Little Quiapo has the best pancit palabok I ever tasted at an affordable price to boot. The halo-halo is also delicious. The waiters are always around to serve you should you want more.

Growing up near the area, this restaurant brings back a lot of childhood memories, after church meals and random meriendas.

They are no longer in their OG spot but food remains the same. Simple, delicious and will remind you of home's cooking.

Best sellers are their palabok and halo halo so don't skip these. I have eaten here way too many times that my review will be too long if I describe everything I have tasted over the years.

If you are in the QC area, make sure to drop by either for a merienda or a full meal, you won't be disappointed.

This has been our familys go to place when we're craving for the quintessential pinoy dessert halo-halo. I remember going at their old location at Matalino street QC. when I was a kid with my father and siblings and we would just order halo-halo and palabok then leave with happy faces and tummy.
They now moved to Malakas street in the same area but still serves the same good quality food. I know they're known for halo-halo and pancit palabok but their mais con yelo is also very good. They serve it with leche flan and vanilla ice cream on top. The amount of corn they put is almost half the glass so you'll get a lot of it.

The place is indeed homey :) Tried their palabok, boneless chicken, boneless bangus, kare-kare, pork sisig, special halo-halo, chopsuey.

Palabok is great! Sauce-y but not salty! Kare-kare is also great. Just the right taste! Halo-halo is expensive considering its taste.

These noods would really wake your morning buds up up and a way 😊 This legendary palabok from little quiapo is an example of food made with love. You can really taste all the flavor from its sauce upto the noods. All foods we ordered were super yum! And the service was great too! Love this restaurant since my lola was one of those little quiapo palabok addicts 🤗

Good serving size for the price. Palabok is to die for (I'm not much of a fan of Palabok but theirs is an exception) Place is packed when we arrived (around lunch time) but the serving time didn't take too long

If you're on the lookout for the oldest restaurants in Manila, this is where you should start. Opened in 1949, Little Quiapo serves traditional Filipino dishes that will surely satisfy and delight you. I highly recommend trying out their Palabok, Tokwa't Baboy, and Halo-halo.

Best Palabok in the country! Bihon guisado is also good as well as their Kare-kare. Though I find their other native cuisine quite expensive.

Little Quiapo which used to be a small eatery opened its first branch inside the University of the Philippines in 1949. On September 18th 2018, the restaurant celebrated its 69th year.
For a restaurant to achieve that milestone, it only means one thing. They’re doing things right from the food all the way to the service.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that their BURGER STEAK was AWESOMMMMEEE!!!!!! It’s such a big serving but you can finish it! Plus the taste of the palabok is very authentic!! Like, you can really taste quality in their dishes! So of course, we ordered the Halo halo(make it special so it can have an ice cream
on top!) it’s one of the best so far but when you consume half of it... you’ll start to feel the umay and you’ll taste how sweet it is... so I recommend that you order one first if you are with your Labidabi! 😉

Been eating here since i was 5yo i think. My mama loves this place, she always orders palabok and toasted bread. since my mama has passed on, everytime i miss my mama, i visit this place to eat and i always order the same dish that my mama loves. Recently was in the area and i was so hungry so i decided to eat here, since it was lunch i had to eat rice, i ordered kare-kare which is my fave, but i was disappointed. It wont stop me visiting this place specially when i miss my mama but will stick to my usual palabok and toasted bread.

Oh oh, one time i was craving their palabok, i was with my son and my husband. My son only eats jollibee, kahit saang resto kami pumunta, he will only eat jollibee he wont eat anything on the menu of the resto that were at, jollibee lang talaga. so anyways, walang jollibee in the area so i ordered their spag, and my son ate the spag! I tasted it and it was good.

Good thing about this place, they have loyal employees. Bata pa lang ako, sila na yung waiters, i dont know if they remember me, but i surely remember their face.

