Good choices of meat to grill and they have good kimchi as well. But probably the thing that surprise me here is they give a free rose on each table. I get to keep the Rose in ours. Coincidentally few days before going I was asking for a sign, a single red rose to be given to me or dropping from the sky on the day when I meet the love of my life. Funny that I was randomly given a rose while eating with friends, makes me smile and made me eat a lot as I wasn’t really in the mood to eat that day, I just wanna hangout and meet friends I haven’t seen in years. Closing doors and difficult conversations while being unwell in those weeks is not a nice combination ofc, but it seems like meeting with friends and getting a rose on that day is a sign given to me to love myself more and take care of myself, enjoy friendships and be more patient on waiting for the right one. They don’t have a romantic atmosphere which is cool because they put fun on the romantic word, I think that it goes well with the name Romantic Baboy it’s like a pun on romance and food. Also the display outside the shop is cute. Anyway maybe because it’s valentines that I get to write about this place. Who knows maybe one day I get to be here again with friends and someone special. Haha So much about Romance and Fun just because of a rose lol.
The meat is superb for its price. I also love the fast service and friendly staff. The only red flag is the ventilation of the place. Masakit sa mata kasi sobrang mausok. I hope magawan ng paraan next time. But will definitely come back here.
The beef curry was surprisingly good. The side cheese that made them popular was also good and wouldn't make you tire that much. Also their service though not perfect, is better than samgeupsalamat IMO.
Compared to when I first tried it more than a year ago, their service and food improved significantly. Their cheese has always been better than the others’, but this time they’ve stepped up their game in a number of ways. Adding the garlic mayo dip, their side dishes, even their kimchi is so much better now!
Also, their meat and marinade is just to die for. Some of the staff members could use a little more politeness. But generally, they are courteous and offered fast service.
Used to not like Samyup, never been a fan until I tasted Romantic Baboy. It was indeed a love at first bite. ❤️
The meat was indeed of better quality compared to the previous samyup I have even been to. And they even serve unlimited 🧀🧀 🧀.
Romantic Baboy also has a wide section of side dishes. One of my fave is their fish cake that I even finished 4 servings. (did skipped the rice, that is why 😂)
Our unlimited Korean grill and barbeque experience with unlimited cheese serving for php499 is definitely worth it! ❤️
Its my first time to eat here. The reason i never go to a romantic baboy. Its because of the lines that I see outside, whenever i pass by.
Its a saturday night and we arrived at 12:45am, a little surprised to see that its open from 11am-6am 🤩
Overall experience is good, the employees are nice the food is good. The only reason for the less 1 star is because we saw some tiny cockroaches on the wall. And they moved us to another seat, and prepared everything like we just arrived 🤩
Also I really like the rose they gave us, after we settle our payment. And the rose is fresh and wrap very well. Its like it was just newly delivered. 😍
So far, this is my favorite samgyup place. I liked their meat and their banchan as well. They also had a garlickyy sour cream idk what it is dip that i really liked. Highly recommend this place kaysa sa other samgyup places, it's really sulit. Bonus, i their their seats are more comfortable kasi haha.
If you really want a to Korean Food and for me this is one of the get go restaurant that you need to go to. Their service is awesome because they do it quick. The waiters are friendly. The meat that they serve are tender upon cooking. Of course, their cheese sauce! 💖
The original romantic baboy location, and perhaps the best one. Conditions are about what you expect, it's smoky inside unless you physically hold down the exhaust as low as it can go. But the service here seems much better than others, getting in is fairly quick, and they move fairly quickly.
Dined here twice already since it first opened and I had to say that their food never fails me! I love their marinated meats as well, especially their cheese! Glad that this restaurant's grill has a separate compartment for the hot kimchi, egg, and cheese. This restaurant is priced just right. Can't wait to dine here again!
Good quality meat and side dishes in this place. Definitely one of my fave kbbq places to go to with friends. The only problem with Tomas Morato branch is the long line and waiting time, so better come early for this one.
