Nice place for some quiet time. Food and coffee was a bit pricey. Music was okay, too. They have a lot of books you can read and they have this box with free books where you can get a book to take home with you.

As a QC Newbie, I’m on the constant search for after-work spots to hang out in while waiting for ze wifey. Was randomly searching cafes in Morato area and Tweedle appeared on the top searches. Instantly fell in love when I saw reviews of the place and the food. We tried Cheeseburgerballs Pasta and Hangover 3. WE LOVED THE HANGOVER 3. The meat, kimchi, brown rice and egg all went perfectly together. The pasta lacked salt. But if you are okay with red spaghetti as it is, this is neither sweet nor sour. Highly recommend the place if you want to get away from the Starbucks crowd 👍🏼 Again, books, books, books!!!! They were also selling cute stickers.

I have tried Wagyu bacon cheese burger and truffle cheese burger for zomato gold 1+1 food and so far they are one of the most flavorful burgers I had ever eaten. I definitely recommend them if you want a taste of heaven!

Although if you are looking for a quarter pounder size of a burger, this is not the place for you. The truffle cheese burger is also quite expensive for a regular size burger, but it’s WAGYU so...

This is a hole in the wall cafè found along a residential road. Parking is limited but you can always opt for street parking.

Their coffee is divine. One sip and I know I found another great coffee shop to spend time alone or with friends. They also offer rice meals, which I have yet to try.

We had the Duck Burger and the Wagyu Bacon Cheese. Both came with onion rings. The burgers were good — the pineapple jam went well with the sunny side up egg in the duck burger (strange bedfellows but came out delightful); the wagyu bacon was nice. Onion rings wasn’t as good though. It would have been expensive had it not been for the gold promo. So thank you to zomato gold for that.

The place is great. Ample outlets for those who want to charge laptops. Place is quiet and great for reading and studying. More affordable fare would have made it better.

I love this place! We ordered the wagyu burger, and it didn't disappoint. Plus the carrot cake was heavenly good. The place was quiet, perfect place to go on a date. Will definitely go back here.

The place was really nice and Instagrammable. They were also selling stickers made by local artists which is nice. They had a lot of books you can borrow and read while inside the cafe. Saw a lot of YA and children's books so it's good if you want to hang and have zome kids with you. It will keep them busy. It was hard to park find a parking spot though, better to have someone drop you off instead.
The staff were nice, pleasant and attentive. We ordered Sans Rival and Matcha Lava cake and tried their Hot Choco infused with Hibiscus and Orange. Their Sans Rival was just okay, not too sweet but also not so special. The Matcha Lava was good, but too sweet. Choco with Hibiscus tasted and smelled good but the Choco with Orange was a disappointment. I didn't taste a single bit of orange in it. But overall experince was nice and I would come back here again.

Was here last week for lunch on a Zomato 1+1 food promo. It's the first time I'm describing any food place as having a 'feel good' ambiance. With the right cool dining temperature, a treasure trove of books, fine food and feel good Disney/Hollywood soundtrack, one can feel relaxed and actually destress for a while. I loved Hangover which tasted much like Beef Bulgogi. And my friends liked their Pinakurat Pork and Chocolate Beef as well. Though I think I had the best tasting dish over the pinakurat and chocolate entrees. The wait time was just too long. And the place can do with more lighting for one to read comfortably.

We availed of the zomato gold promo during our visit here. I like the location of this place as this street in Tomas is not too narrow and has enough parking space. The place itself has a nice ambiance, quiet and not too crowded. Overall, food was good but a bit disappointed that they didn't have enough desserts to offer that night though.

What we ordered:
Ugly duckling - The whole dish was a bit dry and bland.

Hangover 3 - really loved this dish. The combination of the beef, kimchi and egg was good. Beef itself tasted delicious.

Pinakurat pork - also loved this rice bowl. At first, it looked like the pork is over seasoned with herbs but it actually tasted good. The amount of pinakurat they added was just the perfect amount.

Choco lava - the chocolate inside was too viscous but the whole thing tasted really good.

We ordered the Wagyu Bacon Cheeseburger and the Cheeseburgerballs pasta.
For the burger, the patty was a little bit dry but it tastes good because of the little spice.
The pasta is a must try! It was creamy with the right cheesy blend.

For the drinks, we ordered the Hot Mocha and the Drip Coffee. Both tasted a little bland.

So overall, the space is good for studying or working. They don’t have wifi but they do have sockets for charging.

