Thai cuisine is kinda addicting. The first dish that would pop up my mind is Tom Yum. Tom yum or tom yam is a type of hot and sour Thai soup, usually cooked with shrimp. Tom yum has its origin in Thailand. The words “tom yam” are derived from two Thai words. Tom refers to the boiling process, while yam refers to a Thai spicy and sour salad.
I've never been to Thailand but I love their food. Thanks to the booming industry of restaurants here in the country, we don't need to travel far just to taste international cuisines. One of the restaurants that serve authentic Thai cuisines from 4 different regions of Thailand is Mango Tree. Mango Tree has three branches here in Metro Manila now since they opened their first store at TriNoma Mall in 2010. I've visited this one since it's the closest location to where I reside. Actually, this branch is bistro-type, meaning it's a little smaller compared to its other branches.
The taste of the food here is similar to what I’ve eaten in Bangkok. It is also an ideal place to conduct business meetings because of the interior.
Loved the Tom Yum with three kinds of mushroom, and the mixed seafood basil is not too spicy and liked it. But the green curry chicken is kinda in the sweeter side which didn't appeal to me. Over all it's great except for the one music that plays over and over and over Hahahahahaha
Always encouraging my parents to try something different, I suggested to have dinner at Mango Tree Bistro. I like the ambiance and saw that the dishes are not too pricey.
I wanted to try their popular sea bass with lime, but to be on the safe side and to yield to my dad's request, I ordered pad thai, squid with salted egg, and grilled pork belly. They liked every thing. Yay!
I would have given them a 5 had the dessert been served in a larger portion since it's priced at 250. Though Macapuno ice cream was fine, the red ruby chestnut was hard to chew.
Mango is my #1 fave Thai resto. Loge the place and their food!
Padthai is authentic.. kaopad gai is okay but it'll be much better without the corn.. the other dish is stir fried pork with cashew is good! Overall is satisfactory including the ambiance and staffs.

Not really a fan of Thai cuisine but Mango Tree Bistro made me one. We ordered their Grilled Pork Belly which is available in many casual dining restaurants but this one stands-out a little among the competition. The vinegar is also unique and if it's Thai mix then MTB really made me an instant fan in no time. Our other order is their Tom Yum Spaghetti, a Thai pasta variant. The lemongrass and mushrooms made this one a winner. And for our dessert is their Mango Sticky Rice. Sticky rice with coconut cream and mango slices all around which is at first weird but upon taking my first spoonful of the combo, I'm awestrucked and can't believe how good this weird combination is! Finally the ambiance and service are both amazing. Irene our server is very attentive while the place is really romantic, it doesn't need candle lights to make this place special for dates.

The BEST and most authentic Thai Grilled Chicken in the metro!!! 👍👍👍 consistently good quality and waiters are friendly and attentive! Highly recommended!
This resto has been in that specific corner of TriNoma for so long. Yet, I have never tried this resto until Ms. J said we should try it earlier this year.
This was our 3rd dine and we normally order the same. Best for us is their Tom Yum Wings (5/5). We also tried their Beef Curry (4/5), Salmon Sticks (4/5) and Salted Egg Squid (3.5/5) and I know that they still have more to surprise anyone.
Ambiance and customer relations are good. Their comfy couches are relaxing as well.
A must try Thai resto in the North!

I dine in here whenever I want to chill. Food was great!
Chicken Grappow- 4/5
Thai Halo-Halo- 4/5
Sisig- 2/5. Nothing special really and kinda pricey for what you get.
Dine in here if you want some delicious fusion cuisine plus some great drinks. Great ambiance, of course. But the waiting time for food to be served, oh my god! Pricey but you'll know for sure why.
My first time at this restaurant was years ago. And my second time was last October 22, Sunday. My 1st & 2nd visits aren't crowded.
The food is okay. The service is okay. The prices of their drinks and food are quite expensive.
My critisicism, so far, is their Wi-Fi connection. Hindi ka maka-connect.

