#R5Reviews : Noodle Soup + Spring Rolls Pho Hoa
Let's go Vietnamese this lunch. Recommending you their best seller, Pho Chin Nam Gan, Bo Vien (Php 310/S, Php 350/L) -rice noodle soup with brisket, flank, tendon and meatballs. Partner it with shrimp and pork fresh spring rolls (Php 175 per 8 pcs) for additional crunch. Pho Bo Kho/Beef Stew (Php 320/L) is also good!
The broth is comforting and you can actually request for a FREE one time refill. Choose between sriracha and hoisin sauce to adjust the taste.
We love eating here as the food tastes fresh and service is good. We usually come during Sunday for early dinner when we try to be healthy. For this visit, we ordered Vermicelli Bowls, Rice with Pork and Spring rolls, and Pho Bo. Serving size was enough to feel full. Water was likewise refilled without calling out the waiters. Will most likely come back.

Had beef brisket pho & shrimp and pork spring rolls -- both tasted healthy, fresh & delicious!
Their hoisin and sriracha sauces are perfect for the beef on the pho.

I like this branch in particular since they offer al fresco dining! Favorite is the fried lumpia. One order is only for me I don’t like to share! Haha soups are good too! Squeeze the lime to elevate the flavors! Best when consumed hot!
It was quite a full house when we went last month. We chose to dine at the al fresco area since the air-conditiong in-store was too cold.
My boyfriend's craving for Pho was satisfied, and the food I ordered was also good.
Haven't visited Pho Hoa for the last 4 years, but I was not disappointed.

This restaurant chain is a favorite for me and hubby. The foods are always refreshing and reliable. This branch in Eastwood is nice with a lot of al fresco seating. The only down side is it takes a while for the waiters to notice you outside
Great place to have a good meal with the family. The food is good, the service good as well. Must try for those who wants to experience Vietnamese cuisine.

My go-to restaurant whenever I feel like eating healthy. Pho Hoa makes dieting a breeze. Vermicelli bowls are my usual go-to's because it doesnt cut out on portion, taste and texture.
Authentic pho is hard to find, luckily pho hoa isn't. They have one of the most authentic pho's we've tried in Manila. They serve it with just the right amount of mint leaves, lemon, and bean sprouts,
What to Order:
Pho Chim Nam - Beef Tendon and Flank
Rich broth best with lots of mint, lemon, and sriracha
Fresh Spring Rolls
If you don't want a salad, try this instead. Their peanut sauce is excellent.
Pork Lettuce Wrap
We're suckers for anything wrapped in lettuce. This one is our favorite.
Pho hoa might be one of the first Vietnamese restaurants in Manila, and it is still thriving because of their excellent service, good food, and consistency in flavor.
love the food here. price is affordable and the quality of food is great and healthy too 😍 so if your on a diet, you can eat here everyday. the rolls is a must try. i like the dip and the vinegar ☺

