I was craving for dimsum for weeks so I asked my friends to eat here ar Tim Ho Wan. We ordered stir fried chow mein, prawn dumplings, beef ball with beancurd skin, jasmine tea and of course baked bbq pork buns. My fave is still the pork buns. It's sweet, soft and crumbly bread is baked perfectly and each bite you'll get chunks of tender tasty pork with bbq sauce. The prawn dumpling is also good. I like that it has good amount of shrimps inside and the thin delicate dimsum wrapper is soft and chewy. I always order beef ball dumpling (sometimes pork siomai) and chow mein and eat it together as if its just 1 dish then put some soy sauce with kalamansi. I like this combo because the noodles are a bit dry and under seasoned for my taste. To finish off my lunch I drink a cup of hot jasmine tea.
Rice with beef and fried egg, is my favorite rice meal to order from them, the taste of the beef patty sets the standards, perfect combination with egg on top.
It was a date with my mom. We did not have a hard time ordering thanks to Citibank’s promo. While it did not include pork buns, we ordered it anyway.
It was one of those days when my craving for meat bun was just too great. I normally give in. And give in, I did that late afternoon.
I had that crazily-delish three-piece bun with, you guessed, the equally-crazy Tim Ho Wan Milk Tea while listening to my current fave song on full volume on my headphone. In short, I was in heaven for an hour. If only I can do this everyday of my life..
✅One of the good restaurants we dine.
✅We seated right away and the staff are attentive.
✅We just waited too long for the food to be serve.
✅The taste of the food was great, the ambiance and also the cleanliness.
✅Price is just unfair for the portion size.
Noodle Soup with Pork Chops 🍜
Congee with Lean Pork Century Egg & Salted Egg 🥚
Pork Dumpling with Shrimp 🥟
The best Congee and Hakaw (Prawn Dumpling) for me. Hindi tinipid 'yung congee at kumpleto talaga from century eggs to pork meat. I also love their chili sauce.

This was the last place I went to before leaving from Philippines. I really liked the dumplings there and tried a couple of other things that I have forgotten now. I miss this place.
I love the siomai and the pork buns. They do not have a broad selection of food but those that they have were good. The service was fast and the servers are nice.
I always order Spring Roll with Egg White, Baked Bun, and Spinach Dumpling with Shrimp. For me their baked bun is so so good and you should try it out.
The baked pork bun is legit and deserves its Michellin star. At around 160 pesos, the food is the closest to real gourmet the money can get. The texture of the pork buns is impressive; it's granular, soft and almost sand-like when being chewed. I have never tried such dough before I tried Tim Ho Wan. Not giving a 5 because the noodles we ordered was not enjoyable.
It's been a while since I have tried their other offerings. I hope their other dishes can lived up to their signature pork buns.
I really enjoyed the pork buns and the Chow Mien Stir Fried. As for the dumplings, it was just so-so, given the price point. I suggest you take your money elsewhere if that’s what your looking for.

Must try (if you havent tried it yet)! Dimsum at its best :) especially if you love Chinese food. Price is just right. Love the buns, the siomai and the beancurd roll!!!
We ordered the pork buns, spareribs rice, hakaw and other dim sum. It was not the best pork buns nor the best dim sum I've had, but the food were affordable and the service was fast. The food was good, but not great. Deapite that, I am still excited to try their other menu items.
I already have a go-to area when I’m craving for dim sum. But if you’re living in the metro, you know that you can't always get through traffic. Thus, a plan B up to Z is a must. So one day, my family and I decided to eat at the mall instead and search for a nice place. After a few minutes of walking, my family and I found Tim Ho Wan.
What initially caught our attention was their beautiful and peaceful dining area. I’m quite familiar with Tim Ho Wan. It’s a Chinese dim sum restaurant chain that originated in Hong Kong; however, I was not aware they have a branch here. So we entered the restaurant, found a nice spot near the window and ordered the following: Spinach Dumpling, Beancurd, Congee, Jade Wanton Soup, and Pork Rib Rice.
