Thankful for the grape escape event and recommending it to all wine enthusiast. The cheese platter was generous and the wine selections were carefully selected. The venue was spectacular (though the parking may be limited but they still make provisions to make it easier) and the service was great. In conclusion, ill be back again and again!!!! Thanks!!!!

Oui, oui! Une cuisine incroyable. You are so enough. In a year I've had dinner three times and ordered "too" much each time, but there's no law in taking to go. The presentation is wonderful and you are treated as if you're the only people in the restaurant.

Of course I always dress in one of my finest Huntsman Savile Row suit and it's a joy wither with someone or alone. I will see you again soon when this plague is over.

I came to this place twice. The first time I had the six-course menu and the second time I had the nine-course one. The ambience of the place is really unique because it’s private and romantic. The food was presented really well, looked fancy and gourment. The taste however was not superb. I don’t remember a dish that I especially loved, but nothing tasted bad either. If you want a place to have a quiet romantic dinner, try this place out! Perhaps the whole dining experience will make this worth the try 😊

An intimate place for a romantic dinner. The place is situated in an isolated spot in Horseshoe, which makes you forget that you are in the bustling Metro Manila.

There are limited seats (could be less than 30) hence calling for reservation is recommended. We were lucky to get a seat at the Veranda with a nice view of the gardens. The servers are polite and can actually pronounce the French food being served!

We ordered the 6-course tasting menu, to avoid having to think what to order. Selection is good, and although other restaurants offer more tasty and complex dégustation menu, P1,685 is really not bad for the experience and the ambiance.

Lemuria has a wide selection of wines; however there’s only one available by the glass during our visit. Good thing the Romanian Fetească neagră well complemented the Chicken Roulade main which came with the dégustation.

Overall a good experience!

Beautiful place with perfect ambience for romantic dinner.

Great choices of wine, unfortunately our wine was not chilled available and waiter told us,he will chill it first and still tried to chill in front of us neck of bottle inside cooler...not the best way..

Good menu choices, portions not very big,but fitting to the prices.

Quality of food was quite good, but I eat already better in the philippines with same prices.

Dissapointing was, that the service supervisor was not able to pronounce correct the french dish. But the waiter did...

But this are only small points, cause I am restaurant Manager and I see all more critical.

All in all a great place to spend a nice evening..

The boyfriend and I came here last September 2018 to celebrate our first month of being together.

He made reservations prior to the intended date and chose the table by the veranda. We had the six-course meal.

In going to the restaurant, it is advisable to have your own car or book a grab car as no public transport passed by the area. We solely relied on waze app to look for Lemuria. Upon arrival, we were ushered to our table and were served with bread. We waited for our meal, the appetizer was served first and the rest of the six-course meal was served later. We also had their house wine.

The ambience of the place is very nice, perfect for any celebrations such as but not limited to anniversaries, weddings, birthdays and others. We had a great time, the place was quiet and very romantic. A bit pricey but you get your money's worth with their service and palatability of the food. It was carefully crafted.

Tip: They prefer if reservations are made as tables are limited to avoid overcrowding. There is also a dress code required, no slippers or shorts/cargo pants allowed.

I would definitely recommend to couple friends and family for future celebrations.

Lemuria offers quality French cuisine for a reasonable price. From the entrance of the restaurant, you can admire its Mediterranean structure and the fact that it is an actual house turned into a restaurant. The ambience of the restaurant gives off a vibe as if you’re eating at a French chateau with its bright wooden facade. The food is amazingly exquisite with the freshness of the seafood and the balanced taste each course provides. We got the 6-course tasting menu and I recommend it to anyone who wants to try a little of everything. They also have free wine tasting in case you are interested in buying a bottle and I recommend you try it out at least because it’s good quality.

My only concern throughout the night was that our manager failed to inform us as soon as we ordered that their appetizer, Duo of Oysters, was unavailable. They served Shrimp and Petals instead which was almost a hazard because my friend is allergic to shrimp. Good thing that their waiters introduce each dish as it is served and we were able to have it replaced right away and they informed us of the reason. The manager later on apologized to us and the rest of the night proceeded smoothly. We even had an additional order of coffee which was pretty good.

I would definitely go back next time to try their 9-course tasting menu and visit their wine cellar which was sadly closed by the time we finished eating.

Went here on an anniversary date. Place wasn't packed (was just us and another table) but it won't hurt to call in reservations. The place looks really great, especially at night with the warm light. The garden looks like a good place to setup a small intimate event.

