I like that their rice toppings are not too saucy and that they separate the rice from the dish.
I find the food here good but not that excellent.
Food is consistent and menu is priced just right.
Best choices here will always be the Yangchow, Hakaw and Pork Siomai.
Convenient place for family lunch but there are way better chinese places — food and service-wise, if you want amazing chinese food.
David’s tea house is a very nice restaurant. They have very accommodating staff. Their food tasted very nice. Their assorted dumplings is really delicious and i really like their pansit. Their pansit is one of my favorite food because it is really delicious.
One of the best Chinese in Tomas Morato area, good service too by their friendly, waiter Chei. I ordered hakaw shrimp dim sum and Yang Chow fried rice and Pork spare ribs it was awesome, they have portions for one person also.
Super sulit shabu shabu. It was my firsy time to try the shabu shabu in David’s, despite our frequent visits to this joint. I should have done it earlier. It was delicious, with the amount of various toppings included. It had oysters, meat, veggies and balls. The serving was good for four people. Moreover, the spices, the satay sauce was so good, we had to order extra to be taken home. My only issue was that, the staff were not very attentive. They failed to give us water while the others were promptly served. Also, they forgot to “take note” of our additional orders such as the beancurd roll and the hakaw. However, the sulitness of the shabu shabu would want me to come back, as often as I crave the dish.

After enduring a scorching hot stroll looking for a place to eat on a Good Friday lunchtime, we decided to dine here. If my recollection is right, this is our third time to try this place.
The place was clean and the staff was courteous. The food was delivered at a slow pace because of factors I did not bother to ask. Maybe because it was a holiday and they do not have enough staff to do it quickly? I was thinking how long would it take them if the place was jam-packed with people.
Anyway, the pace was not that slow. It allowed us to enjoy everything we ordered at a leisurely pace. The food was good. The servings were more than enough for one person so you can share it with another one. I have to really experience Hong Kong cuisine to really make a comparison as to what they claim their place has to offer.
Overall it was a good experience.
The usual comforting, and quick chinese restaurant that does not hurt my wallet and manage to open for a very late night cravings. I love most of the staple food such as siopao, siomai, dimsum and noodles. Keep it up

This location is admitably better and more accessible than other locations that I have been too and the staff are always friendly and nice, however I would really say that as much as I would like to enjoy the food here, I did not. I like to label the food as very sad indeed.
Some taste seems to be foreign to what they are serving. The milk tea lacks the usual taste; the Chicken Pineapple is very sweet; and their chicken seems to lack crunchiness.
What definitely excels in David's Tea House as always is their dimsum. I really love their dimsum plus I also love their crab rice - that was really good indeed. I am just hoping that the cook in this branch put more effort in cooking it better, not that I am a good cook but personally I hope to enjoy more next time.

This David's Team House branch feels to be the best branch out of all those I have already visited in terms of ambiance. I like the fact that although there are a lot of people, it doesn't feel like much of an annoyance. The food is really flavorful and the service is awesome!

One of my best place to dine with my office mates here at Davids Tea house Timog just across our office. My favorite is their Lapu Lapu with soy sauce and camaron rebusado their version of japanese tempura. Never miss to order Almond with lychee. Place and service is good.
The place offers delectable chinese cuisine. They have dumplings, soups, chicken fish pork dishes, and desserts. They were able to capture authentic chinese flavor that we are all fond of. The place also has good function halls or private room up for small gatherings. The ambiance is great giving the feel of chinese restaurant.

This is a nice location for a branch of David's. There is a lot of parking at the basement of the building, shared with Centerstage, if ever the street-level parking runs out. I've been here thrice and never had issues with finding a slot, even if it is along the busy Morato area. The food: lots of veggie fare to choose from. I had the polonchay, broccoli florets and kailan. All prepared very well. Don't miss out on the Soy tofu. Another tip: ask to have the chef prepare any of their noodle dishes and fried rice, without meat. He'll gladly oblige. The manager is always around, actively taking orders. Speak to him directly for special requests like this. What I really love about the place? Outdoor seating, where I can enjoy watching the busy rotunda while continuing to enjoy my tea after the meal. You can even order from the coffee shop right next door. I asked permission, and the manager even called their waitstaff for me.

Food pricing is also fair as well as the serving portions. My favorite dishes include Salt and Pepper Squid, Lechon Macau, Braised Beef and Steamed Prawn Dumplings (Hakaw). Just like other Chinese restaurants, they offer hot tea on the house. They also give out free Almond Jelly dessert to Birthday celebrants.

David's Tea House is always a pleasure to eat at. I'm a big fan of Chinese food and my house being just a few steps away from this restaurant always makes me want to go here for a quick midnight snack may it be their chicken feet, spareribs, siomai, or noodles. Generous servings for a worthy price.
I love the service, the ambiance and their dishes. I also love the late night service so if I crave for food at the wee hours of the evening, David's Tea House is the place to be.
Went out for some papers to complete and had quick lunch with my in-laws and wife. We know that servings for food spots like David's are ideal if dining with a big group. There was just 4 of us and our baby boy so we opted to get the rice toppings instead of the bigger dishes.

Beef with Ampalaya Rice Toppings (Beef not gamy, ampalaya not too bitter and crunchy. Yum!)
Fish Fillet with Bean Curd Rice Toppings (Just the right balance of salty sweet blend, good serving of fish fillet.)
Wanton Noodels (2 thumbs up from my baby boy!)
Pancit Canton (Canton is my one of my favorite pancit, sadly this was bad. Soggy and bland noodles then topped with sauce with too much water.)
Pros:
Big servings, can be good for sharing if not a big eater.
Food served hot and fresh.
Cons:
Time to cook was a bit long.
Pancit was a big let down! (Maybe cook was off this day.)
