I’m a dessert lover and I’m very particular with the taste of cakes. I was a bit hesitant trying this shop but since it was holiday season, I didnt want long lines. I bought 7 heaven and the original cheesecake. Their cakes are worth the price! I love it! I didnt regret trying their cakes! I will definitely come back and try for more!

My go-to place when I am just along Morato. The place is so cozy. Prices are reasonable. I always order Matcha Pudding and Dulce de Leche, but their bestseller is Mango Walnut Torte. Big serving size for rice meals, pasta, etc. I visit this place with friends most of the time.

Some people may dine in at Kitchen of Cakes & Coffee for the desserts but I love KOCC because of their pasta! I honestly think that they are underrated when it comes to their main dishes such as these two that I usually have and recommend to my friends.

Creamy Bacon Penne (on the left) is so creamy and I love that they added bacon with the sauce. I also love that the penne isn’t over-cooked. Meanwhile, the Classic Spaghetti in Tomato Sauce has a sour tomato sauce which I prefer over sweet ones. It’s really saucy unlike the others that I have tasted, which seemed a bit dry.

I recommend you to try these ones! #italian #pasta #tomas #tomasmorato #carbonara #spaghetti

They offer really affordable cakes! My friends and I just happen to pass by here because we were looking for another cake shop. So we stopped by and checked their cakes and decided to get one here na lang for our surprise bridal party to one of our friend. It was hard for us to choose because all of them looks really yummyyy. Good thing they have tables and chairs for dine-in customers. Will surely drop by next time and order a slice in each flavors. Haha

Their Creme Brulee cake was to die for!! one of the fluffiest cakes I've had in my life, plus the filling was not too sweet.
Tried their Kocco Jello after a stressful day, masarap, parang may kasamang happiness haha! Although, it doesn't look so appealing, the taste was sheer bliss. 😊

One of my go-to places. The cakes are affordable, just the right amount of sweetness (also heard another customer order a sugar-free cake, just ask their staff for what type of cake this can be availed). Food servings are large, just right for the price. Their coffee though are bland and too sweet for my taste.

The staff are accommodating, which is a plus for this establishment. Wifi is so-so but there are sockets. Best to go here after lunch to early evening for working or studying.

What a simple place yet an peaceful and good service with good interior. For the food it’s appreciated enough. A good place for a chat and a cup of coffee in the middle of night.

Didn't expect to love this place. Went in not expecting anything, really.

Surprised that, despite the appearance (compared to others' version), their mango torte was really yummy!

The decandent cake was also good. The kind of chocolate cake to satisfy your craving.

But the best was their loose leaf tea - very good quality. We all enjoyed it. We had the serene and another "sleeping"/"relaxing" tea. I can't wait to go back and try their other interesting tea flavor.

Kitchen of Cakes and Coffee or KOCC has been around for quite some time now. I still remember ordering my little boy's birthday cake from the owner her self. It was a circus themed tiered cake. While KOCC has grown, their cakes remain true-- original, fresh and yup yummy. Oh wait, did I say their prices are so reasonable?

This is one of my go-to cafes when I'm in the mood for studying. The staff are very nice, accommodating and friendly! The food choices are great and the cakes and pastries are delicious. They're also affordable! The interior environment is just okay and their cafe space is small. Their WiFi is always accessible and is absolutely free.

Cakes and pastries - Of course from the name of the cafe itself, their signature food are the cakes. They have four major types - Chocolate Cakes, Meringue Cakes, Cheesecakes and All-Time Favorites. I love their Decadent Cake and Creme Brulee. Actually, all their chocolate cakes are delicious! It can definitely satisfy dessert cravings. I also like their 🍪 cookies. Sometimes I bring home these goodies.

Drinks - I cannot take caffeine (health reasons) so I'm happy when cafes have a wide array of non-espresso drinks. I love all their fruit smoothies especially the Creamy Mango.

