We got here late on a Friday night so we had to wait. But, the turnover is quite fast and the staff accommodated all of our questions.
We were surprised that feast all you can is still on going. It is very sulit to the point where we are happy, yet feel very bloated until the next day. Love their fujian fried rice as it reminds me of hs. The vegetables are so good, while the portions for the feast is precise. we got so many xiao long bao to the point of sawa.
overall, must try.
We ordered Xiao long bao, pork wontonz golden fried rice with shredded pork, sweet and sour fish and tenderloin. We enjoyed very the bao and wonton, the other three is just okay and kind a disappointed with their tenderloin. Service was great they keep checking what dish has yet to come and serving water when its near empty.
Planning to come back and will focus with their dimsums.
We tried the Feast All You Can promo for 600 per pax. They offer a lot of taiwanese food. Choose from different appetizers, dimsums, rice toppings and noodles and 1 house specialty of your choice. I really liked the vegetable and pork dumplings and sweet and sour chicken with rice. The dimsums are made fresh. The chicken dish was also good. The pineapple shrimp with crullers is also good. It's both sweet and savory very refreshing taste. For the house specialty we got salted egg prawns, mixed mushrooms with xo sauce, crispy chicken and taiwanese tofu claypot with pork. I liked the mushroom dish the most. It's salty and very flavorful and its not overcooked the shrooms still has a bite and crunch.
We went here on a Saturday night on a payday week so there are a lot of people. Luckily my friends were there early so they were able to get a table pretty fast.

As I promised to the feedback form they gave me I'll leave an online feedback.
It is my 1st time to dine in Lugang, my friends and I celebrate our reunion after 9 years and we want to dine in where there is a good food, good place to stay etc.
The receptionist JESSA assisted us to our table but my friend wants to have a little privacy so she ushered as to another table where we can have a little privacy. I like her attitude and hospitality kudos to her.
2nd I want to commend as well the other lady who assisted us in our table though she was not our server I think. Her name was Mariella? Not so sure 😂 its been 4days ago.
The food was great, ambiance is good, for the price? Hmm typical 500+ per head. I hope they have other desserts like cakes and pastries since I am/us not fan of the ice shave. We ordered one but we didn't like it.
Hmm! For the service I think other staff should learn from the 2 ladies I've mentioned. I refilled my own water since everybody is busy doing something or chatting. I even put the pitcher on our table 😂.
I'll be back again, 😊 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Love dining here . The ambience is very elegant , attentive staff, good food, nice plating. I tasted almost everything in the menu. The desserts are so
Enticing to the pallet . Even the arabica coffee is so good. The Xiao long bao is one of the best ive tasted. The crispy chicken is a must. The spicy beef noodles is perfect. The pineapple rice is rich in ingredients. The prawns brocoli is a must try so
As the hot pot fish tofu and more to taste.
Dined last saturday. The place felt spacious and the ambiance cozy. The service was great. Servers were attentive and prompt. Ordered xiao long bao, beef stir fry something and a mushroom something. Totally forgot their names haha. But they were super yum! The food was kinda pricy but it’s definitely worth paying for. 👍🏻
I really loved their strawberry yogurt slush ❤ it was worth the price we paid and there was enoigh serving for our whole family.
We really loved all the dishes. The flavors were all rich. Except for the porridge. It was really bland. But we will definitely be back but only when there is special occassion because food is really pricey
High level preparation and quality of food. Nice that their dishes are a slight tweak from the standard. Like the mushroom tofu jellyfish salad. 3 cup chicken was tasty and tender.
Food is great. The ambiance looks fancy. Its a great place if you want to relax and chat with family and friends with less people in your surrounding. Best Xiao Long Bao in the city.
One of my fave places to get dumplings/xiao long bao. Love their Cantonese lemon tea too. Reminds me of the usual iced tea in Hong Kong. I hope they reconsider the vinegar for dumplings/xiao long bao though. Found it to be too sour. Namutla lips ko. Good thing the food was good even without that.
