Great food and ambience. Perfect for when you have foreign guests in QC. Would have given a 5 but disappointed with staff's reluctance to recommend a menu for the consumable amount. We asked twice since we were a big group, unsure of serving portions, and had little time to pre-order. I thought that would have been a great opportunity to "sell" their restaurant and their food.

Ambiance is homey. Feels like a classic filipino home. Service is great. Taste is awesome. I loved everything we ordered. Try their crispy baby squid and adobong kang kong. As for the dessert, i loved the mango chocolate torte but it was too frozen we had a hard time slicing it and had to eat layer per layer. But its still good!

Our Sunday lunch here was delicious!

Started off with their Easter complimentary quail eggs in a yummy soy sauce. Then came our Lumpiang Tinapa Flakes, which was ok.

Bistek Ilocano was excellent as was the Poqui Poqui- grilled eggplant sauteed with onions & tomatoes.

The dessert we took out - Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake - was sinfully rich. Moist chocolate cake with mocha cream filling and frosted with chocolate fudge icing.

One of Quezon City's best kept secrets. I would describe it as elegant and sophisticated, but down to earth as well. My faves are the poqui poqui, ginisang monggo, and crispy belly. They also serve Heny Sison's cakes. Can get quite busy especially on Sundays so be ready to queue for a while. Service is hit and miss. Ambience is gorgeous.

I've been here before years back. At the time, you can only order from their breakfast menu. Now on my second visit, I'm very pleased that their entire menu is available the entire day 😃 You can even order from their Merienda Menu (available 2pm-5pm) at 8am, subject to availability of course. You know me, from my previous posts that I'm quite partial to establishments that can serve their entire menu at anytime of the day 👍👍😁
The wait staff are fast and very accommodating. The demeanor they exude is I'm here to be of service so don't hesitate to ask anything. It's like your talking to your old buddy kind of vibe. Very friendly and cheerful. An example how attentive they are? My mom accidentally dropped her table napkin and before we can even ask for a new one, a female staff was already handing my mom a new one 😄👍 We weren't the only table at the time. I think there were at least three and each table had at least five or more guests. You can park on the street and there is a guard who will guide you.
The place was an old home converted into a restaurant. The interiors retained some of old home parts. In fact every part of the place is picture worthy and you'll see a lot of guests walking around the place like they're visiting a museum.
Be careful of what you order because each order can easily feed three to five. I didn't even get to order my Halo Halo because I was too stuffed. An order of a slice of their cakes can be shared by three. Each dish was tasty and well made. I definitely have to try more of their dishes on my next visit and hopefully I'll be able to order my Halo Halo.
You can also go shopping. They sell some bread and pastries. They have bottled sardines and atchara. They also have some nuts and other munchies.

I had my 19th birthday celebrated here. The restaurant has a vintage ambience. I’m an Ilocana which made their dishes taste just average to me but served good and presentable. Prices were quite expensive but not surprising because it’s a fancy restaurant. The staffs were very polite and I loved how they patiently waited for us to finish our food even if it was already beyond their operating hours. All in all, it was a great and memorable experience for me, most especially when the staffs surprised me by singing a cheery ‘happy birthday’ song whilst handing me a lovely red velvet cake with a candle on top.

Been to this place a second time, and I really chose to go back because the food is amongst the best. They are famous for their gising gising, kare kare and ohhh their crispy pata! But thd highlight of your meal will be the dessert: Mango Torte is the best!! I ordered the Red Velvet too, but their Mango Torte is priceless!

Victorino’s is a showcase of Ilocandia’s pride. From food to woven products and more. The place was really homey and classy. You can see piles of “Chichacorn” and their freezers filled with frozen Bagnet and processed meats from Ilocos.

It was merienda time, I just settled for Plain Waffle and ordered bacon and sausage as side dish plus brewed coffee. I was not impressed by the taste and texture of their waffle, but since I have not tried any of their main dishes, I could not rate their food based on my waffle experience. Their service charge was worth it, corteous and attentive waiters and security guards.

Victorino's in Tomas Morato serves many of the timeless classic Filipino food. The place is spacious and perfect for family meals that will leave you feeling great about your choices. The ambiance felt welcoming, and most of their food on the menu looked good with rice. It's a easy win!

Our lunch started out with Relyenong Alimasag (PhP 360)--fried stuffed crabs that were highly satisfying. Encased in crab shell, the crab meat was hearty and well-seasoned. The sweetness of the crab shone through without being overpowering. It could have tasted better when complemented with Green Mango Salsa, but alas, it wasn't available.

