I love it for its nearly italian taste but with affordable price
Delicious italian food. The toasted ravioli tasted so good with the tomato sauce. I like the truffle penne pasta because the truffle oil is not overpowering and the noodles is cooked al dente and the sauce is creamy and tasty. The pizza was good too. We ordered half red sauce and half white sauce.
Had an early dinner with the partner. The place was tight and full. We ordered the Truffle Penne, Half Viva Venezia and half BBQ Chicken Pizza. All were very good. Service was ok. Pricing was excellent, value for money. No need to go to a mall to enjoy pasta and pizza. There was a waiting line when we left. Limited parking.
Their pizzas are really, really, really good. They're perfect for their flavor and price. Pastas are above average, their truffle pasta is probably their best. Hard to beat a resto that offers quality flavor at more than reasonable prices.

Went back to Friuli after such a long time and it’s still as good as I remembered. Ordered the following for lunch:
1. Truffle Pasta - the penne was al dente and the sauce really coated the noodles so every bite was tasty. It comes with a big slice of garlic bread which you can use to moo up the extra sauce. Super creamy and the taste of the truffle really comes through! The serving is big and can be easily shared between 2 people.
2. Half and half pizza (Margherita and Viva Venezia) - These two flavours are some of their bestsellers and for good reason! Each bite of the Margherita hits you with the juiciness of the tomato, and a kick of garlic. The Viva Venezia’s beef topping as well as the olives and bell peppers also balance the flavour profile well. Both pizzas were suuuuuper cheezy too!
3. Lasagna - The lasagna is good for 1 very hungry person, or 2 people who would just like a taste. It’s beef and cheese and tomato sauce heaven packed in such a small square, and is served with a big slice of garlic bread as well.
4. Fried Ravioli - It was my first time trying this so I couldn’t really compare with anything but the closest thing it reminded me of was a beef and cheese empanada. It was filled with spiced beef and gooey mozzarella on the inside, breaded on the outside, and is fried to perfection. It also comes with a tomato and parmesan dip but it’s really good on its own too.
Overall, I super recommend this to people who are looking for quality food on a budget. Friuli’s an institution, and for good reason. Beyond the bestsellers they have, it was good exploring more of their menu because each one I have tried so far has not disappointed me.
Their pizza is probably the best one along maginhawa. their pasta is so-so but i give it points for being more "authentic" than ones i have tasted so far. Sadly there is no alcohol, but i guess it caters more to students. Will always come back for their thin crust pizza.

I love how laid back this resto is. Super duper love their pizza! I love that you have the option to choose 2 flavors. Pasta can serve up to 2 people. Quality of food is at par with other italian resto but a lot more affordable 💯

Prior to entry, your nostrils will be greeted by sweet aroma of garlic and chives. The place resembles a delightful marriage between Filipino and Hispanic culture. Furnished by antiques and a couple of wooden tables, the interior of the restaurant became airy and nostalgic, echoing the bygone colonial era. Those red checkered cloth covering the tables sets an atmosphere of celebration. As a child raised in the Philippines, I am very well-acquainted with the colors of fiesta.
Braced by bewitching glam of the café, I started to brew up excitement to delve deeper on their menu. My fingers flipped the pages straight to a vast array of their specialties. One look and I knew I would be having a good dinner. Soon enough, a plate carrying Pizza Margherita slid on our table. The aroma was composure-breaking! For the Pasta, we opted to get Truffle. And it was superb too! the taste has a nutty kick with balance of salt and humami lingering on your tastebuds with every bites.
Chad and I have been loyal customers of this establishment for about 5 years now. It's only this time that we tried to order meals that are not for sharing. We tried their "A little of everything" meal for 195 pesos. It consists of pasta, 2 slices of pizza, and a side of either toasted raviolli or mozarella sticks. I find this to be a perfect idea especially when magkaiba kayo ng gustong flavor ng pasta and pizza. Or when trip mo kumain magisa. We still shared between the 2 dishes though and after 5 years, Delicious and affordable parin. I highly recommend their Tuna and Mushroom pasta. My favorite sa Friuli! May anghang sya pero di super anghang. And the toasted ravioli. Masarap din yung pesto but I hope na meron syang meat para mas masarap. For the pizza we had Tre Formaggi and Hawaiian. Parehong masarap!
The place looks casual, not really meant for fine dining I think. But the food was so goooooooood 😭❤️ I'll definitely comeback for more! Raviolli was my favorite. It's a must try!