Pasta and dishes - I like their tuna pesto. My friend loves the soup dishes, especially the one placed inside a bread dish. I just hope they have more Halal food choices. A lot has pork in it.

Overall, it's simplicity, affordability and food/drinks are worth the time. I would still go back over and over again to this cafe.

I've been to several cafes and nooks in Tomas Morato but I've never tried Kitchen of Cakes, even the one in Trinoma. It's simple and not too loud facade must have never really caught my attention before. But because it was about to rain and my boyfriend got tired walking around, we decided to try this spot. The place was small, with half of the first floor occupied by the counter area. I ordered chocolate cake which costs less than 100 pesos (definitely a steal) and a iced matcha (forgot the exact name, sorry). We went to the second floor which is more spacious and quiet. Our food arrived and we finished it the exact the we finished the movie we watched on our laptop, not because it was not good but because the serving size is big. We even noticed that from the orders made by other customers. The cake was divine, it was moist and the brownie cake type I always wanted. The matcha was also great but it leaned more on the citrusy side. Overally, it was a worth it experience. A great place to hangout and enjoy great food while on a budget.

Living just a few meters away from this place, I can't remember how many times I've gone on a cake run to KOCC just to satisfy my cravings. With so many cakes to choose from, which are all good by the way, its like having a cake for each day of the month. The food and drinks they serve are decent too.

Number of times visited: More than 10X!

Parking: Limited like most Morato establishments, infront of the store only.

Food: The food in general is just okay. Not too bad, nothing out of this world either. I ordered some of the meals already and because I can’t even remember what they taste like, I’d say forgettable.

The cakes are generally good. Not too sweet and cloying. One favorite is the Mango Walnut Torte. For the drinks, go for the teapot if you want bang for the buck. A teapot can be shared by two people already. They have good servings of hot tea compared to other coffee and tea places. For the cold drinks, try the Montezuma.

Price: Affordable. You might spend around Php200/person with drinks. Cake slices are priced around Php90-Php110. You can even share the cake if you’re not a big eater.

Service: They are really warm and accommodating. They even recognize regular customers. This is one of the reasons why we frequent this place and why we rate it higher even though the food is just so-so.

Place: There are two floors, and the 2nd floor smells quite musty. The rest of the place is just okay. It’s a good place to have coffee and catch up with friends. The place is rarely crowded. Airconditioned and there’s a small dining area outside.

Repeat? Yes and yes! We love this place! Friendly people and good enough food!

As we entered the cafe, a huge menu welcomed us. It was literally so huge that it almost hit the ceiling of the two-story cafe. If you are going to look around the cafe, you will notice that the place is plain and simple and there’s nothing really special about it but wait until they serve their food.

First, we had Pick up Sticks. No, this is not a toy. It’s bacon and egg, together with a sugar free bread. What we loved with Pick up Sticks is that their bread is toasted but not oily and it is sweet but there’s no sugar. How’s that possible? Yes they made it possible. It is also quite healthy to eat because they used special kind of oil and flour. Next is the Strawberry Surprise Trifle Frost. We were intrigued with the name so our question was, what’s with the surprise? Fresh strawberry and mangoes on top, together with crumbled cookies and whip cream. What makes it different with any other trifle is that it is done with a shake. And they claimed that their Strawberry Surprise Trifle Frost is first of its kind and available only here in the Philippines. And for our cakes, we ordered 7th Heaven, Mango Wall nut Tart and Chocolate Toffee Tart. My personal favorite was 7th Heaven since I’m a huge fan of chocolates but all the cakes were good and satisfying.

Loooove the Decadent cake! Love the brewed coffee. Love the ambiance.... well, except for the music. The music that they are playing doesn't fit the place. Perhaps, changing it to a not-so-rock music :)

I looked for a dessert place in Tomas Morato and found Kitchen of Cakes. It looks appealing on the outside so i tried it.