I used to frequent Mango Tree Bistro in Trinoma, especially before watching a movie or buying toys for my kids. If you knew its location, you'd understand why. :) I actually like the interiors; I think the restaurant gives a classy and cozy vibe at the same time, although some people may find it a tad too dark. Service is also good. The attendants know how to take good care of their customers.
In terms of food, I think they're pretty decent. Nothing spectacular about the food they serve, really, and note that they're on the expensive side. I think they're ok with the common Thai dishes such as chicken pandan, shrimp cakes, tom yum and phad thai. However, for the more complex dishes, I think they can do a better job. Tip: Opt for the panang (red) curry instead of the green variety, and have either beef or prawn. Their Thai iced tea is good as well.
Been here weeks ago for like a good week and a half starting the day we discovered it's good food, great ambiance and free Wi-Fi! For different days, we we're able to try almost everything we wanted to try from first down to the last page of their menu.
In this review, however, I'm going to only be focusing on some choices that I really enjoyed since it'll be a lot if I do it one-by-one. Anyway, let's start...
1. Por Pia Phak - Having a taste of this vegetable spring rolls made it legit for me that now, I prefer these kinds of rolls over lumpiang shanghai rolls. We were going to treat it as an appetizer but after the first bite, I thought it could work as ulam/viand especially if you're on a budget.
2. Gaeng Kiew Wan Goong - Or Shrimp Green Curry. The curry sauce was perfect! I didn't just use it over warm rice but on the pasta as well (I like mixing some of my food so yeah...)! There was an ample amount of shrimp on the bowl so it's 👌!
3. Spaghetti Chicken Grapow - I have to commend the texture of the spaghetti here. Not undercooked, not too soggy - just the right quality you're going to enjoy your pasta! The flavor was great, a bit spicy but definitely GREAT!
4. Tako Khao Phod - I'd like to believe that it's the Thai version of our very own Maja Blanca. I don't really like corn on my food but I forgive its presence on this dessert because it did went well with everything! And I commend the cute texture of this food - it's jiggly cute!
5. Tub Tim Grob - Ice cream on top tasted like coconut so I'll assume it's a coconut-flavored ice cream; with a shred of jackfruit and, lots and lots of water chestnuts (the red ones). For water chestnuts, we suggest you soak it under everything until you deem it soft enough to bite. It's the good kind of new taste! :)
I like the ambience of the place, the different seating areas and the overall look. Its also in a good location in Trinoma.
Since we just wanted a snack, we got their appetizers which were all good.
We had the Por Pia Pak (Vegetable Spring Rolls), Larb Moo Thod (Minced Pork Balls), Salmon Sticks (could use a little more flavoring) and Thod Mun Goong (Shrimp Cakes)
A little pricey for the serving sizes, but if its Instagram worthy, then its worth it. :D
A sunday lunch at this place, we were ushered to a sofa table. That was great, cozy spot of that restaurant. No thanks to the noisy lady nearby ha ha ha.
We ordered green mango salad as an starter, it was kind of dry actually my first time to eat a dry one, but it was good to be honest. I ordered tom yam chicken wings too, it is just a usual fried chicken wings. it never tasted tom yam. Did you guys served the right order?
The grilled beef and the chicken are good though. i like the sauce.
The ambience here is very great. There are live performances. The food here is also great, authentic Thai dishes. It's a bit pricey though for a little bit of serving. Other than that, this place is great.

My boyfriend and I are so into Thai Foods because we both love the spice and when we went to Phuket, everything we ate were just so heavenly. So back here in the Philippines, we're really fond of eating green curries, pad thais, satay and all that. Mango Bistro Tree offers a really good array of thai foods. Especially my favorite pad thai. Their satay so far is the best among the thai restos here in Manila. So try it for yourself. It's nearly authentic. And so as the green curry. Anyway, the service was really good and they also have duo performers at night who will help you relax while having dinner. Not sure with the schedule of the performers so you might as well check if you wanna experience. The ambience of the place is really cozy so you'll find yourself at home.