Ooh it was heaven! All the dishes we ordered were delightful. I’m glad we parked in that building and saw Tim Ho Wan.
I have always wanted to try this resto, ever since I saw the good reviews. And one day, I did. Met with a college friend and suggested we try this. It did not disappoint. Their pork buns are just heavenly. And most of their dimsum selections are pretty good as well. One of my absolute fave is their vermicelli roll with shrimp. And the broth that they pour on the rice bowls, I dunno but it makes me really hungry just thinking about it.
#timhowan #thesoftestporkbuns #dimsumlove
Worth the expense for their entourage of tasty dimsum treats that come in small portions. My only concern is that you have to pay for your tea which is truly a turn-off. Excellent for break-time after lunch at around 4 pm.
Dimsum cravings for dinner tonight so decided on going to one of my favorite spots for it. You can never go wrong with the Dimsum here. It’s crafted with quality ingredients and flavorful. The Pork Buns being the star for me. It’s always satisfying eating here.
(to the tune of Sexbomb)
Pork buns, pork buns, Tim Ho Wan pork buns!
Your taste give me a reason to dance my ass off!
Pork buns, pork buns, Tim Ho Wan pork buns!
I love them; I can't get enough! Yeah!
Kinanta mo? :)
This internationally acclaimed Michelin star franchise remains to be one of the most promising brands to enter Philippines shores. Since arriving May of 2014, they now have close to 10 locations.
Recently, I was invited via a Looloo rendezvous to indulge in their newest line up of offerings dubbed as Chef’s Specials. It features 5 dishes inspired by different countries where Tim Ho Wan are currently present.
Amongst the list, the Crispy Golden Shrimp Balls were the most popular. It was gone in seconds after it landed in our ‘eating’ table. As you know there is always a separate area for photoshoot. These balls are wrapped wonderfully with wonton shreds and comes with delightful sweet chili sauce.
My personal favorite was the Deep Fried Salted Egg Fish Skin. Go ahead and dip a handful of unbelievably crisp seabass skins, loaded with salted egg powder in vinegar! Heaven on earth!
Fish Cake Laksa Noodle Soup, an Indonesian specialty now in Manila. It’s a bowl of strong flavors mixed with noodles and seafood- curry, coconut and other spices. If you’re the type that looks for heat when dining out, this one is for you!
Other notable pieces include Salt and Pepper Tofu in Chinese Vegetable, a fitting choice for vegetarians and the Traditional Steamed Pumpkin Cake, a filling dimsum that combines sweet and savory tastes.
These value for money Chef Specials won’t be around long. So if I were you, a visit soon must be planned.
This is my always go-to place whenever I crave for dumplings. Never did I have any complaints from my family and friends whom I recommend this restaurant as they've keep on asking me where can they eat good food. Oh come on, this is the only comfort food place I know if you are craving for dumplings, rice toppings.. I wanna go there now

I used to frequent Tim Ho Wan in SM Megamall when it was new here in the country. After quite some time, I was excited to try their food again, but this time in their SM North Edsa branch.
As for the food, it will always be 5/5. We super love their pork buns, dim sum, and rice toppings. Here’s the list of what we ordered for this visit (and most of which we highly recommend):
1. Baked buns with BBQ pork
2. Pork dumpling with shrimp
3. Prawn dumpling
4. Wasabi salad prawn dumpling
5. Beancurd skin with pork and shrimp
6. Rice with chicken, sausage, and mushroom
7. Glutinous rice with lotus leaf
As for store and ambience, I’d give it a 4/5 as it could use a bit more tidying up. Service is what they need to focus on. It’s a 3/5 for me.
That said, we will surely be back for more. :)
I got to try something different from their menu finally, their Fried Prawns with Minced Pork. I'm not sure if I got its name right, but essentially that's pretty much it. It was good. It's like a giant prawn nugget, really. I forewent ordering a plate of their pork buns for it, and it's fair decision I guess. The real reason of my visit however, is of course, my usual favorites Prawn Dumplings, Pork Dumplings with Prawn, and their Chicken, and Mushroom rice! 😋 It never disappoints.
