A great place to date and talk to a special someone!
This restaurant serves great food along with their polite staff. The ambiance is quiet and clean. The price is a bit expensive but it's worth it, especially if you love Spanish cuisine. Their desserts are so-so, but their pasta and Paellas are to die for, you won't even have space for dessert!
Definitely a must-try!
I ordered their three of their bestsellers:
Lechon Carbonara - Topped with raw egg yolk with lechon bits tossed on the side. The carbonara is pretty tasty by itself and honestly, the addition of lechon makes it less appealing to eat. I think it is a weird combination. Nonetheless it was a good dish.
The Burgerizzo - This one is a hefty burger. The beef was flavorful and you can actually taste the chorizo. It was served with a fries. I have to had it taken out because there's no way I can finish it all.
Chouxros - Comes with chocolate and dulce de leche dip. Those were pretty good to dip the churros with. The churros itself is a bit oily but was really good.
However, all of the food served were not hot! As for the ambience, it was a bit dim to my liking but I think that makes it good for a romantic dining. Overall it was a good dining experience.
Food was good, ambience is perfect. Good place to have dinner and hangout. Place could be loud sometimes as it becomes an inuman place. Wines were okay too, also the one of the reason my friends wants to visit the place again.
the real reason why i dined here is because i need a decent wifi and as i check, cafe enye has a it. booked a table via eatigo. it was 6pm when i arrived and there was only 1 occupied table so i didn't had a hard time getting a seat. ordered lechon lasagna which is delicious but i wasn't able to finish because I'm already full plus I really can't eat huge amount of pork. i also had churros and i loved it! best churros i've tasted in my entire life!
i have to commend the service on this cafe as the staffs who assisted me are really nice and fast. i will definitely go back here again.
PS. as for the wifi, it was stable the whole time i was using it 👌
Our company had an impromptu eat out at Cafe Enye at 7AM and we couldn’t be more thankful that they accommodated us despite the lack of notice in a morning). We’re all very satisfied with the food, the courteous staff, and great service. I specifically loved their house cured wagyu beef tapa and churros! Can’t wait to go back!!
This restaurant is located in a highly densed and well known locality. It serves mostly Spanish cuisine and is known for the specialty cuisine. We did have a management dinner here and food seemed to have matched to our expectations. Ambience has been pleasant and seating was comfortably arranged for 16 people. Service personnel were real fast in taking the orders and getting them accomplished in minimal time.
Canitas Cubano is my favorite item on the menu. The perfectly toasted bread that's thick enough, the dressing that is just enough to tie everything together without soaking everything up, and the tender and juicy beef cooked medium rare to medium well...oooh perfection! It's even better than other restaurants that offer angus beef or so they say.
The most tender and unpretentious restaurant tapa I've had by far is cafe enye's tapa plate.
Will update this review soon.
(4.5/5)
I'm glad I'm introduced go this place early on! It's the real deal!
Granted the food is pricey, (and for some of my colleagues the food took such a long time, maybe avoid the Daing Na Bangus), but it was foodgasm, the moment I bit into my Lechon Lasagna. I love how even though the flavor was really strong, there was barely any suya factor for me. You'll wolf down the whole thing! Not to mention the ambiance was really homey and antique meets modern.
Definitey will come back again!!
01.24.2018
So for my girlfriend and I’s first monthsary for the year of 2018, I decided to bring her to this fairly new restaurant at Eastwood. I’ve been seeing it here on Zomato for quite a while then and it’s been having good ratings and reviews. I also checked out the pictures of the place and it wasn’t bad at all!
PARKING
This restaurant is located under a condominium in the vicinity of Eastwood. So if ever you’re planning to dine here, you can just opt to park in the mall and walk your way. You’ll just cross, no problem there.
AMBIANCE (5/5)
We absolutely loved the place! From the outside, you wouldn’t expect it to be that homey and even romantic! It was very relaxing especially with their yellow lights. Their furnitures were comfortable and the mixture of the colors of the area was just perfect. Tables were well spaced from each other and the atmosphere and temperature was just right. It wasn’t noisy as well! By then again there weren’t a lot of customers when we dined here. Everyone looked decent and relaxed. Place wise, I made no mistake choosing this one. Haha!
SERVICE (5/5)
The waiter who served us was very friendly! He answered all our questions, gave us suggestions and recommendations, and entertained all our queries and orders throughout the night. Willingly took a photo of me and my girlfriend and was very polite.
FOOD (4/5)
The menu posted here is outdated. They have a more comprehensive menu in the restaurant since you wouldn’t find our orders in the menu that Zomato has provided. You can check out their page at Facebook for the more updated one. Me girlfriend and I ordered just 2 dishes. The first one we shared was the Calamares Salad (P250) and the the next was the Paella Negra (P450). To be honest, being a meat kind of guy, I wasn’t really expecting much from the salad but rather, I was looking forward to the Paella to satisfy my hunger. But to my surprise, it was the salad that actually got me going. Their serving for the salad was big! Not because the plate was big but the contents were filled! That plate could be consumed by 2-3 people. It tasted good too! Fresh vegetables and crunchy calamares mixed with their sauce was what I felt in my taste glands. Hahaha! The paella on the other hand was just so and so. The serving wasn’t as big as well. I think 1 person can devour it especially if he/she was hungry. But since we share our meals, the paella was just enough. It tasted great though! But it was only at par with the other restaurants. We also go ourselves a glass of red whine (P190) for me and white wine for her (P190) just to go with our celebration of the night. Serving time for the food was on time and I’d say the value for money way alright.
