Loved their Hillside Greens Smoothie.. so fresh! Their Chicken Soft Taco was so tasty. The dressing was so full of flavor... Their Aglio Olio Seafood Pasta was so yummy. Pasta was al dente. Ambience was relaxing and homey. The staff were very accomodating and attentive. I will definitely go back!

Yesterday, I let my appetite dominate. The Short ribs with polenta, pumpkin soup and dragon fruit smoothies ! ☺ also i would like to commend the staff for being accomodating specially the chef for being nice and friendly, ready to answer some of our questions . A great talk, chill place and sumptous lunch. Feels like home!
very relaxing place to eat and i like the healthy food and drinks.
The staff are very accommodating and the ambience itself is welcoming.
A perfect place to chill and unwind. The atmosphere was inviting and the service was excellent. I personally love the Organic Roasted Chicken, the sauce perfectly captures the delightfully sweet and slightly salty taste. I also recommend their Pumpkin Soup and the Beancurd Chicharon! I would definitely go back.
Easily one of the best healthy food restaurants in QC!! :) love the cashew cheese and olive tapenade! Yum! Will be back for sure to try everything else on the menu
too good! The food is great! The presentation is too good that I didn't wanna have the beet mango smoothie! Thanks!
Great food and all I can say is... Health is wealth!
"Great food and very accomodating and pleasant staff specially the tall handsome waiter. I liked the salmon. will definitely come back. suggestion: WIFI"

More than the amount of calories consumed, healthy eating is also all about the nutrients that fresh and wholesome ingredients bring. Hillside Cafe & Juice Bar, located inside Cedarhills Garden Center along Mother Ignacia Avenue, is one of Quezon City’s prime destinations for healthy food.
We love the ambiance of the place. Going to the restaurant feels like you're in Tagaytay. Just ordered their smoothies - Banana Almond Blast and Cacao Fudge. If you like a vanilla or milky drink, go for the Banana Almond. But if you like a chocolate-y drink then Cacao Fudge is for you. Both were so good! Finally got a go-to place for a healthy drink option in QC!
One of our to-go healthy lunch place. I love their pasta selection. I’ve tried around 3 pastas from them and they never failed me. Although there are days that my favorite squid ink pasta isn’t available.
I love the ambiance Of the place. The food is delicious with a good option for healthy dishes. The drinks are very refreshing. Although it is quite expensive. But you get what you pay for. Will def be back
The place is quite small but has a nice ambiance.
We had a quick dinner, ordered their aglio olio seafood pasta and the beef soft taco. I supeeeeer loved their seafood pasta. Noodles were al dente. Very tasty! Aglio olio pastas can be tricky. Some can be bland, others too salty. This was really good 👌👌👌 The beef soft taco was just okay. Will come back to try the rest as my first visit was promising ❤
Healthy. Filling. Delicious!!! Lentil and malunggay hummus is my favorite. Tofu terriyaki with cauliflower rice was filling and really good. Hillside greens was definitely a complete meal on its own! Choco peanut butter nana is also good. Definitely became our favorite spot to eat good food!
Nice menu choices and quite affordable for the healthy life. I’m not a fan of their juice options but the food was alright. Service was kinda slow too.
I love this cafe!! The setting is a gem, a hidden garden in a very crowded and busy metro. Ordered the aioli pasta and it was really yummy! Pasta was al dente and the flavor was clean and garlicky. We also had the beef tacos and it was made of real beef, unlike the “vegan beef” available in most healthy stores. Healthy doesn’t always mean vegan actually. For the drink, we had kale shake, which was a happy version of eating fresh veggies. Lastly, we had the vegan cake, which was devoid of dairy. It was absolutely delicious and filling.
