Best European wine and dine in Manila! I'd recommend this place to everyone! Great food and fantastic atmosphere! :)
The staff and owner of Casa Renato are welcoming and accommodating. They know what they are doing

we held our first company Christmas party last night here... my colleagues and family love casa renato... great ambiance, very good service and delicious food!
Food is great and ambiance is nice too. Friendly staff.
The food was so good, restaurants in the malls, go and learn how food should taste. The service was good and polite, questions around the food was answered and correct. HIGHLY RECOMEND this restaurant, go there and get the taste of good foods. Only a few minus ehis don't make the food less tasty, more wine to choose from, red and white. Another thing which seams strange to a Filipino, foreigners use fork and knife, not fork and spoon, only spoon for soups. Thank you so very much for a good dinner for the five of us s, taste and God looking foods not so much better than that - IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN THERE, GO THERE, NOW!! Please understand, I am not in any way paid for writing this review, first time there, and I don't regret, Thank you, Casa Renato!
Perfect place for your extraordinary dinner date or small family gathering 👍🏼
Been here for a birthday celebration of a friend.
The ambiance and aesthetics of this place are marvelous. Every corner is rich with beautiful decorations and accent pieces. I see it as an Old European style. They have a main dining area for those who just want to eat and walk in and surprisingly, they have a lot of rooms for functions and events too. There is a holding area or lobby in the middle of the restaurant where they are benches, beautiful lamps and decors. This place is really Instagram worthy! Alongside the beautiful architecture and design, they play to chill and classic music that really complements the atmosphere.
Their food is great too! They have huge servings that can be for a maximum of 4 persons. I was able to taste their Spaghetti which is really sweet and savory. A favorite of mine is the Buffalo wings which are not too spicy and really tasty. There is also this mouth-watering Morcon that I can just eat all day. And lastly, their perfectly cooked Paella.
This place is an ideal combination of good place and good food! Though it might be far from the metro, it doesn't hurt to travel for a bit and see what other places like Fairview can offer.
We decided to try Casa Renato as we checked on restaurants in Fairview via Zomato (sort by Ratings).
We were there on a rainy Saturday and we were the first customers for the night. The staffs are friendly to assist.
The place is cozy and intimate as other reviews have mentioned. They have free parking, a lot away from the restaurant itself.
We ordered 2 pumpkin soup (which we requested to have them split into 4. They accommodate it without hesitation), green salad with balsamic vinegar, pesto with roasted chicken, seafood paella and tenderloin medallion. Everything we had was good and matched our family's taste but my favorite was the steak (meat lover - present!). The portions are adequate, our order were just enough for 4 pax.
We usually end up eating in restaurants inside the mall around this area. I'm glad to have found this place. 😊

Currently here while writing this review. The place looks amazing and the food is more so. Definitely coming back and highly recommended. It's also my girlfriend and I's anniversary. Couldn't have chosen a better place to dine.
Love the Cristmas inspired room ❤️❤️❤️
Perfect for a date, proposal, birthday or family gatherings. Ordered patisseries, filipino dishes (my fave) steak and prawns for our dinner date. Everything was perfect. Ordered Bicol’s express twice. Staff were really nice I love how they made our date extra special. Thank you Casa Renato :)
Food was awesome, Tastes great! Definitely your money's worth. Ambience is great as well. You will not feel like your in fairview when inside.

Hidden gem of Fairview, I got lucky one Friday night and got to spend dinner here to celebrate a friend’s birthday.
Ordered:
Mixed Green Salad With Vinagrette P265
Pesto With Roasted Chicken P375
Tenderloin Medallion P575 (Highly Recommended)
Ox Tongue P410
Food portions are big and for someone who wants to try as plenty as possible, you’d have to be sure to skip your usual snack or merienda because you’ll definitely feel super full and satisfied after dining here. I also have to give two thumbs up since the ambience and interiors are cozy. Excellent service too! Our group of 4 had a lot of requests and glad staff are very friendly and accommodating. Place wasn’t at full capacity, so we were lucky enough to have our orders out in a timely manner.