Service was great, but maybe because they only had 2 groups to serve that night. We talked with our waiter about their menu and he gave us a very detailed response on which dishes complement each other, what to pair with wine etc. Definitely try the place out.

If you are driving to the place, I was asked to park outside of the resto. The place is in a closed village so its really safe, but the parking may seem a bit tight if you plan to bring an SUV.

Popular date place. When we came in we shared the restaurant with couples. No groups. Just couples.

Enjoyed all that we ordered, esp the foie gras, prawn bisque and seafood risotto.

Their garden is so lovely that we spent a fairly long time in one of the benches after dinner enjoying the evening breeze.

Food is just a 4 for me but I have to add another star for their lush garden

Even when we were just Boyfriend and Girlfriend, Rina and I would never go with the Valentine's Day crowd. Our mentality is, since we're a part of each other's life on a daily basis, every day is Valentine's Day (cheesy I know, so sue me). We go out to eat almost every weekend anyway, so its no big deal. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a hopeless romantic at heart - I've never failed to send flowers, chocolate or something else on Valentine's day, just to make sure she knows I'm not taking her for granted.

We wanted to treat my mom to a sumptuous meal for mother's day so I and my boyfriend brought her & my dad to Lemuria. I called a couple of days in advance since lunch is strictly by reservation.
Lemuria is inside a beautiful residence of a German & Filipina couple in Horseshoe Village, New Manila. The pretty place is like a guesthouse-turned-restaurant with a wine cellar underneath.
We kicked off lunch with freshly baked rolls & butter. The cream of asparagus with chicken sacchettini was a hearty combination of creamy, asparagus-y broth & a couple of dumplings.
I especially loved the forever summer salad - it was a nice union of different flavors: sour, nutty, fresh & juicy, sweet, and earthy.
The main course of rock lobster & scallops w/ sweet potato croquettes&seafood sauce meuniere. Everything was really good, especially the sauce&croquettes. The scallops were cooked just right. The lobster, though, was just okay. Our dessert was an unexpected version of pineapple upside down cake - a nice cheesecake w/a combo of dehydrated & caramelized pineapples and a smear of ooey gooey caramel sauce.
It was an overall pleasant, classy Iunch that certainly made my mom's day:)

My hubby surprised me a fancy dinner for my birthday. He took me here, and we had a very awesome night.

When we arrived, I was so impressed by the place. It was indeed a hidden gem. The place is classy and the ambiance is cozy and romantic

The wait staff were all well trained and professionals. They keep on checking on us if we need anything and was prompt to serve our food.

We had a 6 course meal, and it was all worth it. I can't say anything about their food but it was a wonderful gastronomical experience for us both, foodies.

We were seated in one of the isolated tables. Probably because they knew that we will be celebrating an occasion. It was a nice gesture of them to reserve us a table that is I believe is one of the best spots in their dining area. However, in our seats, we were not that comfortable. The area we were seated at was not cold.
I just wish there has enough ventilation or at least ensure that the AC's are working properly. Nonetheless, I would still give Lemuria a 4 Star!

The romantic ambiance and excellent service is perfect for celebrating special occasions. In fact, my now-hubby considered Lemuria as one of his proposal venues a few years back – so when my friends suggested this, I definitely wanted to try it out. After all, this is one of the top romantic restaurants in Manila!

Upon entering this hidden gem, I immediately felt “kilig” to walk down this dimly-lit garden leading up to this quaint Spanish-themed home.

I ordered the 6-course degustation, priced at P1800, which included the ff dishes:
- Pork trotter as amuse-bouche (something like an appetizer)
- Squash soup with saffron threads
- Moules au vin blanc (Chilean black mussels)
- White fish with leek terrine
- Lemon sorbet
- Wagyu cheek and bone marrow
- Choco cremeberry

Came here right before Valentine’s day for our first wedding anniversary. Very romantic place, highly recommend it for a special date night. They had a 5 course meal set which we availed of. Everything was very well cooked especially the wagyu with bone marrow. Although I think the appetizer dishes came out in the wrong order. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly.

Only complaint is the parking. The road leading the Lemuria is under renovations so had to park outside on the Main Street. There was no sign and hard to turn the car around.

My husband is a steak lover, and we had tried couple of restaurants around the Metro, apparently, not all passes his standards. He lives in the US so the standard is pretty high. So i brought him here for a dinner date and ordered ribeye for him.
I was really happy that he loved the steak here and he would like to come back.