Scrumptious food without the guilt! Their smoothies are a must- try❤️. Hillside Greens and Banana Almond are their best-sellers. Great place, very cozy, will definitely go back 👍
Life in the city could be hard, frustrating and altogether stressful, so it couldn’t be helped that it drives us into an unhealthy lifestyle – fast foods, binge eating and drinking, you name it, at one point, we’ve indulged in it. In the midst of all the noise, the buzz, the hectic schedules and the stress of our lives, sometimes, the only thing that we need is a place where we could finally breathe and take a break from our unhealthy vices. A vacation away from the city might always do the fix, but the reality is, sometimes, time and circumstances just wouldn’t give us the break. But don’t fret, because we might have just found a sanctuary in the metro where we could just take a quick escape and enjoy food and drinks that is not only good for the body but are also amazingly tasty.

I went to an art workshop here hosted by the owner. She regularly teaches watercolor classes to all levels. I've been to four of them, but the one I attended yesterday was the most enjoyable so far.
We were served some excellent food.
1. Pitas and dip- pita crackers, cashew cheese and tapenade. Cashew cheese FTW. Tapenade slightly salty, but I like my food on the salty side.
2. Superfood Salad-mixed greens, beets, quinoa, vinaigrette with balsamic vinegar- for something so healthy, I actually enjoyed this dish. So much kale and malunggay flakes!
3. Bean curd chicharon with roasted potato and globe eggplant- this was served with a side salad, the chicharon was amazing. It tasted just like the real thing.
4. Seafood aglio olio- one of my faves from yesterday. It had squid, shrimp, and clams. Pasta was al dente and went well with the garlic-infused oil that was used.
5. Oat and rye crusted smoked Labahita- crunchy and has an interesting texture. However, as I like my food on the savory side, I missed the umami flavor.
6. Organic roasted chicken- served with sweet potato mash that tastes like cheese! Also has a side of roasted veggies. The chicken skin was crispy as if it had been fried but the meat was still tender.
7. Beet and mango smoothie- the beet flavor was a little overwhelming and the taste of the banana overpowered the mango. Disclaimer: not a big fan of bananas.
The loo was clean, well maintained and stocked. There were some other organic products for sale and it's right next to a garden supply store!
Definitely going back for more food and art.

Hillside Cafe and Juice Bar offer a great selection of healthy eats! I loved their zucchini pasta with crusted chicken. Even the refreshments are good. I got the calamansi and ginger juice. I recommend this place if you want to work while eating good food. Its environment is relaxing and you can really focus on what you're doing.
I like that the place isn’t so huge. It’s very quaint, perfect for meetings, dates and catch-up sessions. Their salad servings are huge, good enough for two (I'd say) but if you’re a vegetable monster like me, I’m sure you can consume the entire plate by yourself.
We ordered the Superfood Salad (which has kale, mixed greens, quinoa, beets, carrots, malunggay flakes and a vinaigrette dressing), the Hillside Greens Smoothie (which has spinach, moringa, mango, banana, chia seeds, coconut meat and coconut water), the Beancurd Chicharon (which does not disappoint! The vinegar was sooo good!), Aglio Olio Pasta (creamy, tasty and chewy) and the Tropical Smoothie (which has papaya, mango, pineapple and coco water).
BEET DETOX JUICE BY HILLSIDE CAFE AND JUICE BAR §§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§ Anyone would want a healthy lifestyle amidst the busy and bustling life of the city. Plus, it is hard to avail fresh, organic, and unadulterated food items here in the metropolis when all you see around are processsed and preserved goods. Luckily, at the heart of the city, a cafe and juice bar serves detox juices and nutritious treats for everyone to enjoy. Their space is so beautiful with all the green garden plants outside.
It is important for everyone to reward themselves with good things that are definitely good for the body and soul. I highly recommend you to visit HILLSIDE Cafe and Juice Bar. Spend some time in there cafe and feel good about yourself once you consume their detox juices that are affordable and delicious. 😋
Ordered brown rice, matcha latte, cocofudge smoothie, vegan choco cake, and a toffee cake (?). Food panda delivery.
Cakes were amazing!! I love dense cakes and these were super dense and tasty. Moist and heavy. 100/100.
Cocofudge is ok. Banana and choco and coconut? 3.5/5
Brown rice (haha i had left over ulam) was great. Rice is always great.