This tops my list in my favorite unli k-bbq. It was my first time trying romantic baboy and it didn't fail me. Food was good, service is fast, staffs are friendly and ambiance is good also. There are a lot of side dishes to choose from and variants of meat. I would definately comeback and recommend this place.
I hope their other branches has the same service offer like in here at Tomas Morto.
And also! This place is literally romantic hahaha 🐷🌹
Romantic Baboy started the cheese as an add on to the meat and it just made everything perfect until they changed their brand of cheese and sadly it tasted cheap unlike their usual creamier and stringy cheese. All in all their side dishes are good along with their kimchi the usual pair with a typical samgyupsal. Will always come back for more even if their cheese started to suck although some branches uses the original one.
It was my first time to try korean buffet. But romantic baboy really satisfied me. I recomend this place. I really like how the crew responds to the needs of the customers . You must try the woo and the herb samgyupsal . I will celebrate my bday here :)
The food are great! Staffs are great! Tapos pinapalitan pa nila lagi yung grilling pan pag nakita na nila na madumi na or madami nang sunog. And they're very generous about the banchans 😂 my friend really likes their odeng!
This is actually my first time to try unli korean bbq. Me and my partner were so happy and satisfied. I actually got the promo from metrodeal for 299 pesos only. I think that is the time romantic baboy just started its operation.
I really enjoyed the food 😊 so from then on i love trying different restaurant offering unli korean bbq.
Ps. This was way way back when the resto just started 😊
A and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary last October here. Because samg is love, and I love him.
Place: a little bit mausok because of poor ventilation. Expect a long queue. We usually go here 9am wc is an hour early before their opening time and pang-7 or 9 na agad kami sa line.
Crew: attentive crew, pero habang tumatagal nagiging masungit because i think tinatamad na sila? hehehe
Meats: Pork & Beef. Malasa even yung mga hindi marinated.
Side dishes: normal tasteeee. But RB originally introduced cheese as a side dish and it was so gooooooodddd. Since then, cheese is a must for me when it comes to samgs.
Currently, RB is my Top 1 Samg.
Def will recommend RB!! 👍🏻
Hi A, samg tom please ❤
The place was great but I waited almost 2 hrs in line. I wish they would expand there place to accommodate more customers. Pork and beef have 4-5 different flavors like other kbbq's.
Sulit yung money dito. Super sarap ng food at very attentive yung mga crew. Yung mga side dishes ang sasarap. Although yung cr talaga medyo madumi kasi iisa lang.
Food is 5 stars
but the fact that the meat is given in small servings is a hassle. We had to call endless times for a new ration of meat. Once we put a batch in the grill, we had to call for another so that we won’t get bitin. Had to call for kimchi about 6 times since they serve it in again, small servings. A hassle. I can’t imagine how tired the servers are since people call them all the time.
If you have a big appetite, better call your orders in advanced.
All praises for the food though. Best samgyupsal meat but Ogane still has the best kimchi for me.
Might be one of my go-to places for legit samgyupsal around the metro. This branch is just across our office so it's very accessible and easily spotted along Timog Ave. Went there with a friend out of random craving and we lined up. We waited for about 30 minutes before we were offered a table. Servers are all attentive. The cheese dip is to die for! It's my favorite aside from fish cake sides. The place is spacious although I wish there were more televisions because we love Kpop so much! Will definitely try because the beef and pork are all good.
P.S. They gave me a rose when I ate here! So sweet. Even the manager is very attentive to each customer's needs and experience!
This is the best samgyupsal restaurant in the Metro!! The quality of the beef and pork are beyond excellence. I'm also impressed with their service crews for their expertise in handling a lot of pressure because of the numbers of customers. I also love their variety of meat and beef flavors you can choose from. This restaurant is highly recommended for everyone especially for meat lovers!
The crew is really attentive. Youll see that they really are busy serving food to customers and they even ask you from time to time if you need to order for more. The food is great so is the place.