The ambiance was nice, feels cozy and gives you the feeling of a countryside home. The staff was helpful and very attentive. Even the lady (who I think is the manager) was very welcoming.

Oh, and the lemuria signature dessert tastes heavenly! You will taste the authenticity of all the food so price is really worth it! 🍷👍🏻

Right after sitting at our reserved table, their complimentary bread was immediately served. It tastes so fresh which is perfectly paired with their butter.

For our appetizer, we ordered the Prawns with Feta Cheese and Tomato Carpaccio which is bursting with different flavors. This is a perfect dish to start the upcoming culinary adventure.

The truffle lover in me made me choose the Tagliatelle for our next dish. I love the freshness of their pasta - cooked Al Dente, which is handmade. It is topped with what I thought was a biscuit but it turns out that it's a cheese that was made crispy. The sauce was a bit sweet for my liking, but I loved it overall.

The star of the night was the steak (I forgot what it's specifically called). We had it cooked medium rare. I swear I've never tasted perfection until that moment happened. The meat was cooked to perfection and feels like it melts in your mouth on every bite. I love the sauce that accompanied this masterpiece, and the veggies that came with it were also fresh and cooked just right.

Finally, we had the Lemuria cheesecake which tastes heavenly. Not to sweet, but rather delectable in its own way. This is how you end a perfect dinner.

Dining at Lemuria was an exceptional experience! If you are celebrating something and doesn't mind spending a bit for an exquisite meal, this is the place to be.

I love almost everything about this restaurant. Their service was superb. From the guard outside to the waiters and staff. The waiter immediately refills your water even without asking for it. The place is pretty and the food is really delicious. I like how we are like entering someone’s house (actually we are). The owner’s house is right beside the restaurant.

PS. They have a wine cellar on the first floor that you can look into.

Enjoyed the food and service. The prawns with feta cheese was so good. Each bite was tantalizing. The squash soup was creamy and totally scrumptious.
I also loved the soft shell crab salad. It was just balanced. Suited for my taste.
For the main, I chose the delicious soft wagyu beef with mushroom and mashed potatoes.

Place : 5 - 5 My husband and I are always looking for a place where we can talk. Catch up about our long day and probably have a few drinks. This is an ideal place for couple who needs a time off from the busy City.
Food : 3 - 5 Need to add more on the menu. But whatever you choose I believe it taste more than good. I had shrimp pasta and I love it. I forgot what my husband had but I'm sure it's a steak. His not satisfied though because the serving is tiny for him. Hehe. And it's a little bit sweet which he doesn't like on his steak.
Wine : 5 - 5 I have to mention this.. They serve all the good wines in town. I had rosè just to be safe bec I wanted to really drink that night. *celebrating haha
Service: Very professional.
Serving time : 30 mins up so don't come very hungry.
Note : You need to bring a car bec it's inside horseshoe village and no public vehicle inside. Uber / Grab / Cab no problem.

Romantic place to dine with your partner. Nice interior that match the romantic candle light dinner. Herb crusted rack of lamb was cooked to perfection. Perfectly cooked to medium rare. I can taste the juiciness and flavor of the meat. I love the way they presented the food. For the dessert, we had the grand marnier souffle. Creamy dessert to end the night. Price is expensive. But you are paying for the wonderful service and privacy in a place.

I can't wait to write this review! EXCELLENT AND PERFECTION are the two words that would best describe our dining experience. While waiting for our order, bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar was served. Soft in the middle with crunchy outer layer. For the appetizer, we ordered Foie Gras Trio, I was in heaven while devouring every piece of it, it consisted of 3 different interpretations of foie gras and my favorite was the pan-seared style with watermelon, it was creamy, fresh and goes well with the sweetness of the fruit, I was dying in my seat as I eat it. For the main, we ordered Shrimp Tortellini, it was succulent, tasty and melts in my mouth, the complementing sauce was also great, I can feel the ocean breeze as I eat it, the mushroom that goes with it was also a yum. Moreover, we ordered U.S Pan Grilled Rib eye and had it medium well with peppercorn sauce. It was juicy and well seasoned, one of the best cuts I've tasted. To further enjoy the experience, we paired our food with La Umbra Rose wine, vivid juicy taste with aroma of berries and lastly, for the sweet ending we had Lemuria cheesecake with a caramel-like taste to it, the texture was also nice and topped with strawberry preserved. Overall, this dining experience was extraordinary. Service and attentiveness of the staff was amazing. The interiors and design of the whole place was well planned for. I would love to come back again and again. ❤

The first time I have heard of this restaurant was about 3 years ago when I was looking for a romantic place to propose to my then girlfriend. I found this in a list, I think in Facebook, being included in the top 10 most romantic places for proposals. Eventually, I did not choose this restaurant. Anyway, I chanced upon this again via a truffle 4-course dinner coupon from Deal Grocer. I thought this was a good idea to finally try this one out.