THE VERDICT (4.5/5)
I’d have to say I was more than pleased with everything that we experienced today. The setting was perfect, the food awesome, and the night was cooperating with it all. I’d recommend this restaurant for dates with your special someone or Tita night outs! I heard they have amazing churros but unfortunately we were too full to have dessert. Will come back for more! Hope you guys will like it here too! Cheers! :)
Very good food and wine. The price is right though I hope for more wine choices in the future. Customer service was also one of the best I have ever encountered in Manila.
The menu said that they have the best carbonara in town and it was SOLID!!!
I prefer oil based pasta to cream based but this one brings home the bacon, or the lechon in this case.
I love how the egg yolk adds more flavor to the pasta.
And there’s no umay factor that you normally taste on cream based pasta.
Will definitely come back for this one and try their other specialties too.
Our favorite eatigo place ever since we discovered eatigo.
Our favorites include:
Spanish breakfast platter good for sharing, loved their spiced and smokey beans, chorizo, and they got my egg made just right.
Liempo carbonara with their extra crunchy almost chicharon like crispness and a runny yolk. So rich and lovely.
Their light chicken croquetas for appetizer with the chimichuri sauce, a go to for us. It's creamy and light with a beschamel filling and chunks of chicken with a perfectly coated breading. Just wished they served more pickled stuff with it. Like gherkins maybe.
We've tried the pasta Negra but found it a little too oily and with the squid overdone and rubbery.
Their churros could use a longer time to drip after frying while the dulce de leche and chocolate dips were just acceptable.
Laslty, their callos. It had the right amount of acidity to counter the richness from the tripe, pork fat, tendons, and other mystery parts given the amount of tomatoes, spices, and olives. It's comes with a long grain rice too which was similar to a garlicky basmati.
Must warn you that after eating this dish, I did get a little headache. It's a cholesterol and uric acid galore.
Don't try the callos buns, they're nothing like the actual callos.
Will try the other items on the menu next visit. Our goal is to try everything on the menu.
Please don't close down anytime soon. You're part of our late night/early morning run.
😍👌
liked the interior set-up of the resto. staff were accommodating. servings were good for sharing and tasted good but if paella were more it would have been perfect. 🤗 surprisingly the lechon carbonara was great and the lechon servings were generous. also enjoyed their version of sisig with olives. my niece enjoyed their crispy pork belly. we did not have time for desserts but at least there is a
reason to go back. 😍
My favorite restaurant in Eastwood!!! Cozy ambience, delicious food, and very friendly and accommodating staff. I always order the pollos croquettas for my appetizer but everything else is also highly recommended! Trust me, my friends and I have gone through their entire menu. It's such a wonderful, homey place and, as a bonus, the coffee ain't bad, either. 100 STARS!
I rarely write reviews, especially for restaurants. But this place had to be reviewed! The food is as superb as can be, but what really adds to the icing of the cake is the awesome service! It’s absolutely phenomenal! They really take immense pride in their food. I so love the Paella Negra, Basque Mahi Mahi, and Pollos Croquettas! I will definitely come back and recommend to my family and friends! And lastly and one of the biggest plus factor of the restaurant is the interior! I felt like I was not in the Philippines for a moment. Good Job Cafe Enye!
Their food is okay. A little pricey for its taste but okay. I had pasta negra, and grabbed a taste from my friends' order.
The ambiance is cozy and warm.
The staff are attentive to the customers' needs.
The restroom is clean.
Really cool place with nice interiors. The food tastes good and serving sizes are reasonable considering the price. Will definitely be back to try the carbonara since I was not able to order it.
This hidden gem in Libis is a must-visit for coffee lovers and people fond of Spanish cuisine. It naturally exudes a classy hipster vibe with its soft lighting, simplistic interiors with furniture accents (such as their big blue sofas, ñ from cups on the wall & a bike hanged on the wall). The food itself makes the visit here worth it. Their Lechon Carbonara & Callos were both tasteful, flavors happily lingered in my mouth. Wifi here is not that bad too with a few plugs if you need a bit of charging. The staff are also friendly & accommodating & the place wasn't so busy most hours of the day.