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, Tweedle Book Cafe is certainly a surprise. It seems small from the outside but its interior is quite spacious. The first impression however was quite deceptive. Due to the exterior façade of the cafe, I thought they were closed or renovating. A new paint job and some fixing of the cement floor outside would definitely be a huge help. It is also quite difficult to spot it because of the outer walls. The interior however welcomes you into a cozy and intimate space.

We ordered their Single Origin Pourover, Iced Latte, 3 Lil Pigs, and Bacon, Egg, Garlic Cheese Sauce Hash Bites. I enjoyed the coffee. It had a complex flavor and it was not acidic. The 3 Lil Pigs were delicious. Couldn’t really differentiate among the different types of sausages though. The BEGCS Hash Bites were delicious! A bit on the pricey side but I used Zomato Gold so it wasn’t a problem.

Food: 4/5
Interior: 4.5/5
Exterior: 2.5/5
Service: 4/5

Tweedle Book Cafe serves typical coffee shop desserts such as lava cake and sansrival which I find a bit pricey considering the serving size. However, using Zomato Gold makes the price worth it. What is also interesting about this cafe are the shelves housing a wide range of books that customers may borrow and browse through while enjoying delectable desserts. The place is a bit dark but nonetheless instagrammable.

I've been a frequent customer in this place since 2015. I haven't ordered most of what's in the menu, but that's because I always stick to my favorites: Ola Sardinas (angel hair pasta with Spanish Sardines), Juan Tamad (fried rice with corned beef and spam, which I usually order with a side of kimchi), and hashbites with pepperoni and jalapeño. I also love their café latte and wide selection of craft beer (the latter being the primary reason why I go here). This place is a hidden gem in QC, and I particularly love working here cos it's quiet and the music they play is carefully picked. Parking is easy, too!

Ambience is perfect for studying... as long as most of the patrons at that time of visit are also studying haha. Since they have beers and wine also (unlimited on certain times of day) the place can get a bit noisy in the evening.

Food is really good. You know that they have expensive ingredients because their menu looks expensive too haha. Mac and truffle, duck sisig, wagyu burger. So if you're looking for a coffee shop for #tipidhits... this is not the place haha.

Parking, as expected in Tomas Morato and scout area, is hard.

The bookworm in me allows me to be happily content practically anywhere, and even all by my lonesome, so long as I have a new or my favorite tome in hand. For a cafe, this place serves good food. We ordered the Hangover 3 with extra cheese, Baby scallops in garlic butter, and Single origin pour over. The food here is a bit pricey but the dish we ordered had a generous serving and tasted good so it was worth the price. The long table is the spot that’s conducive for reading because the lighting here is better as compared to the other tables, where it’s a bit dim. Service is also good!

Looking forward to trying out their unlimited wine next time!

A very small homey place along Scout Gandia. Food was suprisingly good: Wagyu burger, Nachos and Hungarian Sausage. They have 10 peso service charge per order. They serve coffee and a lot of your not so usual alcoholic beverages. They also serve milk tea and ice cream. We loved the Nutella latte flavor.

When you’re a bibliophile and is looking for a perfect place to just “chill, have a coffee and read,” this place is for you.

Tweedle has been my “go-to” place each time my craving for “butter beer” hits me.
A perfect place for me to have a catch up dinner with my friends.

Foods are good yet a li’l bit pricey.

The place is really relaxing. It is also perfect for those who want a place to study.

Idk, but I love this place.

We visited the place for a short meeting and brainstorming. It was mid-morning and there are still few customers. The ambiance is quite simple and simple. There are bookshelves with books and have a place to relax.

We ordered a couple of dishes and We found it was very tasty and simple. The downside was the traffic within the adjacent street going to the place.

Ms. Gina Lopez held a press conference in this place few weeks ago in this place and a favorite hang-out place for celebrities. Love the salmon, definitely coming back again.

There is also an outdoor patio area good for 4 to 6 people .

FOOD
.:Iced Café Super Chocolate:.
I can't decide between having chocolate and coffe so I was happy they got this on the menu. 😊 It's not sweet, which I prefer, and the chocolate and coffee really goes well together. I thought the caffeine kick was pretty mild but I downed the last half in less than a minute and, there you go, there's the kick. Hahaha!

I'd order their Dark Chocolate next time. 😉

NOTE: I only list food I have actually tasted in this specific location. I'm pretty sure there are other items in the menu worth trying. :)

LOCATION
It's a perfect location if you want to concentrate or chill out a bit. No wifi though but there are sockets. They have a wide range of books you can borrow as well. Went here to focus on work and was pretty successful. 😅

My friend and I came here on a Friday afternoon. When we arrived, we were alone except for a few people doing some sort of shoot. People only started turning up when we have already started eating. The food was great. It's pricey but worth it, 'cause it's very filling. Coffee, though, was served in a tiny cup, definitely not worth the price. The place is amazing, especially for bookworms like me. It's how I found out about it in the first place. They have shelves in the corner, and you can borrow books any time you want. The ceiling really looks cool. There's no Wi-Fi, by the way, so you only have four options: eat, read, think, or talk.