By far the BEST Korean Barbeque Resto in the Metro!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Food 5/5
Value for Money 5/5
Ambiance and Cleanliness 4/5
Customer Service 5/5
For only 499 php you can try everything unlimited, that includes their variety of pork, beef meats and banchan. All side dishes were so delicious and the soup is to live for!!
The staff were very attentive and rendered service really fast. We enjoyed how they play KPOP videos, which adds up a more Korean vibe in the resto. Will definitely come back and recommend it to my family and friends!!
Among all popular KBBQ I tried, I most enjoyed it here at Romantic Baboy. First because their Beef bulgogi (and even pork) tastes much better and fresher compared to other kbbq restos. Second, the place is well maintained and the crews are very much attentive.
I tried eating at Romantic Baboy Diliman, GMA, and Centris, but I much enjoyed my dine-in experience here at Tomas Morato branch, though the lines are most of the time ugggh too long. It’s worth the wait. Hehe!
“Dare to Compare” is confidently plastered over the walls of Romantic Baboy and for good reason. You get more than your money’s worth with tasty varieties of meat and side dishes, all delivered by prompt, attentive, and courteous servers. We were fortunate to get seated quickly but even otherwise, I would have still felt the wait would be well worth it.
Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tasty meat choices. Thin strips are evenly cut while their thick-cut meats are packed with flavor.
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Gave them 5 stars for the service for the extra ordinary effort that the crews are doing for their customers.
No need to ask for refills because they’re the one who are offering. (Kudos guys) 😊
Ambiance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Well ventilated, clean and vibrant.
All the KBBQ’s that we visited was hot and they’re the only KBBQ shop that exceeded my expectation.
Indeed Romantic Baboy earned the right to DARE its patrons to COMPARE!
It was my first time visiting romantic baboy last week and I am satisfied of their service. The food, the ambience and the management are all good. The crew are attentive and they always check if you have order from time to time. Will surely go back.
We were at this branch for a late lunch at 3:00 p.m. The security guard who assisted us said our table was being set I told to myself 'weh', hahaha! But true enough, not even 5 minutes we were seated. The table was set with 6 side dishes and the hot grill. Unlimited meats for 499 Pesos it's a good deal.
The service is good but we had to ask them for the rice and soup. Other than that service is prompt. I highly recommend this place. Good food and good value for your money.
The place is small but the ambience is nice. There is a waiting place (which is needed because this place has no reservations and is a first come first serve basis). Food is great and service is excellent. Downfall is, as usual for these kinds of places, ventilation but if you take it slow at the grill then no excessive smoke will be produced.
Our experience was excellent! 👍👍
Hindi nakakaumay yung cheese nila. Sarap ng meats hindi tinitipid yung serving. Everything tastes good. Lahat ng side dishes masarap.
What we didnt like is the kimchi which is in the grilling also. Its kinda weird and nawala yung lasa nung kimhi kasi nainit, humiwalay na yung spices and parang di maganda tignan na nagseseparate na rin yung oil niya. Parang dapat palit sila nung japchae na malamig. Anyways still good.
Nakakatuwa din yung rose na binibigay nila upon giving the bill.
Value for money Korea buffet. Pioneered the unli cheese partnered with the grilled meats. For 500 php you get your unlimited fill or different cuts of meat. You must have patience while waiting for your turn.
It was okay. Needs more staff as we had to ask several times for them to change our grill before they were finally able to. It's either they need more staff or more grills. Was it worth the hype and the long line? Not really. There are other korean places where you can get about the same experience you can have here without having to wait too long in line.
To be honest,
It was my first time to try out "Romantic Baboy" especially with the hype that it was getting. It got me pretty excited. So paid a visit and fell in line which took like almost 3 hours (normal for a samgyupsal place).
So once I got called as I entered seeing the food that the other customers were eating made my even hungrier. I excitedly told the server.. "Ate, Unli Pork & Beef Po". What I ordered first was the Spicy Beef (because I love spicy food) and also the Bulgogi.