Consistently serving quality and inexpensive Vietnamese Pho. Their Pomelo and Shrimp Salad can be improved, but still good. Chicken wings were phenomenal. Crunchy and moist even after 30 minutes. I always have Fresh Vietnamese Rolls when dining in a Vietnamese Restaurant but their version is one of the most UNDERWHELMING. It can still be improved. Servers were not that attentive as well. Sayang masarap pa naman food.
One of the restaurants with best service I've seen, although the staff are a bit chatty at times. Food is good - it's our go-to comfort food when one or both of us are under the weather. Price is okay for the quantity.
If I want a quick oriental noddle fix, this is my go-to. My order everytime? Pho Chin, Nam (brisket and flank pho). The al'dente noodles and the tender brisket is on-point! The server is also generous as he gave my daughter a free pho noodle in a small bowl. My daughter also accidentally broke one of their glass but they did not charge us extra.
Let's rate them shall we?
Food: 4/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Value for money: 4/5
We had great experience with our kid. Having a high chair is a plus. Food is served hot and great tasting as always. I always go for Pho Hoa for healthy eats. This branch has a very responsive team -- waiter and cashier. Place is not so crowded, though we ate there around 8pm already. Highly recommended.
I love their beef stew, I always go for the large size😂I love the dressing of their pomelo shrimp salad😋They have the best lemonade 👍🏼The best Vietnamese resto to go to👏🏼
If I'm craving for pho and spring rolls, this is my go to place. It's not really spectacular but the service is fast, food is affordable and I would say that it's as authentic as you can get to Viet food without the hassle of going to more authentic yet inconspicuous Vietnamese restos.
After a stressful start to the day (it was Friday!), my officemates and I decided to delve in Vietnamese food. This is a far cry from the Korean and Japanese food I've been having lately.
Here goes my review.
Food. 4.5/5
As was my custom, I ordered a chicken meal, Com Ga nuong Cha Glo (grilled chicken and spring rolls with rice). The chicken itself tasted ordinary, just like any grilled chicken in other restaurants. However, the taste levelled up when I dipped it in the Viet spicy sauce (I forgot the name unfortunately). The spice is unreal it made my head sweat untimely. Whew.
Aside from the chicken meal, my companions and I shared a helping of their Chiem Nam Meo (breaded mushroom) and Gol Cuon (spring rolls). The mushroom was awesome! Though it tasted like an ordinary Filipino junkfood, it was really great. The spring rolls I didn't really appreciate that much because of its seafood element. On the plus side, the spring rolls was like a burst of colors in the mouth with its varioua elements. Good thing the crab didn't overwhelm my senses. Had it been otherwise, I might've regurgitated in no time. The spring roll dip was also good.
Ambiance. 3.5/5
The place felt a bit too hot. It seems that thr airconditioning unit wasn't working, or is probably too old. The place was also a bit too cramped, it was a bit difficult navigating through the varioua tables.
Service. 3.5/5
It was really disappointing. The service was a bit slow. I had to wait for a while for my food considering we weren't informed how long it'll take to serve. Although it was a Friday lunchtime, the place wasn't as full but our server was also giving us poor service. Our simple requests, like service water took a while to get served.
Price. 3/5
Although the food was good, the price didn't justify it. Spending 295 for the grilled chicken to me is a bit too much even though there was nothing spectacular about it. And ugh, that service, really disappointing.
Overall a nice place to satisfy your hunger and you won't mind visiting this place, repeatedly
Ambience: 3,5/5 - Place is decently designed however could have been done better with lil bright lights and wall paints. Considering its located at heart of Eastwood, they could have better encashed this opportunity.
Food: 4/5 - They serve delicious Soupy noodles, I have tried 2 of them, Chicken and Sea food, found both of them different and tasty. Best part of my meal was the dessert, Mango crepe with Ice cream, it was tasty and nicely presented :)
Price: 3.5/5 - I found it slightly expensive however on a second thought, if you'll compare it with other eat out in the vicinity, it's reasonable. This is certainly not a show stopper
Cheers !!
I have had eyed this resto for quite a long time just for my sole reason of tasting their Phó. For some reason I didn't want to go as it would be their Phó that I would be eating for the first time, and I didn't want it to be just on some random occasion—I wanted it to be special, (you get my point). Then just recently I finally gave in! I know, it was one of my best decisions ever! Haha. It's everything I've imagined, heck, it even outdid my expectations.
It's a veggie haven that screams healthy. The food looked so good I immediately dug in as soon as it was placed on the table.
I've only tried three dishes: fresh spring rolls, mango and prawn salad, and the-most-recommended Phó on their menu. I've yet to try some of their dishes, as well as their dessert. I can't wait to do it again to be plunged into another Vietnamese food culture experience. 💛
Rainy bed weather days call out for some soothing comfort food leaning towards the soup type to bring some warmth. There is a wide range of restaurants out there to suffice the need for soups offering Bulalo, Ramen, chowders, Minestrone, briskets, vegetable soups, noodle soups and many more. One particular soup that got me drooling as I woke up this morning was of the Vietnamese type - PHO. There are a couple of Vietnamese restaurants in the market but my favorite one is Pho Hoa.
Pho Nam, Chin, Gan, Bo Vien - A large bowl of steaming hot noodle soup made up of glass noodles (which sets it apart from other noodle soups in the market), flank, tendon, thin strips of beef and meat balls in a rich beef broth. This bowl was served with some fresh bean sprouts, basil and lemon in a separate plate. You have full control of how much of these fresh sides you would want to add. You can also throw in some chili sauce, if you want that spicy kick.
Chicken lollipops are so much fun! I simply can't resist them whenever I see them in any menu. These beautiful pieces were perfectly fried and were crispy. They came with a sweet soy sauce based dip. One delightful appetizer for the young and young at heart.
Goi Cuon - Fresh spring roll with shrimp, pork, glass noodles, carrots, cucumber and some other herbs. They also have a vegetarian version for this. The rolls came with a salty peanut dip complementing the fresh vegetables.
Com Thit Nuong Cha Gio - Tender grilled pork with fried spring rolls and rice. Their fried spring rolls are also must try!