Been a here for a few times already. I have only tried their coffee once or twice as I've most often ordered their Hot Chocolate, which is pretty good. Especially liked the Dark and Vanilla ones.  I've also just tried their Ms Margherite recently. Simple tomato and basil pasta, Thought it was pretty good and the serving size decent. Plus they have craftbeers! Which is pretty hard to get in the north. Was pretty surprised you had Turning Wheels on the shelf the last time I was there. :) The ambiance (and the location itself) is perfect for getting some work done since it's off the main road, but some comfy chairs would be great if you want to stay around longer and just relax with a book and a cup. The staff I think might need a little bit of a nudge, maybe. Generally, I like the place and might be back if I'm in the area. :))

Finally able to try tweedle, one of the hidden gems in terms of caffeeshops along Tomas morato.

This place is a little hard to find without our handy dandy Google maps since it is located in one of the side streets of Tomas morato.

I was surprised when I entered the store since the theme of their store is all wood from the tables, chairs and ceiling. They also have a bookshelf with a wide selection of books which you can borrow and read while at the store. They also have a loooooong table where friends can enjoy coffee together. They also serve food which we did not order since we were already full.

There we're plenty of employees around the time we visited. It seems like the employees overcame the customers. Haha. 😂 but mind me, they are all friendly and willing to help.

On to their coffee. I tried their hot latte. Upon serving it to us, I was a little shock on how small their glass for coffee is, not the typical big coffee mugs which we usually see. They also fill their coffee to the brim which was good despite their small glassware. Another thing that surprised me is that the coffee I ordered is NOT hot. I was wondering if I ordered warm latte or hot latte. 😅 maybe because they don't have handles for you to hold haha. The coffee was ok better than our everyday Starbucks latte but their coffee is a little mild so it won't wake you up.

My cousin and I were half full when we ate here and we were supposed to order the Steak but we wanted a lighter meal so we ordered Bacon Mac and Say Cheese,Dark TCC Chocolate drink and Chocolava. The mac n cheese was creamy and cheesy and the amount of bacon bits is just right and the bacon bits is also crispy. My cousin said that the chocolate drink was strong and bitter but still good. The Chocolava was sweet and soft and it was the right decision to order one salty and sweet food.

The ambiance is really interesting and eye-catching--the ceiling have the names of famous authors and Rizal was even included; there is also Platform 9 3/4 and a lot of books which you can borrow. The place is good for those who want to relax, read or study (although the food is a little expensive but it didn't compromise the taste/quality of the food).

A Saturday exploring Tomas Morato, which is my second time, we were headed to this cafe. Sitting along Scout Grandia you won't miss this establishment that has a 2 car parking space.

Immediately you will notice the wall clocks as you enter. Timezones of the different fictional places of your favorite book(s). This is the only cafe which has a long table better for large groups or maybe could be used for your book club events. A mini library is what I would call this place almost every wall are stacked with books from every genre you can imagine. Wifi isn't available in this place so you can disconnect from the world and have that good conversation with your companion or flip through one of their books. Definitely the interior has it's own character.

If you want to order you can just go to the counter where you will see their food and drink items. They also have a wine selection foe those who aren't caffeine oriented. My choice was the matcha drink called genmaicha latte, Hangover 1 and with fruit soda. My girlfriend got a bowl called 3 little pigs for her meal. We also had the Hash bites for sharing.

The Genmaicha latte drink was a bit different type of matcha yet still delivered with it's flavor. I could almost taste a bit of seaweed nori which definitely sets it apart from other matcha drinks in other cafes. The Hash Bites is a good food addition to that drink. I liked the crunch of the hashbrown combined with their garlic cheese sauce. For the Hangover 1 comprised of rice topped with salpicao and for some weird reason, kimchi. It had this odd combination of flavors and I ate the kimchi separate from my rice and salpicao. What made my meal complete was the strawberry fruit soda with lychee. It was a drink which transported me back to my lychee jelly ace days. I wished there was an option for more lychee for this drink cause I couldn't get enough of it. I got to try the 3 little pigs dish of my girlfriend and it's great for sharing. Sausages topped with bacon flakes a definite yummy dish.