Went here with my mom for a low key lunch and wasnt disappointed with the menu. It was a whole freakin' book of goodness. Lol. And mind you, everything we ordered was served within 10 minutes. Kudos to that!
We ate here around 11 am so there's no queue as we are the first customer. Staff are accomodating. Taste is okay. I enjoyed the ambiance since there's not much people so you can appreciate their interior
Food: masarap siya, parang homemade chinese dish.
Ang laki din ng mga servings at sulit talaga hindi ka mag sisi.
Price: price is reasonable, kasi yun nga parang katumbas ng price yun food product. Pang masa naman.
Ambiance: pwedeng instagramble, very comfortable.
Services/crews: ok naman sila mabilis ang pag serve ng food, pero kasi dumating kami ng closing time so parang nag mamadali na silang matapos kami pero ok lang naman satisfied naman kami.
Tried multiple of their dimsum and it was alright. Inconsistent serving temperature tho but nonetheless, still tasty.
Staff was very professional and approachable. Receptionist is very cheerful and kind too.
Super lovely interiors too!
The food was great!! The place was well-lit and spacious, the service was fine, I wish that everything wasn’t too expensive for my taste though. I’ll be coming back for their xiao long bao and bellagio breeze 👍
I seldom see Lugang Cafe at SM City North Edsa without people waiting to be seated most especially during lunch and dinner time. The food where quite expensive I should say for typical minimum wage earners like me, lol! But the price was worth the taste, especially their Yang Chow Fried rice (I love its smokey taste). Almost everything we ordered where delicious. Best part of it, the dinner was a treat from my co-worker, so I got to experience Lugang Cafe for free...
🌸 Located at 2nd flr. The Block, SM North Edsa
🌸 Good selection of Chinese cuisines
🌸 Lugang Cafe's xiao long bao is close enough to auth Chinese bao's
🌸 Strong aroma and taste of Chinese seasonings
🌸 Price ranges from 250-700 pesos
The food is delicious and the plating is excellently done. Also the ambience was very stunning and the staff is kind and friendly but the service was a little slow. But not that bad.

I’ve been to quite several Chinese restaurants and to tell you honestly, Lugang Café is a must-try.
From the interiors and servers to the menu itself, everything is more than satisfactory.
It offers a wide variety of Chinese dishes from noodles, dimsum, rice meals to different kinds of meat: chicken, pork, beef and seafood. You can all name it. Their menu is even magazine style, so you can imagine how many pages this menu has. To me, it was a bit overwhelming to choose what to eat from this huge menu but who cares if you want to try something new.
Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao - P248
One of the best dimsum I've ever had. Tastes like siomai but tastier and of course better.
Steamed Vegetarian Dumplings with Truffle Oil - P288
I really love this dimsum dish since I love eating vegetables.
Roasted Duck - P560
Though this would be a stunning dish but there's nothing special about it except that it is duck.
Golden Fried Rice with Egg and Shredded Pork - P280
Complements all their dishes
Spicy Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup - P290
This would sound weird but it sure is beyond satisfying: It is a close to beef pares dish turned into soup. It really tastes good and something to crave for during a rainy weather.

Very clean place and the food is always excellent. Also great selection of drinks and desserts to choose from. Service is also excellent everytime.
My family loved the food for the reason that they served very delicious food and take note it's not salty. Of course my favorite desert "yogurt"!!
Xlb is to die for! I love their buttered chicken strip (?). It always crowded during peak hours. Quite an index for a good restaurant. Service is fast too!
We love dim sum and we love buffet, where do these two meet? Lugang Café comes to mind. My wife wanted to try out their unlimited dim sum and we had a chance just last Friday. Lugang Café in SM North is located on the 2nd floor of the Block at the main atrium. It’s near the not-so-secret escalator on the side.
Date of visit: October 10, 2017.
For our 9th month celebration, we decided to grab the ulTEAmate promo of Lugang, the unli dimsum promo, since it will end on October 13, 5:30PM.
