Great food, reliable quality, the place we bring guest to the city. Love their pasta, salmon, and amazingly, the best New England clam chowder we've had since we lived in New England!
Grilled pork chop is my favorite. One of the best baby back ribs in town. I also love the chef's wife salad, buffalo wings, roti prata, and baked seafood rice. Sarap balik balikan!
Their new quesadilla burger is a must-try! Has a very cozy ambience & the staff are really accommodating. Will definitely go back!
Food is so good! My top 5 favorites are baby back ribs, grilled pork chop, buffalo wings, beef salpicao, beef shish kebab. I can eat it every single day. So delicious!

Serves one of the best pasta and salmon and fish & chips that I ever had, highly recommended, go visit now!
Best find in Visayas Ave., delicious food, excellent service, will definitely back!
Food is to die for especially the babyback ribs and panacotta.

I love the place & the foods
Perfect!!!
We loved everything that we ordered on this first visit - truffle pasta, buffalo wings and nachos. Service was very good. Nice people working in the resto.
Excellent service and good ambiance. Delicious back ribs, value for money. Must try the brownie ala mode!

We had our very first date as a couple in this cozy restaurant. The vibe was very homey and the staff was very friendly. We had their truffle pasta, ribs, and pork liempo. Thanks to Zomato Gold, we got the truffle pasta as a complimentary dish. It was really good! Especially the truffle pasta. The truffle did not give off a very strong taste compared to my other experience with truffle. Their ribs were so good I had to wipe the sauce with the fries. :) Will definitely dine here again.
Try Oliva’s. Don’t miss out.
Food: Roti prata with curry sauce 10/10
Baked tiger prawns with oliva pasta 9/10
Beef shish kebab 10/10
Brownie ala mode 7/10
Indian milk tea 7/10
Mixed berries smoothie 5/10

Very attentive and friendly crew
Delicious food, amazing staff!
We literally saw the staff flip the store signage to “closed” as we were 5 steps away the door. Really grateful that he still allowed us in even when it was almost closing time. Everyone’s really nice. We were trying to eat really fast so that they won’t have to work OT for us, but we were told that it’s okay for us to enjoy the food. Place felt like home, really.
We ordered 4 dishes and our bill came out at just around PHP 700 since 2 of us had Zomato Gold. I’d say food at Oliva’s worth the price, especially since you’ll get served by really kind and caring staff.
Baked prawns with Oliva pasta tasted amazing! We’re definitely coming back for it.
Food is delish! Prices very reasonable. Serving size more than ample. Don’t let the simple ambience fool you. Would love to try everything in their menu 😀
The place is nice and cozy. The Oliva pips are so friendly and approachable. Food is great and will definitely back to taste their other food offers. 🤗🤗🤗

All the food tasted great, plus great value with zomato. Gold we just paid 850pesos only for all of this. Service is awesome. Place is nice maybe need some repaint.