I've been dining at Tim Ho Wan for some time now, What made the restaurant interesting to me was that It had a Michelin star. I was so confused about what that meant but I understood once I tasted those wonderful jaw dropping Pork Buns. The wasabi salad prawn dumpling is one of the greatest Fried dim sum I have ever tasted the wasabi wasn't spicy it was instead sweet complimenting the prawn dumpling beautifully. Another one is Spareribs rice it goes amazing with the sauce they pour on it when they serve it on your table and it doesn't end there even the chow mien stir fried noodles was delicious. This place definitely deserved the Michelin Star they were given
I’ve been at Tim Ho Wan so many times before on different branches even at Tim Ho Wan, Cebu and I think this will always be my go to resto. Cheap, simple and yet very fulfilling and satisfying food here.
Of course when you dine in here you can never forget their signature baked bbq pork buns! A must order at Tim Ho Wan. I also love the chow mien especially if you put chilli oil on it, yuuum!!!
Like I said, I’ve been at Tim Ho Wan many times before but I never get to try their spring rolls with egg whites but this time I decided to finally try it… a bit disappointed because it smells like fishballs which is weird and it tastes like there’s some seafood like shrimp on it and I’m not mistaken, there is a shrimp on it! I don’t think its a bad thing but it just doesn’t work well together with the egg whites (i guess?) but I don’t like it. I ordered it once and I will never order it again 😹. Well most of the food here are great though some of their rice toppings is not that good.
The hype for Tim Ho Wan’s Pork Bun is real! It’s super good from the bun itself to the pork inside. I am not exaggerating when I say it is the best pork bun I have ever tasted. We also tried their other dishes such as their dumplings and noodles
What I loved:
Prawn Dumpling (Hakaw) - the shrimp is so juicy!
Pork Rib with Black Bean Sauce - must try!
Beef Brisket and Tendon Noodles - I liked how the noodles were cooked and the soup is tasty.
What I didn’t like:
Beacurd Skin Roll w/ Pork and Shrimp
Dumpling with Spicy Sauce
The servers were attentive but they were not friendly. They don’t even say the name of the dish when they serve it to you which is a pet peeve for me. Oh well, I’d still go back for their food.
I went to Tim Ho Wan for an afternoon merienda and grab a 3 pcs Pork BBQ Bun paired with Congee with Lean Pork, Century Egg & Salted Egg.
🍲Baked Bun with BBQ Pork (3pcs) for Php145.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
🍲Congee with Lean Pork, Century Egg & Salted Egg for Php140.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
For me, it’s a perfect combination the sweetness of the Pork BBQ Bun complement with the thick and rich salted egg congee. And I must say that they served one the of the best bun in the country. For sure, I will be back.
#ilovetoeatph 😃❤️
My girlfriend can cook equally delicious lean pork with century egg and salted egg congee too. Just like Muy Kee in Kowloon. Using 5 ingredients for the congee plus the 3 mentioned above. For the same expense, I ate 5 times more each time, many times a month.
I have been a fan of this resto since I was in Singapore, but since I was leaving in Dubai for a couple of years now, I have been long time wanted to eat their very tasty congee and vermicelli rolls... Plus this time, i have tried the pork buns which is very delicious yet so sweet. Ambiance is nice... staffs are attentive although I can see that a great numbers of guest won't suffice the number of staffs.. food is great though the only menu that we order that i didn't like much is the bean curd pork and shrimp, It is more of vegetable inside than meat. Spareribs is nice but the rice isn't great as they will pour the sweet sauce on it. Overall, I will still recommend to friends and we'll keep coming back again for the congee, vermicelli rolls and pork buns.... 😉
I could say that their service is good and there food is superb !!
but the price is really expensive. Like you only get a few per order. :(
I may suggest Tim Ho Wan for snacks but not for lunch or dinner..
When a good friend of mine visited from another country and she really wanted to go to Causeway but she had some errands at SM North. We ended up at Tim Ho Wan.
