great food and service the staff are very accomodating and the place itself is great, very cozy and relaxing.. :)
Best Bagnet fusion and sizzling Laing in town ;) great food and awesome service.
My favorite comfort food place
I always visit Pino whenever I have a chance. So many memories were made at this place
A lot of different vegan dishes to choose between and they all tasted amazing.
Oh..i love the food and great service of the staff. I enjoyed the most was there double Dutch cheese cake... Definitely i will go back.
LOVE THEIR VEGAN FOOD! SUPER DELISH & HEALTHY!!!!!
We ordered Mini sisig tacos, Nori cheese sticks, Bagnet kare-kare, Sarsi chicken, Pinakbet, Tortang talong and Dayap leche flan. The bagnet kare kare is my favorite among all the food we ordered. I just think the peanut sauce is not enough. The sisig tacos is also good. I like the fusion of pinoy and mexican food. It worked so well. The chicken is tender and cooked well. Most of my friends didnt like it because for them its too sweet but I like sweet dishes so I enjoyed it. All the mains tasted good with rice ofcourse. Ended our meal with leche flan and I also liked the semi burnt caramel taste of it 🙂
They could improve on their service. Its too slow and some servers were not friendly.
Tried the Pino pop up menu and it did not disappoint - Crispy kare kare bagnet sitting on the creamiest, smoothest peanut sauce and an array of vegetables, accompanied by a healthy serving of bagoong rice and of course, bagoong or shrimp paste.
Each bite was a play on flavors and texture - the crispy bagnet, creamy peanut sauce, salty shrimp paste and fluffy rice. Unbelievable.
The crispy catfish salad was a delicious precursor to our meal, equal parts tangy, sweet and umami, with the floss-like strands of crispy catfish contrasting well with the greens, quail eggs, cherry tomatoes, mangoes and cucumber.
We washed our meals down with some of their refreshing coolers - lemon basil and cucumber celery. Perfect accompaniments to the rich food.
Definitely a winner in my book.
Definitely one of my favorites in Teachers Village. Most of their food are consistently good, especially the Kare Kareng Bagnet. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same with the coffee crusted beef belly, as for some reasons, it used to be awesome the first few times I ordered it, then eventually, they lost that ‘magic’ for it, it’s just not as tender as it used to be. Anyway, aside from that item, everything else is great. For the dessert, you may try their Fita Tiramisu, an interesting take with a well-known local brand of cracker. Wine is fairly-priced too. If you’re a vegan, they also offer you the items available from their vegan (sister?) shop upstairs (Pipino). And why this shop deserve your visit is that the staff really take good care of their customers, no matter how big or small your group is. Most restos’ staff don’t take care of you much if you’re only one and noticeably they pay more attention to bigger groups. Pino’s staff NEVER did that to me, as I am just alone on most of my visits.
Note to Pino: fix your coffee crusted belly as I believe it is one of your flagship items, then I’ll have no problem updating that 4 stars to 5. Kudos to your team, really. They deserve all the tips they can get from that excellent and fair service.
Food - delicious!! Kare-Kareng bagnet super sarap!
Staff - Very courteous and professional
CR - I was not able to see it =(
Space - enough seats
Aircon - YES!
Parking - they have space for around 6 cars I think
Money worth - YES! yes na yes! super sarap ng kare kareng bagnet! hihihi
I tried their seafood kare-kare, catfish with ensaladang talong and crispy catfish salad. All of them were tasty. 😋👍 Can't wait to try the rest of their menu. This resto is a must try if you're looking for flavorful and freshly prepared Filipino dishes.
Their Kare-kareng Bagnet is truly divine. My favorite sauce ever! For its price, you can actually split it into two and still feel full. Meanwhile, the place has a charming atmosphere. I just hope they can extend their hours.
Celebrated my birthday here with the family. Very good food and nice ambiance. Best food here is the krispy kare kare and the cordon bleu very tender and flavorful (100% recommended)!
Food taste really good! Don’t hesitate to try their coffee crusted beef if your looking for something interesting. Then their bagnet dishes are really good and crispy. Its just that sometimes its a bit salty.
Food is worth the price or a bit pricey.
Ambiance is really nice! Perfect date place.
Service is good naman! And polite mga staff nila!
👍👍👍
i can’t remember how many times we’ve eaten here but i keep forgetting to write a review and take pictures... so today i’ve finally took pictures... of the crispiest chicharon bulaklak... tastiest seafood kare kare (solo which came with binagoongan rice)... and crunchy bagnet tofu stack-o...
we always come here hungry that’s why... 🤣 🍽 anyway... you could tell that the ingredients were fresh... the oil wasn’t rancid and our tofu with bagnet & the chicharon wasn’t oily... fried in clean oil... that’s why we always come back here... service staff - jayson - was always checking on us if we were ok and needed anything... 🤘🏼😆
Since feeling healthy after boxing, we ordered Fried Kesong puti salad with mango vinaigrette and Nori Cheese sticks. The salad was really good although it was too sweet because of the dressing i still like it. Next time ill just ask them not to put too much. The cheese sticks with pesto and raspberry dressing is delish. I can finish a plate... or two or maybe three....its that good. yum yum yum!! A place for the healthy and the famished. We all left happily busog. Yummy in the tummy!!