Well its worth trying here greats service and great food. We ordered beef kebab, beef salpicao.,porkchop, salmon pasta, tiger prawn pasta, nachos, club house, marinara pasta, dessrts. Well. All the food we had tasted. Good. And they cook they food you ordered so. Waiting time takes 30mins but its worth the waith. Plus they are included in the zomato gold 1+1 for food great great values. Price is reasonable. Plus the great service they gave us, smiling crew and attentive. Will come back again to try. Other dishes.
Food has good flavors. A bit pricy for me when it comes to the serving but the food taste great. Even the drinks are good. My family enjoyed the food. Plus factor is that they have a basement parking.
Ordered the roti with curry sauce, carbonara, pasta pomodoro, and their mini blueberry cheesecake. We used zomato gold during our stay and they gave us two complimentary meals. That's why it was sulit :) although, even without the zomato gold, the meals were still very affordable.
The carbonara was very creamy and cheesy (you could actually feel and taste the overload of parmensan) and it had a generous serving of meats. The pasta pomodoro however was a bit sour for my taste and the noodles were kind of thick and makunat. For the roti piata, the curry sauce that came with it was good. For our dessert, we were a bit surprised by how mini the cheesecake was, it was only as big as a small cupcake.
Anyway, overall, the staff were nice and friendly. The place was also clean. We enjoyed our stay and we are definitely going back.
For today I ordered buffalo wings, oliva burger and mozzarella sticks. Everything is so good. I’m so happy with zomato gold! Great food with reasonable price! I’ll keep on coming back for sure.
Ordered alacarte dishes: pan seared salmon with truffle pasta, pesto crusted baked salmon with pasta oliva, tiger prawn with pasta oliva and ceasar salad (not on the pic), all pasta dishes were delicious, the serving size of the salmon with the pasta is good enough and can be good for sharing if you have other food items ordered; the tiger prawn with pasta oliva only has 2 tiger prawns, yummy but wish they could serve an additional tiger prawn, would recommend the food we ordered, good value for money
If I see a truffle pasta on a restaurant I automatically order it. Hence, I've tried various kinds of truffle pasta so, I know a good truffle pasta when I smell one! 😜
While browsing the app I checked out Oliva Bistro Café. I got curious particularly on their truffle pasta due to the high rating. So I had to try it! When my pasta was served on my table I excitably said "Wow!" I got carried away by the aroma of truffle as I did not have to bury my face in it just to smell the pasta.
Also, their staff is friendly and accommodating!
5/5 would recommend!
5/5 will definitely come back!
4/5 aesthetic of the restau hehe
This is the real deal. Discovered a cafe which I think will be my fave for this year. Been craving for some Indian food and glad I finally got to grab some food to go from this establishment. They offer budget-friendly meals and happy with the flavor of their food offerings. Ordered roti with curry, butter chicken tikka masala, grilled pork chop and salad. Can’t wait to be back!
I’ve been wanting to go to this place, and fortunately I’ve tried the best truffle pasta tonight. The baby back ribs that mu friend ordered was so tender and perfectly paired with oliva pasta though you have the option of side dishes of rice and fries ü I love this place and will definitely go back and try other dishes. The server Victor is cool and friendly.
This cafe is still underated at 4 stars. The chef deserves a michelin star. I got my cooking inspiration from this cafe and whoever is driving the kitchen...definitely belong to a different level. There’s even a time when I each here almost everyday.
The pumpkin soup is a must try.
Will be back for photos.
This place has the best truffle pasta and baby back ribs! I always visit the place when im around the area because it has great ambiance as well. ❤️
What a wonderful find in Visayas Ave.! Food's delicious and staff are very friendly, the Chicken Souvlaki and Roti are must-tries, also the Truffle with Salmon pasta! My son loves the Fish & Chips, perfectly cooked, will definitely go back to try the other dishes! Yum Yum! 😍😍😍
Everything in the Menu is consistently good! Their service is superb, and staff are very attentive. Plus restaurant ambience is very pleasant.
Love the Carbonara, taste so good, exact combination of ingredients. The service is good, with attentive crews, neat and clean facility. Ideal for meeting venue.

To be honest, the folks and I decided to hang out here while waiting for our table at the restaurant next door. The place was pretty spacious and had eclectic decor. We just ordered Mozzarella Sticks (Php195) and Nachos (Php180) to tide us over while waiting. Our orders were tasty enough and I was intrigues by the desserts available here. I resolved to try either the Salted Caramel Cheesecake or Vanilla Panna Cotta on my next visit here.
The service is great. They were really attentive with thhe customer's needs. Their pasta dishes are also delicious, unlike other unli pasta promos, every refill is served freshly cooked which makes it a lot more tasty.