We decided to order a couple of dishes and just share it. Good thing we did cause we both full by the end of the meal.
Since I was not able to order Pork Buns (Php 145) before, that’s the first items I ordered from the waiter. Hello pork buns, I missed you. It’s smaller now compared to when they first started. I still like how it tastes and how the soft the bun was when you bite through it.
Then we also ordered Beancurd Pork (Php 140), it’s her favorite and I usually forget to order this but good thing she did. The sauce was sweet and savory that worked perfectly with the beancurd.
Spinach Dumpling (Php 120) vegetarian version of hakaw. 😋 Make sure to dip in soy sauce.
Chicken, sausage and mushroom (Php 170) it’s worth the money. Perfectly portioned with the right amount of viand and rice. The best part no bones. I really hate biting tiny bones whenever I’m enjoying my meal. It just had some cartridge but that’s normal.
This is one of the restaurants that you can easily locate at the sm north as it is near to the entrance , that being said It still took me awhile to try it because I don't wanna wait in line . yes you read that right, line ! because It's always jam packed anytime of the day. but believe me it's worth it!
tried out their pork buns because they said it's the best seller . 🐷🐽 no regrets tho
We love their chicken, sausage and mushroom and pork buns. But the rest were just okay.
I liked this branch (SM North) than MOA.
SM North's staff are friendlier.
SM North's place is cozier.
SM North's chicken, sausage and mushroom's rice is stickier. (Slightly sticky rice is the best for this dish. Imagine eating this dish with a fluff rice, not satisfying at all 😑)
(Considering that we both dine at peak hours)
I know i should rant at the THW's MOA page but these are the reasons why you should choose SM North's branch 😊
I knew this restaurant because of my cousin. They told me about Tim Ho Wan because they serve good food (especially their Pork Buns).
We ordered their Pork Buns and Chow Mien Stir Fried Noodles.
I really liked their pork buns because the bread is kind of sweet but the Pork inside it tastes kind of salty but it's delicious.
Their Chow Mien tastes good also and if you order it it's good for 2-3 persons probably.
Their place is spacious and the service is fast.
Easily a favorite among SM North Edsa's restaurant offerings. It took me a while to try it because I was put off by the long lines outside the restaurant. However, it impressed upon me that there's something in this place that warranted those long lines. Their signature bbq pork bun is a regular order, and it certainly lived up to the hype. I used to share one order, but now we get one order per person. Another favorite is their stir fry noodles. The serving looks scant, but believe me, it's enough for two. Team Tikim

Update:
Went back here today. I liked their food before. We ordered a lot, but we were kind of disappointed.
We got:
1. Beef and egg rice- a bit overpriced for what you get, kind of like glorified beef chao fan from a certain fastfood place
2. Bean curd balls- soggy
3. Pork and shrimp dumpling- okay, a little pricey still
4. Stir fried noodles- flavorful, but tiny serving
5. Bean curd spring roll with shrimp- we actually liked this one, it was a last-minute order, my ran out of beef for his rice bowl
6. Buns- two orders, a lot of air, not quite as good as I remembered.
The buns never disappoint. I can eat two orders by myself. Their congee is also good. Service always prompt, not a long wait especially if you go at off-peak hours.
My family and I had our dinner here. I was so disappointed that we did not order any rice meal. But wait, good thing my brother had an experience to eat at TimHoWan. So we ordered pork bun. OMG! pork bun and pork bun and pork bun. Kidding, we didnt just ordered pork bun but a lot more it is just that PORK BUN is the only food that will make me go back to this resto 🐷🐷🐷
Perfect place for mirienda! But can also be for lunch or dinner but options are very limited as we Filipinos like our rice. I would definitely go back to try more of their food. I ordered spareribs rice, hakaw, spinach with shrimp dumplings while my parents ordered congee. Their service was good and I would say that their table is spacious compared to some other dimsum places found in malls.