Next up was Kare-Kare (PhP 780), stewed ox tail and tripe in peanut sauce. It's a real treat and always a reliable order. Eating it with rice and bagoong made a scrumptious mouthful.

With rich, robust sauce, Adobo nga Baby Pusit (PhP 320) was another good standby. The baby squids had a nice texture.

The Bagnet (PhP 345) had a serious smack and it's no wonder why this dish is one of the bestsellers. Tasty!

Price are quite steep, but the food are all delicious and served high-quality.
Service was also great.

Other than actually going to a place, the best way to experience its culture is through its cuisine. Ilocano cuisine is influenced by the region’s major occupations: agriculture and fishing. Thus, its dishes are simple to prepare, down-to-earth, and uses fresh ingredients. Considering how long I’ve been working in the Tomas Morato area, it’s a wonder I’ve only been able to dine at Victorino’s just now. Luckily, together with two of my closest office friends, we ventured out to have a taste of Ilocos Sur at this resto.

Can't begin to tell you how I really really looooove their Fiesta rice! Better than Chowking's yangchow/chao fan (which up to this point was my fave rice! Haha). Victorino's Fiesta Rice is topped with crushed bagnet, onion leaks, crushed tinapa, tomatoes, eggs, and salted eggs. Yum yum! Victorino's serves delicious Ilocano food, that's for sure. Love their pinakbet too! They also have a great selection of desserts - but their Mango Chocolate Torte (that their servers would repeatedly say is their bestseller & a must-try) unfortunately for me is overrated (and expensive to say the least! But hey, I guess you're paying for the brand - it's Heny Sison's cakes that they sell). I prefer Conti's Mango Bravo over it.

What you should order:

Hubby and I were here for our Valentine’s Day late lunch. As expected, it was packed with groups and couples, but the staff attended to us well.

I liked the rustic vibe of the place. It looks dated, but the resto is well-kept.

We ordered the following:

1. Sinigang na Suahe - This was a sure winner! A must-order, indeed. The tamarind soup flavor was as rich as it can get, and the quantity of the suahe was generous for even two adults.

2. Ilocos Best - This platter is a combination of bagnet and different types of longganisa. I’m not a fan of bagnet, but hubby loved it. The longganisa variants were ok, though I usually want them more garlicky.

I always believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day so upon entering the place, I already had high expectation.

We decided to have our breakfast at Victorino’s. It is a homey restaurant that serves Ilocano-Filipino dishes. I love the interiors and the vibe of this place. We were there around 7am and the place was all ours. So if you want to have a quiet breakfast, be there as early as 7am.

The tapa is so good that comes with sukang Ilocos. We also tried the bagnet, the meat was tender and crispy. Serving is big so it’s definitely a plus.

Dining experience at Victorino’s is not complete without trying their cakes by chef Heny Sison. I don’t like carrot cake but this one’s an exemption. I liked that it’s not too sweet. We also tried the buko pandan.

Verdict: Will definitely come back. It is now one of my favorite restaurants in the metro. ♥️

Victorino’s primarily serves Ilocano food. Most of the food I’ve tasted are delicious! The Ilokano specialty Bagnet is crispy and juicy. It’s one of my favorites. I also always order the Longanisa platter. It has different kinds of Longanisa that include the variety of Vigan and other types. Kare-kare, gising-gising and sinigang dishes are also highly recommended.

And of course, the famous cakes. For me, the fairest of them all is the Macadamia Sans Rival cake. A whole cake costs P1,600. It’s worth it. Even the calories.

The place is spacious and the interiors are Ilocano inspired. There are function rooms on the second floor. There are also a lot of quality local products for sale.

Stepping into Victorino’s gives me a nostalgic whiff of the old streets of Vigan and the authentic native food of Laoag. I love feeling nationalistic.

We had breakfast here when my sister came home with her boyfriend for the holiday season. We really enjoyed the food, the ambiance, and the great service of their staff.

I was glad because they had decaffeinated coffee available, since I don't usually drink coffee. Giving it a 4/5 rating.

And then I ordered their tocino meal that came with rice and egg. It was delicious, I enjoyed it. Giving it a 4.5/5.

For dessert we ordered theirango Torte and the Pistachio Sansrival. Both were very delicious and good serving size to share with others. Giving both a 4.5/5 rating.

My niece and nephews definitely loved the place because: 1) the decor is so novel. They enjoyed looking at all the displays. 2) they adore the open bar especially since we sat in front of it and the service crew manning it was more than considerate. 3) the pastry shop is just on the side and the kids definitely loved the display of bread and cakes (the coffee display is a ++)

It's a mixed of Ilocano dishes so the fam enjoyed it immensely (we're Ilocano). The place is big enough for big families or groups. And the place definitely more than satisfied us. Food and experience-wise.