Food is excellent. Try their salads. Chef wife salad is excellent. Oliva Burger is one of the best. Pasta dishes is highly recommended. Try the Roti it is excellent. Also, the Indian dishes are authentic. Chef/owner is one of the best chef around.
I had an awesome dining experience with my colleague at this very quaint place.
My review for Oliva:
1. Food (taste, variety & presentation) = 4.5/5
2. Price (Is it worth your money?) = 4.5/5
3. Service (courteousness, promptness, grooming of staff) = 4.5/5
4. Location = 4/5
5. Ambiance (exterior and interior cleanliness, design and facilities) = 4.5/5
All of the food are prepared fresh from the pasta to the salad!😊
I have two mouthwatering words for you .... BUTTER CHICKEN!!!!!
Chef Kannan delivers his dishes with much simplicity yet it's all that you would need to feel satisfied. His Hainanese Chicken brings me back to those hawkers in Singapore. But don't just think Asian, Oliva's beef bourguignon gives those French chefs something to emulate.
Other recommended dishes:
Nachos - great balance of crispy nachos, cheese, salsa and chili beef.
Beef Salpicao - melt-in-your-mouth beef tenderloin served with herbed garlic rice.
Butter Chicken Masala - order it spicy for some nice kick. One rice is not enough so order some more rice or bread to soak up the amazing masala "gravy".
Chicken Souvlaki - grilled chicken kebab skewers with a yogurt sauce. Get the platter with 5 stocks to share for 3 to 4 people or maybe 2 boodle bears.
Vanilla Panna cotta - a creamy dessert perfectly garnished with candied orange peel.
They've got basement parking and the wait staff are friendly and attentive. A real gem in Visayas Avenue.
Dined here a couple of times already and it never disappoints. Food is always on point. A bit overpriced on some dishes, though. But will definitely be back!
The best burger in this side of town. Their pasta is also good. Try their Roti and the side curry sauce it's the bomb... try the pork chops and the chicken teriyaki.... the service is always excellent.
Didn't get to try their Pasta All You Can promo, but we did order the Pasta Oliva and their Carbonara with Chicken and Bacon. It was good, my cousin and I would love to try out their other pastas.
This restaurant is located along Visayas Avenue, the location is just actually near but I haven't been here not until a friend introduced me this restaurant. :)
I tried their Unli Pasta promo. I ordered Carbonara, Tuna Pesto and Penne Mozzarella. :)
I'm a pasta lover I must say and Carbonara is my favorite pasta dish. I tried Carbonara first and I say that it is quite good for a promo. It's creamy and delicious. It comes with a bread also.
Second is the Penne Mozarella. And this dish is for the win. (Although, Carbonara is my favorite. ✌) I recommend this one if you are a cheese lover. They serve generous amount of mozzarella and parmesan cheese. It feels like heaven. You'll definitely love it. 😍
Lastly, I ordered Tuna Pesto. This is also good but I cannot forget the Penne Mozzarella. :D
All of these pasta dishes comes with a bread. All for PHP 269.00, definitely worth it.
And they serve your food real hot and that's a plus point for me. For the drink I ordered Cucumber Mint, it's okay also. Refreshing drink. :)
However, they didn't issue official receipt when I settled my payment. Minus for me.
Over all, my experience is good. Will still go back for the pasta! 👌👍 And probably try another dish. :)
Unli pasta for only 269php?! All I can say is sobrang sulit! We went there on a weekday afternoon and we're the only customers the whole time so solo namin ang place. I thought that there's gon be a buffet of pasta and we'll just get hw many as we want but it's by order pala. So after you finish one plate you have to wait for another 5 mins maybe for em to prepare the next pasta. But the waiting is all worth it. It's served fresh, and tell u what, sobrang sarap. As in sulit. But until july 31 nalang yung promo so better try it before it last
I wonder why you guys disappeared at marcos hiway? Understanding the location problem probably. Why 5? Best pesto pasta ever tasted so far. If only i know the recipe. But. Now i have to drive to your visayas branch which i think has a smaller portion and a bit maalat. But still, best pesto pasta ever tasted so far. Still finding an alternative here in marikina/marcos hiway/c5/katipunan but no luck as of yet my search continues. Hope one day oliva comes back to our area. But if so, a coffee shop ambiance, with cooler airconditioning, would be better, where i can hang out and relax. Til then. Probably once a month i will visit oliva and treat myself to the best pesto pasta ever tasted so far.
There's always a culinary choice when dining out. Do you eat at your tried and tested faves or try out something new? Closer to home, Oliva is a favorite. We've been here many times as it's just 10 minutes away. All our visits are never without our favorite Roti Prata. It's the best, even better than the ones served in authentic Indian restos here and abroad. The Chef's Wife Salad is also a staple. The dressing which I love can now be purchased in jars.
We have dishes that we regularly order like the Teriyaki Chicken, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Salpicao, Grilled Porkchops, Mushroom soup, Buttered Chicken Masala and for dessert, you can never go wrong with the Panna Cotta. But when we're feeling a bit adventurous, we venture towards the pasta dishes. So far, I'm loving the Linguine with Seafood Tomato Cream Sauce.
Never a bad meal here. Parking may be a problem during lunchtime but you can always double park in the basement.
My college friends and I recently had our regular meetups at Oliva Bistro Cafe.
For appetizers, we ordered the Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls and Buffalo Wings. I liked the Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls but I was extremely impressed with the Buffalo Wings. I highly suggest that you try their Buffalo Wings.
For mains, I got Roasted Chicken. The serving is huge enough for 2 persons. I love the flavors of the chicken, but the meat could have been more tender and marinated for a longer time.
For dessert, I got Marble Cheesecake over Brewed Coffee. The Cheesecake was enough to satisfy my sweet cravings.
Overall, we had an amazing time at Oliva. Service is excellent and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. I would love to try their other dishes.
Consistently positive raves reviews from friends got me interested in this small restaurant along Visayas Ave. And the first time I ate there, Oliva did not disappoint at all! Almost everything our group ordered was good -- baby back ribs (tender meat falling off the bones type of ribs), roti with curry, chef's wife salad, and butter chicken masala. The perfect meal ender was a slice of marble cheesecake with strawberry coulis.
Wow! Pasta all you can 245😋😋 grab your car keys pasta lovers and dig in to this wonderful bistro they serve true to goodness pasta with simple dash of olive oil, herbs, walah!
SUPERB TASTE!!!
Good high quality food yet AFFORDABLE! ?
SO WHY GO FAR FROM QC when you can HAVE IT ALL HERE!!!?♥♥♥
Kudos Chef Kannan!??????