We did not wait too long to get a seat but no one entertained us for a few minutes (maybe because they thought we have placed our orders already). After calling one of the staff's attention, we asked for a plate of Pork xiao long bao, vegetable and pork dumpling, and Angled Loofa(?) with shrimp xiao long bao. Omg!! VEGETABLE AND PORK DUMPLING was the best thing ever!!! After the first set, we ordered for Pork Wonton in Spicy Chili oil, 2 plates of pork xiao long bao, vegetarian dumplings with truffle oil??, and the vege and pork dumplings (again).. the pork wonton was good but the presentation wasnt that appetizing. For our last set, we had pork xiao long bao and minced pork noodles. Omg, we really reached our limit at this point. Haha! They are all so good but I recommend the pork xiao long bao and vegetable and pork dumpling!
Their service was somewhat fast. Ambiance was classy af. It wasnt too cold nor too hot..just enough to set the mood. The servers were all extremely nice. ❤

Our go to place whenever we crave Taiwanese cuisine..today we ordered our usual favorites the Pork XLB and the Taiwanese Salt and Pepper Squid both were consistently good. But we noticed that the pork XLB decreased in diameter/size. Still good though. Then we ordered the Spicy Garlic Fish Claypot and the Lugang Cafe Birthday Noodles. Two thumbs up for both dishes. Ambiance is still elegant and conducive for eating. Wait staff were attentive, smiled a lot and presented all food at our table perfectly. Definitely going back soon.
We availed of their unli xiao long bao promo and I must say, it’s definitely worth it. I love their pork xiao long bao and their taiwanese stir-fried rice noodle with pork. We also tried their tapioca milk tea and it was okay. The staffs were very prompt in attending to our needs. Kudos to this restaurant!
ORDERED:
Seafood Spinach Soup - light and healthy
Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao with Truffle Paste - a bit pricey (5pcs for 298) but worth a try
Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao - simply delicious
Breaded Shrimp Balls with Mozzarella - the crispiness of the bread crumbs made it fun to eat
Crispy Chicken - nothing special
Birthday Noodles - worth your money due to volume, tastes good as well

I've wanted to try xiao long bao for the longest time, and I finally did, on my birthday! Lugang Café has an elegant interior, with lots of mirrors and lights. It's clean and well-lit.
We ordered tofu with preserved (century) egg and floss, pork xiao long bao, sweet and sour pork, kung pao chicken, sauteed broccoli with XO sauce, fried rice with black pepper beef, and milk custard with fresh fruits.
The xiao long bao is delicious; the flavors burst in your mouth once you break the skin. I was a little disappointed, though, because the broth has hints of ginger and I don't like the taste of ginger at all.
The block of tofu was silken; it melts in your mouth. It's topped with pork floss and crushed peanuts. The contrast between the salty floss and the sweet sauce was lovely. I wish it had more than one century egg, though. Don't miss this one.
I also loved the sweet and sour pork and the kung pao chicken; very flavorful and the meat was tender.
The milk custard with fresh fruits was light and not too sweet, perfect for capping off the delicious dinner.
I will definitely come back to try the other dishes!
♥ ♥ ♥ Prices of dishes here are high but they are so good and i wouldn't mind coming back here
from time to time! Great food + elegant interiors are two thumbs up
Been here to try their buffet promo with my family and had a wonderful time. The place is not your typical chinese/vietnamese/cantonese restaurants, it's kind of cozy, at the same time elegant with it's black and diamonds theme. The place is well lit and ventilated that my aunt has to get out of the resto right after we ate. The food for the buffet comes with a lot of side dishes, appetizers and soup. Each person get a free iced tea which is one of the best iced tea I've ever tasted. Ice cream for the desert and 1 main dish per person. Like I said this is not your typical buffet resto, cause you have to order the food, they make it for you and serve it, so the tendency is you can't control the amount of serving per dish. That's the only time I was not able to finish everything in my buffet plate. So just in case you want to try, if you are not really sure about the food, don't order it or else you'll gonna waste it. But they did not charge us for our leftovers. The only reason why I gave 4 stars to this cafe is that, they aren't quite organized. The servers and the order takers are different all the way. So there are food that has not been supposed to be on our table that the moment they've realised it was not ours, they asked to get it.lol
It's a family go-to place when in the mood for Chinese food. We usually order the xiao long bao, spicy garlic fish claypot, and pork and century egg congee. I think there are 8 pieces of the dumplings, filled with seasoned ground pork, and enough broth inside. Spicy garlic fish in a claypot has big pieces of golden dory and fried tofu. What I like about this dish is that it's always served while it's sizzling on the pot. :) Food is always served hot, with good portion sizes as well.
