Went here to drink with a friend earlier this year. There’s no big crowd, just a bunch of people casually drinking. We tried a few drinks and the best one goes to their gin tonic. The Waterfall was a failure tho, the guy setting it up wasn’t able to produce a dripping flame effect from the flowing alcohol.
All in all, good ambiance, small crowd, very chill atmosphere.
Chill and Cozy place within Quezon Avenue
This is the place to be if you wish for a chill night with your partner or friends!
On the other hand, the food here is not that great. The serving size and taste are nothing to rave about. You would come here only for the ambiance.
4 stars because I really liked the place and the band! 😁
We’ve been here with my friends to have an after christmas party. We just chill and have some nice drinks and food. It was good. But it was raining that time, I still appreciate the view tho but I think it is more memorable if the weather is with the vibe.
If you're looking for some place to go when you want to actually talk to your friends on weekdays, this place is great!
I went on a Friday night and there was a band of 3 rowdy guys playing, and they had a very loud, rocker feel. Also seemed like they were drunk or high or something. I didnt expect a band like that to play somewhere as pretty as the place sorry I hated the band. My friends and I couldn't hear each other.
But other than that, the place was so peaceful and the view was relaxing. Who would have thought that such a place exists around that area. Perfect for unwinding. You can smoke there, too! No need to leave the table to have a cigarette. Food was okay, too.
Would definitely come back! But definitely not on Fridays because that's when those guys are playing 😂
Who would've thought that there was rooftop bar so close to the MRT and Hi-Top? This is a good place to avoid crowds and just have good conversations with friends over whiskey, martini, or wine (among many others).
Though I don’t usually go to bars, I can appreciate and love how cozy this place is – from the big door that leads to a steampunk-inspired bar with rustic interior as well as comfortable chairs and sofa to the breathtaking view of the city skyline. This is indeed a beautiful and perfect place to hang out with friends or colleagues after work.
I have a confession to make, I have a thing for roofdeck bars and sunsets. It’s a giveaway why I or anyone loves a sunset; it’s Mother’s Nature’s way of showing off. It’s easily my favorite colors and I never met a sunset I didn't like. And rooftops, I love roof tops. There’s quite a magical vibe to them; the feeling like you’re on top of the world, the fantastic views or maybe just the fact that each one is unique. While the city hums below, roof tops with an epic view of sunsets has the power to make one pause for a moment, find that silence and no matter where you are in life right now, consider that life is pretty amazing.

I’m not much of a drinker but I understand the appeal of hanging out somewhere scenic or cozy, favorite concoction in hand and just chat with friends. Last Friday night, together with fellow Zomato foodies, I did just that at The Nautilus Whiskey Bar. Named after the submarine helmed by Captain Nemo in Jules Verne’s classic adventure novels Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and The Mysterious Island, the bar boasts of an extensive wine list, steampunk-inspired interiors made to look like the inside of the famed submarine designed by artist Ram Mallari, Jr., and a roofdeck that provides a breathtaking view of Quezon City.
Was looking a for really good bar for after dinner drinks that wouldnt require you to go drive far to ortigas or bgc area. Was pleasantly surprised at this new spot. Before you can reach the topdeck though (10th flr), the elevator stops off at the 8th and you'd have to go few flight of glass stairs. Bar/lounge with its open deck gave a relaxing, laid back, chill vibes. The indoor area was surprisingly well thought off with steampunk decor and nice lighting and furnitures. It was a weekday, thought there would be a handful of people but surprisingly id say half of the deck lounge was filled with a handful at the indoor area. It wasnt that rowdy a place which is a pleasant respite from the bars and lounges along timog and t. morato. Drink list was plenty and reasonable priced. Whiskey drink list was 👍👍👍 was able to drink a few selection from the ones I had in Ireland and if we werent full from the dinner party, we'd surely try out their menu. A band started to play with a cool setlist..nice choice of music and artists, (played r&b, reminiscent of those south border, side A band sound). A very hip and classy place you would want to bring guests to. Rarely do you see these kinds of topdeck bars in this side of the town. Will definitely comeback.
I celebrated my birthday here last March. I still remember it like it was yesterday. The place looks and feels awesome. The inside of the bar was cool as it had a very steampunk vibe and look to it. But, the roof deck blew us away. The view was amazing.
As for the food, it was great. I'd recommend the Truffle Sisig. Every one of my guests liked the food that they ordered. But the fries were 86'd from the menu quite early, maybe too early that time. The variety of drinks is something else too. The number of drinks that are on the menu is really great too. You'll definitely find something that you would like.
