass, although I went there after going to bank nearby. I had the fish with chesse sauce for lunch, and panna cotta for desser. I didn't like the taste of lunch, nothing special. But the panna cotta was very good. I'd go back for the desserts.