The place has this fine dining slash homey vibe which is interesting. The servers are welcoming and treats you like a part of their family. The Sinigang na tadyang is surprising because it's a different interpretation of the usual tangy and sour sinigang. Portion wise, they have a large serving per order so 2 main dishes will probably be enough for 5 persons or maybe that depends on what kind of dish you order?

Talagang naimas! Authentic Filipino dishes. Big servings and delicious dishes
Crispy Pata - Sinerve ng mainit pa, crisy ang balat, malambot ang laman
Kare kare - Anubaaa! Ang sarap neto. May ox tripe and vegetables. Ang sarap ng sarsa. Hindi maalat, tamang tama ang lasa lalo na pag pinartneran mo ng bagoong
Crispy Binagoongan - Not too salty. Crispy talaga ang pork
Fried Chicken - Isang buong manok talaga ang iseserve sa inyo kaya good for sharing.

*Ambience - Very homey yung place. Sa labas parang maliit lang sya but once you're inside magugulat ka at malaki pala yung place. They also have function rooms here.
*Service - Hooray for the fast service! Very friendly and accomodating din mga staffs nila dito. Very attentive din sila and always paying attention to their customer's request/s

Good food, great place with spacious parking. We ordered kare-kare, callos, kilawin tanigue (milk based instead of vinegar), ilocos express (gising gising), ginisar nga pusit (must try!), fiesta rice, and aligue rice. Every dish was flavorful and rich. Tables were spacious and the ambience was much like a traditional Filipino home. The only caveat for me is the high prices of the food relative to their portion sizes.

Victorino's is one of my most favorite restaurants !!! If you want a hint of elegance but on a laidback ambience, this is the place. You the chicken galantina stands out and salpicao tastes like wagyu beef ! But i have to say, the price range for two should be 1,500 to P2K. Especially if you want to taste their wide array of desserts, including cakes. The red velvet is painfully delicious.

Staff here are all very presentable & courteous. They also have a cozy (& even romantic) smoking area.

It needs valet parking service though. Always almost no space to park.

I've been hearing good reviews for this place and was able to try it out with the Hubby and some of our friends for an early lunch. Needless to say, we went home with our tummies full, and our smiles, wide.

The Place

It was spacious, with both modern and rustic touches. It was clean and well-maintained. The tables were distanced evenly.

The Food

It's the best of what Ilocano cuisine has to offer. The Bagnet was sinful, juicy, and really flavorful. My friends also enjoyed the Binagoongang Baboy and Kare-Kare. The rice was very filling. One serving felt two.

If you're hankering for home-style cooking from the North, then this is the restaurant to be. :)

Was here with family on 19 Nov 2016 because we celebrated Mom's birthday. Dad, who's a finicky eater, enjoyed everything we ordered.  We had 2 salad starters: ensaladang swa (pomelo in calamansi vinaigrette) and pako.  Mom was still talking about them the following day. My niece Reena asked for bagnet chips which came in thin, bacon-like strips with camote fries - and to think we ordered crispy pata as part of our entree!  What else did we order? Lumpiang ubod, miki (Ilocano noodle soup with egg), ginisar nga pusit, pinakbet ala Apo Lakay, ginitaan nga tilapia, callos and fiesta rice (topped with salted egg, tomatoes, scrambled egg and tinapa). The clear winners were the salads, lumpiang ubod, fiesta rice, baby pusit and brewed coffee. We brought home native honey, biscotti, egg biscuits or pacencia, camote chips from their deli. And the birthday girl delivered the verdict:  we will come back!

I have dined at Victorinos several times already but I will write about Heny Sison's dessert this time. Place is homey and nicely decorated. There are warm areas so just ask for a cold area if you prefer that.

Place is peaceful as it's late at night already. We just had coffee and dessert here after dinner.

The yema balls are my old time favorite. I make this when I was younger and it brings back happy memories of making it. 5/5

Mango torte is also good but there are sour mango pieces. 3/5

Apple pie has big chunks of apple with cheese and butterscoth sauce on the side. 4/5

Creme brulee cake is also good but i prefer a moist cake. In between creme layer's ok. 3.5/5

Are you looking for a traditional, authentic, family-style Filipino resto to take your lola or maybe some balikbayan relatives out for a date and get all nostalgic? If your located somewhere in QC, this is the place to be. This spot is just a stone throw away from Timog and hidden in the streets of Scout Rallos.