They have huge servings. Food is good (though quite on the oily side). Waiters are attentive. The place is usually packed.
A friend of mine introduced us to this place in Malingap. The places at Teacher’s Village always struck me as try-once places, but not this one.
We had Buffalo Chicken Skins (good), Coffee Crusted Belly (good), and Sisig Rice (good, but not quite what we expected). Food was expensive, but definitely on my list of places to return to.
Im not a fan of Kare Kare since childhood but this one from Pino is undeniably one of the best and impossible not to like Kare Kare I had. Love how the hint of sweetness from the peanut butter tastes and crispness of the bagnet is just perfect. Not also a usual fan of Bagoong but their version reminds of my Nanay's. Really very good.
Highly recommended here:
Bagnet Kare Kare
Sisig Tacos
Another thing good about this place is you can also order from PIPINO restaurant if you are into healthy vegetarian dishes. So, a group of health-conscious and those not so conscious could actually go and enjoy a dining experience together.
I ordered their Tofu Balls to-go and I super loved it!Happy that it came with three dips: pesto, garlic mayo, honey mustard. I didn’t get the nori wansoy dressing with the tofu balls which is how it was described in the menu. I guess it’s different if it’s to-go.
The point deduction was because of the waiter who, instead of taking my order (he acknowledged me already and I was telling him my order), entertained some guests who just arrived. I looked stupid ‘cause it looked like I was talking to myself. The girl at the counter saw my 😠 face and apologized on his behalf.
What’s not to love about this Ed Bugia-helmed restaurant?
My husband and I have been going to this place since its early days in Maginhawa Street some 7 or 8 years ago. And it has never disappointed us.
Our favorites are: Kare-Kareng Bagnet, Sisig Tacos, Crispy Shrimps with Salted Egg, and Pino Iced Tea! We’ve been having them for years, we really ought to try the other stars on the menu (haha!).
The staff’s always friendly and courteous and will help you decide what to order if you’re having a hard time as the menu’s really an extensive one. They’re also very helpful when you’re ordering for a very large group of people.
Servings are big so you get your money's worth.
Service is fast.
Interior’s really pleasant and they always feature artwork by aspiring artists on the walls. The mural on the wall to your left when you enter the door is also noteworthy and lends a cool vibe when you’re dining.
I really love this place. From the interiors to the content of their menu and the quality of their food. I was skeptical at first, knowing they offer vegetarian cuisine. I was expecting bland flavors but I have been proven wrong. Everything I have tasted was of excellent quality, and priced reasonably. I'm not a vegetarian, but I enjoy their vegetarian cuisine.
Great choice kahit first time namin sulit na sulit lalo na yung Kare-kare panalo. Looking forward for next Pino order. Kudos! 😋😋😊😊😍😍😍😍😎😎😎 Jhay Rodriguez
I love their seafood Kare-Kare! I also tried their mini sisig Tacos which is also good. The seafood gambas alige is just okay. Nothing special. I also like their home made iced tea.
The food is so nice! Especially the binagoongan. Nakakafull din agad so pwede naman sharing lalo na yung binagoongan dahil madami namaan ❤ and also yung draft beer nila, that was really good! ❤👏🏽 that was the interior inside, yes not very appealing outside but good food and cozy ambiance inside is a plus point!
Everything that I have tried on their menu has brought a smile on my face. Their serving size is reasonable woth how their food is priced. The ambiance and servers are both ok. One fave here is their Margarita served in a huge glass. We always go back to this place.
Pino from the outside seems gloomy & not really inviting. But it was actually a lot brigher inside. It is not a spacious place though.
But they have an al fresco area that is presko.☺
Into their vegetarian choices, it is the spring roll trio that stands out for me, way better than the Nori cheese sticks. It has three flavors and all of which are pleasantly delicious !!! The cauliflower fritters is also yummy, while the buffalo cauliflowers can be mistaken as meat, meaning also flavorful but kinda too sweet.
However, their vegetarian pizza was a let down.
The front-runners on the regular menu, on the other hand, are the cheese-stuffed chicken breast and the coffee crusted beef belly. You would feel important when you eat them ! The coffee crusted beef has a hint of curry, which i am not a fan of but the meat's quality is more than sufficent to make up for the curry's sting on my tongue. My brother aboslutely loved it.
The red wine adobong tadyang shouldnbe crispy instead, should be less sweet & be more saltyand without star anis, i don't like star anis. It's nakakainis.
Into the pasta, they should serve it with a bigger plate or bowl. i like the tuna shitake mushroom but could be spicier, while the gambas in aligue is too creamy and kaumay. Not worth it for hypertension risk.
Re desserts, the Fita tiramisu is heaven, while the tablea cheesecake is dominated by butter.
I also like their flavored beers, i tasted all and i love the strawberry beer the most since i like strawberries.