If asked if I will be back, answer would definitely be a yes. I won’t mind going back next week and brave traffic to try other food offerings here. Although parking might be a problem, I found out that there’s a place a few meters away from the establishment where you can park. Not the most convenient thing, but for the love of the food, you don’t want to miss out on dining at Casa Renato.

We have dined here a couple of times and my husband proposed in this restaurant so this place is quite memorable. Definitely something instagrammable too. The food is great as well as the ambience. Perfect for intimate dates. They also have private rooms for small gatherings. You may rent the space at the back for an intimate event or - like what my husband did - a proposal.
Best kept secret of the north! Your secret rendezvous can be done here seriously!
Food was delicious and prepared deicately. Also, servings are huge I actually got full just by the eating the appetizer. Haha! Staff - friendly and proper. It was such a nice and sweet experience.
They also have function rooms at the back that opens up to a wonderland of sorts with a huge tree in the middle :) The rooms have different themes, most to me looked Christmas-y which I love! Will keep coming back :)
Perfect for a date night, intimate dinner, family affair or just a cozy hangout, Casa Renato offers a warm and pleasant nook situated at the heart of Fairview, QC. They are known for their european and mediterranean dishes which are well-plated and are served in generous portions. On this particular night, our group orderd their pumpkin soup, seafood bisque, quesadilla, chicken bruschetta, salad, fish and chips, puttanesca renato, seafood pasta, beef salpicao and the roast beef plate. Most tasted really good as I had a quick bite except the salad, seafood pasta and fish and chips since I did not get a chance to taste. The seafood bisque was creamy and full of flavor! It even had real bits of seafood in it. The pumpkin soup was just as good but I would have liked it to have more pumpkin more than cream. Quesadilla was served with a garlicy sauce and a hummus-like sauce on the side. Chicken Bruschetta had the perfect texture and balanced flavor. The beef salpicao was a bit tough but I like how they made it with more tang in the sauce. The roast beef was done perfectly as it was melt in your mouth indulgence! Mashed potatoes and buttered veggies complimented the meat well. Will surely come back.
The place looks fancy. They have different rooms to dine in which is instagramable. The food is pricey but worth it. Only problem that I see is parking space.
Been searching for a fancy🍷 restaurant that would fit my 1,000-peso budget (for 2) take note: with dessert already **desserts are def a must!** .
WE'VE FOUND IT! OOOHLALA!
@casarenato is the place to be! *SWIPE LEFT FOR MORE PHOTOS*
So we ordered these delish dishes good for (4pax) 👇
1. Grilled Hickory (P325)- "Liempo 5.0" served with Hickory rice 😉
2. Braised Pork Belly (P325)- browned pork simmered in garlic onion, herbs and shitake mushrooms
3.Sirloin Tapa de Gracia (P325)- marinated beef sirloin served with buttered veggies
4. Cordon Bleu (P395)- breaded ham and chicken meat with cheezy inner filling, served with buttered veggies and creamy mushroom sauce
5. ❤ Pesto with Roasted Chicken (P375)- pasta in pesto cream sauce & mushrooms with deboned chicken marinated in garlic & cumin (MY FAVORITE!) ❤
As for the dessert --- Strawberry Cheesecake (P185) - cheesecake topped with strawberries & syrup
Can you feel the vibe? .
Visit #casarenato and indulge yourselves with these romantic dishes and heartwarming ambiance!
The ambience is good, very romantic place. Lots of instagramable spot. The food is good. Staff is very accommodating. Perfect for couples, family and friends.
My fiancé proposed to me in this restaurant. It was our second time in the restaurant. He rented the whole function area and surprised me with a mob dance. The place is already a bit old but its really nice as it gives you a really good classic vibes and will take you back in time.
He requested a catering for over 50 pax. The staff went along with all the surprises and they were very nice too! I couldn't get a picture of the food but the photos will show just how romantic the place is!
The place is pretty unique and has a comfortable ambiance. The food was great!!!! Servers were great. Generous servings + it tastes good!! Will definitely visit soon :)
One of my favorite restaurants in Fairview! Took us forever to find the place (you will have to drive around a subdivision, usual traffic) but it’s worth it. The music is soothing, ambiance is dreamy and their food? Everything. I highly recommend this for some late date nights with your bae!