Also be ready for the wait. Resto is always full. Theres always a long line to be seated. So most of the times i take out. But definitely a must place to visit.

I grew up eating Little Quiapo's Pancit Palabok and Halo-Halo. Maybe because there was no other choice back then. But now that options are a dime a dozen, I still go back to, as they say, to the "original." To the brand that started it all (well, that's me speaking).

One day when my young nephew with his mom (my sister) came home to visit his grandparents, happily informed me of his new job. I goaded him to buy us meryenda. Quickly, he was up on his feet and excitedly asked, "Where, ninong?"

I blurted out with "Halo-halo." And within minutes, we were on the road to Malakas Street. We ordered three Halo-Halo while I excitedly recounted the "history" of the brand and how it set the bar in appreciating food of people my age, most especially, Palabok and Halo-Halo.

It's sad that there are only two branches of Little Quiapo, as I write this. On the happy side, I think by deciding on operating only on two stores they can focus on keeping the Little Quiapo food quality high and yes, keeping that Little Quiapo mystique.

📌 Little Quiapo is the place for gatherings and dates may it be lunch or dinner! Went here for the first time with my boyfriend and we ordered Palabok and Ice cream. Our tummies were so full we weren't able to talk after eating. 🤣 Second time going here last June. Treated my father and brother for lunch. The food here is everything! I like their Kare-Kare and Chopseuy. I was so curious about the Camaron but was disappointed when I ate it. Overall, Little Quiapo feels like home.

Had an early lunch here and ordered the following:

- Pancit Palabok
- Adobong Puso ng Saging
- Pork Sisig
- Grilled Tanigue Steak
- Burger House Steak
- Fiesta Halo-halo

We enjoyed everything but my faves will have to be their puso ng saging, burger steak and sisig.  We almost always order puso ng saging if it's in the menu, because we find it hard to prep at home.  LQ's version has bits of meat and with that perfect 'sarap-asim' taste you'd want in an adobo.  The burger steak is beefy and their gravy is full of flavor, you'll crave more rice to go with it.  Their sisig is a no-nonsense mix of just pork (lean meat, fat and liver), onions and pepper; no egg nor chicharon as other restaurants have.  But we liked it just fine.  They do have calamansi and condiments on the table, in case you want to season it more.

LQ's claim to fame is their palabok and halo-halo.  Palabok is good and generously topped with the sauce and all sorts of toppings (egg, chicharon, squid, tokwa(?), spring onions).  At around P100, it's the cheapest dish in our table.  But I wanted more of the tinapa flavor that I love in a palabok/malabon sauce.  As for the fiesta halo-halo, you'll get a glass filled with shaved ice with ube ice cream, halaya, leche flan, barkilyos and ALL ingredients present in a traditional halo-halo -- it's huge/filling enough for 2 people to share as an after-meal treat.  It has the right level of sweetness (no need to request for additional milk/sugar) and the ice blends easily with the rest of the ingredients.  It was the perfect ending to our delicious meal. At P160 each, it was more expensive than other restos, though.

We'll most likely skip the tanigue steak next time.  It's also delicious, but at over P400, I expect more.  Will probably try the rellenong bangus or blue marlin salpicao instead.

We were here a little over 10am so there's ample parking space available.  Ambiance is old school, predominantly decorated with wooden furnishings, w/c my parents loved.  Service is okay, too.  We were greeted in and out of the restaurant, and were served efficiently.  They also sell pasalubong goodies just outside the restaurant.

Been here several times already. My recent visit was in July 5, right after my laboratory examination (near the area) to eat early dinner with my mom. We ordered: Calamari and Palabok. Their palabok is very tasty! I must say, it was the best palabok i’ve ever try. (Note: Sa mga palabok restaurants lang po na aking ding nabisita na.) Nothing special with their Calamari, tho.

During our last visit (way back late last year?! 😅), we tried their Kalderetang baka and it’s so yummy, super lambot ng baka. (Sana ganun pa din ngayon.)