Their take on kare kare is superb! I like how they consistently maintain their bagnet's taste and crispiness everytime I eat here. This will always be one of my favorite resto in maginhawa, plus the chill and simple ambiance is perfect for dining! :)
Dined here last week and had the Sisig Carbonara. It was okay. Didn't taste the "sisig" part, though. It tasted like a normal Carbonara with extra sauce. Service and ambience were okay.
I've tried their tempura oysters, tuna shiitake pasta (I always order this one), lengua, and their kare kareng bagnet. All do not disappoint! The food + ambiance make you want to go back. :D
Lunch date with my kumare afforded an opportunity to dine at and try out a new culinary haven in Maginhawa (well, Malingap actually). I arrived ahead than scheduled, so I ordered for the both of us. Reading some of Pino's Zomato reviews, I opted for the following items: Kare-Kareng Bagnet, Tofu Balls,, Nori Cheesesticks, and Wasabi Onion Rings. For our drinks, the Lemongrass-Ginger Cucumber Cooler.
Waiting time was just 20 minutes. First to come out were the onion rings. I liked it. It was simple and the serving was generous. The hint of wasabi may be underwhelming for some people but I found it subtly teasing. Then came the tofu balls. I didn't taste anything extraordinary. They were okay but not outrageously delicious. The cheesesticks were a winner for me. I love the saltiness of the cheese and the tart, sweet and sour sauce that accompanied it. Finally, the raison d'etre for Pino's buzz - the kare-kareng Bagnet. Their version is deconstructed, which I'm not a big fan of. There were three large slabs of the Ilocano delicacy. I finished only one. My kumare loved the sauce and the bagnet. I was not that convinced. I've tasted better versions of this Pinoy fiesta staple. But the cooler was refreshing. Love the combination of flavors. Now, for dessert, we tried the vegan leche flan. It's purported to be dairy- and egg-free. At first bite, the flan had an aftertaste. It was like eating grass. But surprisingly, after a few more bites it tasted increasingly good. It grows on you! @I will come back and sample the other fares next time.
For starters, we ordered tempura oysters and their tofu balls. My daughter loves its, she even asked for a 2nd order of the tofu balls, pambaon daw sa school. We were surprised when their Kare kareng bagnet was served, we were not expecting to see crispy bagnet slices with thick, creamy and tasty peanut butter sauce with the veggies on the side. This is not the usual kaker kare that we often see. The Binusog na pusit w/ kesong puti very appealing, grilled right and stuffed with tomatoes, onions and kesong puti! Their sinigang na salmon sa miso and bayabas something worth coming back for. Salmon was meaty, broth was not too sour and veggies were not overcooked. We also had their cripsy hito witj ensaladang talong which was indeed very crispy, wala kang ititira. Thei sizzling laing was great although it didn't seemed like it was sizzling. We also ordered sariwang lumpia with strips of rice cripies. The service was great as well. All in all, it was a satisfying dinner with great food and well complemented with great service.
For starters we tried their Wasabi Onion Rings and Tofu Balls.
The moment I read wasabi onion rings on the menu, I knew I had to order it. The batter was not too thick and you could really taste the wasabi in it. I would have preferred a little more of the spicy kick though. The honey tomato dip was a good complement to it as well.
The tofu balls were perfect. The texture and taste of the shredded tofu, cheese, and spices mended well together. The dollop of mustard, sour cream, and pesto sauce added to the great explosion of flavours.
For our mains we got their Seafood Kare-Kare and Chicken Inasal Caesar Salad.
I was excited to try their seafood kare-kare because I have been craving for days. I was disappointed with the portion of the peanut butter sauce but it was tasty and creamy enough. The dish had shrimps, fish, squids, mussels, and several vegetables. All elements were great except for the mussels. Although huge in portion, they weren't as fresh as I hoped them to be, some were dry and barely edible.
The salad had tender and flavourful chicken, and the portion was big enough for its price.
Overall our dining experience was a good one. The place was cozy enough and the ambiance was great.
Super thumbs up to kare kareng bagnet! Not your typical kare kare where there's a lot of soup, this is the kind of kare kare where the bagnet is really more than it's vegetables. So worth it.
Nori cheese sticks is also good. It has pesto sauce too. 😊
Staffs are also friendly and service is great.
The best kare-kareng bagnet for me!!! Quite difficult to have a reservation especially on a weekend, so make sure you go early. Plus points for the variety of drinks too :)
Dined here yesterday to treat my bestie and we just had a great quality time since the place is quiet. Nori cheesesticks is really a must-try, specially for cheese-lovers. Also got to try Kare-kareng Bagnet and Chicken Breast (or wrapped with?) with Ham Bacon Cheese that when I got to see it "oh it's Cordon Bleu pala" ahaha. Foods are served really fast and it's good for sharing. Good for three at most I suppose. Just enough for two. :)
Hm the desserts are a bit pricey I think. We tried Tablea Cheesecake and Mango Sansrival. Well just for the serving size, but I guess it's worth the taste naman.