Still by far my favorite restaurant in Fairview area. This ambiance is great! Food is nice, service is superb! Every time I’m around Fairview area I make sure I drop by this place.
Cozy Mediterranean setup w soothing music ✔️
Friendly and accommodating staff ✔️
Above all, food was tasty, served in a huge platter. ✔️
Gem hidden in Fairview 📌
the carbonara was amazing and the salads were refreshing. i havent tried alot but for me the foods were i right flavor. the waiters were friendly the place was cozy easy to find. I would love to have a date with my future boyfriend hahahahha
I reserved a dinner for two for our monthsary celebration with my boyfriend and everything was spot on. We ordered mixed green salad with balsamic vinaigrette, buffalo wings, fusion paella, and barbecued spareribs.
Only thing I didn’t like in my paella is the chorizo, because the saltiness is overpowering the other mains in the dishes. Overall taste, it was still yummy though.
The barbecued spareribs tasted like nasobrahan naman ng anise.
Staff are attentive, but a smile wouldn’t hurt either :)
Location is not hard to find. Serving size is big and mabubusog ka talaga. No need for extra rice. Because my boyfriend ordered one hirap na siyang ubusin pa or kumalahati sa extra rice. Hahaha.
If you’re looking for a venue na old european/mediterranean style - this is a good choice to consider. It is a good place for celebration or intimate dining because it has a “very private” vibes once you enter the premises palang. Prices are also reasonable.
I also liked the idea of water being placed inside wine bottles.

*The place- really nice and cozy. It has a homey feeling to it. If you're looking for an intimate dinner with your love ones, this is a perfect place for you. Though the location and signage is not noticeable.
*Food- we ordered the ff:
Seafood brisque- it taste good and creamy. Pricey. Calamari frito- i don't understand the taste. Pricey.
Steak quesadilla- super yummy!
Beef salpicao- my husband loves it though their serving is small.
Seafood pasta- it taste good and you can see large chunks of seafoods.
Fillet of Salmon- nothing special. Pricey
Tenderloin medallion- this is my favorite. It's really soft and flavorful.
*Staff- the guard or staff in the entrance is not smiling at all. But ate, the one who got our order is really accommodating.
*Price- food is kinda expensive given that it only has small servings and so-so flavors.
* Over-all i would still come back again especially on a date night with hubby.
Good day. Kindly take down your phone numbers from this page if you will not answer phone calls! I tried calling for several days now to make a May 13 reservation. Phones (land line and mobile) just keep on ringing.
I live around Fairview almost half of my life but it's only last year that i discovered this place; thank God I did!😊 We had lunch here celebrating my mom's birthday. The place was really cozy and romantic that every nook and cranny is instagramable. The food presentation was world-class and they all taste really good. If you want privacy, a spot to have a romantic dinner date and you live up north, this is the place to go to!
Been passing by to this place but its always closed without knowing that their business hours is 11am to 2pm for lunch and 6pm to 10 for dinner only.
Lucky enough one Saturday and my husband and I spotted the gate opened.and decided to had our lunch there. As early as last month the place is already adorned with Christmas decors.
Their main dining area seems small and can only accommodate arround 20 pax but we were surpised to find out that tbey have a backyard perfect for al fresco event. There are also about 4 to 5 function areas good for intimate family gathering and even amazed tbat there us a room goid for just a couple.
They are basically serving mediterrenean foods. We ordered Morcon, gambas and Putanesca Renato.
I must say that the morcon passed my standard as I myself can cook morcon,it was flavorful and meat was tender. Serving is just right. Gambas also taste good as well as the pasta.
Staff are attentive and very accommodating.
I would definitely reccommend the place and will go back there to try other foods on their menu.
We went there for lunch and ordered caesar salad, pesto pasta with grilled chicken and seafood pasta and for desert, chocolate cake and brazo de mercedes.
Caesar salad - good
Pesto pasta with grilled chicken - creamy and yummy! 👌🏻🙂
Seafood pasta - a bit spicy but delicious and the seafood ingredients taste fresh! 👌🏻🙂
Chocolate cake and brazo de mercedes - good but ordinary.