Resto is clean, and staff is attentive and friendly. It's cool to see the staff using those earpieces to communicate and coordinate with one another too.
Yep, this place is good. :)
Lugang Cafe has a great and modern ambience for a Chinese restaurant. Especially love their Xiao Long Bao and dimsum selections. Perfect place for families and big groups.
Known as the "best contemporary Taiwanese restaurant" in Manila! The restaurant has a contemporary Chinese restaurant ambiance with mirrors, chandeliers, and modern chairs. They have friendly staff who will definitely provide you excellent service. Food is okay, prolly because I'm not really a fan of chinese cuisine. But if you're looking for a perfect place to dine that offers a truly authentic Taiwanese and Cantonese dishes, this is the place to be!

My officemates and I were invited to lunch here by a business partner. It was a fun meal with good food and great company. We started with yummy dimsum - Xiao Long Bao and Shao Mai - along with Seafood Spinach Soup. The rice with pineapple perfectly complemented our main orders of Stir-fried with Chili Peppers, Kung Pao Chicken with Cashews, Fried Fish in Soy Sauce among others.
I have eaten here several times already. I was even able to try their buffet twice. Every time we eat here, I always order their spicy fish in claypot. I really love that dish. The sauce is not that spicy. It has tofu and mix vegetables also. The birthday noodles is super big. I think it's good for 4-6 person. The xiao long bao is just okay. I prefer to order their a la carte dishes than the dimsum. The taiwanese pork chop is also a must try. The kung pao tofu is meeeeh. Too sweet. For the dessert, I recommend the ice shaved with pearls or taro. I do not like the biggest ice shaved with red and green beans. If you don't like red beans, do not order it. It's literally covered with beans im not kidding. The mudslide is just your normal chocolate slushee. It looks good but you can skip it. Overall, I find the food delicious. We keep coming back
My go-to place for xiao long bao even before DTF days.
8 pc pork xiao long bao (Php 248) - can be finished by 1 hungry person. Served steaming hot. (Eat asap tho, di as masarap once it becomes just warm). Wrapper's not too thin so soup usually doesn't leak when you're getting it. Flavorful soup and pork isn't too fatty. Sarap!! Don't eat in Lugang without ordering this. Hehe
Must try: Wasabi Mayo Prawns (Php 680) Honey Garlic Squid (Php 290), 3 Cup Chicken (Php 320).
Steamed Pork and Shrimp Shao Mai 8pcs (Php 288) is okay/typical too but not my favorite.
My dining experience btw was not as great. Took too long for my order... apparently they took/noted my order but somehow did not punch/process it. Found out only when one curious staff approached me around 15 mins after I gave my order. I prefer dining in their SM Aura branch.
My best friend Lisa has been reminding me about our lunch date at Lugang Café for how many weeks. But due to busy schedule, we kept on postponing our lunch date. Finally, last month we were able to dine at Lugang Café along with our high school friend, Jason. Lugang Café offers a contemporary Taiwanese cuisine brought by the famed Bellagio Group of Restaurants. Since it first opened in the Philippines, the restaurant has caught the attention of the culinary world. In fact, for two consecutive years Lugang Café was a recipient of the Philippine Tatler’s 100 Best Restaurant Awards.
We always love eating here. We have tried the fried chicken, the duck, the salt and pepper squid, the beef, even the shaved ice and the veggies. The abalone soft tofu is a must try. It tastes DIVINE!!! The fried chicken with pickled veggies is amazing as well. I would love to go back to try more stuff in their menu.