Ordered:
The Burgerrizzo
Lechon Carbonara
Pollo Croquettas
First time to dine with this resto and didn't fail...price is good considering you're paying for good taste and good restaurant evironment. I was amazed with what we ordered..lechon carbonara was simply amazing..sauce is rich but not heavy...crispness of pork is also amazing...the burgerizzo was also amazing...beef patty was juicy and good flavoring..its nothing else in term of burger flavor that i tried with other burger restos or burger chains...pollo croquettas is a must too its like deep fried chicken nuggets though youll find it different when you tasted it..sauce is also a win win..rich and herbal...overall i will make sure that ill visit this place the 2nd time :)
Service was great and food was good. We tried their famous Lechon Carbonara but I think I expected too much from it. It taste good but it was plain carbonara with crispy pork toppings. We also ordered cocktails and we were lucky to catch their happy hour discount! (P100 /glass)

Went here twice already, I always seem to like the food, but not the drinks. They have one of the best carbonaras I've ever tried. You get a generous helping of lechon on the side. To be honest, you could even order a side of rice to go with it (if you really want to indulge). The pork dish I tried (forgot the name) could use a bit more seasoning. I did really like the roasted vegetable side. Cafe Enye is now on Eatigo too! :)
Tried the Bacalao Puttanesca and loved it -- very close to the puttanesca that I cook at home, plus the addition of cubed salted cod. The iced coffee was served unsweetened, which was perfect as I drink my coffee black -- but syrup is provided should you wish to sweeten your drink. Will come back to try the other dishes in the menu.
Lechon Carbonara tastes great. I also love the Chili chocolate cake. This is where you go if you want comfort food. Good customer service too.
Definitely a comfort food where you can chill with your friends and family. Or even a romantic date! The ambience is really good, from interior design to the lighting. They serve delicious food since they have their own unique flavor.
I love Cafe's like this. So quaint. An Instagramable place haha
I ordered the Burgerizzo while my cousin, tito and tita ordered Chouxros with Dulce de leche cream and Aglio Olio with Chorizo.
Burgerizzo - very juicy, just right for one person to eat.For our drinks, we had Iced Latte, Iced Mocha and House Blend Iced Tea.You have to blow bubbles with the straw to mix the sugar that settled at the bottom of the glass. Just the right amount of sweetness and it was served in a tall glass.
Servings were big and very well plated. The waiters were very attentive and the serving time was fast.
Will come back again
We had the Pollo Croquettes, Cochinillo, and Curry Paella. We were supposed to get Paella Negra, but sadly, it was not available.
The pollo croquettes were filled with chicken bits, but it lacked bechamel sauce. It was way too solid for me, leaving with me my craving for something creamy.
The cochinillo was well-seasoned and cooked. The parts which were supposed to be crunchy were crunchy. The other meat parts weren’t dry as well. It came with rice and camote chips which were good compliments. I liked the liver dip the most, among the three that came with it—chimichurri and something I forgot already.
The paella was a bit disappointing to me in terms of taste, but my best friend likes it. The chicken in it was well cooked with the right moisture. Paella was also cooked perfectly. I just really didn’t enjoy the taste, even though I normally like curry. I guess I don’t like my curry with bell peppers.
Love the food and the place! Will definitely come back soon! Eyeing the function room for my son's birthday? Just not sure how many pax required to reserve the place...
We had breakfast at Cafe Enye, they open as early as 7:00 am so thats good for the call center people. All positive reviews for the food that we ordered. I had the Beef Tapa breakfast which i give 5stars.
Can improve on Serving size for both food and drinks
A not-so-hidden gem! Located in Eastwood just in-front of J.Co is this very sultry and sexy looking restaurant which makes us thinking what in the world are they serving?Cafe Enye specializes on Spanish cuisine with a touch of magic on their end as every dish looks magical and delicious. I can't believe that this restaurant opened 2 years ago (2015) hell I never had a chance to give it a try. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!

(F)ood:
The food here is very well plated and looks yummy even when just reading it off of the menu. We tried their chicharrones salad, the chicken mojo skewers and the enye cocido. The servings are just right for two to three people. Everything is very instagrammable!
(A)mbience:
This is what is the major plus for this place! It’s cozy and the interiors are just perfect! The function room is very instagrammable (did I just say that again?? Haha) and the cups forming the letter ñ is what you should take a photograph of. The place is good for a chit-chat with your friend or barkada or family dinner.
(B)utler Service:
The servers were nice, friendly and veryy attentive to our needs.
Came here for our office christmas party.
Order their paella and squid ink pasta! Not a fan of those but I surprisingly loved it. Will visit again 👍

I've been here a number of times already. The food is super affordable. With the setting and service, you can't find a similar place in BGC (where I'm usually at) that offers the same food and price points that Enye does. The best Spanish food comes from my Lola's kitchen. But this is a good try, not really authentic but good enough for a craving and your wallet too.
The place is very cozy and the service was great. This is good for meetings, drinks or date with loved ones because of the interior and their food is great so super sulit ang stay.
Love this place! Away from the hustle and bustle of Eastwood Citywalk, this place is quiet and an ambience i enjoy. If you enjoy the noise and music beating your ears, then this place is not for you. Chilled beers, nice cocktails and good food! I really enjoy the Pollo croquettas and the Chicken Mojo Skewers.
Not your ordinary Spanish/ Filipino restaurant. This restaurant serves Spanish Colonial food.
Notable stuff: They have the MOST DELICIOUS CARBONARA DISH I’ve ever tasted. They serve it with lechon! Other must-try dishes include their Enye Callos Buns and Paella Negra.