The waitstaff is generally okay although there was this one guy behind a counter that just stared at us when we were entering the main dining area when he should have been welcoming us with a smile.
The place is quaint and cozy. They have several rooms in the back for small groups of people and for private dining experience.
Glad to have this kind of restaurant just a few blocks from I live. 🙂
Bonding time with Siblings became an awesome night here in Casa Renato. The food was so great. Must try are the Chicken Pesto and the Classic Carbonara. But the highlight of this is the place itself. Perfect for family events and reunions. They do not have their own parking though.
This place lies at the further end of Dahlia St. and is one of the better finds in the area. The restaurant is very homey, and has a lot of little displays that probably come from the owner's collections. Their food tastes like home cooked meals and are served with good presentation. The description says manila inspired but I somehow feel that it's Italian inspired. Service takes a bit of time but not irritatingly long and their crew is very friendly.
Overall ambience is great, I liked the European vibe of the restaurant. Service was excellent and food was prepared at a good pace.
Will definitely eat here again.
•IG-worthy place - best if you go here at night to get the "perfect lighting" 😂
•Easy-to-find location - can be looked-up using Grab/Uber 👌🏼
•friendly crew - serving every plate with a smile 😊
•affordable but mouth-watering food - *drops the mic* 🤘🏼
The first time i came here was back at 2013, days after their opening. Despite being small, the place is very cozy and instagram worthy. The food was good but a little bit pricey for it's taste, but the presentation was wonderful. I ordered the puttanesca renato (photo below) again, i visited the restaurant 4 years ago so that's also the age of the photo haha.
More variety in your menu.
Include wines, its best for small gatherings and goes well with the type of food you serve.
Ambiance is great for small groups.
1. Please try to visit this place when you are in Fairview. It's a hidden gem and an excellent alternative to the restaurants in SM Fairview & Ayala Terraces.
2. The ambience is beautiful. Think of all the decors of your Mary Grace Cafe squeezed into a smaller and more intimate setting. (The lighting is a tad dim though -- it can be dizzying)
3. Food is superb but somewhat pricey. We had the quesadillas, beef salpicao and the ox tongue. The quesadillas was top notch but the ox tongue was the highlight of the three -- the meat was so tender and the sauce so creamy and delicious (they will even give you extra sauce!). The beef salpicao was good too though a bit salty for my taste.
4. I'd be glad to bring my friends over here.
My Foodmeter:
🍴Food: 4/5
💶 Price: 3/5
🎨 Ambiance: 5/5
🛂 Service Crews: 4.5/5
👌Must try: Beef Salpicao, Cream of Mushroom and Chocolate Cake
Note:
- Perfect place for dates they have garden area at the back
Iffy neighborhood but a real keeper on the inside. Very vibrant and cozy feel. The crew also helped allot when i asked them to give a necklace to my girlfriend on my cue on a covered plate. Awesome experience, fantastic crew, mouth watery delicacies and instagramable moments.

My husband and I were hunting for food after our doctor's appointment in FEU Hospital. After Googling a few places, we decided to try Casa Renato since it was nearby. We were hesitant at first since the menu seemed pricey for an impromptu lunch date. We're both glad we tried the place anyway.
Ambience: 5.0
The place was great. The dining area had six tables so even on full days, it won't feel like a cafeteria. Luckily we were the only customers and we got the entire place to ourselves. They had rustic Christmas decors so it felt more whimsical.
Service: 5.0
Every single person there was friendly and eager to assist. They would hurry to open doors for us whenever we stood up to go to the washroom. They made great food suggestions and food was served in a matter of minutes.
Food: 5.0
Don't let the price intimidate you. We ordered their Beef Salpicao and Pesto Pasta. It was definitely worth it. The pasta came with almost as much toppings as noodles. It was so filling and wasn't swimming in oil. It was so good my husband ate half my pasta and thought about ordering another for take out.
So you're probably wondering why my overall score is 4.5 even though I rated them 5.0 on food, service, and ambience. The place was beautiful and spotless except for the cigarette butts in the washroom. I'm very picky when it comes to washrooms and I just found it so gross to see cigarettes there. Please don't throw cigarettes in the washroom! I almost lost my appetite but the food was too good.