Pho Hoa is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant to date. Their food is filling yet offers a light feeling. For a quick lunch break today, I had the dried vermicelli with grilled pork, vegetables, and fried spring roll. I was surprised that the small bowl was enough to satisfy a hunger.
The vermicelli was light to the bite, and since it was flavorless, it was a good absorber of flavors from different toppings. The spring rolls was really good as it gave a good crunch, texture, and saltiness. The vegetables are crunchy and fun to eat. The sweet vinegar sauce was a great complement. Overall it was really good and value for money.
We always go here whenever we have meetings. Great food, and good service. I love their spring rolls. Servings are big so I suggest you dine with at least 2 friends to be able to sample more dishes!
Pho Hoa is one of the pioneer restaurants of Eastwood and my family has been going here for as long as I can remember. My favorite dish will always be their chicken noodle soup because it reminds me of my youth and the good old days. Now that I don't eat meat however, I only stick to the noodles and veg. My other favorite dish is their fresh spring rolls. I could honestly eat them the whole day.
Even as the years pass, Pho Hoa's service and food remain as wonderful as it was when they first started. The veggies always taste fresh and I always leave feeling content and incredibly full.
Not much of a Pho fan, but the Vermicelli bowls is a must try, esp. if you're a veggie lover. So good for take out. Recommend it for a nice meal in front of the tv with a good movie or a game.
Another go to place. Fresh spring roll, fried spring roll, stuffed chicken, vermicelli bowl, buko pandan, lemonade are my staples. I want to try the other stuff, but I keep going bacj to these.
This is my go-to place when I want to eat something fresh and healthy. Vermicelli bowl, fresh spring roll are just some of my favorites here. #yum

A very good place for Vietnamese food!!! Ofcourse they had a lot of branches na so they are very easy to find. Food is excellent. Pang maharlika. :)))
No fail Vietnamese place. The only Vietnamese restaurant that got the bun right and used Vietnamese fish sauce. Better value for money than Bawai's and Ba Noi's. My only complaint is that I wish they put more noodles in their bun. It's overwhelming with vegetables.
My absolute and only go-to place for my favorite Vietnamese comfort food. (Not that I know of any other good Vietnamese Noodle Soup food chains). My main staples are the following: Flank, Tendon, and Brisket Pho! A must-try! Marinated Prawns with Grilled Pork on Rice (You can NEVER go wrong with this one) and Pork Stew with Beancurd and Egg which is basically like Pork Adobo that is more on the sweet-salty side. And I love the fact that they serve freshly squeezed lemonade in a tall glass. Restaurants should really start serving fresh lemonade as lemons are locally abundant in the groceries nowadays.
The Mango Prawn salad is one of the best salad of Pho Hoa that i ever tasted. Vermicell with grilled chicken & fried rolls is so heavenly delicious, I love the taste of Vietnamese hot coffee, price is just okay service is good.
Everytime I crave for asian soup, I always go to pho hoa. I'm really not into spicy, but I really love the mild kick of spice on their bowl of beef brisket pho. It doesn't matter what branch I visit, the flavor is very consistent. But my real favorite is the spring rolls.