Everything I’ve tried on their menu hasn’t let me down! Too good!!
Restaurant + Cafe + Bar = CAFE ENYE
Located just a few steps away from my office in Eastwood City, Cafe Enye is definitely a go-to place whenever I want to satisfy my food cravings. This Filipino-Spanish inspired restaurant has a lot to offer from their menu, on top of its IG-worthy interior design.
My personal favorites:
- Lechon Carbonara
- Paella Negra
- Basque Rock Fish Fillet
- Chouxros with Dulce de Leche Cream
- Creme Catalan

Friendly staff, very accommodating 👍
Very nice ambience, really good for a romantic date (i think hehe) 💕
Food is great, there are a lot of options👌
It's a little bit pricey for us in the middle-class haha ✌
I love going on food trips, and I especially love it when the chow place I try earns a check mark in all the right areas. That’s what Café Enye got from me when I tried it out several days back. Café Enye is a restaurant in Eastwood City that serves Colonial Spanish cuisine. Actually, it’s sort of like a fusion restaurant serving a wonderful mixture of Moroccan, Spanish, and Argentinian dishes. They’re open from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., so it’s the perfect place to go to when you want filling breakfast, a hearty brunch, or simply just to chill out with your friends (they have happy hour!).
Lovely place for brunch and get-togethers! Ambience is warm and cozy. You get great value for your money. The brain behind the Lechon Carbonara is a genius!
It was my first time to try Cafe Enye, and let me tell you how surprisingly good the experience was. We ordered Lechon Carbonara, Calamari Salad and Callos Bun, each of which were devoured in a few sec. Crispy lechon kawali was topped on the creamiest carbonara I have tried, deliciously battered crispy calamari on a citrusy salad, and callos inside a sweet bun, a taste of heaven on earth. A must try, indeed.
This place is a hidden gem. The place was not crowded because it's easy to miss outside Eastwood Mall. We had the paella, lechon sisig sandwich and the shrimp sandwich. We didn't get to get any cake at the time as we were really full.
Great place for catching up or working.
Nice ambiance but the outside tables wasn't well ventilated. We ordered the following
Chicken MoJo Skewers (Php330)
Pancheta de Cardo (Php350) - the skin was tough and was a bit hard to chew
Pollo Croquettes (Php175)
Ever happen to you that you crave for breakfast in the evening? Cafe Enye in Libis saves us from this foodie problem. Got their Tapa Angus beef silog and Bangus silog. Serving is good. I also love their cozy and classy food. You should try the sinangag labelled as enye rice. SULIT!!
I tried 2 of their breakfast meals and I'm still craving for it. The food is of value, the ambience is great, love the chairs, and very accommodating servers :)
I've been here twice and it's not a place that I would frequently go to. They specialize in Spanish cuisine with a little bit of Italian dishes. The Food is okay, a little bit overrated on my opinion.
Been back 3 times. The ambience is perfect for chilling out with family or friends. My 8 yr.-old and hubby liked the wagyu steak (around P500 only). The cochinillo would have been a better experience if I had them serve it whole/ unchopped. But it's tender nonetheless. I liked the callos from my first visit. The pasta negra lacked a bit of taste and the pasta ratio to the toppings was overwhelming. The churros was really good. I liked it better than Dulcinea's or La Lola's. Will always come back for the cocktails and to try their other dishes. It's a bang-for-your-buck alternative when you have friends in town and you're suggesting the place to dine in.

The servings look small, but it's actually very heavy on the tummy. It's a nice kind of garlicky. Good for breakfast! Yum yum yum yum yum yum
This resto was a gastronomic surprise. Went here due to its novelty, but ended up gushing on how well curated the dishes were. The paella was firm and flavorful and the gambas was really garlicky, with a sweetish tangy taste. We also had the salad which I must say was sulit. Lastly, we had the dulce de leche which was milky and crumbly. Will be back!! :-)
Cafe Enye is a Filipino-Spanish inspired restaurants with a twist!
The restaurant has a charming feel to it. The place seems to be nostalgic, probably because of how the lighting is in the restaurant. It's kind of dark inside and the restaurant uses yellow lights, maybe a good place for a date as it may also have a romantic feel to it.
We ordered the burger and lechon carbonara. The burger was nothing mind-blowing. Just another regular burger you can get anywhere. Although the lechon carbonara was really really good! One of the best carbonara's I've tried! Their items aren't as expensive as you would think. Definitely a good value for your money!
Follow me on Instagram to see more photos/insights on this place @cornerandabove!
The food was great especially the tapa, best i ever had. Pricey but worth your money and the place is cozy and instagrammable🤞🏻.🍳☺️😃🤣🍴♥️😁
I want to start of by saying that the place is cozy. I had a lechon carbonara and it was good. I am quick to judge if I like the place if they pass my carbonara taste and they did. I had some appetizers as well and that is good as well.
It is always an addition for me if the stuff is friendly and they are.
It is a good place to hang out.