I've been a few times already and we keep on coming back because they serve good food.
Our usual order:
Kare kareng bagnet - my favorite. The bagnet is thickly sliced but it's still crispy.
It's really good.
Tempura oysters and pearls - I like this one and its also good.
Mini sisig tacos -...
Ordered Chicharon Bulaklak, Nori Cheese sticks, Kare kare Bagnet and Paksiw Ribs.
Worth the Price!
Yummy and Big serving :)
My expectations was beyond met!
The place is so nice but kinda small. Good thing we went on Tuesday.
Friendly servers.
Will definitely go back :)
Will try other dishes soon!
Our second food stop during our first Maginhawa food trip was Pino Resto Bar as I have been eying its Choco Turon for some time now.
Hello, Pino!
I can’t help notice the cute doodles on the wall of Pino upon entering. It definitely gave the restaurant an artistic vibe.
As we know that we have two other stops left, we decided to stick with just two orders (and two desserts and a drink… a giant one). We ordered the Kare-Kareng Bagnet, Laing-Stuffed Crispy Pata, Pino Choco Turon, Banana Sherbet and Pino-Ka Margarita!.
The Kare-Kareng Bagnet was delightful! The Kare-Kare sauce and the somewhat crispy bagnet (it wasn’t very crispy anymore as it was soaked in the sauce) had a great mix of flavors and textures. The sauce had this slightly sweet peanut taste and it was quite refreshing for me to have it with something crispy. Since the bagnet was already salty, there’s not much need for bagoong (shrimp paste). I now understand why this is the house specialty of Pino.
As for the Laing-Stuffed Crispy Pata, IT WAS SIMPLY DIVINE! The laing made us less guilty devouring the not really good for the body happy food crispy pata. The laing was cooked well though I hoped that the serving was a tad more generous. I have no bad feedback on the serving of the crispy pata as all four of us were content and happy with our portions (though I actually ate more of the Kare-Kareng Bagnet).
As for the desserts, the Pino Choco Turon was so-so. I guess I was expecting it to be like the turon I had from 2nd’s that I just could not forget. Or perhaps I just had too much turon with a twist that this did not surprise me at all. But at a price of PHP110, this dessert is not bad at all. It was sweet and crunchy and the serving was not stingy at all. What I liked best about this one was that it was not very sweet that will eventually make you cringe instead of smile.
The Banana Sherbet was quite refreshing. I was hoping that it’d look more yellow though. But for a PHP35 dessert, it was a great deal.
We had difficulty finishing the Pino-Ka Margarita as it was served in a huge glass. At first I thought that at PHP350 per glass, it was pricey but now seeing how gigantic the glass was, it was a steal.
The taste of alcohol was really strong at first but it eventually became lighter as the ice melt. I’m proud to say that I managed to finish more than a quarter of it and it was not even 3PM then.
Overall, my dining experience at Pino was great. I even posed beside the cute wall. I’d definitely go back for more of that Kare-Kareng Bagnet.
Actually this is my second time to try Pino. My first is posted in Tourist Guide for a Weekend Blog. But my bad, I wasn't able to take photos of Pino and their food. So this time this is it! . If you have been reading my blog from the very beginning. My family and I really loves our own food, Filipino Cuisine.
One of the most unassuming and underrated eats off the much raved about Maginhawa row in Sikatuna Village is Pino. They seem to have regular patrons who want to linger even after the meal is over. Maybe it's the coffee and the tablea cheesecake. They do have a way with bagnet that delights me. We had deconstructed bagnet kare-kare where the meat is crispy on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. The veggies were crunchy while the peanut sauce and bagoong were complimentary flavors that were never overpowering. Crispy catfish could rival any Thai restaurant's offering. The Nori cheese sticks in strawberry sauce (wrap your head around that) kept my taste buds at attention. The best thing is the price and portion size. A single order is enough to feed three. Price? Let the bill surprise you.
Pino has an alter ego restaurant in the upstairs room called, Pipino. It's all vegetarian (but I hear is not intimidating for non-vegans). Indulgent dining downstairs, intelligent dining upstairs. Come!
My friend treated us here for her birthday. The place is too crowded maybe because it's small but the food tastes great. I just wish they had wifi so we could upload photos right away. As a food blogger, connectivity to the internet is very important during meals. The photos being uploaded can also be a good marketig strategy for the restaurant. So I think they should offer it. Also, they should expand the place or transfer along Maginhawa wherein they would be more easy to find.
This was my favorite Teacher's Village resto until our second visit. First time we dine here we had Kare Kareng Bagnet and Chicken Cordon Bleu which we really enjoyed and we even recommended the place to our friends. But when we decided to go back and tried other dishes, it was a totally different story. We ordered Bagnet Binagoongan and Nori Fish and Chips which we both did not enjoy. We barely tasted the bagoong in their binagoongan and the batter of the fish is really nakakaumay. Will I still go back to this place? I still have to think about it. Haha
You will never go wrong with Pino's. Every dish is distinctively good. It is a gem restaurant this side of the metro. Their bagnet kare-kare and sisig tacos are my favorites.