Of all the Italian Restaurants i had been to, this is the only resto that exceeds my expectations. An authentic Italian, true to the taste.
It is very affordable. I love the Spaghetti with Tuna & Mushroom, Mozarella Sticks and the Spiced Romano Pizza.
The service is excellent. Staffs are very attentive and friendly.
1st date namin ng girlfriend ko dito. Ex ko na ngayon. So yun okay yung place. Calm ambiance lang. Approachable yung mga staff lalo na si kuyang nakaupo lagi sa harap. Pwede ka makisinde sakanya kikwentuhan ka pa niyan. The food is great and hindi siya ganun kamahal.
A perfect artisan, gourmet pizza within the neighborhood. A lot of variety , quality pizza. Also thr pastas and appetizers are so delish.
Only let down is parking but you can have a late lunch or early dinner to get a perfect spot.
Before it became our favorite, when me and my friends crave for pizza and pasta but had a tight budget we always go at Friuli Maginhawa. Wayback my favorite was the Tuna Pasta, but last time we visit were surprised that the taste of the pasta changed, maybe they changed their cook. Also the ambiance and staffs changed too. In terms of service naman, they serve fast and accommodating. Hope the same old pasta taste would come back.
Probably my go to place for pizza fix, cheap and taste great too! You can have you pizza, half and half.. but my fave here is their mozarella sticks. Been eating here since 2012.

Honestly one of my go-to food stalls along Maginhawa. Highly recommendable Italian food. The best!
We ordered 2 pizzas (half-half) and 2 pastas. What I like about friuli is they offer half-half pizzas wherein you can get two flavors in one order. Their pizza and pastas were good for around 2 people for each. The funglio tastes just like normal home-cooked carbonara while the carbonara is spicy with a hint of sweetness. Their pastas also come with one slice of garlic bread each. For the pizzas, my personal favorite was the viva venezia. I also enjoyed the formaggi pizza as you can really taste the blue cheese on it. We'd also appreciate if they had free parmesan or cheese since it's an italian place but they told us that you have to pay for it.
The service was also okay and the people were friendly. It just took about 20-30 minutes before our food was served. The place was packed at 7pm on a weekday.
But overall, the food is good and very affordable. Will definitely come back again.
One of Italian restaurants where you can get authentic taste of pizza and pasta at a cheaper price. This is a must try when you go to Maginhawa!! They got variety of choices too!! Tried the Tre Formaggi (combination of blue cheese, mozzarella and cheddar) and Capellini alla putanesca. Loved the Tre Formaggi, you can taste the blue cheese more. Serving is good for sharing, very sulit!
This is our favorite place here in Maginhawa. Affordable price and definitely good italian food! All meat pizza is a must! Haha we also order the spicy tuna mushroom pasta, like everytime! The mozzarella sticks are the best! Its huge and the salsa is perfect! Bit disappointed though with the mushroom soup, tasty but texture is like water! But still super love their resto!
At first I thought this place was a bit sketchy but when the food arrived I was shocked not just because it tasted so good but also the serving size of the pasta and pizza I ordered for the price it was at.

We had Eggplant Parmigiana, Angel Hair Puttanesca and Spicy Romano pizza with a pitcher of good iced tea.
The Parmigiana was rich and tasty! The puttanesca was flavorful with tomatoes, olives, capers and anchovies.
Spicy Romano pizza is yummy! It's liberally sprinkled with Romano cheese, which is somewhat salty and blended with ground beef, mushrooms and spices

The Spaghetti with Tuna and Mushroom is a must-try!!! We order this 99% of the time we dine here (also available in take out trays**, see note below). Their other pasta flavors are also worth trying (meat sauce pasta is my Top 2). These go really well with their mozzarella sticks.
Not a huge fan of their pizzas (crust is too thin for my liking), but the flavors are very good. Pizza diameter is big for the price, and they're generous with the toppings

I am thankful that this place is open til late in the evening, especially when you suddenly get hungry and want something fast and affordable. They serve great thin crust pizzas and pasta. Service is pretty efficient as well. The place can get packed so try to go during off peak hours.
Definitely my favorite go-to when I'm craving for mozzarella sticks. Pizza is good but their pasta (especially the pesto) needs to be improved as it's close to grinded grass. Definitely, the mozzarella sticks is the winner here (not to mention that delicious salsa!)