Overall Tweedle book cafe is a place which isn't afraid to try something different to make an impression and get customers come back for more of the experience. I would definitely return for a different rice bowl and more of that strawberry fruit soda(hopefully with more lychee)

Tweedle Book Cafe is an interesting twist on the study nook that welcomes drinkers, as well as casual but upscale-oriented diners.

Communal tables, books, and an open-to-all blackboard signal its student friendliness - no doubt due to its proximity to PAREF Northfield School, across the street. It also stays open till late, and the volume of conversation remains pleasantly low even after Friday dinnertime, which is when we visited.

We ordered a simple Chardonnay to share amongst four, and a plate of sausages and onions, a common local pulutan. The latter was all right, and the wine very acceptable, both in price and flavor - a notch under P700. Beautiful stemware was used, and that's a big deal to me.

It is a discovery, this bar - I mean, book cafe. I've spotted duck on their menu; it shouldn't be hard to find a nice red wine to match when I go back.

I was enticed to visit the Tweedle Book Cafe simply because I wanted to try their Butterbeer and I also wanted to take a picture of Platform Nine and Three-Quarters (Platform 9¾). Teehee! Tweedled Butterbeer is really frothy, so don't expect it to quench your thirst. What I remembered most about it was the cinnamon (sorry, I'm not a fan). We also had Chocolate Nib Cookies, good but pricey. Kuya behind the counter suggested it, my friend said yes to it without any questions. But, they were not so good together (butterbeer and cookies). The place seemed like a small library or study room for me, so we didn't talk loudly. It's good when you just want to read a good book or review your lessons. I would still love to visit the place again and try other dishes.

I've been here a couple of times but still haven't tried a lot from the menu. I like that while it is a library cafe (great selection of reading materials!) it also has wine, craft beers and heavier entrees like steak. However, prices are a bit steep for my liking. But I'm willing to pay the price to support local industries like the local craft beers and tcc.

Tweedle Book Cafe is a small, house converted cafe that combines both the passion of the owners, library, wine, & chocolate cafe. (Source: Business card) It is tucked along Sct. Gandia with a small signage peeking from Tomas Morato. It is both a small library where people can study and at the same time chill as a wine cafe. I love the 'underground' room that houses a small bar and designed like an exclusive meeting area. Especially with a long table for 8, it looked like an underground meeting place of some avengers/x-men.

They sell good wines from McGuigan and some other vineyards from the wine regions of the world. BTW, the owner gave me a glass of Pinot Gris from Alsace that has a sweet, fruity notes of peach and mangoes.

Carrot cake was moist and studded with grated carrots that gave it the texture. It just lacks the walnuts that usually is part of the cake. The cream cheese frosting was too sweet for me and the cream cheese was light. Traditionally, confectionairs sugar is used to make the frosting, they used white sugar that gave it the rough, sandy granules that is leaving an unpleasant feel to your mouth.

Ola Sardinas was an oil based pasta tossed with Spanish sardines, garlic, and loads of parmesan cheese. The flavor was plain and simple like what is included with. The simplicity of the flavors just highlights the star of the pasta, which is the sardines.

The place is a great hangout place, especially the 'underground'.

The place just shows the passion of the couple owner and their heart to share it with everybody.

The best wine is the one we drink with friends. - Unknown Author (from the net)

The interior and vibe of the place was nice. It's perfect for people who write their report or paper. Best for chilling while reading, but not for catching up with friends..because, since it's a book cafe, silence is very important.

Though the place achieved the desired theme, the aim for serving best coffee, tea latte or even craft beers was not attained. The drinks were not outstanding. The price range for the cafe essentials was expected for the location but for the craft beers are way too expensive.

But overall, not bad. :)

I've been to this place several times already -and i never fail to be satisfied every time i've been there. This place has a really good ambience for reading, studying, anything that requires concentration. They have really good AC/DC playing all the time. The staff there are really friendly. The chairs and tables are comfortable. And for those who need their gadgets for studying rest assured they have enough outlets. However i would like them to improve some things like since it is a cafe, they should improve on the coffee - for me they should be open to more sizes like regular size or large and also the taste i think they should improve the taste of their coffee. Also it would be cool if they Added frappes on the menu. But i think that make up for it in the really good food that they serve. Their sardine pasta is just yum! =D And the second food of theirs i've tried so far - i think it's called filipino breakfast pasta is just AMAZING. Another thing i'd hope for them to improve on would be the lighting. While most of the places there are well lit, specifically the area with the long table and the outside area, i think that they should improve the lighting in the areas near the counter especially the area with the tables near the bookshelf and bathroom.
Lastly since in addition to being a cafe they are also a BOOK cafe, i think it would be good that they expand the library they have there somehow.......
Aside from all those improvements i think they should make i think this place is just awesome!
P.S.
They should expand i mean make the place bigger somehow hehe

Hidden in the depths of Scout Grandia in Tomas Morato is a quaint cafe that is filled with books and curiosities.