Staffs were attentive and courteous. More power, Little Quiapo! 😊

My favorite restaurant in the entire Metro manila! I love everything about this restaurant! Their sisig is the bomb! I love the kare kare, calamares and also the garlic kangkong. I always bring my family and friends in here! I have celebrated most of my special occasions in here (my birthdays, my parent's birthdays and even my grandparent's birthday) All the staffs were very accommodating and they even know me by my name (because i'm a regular customer) When I ask them for calamansi/chili they will give me like 10pcs because they know how much I love calamansi and chili.

To make it short, This is the best restaurant ever and the service is superb!

Little Quiapo is that Filipino restaurant you overlook, simply because you’re drawn to newer and hip-er establishments. But the fact that it’s been around for almost 70 years is testament to the fact that it’s been serving good food to discerning foodies the world, er, metro over, all this time. It’s a shame that it’s only my second time to visit this quaint spot in a quiet street in Diliman. The first time? I didn’t even glance at the menu and just ordered Halo Halo.
By my second visit, I knew they were famous for their Pancit Palabok, Kare Kare, and Halo Halo - all strong contenders in Manila’s top Pinoy food favorites. LQ’s Kare Kare was even featured in Food Channel’s Food Wars just last year. But it came as a shock to me how extensive their menu is!

Our group of Zomato babies were treated to a feast and were served their all-time favorites:

Kare Kare (Php 387) – Mildly peanut-ty and savory with tenderly cooked ox tail, not to mention their own concoction of bagoong, this dish compels one to order a second, and maybe even a third serving of rice.

Rellenong Bangus (Php 300) – The wonderfully crispy skin is the perfect partner to the meaty interior.

Lumpiang Shanghai (Php 204) – Bang for your buck for a plate can serve 4-5 pax.

Kawali Cobb Salad (Php 275) – The perfect Pinoy version for its crispy and savory meat – the slightly tangy dressing lent the dish a nice tart flavor.

Little Quiapo Club Sandwich (Php 158) – Prepared Monte-Cristo style, it gives the normal club sandwich a rich twist. I like how it’s served with homemade potato chips.

Chicken Potato Salad (Php 194) – Nothing can ever go wrong with the classic chicken potato salad – the perfect balance of sweet and savory.

Pancit Palabok (Php 605, X-Large, 10 pax) – I don’t know about you, but I prefer my palabok served with a chockfull of meat: seafood, egg slices, pork bits, and chicharon. I love how LQ does not scrimp on its toppings. And if you’re left wanting for more, you can definitely order more “sahog.”

Sotanghon Guisado (Php 1,190, X-Large, 10 pax) – Among all the dishes we were served, this is my favorite. I loved how the noodles sopped up the meaty broth – it elevated the dish to a whole new level. And again, no scrimping of ingredients here, you’re assured to get plenty of “sahog” in every bite.

Blue Marlin Salpicao (Php 350) – A winner in my book. Cooked perfectly, no fishy smell nor taste to turn off diners.

Burger House Steak (Php 281) – Another sizzling dish favorite. The thick and beefy bacon-wrapped patty topped with fried egg and homemade gravy is sure to satisfy those who prefer a heavy meal. Be prepared to order a second heaping of rice.

Pork Spareribs (Php 274) – The strip of meat is almost as long as the sizzling plate it’s served on. It comes with just the right amount of barbecue sauce – enough not to drown the grilled meaty goodness.

Tokwa’t Baboy (Php 199) – The serving is good for 2-3 pax. And one will be pleased to learn that the pork serving is almost all meat with just enough fat to lend the dish a rich taste. It’s also satisfying that you get to pour the sauce yourself.

Fiesta Halo Halo (Php 150) – A wonderful ending to a satisfying meal! LQ’s Halo Halo is the right balance of milky shaved ice and all the sweet mix-ins one can think of. And the huge dollop of ube ice cream is just the “cherry” on top! (Yes, there’s a maraschino cherry on top of the ice cream, along with big spoonfuls of leche flan and ube jam. Oh and there’s a Barquillos roll too!)