The thing that I really didn't like was the loud, even too much at times live music. We stayed on the roofdeck and the live music was overpowering at times that saturday night. The performer that night was practically singing too loud and not the perfect type of music for the place. The feel of the roof deck would have been perfect for some chill, acoustic and ambient music. That's just me though.
The service was okay. There were some orders that I needed to follow up 2-3 times. But hey, there were more than 20 of us and the waiters are taking orders from us left and right. It might be a red flag for some, but we were having too much fun so we didn't really dwell on it. I'm not really critical on the service of an establishment because it can be very different for every single customer.
The prices are reasonable, but it depends on what you and your peers are drinking. That time, they had a policy that if you are to go there on a weekend, you'll have to pay a PHP 5000 consumable for a table. Now, that's fine if you are to buy a whole bottle of scotch or whatever for your group. But if you just plan to drink a few bottle of beers with your friends, that would have been too much and it would be best for you to visit the bar on a weekday.
There was plenty of parking the time we were there. There is a automated multi storey parking in the hotel area along with a few parking spaces in front. But hey, if you're drinking, you'd probably take a Grab anyway.
TLDR:
Overall, the place is great. The live music may be too overwhelming at times and the service could be better, but with its astounding views, good food, reasonable prices (depends) and great selection of drinks, it would be foolish of me to not come back and not recommend this to anyone else. You'll surely have a great time under the stars.
If you’re looking for a new BGC kinda vibe in QC go visit this place. It’s a roof top bar along qave, really nice interior very cozy place. Initially we wanted to stay at the alfresco side, where the acoustic band is, with a nice city view but the FA said that all tables are reserved so we stayed inside. They have generous serving of their prime nachos, buffalo chicken wing (really spicy) I will definitely recommend both for sharing. Cocktails, I would recommend Lychee martini & mai thai, we’ve also tried whiskey sour & cosmopolitan but did not pass our taste. Overall, will still go back to this place, everything is affordable really nice place and its not congested at all. 😊
Since the inside was a bit crowded, my friends and I decided to stay at the roof deck part. It’s the first time for me to drink under the stars. The ambience was good. Fresh air, overview of Quezon Ave, and the price was worth it too. We ordered beef salpicao and cheese platter, and they were all so so SO GOOD. We ordered a bottle of Jack and some shots of Baileys as well. Staff were attentive. The only thing I didn’t like was the live music. We couldn’t talk at all as we had to shout. The singer wasn’t crooning into the mic, rather she was shouting or singing loudly. Definitely cringey. Will go back for more.
If looking for a great bar and love for whiskey, Nautilus Whiskey Bar is your best choice.

We tried the roasted beef and cheeseburger. Roasted beef was amazing, i loved it. Extra juicy and tender. Full of flavour. Comes w some lettuce, a cherry tomato, perfectly cooked carrots, and 1 small marbled potato cut into half. It was less than P400, and I think that’s amazing value. If you’re hungry, I would recommend adding some mashed potato or rice on the side. Cheeseburger was a little bit oily, but serving was generous. In contrary to other reviews, our food didnt arrive late. It was served around 15-20minutes after we ordered.
Cocktails are truly affordable, just less than P200. I had shaken Margarita. I think there was too much salt at the mouth of my glass. I also tried the lychee martini which I found fabulous. I loved the flavour and the hint of alcohol. My friend had mai tai, she didnt like it.
The place has an amazing city view which was a plus. Indoor seating is spacious and the chairs are really comfortable. The only thing I didnt like was the loud music, since two huge speakers were next to each other at the indoor dining area. It would have been better if one was placed outside. But Im glad that they gladly turned down the volume whenever we requested. I heard Macklemore beats when we were here, good choice.
Parking wasnt a problem eventhough there was a private function going on when we arrived. Service was ace.
Would come back. Would recommend.
Great food! Great place. One of a kind! Must try place in the heart of QC. Good affordable prices, good selection of whiskey, nice view and artworks
Love the food especially the burger and wagyu cubes. View is great and the bar is strategically located in QC for those who don’t want to travel all the way to Makati or BGC for a nice bar to go to.
A chic bar with a roofdeck view , good whiskies and friendly service.
I had a favorite whisky that's not so easy to find - Craigellachie - a Speyside Scotch with unique fruity and smoky notes. My drink mates had Amaretto Sour, Bombay Sapphire G&T, SML Premium.
For barchow we had Salpicao and nachos- both were ok.
Service is friendly and efficient
Great ambiance! Nice place to take a break from reality! Food was served quickly and staff was very kind and polite. I will definitely be recommending this to family and friends. Great business!!
The place is great. Perfect for a chill and cozy night-out with your friends. Food is pricey but can be justified with its quality and taste. Will be recommending this to my family and friends.