This is one of the reviews that got stuck in my to-do-list. The visit was ages ago, the delay is not due to my procrastination but my stubbornness to write anything without remembering one detail. Here goes…when we received the invite from the wonderful people of The Foodie Station, I thought that Café Enye is a Korean Restaurant. I know, my assumption doesn’t make sense and downright silly. From some reason I associated Café Enye with Korean food and for x number of months, ive been in a constant battle with my own brain. I finally figured out the reason – another joint bears the word Café in their name and this restaurant happens to be associated with Korea.
Anyway, digression stops here.
Unlike my silly notion, Café Enye specializes in Spanish Cuisine. Without knowing any details of what they offer, one would have an educated guess by scrutinizing the interior. The mural is the first thing that you will see and some photos adorning the wall. It sort of reminds me of a modernized ancestral house.
Grub.
Note: I will only review the dishes that I remember
Lechon Carbonara. This doesn’t sound too Spanish eh? I don’t care as I really like the dish. The crispy lechon chunks made me see carbonara in a different light. It brings an interesting contrast with the sauce.
Basque Rock Fish Fillet. This one of the dishes that stood out. The fish was cooked in such a way that the natural and clean flavor is eminent. The dish is very light and delicious.
Paelle Negra. I am no paella expert and I don’t have the faintest idea on how it should taste like. I am happy to report that Enye’s Paelle Negra passed with flying colors. The flavor is on point and can I just say that it is the prettiest plate in the spread.
Callos Buns. This Enye’s answer to Tim Ho Wan’s famous buns. The only difference is that they used callos as the filing. I like the fact that dem buns are cooked in such a way that is not too oily. The bun has a crispy exterior while the inside is fluffy and cloud-like.
Pollo Croquettas. Chicken x béchamel wrapped then deep fried. Sounds sinful eh? Yes it is! The marriage of fowl x béchamel is a match made in heaven. Once you sink your teeth into it, you will feel the creamy texture.
Carrot Cake. This is the best guilt-free dessert. The cake is so moist and goes well with ze cream cheese topping. I like the fact that they added some candied orange peels to add a lil tang.
Dinner at Enye is truly satisfying. The food they serve stands out because of the excellent flavors and the innovation involved in making them.
Peace Out!
Reich
The place was a bit isolated from the hustle and bustle of Eastwood but the place was great.
We tried out some of their best sellers and it as worth it. Also, it's not very pricey.
Must try:

Cafe Enye is a Spanish restaurant located at the ground floor of the Excelsior building in Eastwood City, Libis, QC. I was here to just catch up with some foodie friends, but got insta-invited to a foodie meet-up. I guess I was at the right place at the right time.
Paella Brunch Plate with House Cured Wagyu Beef Tapa - Not too fond of this dish. There is disproportionately more rice than there is protein. The pickled vegetables were excellent though.
Callos Buns - The callos filling tasted authentic and delicious, and the bun itself was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.
Pollo Croquetas - This would make an excellent appetizer. Very fluffy and perfectly seasoned.
Pinchitos Pescado - If I were to rate this restaurant on this dish alone, I would have given it 5 stars. Which says a lot coming from a meat-loving foodie who is not too fond of fish. The was perfectly cooked and seasoned as well.
Chorizo de Abuela - A decent dish but I would have been more enjoyable if it were sliced instead of minced too finely.
Basque Rock Fish Fillet - Seafood seems to be this restaurant's strongest suit. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the broth was light yet flavorful.
Lechon Carbonara - I would have loved this dish, but I think it sat on the counter a bit longer than usual which is why it was dry. I bet if it had a little more sauce and it were served right away, it would be a standout dish.
Paella Negra - The rice might have been overcooked, and it could have used a little more seasoning.
Overall, I think Cafe Enye has potential and deserves a few more visits. I am bookmarking this restaurant so I could come back and try its Wagyu Steak with Sofrito Butter.
I have dined at Cafe Enye for two times already and I have mixed emotions for this restaurant. I loved every bit of its concept and design but the food becomes too overwhelming for me after some time. I was able to sample their famous Lechon Carbonara during my first visit and boy was it good. The carbonara was very flavorful and the lechon very juicy. However, since both are very tasty, it gets overwhelming after some time. I suggest that if you'll get this dish, you share it with someone else to balance things out. Other dishes that I can recommend are Paella Negra and Calamari Salad. Both were very tasty. Oh, and you might want to go here during their happy hour from 5 to 8 pm if I still remember correctly. They have promo on drinks!
I rated this place with full colors for the reason that I have been constantly ignoring the cafe since its located on the "sad side" of eastwood and when I said sad side I mean even a bank branch gave it up. But boy was I wrong, as I was immediately blown away the moment I opened those red doors. It feels like coming home! I should have tried it here he first day they opened as I literally live just upstairs! With the food that speaks for itself and excellent staff, i think I just turned to a fan!
My friend celebrated her birthday here and we all loved the place, the food, the drinks and the staff. The place is definitely instagram worthy, the food and drinks are great!!! They also have very warm and friendly staff. Will surely go back to this beautiful place and will definitely include it in my "favorite" list 😍
Surprisingly their food is goood! I ordered their Callos and garlic muscles and clams, sopa de Ajo and they are gooooo!👌👍
For sure their other menu is worth trying.
