Me and my gf loves dining here! The restaurant serves the most exclusive gastronomic delights. Tonight we'll dine here again! Fave japfood in Timog so far.
The place looks fantastic with their beautiful wall murals and seating options (you can opt for high chairs or normal seating; you can also choose to sit outside to listen to the band, if any, or inside where it’s cooler and more peaceful).
The sushi’s moderately priced and they have promos that give you value for your money. We always get sushi and the salmon’s always wonderful. Cheeselovers would be well satisfied with the flaming maki, and those who wish for simpler fare can choose less complicated options. The ramen’s not as good, so better skip.
The staff is nice and welcoming. Overall, dining there is always a pleasant experience.

This place was amazing, good for relaxing, they also have a band every night. Food is 💯 good the Flaming maki it's on Fire 🔥 😍, Excellent service also
I liked it. This isn't strictly authentic Japanese but I believe the infusion of western influences on their rolls were well executed. The food was fresh with a balance of texture and presentation. It's a small place and the service was responsive. Alcohol was well priced and fair. Overall, good value for money.

I honestly see 81 Seikai as an underrated sushi restaurant! Their sushis are really good and tasty, not to mention their choices are different to what we usually see in other restaurants. The prices are ffordable too! I would definitely go back again, maybe even over the weekend! 💕
Love the all the food and the ambiance. The staff are extra friendly, specially the executive chef, Mr. Ronnie de Guzman, who made sure we get the right amount if service and gave us complimentary mango cheesecake, which btw the best I’ve ever tasted. So, thank you!
The ambience was great. We went on a sunday night past 8 so the soft acoustic gig was already starting. Will go back to try the buy 1 take 1 cocktails.
Thumbs up for the flaming maki !!! Good food plus excellent resto staff made it a resto to go back for. Will try to eat here at night. Will bring relatives and friends as well
Food was really good! We ordered salmon sashimi, flaming maki, dragon roll, california maki. Their sukiyaki was amazing! Also, the servers were friendly and nice. As to ambience, it’s a great place for dates and family dinners. They even have live band last wednesday. We got the 20% discount starting 8PM.
Great customer service. Great food. We ordered seafood ramen, sushi moriwase, yakisoba and wagyu cubes, all are taste good. We all have smiles in our face when we went out. Will definitely be back again 😋👍
The first thing I noticed upon entering the restaurant is the ambiance. It’s modern and I personally like the styling and the decor! During our visit we were the only customers, so the food was served quickly and the servers were very attentive too. My glass of water was literally never empty-as soon as I’ve drank a portion of it they quickly replenished my fill 😂 The food itself was pretty good, the options are varied and I can definitely find myself going here again for another visit.
Staff: attentive, quick
Ambiance: very good, gives off a cool vibe, i think it'll be better during dinner time. I came here durng lunch.
Food: good, i like the sushi fusion, but the cream cheese in the sushi is very overwhelming, i hope that they will lessen it. But overall, a good experience! :)
I'll be back soon.
Been here 2x already within a week👍
.
Went back for the Foie Gras. The flavor will burst in your mouth in one bite. The dragon roll and gyudon is yummy as well. The rest are just like the typical jap foods we eat.
.
Nice ambiance. Great service. Price worthy. Worth the travel. One of our "Go-to" restos when it comes to jap foods.
Japanese cuisine has to be one of the most well-loved cuisines in Manila. You can find everything from quick service to premium to specialty restaurants, all catering for a taste of the land of the rising sun. Interiors of 81 Sehai. 81 Seihai Sushi Lounge sets itself apart by offering fusion Japanese food. Like many new restaurants these days it also takes into account how many Filipinos love taking photos by creating a space that is very instagrammable.
Great food, people and customer service! No smoking area for my friends who smoke though but I remember my friends were allowed to do it the first time we went there. Loved the acoustic band. I even got to sing. Lol
Authentic japanese experience!