Dumplings dumplings dumplings!! I'm in love with their dumplings! It is quite pricey but every cents is worth it! The first time that we tried here i thought their food is not delicious because the pictures in the menu is not attractive to me but when I tried their dumplings I realized first impression is not always right. Highly recommended!! ❤
Not a big fan of dimsum until I started eating at Tim Ho Wan in this branch. They serve a fresh batch of your orders every time. I can still see the steam of my plate almost all the time. That is really an important factor to many people like me. Plus have I mentioned that ALL of their staff are really nice? I have eaten at this branch way too many times and all of them are consistently friendly and quick on their feet. They also check if their customers are okay. I wish this branch would expand their space so that we can all sit comfortably though. It could get really crowded sometimes and the tables are too close to each other but nevertheless, great food, great vibes, great service. Excellent! Expand soon, please and I'll give you that 5.0! Haha.

This place is always jammed pack and it made me more curious to try out their food.
All the food we ordered were good but the best of them all were the prawn dumplings and the pork buns!
Sarap and affordable! Me and my bestfriend just found an authentic taiwanese restaurant we ordered two pork bowl dimsum and tofu and guess what our bill is only 500 pesos, like seriously? authentic doesnt cost like that, we must come back
The enormity of what we ordered in Tim Ho Wan speaks of either our hunger or how we love this resto (or both) !
I have no words for Tim Ho Wan, no wonder its HongKong main branch was awarded the Michelin Star. For one its buns are there to make your day-soft, buttery, savory, sweetish, you have nothing more to ask for. All dimsum orders are cooked just right. Tim Ho Wan is on a league of its own.
Food:
Prawn dumpling: masarap. Kahit may allergy ako sa shrimp ako halos yung nakaubos nung isang order. Juicy sya.
Bbq pork bun: manamis namis yung coating nung bun. Yung laman nya lasang asado ng siopao. At malambot sya. Nasarapan dito si boyfie pero ako hindi, kase hindi ko trip yung pagkamatamis nya parang hindi sila match nung asado.
Rice with beef and fried egg. Yung beef dun eh patty na sobrang lambot na bland ang lasa nakakaumay.
Yung stir fried noodles at spareribs rice tastes just like an ordinary dish. Nothing special with the taste.
Place: maaliwalas yung place at classy
Service: mabilis yung serving time at madaling tawagin yung attention ng mga waiter
I like that their servers here are quick, attentive and friendly. Food is consistently good! We always order pork buns, spare ribs rice and rice with chicken, mushroom and sausage.
I Liked the ambiance of this place, the staffs because their where so nice. thumbs up to that!! and the Foods they are so fantastic!! especially their bestseller foods 👏
I love their Pork Bbq bun & shrimp dumplings. Rice toppings could be good to share if you like to take a little of everything. Spareribs & minced pork with dried squids are best to try. Although serving takes a while but had to admit that it's all worth the wait.
Location is accessible. Place looks okay. Service is okay. Food is really yummy but not good enough to line up for a long time. Good thing the fad already tamed down. We ordered pretty much 4/5 of the menu. We loved everything we ate + we ordered more for take out.
Don't ever forget to try their pork buns! One of the best pork buns in town! At first bite it is really sweet but at the end you'll tast the kick of savory. I really love those pork buns! Especially their rice dishes, these are seasoned well. Tim Ho Wan is a must try because every dish on their menu is affordable and really delicious!
(Suggestion: Eat everything while it is still hot!!!!!)
Our food choices were somehow randomly chosen, we just pick whatever looks appetizing! (Because we're really starving during that time). So the following are our ordered food:
Spare Ribs Rice - lots of serving
Rice with Chicken, Sausage and Mushroom - i love the chicken and the special sauce
Prawn Dumplings - personal fave
Pork Dumplings
Pork Buns - must try!!
Jasmine Tea
I was really satisfied with the serving and taste of the foods we ordered. I already got full by just eating half of everything we ordered. I'll surely come back again for more prawn dumplings and pork buns!!