The ambiance of this resto is very romantic. Dim lights, many couches w throw pillows and they also have band/singer-pianist on selected days. Perfect for romantic dates or even w family.
They serve thai food. Ordered grilled pork belly, chicken red-curry and calamari. Food are w great flavors, cooked perfectly. I just hope they will offer a wider variety of curry dishes.
Service is average. A bit pricey, but worth to try.
My FOREVER FAVORITE THAI RESTAURANT!!!❤
I Love it's COZY PLACE, GOOD GOOD FOOD, GOOD SERVICE NICE STAFF
and not to mention JAMMING with in acoustic house band and ALL YOU CAN DRINK MOJITO every Friday and MARGARITA Saturdays 😀😀😀
Cheers!🍸
I always go back here coz the food is great and if I realy need a quiet place so my friends and I could talk i recommend it here..They have good food (i love spicy food) and cozy place..
The food here are so delicious. We usually order these honey ribs and the rice cause it's so good and to die for! Would love coming back here for their food. The service was fine too.
One of the few casual dining restaurants which serve authentic Thai cuisine. They have an extensive menu, with dishes that I barely can pronounce nor could remember. All I could recall is that I enjoyed the food here, loved the food
presentation, and the chic ambience. A bit pricey though.
A very elegant fine dining that can be found at level 3, Trinoma. The violet and black motif plus dim lights and candle lights are perfect for an intimate dinner with the bae =p
I ordered their Honey Pork Spare Ribs (Krong Moo Yang Na) that could be the most tender Ribs I have every tasted. It melts in my mouth and it’s worth every penny. The serving of the viand is actually more than enough for one cup of rice.
When in Trinoma, my teenagers and I would usually pick a resto with less people to a avoid the huge crowd that shops there. Mango Tree Bistro fit that requirement perfectly. It was quiet and relaxing. A good place to have a lengthy and calm lunch.
We ordered the Phla Salmon (it's like kinilaw but the dressing has chili and lime) which was a hit with my eldest. My other teenager ordered the Gai Tha Krai Yang (herbed chicken marinated in lemongrass with a special dip) and it was a hit with all of us. We liked the hint of lemongrass in the chicken. The dip was perfect. I got the Pad Thai with prawns. This one was not as delicious as I expected but it was still better than average. We washed down our food with their Thai Iced Tea and Lemon Iced tea. Another good choice. Because of a credit card promo, we got a free Thai Halo Halo to end our meal.
The food was a bit pricey though, but finding a quiet resto amidst the chaos of Trinoma, it made the experience worth it. :)
Food is simple but quite good! I do believe the ambiance is the one that really attracts! We had the khao klook kapi aka bagoong rice and it was actually quite good! I also had beef satay for p380. Quite expensive and the satay sauce was so so :)
Good food, Better ambiance ?
The food were delicious and the customer service is very good. But the best part of the Mango Tree experience is the ambiance ?
It was my first time to eat here and what i can say is that, the food tastes great and spot on! Though Im still looking for that authentic Thai tang in their peanut sauce but overall, it was good food! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I dont know maybe because its just a few people dining. The ambiance was very cozy and elegant.
Verdict (from 1-5, 5 being the highest)
Food taste: 4
Price: 3 (not really a budget friendly menu, expensive for the serving but its worth it)
quality: 4
ambiance: 4.5
friendliness of the staff: 4
I will definitely comeback
I would recommend having this: Thai Iced Tea. It’s really refreshing and milky. I’ve always had a soft spot for Thai iced tea just because milk is included. It can be a bit sweet for others but for me, it’s a good palate cleanser for their meals.
This was one good Phad Thai. And good for one only. My companions and I were able to catch their Afternoon Noodle Fest where this was sold at only P150. This comes with free Lemongrass Iced Tea (hence, the drink above), and is only sold from 2PM to 5PM. Even though the regular serving was downsized, flavor was still the same.
Popularly known as Pandan Chicken, the chicken meat was very tender and tasted good sans the tamarind sauce. To add some sweet flavor in, do add the sauce.