-SHORT REVIEW-
I ate with my family members plus my relatives here at Lugang Cafe, last October 1. The interiors look charming and it's more beautiful than other Chinese restaurants. Their Taiwanese Siomai and their Xiao Long Bao is so tasty and chewy that I can bite it so quick! The staffs are great and they also took us some group pictures which is nice. No regrets, we will go back again when we have time. Arigatou Gozaimasu, Lugang Cafe!
I am happy of their service and how delightful their Taiwanese-style food. The rolls, the soup, their special shrimp, their noodles, and their dumplings that when you eat them in one go, you can feel like there's soup inside of it. What I liked about it is that when there is a birthday celebrant, they give a cute dessert with a candle. As a person, getting gifts, decent or fancy, gives me a lot of happy vibes, and this cafè is an A+. The price may be intimidating, but the taste is great. I only recommend eating here as a group, since it is like a get-together place. Anyway, thanks for the food and keep up the good work
It's my second time to dine in Lugang and the food never disappoints.
Service - 4/5
Pineapple rice- the first time i've tried this, the rice was served on a plate but this time they had it inside a pineapple which made the serving quite small but nonetheless remained delicious
Salt and pepper squid - this is one for the books, right taste, right amount of crunch
Garlic rolled pork - this is served cold, it has a refreshing taste to it, vegetable strips rolled in pork with garlic sauce
Chicken - i forgot the name of the chicken dish but it's one of their best sellers.. Nothing unusual in taste so you can skip it
If you are a coffee lover, give their lugang iced coffee a try
Overall, this is a restaurant i'd keep coming back to.
If you're dining here on a weekend lunch or dinner, make sure to be there early as the resto gets full. I guess because this place is ideal for families and because we love dimsum. But don't worry because the restaurant has a variety of Taiwanese dishes that you can share and enjoy.
Prices are reasonable. Service is good. Food is good. Will come back to try the other dishes.
Very delicious and worth it xiao long bao!😊 and i really like the beef hofan and string beans with sakted egg yolk. I hope that they could change their chili sauce 😄
Lugang Cafe is a must-restaurant to dine for! Having elegant interior and plenty of food choices offer a sumptuous dining experience for the customers. I, myself, is a regular customer of this restaurant. My top three dishes as of now are probably Spicy Fish in Clay Pot, Crab Roe and Pork Xiao Long Bao and Cantonese Stir-fried Broad Rice Noodles with Beef.

Tried Lugang's Feast All You Can, was excited about their unlimited xiao long bao. After a few orders of their pork xiao long bao, you'll notice that the quality of their Feast All You Can's xiao long bao is different from their a la carte's xiao long bao. Aside from the xiao long bao, some of their appetizers were really good. As for their free serving of house specialties...
Superb Taiwanese and Chinese cuisine! Had the best of both worlds tonight as we delve into the East Asian pallet.
Since it's a stormy and chilly kind of day, had hot and sour soup to keep our tummies warm but spicy enough to stay alert. For appetizers, had shrimp and pork siomai...was good although not your typical Chinese dumpling. Next was the oyster cake, which is a personal favorite! Then everything else just poured in! Steamed shrimp with garlic, Chinese sausage fried rice and Taiwanese fried pork chop. We had more dishes in mind to try next time. Will definitely come back for more.
Lugang is probably best known for xiao long bao, but I find their xiao long bao to be quite average really. They don't stand out in a big way for me. The pineapple fried rice is similalry fine but doesn't stand out. I probably would not order their beef with tendon again, as the amount of tendon is pretty significant. The items that really stand out in Lugang are their salted egg French beans, which can be a meal in itself, and their peanut smoothy. Most people will gravitate towards the mango smoothy, but I find the peanut smoothy to be far superior. It tastes like the Chinese peanut candy, or sort of like chocnut. My only complaint is that they don't have a smaller size for their desert, and one order is easily enough for three or four people, leaving you with a dilemma if there are only two of you or less.