Pino’s kare-kareng bagnet is a must! 🙂 If you’re looking for a place to unwind and get a few drinks, this is a place to be. I LOVE that it’s in a village because it’s more homey and less traffic. My friend and I went to Pino on a Friday night and it was so chill and awesome!

The ambiance of the place is casual. Decorations were good and consistent throughout the restaurant. It can seat about probably about 24-30 people.
We ordered the nori cheesestick, kare lare bagnet, and red wine adobo tadyang. The nori cheesestick was good as the sauce was sweet and a bit tangy which complimented the nori and cheesestick. The kare kare bagnet is deconstructed and when all components are eaten together, its good. I like the peanut sauce and the bagoong which compliments really well. Just remember to sauce the bagnet because eating it by itself, you can feel the oiliness going down to your stomach after a while. The red wine adobo tadyang was really good. I only had a few bites but it made a really strong impact. Not your typical adobo as it is a modern taste. It is not the usual salty nor have that strong soy sauce taste. The portions for all three dishes were pretty big. The price is good for its quality and a bit of their quantity.
I only had their house Pinto ice tea which was good but generic, did not stand out. I will come back to taste their flavored beer though. Therefore, it is a restaurant that I would recommend.
During one of my food hunts along Maginhawa, I ended un having lunch here at Pino. Had their Nori Cheese Sticks and Sisig Pasta and it was great!. The taste of the was subtle and not overpowering that it just blends perfectly with the saltiness of the cheese. The pasta on the other hand had generous servings of sisig! the pasta is like a carbonara but had sisig instead of the traditional bacon!
FOOD: Only got to try one dish; the Nori Cheesesticks and it was really, really good! I like how the dish was a surprise, with the raspberry sauce adding a great taste.
AMBIANCE: Went there for the Malufeté gig so there were lots of people but it was fun and there was live music. Hope they would do it again!
SERVICE: They were okay and not rude. Though I may need to come back on a regular visit to improve this review! :)
Their kare-kareng bagnet is a must try! Every time I come back to this place (been here 5 times already), this is always the first order.. I wish they add more of the peanut sauce though.. Aside from the bagnet, the calamares negra is also a hit.. The place is nice although, there's just a few seats available.. I hope they expand and get a bigger place so more people can experience the awesomeness of this resto.. Thumbs up!
Looking for a place to eat dinner we headed to pino. The facade seems inviting with friends and family are sharing food and laughs. We were seated at the back portion which is perfect in during daytime meals. It's a plus to know that they let customers with dogs to that part of the restaurant .
The server handed two menus. Other than the regular pino menu there's Pipino, a version that features the vegetarian items.
We chose the chicken breast with bacon and cheese stuffing. For starters, we picked the wasabi onion rings.
We did not get a chance to take a picture of the appetizer since we were starving. The onion rings is a large portion and can serve 2-3 persons. The wasabi taste was not evident enough so i suggest readers to specify how much you want to feel that wasabi kick. Though this was a welcome change of pace to usual appetizers.
The chicken breast might appear underwhelming at first. I said that because I had imagined a different presentation. What came to the table is a rendition of chicken cordon bleau. I think this differs sinceit has actual bacon. What made it delectable is the mixture of the sauce that looks like gravy and mango.
For dessert we had leche flan infused with pandan. Looking at it, it seems so plain with whip cream on top but do not let the appearance fool you. It's by far the yummiest flan i've tasted in a while. It does not taste too sweet nor bland, plus it has a trick to taste like flan but the infused pandan changes the impression on your palate. Definitely recommend this for a different style of flan.
If you are planning to spend your dinner in teachers village, you can visit Pino for their different take on familiar dishes.

One of the best restaurants in this area. We dined in last night and I fell in love with their Pork binagoongan and Sea Food kare-kare! Customer service is great too. Parking is okay with a little improvement needed on their washrooms.
Easily one of my favorite restos in Maginhawa, Pino offers Filipino food which is ironically (or not) the cuisine I hardly get outside the house, and takes it to a whole other level. I'm a huge fan of their Crispy Bagnet Kare-Kare and it says something when I tell you, this is "a competitor of my mom's kare-kare". It's really not much of a kare-kare dish but the goodness of this one is too sinfully addicting--it's an indulgence! For the price, you get three succulently crunchy, crispy and tender slabs of bagnet. The kind you'd want to eat forever and ever. Dip it to that peanut based sauce and I swear you'll be in heaven. We've also tried their stuffed squid with mango tomato salsa and though the squid was a bit tough to eat (but not the rubbery kind), flavors blended well. Only dish we've tried that we weren't a fan of was the oysters that didn't taste the freshest. Add on the service of the staff could be improved as well. People had to be on the wait list and they weren't that attentive. Had to call them twice for their menu.
Because it's one of the only places in the Maginhawa (adjacent) area that serves beer and alcohol, I'd definitely come back to Pino. Unfortunately, the food just isn't that impressive for what you pay.