April 2016
First time to eat in Fairview and I didn't know what to expect. Upon entering the resto, I was already pleased by what I saw. I Liked the food! We ordered beef salpicao and beef bulgogi (not sure though) and they were good and not pricey. Good service and excellent ambiance!! Must see what's behind the small seating area up front ;)
Place and ambiance are so wonderful. Food is great. My daughter and I really love everything. And very good customer service. Worth your money. We will be definitely going back here! 🍷🍷🍷
My friend and I were lucky because we came in a few hours before closing time, which was at 2 PM (open from 11am-2pm & 6-10pm). Nonetheless, we still had enough time to appreciate our orders, and go around the beautiful restaurant.
I ordered the Cilantro Grilled Chicken Breast, which was super delicious! I was a bit hesitant in ordering it because of the price (P300), but the flavorsome dish was definitely worth every peso. My friend's Pesto Pasta w/roast chicken (P330) was also just as tasty. The cream was thick and was generously mixed with pesto.
We certainly enjoyed the food and the ambiance (perfect date place!) despite the heavy drizzle during our visit.
Food was fine and staff was friendly. Very nice and cozy atmosphere. Maybe will go back here again because its next to the place where I have boundaries. Otherwise wouldnt go again but I also dont regret been here.
Its good but nothing special.
perfect date night at this perfect date place hidden at fairview, ambiance was 5/5 , total package as to settings , paintings and setup, food quality and quantity was still 5/5 , i loved the seafood pasta that i ordered , i like everything about this place i will surely come back to celebrate and create memories at a place like this
Casa Renato is the perfect place to treat your friends from the south. Give them a little tour of the romantic venue (don't forget the beautiful ensemble at the back!) then, start off by mystifying their tastebuds by ordering the Mixed Green Salad w/ Balsamic Vinaigrette (my personal favorite). Then, further tease them with the Spicy Steak Quesadilla!
For the main course, there are choices for fish, lamb, beef, poultry and pork. I tried them all and the Grilled U.S. Top Blade Medallion (medium rare) was simply the BEST.
When you get sick and tired of the restaurants in Manila, come to Fairview and let Casa Renato rock your tastebuds! I guarantee it would leave you coming back for more.

When I got in the restaurant itself, I almost fainted. The interiors are so dreamy. It reminds me of a cozy restaurant in the mountainous regions of Italy, Austria, or Switzerland. The table setting is impeccable. The chairs are comfortable and classy. The decor, really adds to the mood. My impression was that the owner of this restaurant painstakingly made sure every detail was captured to yield the intended effect. Had Brillat-Savarin been alive, he would have flown all the way from France just to tap the owner on the shoulder and say, "Oui, oui!"
For today's meal, I decided to order the Pesto with Roast Chicken and a slice of Brazo de Mercedes for dessert.
The first time I saw it on their menu, I knew I had to try it. I am a fan of pesto, bechamel sauce, mushroom, and chicken, and since it has all these elements, I went for it. The presentation is so-so. I don't think it looks sloppy. I actually like how bold it looks. It's like you can feel the passion poured into the cooking by the way the elements were placed together. As for taste, I have to say it's as bold and beautiful as it looks. The pesto didn't taste minty, but rather savory, and the bechamel had the right amount of saltiness and creaminess to it. The olive oil, a little on the extra side, but it wrapped everything together well. The chicken is the supporting character to this dish, and well maybe that's the reason why it wasn't as tasty as the pasta. Intentional or not, I dunno, but I feel that it was meant to supplement the pasta, not compete with it. The additional bread sticks gave the dish an extra texture.
Now I am not a dessert person, but a slice of Brazo de Mercedes always makes me go "ooooh gimme!". Sadly, that was not what I felt with the brazo I had. I do not want to use the term, but it tasted commercial. I did not feel that it was something from their kitchen. It was kinda forgettable, like I forgot I ate it. You know, that kind of feeling.
I had a great time in this restaurant that I already had in mind booking two appointments in the future! The server who tended to my needs was very nice, and he kept me company since I was the only one there, ALONE, AGAIN, NATURALLY. The doorman also took photos of me without any hesitations. The service crew seemed distant, I have to say, but maybe it's because I did not really need anything else. It's not a big deal.