Their grilled pork spare ribs with honey was a win for me! The meat was very tender that you could easily separate it from its bones. It had this sweet tinge that further highlights the flavor of the pork.
Mango Tree looked interesting from the outside looking in, so when I craved for some pad thai, this is where we went. I had better. Though I did enjoy the shrimp balls, kang kong, and the lemongrass chicken. The servers could be a little more friendly though.
We don't frequent Trinoma so when we visited the mall a couple of weeks ago, we made sure to try dining in a restaurant that's not present elsewhere or almost everywhere. The al fresco area offers quite a lot of options. Ultimately, we chose Mango Tree Bistro for its nice and cozy ambiance that's seen from the outside. The menu also seemed intriguing. I mean it's Thai food...what's not to like? We entered, ordered, dined in and left satisfied.
Phad Thai Goong (PHp 420) was our first choice. It's Thai stir-fried rice noodles with prawns. The noodles were fine, smooth and silky. The tiny nuts provided a pleasant texture but tasted a little too, well, nutty, on their own. The shrimps were tender with its richness offset by the crip bean sprouts (toge) which maintained nice bites. The cheese net on top contributed the most appeal to the overall presentation of the dish.
Tom Kha Gai (PHp 380) consisted of sweet and sour young coconut milk and galangal soup with chicken. It managed to be both saucy and tangy with the generous creamy coconut milk component. I felt like wanting to pair it with rice. On second thought, we already had noodles. I'm afraid too much carbs would make me fat. :P
There's no shortage of wonderful food in Mango Tree Bistro. I hope to visit again next time!
Mango tree bistro is where my friends and I always used to hang out. they are serving delicious and yummy foods, Also it is budget friendly. yum woo sen is one of my favorite meals served here because it is budget friendly and too spicy. spicy foods for me is a challenging food. but of all the foods my favorite and also my friends favorite is their talay prik thai dum because its very delicious and mouth watering. We were meeting some frineds for lunch in Trinoma. We do not frequent Trinoma since its quite far from our house but I remembered hearing about Mango Tree Bistro so we decided on meeting there. It boasts of a great pedigree hailing from its mother restaurant Mango Tree in Thailand.
We arrived first and was surprised it was located on the 3rd floor beside the Powerbooks outlet. The design was very stylish and chic with heavy use of black colors accented by purple chairs and lamps. It has the feel of an after hours lounge rather than a typical restaurant.
We proceeded to order. Mango Tree Bistro had a nice, extensive and appetizing looking menu, a nice first impression.
Yum Woo Sen - Spicy glass noodles with lime and shrimps. The noodles were a little spicy for me so I had to eat it in moderation, but it was above Irene's tolerance level already. Good thing I ordered Thai Iced tea to relieve the spiciness from my taste buds, since its milk based.
Thod Mun Goong - Shrimp cakes, my favorite Thai appetizer. This is the best shrimp cake I've had outside Thailand, of course nothing beats eating it there. Each bite was crispy outside while the shrimp filling inside was very juicy, a quick dip in the sweet chili sauce adds a different layer of taste.
Tom Yum Goong - My wife's favorite soup, the level was spiciness was just right. It tasted quite good to me but I'm not really a fan of tom yum.
Pad Thai Goong - This was a disappointment. I did not like it at all although it was presented nicely with the egg netting covering the dish.
Talay Prik Thai Dum - This was a hit with everybody. Mixed seafood with black pepper sauce, a perfect companion to steaming hot white rice. The seafood were very fresh and the pepper sauce complimented it very well. I think I ate too much rice due to this dish.
Phad Phak Bung Fai Daeng -. Stir fried morning glory (kangkong), our only vegetable dish. A Thai resto staple for us. The veggies were still very crunchy and green, signaling correct cooking. The sauce was also good bu compared to the pepper sauce, it lost its luster.
Mango Tree Bistro is a go to place for authentic Thai food, you could really taste the authentic spices in their dishes. Prices are a little high considering the serving sizes, probably owing to their spices being imported from Thailand. It also looks like a good place to hang out and chill since I saw some cocktails on the menu.