My friend invited me to try this resto which serve Asian and Italian food. Food taste is good. I tried their Butter Chicken Masala cooked with Indian Spices. Vanilla Panna Cotta is 2 thumbs up. I love it. The place is quiet and good for small groups
Chef kanan , the owner has great recipes and great cooking in his resto. I particularly like the pastas and salads . I gathered that chef kanan came from a 5 star hotel stint in Singapore. Yes, I go back here so often since the time it started. Prices are not that steep for the quality of food. It does not get so full though the many times I've eaten . I figured out that maybe Oliva is more appropriate to be in an upscale area, Just maybe.

This day marks my first foodie adventure with great people to share it with ❤️ it's surreal 😍 one word to best describe my dining experience here at Oliva Bistro Cafe is •Perfection• everything I tasted was so excruciatingly delicious ( coz I had to control myself not to eat too much ! For me that's torture ! Haha ) Good News !! Oliva Bistro Cafe has two branches one in 8010 Marcos Hway Santolan, Pasig City and in Visayas Avenue unit 101 GF .. QC , they're also having a " Pasta all you can " promo Monday-Sunday 2-6pm :) You must sample their menu guys I'm pretty sure you will be coming back for more 😍
(As of 08-28-15; I changed my mind with their ratings. I just realized that Oliva is nearly perfect with regards to my taste, preference, comfort, need, and convenience...)
Oliva offers the best chicken MASALA in town! You can never go wrong with their Asian dishes. The chicken masala, the shish kebab, homus and pita, etc. Their pastas are likewise great. Balanced flavors and good texture. Pasta oliva, a very simple olive oil-based pasta with capers, tomatoes and olives... is my favorite pasta.
They also have decent western dishes like burgers, baby back and steaks. Their deserts which are also prepared in their kitchen are also good. The cheese cakes, panacota, brownies with ice cream on top, and their latest macarons.
There are actually more to share. I'm simply a happy and satisfied regular since the time they started their business. The chef btw is an Indian who is currently teaching culinary in Manila. He used to work as a chef in Singapore before he met his Filipina wife. That's the reason why the menu is diverse but we'll picked. You will never be worried to bring anyone in this place. (That I can garauntee)
Olivia is a persian x italian with a touch of western cuisine! Pasta is super nice. Especially the pesto. Teriyaki chicken is good but the serving is so bitin!
I have visited Oliva (both Visayas Ave. and Marcos Highway branches) for more than 10 times already and I would say that every visit was an awesome gastronomical experience. One can say I'm a fan. What endears me to this nice and cozy place is not only the great food (which by the way are reasonably priced) but also the top-notch service given by the resto staff (I even have the pleasure to chat with the Chef and his lovely wife during most of my visits).
While I can recommend several dishes like the Osso Bucco, Chicken Tenders, Pasta Oliva, Chef's Wife Salad and Cheesecake), I will never grow tired of ordering Oliva Burger, my favorite Oliva offering without question.
Overall, this resto gets my two thumbs up! I am definitely looking forward to my next visit!
We've started to become a regular here, and so far, everything has been really good! My favorites include Pesto Pasta, Pasta Oliva and Chicken Masala. The cheesecake is really yummy too.
The variety of the menu is really interesting, and we're making it a point not to order anything a second time until we've tried everything!
If you're a fan of small cafes, those that do not get crowded and too noisy, this is the place for you! The staff are very friendly and attentive too.