The price is very reasonable to the serving
portion.
The ambiance is very cozy and artsy.
Their kitchen is open, very clean and very professional with hi end equipment.
I'll definitely go back!
Had dinner last night with friends... it's been my 4th time to eat here and i'm quite familiar with the food... but most of my favorites weren't available last night so we were forced to order something else which was a blessing in disguise...
Food - 4.5/5
The only reason this isn't perfect because i missed my usual orders (Pollo Croquetas, Callos Buns and Steak Sofrito). Now what did we get? We got the Bacalao Mantecato, Patatas Bravos and Huevos Rellenos/Chorizo Scotch Eggs for appetizers. All three were excellent! We had the Callos Ala Casa, Lechon Carbonara, Aglio Olio Chorizo and Paella Cochinillo as our mains. The Callos was divine and the Paella was flavorful... bawat butil ng kanin was loaded with flavor and the cochinillo slices (4 individually sized slices) though were super bitin but was oh so masarap... i got the cucumber calamansi cooler which was very very refreshing and they got a slice of a decadent chocolate cake which was very rich and satisfying.
Service - 4.5/5
Service was excellent. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable of the food.
Ambience - 4.5/5
Very cool interiors. The decor was a bit eclectic but still homey.
Over-all - 4.5/5
If you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of Eastwood then head on out to the sides and look for Cafe Enye. Superb Spanish food with a stellar ambience.

First off, let me apologize again for the quality of the photos. It's not on par with my previous work, and that is because my DSLR has been broken for quite some time now. . Trust me, the food tastes so much better than it looks in these pictures!. It was genuinely heartbreaking for me when a few months back, I was unable to visit the launch of Cafe Enye- A restaurant that specializes in Spanish Cuisine. What Cafe Enye did was take traditional Spanish favorites, and give it a modern day twist that would be more appealing to the Millennials of this generation.
Good service 😄😄😄
Coffee and meal is a bit pricey but reasonable
Coffee is inconsistent though. There are days that it is bitter and days that are not
Pasta is my fave aglio olio :)
Try their Callos which is good for 2
Another one is the chicken and pork viand. It is too much for 2 folks but kinda bland for me. Good twist on the meal though
Overall a good place to hang out and chill
If you know your kitchen history, perhaps you could go beyond that and scrutinize our country's spice trade. Not all foodies could handle that. Nah! Not even me! But one thing is worth digging into is how our country managed to establish our own distinctive flavors. Undeniably, we took ours from Spanish influences and some from the Chinese and eventually from other nations who took us into.
Before I can finally bid goodbye to Eastwood, I was planning on trying some dishes from Cafe Enye. Then I received an invite to try having brunch at Cafe Enye!. Say hello, Cafe Enye!. The interiors are relaxing and Instagram worthy. I love the cups that are shaped to Ñ. Even their comfort room interiors are pleasing to the eyes.

Cafe Enye started last January 2016 in Eastwood. The primary offerings are Spanish food but new flavors from Ameica but uses food Filipino ingredients as per the Head Chef RJ Ungco. They have serveral tecgniques with the flavors where they mixed it from sweet to salty. Also, influences is Spanish and recipes from or grandmothers which they change some of the components. They offers homemade corned beef and chorizo.
I was served with Calamansi-Cucumber P90, a blended drink with fresh cucumber and calamansi. While my companion had the Strawberry one. I loved my drink, it was refreshing, healthy and not too sweet. This is actually their bestseller.
We are then served with the Brunch that are available from 7am-11am only.
POLO CROQUETTAS P175
Cripsy marinated chicken Bechamel Croquettas served with salsa verde and homemade pickles. I loved this! I thought that it was made from potato. Once you bite into it, it was indeed a revelation! It was really delicious together with the dip.
SPANISH BREAKFAST PLATE P250
Spanish style toast, crispy bacon strips, Spanish chorizo, homemade baked beans and grilled tomato. The chorizo was really good plus it was homemade.
PAELLA BRUNCH PLATE - Homemade Corned Beef P215
Includes with choice of egg (scrambled, poached, sunny-side-up, hardboiled or red egg) Enye rice topped with pickled vegetable, salsa, and crispy fried anchovies served in Paellera. The corned beef too here was homemade and it was very tasty, this was my favorite aside from the croquettas.
PLATAIN AND CHORIZO TORTILLAS P250
3 egg open-faced potato and egg omelet with cubed plantains and chorizo topped with honey yogurt and served with toast. A little unusual is that the taste was salty and sweet. The yogurt's sweetness contrast the egg omelet. My companion really liked it, though I think it was not really for me.
CHOUXROS WITH DULCE DE LECHE CREAM P170
Homamade light (Pate a Choux pastry) churros with dulce de leche red egg and tsokolate peanut butter dips. It was fried to perfection and really want to indulge it right away when they served it hot. I want it more on the dulce de leche egg dip because I think it is so much sweeter with chocolate.