Matcha was bitter af but I like it or I don't know if I just feel pressures to like it haha. The sweetness is definitely from muscovado or cocosugar.
This has got to be my favorite healthy resto in QC! If I could, budget permitted, I would be here everyday because of the yummy, guilt-free food and drinks. Would give it a 5, if not for the small space - had a problem when I brought family and friends - and the relatively expensive price. Definitely worth recommending, just make sure to call and check if there are seats. 😉
If you want to indulge without getting the bulge, in other words, eat healthy, Hillside is the place to be. Hillside proves that eating healthy doesn't mean depriving yourself of good tasting food. I tried the Pesto Crusted Chicken Parmigiana and the Banana Almond Blast smoothie. I want to come back and try the other smoothies. :)
Gotta thank Maridel Cristobal for recommending this place to me. I came here because of their Gout Blaster because I had an impending attack :P The breakfast burrito was a bit pricy but satisfying. Looks like a nice place to hang out too. I'll probably try the salmon sandwich next.
P.S. The Gout Blaster worked. My foot doesn't hurt as much now.
Roasted Potato and Globe Eggplant - tasted good but not really healthy. Veggies are fried. I'll order it again.
Braised Pork Belly - soft and chewy meat. Sauce is blends well with rice and veggies
Cacao Fudge Smoothie - i'll order again!
This vegan place is a 👍🏻
Located near capitol medical center in qc.
I met this place while looking fir a place to eat and relax.
I ordered beet as their drink, hummus and chicken taco.
Food - taste is unique for me coz im not a vegan, still it interest me how playful the chef is on putting up the menu. Beet juice at first i admit it doesn't taste good but still i kept in mind its a healthy drinks 🍹. Hummus and taco are serve elegantly and the taste is good.
Place- the place is cozy. All green. At the front you will see lots of plants 🌱 a nice place to hangout if you want a relaxing place kahit di siya spacious. Parking is big, street park ka or sa parking ng capitol sa gilid. Your car is safe
Price- affordable and not that pricey. The juices are all natural so no additives.
Services- the service is 👍🏻 even in mornings i ate breakfast here the second time, they were hospitable and polite as before.
I had dinner with my mom, who wanted to try out this place after seeing it on FB. She's diabetic and wanted to see if this place would be good for her lol.
I got a Banana Almond Blast and Organic Roasted Chicken. I was supposed to try their Tender Steak but it ran out. The smoothie was good but tasted medicinal. Mom said it's because of the almonds, so ok that's understandable. I got used to the taste eventually. The chicken came with mashed sweet potato and a tiny serving of vegetables. I liked the whole dish, but I think the chicken could be bigger with more vegetables. I was satisfied but not full.
Mom got the Tropics smoothie, Tofu Teriyaki, and Superfood Salad. The Tropics smoothie didn't come out as shown in the menu. It was brown and topped with rolled oats and flax seeds where in the menu the smoothie was yellow topped with mint. It still tasted good, but we think they lacked ingredients. The Tofu Teriyaki was too sweet for my mom and tasted weird for me, like tofu shouldn't be cooked this way. It looked unappetizing too because of its soggy look and brownness paired with brown rice. The salad was only okay and looked too simple. The serving was lacking for the price.
Overall, this place is worth a try if you have some money to spare. It's quite pricey so choose wisely! I'd say their smoothies are a must try especially on your first visit.
Food For The Goddess

Tried this restaurant near the hospital for a quick dinner with my friend. They serve healthy appetizers, pasta, soup, salads, and main courses. They also have a garden where they sell plants and herbs. We had baked salmon served with brown rice and cooked veggies. It was so good I am able to finish all. The salmon was fresh and baked perfectly. My friend got tomato and herb spaghetti which was okay and citrus crunch which is an immunity booster. I recommend their pandan calamansi juice 😘 Their servings were really big but I find it pricey.
You will love the ambiance, and you'll have lot of healthy choices in their menu. Oh, sorry! I mean not just lot, but ALL of good and healthy food is here! 👌❤ worth it!
I and my boyfriend wanted to try something healthy (more for his sake) so we tried to look for a healthier option for our date, so we came across Hillside Cafe & Juice Bar.