So okay, what you get for 499 pesos is...
-6 unli side dishes
-Unli Beef and Pork
-Unli Rice
Lastly, what the people are buzzing about...
-Unli Cheese Fondue
After 5 hours of eating (yes, I took that long because you need to get your money's worth okay) what I can say is...
Ambiance: 10/10
-Seeing everyone enjoying and talking made me feel such a comfortable feeling.
Service: 9/10
-The servers were very helpful and kind but the amount of people raising their hands would really be in the way of you asking for additional things.
Food: 6/10
-I know some of you might really be shocked with my rating regarding their food. But as a person who has tried authentic samgyeopsal in Korea. The best place closest to the authentic taste is "Samgyupsalamat" and "Premier Samgyupsal".
-Their side dishes were pretty normal. If you're not a fan of kimchi ask the servers to take it off the grill for that you'll instantly burn them as you grill your meat. Their "pork and beef" were pretty normal for me, they just added "Cheese Fondue" to add a more dynamic taste.
So the question right now is did I have any regrets with my "Romantic Baboy" experience?
The answer is "NO" for that you still get your money's worth. But never limit yourself to only one place. Always learn to try out new things. For that there is a sea full of food places to try out in this world.
So CROSS doesn't have any REGRETS.
I arrived at 10 am to have my name listed, and we were already #22. The earliest reservation was made at 7 am, where it was at 20+ pax. Same goes for the second in line. We entered at around 1 pm.
They have a variety of meat to choose from, and I enjoyed the seasoning of each one. My personal favorite is the seasoned pork neck.
However, what I was very excited to try was their cheese, and it was actually a let down. Having eaten other Korean restaurants with cheese, it was nothing special.
Needless to say, I will come back for their seasoned meat if lines become shorter.
worth to wait..., sobra na lula aq sa kimchi ska ang mabait ung mga staff and ung owner. 👍 sa food masarap ang food 👍👍👍 speechless tlg aq . 😊
may pa rose pa 😊
I love the food!!! Everyone should experience eating here. The melted cheese, the meats, the veggies! It feels like I’m in Busan all over again! 😍
I would say that this is one of the Best Unlimited Korean Barbecue / Sangyeupsal that I've been. The location is in Interpid Plaza in Eastwood. They have great customer service, as the staffs are very polite. The place is clean and neat. They have different varieties of side dishes. The meat are already marinated before. Since they are on a soft opening I would understand that for MOP they wouldn't accept card as payment..
I had a great experience dining here not only because Im with my dearest friends but also because it carried out what Im expecting with the food they offer. The meat is good, we enjoyed grilling it. The side dishes are good too. (Wag mahihiyang magparefill 😂), their staff are all accomodating. 499 pesos is ok, its up to you how you make it.. "worth it" since its unlimited.
The only drawback here is that you have to wait long.. (too long na tipong malilipasan ka na ng gutom😂). Thanks to my preggy friend we get to queue on Priority. (Pero matagal pa rin😐)
Will definetely be back. (Pag wala na pila😂🤣)
Ok guys. I was just so impressed by their service so here's an honest review.
We first went to Samgyupsalamat but we were 12th on queue and we were just craving for Korean! We saw Romantic Baboy just a few steps away and found that we were 6th on queue. We came here at around 11pm and groups were starting to finish up. We were seated by 11:30. Not bad. As soon as we were seated, the banchan was already prepared for us and they asked if we wanted rice.
We could only order 2 types of meat at a time. The cheese, egg, and kimchi were refillable too. What impressed me the most was their speedy service. I had asked for a refill of lettuce and the spicy meat and it was served fresh on our table in less than 2 minutes! It was that quick! Ventilation was also great and space doesn't feel cramped at all.
I would definitely choose RB now over SGS. I miss the sweeter mix of SGS though.

We went here last August 16 for our anniversary dinner coz we're both craving for some korean bbq. We got really curious as to why people would line up for 2 hrs + for a korean bbq.