The place is indeed romantic. After we parked our cars outside, a doorman will escort us to a cute old house. The walk on the cobblestone road with torch lights seemed romantic. The interiors of the house feels cozy yet homey with the interior frames, with a feel of a fine dining French restaurant.

We had a complete dinner starting with an amuse bouche of seared tuna and cucumber salad, then a choice of duck confit salad, and beef tartare. For the main course, we had butter poached shrimp with shimeji mushrooms and angel hair pasta, and beef cheeks in truffle sauce. For desserts, we had pavlova with fruits and truffle honey. The main courses were great. The shrimp pasta was my favorite, while the beef cheeks were melt-in-your-mouth tender. I was not a fan of the appetizers as I find something lacking. The dessert was too sweet for me and it was the only dish that I could not finish.

Nevertheless, the restaurant is a quiet place for the couple to bond over a glass of wine.

First impressions last, so when you get in and smell the strong scent of stuffy old wood, you kind of get caught off guard from the whole degustation. We ordered an extra course which was the seared foie gras and it was amazing. There is promise in their ala cart menu, so I suggest go straight ala cart and skip the tasting menu. I wanna go back just to try the uni scallop dish.

According to a certain myth, there existed a lost continent, Lemuria, which was once home to an advanced human civilization. These so-called Lemurians possessed vast knowledge and great power, as well as the uncanny ability to communicate with one another through mental telepathy.  . Myth or not, it took us miles to search, but not a lifetime.

Definitely pricey. Level of service and quality is comparable to any high-end restaurant. What sets it apart is its location as it is set in a private residence compound in an upper-middle class neighborhood in Quezon City. The quaint real estate affords you a feeling of privacy/exclusivity. Very ideal for special occasions like romantic dinners and anniversaries. Menu is a mix of continental and Mediterranean dishes. I tried the Urchin Soup with Mild Mushrooms for starters and the Rack of Lamb for my main entree. Worth a second visit when budget permits. ;)

My husband & I went here for his birthday. We were intially supposed to go to Relish but I was turned off by the fact that they didn't get back to us with a confirmed reservation. I'm glad we ended up at Lemuria.

The place spells romantic! We had the following:
Feta Watermelon Salad - not good. The only memorable thing about this was the price at P465
Bouillabaisse (P450) - Good. It was rich & warm, & the cream that goes with it makes the taste so much interesting.
Foie Gras Trio (P1,155) - One of our favorites! You cannot go wrong with duck liver. & the presentation was divine.
Sea Urchin & Seared Scallops (P580) - This was absolutely heavenly! The mushroom with scallops were absolutely tasty, & the fish roe on top of the sea urchin gives it a totally different spin.
Roasted Duck Breast (P1,035) - Good as expected although I coudn't quite chew on the duck fat which is the only time I allow myself to eat fat.
Braised Lamb Shank (P1,075) - Good as expected & my husband appreciated the presentation.
Lemuria Cheesecake (P326) - Best cheesecake I've tasted in my whole life! I can taste a bit of sweet, sour & salty. It was absolutely wonderful!
Gran Marnier Souffle (P326) - It was our first time to try souffle. We had to google how to eat it. While we note that this one is quite an art to do, taste-wise, it was nothing spectacular.
House Red Wine (P 760 for 2) - I am unfortunately not a wine person but whenever I'm on fine dining, I crave the wine to go with my duck.

Service is as expected in fine dining restaurants, although there were some black ants in the table we sat on. They readily offered for us to be transferred.

Value for Money-wise, while we expected to spend a lot, for the same value, I think you can get more courses in fine dining restos in the BGC area. It was a good experience overall but it will take some time before we go back here (ipon ipon muna 'pag may time).