PRICE-i was surprised to see the prices in their menu. This cake is P90/slice and the brewed coffee is P95. (those cookies were free❤️)
FOOD-the cake is good! I didnt expect it to taste that good given the price. But the coffee has a very strong taste. I had to put more milk and sugar.
AMBIANCE-it was relaxing. Good enough for a coffee date.
SERVICE-they are very accommodating. They even gave me free cookies! It was soooo good. I actually wanted to go back and buy more cookies. 😂

After our heavy dinner at Rub, my palate just craved for something sweet. Luckily, just a few blocks away was this dessert place. I already forgot the exact names of cakes we got, but one was blueberry cheesecake and the other one was this moist, almost brownie in texture chocolate cake.

I was glad that they keep their blueberry cheesecake simple, letting the cream cheese and blueberry speaks for itself. No complex flavors just spot on for classic cheesecake. For the chocolate cake, I already pre-described that it was almost brownie-like in texture. I'm a sucker for brownies, so hell yeah I loved it! On top of that was the rich chocolate ganache that covered the cake. Not too sweet just right on the money.

The place was a 2-storey building which I assumed always gets full house during weekdays, why you ask? It's a great place for students and professionals trying to get some work done in a quiet and relaxing place. Add in the affordable and well-crafted cakes plus coffee selections, then there goes a perfect spot.

They have very affordable menu but I don't know why they cost cut so much that the servings arent the same. The burgers and fries are super smaller than before. The rice meals are sooooo small. Before one meal can fill my tummy, now I had to order for side dish too, so sad it changes. The staff are nice, giving a high rating for that. Fix your servings sizes pls bring back the old one, even my friends who visited this place agreed.

My go-to for last minute cakes for ANY occasion!

My favorite is the creme brûlée cake. It's light and not too sweet for the palate. I truly appreciate its simplicity :)

The tortes and cheesecakes are good too, but nothing can beat the creme brûlée.

I usually don't have time to stay and try the meals, but maybe one of these days I'll give it a try.

Quick stop for affordable cake cravings. The place was a bit small but with simple interiors. We ordered a slice of blueberry cheesecake and dark charlotte mousse. In fairness their cakes weren't so sweet. The blueberry cheesecake looked a bit sad, maybe because it lacked blueberries on it, but surprisingly tasted yummy though. Will come back again to sample their other cakes.

First time to check on the assortment of their cakes. Bought a slice of each of the following: decadent (best seller accdg to the lady crew), red velvet, mango walnut torte, carrot cake & blueberry cheesecake. Loved every bit & every bite of each. Will definitely try a whole carrot cake next time, so soft & moist, then the mango walnut torte, then the blueberry cheesecake, then the decadent & the red velvet. 😊 lots of other cakes to try, too. Happy tummy!

After having dinner at Omakase, I decided to satisfy my sweet tooth here. I have been wishing to try this place because of their wide choices of cakes and cheap prices compared to other pastry shops.

I actually had a hard time choosing the cake that I want because there were lots of choices! And take note, they were not just ordinary flavors. My top choices were Mango Walnut Torte, Chocolate Toffee Torte, Coffee Tiramisu, La Vida Mocha, and Moist Carrot Cake. I end up ordering their La Vida Mocha while my friend ordered their Giant Whoopie Pie.

The cakes were immediately served along with glasses of water. If you could see, there was already a portion taken from my cake. That's how excited I was to eat my cake, that I forgot to take a picture before devouring it. The cake was moist and there was enough filling between each layer to add sufficient amount of sweetness to the cake. It is the reason why I liked it, the sweetness is just perfect to hit my sweet spot .

As for the Giant Whoopie Pie, I got to taste it and liked it as well because of its dense chocolate. But for me, it's too sweet so if you're not fond of eating sweet cakes, you might not finish a slice. It would be better to share it with a friend.

