The food is great, and servings are really big. The ambiance is very relaxing, and it makes you want to just slowly eat your food, and enjoy other people's company. The staff are very friendly, and respectful (they know us already! hehe).

Reservation process : Easy as 1,2,3. They offered free drinks while they process my reservation.
Staffs: Friendly, responsive, and accomodating.
Food: Delicious!! I recommend you try their Hickory Ribs and Chicken Teriyaki
Place: Limited space for parties but very beautiful. You don't even need to decorate.
Overall: 5 stars.
Surprised at their big servings. Ordered tapa and lemonade. Both made my tummy happy. Generous with food and the staff made dining pleasant too. Love the ambience, cozy and relaxing, pleasing to the eyes. I would like to come back and try other dishes.. if only parking isn’t a challenge.

The place is perfect for intimate gathering. It's like the bag of beans of the metro. I tried hickory bbq ribs and the carbonara. I love the carbonara, it is on of the best that I've tasted so far. I wouod like to go back again and tried the other foods fron the menu.
Plana's is near quezon ave MRT. The place is a small quaint restaurant near the overpass. They serve good homey food here and the service is excellent and really fast. Food serving is extremely generous and their drinks are upsized as well!
Hi-top is on top of my supermarket list. It is the cheapest and almost every commodity is adequately-stocked from local to international brands. I go to Hi-top almost twice a week but this is the first time I tried this restaurant situated on the corner side of the grocery.
Plana’s Pantry serves all-day breakfast and a variety of homecooked dishes. The ambiance is cozy and the staff is just as pleasant. We stopped by for a quick lunch. Ordered Sisig, Tuna ala Pobre, and Avocado Ice Cream. The food is good and moderately priced. This restaurant is also a good venue for birthdays, baby showers, and small gatherings.
I usually end up in this place due to work. This place although small has a very beautiful ambiance. It has a small function room good for about 40 (we rented it once at 30k with free whole midnight chocolate cake - rich with ganache).
At a weekend night, this place is filled with people. I could tell that most of them are returning customers. It's a mix bunch of family, friends and daters.
At lunch time, it is quaint and there are hardly any diners.
I've tried a number of their dishes which are all good:
1. Carbonara 220 php
2. Beef Salpicao 260 php
3. Lengua 295 php
4. Hickory BBQ Ribs 285 php - sulit!
Tip: go for their pesto rice!
The venue is beside the Hi-Top Supermarket. The venue is quite small yet designed well. Chairs and tables are abit bulky though. The food was great. The bbq ribs, rice, beef and mushroom and carbonara pasta were nice. It was tasty and servings were just right. If only they have a well lit bathroom (only one to cater to a almost 50-capacity room), it would be better. Parking spaces are limited too. But all in all - not bad for a small cafe/restaurant
Attended a christening party here and the place was very ig-worthy!! The food was great and they have huge serving for everything. I personally liked the avocado ice cream, beef salpicao, carbonara, and their pesto rice.
This place is highly recommended for small gatherings since they have a separate room for the event and the place is very aesthetic as well.
Thanks to the typhoon, I found this place. Tiptoeing through flooded overpass, I sought refuge at HiTop supermarket - then i found Plana’s Pantry. The sisig pancit i ordered was tasty but the serving of sisig toppings were that generous. Then I tried their gooey chocolate cake, which was perfect for my black coffee. The cake was moist but still bit too sweet for my taste.
Place is very cozy and family friendly. Well lit and spacious. Tried their pasta and steak plate. Very delicious. Even the cheese and garlic bread is one of the best i ever tried. If you want a very good place to dine with your family, this place is highly recommended
My family and relatives really enjoyed on my nephew’s Baptismal reception yesterday. I highly recommend this restaurant as an event venue for maximum of 70-80 guests. Our food was great and exceptionally delicious. As well as the price is very affordable. Hickory ribs and ice cream are my favorites. Interiors is very beautiful. Most of all, the service was amazing! Waiters are very personable, prompt and very efficient. We’ll definitely go back! If there’s a score more than 5, I’ll give to Planas Pantry, QC! Well done! Considering my workplace for the last three years is located so near to Plana’s Pantry, it’s a wonder that I’ve only been able to dine here just last month. The place has a rustic shabby-chic feel to its decor. Walls and ornately carved furniture were mostly in white highlighted respectively by framed pithy sayings, teal cushions and various bric-a-bracs. It’s interiors were designed to look inviting and cozy.
I ordered hickory bbq ribs. It was tender and tasty. The pesto rice was also good.It complemented the ribs. As to the price, I must say it's sulit.
I think I found my new favorite restaurant. Although I've only tried a few items in their menu, I'd say that I'm satisfied with all of it and I'm looking forward to trying more. I tried their basil, tomato, and shrimp pasta. The flavors married perfectly and the shrimp tastes fresh and not "malansa". Their iced tea is also good because it really tastes homemade and not those powdered ones, plus it's good for two people already because it's served in a tall mug. I also tried their New York cheesecake and I think it's perfect because it's not too sweet and still has the tangy taste of the cream cheese, and the texture is very velvety. Another plus point for this resto's ambience. It's perfect for relaxing because of the shabby chic theme and the color combination they used for their interior is cool to the eyes. The only problem here is their limited parking, but it's worth the wait.