Because I am not a big breakfast person, the servings are quite much for one person. You can share it with someone and the price is reasonable. I really love my breakfast with eggs, bread or rice. It was a great day with a few laughs with my friend blogger, we definitely enjoyed our short brunch here at Cafe Enye. I am still curious about their Lechon Carbonora though. So there is something to look forward to when I visit Eastwood again.
I had been craving pasta Carbonara since Wednesday. This morning I satisfied this craving with Cafe Enye's Lechon Carbonara, which is probably the deadliest version of this dish. I liked it because they add an egg yolk instead of an overdose of all-purpose cream. Further, the lechon is not as fatty as I feared it would be because they used chicharones. The Pollo Croquettas are cooked right-- a good combination of chicken and potato which is surprisingly light. The ambience is Kinfolk-perfect -- relaxing yet artsy. Oh, I also liked the t-shirts on sale for charity; I got one for my daughter :)
Late review. Tucked in meticulously right in front of Eastwood Mall, Cafe Enye serves up to savory and soulful food. A mix of Spanish and Filipino flavors, you can never go wrong!
Start your meals with Pollo Croquetas. A plateful of potato croquettes with chicken--crisp on the outside, and super creamy and rich on the inside.
Their breakfast longanisa was just okay. Nothing really too special, but it was good. Savory-sweet with a serving of rice and egg.
Their Ham and Egg Breakfast Tortilla is outstanding! Get ready to dig deep into soft scrambled eggs, with ham and goey cheese. It's served with bread to help fill you up(but it's really a lot on it's own).
Churros that they had have two dips--chocolate or dulce de leche. Not really a fan of their dulce de leche because it was overwhipped and cream was clotted. The chocolate had a bit of a nutty flavor, reminded me of chocnut and was really spectacular!
The beasties and I just got back from Fullybooked Bonifacio Global City for our yearly tradition and bonding for Free Comic Book Day #FCBD2016. Since it is simpler to have our Brunch on the way home we decided to have it at our favorite stop over Eastwood. As per usual, we wanted to eat somewhere new, I spotted Café Ñ (Enye) a few days ago while walking about Eastwood and decided to try it out.
Hello Sweeties!
Café Enye (Ñ) is totted as a Spanish Filipino restaurant at serves classic Spanish dishes with a twist. It is really very inconspicuous, located on the side where BPI bank is. If you don't look close enough, you can mistake it for a small coffee shop, but in reality it is very spacious.
One of the newest restos in Eastwood. Tried it a couple of weeks ago for my cheat day and had their lechon carbonara. Because lechon + creamy pasta is the best cheat meal ever. Generous amount of serving too. Plus their Croquetas is also a must try.
A foodie friend tagged me along when she decided to eat at Cafe Enye. The place is just a few meters away from where I work so might as well give it a try. Lol.
We ordered 2 things: Pollo Croquettas and Chouxros with dulce de leche creme. I think these two are the cheapest from the menu. But dont underestimate it. Croquettas was served with a pale green sauce at the bottom. Make sure to scoop it all up to make the croquette more delightful, burst in your mouth taste.
Chouxros tasted better than any other churros in the market. With sprinkled sugar on top, dulce de leche creme and chocolate dip on the side. You'll never go wrong with this.
The place is spacious enough to accomodate large groups. The interior was astonishing. Place is perfect even if you're dining alone. A little pricey for all the other food items but I know you'll get your money's worth.
Highly recommended.

Having Spanish food for a meal is a solid move to get to know someone, with the inherent shareability of small plates (tapas, as they call it). For appetizer, we shared the Enye Callos Buns (PhP 135). Soft and savory, the buns were filled with slow-cooked callos (beef tripe). Sitting neatly on crispy shoestring potatoes, the Enye Callos Buns tasted sweet and savory, almost like those of Tim Ho Wan’s famous pork buns but with a Spanish twist. Once bitten, an explosion of delicious flavor enters your mouth. It’s quite the party!
Gambas Enye Style (PhP 350) is just about the ideal tapas bar snack. Topped with garlic chips and garlic chives, the succulent shrimps were cooked in garlic infused olive oil and roasted garlic. If you love garlic, expect this to be a great treat. The oil swimming in the earthenware dish sings high notes of layered garlic flavors, it can be transcendent. This appetizer was one of our favorites.
Cafe Enye’s Calamares Salad (PhP 250) was surprisingly awesome, far more than just pescetarian patronization. Lots of thought went into their crunchy leafy greens and bits of calamari. The best of the bunch was the “secret” green onion dressing which was rich and full of flavor. This dish delivered it in spades.
Bacalao Mantecato (PhP 245) is new in my book and it gets a big thumbs up. Thickened in cream and mashed potatoes, the bacalao (salt cod fish) was topped with salted egg and crispy garlic. Trust me, it’s a must-order. If you have any inclination toward fish, this could be your best dish of the night. Eat it with the crisp slices of bread to balance the flavor.