We decided to check out this branch as the restaurant is highly popular in Melbourne. Great food and good service. Highly recommend the baked pork buns which explains why it's their best seller, we even had some for take away. Price is reasonable but not much to choose on the menu as there are only a handful of dumplings and savoury dishes. Nice ambience for a catch up lunch with friends.
BEST PORK BUNS EVER. Will never get sick of their dimsum as well. Food is well worth the price!! Will definitely go back here again for the buns and the dimsum
I love this place! Yup, that's how im going to give my intro to this review. I actually fell in love with their baked buns. I'm 100% serious here that you gotta try. Sweet savory filled buns definitely tummy satisfying at the same time you'll get the feeling you wanted more of these and more choices on their menu. I also had their spareribs in special sauce, it was also a WOW.
Chowmien, vermicelli roll didn't disappoint as well, my hubby loved it.
But, what makes me fall in love with Tim ho wan aside from baked buns? Chili !!! Their chilic sauce cannot be compared to others. If they sell it ill have jars of it. Super it enhances any food on their menu!! I would like to try other dimsum soon.
I don't think the pork buns are gifts from God himself. They're the worst food I tried from there. I can't understand the hype. It's sweet and salty (heavy on the sweet) meat in a thin layer of sweet bread. My companion and I couldn't even finish the 3 pieces that we ordered. It's way too sweet.
On the other hand, I love their dimsum. They're perfect, and I can't say anything bad about them. I want to try them all, and perhaps I eventually will.
Although they have tasty food served hot. Their seats without back rest is a big discomfort when I ate there with my mom. Their spare ribs rice is quite fatty but it's ok I enjoyed their new Egg noodles and prawn dumplings.
Hands down to Tim Ho Wan. It has always been at the top of my list as one of the best restaurants I've been. My personal favorites are the Baked Bun, Congee and Streamed Spinach Dumpling with Shrimp. I can eat here every day. My first ever Tim Ho Wan experience in the Philippines is in their Megamall branch and I like the megamall branch better because of it's location (very accessible once you enter the mall) and the neighboring restaurants are also top of the line. I'm so glad to hear that Tim oH Wan is opening in Cebu soon. I will be one of the hundreds of people lining up on the opening day, for sure.
Tim Ho Wan..
i just love their "pork bun" sobrang sarap.. 5pts!!!
my mouths' watering everytime na ma iisip ko pa lang ito.
The pork was perfectly delicious and the bun it's freshly baked... fried whatever! basta masarap siya..
Added to this are their choices of yummy dim sum, dumplings and rice toppings that are really hit for my tummy... siempre masarap when you eat it together with hot tea.
Try ninyo.. bet you would love to come here over and over and over just like me. #Panalo
Did some stress eating here and it didn't fail me. We have ordered variety of dimsum and of course, we would not want to miss the ever famous pork buns. A bit pricey but it's worth the taste. Crew are not so attentive, they doesn't seem approachable, too, but over-all, it was a great eating experience. 👍🏻😊
Been wanting to try this out for a long time because of the famed pork bun. And oh boy, it did not disappoint! It is sooooo good and melts in my mouth! As for the other dishes, it was okay. The stir fry is kinda salty. The servers are also not that attentive. But overall, I would go back here for the pork buns!
They didn't earn the Michelin star for nothing. Waited for the fad to die down so we don't have to wait in line but if I were to wait in line, one bite of the pork buns is all you need to know it's worth it! The bread was baked to perfection with the right mix of sweet and salty. Of course once you get into the actual pork of the pork buns, your tongue and mouth are sent off to an entirely different dimension! Ugh perfect score for consistency in every bite and in every order and service is fast as well. Will never tire of coming back.

I actually expected a lot from this restaurant since Ive been hearing it a lot from my batch mates and a lot of people are always there so I thought there's something extraordinary about their food. It was allllll OKAY, for me. :)
What we love about this place is the price and quality of their food. Everything on their menu is delish! You'll be craving for more each bite. We never forget to order baked buns for take out! Customer service is ok attentive staff but can be a bit slow if the place is full. We haven't experience being on a waiting list as we always go here on a weekday late lunch. I also like how they pack their take outs! 😊
Affordable food. We didn't ordered rice but we are so full bcoz of the baked bun with bbq pork. I love the lightness of the spring roll with egg white. All the food is good. Must try.