Authentic Italian cuisine at a very affordable price. I suggest having their Cheese Pizza and Carbonara. The place is small and gets easily packed during lunch time.
Never been to Naples or Italy at all so I don't know what "proper" pizza should taste like but, man if they did it better than Friuli's that would be awesome.
This joint has been an institution in the Maginhawa scene. It was here before food parks like StrEAT! were the norm. It just goes to show that as long as you serve good food for the right price, you would stay long in the food game.

One of the few restaurants in Maginhawa that withstood the test of time--and with great reason. Food's cheap and filling, and the pizzas don't look or taste like your neighborhood chain pizza store. the pasta could be a bit so-so, but you get what you pay for, I guess.
Love the pizza. And I love their tiramisu. It's a must try. I love coming back here whenever I crave for pasta and pizza. The place is okay too!

For the ambiance, it’s not really vintage but it was old. But all around, they promote their pizzas and best sellers so, great idea! But what’s important was the food. They had all the condiments for the pizza. Chili flakes, hot sauce.. but two orders of pizza was just right for us four. We ordered the BBQ chicken and Funghi Pizza. Eight small slices, just the right amount for food tripping people. My friends tried the Minestrone and Zuppa Di Chipotle. Which were awesome and very affordable too.
This restau deserved a five stars , kudos to the staffs very friendly, I loved the pizza , pasta, and the unique orange ice cream.I would love to come back again ❤

My favorite Italian restaurant. The pizza and pasta are perfectly cooked and so tasty. The service was good. The place is small tho but overall it was SULIT! Would definitely go back here. Hoping they would have another branch in the central business district of the metro.
Place/staff: place was simple with an italian vibe to it with adequate ventilation. Staff were nice and efficient.
Food: Their hot sausage and pepper pizza was really good. Toppings were abundant and ends were crispy.. Puttanesca pasta has the typical italian tomato tangy flavor and was good..
This is one budget friendly italian resto. This lil hole in a wall is a must visit. I love their pizza and the pasta is triple yum. I think they put celery i their pasta. My friend love and was shocked it to get the total bill which less than what we expected!
My opinion about pastas changed when I tasted their Carbonara. It's the cheese sticks are nice too, and don't get me started with their pizzas.
My friend recommended Fruili Trattoria as one of the best restaurants in Maginhawa, and she’s definitely right! We ordered Pizza Margarita and Bacon Carbonara. Well, tbh, I did expect too much but their carbonara is just “pwede na” as I am a white pasta lover! Though the pizza margarita was good! All i can say is, their dishes are really cheap! Not to mention that this only costs 400 pesos! Good value for money! Thumbs up!
We went there with my classmate for our project and it's worth it. All the pizza was great also the Tuna and Mushroom I could eat 2 plates of it but the Putanesca was too much for my taste I don't like it. The staff was friendly too, super. I would recommend this restau for all you would regret if don't :)

This is my first review, and I’m happy that I’m doing it for the best Italian resto in my opinion! This is our family’s (and cousins’, too!) favorite along Maginhawa. If you want great food that is really worth it, with a simple ambiance that is air conditioned, then head on here. I always recommend this to friends who fancy to visit Maginhawa.
I think you dont need to have a fancy setup to enjoy the food here. It’s all simple and clean.
Our favorites include Viva Venezia (more like their supreme pizza with most toppings), Buono Verdure (veggie pizza with eggplant), puttanesca pasta and toasted ravioli. Thinking about it just makes my mouth water.
The only thing lacking is salads. They dont have salads, but what the heck - I’m here for pizza!! No to dieting! :D
Also, first time ever that we tried their desserts Sunday night. The dark choco ice cream (a huge scoop) and the mint ice cream cake was good! I forgot what they are called but I think they would know when you ask about it.
Overall, this is one of our favorites. Certainly I will always visit Friuli Trattoria for my/our pizza and pasta cravings!