The resto is casual and has a rustic feel to it.
I ordered the Braised Pork Belly which was good for 2 people. It tasted okay but after some time, I became "umay" with the taste of the brown rice and the pork itself.
My boyfriend got the Air-Fried Chicken. Make sure you're not famished if you decide to order this because cooking time of this dish is more than 40 minutes. As expected, it was dry so we did not enjoy it that much. Frying the chicken in oil, though unhealthy, is still better.
The Pumpkin Soup was good and we liked it a lot. The fries were a little dry, though.
Suggest you try the other dishes like the Chicken Parmigiana or the Tender Steak because these may taste better (but I may be wrong). :p
Delicious and delightful! And I'm describing both food and experience, here! In fact, it was such a pleasant experience, I blogged about it in here: schoolinabackpack[dot]com!
One of those places where you feel like staying for a long time. Homey, clean and peaceful setting. Food is obviously healthy and yummy. A bit pricey but expected because of the ingredients used. Love the hillside green smoothie with spinach and spirulina. The banana almond shake is also good but a bit sweet. The Greek Mac and cheese is very nice too. The feta cheese, spinach and pine nuts is just right. Something that makes me want to copy at home. The beef soft taco is very filling. We split it between my hubby and me.
The added bonus for me are:
- the books that you can read while eating
- the garden shop beside it
- the detox juices (I had one to go and thinking of coming back for more)
The only down side is that there is no available parking. Good thing we went on a not so busy day so we were able to park on the street beside it.
One of those healthy, all organic, cold-pressed juice bar now available in the heart of quezon city!
Got their steak and cheese sub...yummy, ooey-gooey cheese and those chips for side dish just added more combo flavor!
My friend got the sausage burrito which came in a hefty good serving! Taste was good. For appetizers, we had the beancurd chicharon with suka dip and for smoothie---yummy veggie choice (forgot the name) but mainly tasted like mango juice.
Must try!
Excellent healthy food juices and smoothies. Lots of vegetarian options. Ordered a smoothie and appetizers malunggay hummus. Definitely worth going back to.
100% organic. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed the food and the place so much. Organic Chicken is a must try and also their smoothies are the bomb
Hillside Juice Bar is a detox juice bar along Mother Ignacia. It's not as visible from the outside, except for the hanging signage. It resides inside a garden plant store.
I checked out the menu from the internet and was surprised with the prices of their offering and found it too expensive. Passing by all cafes today, almost all establishment was closed, except for starbucks, because of election day, so we ended up here.
Checking their menu, they specialized in healthy smoothies, detox juice, and organic, healthy offering.
We had our breakfast burrito (veggie option) and mango beet smoothie. The burrito was surprisingly tasty even though the filling was just garlic brown rice, black beans, and fried tofu with a homemade tomato sauce on the side. It was light, healthy, and tasty. The smoothies was refreshing and naturally sweet. None or little sugar was added and topped with dried goji berry that freezes inside the drink and created the crisp texture.
Hillside Juice Bar will be one of my favorite healthy detox place in Manila. They make carnivores appreciate meatless diet that is full of flavor. It's a good break once in a while from our usual, oily, fatty diet.
#TheFoodCrawlers #OngsFoodprints
Hillside Cafe & Juice Bar busts the stereotypes about vegan/vegetarian or healthy food being boring and bland. While we had some dishes which we found bland such as the Vegan Pasta Alfredo (P385) and Falafel Soft Tacos (P215), we really enjoyed the more flavorful ones like the Corned Grass-Fed Beef Short Ribs (P465) and Pesto-Crusted Chicken Parmigiana (P435).
My friends tell me that this used to be a plants shop that decided to expand with a restaurant next door. Lucky for us all, they did. I'm excited for the Scout/Mother Ignacia neighborhood, which now has the likes of Hillside Organic offering juices, smoothies, and organic cuisine for us Quezon City residents.
Some kinks in the service need to be ironed out, but this is worth recommending for healthy drinks, air-fried roast chicken served with brown rice, their dips, and salad.