Taste - 4
Value for Money - 3
Service - 3.5

I covered this restaurant when I was still a food journalist. It took us quite a bit of a challenge to the place but was worth it when we finally arrived. The cuisine was French-Mediterranean and very indie. We were told that their customers were mostly businessmen and the intelligentsia. I wouldn't be surprised as such a hidden gem serving Classical European Cuisine is what you look for when it comes to gourmet. We tried the pate for entree and lamb for mains. The servings are small and nouvelle but that is typically French!

Lemuria Gourmet Restaurant is an exquisite location for those looking for an elegant dining spot that’s conducive to a quiet, intimate time when dating someone special, celebrating anniversaries, closing business deals, or proposing a marriage. :)

Its fine-dining menu is concise with limited options, but every item seemed like a signature dish packed full of flavor. We ordered a soup entrée, two mains, and a cake for dessert.

A complimentary bread basket with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and butter was brought to our table as appetizers. Breads were fresh, light, and tasty, and the olive oil with balsamic vinegar had a nice fruity kick.

For our soup course, the Mushroom and Gruyere (PhP 395) isn’t exactly something we seek out on menus, but while color was one-dimensional, this one happened to be quite good—thick and creamy. The gratinated swiss cheese on top tasted pretty sharp and pronounced, so much better than cheddar cheese.

For our seafood main, we chose the Shrimp Tortellini (PhP 625) made with home-made shrimp tortellini in crab fat sauce topped with sautéed chanterelles (a.k.a. queen of mushrooms). Presentation was super fancy and the golden-priced, golden-looking, and golden-tasting chanterelles with crab fat sauce worked wonders. Texture of the pasta was not exactly like that of a traditional pasta. I was actually expecting spaghetti-like strands of pasta, obviously as I had zero familiarity with how tortellini looked like. Haha.

A mainstay of fancy dinner parties, the Beef Bourguignon (PhP 830) was nothing short of amazing. Served with mashed potatoes on the side (sorry, not on picture), these US short ribs were braised to the core in red wine for eight hours with shallots, carrots, and lardoons (pork fat). Immersed in savory sauce, the fork-tender meat melted in my mouth like butter. Although portion was small, it was filling and definitely a luxurious treat. Yum!

Nothing beats a slice of decadent chocolate cake. Formed with alternating layers of white chocolate and dark chocolate, the Opera Cake (PhP 320) had an interesting blend of sweetness. It was moist, rich, and a little bit addictive. It’s pure indulgence!

Lemuria Gourmet Restaurant is not the most accessible place, but getting here is worth it if you’re looking forward to a dreamy dinner. The prices aren’t cheap, with an average rate per person hovering around the PhP 1000 mark. Food was well prepared and the amount of work spent to make the dishes was undeniable, but it’s truly the ambiance and service that made the experience remarkable. :)

Had a wonderful wedding day here last March, very intimate backyard setting. The food is superb. Staffs are very accomodating. Reservation is needed. Wines are a must try.

Beautiful surroundings, very attentive service. The food was good, we felt it could be tweaked slightly to be excellent. The mushroom and Gruyere soup could have been enhanced with truffle oil. I was disappointed to find out their signature cheesecake wasn't available. The Grand Marnier soufflé was good but it didn't blow us away. A chocolate orange sauce could have deepened the flavours. Our sparkling wine was very enjoyable. We really enjoyed our dining experience.

Very good experience in Lemuria. Spent our anniversary here.

Ambiance: Like being in someone's home (kind of like Antonio's Tagayatay). They had a beautiful entrance with lush greenery and the interiors were very homy and well lit.

Service: Our waiter was very nice and attentive. He knew the menu well which to me, is very important.

Food: delicious!

Try: Bone Marrow Risotto (wow!)

LEMURIA is a private dining French restaurant conceptualized by Mrs. Marina "Kitt" Schroeder, hidden in Horseshoe Village, Quezon City. It's name is inspired by the mystery behind the lost continent of Lemuria.

The cozy dining area is located on top of the Brumms Quality Wine Cellar, with a curated wine list from Germany, Austria, Romania, and other boutique wineries the Shroeders love.

After 8 years, it continues to be one of the most romantic garden restaurants in Manila. It never fails to lure lovely couples to dine because of its charm, focus on quality, and personal touch.

It's a bit nostalgic, reminiscing my initial post about this place: Lemuria's Mystique - a Romantic Restaurant in the Metro, and revisiting Lemuria after almost 8 years.