Never get tired of eating in this favorite restaurant of mine. The cheesecake is my all time favorite ever here. Its nothing compare. The fishbowl ice tea is good to share with friends

We started with the Pomelo and Shrimp Salad which was amazing. The dressing tasted like a lighter version of vinaigrette and it perfectly compliments the dish. Another appetizer was the Chicken Drummettes, it was the usualy fried chicken, the dip was good though. Tried Chili Shrimp plate for the main course, it wasn't chili for my taste (the hot sauce helped though) but the sauce was nice, the shrimp was generously served and the garlic rice was very tasty. Not all the staff were smiling though, that's a no-no for me.
I love Pho and the subtle flavors of Vietnam. Savoring the hot soup on a rainy day pushes all stress away. I have already tried their Seafood Pho and Beef Stew, and also Caramelized Chicken Drumettes and Fresh Spring Rolls. Everything's good!
The Pho at Pho Hoa is the bomb. For a tasty, meaty and delicious noodles, come here and try the Pho Nam Gam Bien. It has tender beef strips, meatballs, tendons and all the Vietnamese Noodle trimmings. The noodle soup itself is a meal.
I always love the noodles, and pho hoa is a place where i feel comfortable dining. the place is cozy, the staff are accommodating considering i always ask for a refill of basil and stuff for my seafood noodles, if you are a heavy eater like me, always order the large bowl since it could feed a couple and the price for me is reasonable. You dine inside or outside of the restaurant
Now it must be said that I am a big fan of Pho Hoa, in fact Irish and I love their fresh spring rolls so much we order them all the time, we even send our maid to get them for lunch when we are feeling lazy. Really they are that good, and I appreciate that they will make them with chicken for us as my darling Irish hates pork(..)
However, some of the items are misleading and others are just plain bad. If you have pictures of food on your menu it better recognise the dish served to you. Furthermore, Pho Hoa......how can you make fresh spring rolls so well, but mess up a sandwich!!!!!!!!! Ladies and gentlemen I am not joking, I ordered a sandwich the last time we where their and the bread was so hard it held an entire table of silverware without flinching WTF!!!!!!!! See attached photos below. It was nice that they didn't charge us, which I didn't ask for. I wanted to pay but they wouldn't let me, which was weird. Afterall it was rather cheap, and I was going to call them on it regardless. I guess in some cases you really do need to take the good with the bad.
whenever we eat here, we alwasy order the noodle soup and kung pao chicken....the noodle soup was delicious and the beef was tender...however, for some reason, everytime i eat the noodle soup, i get really sooo thirsty after....i'm not sure why but it's the same feeling everytime...
the kung pao chicken, on the other hand, is good and to my liking especially the level of spiciness..it's just enough...
Delicious and Yummy! That's what i can say. One of the best restaurant in Eastwood City and the Vegetarian Spring Rolls, I bet everyone would love it. Their food is worth it and it wont make you fat even though you might end up leaving the restaurant with a full tummy! their noodles with bean sprouts deserved to get a top box too!
Best to try if you are health conscious! lol
Before I end my review.. You might wanna follow my suggestion
Order their Fresh Lemonade! (It's the best)
Don't settle for their service water , that's a tap water and it has different taste, its noticeable if its not cold.
And Please, Don't try to order their coffee! (they use condense milk as a creamer and it's not healthy at all).