If you do find yourself in Fairview, you have to try out Casa Renato. It's like home away from home, for your appetite
Growing up, my family, especially my mother, exposed me and my sister to a lot of Italian/Americanized Italian cuisine: Shakey's, Pizza Hut, Sbarro, and so on. This probably explains why I love pasta a lot. As in. I need a pasta fix every so often, and in restaurants, I often look to see if there is a pasta offering. So I decided to spend my 21st birthday lunch at Casa Renato, a cozy little Italian restaurant in--surprise!--our neighborhood here in Fairview.
Casa Renato is situated in a lot that was probably an old house compared to the more recent subdivision developments here in Fairview. The front is a tiny gate (no parking area, really). Inside is a lovely main room decorated with flowers, a tarpaulin with an Italian cityscape against one wall, and various odds and ends with Italian expressions, classic movies, and wine bottles. There is also a television showing scenes from Italy and "Italian" music like "That's Amore" and "Volare" play on the stereo.
The staff was very attentive and made sure we got seated in our reserved table at once, and handed us our menus. We chose the tomato salsa crostini for appetizer; my sister got the Cream of Mushroom soup while I got the Seafood Bisque. The Mushroom soup was way, way better than any Knorr or Campbell's version--it was buttery, creamy and was the definition of 'soul food'. My seafood bisque was a creamy, cheesy soup that was heavy in texture and the flavor of fish, clams, and crab. There were also some bits of tomato at the bottom that freshened up the tastebuds, but it would have been better if I'd had them throughout instead of the last few spoons.
The crostini was so, so fresh, so 'legit'. The bread was quite bland, making it a good canvas for the cream cheese, the bed of tomatoes, and the little dollop of fresh pesto in the center of each slice of bread. Definitely better than anything you can make at home with grocery tomatoes. Also, the crostini went great with the seafood bisque--the harmony of flavors and textures was so filling, appetizer and soup pa lang, ulam na! Haha!
For those with tiny stomachs like me, if you want to maximize ordering, it would be good to split the dishes with someone else since they are quite rich. The big plate of fresh seafood pasta was overflowing with shrimps, mussels, and large slices of fish. The sauce was a tomato-y cheesy blend that stuck well to the flat noodles used. It came with two slices of bread (not garlic bread, though). Needless to say I was really quite bloated 80% into the plate! First time to have met my match in Regina vs. Seafood Pasta!
I sampled my sister's pesto, which was indeed very good. My dad's order of salpicao was tasty, though the beef wasn't as soft as it could be (either that or my dad's getting sensitive teeth). My mom's bulgogi was okay; better than fastfood bulgogi but I still preferred my pasta. She said the rice was very soft as well.
My sister ordered some demitasse afterwards: Barako coffee and some Brazo de Mercedes, which was much more filling and siksik than bakeshop Brazo. It was not very sweet, which made it perfect since the slice was bigger than usual.
After our meal, my family and I had some photo-ops in the garden/courtyard that stood in the middle of the main room and the little meeting/function rooms. These were also decorated in Italian/vintage styles, with posters of Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, and funny posters on beer and wine bottles on the shelves. The couches were also adorable! Definitely a nice change from the 'usual' that is minimalist decoration and modern ambiance. What a lovely place, and how convenient that it is just near our house! Definitely coming back.
Romantic and cozy. Super love the design and interior of the place, just perfect for a dinner date ☺ the seafood pasta is HEAVEN and so is the beef salpicao. Staff is very accomodating and even asked us how was the food. But I would suggest that they add more dessert selection on their menu. Will definitely come back soon.
Casa Renato's interior is well-decorated and gives a relaxing mood. For my lunch, I got the Ox Tongue which was really tender and melted on my tongue (tongue to tongue). No need to use my knife to cut it through. Kudos to the chef.

Who would've thought that Fairview would ever have a fine dining joint ever? Well if you ask me, it's a brilliant idea!
Classy interiors that will transport you to old school Manila during the Spanish Era.
While the prices are quite expensive considering the area, it is quite competitive and reasonable for its quality and presentation.