Ube Shake (Php 119) – Not cloyingly sweet and if you’re an ube fan, you’ll be pleased to know that it’s topped with a generous serving of ube halaya!

All these tasty dishes cloud the fact that the establishment has seen better days. But come to think of it, it’s also what gives Little Quiapo its charm. Not unlike dining at your favorite eatery. It’s also noteworthy that they have ample space for parking.

Tip: if you’re very hungry, order in advance, or come early in the morning, as the place can be very crowded from 10:00 A.M. onwards. We went here upon the invitation of the owners, it was already past lunchtime, but it took the kitchen staff a long while before completing the food setup. The servers were all accommodating, friendly, and attentive despite the packed restaurant.

We went to Little Quiapo Quezon City branch to have some palabok and halo-halo. The place is still the same since I dined last year. It’s very casual set-up with a classic vibes of the place.

The palabok noodles tasted really good. It has a consistency of flavors, whether the sauce is thick or saucy. The halo-halo was very classic. It feels like my mom made it. Maybe they could improved the texture of the ice.

The staff were very accommodating. And they served fast.

Little did they know, Little Quiapo isn't situated in Quiapo - quite the most common trivial question that baffle the diners - I did ask that myself though nonetheless, the owner was there to explain the story behind it. Impressively, Little Quiapo has been around for several decades where my parents and I haven't been born yet and all throughout those years, they have developed their wide array of pinoy comfort foods from the classic "ulams" or viands to "meryendas" or afternoon snacks and not only that, they were also selling Pinoy "pasalubong" or souvenir items. It is no wonder there seemed to be a lot of regulars or patrons dining at the resto so this made our visit more interesting.

So we had some of their latest offers - the Kawali Cobb Salad, Little Quaipo Club Sandwich, and Chicken Potato Salad. Perfect starters to pump up your stomach. I've tried different meats combined with the salad but this is my first to try Lechon Kawali - very interesting. The sandwich has a crunchy texture on the outside coz it's fried and that makes it unique. The Chicken Potato Salad is common but still appetizing. The main dishes I tried were the Kare Kare, Rellenong Bangus and Lumpiang Shanghai. Seeing these dishes makes me feel like I was at home. My personal favorite was the Kare Kare - delicious and filling. There's a huge serving on each plate so we definitely had a feast!

The journey would not be complete without us having tried their famous Pancit Palabok and the Special Halo Halo. Although I am already full, it didn't stop my craving for the all time favorite pinoy dessert and pinoy snack. The palabok has a generous amount of sauce and toppings so you can just savour the rich and scrumptious flavors as well as the halo halo that is overflowing and a great end to cleanse off my palate.

Overall, I did enjoy my dining experience at Little Quiapo. Great service and value for money. Definitely worth coming back. Kudos!

Went here for the first time on a Sunday evening. It was packed and took a long time to be seated. Took that as a good sign since good food is worth the wait.

We ordered Kare-kare, breaded chicken, chopseuy, and of course, halo-halo. Kare-kare is so so but serving is gracious. Breaded chicken and chopseuy is too salty. Halo-halo did not disappoint. The ube ice cream, and I hate ube ice cream, was delish! Leche flan was heavenly!

Ample parking space and clean rest room. Staff are all friendly and courteous but serving time is really slow. But can't blame them since place was packed.

Little Quiapo was named Little Quiapo not because it is geographically located in Quiapo, Manila. Years ago when Quiapo was the main place for people go to, this restaurant had a different name but people refer to it as little Quiapo with the volume of people who visit the place.

Being known for their Pancit Palabok, Special Halo-Halo and Ube Shake, we order those including the following:

Sotanghon Guisado - The sotanghon was not soggy but the dish itself is not dried either. Just the right consistency with the abundant ingredients put in it

Kare Kare - Traditional creamy Kare Kare with yummy bagoong!