The place itself is very nice. The staff is very helpful and I like that you can order from the other Pino group restaurants that are above and beside Pino.
We were supposed to go to Gold's Gym but we were so hungry and traffic was bad that night that our tummy lead us here. We ordered the kare-kareng bagnet and we were not disappointed. No regrets at all not going to the gym that night! Now we call it our 'pre-gym' meal. Lol

It's my third time in Pino and I am still such a of their food. Great service, generous serving size and delightful food. Today I ordered the bacon and cheese wrapped in chicken breast, in short, cordon bleu. My order was out in 2 minutes. I couldn't believe it myself! For that, service deserves an automatic 5!
However I was a tad bit disappointed because the chicken was a bit rough. Despite the short time of serving, they may have over fried the chicken perhaps. The bacon inside was too thick too. There was a part that was rubbery.
Maybe it was just a bad batch. Like I said, I am still a fan of their food so I insist its still a must visit. For my recommendation on what to order, just get the kare-kare bagnet, that's what I had before and it was delish! The serving size is good enough for two.
The place is always crowded and parking is a hassle. I'm not sure if they accept reservations but I highly recommend you do. We always end up waiting for a table whenever we go here.
When edgy meets green. How can that possibly be? When you order a handful of Filipino dishes with awesome food presentation! The tacos are just right and the nachos is heavenly made from veggie ingredients. It's nothing like a mini Paris to me 💕 ces't Perfait!!
Pino's kare-kareng bagnet is a must! :) If you're looking for a place to unwind and get a few drinks, this is a place to be. I LOVE that it's in a village because it's more homey and less traffic. My friend and I went to Pino on a Friday night and it was so chill and awesome!

Kung hanap mo ng Filipino dishes you've been looking for and craving for. .this is the place for you.. you must try their crispy kare kare!!!! Superb! 😀😀😀
This is the perfect place for my cheat day. They offer a great service and high quality of food. Their best selling kare kareng bagnet is perfectly prepared for my meticulous taste buds and famished tummy. It is so good to indulge to their set of food.
Everything is worth the pay. Happy returning customer here. 👌🏼
Ok din dito sa Pino if you are craving for vegetarian food, kasi sa taas nya yung pipino resto dun yung puro vegetarian foods, sa baba naman yung Pino which is mostly pinoy foods, sa baba pwede mag order ng galing sa taas, pero pag once nasa taas kana di ka pwede mag order ng food galing sa baba kasi purley vegetarian lang ang sa taas. The place is cozy and may ample parking which is mahirap dito sa maginhawa kaya parking space is a plus, plus also sa interior design. The staffs are very nice and are attentive to your needs. We ordered their sisig tacos and their signature blend pino iced tea. The tea is very good, the sisig tacos are good too. We didn't tried their bagnet kare kare which they say is their best seller. Kaya nag order nalang kami ng vege salad which is the kinoa salad. The salad is also very good with fresh ingredients. The price here is medyo mataas, pero i think its reasonable naman. The servings are good for sharing kaya sulit na rin.
Pino challenged the increasing demand for healthier food by featuring unique creations.
In my last visit I had the Watermelon Steak with mushroom, asparagus and mashed taro. Really it was my first time to have a fruits steak. It was okay. I liked the mashed taro since am always been a fan of that crop. My friend had me taste her Stuffed Demi Dried Tomatoes with brown rice, mushroom salpicao and orange leak salad. This one was tastier and shall I say more dynamic than what I had. I hope more dishes like these come up in the metro. It really encourages two things: creativity in food combinations and healthier lifestyle. Am in for both.
Great food, big serving,we specially like the binangonan bagnet, tofu bagnet, and the bam-i pancit and the tuyo seafood pastal, the solo meal is good for two person sharing, thumbs up,service crew is very attentive.Great job!!!
A Malingap Street classic. This place has been constantly evolving, expanding their restaurant and menu to accommodate and satisfy more customers.
Personal favorites include: Kare-Kareng Bagnet and Tuna Shitake Pasta. I've tried most of their appetizers and not once was I disappointed.
Pipino is a different story.
1. Small parking area.
2. Bagnet is quite salty but the kare kare is a must-try. The sauce is just right for the saltiness of bagnet.
3. Price is not too bad. Around 500-600 for 2 people. (no drinks just water)
Overall I would recommend this for those who craves for good pinoy food.

It was my first time in Pino and everything we ordered was good. The large option for some dishes are good for sharing amongst 4-5 people. Ended up spending about P400 per person. Not bad considering we were all so full and satisfied with all the dishes. Will definitely visit again.
We were roaming around Teacher's Village on a rainy afternoon and came across this place. We haven't tried everything in here but the food we had was fine. A so-so diner for me. Maybe I'll visit this place again and try more from their fairly priced menu.
P.S. Their wall doodle was really cute and very artistic :)
Bagnet overload! Try their Kare-kareng bagnet for the perfect putok batok experience. Always go for a pitcher of their amazing iced tea. Flavored beer is ok too. Or if you really want to have a good time, try their gargantuan margaritas for sharing.