The Greek mac and cheese didn't feel like a mac and cheese because it lacked bechamel (and in fact, a cheesy flavor), but it tasted okay. Vegetarian-friendly eaters like me appreciated the tofu teriyaki.
I worry a little that healthy places such as these feel they should underseason the food, but I fail to see why that should be the case. There are many non-processed ways to amp up the flavor.
There's more on the menu I want to try, and I will!
A small cafe literally in the middle of a garden. So clean, fresh, relaxing, and frankly deserves more attention. I can safely say that they are the best organic restaurant today in the metro.
Being a consultant of another health drink brand, I know that their's are likewise legitimate versions of juices and smoothies packed with fresh greens and fruits plus rare ingredients like spirulina, dates, chia, maca, whey & hemp protein, flax, & more. Their juices are perfect for detox and as simple refreshments, while their smoothies can supplement or even replace a light meal or snack. (see ms.juicetified on IG)
Thier coffee is likwise organic and it's good! Simple flavor, non acidic, and earthy; perfect with their cookies and chips, especially their chocolate cookies made of true tablea. They offer the same with their teas and chai lattes. But the big surprise is... their main entrée are even better than you can expect. Labahita in pasta, roasted chicken, tofu teriyaki, steak with pumpkin & sour cream sauce, and more.
Sustaining their line of: "good food, good life" is indeed a challenge for them. But its more of an inspiration for me. The perfect place to visit after a stressful day at work, from the gym, or when you're a little under the weather like me at this very moment.
Tried this place based on my friend's recommendation of them serving good coffee. Forget about the coffee! Try their Pan-Seared Grass-fed Hanging Tender Steak - so far one of the best steaks I've tried. It is served on top of pumpkin mash, with grilled corn, tomato and garlic, with a side of fried rice. The whole dish was fantastic, and at Php495, it is a steal.
We also tried the Spinach and Kale Salad with walnuts and cranberries. I am not a salad eater because I see salads as dahon but this was very, very good! I will order it again.
The pasta we tried was the Tomato and Herb Spaghetti - which was just ok for me. I think it had too much sauce and I was expecting to see chunks of tomato instead of a plain tomato sauce. But if I didn't have that expectation, it is a good pasta dish.
My friend ordered the Clean and Green Juice (I think) - a detox drink - and she loved it. I ordered the Citrus juice (mix of orange, lemon and lime) and it was too tangy for me. I hope they can serve just plain orange juice next time, or orange+carrot+grape or something. Let customers experiment!
Of course we had to try the coffee as it was what my friend recommended. The coffee is good but it's the same one that's served in Whistlestop and this Jap resto I ate at in Rockwell so no biggie.
The ambiance is very nice - clean, fresh, bright. I want to hang out there. The service is also very good - the servers were friendly and attentive.
I will definitely come back to this place and bring my mother. There are other dishes in their menu that I want to try. We didn't have time for desserts anymore but will definitely try their Coffee Walnut Cake next time!
Wala nang paligoy-ligoy pa, Masarap at Masaya ang aking nadama habang kumakain dito. Imagine having your lunch inside a greenhouse..smell the greens and mints. Place is small pero sakto lang and very clean. Good for dating :). The food was presented very well and the food is awesome as well...must try the juice bar medyo pricey nga lang. Downside is...I guess parking space lang naman..okay lang ask uber to take you here :) try thier Roasted Chicken.
Had I not browsed this app, I wouldn't have known this cafe in the first place. This cafe deserves to be recognized as they serve all natural and organic food in a not so pricey level. I was kinda hesistant to order their smoothies but it tasted really good. Just ask the servers what their best sellers are and they would recommend really good dishes. Servings are also big but service is quite slow as they cook their dishes right on the spot. I loved its interiors, it has a huge glass overlooking the green plants outside. I will definitely be back again. 👍
I was expecting it to be more expensive than it is, but I was surprised at their price! the kale galad was great and freshly made. they provide quite a variety of food choices with which I, personally, am satisfied with. I certainly liked their pumpkin soup and burritos.Overall, I was fairly happy with the food and service. thank you for the nice staff and keep up the good work!