It is apparent that the owner of Tweedle Book Cafe has good taste, from the books that she carries (Austen to Tolkien), the comics, the coffee, pastries, wine, and whiskey. You can see that the products she sells are of really good quality.

Tweedle Book Cafe is modestly-sized; They have a long cafeteria-style table in the middle, book shelves on the side, and a wine bar in the front. The place is very cozy and the music is very soothing perfect for days when you just simply want to chill while reading/working and sip on a good cup of coffee.

My one and only complain is about their furnitures. The chairs are so uncomfortable that my friends and I decided to cut our coffee chat short because we couldn't take the torture of their super hard wooden chairs. I really hope they change that soon because I really find this place conducive to work and learning. Other than that, this is a solid place for people to imbibe, both in drinks and in knowledge.

The communal table encourages interaction which I really loved about the place besides the unique drinks they served and the books.

I was happy to see that they served a variety of flavored chocolate drink plus T.W.G. teas and you could even bring some home since they sell it there.

It's a nice place to catch up with your friends every now and then. ;)

If you want a quiet place to read and/or study while enjoying a nice cup of coffee and delicious food, this is the place to be! They have a variety of food and drink choices. They even have wines and beers. I hail this as one of the best places in Quezon City to study. It's very conducive for reading and/or studying because of its ambiance, good lighting and great music playlist.

Not only is this a cool hangout spot but it's also a place to enjoy gourmet food. If you're a big fan of duck and can't get enough of it, you should try their "Duck Duck Duck." The roasted duck is cooked perfectly and is a good accompaniment to their duck sisig and fois gras. I also tried their mac and cheese, chorizo pasta, and hot chocolate which were all good.

Late night cravings with mom and we ended up eating a wagyu kim-cheese burger at this cafe :) we loved the ambiance coz it was designed for students and for people who love reading. The burger we had was so good! The kimchi paired perfectly with the crunchy burger bun and tender wagyu with melted cheese. We ordered hot chocolate infused with salted caramel too! Everything was worth it. 300php for the burger and 160php for the hot choco :) we'll definitely go back for more :)

Loved the ambiance and the service! It is very clean, bright and welcoming. I wanted to have some alcohol yet I also wanted coffee. They didn't have Irish coffee but the barista suggested that I get 1 shot of whisky mixed in 1 shot of espresso. I tried it and it was gooooood! Try their lava cake - it's just the right serving size and has just the right fudginess to it. Next time I'll try the earl gray cake and their real food.

Parking is limited but the street isn't busy so you can park along the street.

Will definitely come back!

Appreciation for coffee is always subjective. That's the reason why some would prefer Toby's estate over Craft, or UCC black brew over Starbucks reserve blends. Others would like it black, while some insist on believing that cream, milk, or sugars brings out the best in their cup of coffee.

Of course everyone has their own preference and favorites. Mine for example is #craft. But for a true coffee lover and for someone who loves adventure, this place is just right for you. Located at the side street of the busy tomas morato, just enter gandia st from tomas going to kamuning and you will not miss this small haven. Parking though is a major concern. For those who are already used to the area, that wouldn't be a problem.

A great place for breakfast, snack, and even lunch; they have wide variations in their menu. If you're looking for breakfast and you love pasta, you may want to try the breakfast pasta with longanisa and salted egg. They likewise have great brews here but if you want to play it safe, their latte is pretty decent. They also serve wine and pies btw.

I have to admit, their coffee isnt great bit decent. The americano is a bit acidic and burned- bad shot. But overall, it's more than just their food and coffee that warrant appreciation. Their creativity, uniqueness, and the great interiors centered on books (you can read here as well) - simply makes a difference.

Got what I came here for - some peace and quiet for reading / planning ahead for the week. The yummy Chocolate Earl Grey Cake was just a bonus treat! :-) I'll definitely come back to try the rest of the menu and experience what's behind Platform 9 3/4.

I go to Tweedle Book Cafe to relax. A cup (or pot) of hot tea amidst lots of books is a great way to lighten up a bit after a tiring day. They serve good-tasting and fragrant teas, each type having the aroma of flowers and fruits. It is interesting that this store doesn't serve only coffee and tea. Wines are also available, as well as a variety of dishes such as pasta, rice meal, pies and even steak.