Dress Code: Smart Casual: No shorts (inclusive of extremely short female dress shorts), No slippers (regardless of brand), No Sandos, No Baseball caps, No Crew-neck (round neck) T-shirts

You have to turn left after the bridge in Horseshoe village. You should see a small gate with a Lemuria signage.

The place is beautifully lighted at night, with a lush garden surrounding the homey setup.

It's good to go on a weekday, when it's not too crowded. Couples are seated by their own private corners.

It was awesome to have dinner with Mrs. Kitt Schroeder, Sommelier Ava Sarfati Araw, and their new Chef Kevin Endaya, together with my wife Rache.

I ordered the Infinite 8 Degustation with wine pairing, while my wife ordered from the Ala Carte menu.

The meal starts with a complimentary bread basket with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and butter.

Prahova Valley Demi-Sec, Romania. A wine round and suave, with a special charm and sensuality; delicate flavors of honey and citrus flowers. Notes of pineapple and elder flowers.

The degustation kicks off with a bubbly semi-sweet, fruity wine from Prahova Valley in Romania, to entice your taste buds and to prepare your palate.

[Infinite 8: 1st Course] LEMURIA PLATE with fig salami and apricot compote.

The amuse bousche is a savory mini-cupcake with a nice mix of chicken liver-foie gras pate, balanced with the sweetness of the fig and apricot. Best to eat in one bite and enjoy the playful contrasting flavors.

SCALLOPS WITH MUSHROOMS AND BEURRE BLANC (P830 +10% service charge). Seared giant scallops on top of sauteed fresh mushrooms.

The Atlantic scallops are soft, juicy, and not overcooked. They are paired with fresh sauteed Chanterelles mushroom with white butter.

[Infinite 8: 2nd Course] TOMATO CARPACCIO with Tuna remoulade.

A good starter salad -- slices of tomato with tuna on top and these red seeds for added texture.

MUSHROOM AND GRUYERE (P357 +10% service charge). A creamy forest mushroom soup topped with gratinated swiss cheese.

The soup is a creamy blended mix of ceps (porcini), shiitake, and button mushrooms, topped with melted cheese. :) It's velvety smooth and not too rich.

[Infinite 8: 3rd Course] MUSHROOM AND GRUYERE. A creamy forest mushroom soup topped with gratinated swiss cheese.

This is the same soup but in a smaller serving size for the degustation.

[Infinite 8: 4th Course] FRESH WATER BASS. With braised fennel and leaks.

The appetizer course was just OK -- a small slice of fish and clean-tasting vegetables.

2011 Gunderloch Riesling trocken. Rheinhessen Region, Germany. Concentrated and powerful, with racy flavors of dried quince, pear, and ginger. Mineral and spice power through to the crisp, structured finish.

This wine is fruity with a dry spice finish, which is good to pair with light meals such as fish and not-too-creamy dishes.

[Ala Carte] SEA BASS (P1,050 +10% service charge). Pan seared Chilean sea bass with mushroom risotto and fresh vierge.

I love that they remember to cook their sea bass medium, so that it's juicy, soft, and literally melts in your mouth. The risotto was also perfect, cooked al dente, with mushroom and creamy sauce na di nakakaumay.

[Infinite 8: 5th Course] LEMURIA SORBET

We had a nice fruity sorbet as a palate cleanser to prepare for the main course.

[Infinite 8: 6th Course] SOUS VIDE PORK BELLY with red wine reduction.

A nice slice of really soft pork belly cooked the French way, with dried fruits and greens.

[Infinite 8: 7th Course] HERBED LAMB CHOP. French rack of lamb pan-roasted and crusted with herbs, served with potato puree and cherry tomato confit.

The main highlight of the meal is this serving of herbed lamb chop. It's best eaten with a bit of the herbs, potato, and candied cherry tomato.

2007 Salzberg (Limited). GERNOT HEINRICH, Austria. Dark ruby-garnet color, a touch of violet. Ethereal nose of sweet forest berry fruit, fine herbs, soft tobacco, and noble wood. Richly faceted, compact, and powerful. Nuances of chocolate, orange zest, and juicy berries. Wood spices in the finish.

This was beautiful! I wish I could describe the satisfaction of drinking a really good red wine. Highly recommended. Make sure it's at the right temperature and let it breathe properly before serving.

Try it: 2007 Gernot Heinrich Salzberg (.75 Liter)(Limited)

The Salzberg was a nice match for the meat. It enhances the flavor of the lamb.