Looking for a little carb action? Get the Fish Mojo Skewers (PhP 380). It’s comprised of two sticks of citrus marinated fish skewers served with Enye rice, cilantro yogurt, Harissa and Latin salsa. Combined with many flavorful spices in one plate, this was like a “choose your own adventure” kind of entree in delicious rice. With a touch of slight hotness and a not-too-thick texture and consistency, Fish Mojo Skewers is a tough combo to hate on.
Our last main course was the Enye Cocido (PhP 395). It’s a classic Spanish stew of chicken and pork with carrots, cabbage, and plantains served with eggplant relish and Enye rice. I suspect it took some time to cook the chicken and pork because meat is so tender. These had the type of luscious texture that makes it tough to put your fork down. Well executed, it’s a welcome addition to any group of two or three people.
For desserts, we had the house signature Churros with Dulce de Leche Cream (PhP 170)—homemade light pate a choux pastry with dulce de leche red egg and chocolate-peanut butter dips. We liked that the churros were crispy and golden on the outside and chewy and dense and creamy on the inside. Dulce de leche dip was twice better than the other.
Lastly, we tried the Creme Catalan (PhP 185). classic vanilla and orange zest infused custard topped with fresh fruits and served with a shot of artisan espresso. The waiter suggested that the best way to eat it is to take a spoonful of Creme Catalan and then a shot of the espresso right after. All in all, this entrée tasted sweet and bitter both in extreme levels, a lot like life.
I love their Pumpkin Soup, Carne Asada Cubano and Pork Skewers!
I would like to request for bigger servings but other than that, they are very accommodating.
Meeting a friend at #EastwoodMall and decided to go to the Spanish theme cafe, #CafeEnye located at the ground floor of Excelsior Building, Eastwood Avenue, Libis, Quezon City. 🚗🇪🇸
I am amazed with the chic interior of the cafe. Very colorful. 🎨
The coffee and desert that we ordered taste good, especially the churros, it compliments with the chocolate sauce and dulce de leche cream. ☕️
Cafe Latte - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
Iced Cappuccino - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
Chouxros with Dulce de Leche Cream - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
The service of their staff is superb 👍🏼 but the wifi/internet has a poor signal 👎🏼 #ilovetoeat 😃❤️
My friends and I had dinner at the newly-opened Cafe Enye in Eastwood.
For appetizers, we had the Enye Callos Buns and Gambas Enye Style. I loved both appetizers but I would highly suggest that you try the Enye Callos Buns.
For pasta, we tried the Bacalao Puttanesca and the Lechon Carbonara, both dishes are well-executed and generously served. A dish can be shared by 2-3 persons.
For main dishes, we had the Fish Mojo Skewers and the Grilled Pork Chop. I do loved the Fish Mojo Skewers, served with a cilantro yogurt sauce and the salsa.
For desserts, we had the Creme Catalan and the Chouxros with Dulce de Leche Cream. I found the Chouxros a bit too heavy but I loved the Creme Catalan, served with espresso to balance the sweetness.
For drinks, I'm a fan of the Cucumber Calamansi Smoothie but the Spanish Tablea was nice too.
Overall, I love the ambiance, the service and the food. I have yet to try the breakfast dishes but I will on my next visit.
Oh Cafe Enye. The name alone sounds cozy. But it's cozier when you get there! The place is great. You'd feel at home eating there! My friend and I tried eating at Cafe Enye two weeks ago. The staffs are accommodating enough. We ordered Aglio Olio Pasta and churros. I love how tasty their aglio olio pasta is. The churros are soft and the dip complements them. But I think that their food is a bit pricey knowing that the serving is not that enough when shared. Still, I will definitely go back and try the rest on their menu soon!
Spanish food with a twist. Ambiance perfect for friends catch up. At a glance the prices look expensive but turned out just right as servings were huge. Main courses are to share and plating adds to the touch. The house blend ice tea was realy nice. One clue to a good Spanish resto is how they do callos. Enye tops it! Loved how they added shitake mushrooms which made it more yum. This place is right below my place so looks like Ill be hanging out there more often.
Cafe Enye is a newly opened restaurant beside the healthy options outlet and across from the 1800 bldg. The place looked very inviting from the outside so we gave it a try.
The interior design was very cozy due to the good lighting and nice ambiance. The menu had a lot of choices; ranging from appetizers, pasta dishes to desserts (sadly we didn't get to try them). We ordered the Pollo Croquettas, Aglio Olio, Lechon Carbonara, Burgerizzo and Lechon Cubano. Probably the best one out of all we ordered was the Lechon Cubano. Bread was slightly toasted, egg and lechon nicely complemented each other and the serving size was just right. The burgerizzo was also good. I could tell that the patty was fresh and not frozen overnight. We also got to try the croquettas which were very tender. It was so good, we had to order another one. The pasta dishes however didn't impress us much. The lechon slices in the carbonara smelled too much that it overpowered the taste of the sauce. The chorizo bits in the Aglio Olio were too salty. But those are the only complaints we had. We may come back again to try some of the other dishes.
Recommended for foodies who don't mind to spend a little more money for food than usual.😊
Nice ambiance. Love the food. Although, there is a tapa with rice on their menu that tasted too salty. Nonetheless, everything else is good.