So here it goes
Food - 5 stars - loved their meat selection(14 diff kind of meat). All of their side dishes are delish. I just don't like how bland their japchae is.
Ambiance - 5 stars - place was jampacked when we visit but when it's our turn to go inside everything was already set (side dish, grill, plates, etc). It was not too hot also considering the number of diners.
Staff - 4 stars - they were all very courteous and attentive to the customers though sometimes they forget some requests so i had to follow up several times
Cleanliness - 3 stars - there were some used tissues below the table, comfort room is shared
Will i go back? YES.
Will i line up again for their korean bbq? YES.
Will i recommend this to friends/family? Definitely YES, but i would suggest them not to visit during peek hours though 😂
The best SAMGYUPSAL I have ever been. The only cons for this place is super haba ng pila. Nakatatlong balik na kami na 4hours lagi queueing sa labas. Kailangan planuhin nyo muna pano lilibangin sarili nyo habang gutom. Pero pag anjan ka na, worth the wait.
Late post, late review. I’ve been trying to figure out what makes Romantic Baboy stand out from all other resto that offers the same unlimited Korean Barbeque aka Samgyeopsal. That famous grilled pork belly ususally wrapped in a crispy chunk of lettuce combined with variety of Korean spices or side dishes eg; kimchi, banchan. I have observed though, after bloating myself of 6 plates combination of pork and beef and countless bed of lettuce, that they are the only resto with the same offer that serves CHEESE along with this well known Korean meal. Yes, grilled and melted cheese is a wow on top of those meat or kimchi wrapped in a lettuce leaf. The rest would be resembling to others except that after bloating you with limitless iced tea and broiled solid, you get a surprise when you ask for your bill, the resto tradition would be to give out fresh roses to customers upon giving them their change. So now i get it why it was called “Romantic” Baboy.😂 because it’s satisfying and sweet.👌🏻💕. Four of five stars for that romantically bloating idea and RECOMMENDED!❣️

The queuing line for this restaurant is very long and be ready to wait for 2 hours and more. (Does anyone have the patience for that?) What Romantic Baboy boasts is their cheese dip that I personally think what makes them unique from other KBBQ grill in town. Meat is good plus the service is great. However, I believe that no reservation and no time limit policy is not fair and should be changed by management because I think that would be the reason why people would not think of dining in the place again.
The most romantic place I've been to, You're definitely gonna fall in love in this place....with the food hehe! Although it was the longest I have to wait just to get in, I waited for four hours can you just imagine sitting out there just waiting for 4 hours but It was all worth it. The service was fast and they were attentive, the food was great the meat was not cut too thin. Great variety of side dishes also to accompany the meat. I would definitely recommend you come early because the queue is super long.
super love it :) the pork, beef and everything are super yummy :) sulit :) hindi masyadong nkakaumay :) their griller is ok kc mabilis sya mkaluto unlike other korean grill super tagal bago ka makakain. and i sooooo love the samgyupsal paired with cheese and their hot kimchi :)

It was my first time to try an unli korean bbq and I can say that romantic baboy is the best!! Worth the price and their staffs are very accommodating too. Inlove with their kimchi ❤️🤤
*they also give roses before customers leave + kuyang guard issa good photographer 😆
Worth the wait! Fell in line at quarter to 5, ate at 6:30. Wasn't able to keep track of how many platea of meat we were able to consume. Staff were friendly and accommodating. 🤙👌
The meats and banchans are good! Honestly, they're as good as the ones from Samgyupsalamat :) it can also get as busy as other restos so service time may be compromised.
What sets this resto apart are the interiors and ambiance, unli melted cheese dip and the omelette on the grill.
However, braving the long lines isn't really worth it. I waited 6 hours (longest I've waited for food!) and honestly nalipasan na ko ng gutom. My companion and I only ate 3 servings of meats and wala na kaming gana masyado. 😅 I guess hintayin niyo na lang mag mellow yung hype. Hahah.