Been here by myself a while ago. The place is so cute. It is not that really crowded or maybe I'm just lucky that it's not crowded by around 12 noon. The food is a big thumbs up, shout out to their iced tea, it was a very good one (must try!!!) and also their fries (but i don't really like their ketchup or maybe i'm not a ketchup person). You guys must try to dine here, it's really worth it (plus the instragammable place)

Had the chicken teriyaki (P230) and bbq ribs (P285) I usually ask for sauces to enhance my food but this time I didn't need to ask for any. Not knorr not worcestershire (it was that flavorful!!!!)
If you're around Q. Ave or the tomas area please do visit them! It was worth the cheat day ❤
Only downside were the servers. They never go near you and you have to call like 2-4x before they catch your attention but nabawi naman sa food! Haha. Will try their desserts next time :)

This is an ideal place for a get-together with family or friends because of its homey and rustic feel.
Food are delicious and serving size is quite big, especially their mains which are served with pesto rice and veggies. Meat are cooked just right.
Service staff just took some time to get to our table even if there were not a lot of people during the time we were there (Saturday dinner).
We had dinner here and got the sisig laing combo and the grilled pork belly. Food is tasty and have lots of flavor. I suggest opt to have the plain rice as there are already lots of flavors in the viand and seems to clash with the rice with herbs (staff said it's basil). Just ask the server upon ordering since option is not available in the menu and we were not asked as well for our preference. Serving portion is big with its reasonable price. Service is good with friendly staff.
Honestly I didnt think the food would be this good. The place used to be Henny Penny which is also a resto/bakery. Sorry for the poor pictures haha. Only pictured a few since I was really hungry already.
Interior- very simple, sorta classy and has great lighting and ambiance.
Service- noticed that all the waiters were men. The service was really good and fast
Food- i ordered the lamb which is for me better than Greeka Kousina's lamb and yes thats a damn good compliment. My mom ordered the Gindara and tota ordered the Hickory ribs. Both were also good. The gindara wasnt that fresh but taste wise the chef did a fine job to mask it.
Price-5/5. Very affordable for the amount and quality.

Shabby-chic, homey interiors. Food is very tasty and portion size is big! Definitely a go-to place for those who love to eat! Will definitely come back to Planas Pantry!
Been passing by this Resto when ever we go to hi top for groceries. This time we are hungry so we ate here before going to grocery. Food is good and affordable and big serving. Drinks are affordable but tasted like nestea ice tea. Service is fast but servers stay all in the counter.
Quaint set up and good food that definitely wont hurt your wallet!
Had their Beef salpicao with corn and carrots and pesto rice (4.5/5) that's only 280.00 if I'm not mistaken 😍 only downside with my meal was the iced coffee. I didn't like it but it comes in a huge tall mug and only costs around 90.00.