Masarap yung sisig taco nila. May mga kasamang dahon dahon. Ang healthy niya eh. Grabe lang sa sarap! Affordable din lahat ng mga putahe nila. Very unique ng concept. Babalik ako dito. Sure yan. Sasama ko si Erika
Pino's kare-kareng bagnet is always the best! I have encountered other restaurants trying to replicate it but nah, Pino pa rin! (Tip: you can ask for extra kare-kare sauce and they'll give it for free!)
I also love Pino's flavored beers and their appetizers esp their longganisa tacos.
If there's one thing that I'm not so pleased with, it would be their spicy tuyo pesto pasta. Not that it tastes awful. It's actually good. I just feel that the name is misleading because nothing in the dish is spicy, not even the tuyo.
Nevertheless, I will always still bring and introduce my friends to this place which serves my most loved comfort food (kare-kareng bagnet ❤️)
The restaurant is amazing. For starters, we had the nori cheesticks. It was a real delight eating them, imagine cheesticks with nori inside it then drizzled with cranberry sauce. I almost got full i thought i wont be able to eat my main course. The binagoongang bagnet was really, really crispy, almost like chicharon and complemented well with the bagoong. The lechon paksiw ribs on the other hand was also good. They put real liver meat for the pebre sauce but i think it lacked a bit of the vinegar. The iced tea was okay as well. The only downside for me is that i wish they could expand their airconditioned area since the al fresco area is kinda warm and dark and slightly dampens the appetite.
I love their Kare-kare bagnet although they should make the taste consistent. Minsan sobrang alat. :( Ambiance is good. You might want to try their cheesestick as well.

Binangoongang Bagnet and Kare Kare bagnet are really good!!! This kind of food should only be taken once in a few months as its "deadly". One of the best "lechon kawali" places out there. My favorite resto in Teacher's village :)
If you love Filipino food, you must visit Pino. They give Filipino food a great twist. My personal fave is their Kare-Kareng Bagnet, but there are a lot of great choices on their menu. You may also want to try their flavored beers, those are good, too.
The Very Addictive kind of Meal' Hands up for Kare Kareng Bagnet! You get value for your money 👍🏼 small and cozy restaurant with excellent foodie ⭐️
Pino has some innovativeness but not much for it to stand out.
We had to try the kare-kareng bagnet (P275). It was nice and crispy. Good kare-kare sauce with bagoong rice and blanched vegetables.
Next was the Red wine adobong beef tadyang (P265). The meat was tender with a subdued tasting adobo sauce on a ramekin. Very safe flavors that could easily please most people.
What I really really really liked was the Tablea Cheesecake (P185). It was a generous portion of cheesecake that reminds me of the Royce chocolate cheese I had in Japan. Rich creamy and not too sweet. A real treat!
I don't know why, but this place just makes me happy! Aside from the obvious reason (it's vegetarian-friendly), there's something about the restaurant's ambiance and food that gives you the feeling that you're actually eating something good for you.
I've been here several times because of its proximity to my school, and have never been disappointed even once. The dishes are traditional with a twist (the twist? they taste good!), and are priced moderately and appropriately. The ambiance is relaxing, with the artsy walls and decor. The service, fast and good.
And oh, Pipino upstairs! I can't even begin to describe how I feel about that place! Definitely worth a visit for the food and the experience!
Love the place, very near our office and other restaurants so if you wanna go resto hopping in Maginhawa, dont forget to try here. Healthy and yum yum. Two thumbs up.
Pino is in my top 3 go-to restaurants in the Teachers-Sikatuna Village area for friends and family eating in this neighborhood for the first time. Their food will do you proud and make your tummies happy -- Filipino favorites made more interesting!
And then when I crave a beer, I always think fondly of their Honeymansi flavored beer! I would visit just for the beer! But then there's the food. ...
A word of warning to sound-sensitive souls. Terrible acoustics here -- you don't really go to Pino for a conversation, except if you mean those from all the other tables! ;)
Super love this place! the food and even the drinks! We go to this place for their flavored beers. Serving is relatively big too. Though the parking space is limited for the Maginhawa Branch, I'm not sure with Jupiter though..

Pino is a casual dining type of restaurant which really has a good ambiance and just the right volume of music. I also must add that it's kind of cold there which is perfect for this scorching heat in the city. Btw, they also have great service there! Their crew is one of the most friendly and all smiles waiters that I've encountered. Thumbs up for that! 👍
Okay. Now let's go to the food part. Yaaaay!
What I have in here is the Mini Sisig Tacos, Bacon & Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast, and Kare-Kareng Bagnet.
So for appetizer, of course, we had the Mini Sisig Tacos. I tell you, it was one of the best tacos that I've ever had...so far! Even more so when you add their hot sauce to it!!! Ahhhhh. Heaven!!! Plus, it's really "sulit" considering they serve 10 mini tacos for only P255. But don't consume it all at once! Remember, you still have your main course, which I must say, have a really HUGE serving.