Rellenong Bangus - Goodies wrapped with Milkfish Skin

Lumpiang Shanghai - Meaty and crunchy, need I say more?

Kawali Cobb Salad - Generous serving of lechon kawali, like it's nice and naughty. The homemade vinaigrette complemented the greens

Little Quiapo Club Sandwich - Sandwich which was dipped in egg then deeply fried.

Chicken Potato Salad  - The potatoes are soft but has an edgy taste, yummy!

All in all the experience deserves a repeat. We even went back for their 50% discount on all noodles last Sept 18 and even with the volume, they still are able to live up to my expectations!

Little quiapos extensive menu of both new and food weve grown up with will surely please anybody. Alhough they are known for their excellent (excellent!) pancit, i discovered some new items worth trying during my visit. They now have a litson kawali salad that is an appetizer, but i didnt mind having as the meal itself. Their old school potato salad brought back memories of what my grandma makes, and the ube shake was the perfect drink on a warm day.

Offering delicious Filipino food for more than 6 decades, Little Quiapo is definitely a place not to be missed if you're looking for traditional servings of our favorite Pinoy dishes. With years of experience under their belt, it is no doubt that you will only get the best dishes from this homy restaurant.

I was able to try most of their dishes, and some of my favorites were the Palabok and the Sotanghon Guisado. Both dishes boast flavorful sauces with a hefty amount of toppings, something that I really enjoyed. Their Club Sandwich, which is inspired by Croque Monsieur, is also outstanding. It's tasty and they're not the one to shy away from putting generous fillings.

If you're someone who loves to eat a loaded halo-halo, Little Quiapo's version is one that you cannot miss. Overflowing with your favorite halo-halo ingredients like kaong, nata de coco, and leche flan, it surely is a great way to end a satisfying Pinoy meal.

Ratings
Food: A (generous servings, tasty dishes, and overall a satisfying meal)

Price: B (reasonably priced)

Ambiance: B (homey; reminiscent of ancestral houses and old restaurants from back in the day)

Service: A (friendly servers)

Location: B (located at the back of Diliman's busy streets; not hard to find but it's not something that you'll see unless you're looking for it)

Verdict: Great place for family dinners and celebrations. Little Quiapo would also be an ideal restaurant for Balikbayans who missed their favorite Pinoy comfort food.

Right at the back of the busy streets of Diliman lies Little Quiapo, one of the oldest food institutions around the metro. Over the years they have continually served great food to its patrons. And since this is right at the back of the business district of QC, people are in and out of this place. We tried out some of their dishes and here's what I can recommend:

Pancit Palabok (varies upon size of order) - They used sotanghon noodles on their take on the dish. They never skimped out the toppings. This will always be a treat for me wherever LQ it is.

Kare-kare (387.00 php) - Used Ox Tail on the dish for the authenticity. A special mention to the bagoong included as it creates a great impact to the dish. A definite must order when dropping by.

Sotanghon Guisado (208.00 php) - Another noodle dish that I surely enjoyed. If you want an alternative for Palabok then this is your best bet.

Little Quiapo Club Sandwich (158.00 php) -  It's a different take to the usual Clubhouse Sandwich. Sandwich dipped in egg then deep fried. Sinfully delicious... period...

Ube Shake (119.00 php) - I urged my fellows to try this one because I can attest to on how good this is. They were not disappointed, it was great as usual.

It is always a treat to dine in at Little Quiapo, and it gets better. On Sept. 18, 50% off for all noodle dishes. Take note of this and line up at Little Quiapo. But take note, lines get really far by morning so plan ahead.

"Rendezvous" was the former name of Little Quiapo. Per Martin Caleon (owner)  during the postwar era, the western influence was largely felt and seen on the culinary and cultural landscape of the country. Thus the name choice.