Lugang's xiao long bao is one of the best i have tasted, IMO... Aside from theie braised eggplant dish, i always get an order of these lovely lovely mini baos
For special occasions or events like birthdays or graduation, you can never go wrong going Asian or in the case of Lugang Cafe, Taiwanese. Restos like this are best for big groups. Servings are for sharing and can feed 3 to 4 hungry people.
But most of all, I love the Xiao Long Bao. They remind me of the coma-inducing dumplings I had at Din Tai Fung in SG. Not as good but close enough.
Lugang also has a great selection of drinks and desserts.
The food was delicious. We tried the eat all-you-can promo and the serving of food was fast. The service was so good. We even got free tea for digestion.

Lugang's glitzy modernist decor distinguishes it from modern Chinese restaurants, even the upscale ones which rely tend on red, gold or dark brown color motifs.
The Lugang culinary experience is refined from start to finish. You've got 6-8 choices from the soup dumpling menu, but we always go for one of these two: the steamed pork or steamed pork with crab roe xiao long bao. The dumpling broth is clean tasting and delicate, the wrapper of even thinness, cooked just enough to retain an al dente texture when brought to table. We pair this with the roasted meats platter or the tofu with century egg, which is served very cold with a little vinegar and topped with pork floss.
The shrimp balls breaded with toast are a hit with my niece, and everything my niece likes, I like too! The shrimp is chopped coarsely and shaped into a ball; cubes of toast are "glued" around it and fried to a nice golden crunch. The Taiwanese tofu pot with pork is what I term accessible - soy-flavored, and with a glossy sauce.
When we revisited them on Mother's Day a few days ago we saw revisions to their menu. A bit less emphasis on roasted meats; an expansion of xiao long bao flavors, including a new ube dessert flavor; a wider range of fresh fruit shakes, and juices, which come out in attractive carafes, and ice-blended drinks.
Some of my friends have commented that Lugang's XLB was starting to pale in the face of recent competition. I think they have responded in kind, because the latest batch of xiao long bao we tried had a wrapper of extraordinary yet uniform thinness, thinner than before, and the soup inside tasted as good as always. As usual, we ordered our favorite sweet and sour pork and then a fried pomfret, filleted and imaginatively arranged together with the rest of the fish. Just a note: the fish wasn't so fresh.
For dessert, Lugang offered all mothers a polvoron layered strawberry ice cream cake, which we appreciated. I also ordered a ube sticky rice dumpling soup, which we will order again when we return.
Overall, a meal here is a 4-star experience. There's an extensive menu with many items to pick from, service is good even at peak hours, and the staff is patient with newcomers and good at recommending dishes.

Been at lugang several times and different branches. Well all lugang cafe have cozy and classy interior design, the place is well maintain, food is great specially the garlic shrimp.serving is good for 2 to 3 persons.price is average i think their drinks is expensive the ice tea cost 150pesos but its a good experience again specially the service fast, accomodating, attentive and well disipline👍👍👍
Consistent. I can really say that this restaurant is consistent with their food quality. I have tried the Mall of Asia branch and their quality is of the same level. Food is good. They have a clean lavatory inside and airconditioned.
My mom considered this as one of her favorite restaurant. We ordered Kangkong Kale, Chicken, Steamed Fresh Clams with Melon and Stewed Beef. Overall, we were satisfied of the service and the food. The interior is nice too.
Great restaurant with elegant and calming interiors despite what may seem like a chaotic setting. Waiters and waitresses bustle about like bees in a structured hive, but the staff at Lugang still manage to be incredibly attentive and thoughtful most of the times I've visited. It's mostly crowded inside but the staff somehow navigate through seas of hungry customers, delivering service of an excellent quality. The food is also of excellent quality. If you know what to order, as the menu content can get quite overwhelming if you're unfamiliar with the cuisine, there are a lot of great dishes to try. The servers are also really intuitive when it comes to the food you might prefer.
