Selection is varied and lots of nice different takes on the usual chinese dishes. The egg yolk pao is to die for. Could not get enough of it even though I was already so full. Will have more of it on our next visit. The discount promo is a welcome treat for late and hang out eaters.
Causeway congressional branch is my favorite Chinese seafood restaurant every now and then, The staff are very accommodating that's why I keep coming back to that place.
Best dimsum in town!! 😋 Yung dadayuhin mo talaga everytime na gusto o nagtatakaw ka 😆 Mapapa uhm ah ahhm ka sa sarap! Lalo na yung chicken feet and hakaw (my fave)! 😊
Favorite place na rin to ng Family namen., kahit ang aking chikiting eh gustong gusto dito kumain, (c papa dear naman all time favorite Pata tim na super lambot) 👏🏻 Sarap sarap talaga.. 😋😊
Till next visit!!
Personally it is the best.. Food, service, prices are very reasonable. And the service provideras are all good.
The dimsum, is the best as well. I could not ask for more
The Moment is great with my Family
we really satisfied and enjoy the Taste of every Food we order
Great Fast service compare to other resto
if you dine in for lunch you will eat your Food for early dinner wen it arrive..
I really love all kinds of dishes that they prepare especially the dimsum in a cart. Everything is new and hot! service is excellent and very customer oriented and accommodating :)
Hi ...i love d food esp d lapu lapu so sweet n cranchy.i love d patatim..all.the foods in their menu..thank you cause way for d memorable birthday of my mother.2/9/2017.
I learned to love chicken feet because of Causeway! For me, they have the best chicken feet in town. We always go here to avail their dimsum promo. All dimsum in their pushcart costs P60 per serving from 2pm-6pm, Mondays to Saturdays, except holidays. If you love hakaw, do note that it is not included in the promo.
Parking is a problem during promo hours, so there were times when we wanted to eat here but there's no luck with the parking.
The restaurant looks a bit tired, but I don't mind that since it gives me the "authentic" Chinese restaurant ambience.
Service is good for a very busy restaurant. They promptly provided our requests like water and condiments.
They also serve house tea for free.
Love their dimsums, spareribs and fried chicken.
They have this push cart dimsum promo which offers a cheaper price of dimsums.
Interiors were like what you usually see in an old school Binondo Chinese restaurants. Maybe it'll be best if they renovate or upgrade the place.
Company christmas party! The events venue was very spacious for ten tables and they had a bathroom near the events area as well almost solo to the area. A smaller events area was bit of a nuisance at the back with their ktv but nothing too bad. Food is quite good especially the dimsum!

Love this Chinese restaurant. They offer good family style Chinese dishes. Their promo of afternoon dumplings lowered prices are the bomb. Highly recommended Chinese restaurant
We always order the ff: Pork Asado - salty/sweet with tender pork mixed with peanuts.
Beef broccoli which has tender beef and also tastes good. And pansit which I find has just the right amount of oiliness.
I don't experiemce umay eating here (which is common with Chinese cuisine)
And they serve all types of dumplings! This is my favorite.
I like that the dumplings can be ordered via the man who has a pushcart who can quickly serve you any dumpling you want! Served steaming and fresh.
Whenever my wife and I crave for dimsum and other chinese delicacies this is the first place that comes to mind. We always order the Beef tendon w/ brisket noodle soup, Yang chow fried rice and our favorite, the siomai. Also an additional order of chicken feet w/ tausi sauce for her and beancurd for me. That's always the usual for us. Food is great. You get a piece of authentic chinese feel to it. Price is reasonable especially with their dimsum happy hour.
Nothing fancy bout the place. Spacious, clean restroom. Also if you're in the mood for drinks and music, you can opt to sit upstairs at Fj's bar where they have bar chows and alcoholic drinks and you can still order from the Causeway menu. Not sure if they have the same owner.
All in all, great place for chinese food cravings and also for night outs with friends.
The Timog branch has always been our go to place for a Chinese fix. I particularly like the chicken feet and hakaw. I find their Spareribs rice and Beef Hofan good! I like mine with chili garlic oil.
Service is good. Staff are attentive and accommodating.
Tip: If you are at Fat Johnny's (the bar on the 2nd level), you can also order food from Causeway. :)
This is my first time visiting this place--but I have tried eating on their other branches. I have to say that this place and other places that I have visited is clean, staffs are kind, and easy to approach. The food is great, and worth the price. Not giving 5 because I do believe that they still have to improve to satisfy their customers, if I give 5, there will be no need to improve.