We were craving for pizza and since this resto is near my place I asked my friends to come with.I must say that this is one of the hole in the wall places that you will find in maginhawa. upon entering their doors, you can smell the aroma of fresh italian cuisine being cooked and the homey feel of the place alone is very relaxing. Customer service was good. The crew immediately gave us the menu and served us with service water. We ordered the all meat and chicken tandoori pizza along with a plate of spaghetti, mozzarella sticks and blueberry cheesecake. It was quite awhile before all of our orders were served but it was all worth it. We loved the food and the servings were good for sharing so it was really a plus factor.
Dine here with our family recommended by our tita. After church we decided to try this restaurant. Sobrang huge ng servings nila dito. Yung nga pastas nila pang dalawahan na tapos mura pa dito. Siguradong babalik at babalik ka talaga dito.
Marami kang pag pipilian at mura pa ang mga foods nila dito. Malaki pa ang servings dito. Bagay sa group or family!

Lasagna - good enough, but I've had better-tastig lasagna in other restos tho those were pricier.

Their food is sooooo good! My favorite dishes were their pizzas. We ordered the margherita and panchetta pizza, mozzarella sticks, the zuppa di chipole, spaghetti with pesto, spaghetti with tuna and mushrooms, and one gelato cake.
This was one of the most fulfilling meals I've ever finished eating. Their food tastes amazing, the price was affordable, and the portions were generous. I couldn't believe such a place exists! The service was fine and the restaurant space was a bit cramped but their food made up for it, ten fold. I really recommend this place even if you're not a fan of Italian cuisine.
The food is very affordable. Good for those people who are craving for pasta and pizza. There are plenty of choices to eat. Sometimes, sriracha is available :)

It is our first time to try the famous "Maginhawa food craze" and our feet brought us here in Friuli Trattoria. The ambiance was okay, not too bongga but not cheap medyo masikip but that's fine, especially if there's only two of you na kakain. Service was flattering, the staffs were approachable and they quickly respond to your needs. But, the highlight here is of course... the FOOD!! We tried spaghetti ala carbonara and half and half for pizza (pepperoni & all meat). I'm a super fan of carbonara especially the creamiest ones but my partner wasn't. Pero I'm amazed how we both enjoyed the carbonara, muntik pa akong agawan and the pizza is yum. I can finish an order of all meat as in. Definitely worth all the money we spent here in Friuli! Will come back again here. Thanks, Friuli!
We were looking for a pizza pasta place in Maginhawa and we found Friuli in Zomato. We ordered margarita pizza and meat pizza. Both were spot on. We wanted to try their lasagna but it was not available so we got eggplant parmigiano instead. It was also good. We ordered carbonara but it was dry and lacked flavor. We checked out neighboring tables and they did not touched much the pasta dishes. We also got milky way frappe (choco with caramel). We liked that it was a dark choco so it was not too sweet. If we didn’t order the pasta, we could give a perfect 5 to this resto.

Food is cheap for the area and the cuisine. Their pizza and pasta is just average. Still, worth trying out for the sake of the hype.
However, the pizza we got tasted like toasted store-bought dough. I can’t really complain though you get what you pay for.
They say that this is one of the top list in Maginhawa Teacher’s Village. And they are not wrong about it. Friuli Trattoria make the best pizza here and pastas. And their desserts are incredible especially the mint gelato and their tiramisu. It was a best experience. Everyone should try here.

, up to this day, it's still the best Italian pizza and pasta in town! And they know how to keep up with it since they opened more than 10 yrs ago.
Mis favoritos are Friuli's Tre Formaggi (more cheezy) and Buon Verdure (only veggies) that make my day and para mi unica hija.
La mia zuppa? No other than Minestrone...I won't go anywhere else but at Friuli for it.
Many times over the years we have Friuli always for good Italian....always the same top quality.