I enjoy the seafood and spinach soup here, as well as the oyster omelet. The oyster omelet is crispy and creamy and a unique, enjoyable dish while the soup is hearty, healthy and satisfying. I love the chili clams here and the vegetarian dumplings with mushroom and truffle oil, though the dumplings were not as sensational as I remembered they were still quite good.
Most of all the desserts here are pretty amazing. I've tried several shaved ice dishes in the past and my favorite has to be the green tea and red bean one. The ice is light and of a niveous, snowy texture. The creamy green tea ice cream and savoury red bean paste compliment the dish nicely.
All in all, I always enjoy my trips to Lugang cafe and I look forward to coming back again.
Definitely a fun and recommended place to eat!

Chinese food isn't usually our top choice whenever we go out to eat - we're more into maki rolls, onion rings, pizzas, and burgers - but to be honest, there's not a whole lot of restaurants you can choose from when you're in a mall. It's not so bad though, the food was actually great. Did you know Lugang Cafe now has set menus for Php 1,999.00? Here's what we got:
Steamed Crab Roe and Pork Xiao Long Bao - Never eat at Lugang without ordering xiao long bao
Hot and Sour Soup - We were supposed to get the Winter Melon and Clam Soup as part of our set but it wasn't available so we were given this instead (price for both soups are the same)
Kung-Pao Chicken with Cashews - The chicken was tender. I wish it had more cashews though!
I've been dying to try lugang cafe's roasted duck and xiao long bao and they did not fail my taste buds. I really love their roasted duck, the meat is soft it was just like chicken, it was perfectly roastedand the duck's skin was crispy :) as for the xiao long bao, Its ok but I prefer eating it in soup.
I usually do not like dining in a chinese resto, because I think they always serve something with shrimp which I cannot eat due to allegry. However, lugang changed my mind. The place is spacious and look good. Staffs are accomodating just It would be a plus point if they could serve the food faster than 20 minutes. The food is serious good though. Serving is good for 2 or more and their desserts are seriously good. Will come back with couple of my cousins

Kung-Pao Chicken with Cashews - The chicken was tender. I wish it had more cashews though!
Wasabi Mayo Prawns - Just a few pieces of prawns for P580. A bit pricey but yummy nonetheless.
Taiwanese Fried Pork Chop - The pork chop reminded me a lot of Ersao's spicy pork. Yes, that's a good thing.
Stir-fried Broccoli - Huge chunks of broccoli!
Diced Chicken with Salted Fish Fried Rice - Flavorful and big enough for all 5 of us :)
If I added it right, the total price for the individual dishes would have been Php 2,118.00, so at least you get a bit of a discount when you go for their set menu. Plus it saves you time, you don't have to go through every single item on the menu before deciding on what to order. You and your family just have to agree on one of the four sets then you're done! ;)
Additional orders:
Oyster Omelette with Sweet and Spicy Sauce - this was just okay. It tasted like normal omelette
Pork Wontons in Spicy Chili Oil - Loved this!!
The food wasn't too salty and it was just enough for my taste unlike the other Chinese-Taiwanese restaurants I've tried. If you plan to eat here I recommend you to try their Pork Xiao Long Bao, Kimchi Pork Xiao Long Bao (twist of Korean. You may ask for level of spiciness), Black Pepper Fried Rice (my favorite!), and Strawberry Yogurt Smoothy for dessert (ultimate favorite!). 👅The Lighting and interior of Lugang Cafe in SM The Block was good for me! Also, it's kind of budget friendly because it's not pricey and the dishes are good for 2-3 persons according to the crew, but for us it's enough for 3-4 persons. I had a great eat here with my family. 💞
KP and I was craving for some serious Xiao Long Bao so we went to Lugang Cafe for their Feast All You Can Promo (FAYC) sadly, it was only available in their Greenhills branch. So,we went here and dine in anyway.
Lugang has been one of my family's go to Chinese restaurant because of its ambiance, service and of course it's food.
Food is excellent here! I can't think of any dish that I don't like here. Anyway, for our lunch today, KP and I ordered Xiao Long Bao (of course), Salt and Pepper Squid, Spicy Sliced Offals and Black Pepper Beef Fried Rice.