Feeling low and was looking for some comfort food so i went with a friend to the mall and had an order of lola hits lugaw in pork with century eggs and an order of shrimp dumplings.
I like dumplings since I started to learn eating chinese foods. Haha especially those spinach dumpling with shrimp which is freshly served, anything that work with shrimp is my fave. You should try their jasmine tea after meal. 💙💚💛💜❤
Ate here for the second time and the foods are still 'the bomb' especially the Baked Bun! It is always worth the price and perfect for take home.
And the staffs are very attentive and accomodating.
The place is classy yet cozy at the same time and I like the interiors and designs.
Tim Ho Wan's pork buns are as every bit as delicious as you would expect a Michelin star restaurant would be. That being said, the rest of the menu could use the same mojo.
Still the same THW goodness that many of us love. Apart from the usual rice toppings and dimsum, we got to try some of their new items -- a fried veggie dumpling (I forget its name) and fried tofu cubes with pork floss. Both were good! I am amazed that this is one of the few restos with many branches that manages to maintain its quality and consistency across their branches.
We went here for Father's Day and I half-expected to wait for seats but fortunately we were seated immediately. Pork buns were great, as expected 😂 Enjoyed the noodles and the prawn dumplings were good as well. The vermicell roll w pig's liver was so-so, had more of a Chinese taste to it. My dad and sister had the spare ribs rice bowl and the chicken & sausage rice bowl which they said were just okay, nothing too special. Serving time was quite fast and pork buns are always served hot.
Tim Ho Wan is a must-try for people who loves dimsum. I can say that they offer one of the best dimsum menu in town. However, if you are craving for other Chinese food options, Tim Ho Wan can only provide limited choices of rice meals and desserts, and have no noodles nor entrees to offer. Nevertheless, their Baked Bun with BBQ Pork is really a must-try!
- HANNAH
A restaurant serving high quality dimsum at a cheap price. Their Pork Bun is to die for, ordering just one is not enough for me whenever I dine here. I always take home an extra order.

Another episode of "Let's Get Fat Together!" 🐭🐷 'Bæ'ked Pork Buns were amazing and did not disappoint us. #lorjanelamons
When I want congee I would drag my kids here who are more than happy to join me.
We always go for the same dishes: glutinous rice in lotus leaf and vermicelli roll with shrimps for son, congee and spicy dumplings for me and chicken, sausage and mushroom for daughter. For sharing, we always order the HK noodles, radish cakes or another dimsum. We don't order the pork buns like most people do as we were over it from trips in HK.
Always a good meal here. No complaints.
I have heard many praises about this restaurant for a long time now. Gladly, my friends and I headed here for dinner to catch up and chill after having our stressful last set of exams.
We picked four savory food and one dessert as a means to satisfy our hungry stomachs. These were Prawn Dumpling, Vermicelli Roll with Barbecue Pork, Spring Roll with Egg White, Baked Bun with BBQ Pork, and Tonic Medlar & Osmanthus Cake. Of course, we wouldn't miss eating their famous Baked Pork Buns. I was just as curious as them to know the reason of the popularity of these buns. I absolutely think the soft and smooth bread and rich pork filling answered our question right on the spot. As for the other orders, they were all delicious especially together with the mixture of chili and soy sauce.
On the other hand, I was not much captivated by our dessert. It somehow tasted good, but given the chance, I would order the Mango Pomelo Sago instead. Although, the chance to taste a unique dessert like the Tonic Medlar & Osmanthus Cake is a great experience.
For their service, I would happily give four stars. I liked how friendly their staffs were, one of them even asked us if we'd like a group picture to be taken by him. We eventually said yes then he captured lots of our genuine smiles as proofs of how this place left a good first impression on us.