Next, we have the Bacon & Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast (P265), which my friend ordered. It's like cordon bleu in presentation, only it's just way much more delicious. I highly recommend this dish to everyone. Try it for yourself and you'll know why.
Lastly, I had the Kare-Kareng Bagnet (P275). This is my most awaited dish in this restaurant because a lot of people are recommending this also, in reviews and blogs. Anyway, this dish is not new to anyone considering that numbers of restaurant have it in their menu as well. However, there's just something different in the way that Pino Restaurant does it. The texture, quality, and the taste. Best one yet!! Not to mention, they have big servings for it!! Just a warning for female foodie like me who's already "matakaw", it's really hard to consume it in just one seating. But yeah, it's up to you!! But I highly recommend this for the male foodies!! I'm pretty sure that you guys would order extra rice. 😉
All in all, I am very satisfied about everything in this Restaurant!! 😄 Hope you guys would experience the same. Ciao!
I've been hearing about this restaurant from my friends and TV shows but never got the time to visit it until now! Totally not regretting the visit because the food and service here was great!
First, service: servers were very accommodating. When we entered the restaurant, they immediately welcomed us with a warm smile. Also, knowing that it was a million degrees outside, they opened the air-conditioning nearest us. They were attentive throughout our whole stay.
Second, the food! We ordered three dishes and two desserts: Kare-Kareng Bagnet (with bagoong rice), Bacon&Cheese-Stuffed Chicken (with mango rice(!)), Spicy Tuyo Pesto, Tablea Cheesecake, and Choco Turon. They were all mouth-watering, but I would definitely recommend the Spicy Tuyo Pesto best. Although I didn't taste the spicyness much, it was still creamy and delicious.
Would definitely come back to try more of what they have to offer!
This place has simple interior design but still has a nice ambiance. I love the food here. They sound weird and exotic but they taste so good! I tried their sisig carbonara and it was delicious even though it doesn't sound appetizing at all. Plus the dessert. Tableta cheesecake. It was kind of bitter but the sweetness is still there.
Flavorful beer and awesome food!
A good barkada hang out get away!...
Over-all
Food: 8/10
Service: 9/10
Place/ambiance: 9/10
Value for money: 8/10
Air-conditioned with a chill vibe, the restaurant was quite busy when we went there for dinner. They also have tables set up at the back (smoking area) for those late night inuman sessions with your barkada.
Their Kare-kareng Bagnet deserves to have two photos! It was soooo good! Personally, kare-kare is not in my top Filipino favorites, but this dish made me totally reconsider my food ranking. The bagnet’s meat was tender and moist, and the skin was crispy. The bagnet was a perfect complement to the veggies and peanut sauce of the dish. I wasn’t able to finish all of the bagoong side dish, because the bagoong rice was already flavourful.
Pino Chicken Inasal. The chicken’s meat was tender and juicy. It was quite good, but I don’t think that the crispy kangkong was the perfect side for this dish. The breading was too thick and oily. It was good, the oil made it hard for me to eat all of the crispy kangkong.
Would go back to this restaurant to try their other dishes!

The food was actually served in large portions, which made it worthy of its price range. I was able to taste the sisig and binagoongang bagnet, and the latter was the much preferred dish. I think like all restaurants, they have their fortes in recipes and others just lacked a little luster over the other. (The sisig didn't really leave a lasting impression.)
However I do commend the refreshing ambiance brought about by their choice of modern art that decorated their walls. It added to the overall appeal of the restaurant.

My first time to try this was during our fieldwork in Quezon city. A friend suggested to have lunch here instead since we want something light and healthy.
It was a small place but with cute artsy interior. I ordered the Eggplant with creamy tofu and brown rice and it was good! A friend ordered Watermelon steak (seriously, they grilled the watermelon) hahaha
We also had kare kare with bagnet. That putok batok experience was all worth it! :)
Food is good. We tried their kare-kareng bagnet and it was good. Serving is big both for the main meal and the dessert. Their sansrival is good for about 3 people.
The restaurant is clean, has good ambiance and their staff are friendly.

The food is great. The way they present it is very appealing to the eyes. I had Binagoongang Bagnet and it tastes good. The food is somewhat pricey. All the staffs are nice and friendly.

Price: 3.5/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Crew Service: 4/5
Must Try: Kare-Kareng Bagnet and Turon
One of the highly rated restaurants in Maginhawa, I decided to try out Pino. They were packed on a Sunday night. Upon sitting they would hand you the menu for Pino and their vegetarian offers, Pipino.
For starters, we got the sisig mini tacos which for me was a really nice twist with the sisig very falvorful. We ordered their very famous Bagnet Kare-kare which did not disappoint, it was what I was looking forward to and better. It was crispy bagnet in a thick bed of vegetables and sauce perfectly paired with bagoong rice. We also got Bacon and Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast but it is actually very similar to your typical “Cordon Bleu” with a different name. Two of these in large were more than enough for five. We also got the sisig pasta and I liked the combination.
Service was good and quick as well and they were adequately staffed. I suggest they expand the place though!