However, it was likened by most patrons to Quiapo due to the foot traffic and how busy and crowded it was at all times of the day , just like the famed town of Manila. Thus the name stuck and the iconic "Little Quiapo " was born.

Fast forward 67 years later on Sept 18, Little Quiapo in Diliman and BF Homes Paranaque amaze with its staying power. And no wonder, theirs is the ultimate definition of Pinoy comfort food and excellent service.

We were there at their Diliman branch yesterday and we experienced first hand how the young Caleon brothers personally served its loyal patrons ie providing the plates, serving the orders themselves, attending to all our requests and other tables as well. How refreshing to see how humble, low key , patient and cheerful they were in looking after everyone's needs.

We were also served the following dishes :

Classic Pancit Palabok XL for 10 people P605 - brought back memories of the days when I used to live in BF

Special Halo Halo P130 -- sorry Razon's, I like my halo halo loaded with lots of leche flan, kaong, ube, banana, nata, etc. Little Quiapo is still the ultimate peg as far as Im concerned when it comes to halo halo.

Sotanghon Guisado short order P208 - I just love all pancits from LQ. I cant wait to return on September 18 to buy all of their pansit at 50% discount. Yay!

Kare Kare P387 - The sauce was made from scratch. My palate did not discern any corn starch slurry. The oxtail I got was soft and melt in your mouth. The bagoong (shrimp paste) was to die for. 3 cups of rice please

Rellenong Bangus P300 - so like my dearly departed mom-in-law's delicious home cooked relleno. Sarap!

Lumpiang Shanghai P204 - no surprise here . It is the classic shanghai that should be the peg for all shanghais

New Dishes:

Kawali Cobb Salad P275 - loved the different texture and the unique lechon sauce vinaigrette

Little Quiapo Club Sandwich P158 - Inspired by Croque Monsieur. It was clubhouse sandwiched dipped in egg then deep fried. Delicious. My new favorite

Chicken Potato Salad P194 - perfect paired with LQ Club Sandwich.

Drinks :

Ube Shake P119 - tasted like LQ halo halo without the halo. Looked so prett too with its purple color and halaya on top. Yum!

Banana Shake P112 - would rather have it as saba con hielo

Green Mango Freeze P104 - perfect balance of tangy, sour and sweetness. Will definitely order this again

Strawberry Shake P112 - tasted like liquid strawberry icecream. Delish!

Summary :

Consistently delicious classic offerings, adaptability to new concepts, impeccable service, reasonably priced meals, 3rd generation at the helm, etc -- I see 100 years more of LQ in the future.

Definitely returning with the piggery in tow on September 18. Will take advantage of their 50% discount and buy the family some bilaos of their delectable pansit palabok

We were in the area so we did not hesitate to eat here again. My parents were both talking about how the food tasted, qualitywise. It was the same since they frequented this restaurant in the past.

We had blue marlin teriyaki. It was very fresh and was marinated well. It was also bursting with so much flavor. The palabok, had so much sauce and ingredients. Their halo-halo is one of the best in the metropolis. We were happy!

However, due to the enclosed dining area, there was a stale smell lingering. I hope the management can remedy this soon.

We ordered the Classic Palabok, Tokwa, Sweet & Sour Fish, and Halo-Halo. The palabok and halo-halo are our stapples when eating here so they tasted good as usual. The tokwa and sweet & sour fish tasted ok as well - though nothing special about the flavors. A decent place to go to when you're craving for traditional Filipino dishes.

What I didn't like though is that the place wasn't very clean and it was a bit noisy when we visited.

We always pass by this little restaurant in Diliman for years and it's usually full of people. Now we know why. Their food is really good! Their kare-kare is very flavorful even the bagoong that comes with it. Their price vs the amount of food you get is commendable too. They are also known for their halo-halo. Although one order is a little pricier than in other restaurants, it won't fail to satisfy your halo-halo cravings because each glass has more than enough ingredients. The only downside of the place is that their space is small so it gets full really quick, there's not much parking space, and their structure and furnitures inside are old. Their place needs a little renovation.