We tried their house cucumber roll, hiranos special, seafood ramen and gyoza. Their salmon sashimi had big pieces and was very fresh! The ebi tempura was a slight disappointment because it wasn't served hot but still it was crispy and sauce was okay. (UPDATE: The 2nd time I ate here, the tempura was hot and crispy! Good improvement!)
Nice interior and waiters are very accommodating!
Make sure to make reservations because the place is small and seats are crowded. There is available valet parking.
Loved how unique and mouth watering the fusion sushis are. Place was cozy and the interior was nice. Staff were very accommodating, knows their menu well and know what best to recommend. Even got close and personal with their exec. Chef, Chef Ronnie. Compliments to him and the #81seihai team! 😊
I can really say that 81SEIHAI is the bomb! The food was absolutely delightful; I love their food so much especially the sushi boat with luscious strawberry shake (What a perfect match!). The staff are very approachable specially the way they served the food. I was also amazed how Chef Ronnie served the flaming maki! It was so fresh, from composition to presentation. I’ll definitely visit you again 81 SeiHai!
Tried this new place while driving around and looking for a place to eat. We saw this new sushi lounge along morato, and thankfully we did not regret our decision to dine here. We tried the Chef Special and the Tuna steak covered with sesame seeds. The service was good. The food came on time as promised. The food that we ordered were perfectly prepared and it tastes so good. We would surely be back. A must try to those who loves Japanese food.
The food they serve is really great! We ordered Spicy Tuna Salad, Miso Salmon Steak with Mashed Potato, Caterpillar Roll and Shrimp Bisque Ramen. All are indeed delicious! My personal favorite was the Caterpillar Roll for it has slices of avocado on top and cream cheese inside. Their plating was Instagram-worthy too.
The crew were approachable and very friendly. Btw, they also have outlets on their high tables -- very convenient. T'was a total dining experience. :) Will definitely go back here! :)
Risotto in a japenese resto? They would not be tagged as a Japanese fusion restaurant for nothing! :) good food, good ambience, and good looking staff as well!
Feast your eyes and palate!
It’s an awesome place! Me and my friends had a great time hanging out here. I love how they focused on their modern Japanese theme that even the interiors amazed us. The staff and crew are very nice and polite. Our food was served right on time and it was to die for. Best sushi place in the metro. I highly recommend this to friends who want to get together over great food and good ambiance.
This new place in Timog is lit! Nice food, especially the flaming maki and gyoza. My favorite spot is the high table near the sushi bar - perfect place to do meetings or just chill with your friends.
My favorite is the shrimp bisque ramen. It's so flavorful! It goes well with my favorite beer, cerveza negra, which is also available at 81 seihai. I also love the flaming maki. The servers literally flame it up in front of you. It's got cheese that melts in your mouth. I highly recommend this place. :-).
Craving for delicious Fusion Sushi, try 81 SeiHai Sushi Lounge located on the ground floor of President Tower which is along Timog Avenue, Quezon City open from 10AM to 2AM. FOOD: 4/5
- The best salmon sashimi for its price!!! So fresh and such big slices. Perfect for sashimi addicts like me.
- They put a twist to their Kani Salad which I enjoyed a lot!
- The Flamming Maki was entertaining to watch hahaha it might have been a little too cheesy for me though but my sister loved it.
- It was delightful to try different kinds of sushi cause there were so many to choose from.
- What I didn’t like was their Ebi Tempura. It wasn’t that crunchy as if it wasn’t freshly cooked. Even the sauce didn’t go well with the tempura.
SERVICE: 5/5
- The staff were friendly and funny plus they gave free ice cream to the kiddos with us!
- The orders arrived fast which was good cause we were hungry.
VALUE FOR MONEY: 5/5
- The taste plus the serving size were a great deal for the price you’ll pay for
AMBIANCE: 4.5/5
- super clean and they have a nice interior
- there were televisions plus a dj on the side
- they also have a couch
- though the place is a bit small. It might be too crowded if there will be a few more customers.
CLEANLINESS: 5/5