Everything is worth it! The price of food is veeery affordable and i can say that it's cheap with the quality and quantity of their pasta. We always order 2 pastas for two (even though a plate of their pasta's already good for two). Our favorite is the tuna and their carbonara. We always come back here whenever we crave for pasta and we will always be coming back. Place was just okay i think.

We went back here for the nth time and noticed that the resto had some changes. first, the menu here in zomato isn't updated. The prices on the menu of friuli has increased. The taste of their carbonara is medyo tumabang na. We always order tuna pasta and carbonara kasi. So I edited my review here from 5 to 4 stars.
Fell inlove with this Pizza place when I was still an undergrad! Everyone should try eating here at least once (you'll keep coming back after that tho lol). The place is packed sometimes but you don't have to wait that long to get a table. Their UP Town branch is less crowded, I think. Still, 5/5 stars!!

Their tuna pasta and carbornara are delicious and affordable. I always come back here for the pizzas especially the all meat pizza. Dine in during off peak hours as it can get crowded and they only have a small space. A must try restaurant in maginhawa.

Always my go to place especially when I'm in my critical wallet days but the craving for good pasta is reeeeal. Their Spaghetti Meatsauce and Spaghetti with tuna are my top choices! Sobrang sulit, I must say! 👌

It's a small place, simply decorated, with a cozy feel. The acoustics can be pretty bad though if there are a lot of people. But it would be a great place to get together with friends.
Service
The guy who greets you outside is very helpful and enthusiastic. He seems to double as a parking attendant and one who facilitates order-taking. Their staff is very efficient.
Food
Their prices are very student-friendly, and the pizzas only come in one size. These allow you to sample a lot of flavors. Our favorite was the Tre Formaggi which had just the right balance of cheeses to prevent it from being tiresome to the palate. The Viva Venezia was lacking in flavor. The All Meat was tasty due to the spiced-up sausage. The Hawaiian pizza though was pretty awful... Overall, the pizzas were lacking in flavor and in toppings. I dislike it when I see a large margin of crust on my pizza. The crust could use a little more crunch to it (it gives off a store-bought crust feel).
I would go back, however, for the cheap prices.
Enjoying once more great pizza! Tre Formaggi and Viva Venezia with Minestrone Soup. I always take out so more customers can sit down in as it's always full. Opt to have it at home with mi unica hija. Fruili's been consistent with its quality food since 10 years ago. Nothing rivals it! Delizioso!

Friuli Trattoria is a pioneer in the Maginhawa food scene, years before Maginhawa became known far and wide for its generous stretch of foodie finds. Restaurants have come and gone and Friuli still stands to this day, much to the delight of its loyal customers.
I've always been a fan of their pizzas and pastas (my mom was too, until she passed away...) and it was because of nostalgia that I happened to trek to their old spot near Holy Family School just as I stepped out the door of The Baker's Table.
I ordered Margherita and Spaghetti with Tuna and Mushrooms takeout for myself which were served just 15 minutes later. When I got home, I was delighted to know that everything still tasted the same and that the serving's still big. Price hasn't changed that much, the dishes are still affordable.
I don't know if this is a gripe but the place still looks the same (haha!) and the servers still aren't the smiling type (haha!), but hey, this is bang-for-your-buck good grub, so I guess I'm not complaining!
I absolutely love it! The price is cheap but the quality of the food they serve isn't compromised. The place is small and very simple but it doesn't affect your overall experience. I also love the service 💕 Will definitely be back.
A safe choice for a place to dine in Maginhawa.
They offer good pasta, pizza and other italian dishes at an affordable price, even for students. You can enjoy from ordering because of the wide range of choices for their pizza. We like their Margherita pizza and Chicken BBQ pizza.
Everything we ordered was really good and really cheap! I only deducted .5 because the place needs a little improvement. But overall, this place is one of Maginhawa's bests!
Super love the pasta and pizza!. The best mozarella sticks I've ever tasted. The place can accomodate 50-60 persons at a time. Will cost you approx. Php 250-300 per head. Also try the onion soup and weird desserts!
