Been here for the first time and was surprised to find a gem. Organic food at affordable prices... I ordered their chix BBQ which costs only 160php...san ka PA... Their dining area opens up to the garden entrance which adds a cozy ambience to the place... Will try out their other fares next time...

The ambiance was good.
Chicken inasal was quite bland and dry. I liked how their tapa tasted like adobong puti. Their service also needs some improvement.

Food is delicious. It's a fusion of Philippines known dishes with a twist. With its very cozy ambiance you'll definitely going to enjoy the food. The place is surrounded with a well manicured garden. I'll be coming back to try other dishes.
We enjoyed our dining experience here. The staff was very accomodating and friendly with the kids. The food is freshly made and in good quality. This is where you should take the whole family to bond and enjoy the meal. @caldereta @lenchonkawali @enseladang manok @nuezcacafe
I've been here a couple of times already and I always leave with satisfied appetite. I highly recommend their crispy tawilis and lechon kawali. 👌
Nuezca Cafe is my favorite go to place when I have casual meetings. It has a serene homey ambiance making diners feel like they're just eating at home. You can even see how your food is cooked with the see-through kitchen. Everything you order here is organic so it's a health buff haven. They even sell out there farm goods for a reasonable price, so drop by if you want to cook your own organic food.
Today, I had a catching-up session with a friend so we decided to just order light food. Haha. As usual, the spring rolls didn't disappoint. It's my first time to order the monte cristo sandwich, i didn't like it. 🙁 it was too greasy and oily and i think it was overcooked so i wasnt able to taste much the cheese and the ham inside. The nachos however were great, the dip was gracious in serving and the combination of the ingredients was put together. It's a thumbs up order.
The last few times I was here, i was able to taste their kare-kare and chicken sisig and they are highly recommended. Plus the fruit shakes of course! They have melon and avocado!
Nuezca Cafe is the go to place if you want a relaxing, healthy and delicious dinner after long working hours. 👍🏼
Found this seemingly hidden restaurant along Maginhawa. Love the homey atmosphere here. The al fresco dining is a romantic place for couples and the bahay kubo is perfect for groups. It is a normal sight in Maginhawa to dine into a house turned to restaurants.
On the other hand their food is really organic. You'll know it when you taste the meat; a bit tough and naturally tastes better.
Sisig is a good one. Very flavorful and sizzling hot! Sinampalukang manok is quite good but i suggest they must put samplaoc talbos to make it more sour and a good add on the color of the dish. It looks a bit boring.
Lemongrass juice is a favorite. Love the combination of Lemongrass, calamansi juice and honey. Very refreshing.
The best part of the night is the service. We simply love one of their server named Beth. Very energetic, engaging to guests and a good asset of the restaurant in terms of service. She has this potential to work for high end restaurants. I would not wonder if this girl has a huge number regular guests.
We ordered sinigang na salmon, sizzling bicol express, tokwat baboy and brown rice. The food was okay but nothing really special. No MSG. The place was really nice and homey. It had both air-conditioned and al fresco dining areas. They even have a second floor.
They advertise themselves as an organic restaurant.. i especially love their bulalo.. we also ordered sizzling sisig and their grilled pusit
Leche flan was very good!!

The menu here is absolutely Pinoy, very timely as we celebrated a despedida party for a churchmate who's going to migrate to Canada. We definitely enjoyed the dishes, patok ang kanilang sinampalukang manok! The nachos had the right spicy level and their rice serving is generous. Plus, the waiters were very friendly and the personnel who answered my phone calls for reservations was very attentive. And the ambiance was very homey because of all the kubo and garden-inspired interiors. I also liked the way how they utilized wooden panels, very classy. I would definitely come back here.
When we first heard about Nuezca Cafe, an organic restaurant, we got excited. We wanted to try out something a bit healthier, compared to all the kinds of junk food and comfort food along Maginhawa. We tried their Stuffed Organic Chicken and I think it was pinakbet (not sure, I forgot) but it had veggies and shrimp. They were all good. A bit overpriced compared to your regular meals, but I guess that's the price you pay for eating organic food.

A hidden gem amid the popular food hub, this nature-inspired restaurant allows you to experience delicious Filipino favorites while hanging out with friends in peace. My friends and I actually found this place by accident, and it's a good thing we did. We only tried their Pininyahang Manok for a hearty lunch and it was indeed delightful to the appetite. We'll surely try their other dishes next time.

Very homey, well because it's a house turned into a restaurant. The interiors are nice and staff were courteous. Went here for lunch. I love their organic food, nothing we can't cook in a filipino home tho.