KP has a habit of making me try new/exotic/weird food.. so he made me try the spicy sliced offals this time and I was surprised because I ended up liking it which was a good thing. Of course everything we ate here is good. It's chinese food! And it's Lugang so how could you really go wrong eating here right?
No doubt it's one of my favorite restaurants! ❤

Been to Lugang quite a few times and they always serve delicious Chinese food. I am glad they still keep innovating and creating new dishes.
We ordered relatively-new dishes to try: Spicy Garlic Fish Fillet with Tofu, Pan Fried Guo Tie Dumplings, and Salt and Pepper Squid; and also tried-and-tested dishes: String Beans with Pork and Boneless Hainanese Chicken.
For the new dishes, I like the fish because it is flavorful and not too spicy, best with rice. The guo tie dumplings are fun to eat as well. Guo Tie is a Taiwanese style dumpling that is pan fried. Guo Tie literally means "stick to the pot", that is why the server needs to slice it before serving. Salt and Pepper Squid was well-seasoned and squid is not rubbery.
Their string beans with pork is an all-time favorite wherein the vegetables are fried to crunchiness and with great flavor. For this visit, I am disappointed with their boneless hainanese chicken. First of all, the chicken became smaller. Then, they don't serve the ginger-scallion-oil sauce which greatly enhances the dish. I hope they bring it back.
I was so ecstatic with our experience here. Every plate we ordered was awesomely delicious and the service was superb! A bit pricey but compensated by their own unique Chinese/Taiwanese dishes. Too bad our tummies weren't big enough for extra orders. We promise to be back sometime soon.
Friendly and very accomodating staffs, and of course very delicious food! Our favorite is their pork xiao long bao and kung pao chicken. Their xiao long bao taste like Din tai fung's! Their drinks are also yummy! Regular order is the cranberry mango sago :) this is one of top favorite chinese restaurants here in ph :)
Visited Lugang Cafe for the first time last weekend. We didn't really know what to expect as it was our first time to try it out. The staff was really accommodating and helpful in ensuring we order their best sellers. What i loved the most of the stuff we ordered was the breaded shrimp balls and xiao long bao! Really nice ambiance, very clean and space is good enough.
I've always wanted to eat here and im glad i did. Good food. Great for lunch or dinner. Definitely going back cause i'd like to try others on the menu.
The food is amazing! But with quite small servings. The place is neat and well maintained.
I went here with my friends. I thought it was a bit pricey because of the ambience but I was wrong. I liked their food. They're all delicious and of good quality. I loved their dimsums especially the xiao long bao.
There's an open kitchen and I think it's a good idea. The wait staff were all attentive and provided efficient service.
I had a wonderful dinner that night with friends and I'll definitely come back for more Chinese goodness.

An upscale restaurant patroned by upscale Fil-Chi families. I love their string beans which looks like your adobong sitaw only so much better! Of course, my all time favorite will be their appetizer platter - century eggs, seaweeds and pork asado! Yum! :)
Been here quite a number of times. I'm not a fan of xia long bao-but they have ones. Eat them while hot. They have very good food-jot salty yet very tasty. I love their oysters (2 kinds), wasabi prawns, and any of their rice. They have good noodles too!
Excellent and friendly staff. They were very attentive and they worked fast. The manager was quick enough to resolve the problem I had pointed out when I returned the crab roe and pork xlb that I had ordered. The dish was cancelled and I didn't have to pay for it. Will be sure to come back and try their braised dishes. Everything looks so tasty!
One of the restaurants in the metro with the best tasting Xiao Long Bao!
Though a bit more pricey than Mann Hann, Lugang Cafe is probably one of the restaurants that offers the best and most delicious Chinese food. Their interior is very glitzy that you wouldn't even think they are a Chinese resto. Lugang is an ideal place for family dinner because of the sophistication and the commendable service.
If you're craving for good-tasting Xiao Long Bao and Fried Rice, this is definitely your top of mind place to be.