[Infinite 8: 8th Course] LEMURIA CHEESECAKE. Carabao's milk and dulce de leche cheesecake with strawberry compote.

A fitting sweet ending to a wonderful degustation, with the right portion size for the courses, a good balance of flavors, and a defining quality that embodies the essence of Lemuria.

2010 Schubert Dolce, New Zealand. Lightly golden in color, with high viscosity this wine combines flavors of white peaches, apricots, and zesty citrus aromas, with layers of floral honey and green walnuts, showing some minerality and all nicely balanced by an elegant acidity.

The dessert is nicely paired with a sweet honey and fruity dessert wine.

[Ala Carte] OLIVE OIL AND CHOCOLATE MARQUIS (P326 +10% service charge). A merge of chocolate and olive oil in an interesting way served with banana scallops.

This was just OK. You're better off ordering the Grand Marnier Souffle instead.

I think the attention to freshness and quality of ingredients, the boutique romantic ambiance, a well-curated selection of wines, and having a trained passionate staff is the secret behind Lemuria's success and what keeps it going strong after 8 years.

If you order ala carte, I would recommend the MUSHROOM AND GRUYERE, SCALLOPS WITH MUSHROOMS AND BEURRE BLANC, SEA BASS, and HERBED LAMB CHOP.

A Lemuria dinner isn't complete without the wines. I recommend starting with the Prahova Valley Demi-Sec and having the 2007 Salzberg (Limited) for your main course.

The desserts are OK. It would be nice to have a mystical dessert to cap the experience.

Don't miss this chance to try the Lemuria Infinite 8 degustation, which is only P1,188+ per head and P1,888+ with wine pairing. It's only until August 24, in celebration of their 8th year anniversary.

Congratulations and more power to the Lemuria! :)

This place is like a heaven. It's hard to discover this place since it's located beneath the busy district of Quezon City. I just discovered it via instagram post by Heart Evangelista during her engagement party with her fiance. It's a legit, genuine and a real fine dining restaurant. Everything in here is sophisticated, the place, the food, the staff, the interior of the restaurant, the presentation of each serving, and a lot more. I ordered Soft Shell Crab Salad and i must say that this food is close to perfect thing. The price is expensive but it's all worth it! You can even have your dream cande-light dinner here. You must try it, but you need a bunch of money before you do so.

We had the scallops and uni and tuna tartare for our appetizer, the bone marrow risotto and quail two ways for our main, and the cheese cake and souffle for dessert. The food was alright but far from spectacular. Portions were surprisingly small. We did love the ambiance and privacy of the place though. Very pretty.

Lemuria is a place to fall in love in. A beautiful Mediterreanan style house converted to a fine dinjng restaurant. My boyfriend and I got stuck in traffic on our way there, so he was slightly incensed. But that all changed when the food started coming. From the amuse bouche to dessert, everything was beautifil and tasteful. I particularly loved the sea bass and rissoto and the prawn and crab tagliatele. Both were divine.

My husband and I had a thoroughly enjoyable meal last night at Lemuria. It is expensive but truly worth the experience. For me it ticked all the right boxes in terms of ambient mood lighting, it's cozy and intimate, with just the right amount of space between tables. They also have a small enclosed verandah which is just perfect if you are only two people. We sat on the verandah. Alan, our waiter had clearly been well trained, he was attentive without being demonstrative, vigilent when it came to topping up wine and water glasses and knew the menu well.

What also impressed me was the timing between each of the courses ( you were given the right amount of time to savour each course along with chat time). The food was presented with love, care & attention which just added to the overall experience. I started with the pan seared foie gras and my husband had the seared veal & tuna tartare. All the flavours complemented one another perfectly. The expectatons were set with the starters and the main meals of Chilean Seabass and Braised Lamb Shank with Apricot didn't disappoint either. Again cooked to perfection and at just the right temperature. For dessert I tried the Grand Marnier Souffle and my husband had the Neufchatel Cheesecake. Both were prepared with love and attention and looked wonderful on the plate.

Lemuria also has a good wine selection, we ordered a 2009 Mclarenvale red and that too was perfect.

So all in all, I will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to friends. It's certainly one of the jewels in the crown of restaurants here in Manila. Thank you Lemuria !!!

romantic place, great wine selection, superb food.

pricey but food is truly good. Place is a little inconvenient to find (for a southie like me), secluded however, this is what makes it more romantic and charming.

Its french dishes are truly living up to the authentic french expectations.