Surprisingly good food for a reasonable price! I had the flavorful gindara, which was enhanced by the pesto rice (5/5!), while my husband had the pork barbecue (3/5). We were also pleasantly surprised by the size of the iced tea--it was mega-sized indeed. And afterwards, we got to do our grocery-shopping at Hi-Top next door. Will come back.

Pesto rice is a winner! It made the the very simple tapa and egg a champion! Aaaand their ice cream is a must! The choco-crumble is equally satisfying and craving-worthy as it is chewy and flavorful. I like it that you dont have to just let it melt on your tongue but you can actualky chew bits of it, it's like eating an ice cream and a brownie at once. Winner! The place is so chic! It is very pleasing to the eyes because of the white furnitures and encouraging notes decorated all over the place. This is perfect for girl bondings!
This is a great place to bond with family and friends. The food is good and reasonably priced. They even don't charge for service. It's sad though that only few diners come here on weekends.
The food that I definitely recommend is their Hickory BBQ Ribs and their Lengua. Anyway, I brought a group of friends and they also loved this place. They regarded it as super "sulit." P.S. Delicious ribs!!! Super sulit: for 285php, you get a big plate of ribs with 2 sides and a supersized iced tea. Their ice cream flavors were divine! Got to taste their Mocha Chips, Chocolate Rumble, and Cookie Caramel.
Ambiance was nice, too. It was quiet and the interior decorations were the cutest. Will definitely be back 👌🏻
At Hi-top Quezon City, an unexpected place can be found. Me and Boyfriend had a dinner at Plana's Pantry. The place is simple and chic and has many saying at the wall (like the one you can purchase at papelmelroti). We had a Hickory Barbeque ribs, Lengua, fries and a supersize ice coffee.
The hickory barbeque ribs is great with pesto rice. They have a generous serving of rice. For the supersize ice coffee it is good for 2 person for only 85 pesos. The meal range from 85 to 300. The place also offer a rent for the event and catering service with consumable food and drinks. I can say if you want savory dishes and a good place, go to plana's.
Place has very nice ambiance - fine dining feels. Food tastes great and was served generously - as in supersize! As an iced coffee lover, I didn't love the iced coffee, but the iced tea tastes amazesome. The ice cream is a must try! Menu has few choices, but will definitely come back to try everything!
Fave comfort food for lunch with BFF & workmates. Big serving, to share, yet affordable. Very courteous staff. Ambience is super duper elegant, with a lot of food for thoughts written all over the place. Very clean. All-time fave are pork bbq on skewers, hickory ribs bbq, bbq pork belly, tuna ala pobre, grilled gindara, sausage linguini & shrimp pasta.

Planas Pantry Sgt. Esguerra Branch Food Review: Comfort Food + Homey ambiance
My friends and I recently agreed to meet up and try the newly opened restaurant along Sgt. Esguerra Street in South Triangle, Quezon City [just beside Hi-Top Supermart] called Planas Pantry. The said establishment is like a breath of fresh air from the rows of establishments because it basically stands out. With its glass panels and awesome homey ambiance, Planas Pantry seems to beckon one from the outside.
The minute I stepped inside Planas Pantry, it felt like I was being brought back in time to my teen years. Why is that so? Well, Planas Pantry is reminiscent of my favorite recycled stationery store as a teen, remember Papemelroti? The said establishment is Pinterest-perfect. It also exudes a positive vibe with wonderful décor to boot. With a warm and friendly welcoming ambiance aside from great menu selections and healthy drink choices. The food is reasonably-priced too.
Servings were generous and each meal was a delight from the sides and starters like Planas Pantry’s Sisig with Laing, the pasta and noodles: Carbonara and Tomato, Basil and Shrimp Pasta to the mains: Hickory Barbecue Ribs, Lamb Masala, Beef Salpicao [a must-try] and Lengua. Everything is an absolute treat!
Don’t forget to save some space for the dessert! Try their homemade ice cream flavors in Chocolate Rumble, Mocha Chips, Strawberry Lane and Cookie Caramel. They’re all fantastic! I am diabetic, but I had decided to cheat that night because I could not simply resist their ice cream, yes that’s how good it is.