We ordered spicy quesadilla for appetizers and I really enjoyed the hot kick on the usual quesadilla.
For our main course, we had the Grilled US Top Blade Medallion is a work of art! Linguine Pasta Negra is also a delight for the eyes but so- so on the taste buds.
Make room for Grilled Angus Bacon Steak. You can't go wrong with Bacon and Steak in 1 dish. It was juicy, tender and flavorful. The cilantro grilled chicken breast was also good but it kind of lacked taste inside the chicken. My favorite would have to be the Barbecued Spareribs. Really enjoyed the sweet and saucy take on this.
Overall I really enjoyed my visit! Another food gem tucked away for well deserves seekers to find! Make sure to get table reservation before coming as they can only sit maybe 15 persons as a time.
If you have intimate parties for 6, they also have small rooms! I promise this trip to the North would be worth it so do drop by!
Superb ambiance , its like 'i dnt wanna go out'. Good food! Worth the prize, perfect for dinner so you can more appreciate the lightings while you eat..A resto that you can recommend to relatives and friends.
The place is made up of a small restaurant which I think would seat around 15 persons. The rest of the place is made up of function rooms where I think they get most of their revenue.
Anyway, the restaurant is very cozy with an old home feel. Old school music was playing when we got there. I was about to ask the waitress what CD was playing when I heard the Spotify ad.
The food is served complete with decorations. We first had the green salad (which by the way was not on the menu so you have to ask the waitress for suggestions). The dressing tasted well with the veggies, grapes and nuts. My family then had the lamb steak, salmon and tapa while I had the salpicao.
The salpicao was delicious. It had a different taste although a bit salty. Judging from my son's appetite, the lamb must have been good as well. As for the tapa and salmon, there was nothing extraordinary with it but it wasn't bad.
I had a great birthday celebration with my family here. First , they have dining rooms that could accommodate more than 10 people. Second, great interior and theme in a restaturant. I really love it. Third, they have a great chef 😊 The food was really delicious. Planning to dine again here soon.

Bag of Beans is one of those places that you definitely must visit when you are in Tagaytay. In fact, I consider Bag of Beans to be one of those establishments that have become a landmark in the areas where it operates. You cannot truly say that you have been to Tagaytay if you have not yet visited Bag of Beans.
I'm happy to have heard of this place from a friend. The exterior is not that eye catching as it is just around the corner of a busy Dahlia street. You wouldn't think that a restaurant like this exists in that area. Food is great. Ambiance is really cozy.
I fell totally in love with the place the moment I step inside the dining area. The ambiance has a quaint feeling that takes you to Europe. The food is great and the price is just right. I ordered the beef salpicao and I'm quite happy with it. It was good but when they first served it, the beef was raw and gummy so I requested them to cook it again a little more and when they serve it again I've been satisfied because it tasted so delicious. I also liked thier quesadilla and puttanesca and I can't wait to try the other foods on their menu.

Their food tastes great but a bit overpriced based on their small servings.

Spent my Valentine dinner here. We were lucky to get a table even without a reservation because we came early. The staff are nice and accomodating, food is great. You guys should celebrate special occassions here.
The place is located in Dahlia, Fairview, Quezon City. You wouldn't notice the cafe since the outside is not that much appealing. But I am sure that you'll love the place once you get in. The place's theme is meditteranean. The food was so nice too.

Casa Renato is a gem tucked away in a quiet nook along Dahlia St. in Fairview, Quezon City. The place is warm, friendly, clean and cozy. The first thing that you would notice when you enter the place is the many antiques that were used to decorate it -- a phonograph with an old record, old posters and decors, and liquor bottles to name a few.
Casa Renato offers Filipino, Mexican, Spanish and American cuisines. The food is great -- from appetizers to the main course. The servings are hefty - perfect for sharing - and the price is just right. Worth trying are the quesadillas, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly, and pasta selections. We also enjoyed dishes that were part of their Mother's Day special menu -- pan-seared tuna and beef salpicao.
The restaurant is a perfect place for intimate family dinners, weekend dates with a loved one or a relaxing after-work meal. And for those who do not like crowded places, Casa Renato is for you.