I really love the ambiance in this place. It does not get too crowded. Another plus is that they have everything!!! Kid friendly meals, Asian flavors, Western dishes, Indian specialties, some seafood selections, pasta and sandwiches and DESSERTS! so far we've only tried a couple of dishes but it has never disappointed us. Note to parents: their mozzarella sticks is a hit to my 7 y/o. :)
Came here for late dinner. We had the hainanese steamed chicken, roti prata with curry, and beef caldereta--ALL GOOD!
Great menu selection + friendly staff (a bit loud) + reasonable price. Overall, it's a nice neighborhood restaurant that I would definitely visit again. :)
First time to hear about Oliva was from this branch, but I got the chance to dine at another location which is way nearer our place so please also create another post for your Marcos Highway location - value for your money, less crowd, efficient service and a more convenient location for the East people! Chef's wife salad is one of the best I had so far. Also the pasta servings literally are good to share. So excited to try almost all on the menu. Cheryl Cobar
If you live in QC, or you're just paying a visit, it is imperative that you try this place. There's nothing too fancy about the interior nor the service, just olive trees painted on the walls and the usual on-their-toes waiters, but it's got Italian, Indian, and Western dishes all in one place. There's something for everyone here. You should try the Pesto Crusted Baked Salmon with Pasta Oliva. I love it. I dream about it on my bed many hours after dinner. And you must understand that I only enjoy meat that used to go moo or oink. You also must try the (walang-sabit) Oliva Burger, the Chicken Souvlaki, the Pesto Pasta, the lasagna, the curries and the salads. Wait. You should try everything on the menu. They also sell party-sizedtrays for almost anything they feature. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 is because they take a lot of time to perfect your dishes, so your food comes a tad bit later than it usually does to serve something similar in another place. So here's an advice: lay your hunger to rest for the comfort food you deserve; go to Oliva.
I always come back here.
Comfort food that is simple but still special.
Try the pasta there with salmon and the hainanese chicken. You can even ask for more broth.
It's rare to find a restaurant serving Indian, Italian, Singaporean, and Filipino food all in one place. Rarer still to find such a place along Visayas Avenue in Quezon City. Oliva Bistro Cafe is such a place.
The reason behind Oliva Bistro Cafe's diverse menu is Chef Kannan, who comes from India, trained in classic Italian cuisine, worked in Singapore, and married to a Filipina. This diversity brings the best of each cuisine in the different dishes served by Chef Kannan and his wife Denden, with each dish remaining true to its origins. No fusion dishes here. Conventional wisdom often dictates the need to be focused and single-minded in an increasingly competitive culinary landscape, but here at Oliva Bistro Cafe, one is encouraged to experience the culinary journey of the husband and wife team as they serve the different dishes they love from different culinary regions.
Start with some traditional Roti Prata with Curry Sauce to get you in the groove. Then go for the Chef's Wife Salad, a refreshing salad with crisp romaine, tender grilled chicken, caramelized walnuts, sweet mangoes and grapes in a tangy dill dressing. Then, there's the Buffalo Wings with Blue Cheese Dip, Chef Kannan's take on something familiar, erfectly crisp on the outside, tender and juicy inside with a sweet and spicy glaze. Then go for the signature mains, like the Butter Chicken Masala, boneless tender chicken breast cooked in Indian spices with tomato and butter sauce. For a heftier meal, go for the Osso Bucco Milanese, a classic Italian beef shank stew.
Great food, great value. And when you find yourself along Visayas Avenue, take a second look and check it out.

