Best Cuapao in the country but is unfortunately overpriced for the tiny portion. They should make the size bigger for what they are charging.
Great unique filipino Chinese food. No frills. Just good homey comfort food. Fried tofu and coral supreme are must orders. Frogs legs are good if you’re adventurous. Any soup, rice, or noodle dish won’t fail you either.
It is a usual Chinese dining place but their menu is not so common.
We especially love their chuanbuan or lettuce wrap ground pork. We however, didn’t like the black gulaman because it lacks sweetness but maybe this is how an authentic gulaman tastes like.

Coral Garden is one of the most popular places to eat in Banawe . They serve good Chinese cuisine . What i really love about this resto is their Qua -pao, one of the best I've tasted far . Even without the sauce , you can finished 2 to 3 pieces in just one sitting. Their food selections are good and reasonably priced. Service turnaround time is swift. Worth a revisit!
Coral Garden is one of the reasons I feel lucky to be living along Banawe (If it wasn't for the traffic caused by car repair shops it I would be in food geographic perfection haha!) The radish cake here is what you shouldn't miss ordering when you visit them. The Veg with black mushroom is what my grandmother always have. And we had a side of mapo tofu. You might not fancy the place if you're going for the grand facade, glorious interiors on any of those new gen food experience must haves. But for a quick bite or a meal before heading home you'll love coral garden. Their food is all about the sauce. Creamy, smokey, or herb filled is how I would like you to set your tummy radar amd it will point you directly here :) Their price point is also good and you'll be having chinese food without being overly dressed. Parking is available like a dice roll. It's by luck. But for me it's just a stroll away from home :)
Childhood Favorite. Consistent food quality; still the same good, savory just as how I remembered them. My all-time favorites to name a few: Crispy Beancurd, Coral chicken, Coral Supreme and seafood hotpot. For the desserts, i so love their black and white gulaman and the almond mandarin
Finally a return to my all-time favorite oyster cake, only to be had from Coral Garden. I have tried this this many, many times from other restos but none will equal CG's. But I never forget to tell them to fry it crunchy while still maintaining the gooey, sticky characteristics of the filling. I recommend that if you order this, try to have it done like mine. Their fried tofu is always great. Perfectly fried on the outside while so soft and creamy on the inside, and a special sauce completes the picture. On the other hand, we had a try at their fried fish fillet with corn but this was a sort of a letdown. So ordinary (and expensive) for 4 small fillets. Still a great experience on the overall.
Coral Garden has a very comforting feel to me because I used to eat here with my father. The place was very small and it looked like it hasn’t been renovated and decorated for a long time but the food was great especially the Bean Curd. The prices were somewhat unreasonable for me.

Coral Garden is one of my family's many favorite restaurants in the metro. Our personal favorites are the hot & sour soup, fried tofu, lomi, fried chicken, salt and pepper squid and french beans in XO sauce is also good. This place feels like home, warm staff though the place looks old. The price was okay, not too expensive.

Our family's favorite chinese restaurant!
We never get tired of going back to this place eversince i was a kid. The taste of the food is still the same even after 20+years!
For starters, the BEST hot & sour soup EVER! so far nothing i've tasted can beat their version with just the right amount and mix of spicy and sour flavor.
I also loved their house specials "Coral Supreme" -it's like fried noodle & nido oriental like sauce that you will mix together, superb!:)
"Coral Shrimp" -their own version of tempura but they used different coating.
"Sizzling Spareribs" - tender & sizzling in sweet sauce. yum!
"Salt & Pepper / Sizzling Froglegs" - also delicious, typical salt & pepper taste but also delicious if you're into exotic foods.:)
The place is kinda old, but for me it feels like home. since i've been here for the nth time already.:) and the staff are all nice & accomodating. Dont have to wait too long for the food to be served. Will surely be back to this place.
This old restaurant is a staple for many families. Try their bean curd! Their fried rice is also really good, you can never go wrong. Try to balance your orders though: if you take a lot of saucy items, they might start to taste the same.
Coral Garden has always been one of the staples in our family since I was a kid. We used to eat in the restaurants but now we just have delivery or take out. The restaurant may look old and worn down but the food is timeless.
Our usual orders are Crispy Bean Curd served with sweet soy sauce, Yang Chow / Salted Fish fried rice, Coral Chicken, Coral Beef and the super yummy Coral supreme. Also try the Coral (hot and sour) soup for a great starter. Their food is perfect for sharing especially someone who appreciates great tasting Chinese food.
Coral Garden is truly one of the hidden secrets in Banawe