The place is not that spacious, but the second floor is good for studying or reading a book because of its quiet atmosphere. I also appreciated their idea of putting a teapot above a container with a candle inside to keep it hot while already on the customer's table.

Next time I'll eat in Tomas Morato, I will definitely come back and try my other choices of their cakes and maybe a coffee too.

After having a very heavy dinner, my friends and I headed straight here to have our sugar fix. Because we were stuffed to the seams, we decided to just have one cake for the three of us. We ordered one of their bestsellers, The Decadent. See here, I almost never prefer chocolate cakes when choosing what cake to buy. This was not even among my top choices when I took a look at their display. But one of my friends wanted anything related to chocolate so we unanimously decided to just order this.

Long story short, let's just say I swear fealty to this awesome chocolate cake!

I loved that it was so moist and dense yet not too sweet. I will definitely go back here for their Lemon Walnut Torte and Giant Whoopie Pie, which were my initial choices, really soon.

Just had dinner and wanted some dessert in another place. We stumbled at Kitchen of Cakes and Coffee and decided to try it. We ordered a slice of Black Forest Cake, which was cherry sabayon cream and chocolate chiffon drenched in rum. It was mouth-watering. I could probably finish a whole cake! My SO likes coffee not sweet, so we ordered the house special; the KoCCo brewed coffee. I don't know how to describe coffee, but this particularly had body and we both liked it. The coffee was 75php and the cake slice 80php.

The place is nice with booth seating for privacy while you enjoy your coffee. They also offer beans if you want roast at home.

I would return and would recommend the place for a light snack if you happen to be catching up with a friend.

I often come here to study or unwind. Mainly because of their tea selections (though sometimes the one you want isn't on stock), and the price. It's quiet and ideal for a relaxing tea break by yourself or with friends. Cakes are good though not spectacular; meals are also pretty decent. Since you can get practically your lunch/dinner, dessert, and tea, it's a good place to spend long hours in.

Not a lot of people notice this because of the small space it has. But once you do, you've found a gem!
Their frappes come with ice cream like whipped cream - sodamgood!
The Brulee drinks are awesome! You should definitely try that - hot or good, it's both good!
Their cakes are relatively cheaper than those of Starbucks and Coffee Bean! I was told their Dulce De Leche was good, but I find it dry and taste was nothing superior. My recommendatin would be the 7th Heaven & Mango Walnut Torte.
For those without Christmas presents yet, you might want to come and look at this place, they have nicely packaged ginger breads, cookies, brownies, etc. Perfect for Christmas gifts and giveaways to your colleagues and friends. Less hassle to wrap them up as they are cheerfully decorated in Santa Head metal cases and fancy colored papers!

Kitchen of cakes and coffee has 3 stores, last week we visited their sm north branch and yesterday is the tomas morato branch. I think this is the main. Very spacious and different to sm north branch.here are my verdict.

Food 5.0/5.0 - perfect. They offer cakes at a price of 80-120 per slice( very cheap ) . We tried their decadence which is very moist chocolate cake with chocolates on the circumference of the cake. Then the dulce cheesecake, not too sweet not too cheesy, the blend is well distributed. And their best cheesecake, the name says it all literally the best. It melts in your mouth. In this branch they offer some rice and pasta. Also try their collection of teas.

Service 5.0/5.0 - they welcomed us polite. They offered their best tasting cakes and suggest what is their best cakes. I like that this branch has a wifi and they gave us the password.

Ambiance/ location 5.0/5.0 - very nice location. Simple ambiance , but why i gave a grade of 5 ? Because the i felt that i was at home eating cakes and drinking tea. Very cold place and good place to chill, do school task and hangout with friends.

Truly this restaurant is one of my best. Sometimes it's not always the price makes the restaurant fabulous. What makes the restaurant best is through your satisfaction.