Oliva Bistro Cafe is located on Visayas Avenue in Quezon City, and area I'm not overly familiar with as I rarely venture there. The Club was invited to try out the food so on a rainy Friday night, we trooped there. I was surprised at busy Visayas Avenue, teeming with a mix of residential and commercial places.
Oliva is owned Chef Kannan Jayaprakash Sreedevi and his wife, Eden Madridejos-Kannan. Chef Kannan worked for a number of years in a luxury hotel in Singapore. His training is really evident in the eclectic mix of cuisines from American, Italian, Singaporean, Indian, and of course, Filipino that Oliva serves. The place remind one of the coffee shops at most hotels.
We started off with some appetizers.
Vietnamese Style Fresh Spring Rolls - Fresh tasting with just the right balance of noodles to vegetables. Nice and light starter to get the taste buds just right.
Buffalo Wings - Tangy with a bit of spicy kick that's just right, suitable for those with low tolerance to spice since even Irene could take it. I actually was not expecting much but this compares favorably well with our current favorite from Mad Mark's.
Roti Prata with Curry Sauce - Roti has become one of our favorites, ever since we were first introduced to it by my cousin in Singapore. Soft and chewy perfectly yet very flavorful, you can even eat it by itself but of course a dip in curry would greatly enhance the taste.
Tandoori Chicken Tikka - You've got to love it when they make chicken boneless, makes eating them so much more convenient. This Indian dish is served with coriander chutney and yoghurt raita.
New England Clam Chowder - Nicely presented in a somewhat over sized mug with a piece of bread stick on the side. The soup was creamy yet had a number of pieces of clams inside. I would have wanted more, but thats just my love for clams .
Baked Salmon Fillet - I choose a pesto crust but you can also have it cheese crusted.I had it served with Pasta Oliva, their signature house pasta with sun dried tomatoes, garlic and of course olives.
Steamed Chicken Rice was what my wife picked. She was excited to eat it that before I knew it, she had eaten half of it. She's been thinking of it for a couple of weeks now, planning on a return trip just for this.
Osso Bucco Milanese - A dominant piece of bone takes the center stage in this classic Italian beef stew. Tangy tomato sauce enveloping fork tender pieces of beef. This made me wish I had ordered a cup of rice to sop up the sauce.
Baked Prawns with Cheese and Garlic Cream - The shrimp was a bit overcooked for me.
Vanilla Panna Cotta with Candied Orange Peel and Honey - A creamy dessert thats still light because of the added gelatin. The honey and orange peels gave it a bit of sweetness.
Halo-Halo - We could not decipher why this halo halo was so good but Irene and I finished it in record time despite the not so smooth crushed ice.
Oliva Bistro Cafe is perfect for the whole family with different dishes catering to every whim and fancy. Prices are value for money, while service is solid. This is the perfect neighborhood restaurant every place needs, where you can just go and be assured of good food.