Been awhile since we ate here. I missed their dimsums especially the hakaw. We used to frequent the place, sometimes even in house clothes because it's near our house and we can't be bothered by convention. That's how comfortable we feel in this pace , very cozy, affortable and always serves good food with good service.
Dimsums are good! Top choices would be Hakaw, Siomai, Beancurd Roll, Spareribs and Seafood Roll. You can’t go with these.
Other than the dimsums, their Asado is super good! I was surprised that it was extra tender and juicy which is not so common for Asado, well as far as what I know and what I’ve already tried.
For dessert, you won’t get wrong with Mango Sago.

First time ko kumain dito with my officemates. Medyo pricey yung menu pero buti nalang may promo sila every 2PM na mas affordable dimsum! Hindi ako mahilig sa chinese foods pero masarap yung food dito.

Affordable and really tasty dimsum can always be found here at Causeway Seafood Restaurant.
They need to improve the quality of service lang konti. Because the servers can be a bit slow and inattentive minsan.
Its been years since dinning here again. Our older son had baptism here ling time ago. Well i love the dimsum here specially the tendon dimsum and almost all of them. Also love the food here like noodles etc. Service is good. Place need some renovation.
Drove close to three hours yesterday from Makati to Tomas Morato to finally try one of the best Chinese restaurants in the city.
Was really hungry and the group decided to have a feast. I loved everything we ordered. Dishes were served fast and warm/hot especially the Minced Beef Soup. Service was commendable and staff were attentive enough to replenish our tea without reminding them.
The Yang Chow was cooked just right. It was aromatic and filled with meat and seafood. The Sweet and Sour Pork was also a winning dish. The pork cuts were tender and succulent. The sauce had near perfect balanced tangy taste.
The Soyed Chicken had generous portions cooked in a sweet soy-based marinade. A bit dry but still delish. Don't forget to ask generous amount of the ginger oil.
Can't wait to come back here, but would consider going back on a Sunday when traffic is more tolerable.
My go-to dimsum and cold cuts place. It's so near my condo!
Ordered sharksfin, siomai, chicken feet and seaweeds and century eggs 😍
Food 10/10
Service 10/10
Ambiance 10/10
I go here maybe once a month if i'm in need of some Chinese food loving!
Been here multiple times and their food did not disappoint me. I usually order their dimsum and spare ribs with chicken feet meal. Their service is not that good. You can sometimes see their waiters and waitresses not smiling and ignoring their customers.
My girlfriends and I came a bit late for the Php48 promo on dimsums from 2pm til 6pm. Sayang! Anyway, it is always dimsum night whenever we go out and we usually order siomai, chicken feet, hakaw, sharks fin and beancurd, which i don't like hehe. Over all experience is good naman.
Those in the know know about Causeway's P48 promo on dimsum every 2-6pm and so while other restaurants are near-empty or closed at this time, every table is teeming with customers at Causeway ordering several bamboo baskets of these steaming, yummy treats. Sure, the staff generally ignore you and are really slow to respond, the tables are sometimes suspiciously wet and sticky and the entire place is too dark and dingy but for those little bites of goodness, you really won't mind. Pots of oolong tea come free too (though a little light - and don't expect it to be sweetened). I do wish they wouldn't oversteam their siopao but the rest of the dimsum? Really good, meaty siomai (none of those cheap, mostly flour-y kind), tasty beancurd or seafood roll and other delights are available from your friendly rolling dimsum cart.
If you love dumplings then you must know Causeway. They have wide variety of dumplings. The resto also have this promo of 50% off on their dumplings during weekdays between 2pm-5pm for dine in txns. 😊😊
This is one of my favorite chinese resto. 1st because its near my place. 2nd they have cheap dimsums from 2-6pm! I always order sharks fin dumpling, pork siomai, bean curd roll, taosi spareribs, seafood roll and asado or bola bola siopao.
The only bad side is sometimes the waiters/waitress are deaf and or blind but other than that its A ok with me. And oh yeah there some small roaches on the floor sometimes but as they say pagmadumi mas masarap hahaha
This is the place me and my family would go to for late lunches, especially because of their promo of discounted dim sum. The food was great and cheap definitely getting the most for your money, the service was not good but not bad either considering the influx of people during the time we ate. To elaborate I enjoyed the place but a little improvement on service would be nice.
