Perfect hand-pulled noodles....with tendon please!
Awesome! Dry beef noodle was flavorful. Noodles had great consistency and the portions are huge! Dumplings were also great. We got the pork and lamb. Pork had expected but good flavor but the lamb was amazing in flavor did not expect it. Greatly reccomend!
One of the best authentic hand pulled noodles in the Banawe area. Braised Beef Dry Noodles is a must try! Big serving size, good for 2 people on the regular order. Service is pretty quick and the ambiance is your typical no-frills chinese restaurant.
Best and most unpretentious hand pulled noodles. dry beef brisket noodles are the bomb! Best paired with their dumplings. The price is super cheap as well. Always worth the long drive to Banawe.

I love this place. Great food, great service, great vibe. Although I think I might be biased because I used to always come here with my dad when he picked me up from school. The staff are always friendly and would chat with us when business was slow. Especially the ones making noodles behind the glass, they’d do tricks and stuff. We often got free food too since they know our faces. I came recently without my dad and the food is the same. I mean the servings are smaller than they were 10 years ago bc hey the economy sucks now but the taste is the exact same! I recommend my dad’s favorite, the beef brisket noodles but get it dry and have fun with the sauces. The dumplings are also very good as well as the yangzhao fried rice.
I LOVE their Lamb dumplings here (PHP 240 for 14 pcs). If I could only eat one last meal on earth, I'd choose this (but with more pcs LOL)
Having said that, it's the only dish I like here... I find their noodles cold (like it's been in the freezer too long, even if they say it's freshly made). Likewise, their wanton is a bit sticky. Pick up one piece and everything falls apart (I do like the shrimp though - they're tasty)
Overall, I will always come back here, as long as they still have Lamb dumplings (and gong cha right beside it yum!)
Niu Za noodles is bland and only few toppings. pork and lamv Dumplings, beef chow mien and beef and tendon noodles are good. Typical chinese la mien.
One of the best hand pulled noodles in manila 👍🏻
Beef and wanton noodles is the best for me (dry)
A very authentic taste
And the staff is very friendly
Ambience:
It's a very simple, casual, and cozy restaurant. Thanks to the timing of my visit with some luck, I was the only customer for the majority of my stay. I had all the peace and quiet in the world all to myself and had a mundane view of cars parking and passing by the area. :p
Fried Dumplings:
These were super good! Dim sum wrapper was perfectly crunchy, not too oily, and fillings were fairly hot and very delicious. Generally, these things are super simple but I do look for them every once in awhile.
Service:
It was a bit of a wait but my stay was very chill anyway. Everything was okay. And I had my view of cars. :)

Tried their bestseller from the chaofan menu (Beef Chao fan) and you can really taste the authentic spices in the rice! Their dry shanghai beef with wanton noodles is also a must-try. Would recommend to everyone who likes chinese cuisine.
We come here every week! Make sure to get the dry beef wanton noodles. The noodles, the beef and wanton are all good! Just hoping that they deliver or at least open earlier than 11am.
Food is good at a really affordable price. Their dumplings are good, and their rice meals, too. They serve service tea instead of water. Perfect place to pig out after studying at the Starbucks branch beside it.
We ordered beef tendon noodle, lamb dumplings, xiao long bao and pork siomai. For the noodles, they offer in regular and large size, we tried the large size and you may share it into two. Their lamb dumplings great and chewy. But the we didnt like their xiao long bao and pork siomai. It didnt taste like an authentic dimsum. FTW, they gave us a lot cilantro 🤗
Noodles here come in huge bowls and priced cheap.. You can taste the different chinese spices on their soup base.. Maybe a bit strong for some.. The dumpling platter is also really filling and delicious!
Dine in alone ordered beef wanton and seaweeds with century egg. The tasted well.specialy the soup, the serving is big good for sharing. Price is affordable. The place is clean. Service is good and fast.
I ordered dry beef wanton noodles and steamed dumplings platters. The dry beef wanton noodles overall is taste really good. While the dumplings i must say its not that good but its not that bad for me its so so, The skin is thick.
I usually don't order anything with soup because it feels ridiculous to pay for flavored water. This place, made me appreciate noodles and dimsum after I run errands. The crew is friendly and they understand if you don't come in when there's no century egg available. It is, after all, part of their draw.
Their dry beef wonton noodle is one of the best (if not the best) out chinese noodles in the city. Love the tasty jus-like sauce / broth, the perfectly cooked and handmade noodles, the wansuy / silantro (I always ask for more), and the side soup (in case you find it too dry). Just order it, please!
Was just supposed to do takeout but decided to have lunch here. The staffs are friendly & helpful. I did see 2 small cockroaches. Ine near the area where they put chopsticks & condiments and the other one was when the staff gave me tissues- it was hiding under the tissues. We ordered special braised tendon noodles 180php and steamed kuchay dumplings 85php (sorry, no pic). The taste? very flavorful, noodles are just right. Probably about 3 small pcs of beef & 2 really small pcs of tendons You can even ask for extra soup at no extra cost. Hefty serving. I just wish that there's more beef and tendons. The dumplings are good ang moist. And they also have service tea.
This must be the most flavorful beef wanton noodles that I have ever tasted. And it is a hefty serving too I might add. You could share it and even ask for extra soup from the kitchen without an additional charge. The dumplings are great too and if you are craving for rice please order the plain chao fan. Not only does the food taste great it is also very affordable.
Authentic chinese-style hand pulled noodles and dimsum. Giving this a 3.5 for decent food and affordability. Dumplings were pretty good too. Definitely a choice if you're looking for that chinese noodles fix in the area.
Great tasting noodles. You can order the dish "dry" - meaning they separate the soup from the noodles. This clearly shows that the flavor is in the noodles rather than the broth. You can watch them make the noodles in the kitchen via a see-through glass
What makes my undying quest for good food quite interesting amd exciting is that it most of the time takes me to places where I do not expect to find them. So there I was surveying the Retiro - D Tuazon area for a good dinner pig out after traveling from Eastwood to pick up my wife. I was on the hunt for some authentic chinese noodles knowing that the area is in abundance of such. Most of the placed were packed so I kept on skimming until I saw a signage that said - Authentic Hand pulled noodles. I pulled over to mom's advise and she said that this place serves really good chows. So we went to order the chicken chowmein noodles, Mini pork asado siopao and a round of chicken sauteed chaofan. Watching the cook mangle, toss, stretch and strand out the flour ball made our wait less cumbersome. Was a visual testament that the noodles are made fresh and upon order. Literally hand pulled! I took the first stab at the chowmein and wow! The flavors were bursting in my mouth! The tug - o - war between sweet, salty and spicy segments of the suce was just awesome! The noodles were perfectly supple and thick. It had that certain fullness but slippery texture that made chewing quite an activity. That was hands down good! Belly - filling too
The siopao bun melts in your mouth with very less effort. One bite unleashes all the flavory meat inside. Its sauce wasn't as nutty. That was likewise good!
And the chaofan... Oh man! Tasted like North park & Gloria maris combined! The meat and veggie segments weren't too busy despite being in large chunks. Had the right amount of stickiness too that does not fall out of the chopsticks allowing a full a take in. Service was okay but could use a little more hustle. I'd definitely come back for another round. What's good is that it's not as packed as other chinese restos in the area. Good one!