Little Quiapo is among the most revered restaurants from the old days. My mom always tells us that they’ve eaten here before and the foods still taste as good. People of all ages frequent Little Quiapo. It has most likely attracted new-generation loyal customers too. It’s quite near our home so we’ve been here a couple of times before. It’s just along Mabilis St. in Diliman, Quezon City. It’s not that difficult to find. There’s a rocky parking space enough for a few cars. There are attendant/s who could help you out with your parking since the parking area is quite small. It’s quite an effort though if your car is on the inner part if the parking space is full and you have to leave.

One of my favorite restaurants when Im craving for palabok and halo halo. What I love about this place is that they are consistent. The food was still good for the longest time, the place was still great, and the servers were still efficient. They also have a booth for pasalubongs 😘

Far from today's trendy, artsy, and hipster restos, Little Quiapo cares little about aesthetics and focuses more on the quality of their oldschool Filipino dishes that are reminiscent of the streets of Manila back in the 80s. Your parents will love it here, and so will you.

The place is simple, service is quick, and there's nothing complicated about the menu. Just pure, unadulterated, delicious Filipino dishes that hit the spot every single time. And it won't burn a hole in your wallet either.

Best sellers are Palabok and Halo-Halo, but I also highly recommend their Kalderetang Baka and Kare-Kare. Can't go wrong with this one.

I have been going to Little Quiapo since childhood. Back in the day, it was an old soda fountain shop which had a very 50s vibe.

These days, I still frequent Little Quiapo for their halohalo and pancit luglug (Palabok) for the nostaligia. I've tried other dishes before, but they weren't anything to really come back for.

The place itself is no longer a soda fountain style shop and can be a little dirty.

But they've been around since 1949 so they must be doing something right.

Something kind of fun is that I get to practice speaking Capampangan with the wait staff. My mother is Pampangueno so I know just a tad bit of the language.

TIP: Meryenda is the most crowded time of day. It can be pretty difficult to get parking and seating at this time. Try coming in a little before 330pm or after 5pm if you don't like waiting.

You have got to try their halo halo when you visit here. Nice interior design but too crowded. It took some time to be seated in this restaurant.

Their palabok is a staple in our impromptu family gatherings. What's great is that they have a non-pork option for us Muslims. Plus, the lady behind the counter is friendly and knows her stuff. All you have to say to her is that you don't eat pork because you're Muslim when you order, and she'll go to the kitchen window to tell the staff about your special order.

Palabok is my favorite Filipino noodle dish, and Little Quiapo's is the best I've had. The sauce is flavorful and clean-tasting. The palabok is loaded with toppings. You are assured of getting a piece of squid, shrimp, or egg with every forkful.

Price-wise, it's at par with other palabok specialty restaurants - so it's really a good deal when you think about how loaded it is with toppings.

I've never had a chance to dine in, but the place is cozy, dimly-lit and tastefully decorated. Tables are close to each other, so it might get a bit too noisy for a quiet conversation during peak hours.

Had lunch here with family because I wanted to try their kare-kare after seeing it on Food Wars Asia. I understand why it lost to Serye; it was kind of nakakasawa/nakakaumay after a while. It was also sweet and I was getting more of the sugar than the ground peanuts. It's pretty ordinary, better kare kare can be had in numerous other restos.

We also ordered the pinalutong na bangus which is just crispy fried bangus, the crispy pata which it's skin got hard after awhile, and the camaron rebosado had a thick coating of batter that wasn't the best. The pancit bihon was very good, as well as the sauteed kangkong. Unfortunately we had no more room for dessert, so we'll definitely come back here for their famous palabok and halo halo.

Space is really cramped, service is typical of busy restaurants (like Emerald).