Love their 2-6pm 48php dimsum promo! My dad and I go there and order as many as 13 dimsum plates haha 😊 you can takeout whatever you don't finish! For dimsums, i like japanese siomai, beancurd roll❤️, seafood wrapped in cabbage, kuchay, siomai. I recommend fookien fried rice 😊
The place is kinda dirty; i saw baby cockroaches a few times already. I don't mind though because the dimsums are cheap, big, and delicious!!
Dimsum for 48 php during promo hours. Best tasting chicken feet. Their somai is also good. Place can get packed during promo hours. Service can be improved though.
The foods were great but the waitress was unpleasant.
When we were ordering, the lady servant was just rude
Boyfriend: Miss pa order po nitong spare ribs rice pot
then the waitress interrupted him
Waitress: Yun lang po!?
idk but the way she said it was impolite
Boyfriend: tska ung spare ribs with CHICKEN FEET
then we waited for our food, mine came first for some reason the only diff is his meal has a chicken feet
so that's quite nonsense already then the order given to us WAS FREAKING WRONG.
spare ribs with MUSHROOM like the waitress didn't even apologize, what an ass.
Chinese food is my family's comfort food!
Causeway is one of our faves when it comes to affordable chinese dumplings and chicken feet.
Their food is tasty and great. Their crew is okay. But the place reaaaaaaally needs some renovations. ASAP.
My new favorite Chinese food house! I love the authentic taste of the food and was way too happy with the Php48 promo for all dimsums! Truly the tastiest and cheapest!
I'm supposed to review Causeway Banawe because that's where we frequently eat but it shows 'closed' on this site. There are 2 branches in Banawe actually and they're both super open. Anyway, this is the best dim sum resto for me. I would never exchange this for Tim Ho Wan. They serve the best chicken feet, spare ribs and Tendons! The best part is, their 50% off promo every 9pm onwards. Such a winner!
Dimsum for 50% off 2PM-6PM on weekdays? You had me at "dimsum"
Service was speedy and they never forgot an order. Dimsum was sooo good! We also got fried cuapao (spelling?) with sweetened condensed milk. I forgot to take a picture but it was really good!
This is my second time to have dimsum for merienda here and my top one personal favorite is the chicken feet! Yay!! XD
Their service tea is good and staff knows what their doing. LOL! :D
I love CAUSEWAY! hahahaha
Thank you for such a nice serving and delicious foods! Everything is really worth it even the price and the nice big place. We will definitely come back here!
Their dimsums are the best! I like the place and the ambience. Plus they serve good hot tea. My favorite dishes are their seafoods. The flavors are just right. :)
They have very good dumplings for starters! I love their Prawns Salad (Cold) of course!! I can even finish the whole plate! hahahaha..Price is very affordable, and good for small gatherings with your family! actually even if your with friends
For starters, they have good dumplings. I love their Hakaw to be specific. Then i will go for their Nido soup. Our favorite will be the fresh sweet and sour fish fillet. The place is truly popular as they are pretty busy for lunch till dinner. I wish they just have enough parking during their peak hours. We still go to their restaurant for small family gatherings as they have good authentic Chinese cuisine.
My friends and I tend to make this our go to place when we want to hang out. Ambiance is alright, not the cleanest resto out there. I like to order their congee since it's quite tasty. Siomai is alright, still other chinese restos that serve better but overall, value for price
My Family and I have a Sunday routine, we always have lunch or dinner in here. It is the best Chinese Restaurant in Metro Manila.
Whenever we have a relatives came from different country we always recommend this place and I love eating here.
The food are so yummy but sometimes the crews are not so attentive.

First time to dine at causeway and I would have to say that this might be obe of the cheapest chinese restaurants I have been to. Their dimsums only costs P70 (4pcs) except for hakaw which costs P83 (4pcs). Their noodles are also very affordable, range from P135 to 170. Their beef tendon noodles is very good. The place is also very spacious and not crowded. They also have a valet so parking would not be a problem.
It may be just me, but I found the Timog branch pale in comparison to the Banawe branch. The hakaw was "thinner" and the siomai was dry. Maybe it was an off-day I don't know. The wait staff also seemed a bit distracted. I suppose because there were so many people, but I also think they should be used to the crowd.
Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in the metro!
If you love dimsums, causeway is the best restaurant to dine!
Cause way offers dimsum promo everyday! Just visit them during their Dimsum Happy Hour. All their dimsums are discounted from 2pm to 6pm at causeway Tomas Morato!