Simple and old school.
The food is infused with natural local flavors, mixed with classic, fresh and natural indigenous ingredients. You will find many Ilocano favorites here that would definitely meet expectations of your family or guests looking for this kind of food. Perfect for a weekend group lunch or dinner.

We ordered:
Pako salad
Gising gising
Fiesta Rice
Chicharon bulaklak
Kalderetang Kambing
Baby Pusit
Crispy Tadyang
Pinapaitan soup w pork intestines
Litson kawali

I reco all of them but you MUST definitely try their halo halo (see pic)! Its filled with melt-in-your-mouth macapuno and crunchy pinipig bits. Awesome.

The ambiance compliments the food. The furniture and fixtures are also authenticaly from Ilocos. Its somehow patterned to the design of the historic city of Vigan where pieces of classic Filipino-Spanish furniture were used. Some are even original restored antiques.

The service can still improve but since it was Sunday, i would understand it was quite busy for the service staff.

I would definitely come back with my family!

I had a good long lunch here with a friend.  It was my first time at Victorino's, but my friend had been there several times and knew what to order.  For starters, we had the pako salad, ordered ahead by my friend as I was running late. It looked woefully wilted  when I got there-- maybe, the fern leaves were already cooked in the vinaigrette.  For mains, we had the Ginitaan nga Sugpo -- a winner!  Paired with Fiesta Rice -- a pretty presentation (not sure if we had to mix it all).  For dessert, we had the must-try Mango Chocolate Torte.  A slice was big enough to be shared by two.
I plan to come back and try other items on the menu, and check out the different deli stuff they have on sale.

Despedida dinner for one of our colleagues here. A modern Filipino restaurant, more on the Ilocano way of cooking thus the choices of dishes. Place is pretty big and it's best for family occasions and get-togethers. I'd recommend you calling in advance for a reservation. Location is three blocks from Tomas Morato, quite a long walk if you did not bring your car.

Must-try for me is their Fiesta Plate. So good! It reminds me of Fire in the Hole's Spicy Dandan Rice except this is not spicy. Very picture worthy! Also try their Baby Pusit. Small serving though. 2-4 people can finish if you were ordering that alone. Lengua, Crispy Dinardaraan (their dinuguan with a twist- they used crispy bagnet as meat), Ginataang Manok were all so-so. Not bad.

For desserts, we had their yema balls. You buy them per piece and I'd recommend it to those sweet tooth. It's too sweet for my liking. Yema wrapped in caramelized sugar. The coating too sweet, the yema was yummy but sweet as well.

Victorino's is the newest venture of Chef Henny Sison. It is a Filipino Ilocano Fusion restaurant that also sells her specialty cakes, pastries and even native products! A favorite is their baby squid sauteed in olive oil. This dish falls in the appetizer category but will make you want more. The squids are very tender and the garlic and olive oil adds flavor and depth to it. Another highly recommended dish is the sinigang na tiyang ng bangus sa bayabas. Unlike the other sinigang dishes this one has a sweet and tangy flavor to it and even the taste of the bayabas fruit. Other must try dishes are the US Tenderloin salpicao, kare kare, adobo sa gata, tortang alimasag. Save room for desserts because of their heavenly cakes and dont forget to order their leche flan!

Bagnet, Adobo nga dalem ken baticuleng (liver and gizzard), Warek (sisig), Sinigang na Sugpo, and Callos. Servers need to be more attentive, but the food was definitely worth the drive from Alabang to QC.

Quite pricey version of Filipino food. Interiors are cute and the place is big enough for meetings and gatherings. It's worth a try considering all the fuss.

Victorino's is a popular Filipino restaurant in this side of QC. I've been there twice & I love the truly Filipino, specifically Ilokano (proud Ilokano here!), character of the restaurant.

Unfortunately, we are hard to please when it comes to Filipino food as we usually cook at home (not me specifically). So for the taste, I'd say good enough but nothing spectacular (ie., it did not beat our home-cooked meals). However, their desserts especially the lemon meringue & mango tortes were absolutely divine. I'd definitely go back here for desserts & their coffee is strong & decent as well.
Their staff are courteous however the time my husband & I went here, they weren't so attentive.

First impression: upscale place. My friends and I were looking for a restaurant we haven't tried yet and found this on Zomato. Filipino comfort food in a Filipino house turned restaurant with great staff -- nothing beats. It was the perfect place for us to catch up and refresh.