Little Quiapo's #Arrozcaldo taste great good for the hungry tummies. Another best seller of the restaurant is #Pancit which got a different kind of flavor. Rainy days or not Little Quiapo's food will definitely have you comforted and also energized.

I haven't eaten yet in Quiapo. However, according to my Mom, Quiapo was a food haven during her college days in the 1950s. It's no surprise then, that this restaurant is so called because it serves authentic Filipino dishes, reminiscent of the ones encountered during those times. It's no surprise, too, that this place is almost always full, a testament that people really enjoy the food. The halo-halo is a frequent order in every table, so is the palabok. Interestingly, a vendor selling suman and tamalis is present right outside the restaurant's entrance, and loyal customers regularly drop by to buy these stuff.

Experience great Filipino food here at Little Quiapo. They have the best Halo-halo in Manila, if not the Philippines. The ingredients are of good quality and level of sweetness is just right. During this visit, we also tried their sisig, tokwa con tokwa, bangus sinigang, pansit bihon and calamares. While all our orders taste excellent, I would highly recommend their tokwa con tokwa and pork sisig. The service is also great. Only challenge I have is the queue during peak hours especially on weekends.

What could be more familiar in this neighborhood than this favorite family spot! The original Little Quiapo was located in the corner of Matalino and Matatag Streets, my hometown. I remember it to be the only restaurant in the vicinity, making it the usual place where families meet during special occasions and after school ceremonies such as my graduation from kinder, 1st communion, grade school graduation, and high school graduation. Yes, this place has witnessed so many milestones in the lives of my schoolmates and the villagers alike.
Note however that people come to LQ not only because it's the only restaurant in the area but mainly because they serve really good Filipino comfort dishes. Service is also satisfactory and from what I recall, the price was reasonable.
Since they moved to their current location, the old feel of a wide al fresco dining in the corner of busy streets with prompt and friendly "elder looking" waiters have gone. The setting now is a little cramped in the aircon dining area, some outdoor seats are still provided, and the waiters have been "modernized" (no longer very friendly and during peak hours, you may have to be extra patient in waiting to be served).
What has remained LQ's trademark over decades was the incomparable quality of its pancit palabok (the best!), special halo-halo, and mais con yelo.
Give LQ a try and enjoy Filipino cuisine served by one of the country's institutional restaurants.

Love their palabok! :) It's my favorite of all palaboks. People also say to try the special halo-halo. It's all right. It's a yummy snack during the summer. But the palabok... :)

If you are looking for authentic Filipino dishes that are not too pricey and fancy, Little Quiapo is the place for you. I tried the palabok and kare kare dishes and I loved it! The servings are also big enough to keep make your tummy happy :)

This summer, a must-try is their halo halo. Right now, I'm on my way back to this quaint restaurant to get my serving of their halo halo and palabok :D

Even before the Diliman branch, Little Quiapo has been a family favorite because of its old Kamuning branch. We used to just walk going there if we craved for fried chicken, lomi, palabok, and haluhalo. Till now, any time we crave for any of the above, Little Quiapo is always on of the top choices.

Best noodles dishes in Quezon City (especially during their special day when prices drop big time - I just can't seem to remember when it was)

I have been coming to Little Quiapo since 1997. One of my party mates kinda owned the place and I was hearing a lot of buzz about it

I love all the noodle dishes of Little Quiapo. I love the sisig of course and chopsuey rice, adobo rice and kare kare rice.

The price already had a premium before but I always just reminded myself that the premium was going to the family of my friend so that made me less concerned about it.

When I was working at a hospital near Little Quiapo, I always made it a point to eat here every week.

It was always busy during lunch time due to all the people from city hall, SSS and other nearby offices.

I prefer to come here during afternoon merienda to admire the rustic and elegant store and the tasty dishes.

Will I recommend Little Quiapo? Yes!

Will I come back and enjoy Little Quiapo with my family and friends? Yes!