Loved the ambience which referenced famous novels. The wide collection of books available for reading add charm and comfort to the interior.

Their menu wouldn't overwhelm you with options but they offer quite unique food combinations guaranteed to tickle your curiosity and palate. The staff can get a bit awkward at times but are very friendly.

The thing i love about their food is, it is straightforward, resulting in rich flavors. The wagyu kimcheese burger for example, is just that; wagyu patty, kimichi, cheese, and burger bun. Result? You really taste all those ingredients in their best and it is delicious, no extra trappings needed. This also applies to their pinoy breakfast pasta, chocolate earl grey tea cake, sardine pasta and genmaicha latte. Their americano is a bit watered down but the affogato is also served with a good quality ice cream flavour of your choice.

I love how their food is different yet uncomplicated, a combination many places today can't brag about. B

Love the ambiance! The book collections are fabulous, spent several hours there reading. Their food, though, needs improvement. The taste is great, but they need to improve the serving size (especially the amount of pasta), and/or add sidings (the were no garlic bread/breadsticks beside any pasta, no side veggies on rice meals). Their coffee selection is basic, but they do have lots of tea and chocolate. Their version of butterbeer was far from a Harry Potter experience and... let's just say I've had better. I will be back though, more because of the books and ambience, and maybe the hope of improved food.

Tweedle book cafe is a nice, cozy place. They have books you can browse while waiting for your food. Speaking of waiting, this is a major item they have to work on. Our food came out in long intervals to the point of forgetting about our pasta. Good thing they have books. :)

The Salpicao is ok. Beef is tender but I prefer to taste more of the garlic. The kimchi that goes with it tastes good.

The 'lil Piggy is sad to eat. I feel they should caramelize the onions instead. It will complement the bacon bits.

The 930 steak is awesome. Perfectly grilled with spuds on the side. A bit pricey but meat quality is good.

The duck and foie gras are also awesome. It's so tender and the mild smoke flavor tastes good on the palate.

They serve Merry Moo ice cream..yehey!!

Dining staff should be trained further and must neatly tie their hair. Kitchen staff needs to perfect their cooking speed especially if there are a lot of customers. Two diners requested for a refund and orders took a long time to be served and that's just the sausage dish. Our pasta didn't arrive but they said it's just downstairs (kitchen). Will come back here if I get duck and steak cravings.

Quaint, quiet and artsy coffee shop in Scout Gandia. If you love books and classic no frills coffee - this is the place for you. The place is well lighted and has colorful interiors. They have a long table perfect for group studying and/or meetings.
When you are bored, need not to worry as they have a vast collection of books you can choose from. Also, they have a board where you can write your thoughts or draw your artworks. I believe this is erased every week so you can boast of your artwork for 1 whole week. For the food, they have great food. I loved their burger. I have several recommendations for the place though:
1. They dont have wifi.
2. They have very little selection for coffee and food. I wish they could add more.
3. If you love the sweet artsy coffee of Starbucks, this is probably not the place for you. Their coffee can be a bit too strong.
If you have a car, while they only have 2 slots for parking, this part of Tomas Morato is not congested with restos yet so you shouldn't have a hard time looking for parking.

Here's a review of my almost 6 hour stay at Tweedle

Visited this cafe in search for a perfect place to study
I arrived past 10 am and all seats were vacant except for one table outside. I stayed in the corner of their long table because the lighting there was perfect for my readings. I ordered their hot latte, espresso, and tried their ugly duckling, pinoy breakfast, strawberry basil ice cream, 3 li'l pigs, o la sardines, truffle mint hot chocolate and black tea. A lot but I had my mom with me in the morning for breakfast and i stayed for almost 6 hours studying. I also had a look around their collection of books that range from classics, self help books, comics, novels and fiction. One would surely find something interesting to read.

The place was truly comfy and perfect for those who want an escape from stress and get lost on a book or for those looking for a peaceful place to work alone. Their long table is ideal for sharing especially for laptop users because the socket is just behind on the wall. What i like about their long table is that it doesnt give you the tight feeling of sitting beside a stranger because the chairs are spaced individually perfect even if you have someone at your side, you wouldnt notice it. On the individual tables, i do suggest that they at least provide a spotlight because the corner ones near the shelf was pretty dim.

The meals I tried were fine. Pinoy breakfast was a favorite but I liked their sardines pasta more. What I think needs improvement was their coffee. I expected more from a cafe.

What was truly commendable was their mint truffle hot chocolate! It's the best I ever had and I just had to buy the TCC mint chocolate powder to take home. Too bad they're not selling take homes of the truffle.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Kudos to that.