This place is interesting. It looked like a residence that was transformed to a restaurant. The service was also at par with professional and respectful waiters. We ordered Sinagang na Tadyang, Kinilaw na Tangigue, Pakbet, Ilocos sampler (bagnet and longanisa) and Crispy Tadyang. All was great. But I liked the latter best. Fried perfectly and the vinegar complemented the meat. Dessert by Heny Sison was also good.

New fave resto alert! Totally love the place, I suggest you reserve before going there. The place is packed during dinnertime. One of the best chicken tinolas i've EVER, like ever, tasted. The bagnet was also really good, much better than Tarlac's chicaron (i think). The seaweed salad had the right level of saltiness. The chicken liver and gizzard adobo was also good- not too heavy, not too oily. The servings are big pala. And if you want to buy Ilocos pasalubong, they sell them here including a variety of longganisa from different provinces. The mango chocolate cake was also delish and a slice is good enough for 3!😁 Our only fault was, we didn't eat the Vigan empanada while crispy so can't totally rave/rant about it.

Victorino's serves predominantly Ilocano dishes, mostly with twist, and it gives that homey feel, being a residence-turned-restaurant. The dishes cover all courses, from appetizers to desserts, at reasonable prices. The bagnet chips (a definite sure hit!) and prito nga paltat (fried catfish) are among the popular ones in the menu. I've also tried the sinigang na bangus sa bayabas, igado, fried garlic chicken fillet and pako salad, and they were good. "But wait, there's more!" Cake creations by Ms Heny Sison are available here. I've tasted the old-fashioned chocolate cake, mango chocolate torte, ube macapuno cake and strawberry shortcake... indescribable.

Nicely tucked the "Scout" neighborhood of QC, this place is definitely a foodie haven.  Place was packed when we got there on a Wednesday, around 7:30 pm.  Parking was a bit of a challenge.

Food was great, we had adobong pusit, pako salad, pakbet.  Also have to mention the bistek made the old fashioned way with laurel was a blast from the past.  Not to miss is their platter of different variants of longaniza with bagnet.

I had the tortang talong and that was above average.

Dessert display case showed cakes be Heny Sison, particularly the pistacio sans rival.  Not to moss os their leche flan too.

Service was impeccable despite being packed.

Packed on a mid week night? Mmmm......

I say no more!

Wow!

The restaurant exuded classic Filipino elegance without sacrificing the warmth of Filipino hospitality.

The food was a very good representation of Filipino cuisine. It is a must-taste for locals and foreigners alike. The food was exquisite!

We had:
1. Poqui poqui- I've never been a fan of eggplants, but this blew me away! The smokiness and the creaminess of the grilled eggplant tempered by the slight tang of the tomatoes, garlic and onions offer a simple yet delightful local starter.

2. Sinigang- spiced and tanged just enough to excite your tastebuds, the vegetables are prefectly half-cooked that I didn't even need to touch the meat!

3. Longganisa platter- an introduction to their various longganisa choices, all of them unique but similarly mouth-watering

4. Kare kare- the sauce is magical, creamy nutty, and thick, with an ounce of their bagoong... 2 more orders of extra rice please!

I have been to the North of the country twice and one thing is for sure – I love their food. From the Ilocos Empanada to the Papaitan, I keep coming back for more. So when my parents told me about this new place in Scout Rallos, QC that served Ilocano food, semi-fine dining style, I was convinced to try it.

When we arrived at the restaurant, I was happy to see that it was a restored old house, converted into a fine dining place. The lobby had a small history and some reads about the Ilocano culture and some things they were selling. As we were seated, I can’t help but admire how simple yet beautiful the interiors were.

My mom ordered her favorite dish, Ilocos Ensalada (P235), Lengua (P395), Bagnet (P330) and Poqui-Poqui (P170). As for me, I went for my all time favorite, Kare-Kare (P550). All of the meals that we tasted so far are really good plus the place’s ambience is just right. The desserts are to die for!

Overall, I will keep coming back for more Victorino’s. Even just for desserts. And Kare-Kare and maybe some Lengua too.

All items in their menu is a must try. The pastries are superb! You'll never go wrong, knowing it's made by Chef Heny Sison and her great staffs. I ordered the famous Mango Chocolate Torte for my mom's birthday and it tastes like heaven. I already invited my friends to come and visit this place. 😀 I'll get back soon! Hoping they'll have delivery service and have branches around the metro.

They have a decent nice homey feeling kinda place. The food is ok for filipino dish, a bit pricey for the normal but the taste is ok. I like their dessert too. The location is not bad, actually easy to find and not in the center of thomas morato. Quiet and maybe need to reserve a table for dinner time. There's not enough parking for guests but if lucky you could find a decent parking space near their restaurant.