Yummy healthy food! Easy for vegans, the cashew cheese and olive tapenade was really good! As with the roasted tomato soup, and the raw zucchini pesto pasta and the aglio olio. Will definitely be back to try out other dishes! :)
*OMG!!! YOUR MASHED SWEET POTATO IS SO GOOD!!*
What I appreciate about your food is that I feel the chef made an effort to put the flavors and textures in a way that is a continue flow of flavors. We ordered roasted potato and globe eggplant for appetizer and for the entree, organic roasted chicken and pesto crusted chicken parmigiana. one of my gastronomic dine in experience in manila.
We had dinner at Hillside last summer because one of my friends was really curious about this organic restaurant. We had iced coffee first because we were waiting for one of our friends to arrive before having dinner. It was okay. A bit too watery for my taste but it was enough to satiate our coffee cravings.
For dinner, we ordered Baked Pork Belly (255 pesos), Green Mac & Cheese (275 pesos), and Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup (235 pesos). The baked pork belly was served with 2 organic eggs and rice. The pork belly was so tender. It melts in your mouth with every bite! The eggs were fresh and the rice complemented the whole dish well. However, according to my friends, the mac and cheese tasted watery and the grilled cheese was dry and hard.
Hillside Cafe is small but surprisingly sort of empty (even if it was a Friday night). There is no parking space for costumers so you have to park your car outside the flower shop. The servers are nice and attentive. :) I recommend this place for students looking for a quiet place to study. :)
One of the best organic food I have ever tasted. Quality food indeed. I recommend their seafood pasta, smoked milkfish, their juices and coffee walnut cake. Too bad we're too excited to take a picture of the food we ordered. Plus the venue is connected to a garden where you can buy plants if you're into gardening. And you can borrow some books from their shelves if you're into reading Had a good time here!
This is a fitting place for health-conscious foodies and a great place for nature-lovers. The food is great, though some dishes were way too nutritious for me that I wasn't able to appreciate the taste. The ambiance is terrific, very serene and there were even books stocked to read while waiting for your order.
I ordered the Hillside Greens smoothie, which tasted like Big Chill's Supercharger. Regardless, my chicken taco was tasty, and that's enough for me to wonder why this cafe is rated so low. Worth a try, might come back.
For anyone who wants to eat healthy but not skimp on animal protein. They have baked pork belly and my husband loves their smoked bangus. My two year old loves their eggs and yummy pure organic orange juice as well as their brown rice (imagine that!). I am partial to their Hillside Greens smoothie and always order their malunggay-hummus dip. I would pick their falafel tacos over their chicken and beef ones any day -- it's scrumptious, unforgettable and yummmmy.
I go to this resto more to relax than to savor my food. I like the clean feel of the place, I fancy the art decors around like stamp art ( for wallpapers) and rope knots for accents. They do conduct classes once in a while , ask the servers for sked. Their menu covers healthy and organic food . Maybe a bit pricey , sample is a roast chicken meal ( a small fourth cut) with rice and some veggies at 255ph. But I do like their fresh fruit juices and smoothies. What's even better is that within the compound is a gardening supplies store which also sells fresh plants and flowers. I guess if your personality fits mine, and you do appreciate all these together, you would score like mine. Cheers!!!!!
Just finished dinner at the Hillside Cafe & Juice bar. Being a fan of simple things I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich. It took a reasonable time to prepare and when it came it was above average. I loved how they blended 3 cheeses and combined it with the tangy tasting sourdough bread. And the classic pairing of tomato and coconut cream soup with the sandwich was better than I expected. Overall my dining experience was great. The food could have been warmer when it came to the table. The ambience was simple and satisfying if it wasn't for the annoyingly loud group besides us. It's worth the visit if you like organic and healthy food that tastes good.
Let's go organic..love the smoothies mango beet..and the beef tacos with yogurt, salsa, brown rice and beans...must try the other menu and drinks on our next visit. Good ambiance just near our office.