The real downside i found in this place was the price. A small cup of latte for around 140? Too much. Their hot chocolate was great but I think it's expensive for 200+ on the truffle. Even if i wanted to order another cup, i hesitated because of the price. It just makes it worth it for one try or at least not for frequent favorites. Servings of the coffee and hot choco needed justice.

I didn't really stay long cos I was with the Mother. I had my go-to Iced Latte which was so good! I have no idea if it was the milk or the espresso shot but this is one of the best lattes I've tasted. I just wish they had it in a bigger glass. Also had the Earl Grey Chocolate Cake which was very light and not too sweet. And it was also a plus to get to meet Jamie, Jin's (of Jinlovestoeat.com) sister. I swear I will be back cos the steak is next on my list.

I kept searching for a good place of relaxation whenever I know I need some time for myself. Earlier this day, I was struggling because I really don’t know where to go on a tight budget but expensive needs. I badly need coffee, a real one. But then I also want to be on a quiet place to have a read or for “self” time. I went to the Twenty One Pilot’s concert Sunday night, and the effect of PCD(Post Concert Depression) kicks me so bad(until this day, yes) that I don’t have a clue of what I really want. So I searched and searched and searched for the perfect place. But as I was scrolling through Spot Ph, Booky, Looloo, and Coconuts Manila, I suddenly felt the urge to go somewhere quite far from where I’m from. I end up heading north.
I’ve read articles about best coffee places and one of the most common, like The Curator, Yardstick, and Toby’s Estate, is this place called Tweedle Book Cafe(TBC), and as what I know, “tweedle” is something related to music or instruments. So what came to my mind is a coffee place like Satchmi. TBC is somewhere near Tomas Morato and Timog Ave. in Quezon City. And guess what, I’ve never been there before. Never. Ever. And it was a bit far from MRT which is the only access I know going to Quezon City. According to Google Map, GMA-Kamuning MRT station is 1.2 kilometers away from TBC… That means I walked 1.2kM. That was so impressive of me. But I loved walking especially when the clouds cover enough of the sun to have a beautiful walk in a place where there’s less pollution and people, but more trees.
The place where TBC is located is a neighborhood, like nobody will ever think that there’s some kind of paradise along the street. I personally think it was a house and renovated to be a coffee place, thanks to the owners! The very first thing that caught my attention when I got myself inside is the bookshelf. It’s so lovely and the terrific urge to grab all the books is inevitable. The music inside the store made it more of a nirvana. They play a lot of alternative+indie music which is always the perfect genre partnered with coffee. The beautiful juxtaposition of books showcasing their marvelous spines excites me to an unbelievable extent that made me smile and reach for my phone to call a friend because I can’t hold the feeling inside anymore. I sat on the corner–bookshelf on my back, white wall on my side. I, then, ordered my beverage and pastry choice which are Iced Cafe Latte, and Macchiato cake. Coffee-coffee combination is the new trend… for me.
The counter is really nice. The front looks like the mini cabinets where you look for card catalogs in the library.
I grabbed Iced latte because that’s the first thing I saw and the most common orders of people who gave reviews, and it was good they said. Well, I’m not expecting much from TBC because it was not considered as a third wave coffee shop in Quezon City, but it was good enough and has reasonable price for coffee junkies.
I did not think twice for choosing Macchiato cake because the caffeine weakens the PCD effect, so I need another dose of coffee, but this time, in a cake. It was not disappointing though, kinda felt like the coffee was poured on a dough, then baked. It was not that flavorful but it’s surely smooth, and creamy.
Before, during and after my snack, I explore the bookshelf to find more books because the library-like vibe of the place consoled my inner spirit. What I also love about the store is there are new books like, Stupid is Forever-More, Wonder, Why We Broke Up, and stuff. There’s also a complete set of The Twilight Saga, A Series of Unfortunate Events, and Sophie Kinsella. I wasn’t sure about the set of Harry Potter and 50 Shades of Grey because I only saw a book of each, but maybe it was just misplaced or something.
Service isn’t bad and rest room is clean, which most restaurants fail to have. I do hope they maintain the service, cleanliness, serenity, and light atmosphere of their coffee place because those factors start to get rare in most rising business.
Did I already mention the platform 9 3/4? I thought of bumping the wall, but I realize I’m already 17 and I haven’t received a single letter from Hogwarts, so maybe I should accept that I’m a Muggleblood and should not dare to enter the platform. Oh, and they serve Butterbeer! The excitement never stops!
I was the only costumer when I got there. I guess Tweedle Book Cafe is calling all the people who enjoy coffee with books. The library aura experienced instinctively will never leave you as long as you're enjoying yourself. Let your thoughts drown in the world of literature and caffeine because a place for bibliophile and caffeine junkies exist.