A semi-garden setup which is refreshing from the usual hole-in-the-wall foodie places in Maginhawa.
What piqued my interest to try this one out was their tarps proudly announcing that they serve organic. Since I have GERD, I'm forced to be picky with what I eat and so I always delight in finding places that serve healthy options.
I've only been here twice - and both times I loved the food :) Would've been back more often if only parking isn't a problem - which is the case in almost all foodie places along Maginhawa anyway.
Prices are very reasonable. Will try to visit again soon since I miss their avocado shake. Oh and the lasagna was great!
P.S. bring cash since they don't accept credit cards. The last time I was there, I was with a friend and I left my wallet at home so she offered to pay in the mean time but she didn't have cash either and only had a credit card (don't judge us lol we're reviewing for the bar exams and are often sabaw and forgetful). But as it turns out - they don't accept credit cards :o Lol good thing she found some bills in her car or else idk what :))
Nice place, good ambience and friendly staffs. Perfect place to chat with your loved ones. Very relaxing music. Food was good. Loved their organic carbonara and leche flan. 😊 my boyfie, enjoyed their Sinampalukang manok. But he more like it if its more, maasim hehe.
Nice cozy place. Tasty food. Service is also good, the waiters are attentive. They serve organic food which is something unusual so you will be curious to try and you will definitely not regret.
Me and my friends ate here just yesterday. It was the first restaurant we've tried in maginhawa. We ordered the pininyahan chicken. Which was quite nice and buttery. The ambience is lovely with very soothing interior. The best part is everything is really FRESH and they serve organic poultry and pork so you know you're getting good food for your bucks.
This place is really great. It feels like your at home. The food is delicious and is worth the price. We have tried one of their bestseller which is the pininyahang manok and it really tastes good. Definitely a must try one.
Nuezca Cafe is a house converted into a restaurant. The al fresco area used to be the balcony or veranda. It's beautifully decorated with flowers and other plants. The place is a good choice for romantic dates. They have an air-conditioned area but we chose to stay outside to maximize the ambiance of the place.
The food here is organic so for those of you who are into the healthy or clean diet this is a good choice. The price is reasonable although not everything is the menu is worth it's cost.
We started with the chili con carne nachos which is priced for P290. For me, it's a little overpriced for the size of the serving. The chili is more sweet than spicy so i didn't like it. It wasn't what i expected. I ordered hazelnut coffee which didn't disappoint. I love my coffee black and bitter. Our main dish is the organic bacon carbonara. It wasn't to my liking because it's a bit sweet. It's not that it's not good, it's just not my taste. I haven't tried most of their dishes but i would go back and maybe try the bestsellers that they offered us.
The staff was very friendly with big smiles on their faces but the service was slow. The service water took so long to come considering it's usually the first thing you serve your guests. The waitstaff seems unsure of the orders as well. She kept asking if we ordered this or that.
Ambiance 5/5
When you first enter Nuezca Cafe, the first thing that will capture your attention is the beauty of the place. It's a great place to go for a date because of the romantic feel of their garden. We decided to eat at the tables outside because it had the best view. We started with the Chili con carne nachos, priced at p290. If you ask me, quite expensive for nachos. I could easily get that for less than p200. The chili con carne tasted more sweet than spicy. I didn't rrally enjoy it but people who like sweet food probably would. We moved on to their organic bacon carbonara priced at p200, reasonable price and reasonable serving portion. Once I tasted it I was surprised! Sweet again! The chef must really love sweet food because both the chili con carne and carbonara were really sweet. Taste wise, I didn't really enjoy myself.
We ate there on a friday afternoon so there were not a lot of people yet, I believe there were about 3 tables there. Service was not so nice because it took 20 minutes and 3 follow ups just to get us some service water. It was hard to call the attention of the waitstaff as well. The waitress also kept coming to our table to confirm which orders were ours, it seemed odd considering there were only a few tables that time. The waitress' hands were akso shaking when she served our coffew which made it spill a bit, coffee mug was also a bit dirty. They were all very nice though, all the waitstaff had big smiles on their faces (just not too attentive).
I do want to come back to try their chicken since everyone seems to be talking about it.
The place was really homey. It had both al fresco and air-conditioned dining areas. They even have a second floor.
I expected them to have black or brown rice seeing that they were promoting healthy and organic food, but to my dismay, they had none.
You can really taste the pineapple in the Pininyang manok , but the parts that they served were a bit small. It's good to pair with rice since it has a lot of sauce, but it lacks thickness.
The grilled pusit and grilled tuna belly were amazing! It's cooked just right and the sauce that comes with it is just perfect!
The tortang talong just tasted normal. We ordered it just to have vegetables on our table to complete the meal :)
Don't forget to get the cucumber and lime pitcher! Refreshing! ❤️
Good food, good people, very good place, you would'nt expect that there were such a nice breezy restaurant along maginhawa until you go to their place, me and my friend ordered pork sisig and grilled pusit which really compliment each other, partnered with strawberry and avocado fresh shakes, couldn't wait to visit again and try their other organic putahes while having small talks with my friends, two thumbs up!

Food that tastes like home. Yummy and comforting. I love that everything is organic! Service was fast. Lots of items were good for sharing. Solo diners can also find stuff good for one.
Good food good ambiance. Their Pininyahang Manok is really good and a must try for anyone new to this resto. Can't wait to try their laing. Will definitely be back.
it is a simple house which is converted into a simple and a refreshing restaurant...The ambiance of the location suits very well for their food specialties...which guests do really want.it's good and i'm pretty sure that i'm gonna visit again..
Its a great place to bring your friends and family. Couple with great food and good conversation and you'd surely come back for more. :)
Love the calderetang kambing! Cheap price and big serving, also try their laing!
Nuezca on Maginhawa is a house converted into a restaurant. Walk up some stairs into a garden with umbrella-shaded tables and into the restaurant, which, save for the glass partition dividing the kitchen from the dining area, still looks and feels like a house.
The owner of the restaurant, Mrs Nuezca, happened to be around. Our conversation came to how they use only organic chicken and pork in the menu, sourced from their own farm in San Narciso, Zambales. They plan to introduce organic lechon somewhere down the line.
We were encouraged to order one of the specialities of the house, pininyahan chicken, or chicken cooked in a pineapple-flavored gravy, to which we added a laing and iced tea.
Look how the bones in the chicken aren't brittle, the chicken here isn't full of hormones, we were told as ate the chicken. The chicken felt mildly overcooked, and the sauce slightly overseasoned, but you can sense what the chef - son of the owner - was aiming for. The laing's flavor, built on aromatics, coconut and sauteed pork, did justice to the taro leaves.
First impressions count, and this warrants a second date. There's lots more to try on the menu, including their sinigang and kare-kare.
Great location if you prefer somewhere quiet and not too crowded
Great place to get loaded with organic food and unwind. The food taste great, you must try them all. The owner is very accommodating . Five thumbs up!!!