I went here by myself searching for a place to hang out. I tried their mango walnut cake and their avocado sans rival cake. Personally I do not think their cakes were all that special though an avocado sans rival cake was definitely unique. Personally, I do not like nuts and the mango walnut cake was alright for me due to my bias. Though I definitely appreciated the tartness and the crunchiness of the cake. The avocado sans rival was good too as you can really taste the avocado. The staff were friendly and the ambiance was good but their wifi is absolutely terrible as I did not even connect once. The proce of their cakes were definitely right up my alley as they were not expensive.

From the name itself, we really didn't had a second thought of dinning here for some dessert since we are really a fan of sweets. They have a very cozy ambiance. They also offer more seats upstairs. Quality of lighting plays important role to restaurants and coffee shops and I simply love it. Feels like home.
What I really could not forgot of all the cakes I'd tried here was the Really Quezo Cheesecake. A cheesecake variant made with queso de bola and cheddar cheese. The topmost part is the queso de bola surface, both the color and texture. Looks really really appealing because of its fiery attempt to catch your attention but to me it is not a type of cheesecake that I expected. Quite buttery and not that exuding the way cheesecake standard should be. But it tasted really good!
If you are looking for a dessert place or barkada hideout place, try this branch. Everything is affordable and choices of menu offerings are quite good. A relaxing and conducive place to be for late chill out in Quezon City. A kitchen full of sweets and wonderful surprises!

By the way, their Wi-Fi was very poor. But the great thing was, they have a friendly staff that keep on checking us if we were already connected and reseting the router. The staff also apologized for the bad connection. A great service will always be the best even if you had a bad experience dinning in. Will definitely go back!

If you want an alternative to the usual coffee chains in the Metro, there's one along T Morato that easily matches up. From the time they started with their first venture near Banawe (now closed) i was hooked with their exotic tea leaf selections and their cakes. If you're a sweet tooth i recommend their mango walnut torte. Their cheesecakes are also quite a treat!

After visiting the bazaar at ABS CBN a few weeks ago, I and my friends decided to look for a place to have coffee or tea and dessert. We headed to Tomas Morato since it offers a lot of choices. We were supposed to go to Kozui but it didn't offer much at that time (cakes were unavailable), we decided to try Kitchen of Cakes and Coffee and I am sure glad we did.

The place has two floors, though I was not able to go to the second floor and have a peek. The warm colors and homey ambiance are plus points especially that it was raining that time.

Since we were still full after having a meal somewhere else, we just decided to try their teas and have a slice of cake.

The display of various tin cans of tea flavors on the wall at the counter area and the variety of cakes were really nice.

We decided to try two tea flavors -- the Starry Night and Vanilla Rooibos. We all liked the Starry Night more because of its neutral flavor, the Vanilla Rooibos was too sweet for us. I liked the teapots where the tea leaves were infused. It had a little "stove" which has a small candle, which I guess was used to retain the hotness of the tea.

Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the cake we had but it had mango slices and nuts.

Will definitely try their other cakes next time. :)

I've been to KoCCo a number of times now, and its charm still hasn't faded for me. My friends and I usually drop by for dessert after dinner somewhere else, and their selection of cakes never disappoint. I'm particularly addicted to the Lemon Torte.

KoCCo also offers a number of teas, coffees and other drinks. I've never tried their coffee, opting most of the time for their mint hot chocolate (which is divine if you're a fan of the pairing), served with a cookie, or one of their numerous aromatic teas. Vanilla rooibos is my favorite, to date, but it's fun trying out new flavors to pair with the pastries. Will be trying out the savory offerings next time.

Isn't it obvious yet that I love this place so? =)

We discovered a new hang out place somewhere in Tomas Morato. Kitchen of Cakes and Coffee is similar to Bananapple except that it is a well kept secret. We ordered two milk teas in the matcha cheese and the ceylon black tea. Sorry to say but the ceylon is better than the matcha.

It was late at night but we are hungry so we ordered some eggs and bacon. The meal was good enough to satisfy our cravings and we really wanted more but it is really late and it might affect our diet.