Price points for the food is a bit high compared to other cafes. The food was better than the drinks. I ordered the the salmon with rice and my friend ordered the mac and cheese. They were good but for PHP250 each, i think it could have been better or they could have made the serving size bigger.

For the drinks I ordered iced americano. I've tasted better iced coffee in other places.

Plus plus points for good interiors and concept! :)

If only this cafè is near my place, I will be their avid customer. I love that they have that library-but-very-chill vibe. They have lots of books and comics to entertain you while you're there (one can survive even if you have no company). I just had a wrong order though. I tried their iced cappuccino and was not impressed maybe because I am already cold because of their very efficient airconditioning system (should have ordered it hot instead) and was already full because I just ate a heavy meal. But I will go here again and try their butterbeer.

I love this place. One of my favorite studying place. It's cozy and artsy. You can draw on the board or fix the words in the small board plus there are lots of books which you can read. Discovering and trying out new dining places has always been a favorite hobby of mine. I always browse the internet and social media sites for good finds and try them out for myself. So when I happen to chance upon Tweedle Book Cafe, I got interested in their Pinoy Breakfast pasta and wanted to try it our right away since it is located near our office.

So on one of our lunch-outs, we finally, as a group, decided to come try this out. And we immediately liked what we saw.

It was located at a residential area. Looked like an old place that was recently converted to accommodate this unique coffee + library place where one can hang out. It was away from traffic noise so the ambiance was really relaxing.

Simple drink and ice cream menu and even pleasant staff. The food menu can be seen at the cash register area. The staff will patiently answer all your questions and make recommendations if they sense that you are undecided on what to order.

I love Merry Moo ice cream and I was glad they have it there though limited in options. But my fave Candied Bacon and Salted Caramel are there so that's good with me. But I did not order that day, I decided to order something new.

OUR ORDERS:
Genmaicha Latte Php100

Love the roasted taste and my companion commented that it tastes like what she had in Japan. Too bad they did not put latte art like what we saw in online posts. Hope they try to be consistent about it.

TCC Hot Chocolate in Salted Caramel (Php160)

I ordered this and I loved it! Love how rich and creamy it was. I really could drink several cups of this in one sitting. But then, that would be too expensive and I would be saying hello to Diabetes. Haha! I highly recommend this one.

Pinoy Breakfast (Php180)

This has exceeded my expectations! I came for this and it certainly delivered. This pasta has longganisa bits, tomatoes and salted egg in olive oil. It has the perfect blend of saltiness and chewiness to it since the ingredients were very generous. I hope that the next time I go here, the serving would still be the same. This is now a part of my favorite pasta dishes.

Ola! Sardinas (Php180)

This has Spanish Sardines, garlic, basil and tomatoes in olive oil. Pasta used was angel hair which complimented the lightness of the ingredients. It was good but I prefer the Pinoy Breakfast more.

They have a long table, just like a library setting. If one is engrossed in what they're doing, you certainly won't mind this setting. But for me, this is not ideal for a group of people who talks loudly because it might disrupt the others. There are other tables for that. And books are everywhere! You can definitely lose yourself in this place once you start on a good read.

Overall, it has been a very pleasant experience, well, save for the serving time of our pasta orders. Afterall, we only had an hour because it was just our lunch break and had to go back to work after. That took nearly 30 minutes. But that did not hinder our good moods. I hope they improve on that. Other than that, I loved everything!

I didn't discover this place via social media or word of mouth but just by accident when I passed by Scout Gandia and caught a glimpse of their cafe name "Tweedle Book Cafe" I'm a big fan of Alice in Wonderland so I thought this place was like a tribute to Tweedledim & Tweedledum the twins in the book.

The next time I was passing through Scout Gandia I made sure I'd stop over at Tweedle Book Cafe. This place was a book cafe so they had shelves filled with books once you enter and I just fell in love with it. I only ordered one item from their menu which was Hibiscus-infused Hot chocolate ( you can also take it as cold as well) deviating from my normal hot chocolate. And the sweetness of the hibiscus and the cocoa was good. Not too watery as well. A bit creamy.
This place was quiet, you'd see people reading and enjoying their books. They have 2 floors but for that day the 2nd floor wasn't open.
Bookworms will love this place as much as I did. You can borrow any book from the shelves as long as you buy something from their menu. For that visit, I was able to finish the HONY book! Hopefully next time I'll buy the meals from their menu  to appreciate the place even more.