One of the most delicious korean bbq we've been into. Haaays if only we could eat here everyday but the problem is the long line, literal na long line everyday. When we got here we waited for 3 hours just to get a table I was losing hope but my partner and I never gave up just to try their awesome BBQ. ☺️ Although we've waited for a couple of hours the food and service didnt dissapoint us. BBQ with cheese is so heaven I couldn't ask for more. 👌😋
Most delicious Korean Bbq I have tried so far! Super love their curry beef and spicy beef! Kimchi Cheese and Egg are also very good! The long wait is definitely worth it!
This is my first time eating here in romantic baboy because of my korean bff suggested me. The reason why people are crazy for romantic baboy is because of their cheese drip and egg at the side 😂
One of the best korean bbq places I've been to. This restaurant caught my eye when I saw that they have unlimited cheese dip. Their grill is unlike the usual because it has a pan for the cheese, kimchi and the egg. They have a wheel of meats to choose from which is placed in your table. Compared to samgyupsalamat, this place has better and more meat, more side dishes and a better service. Although the waiting time is much longer here maybe because of the trend and they only have 2 branches open right now.
Worth the money and the wait. Plus you get a rose at the end of the meal which is what makes it "romantic"
The loooongggg wait is over!!!! Atlast neighbour we had the chance to experienced how Romantic you are!!! ❤️😉 The best korean grill in the metro! 👏🏻👌🏻 #romanticbaboy #cheezysamgyupsal
🌸 Location is accessible along Tomas Morato
🌸 Limited parking space
🌸 Expect the long queue and huge count of people
🌸 The cheese they are serving is just an ordinary and typical cheese that can be found in major supermarkets and convinient stores (don't expect too much on this)
🌸 Great presentation of meat at first to second order (as seen on the photos below)
🌸 Some korean bbqs here are not well marinated
🌸 There are lazy and not approachable dining staff
🌸 Price ranges from 250-500 pesos (buffet)
Prepare to wait for 2-3 hours. Good thing they will open a new branch along Timog (near GMA) on August 2018 that will be more spacious and can accomodate more people.
They have more variety in pork and beef compared to Samgyupsalamat. They also have more side dishes! (Chapchae was really good). Of course they have cheese and egg which were added bonus to our meal.
Very fast turnover! They have better exhaust system although you still smell after you eat.
the only problem you will encounter was the queue but over all everything is worth the wait. especially the samgyupsal with cheese. 👌 we will coming back for sure.
SOOO GOOOOOD!!! We went around 2pm to avoid queueing long! We were third in line and got in at 2:15! Upon entry, our table is ready with all the side dishes and stuff except for the meat which will be asked from you when you’re already seated.
Service is fast and polite :) I loved how the servings are so generous! Staff were all smiles when they take your orders as if encouraging you to order me. They wouldnt let you feel na “tama na” or wouldnt slow down service when youve ordered a lot already. Not to mention that their meats are sooo tasteful! Aaaaah currently best samgyup resto for me! ❤️
The overall experience for this place is really good. The food is great, the staffs though took a longer time everytime we request our meat to be refilled. But i think its just because there are to many customers when we visited this branch.

- Kung kaya mo kumain ng iba't-ibang klase ng meat sa isang kainan lang, then definitely masusulit mo ang unli meat with unli rice and side dishes nila.
- If you can't then you must definitely try their Spicy Beef Meat. I recommend this meat because it's so past good. Superb mi amigo.
- Affordable lahat ng nasa menu pero kung icocompare mo siya sa mga competing restaurant with the same food. I bet you would have a second guess on availing from their ala carté menu. Mas pricey kasi yung nasa menu (for ala carte) compared sa ibang restaurant na nag-ooffer din ng same product.
- Maasikaso mga crews. Superb service.

Thumbs up for the service of kuya (ano name niya?). Yes, super mahaba pila, waited for 2 hours ata. But food is great! ❤️ I’ll be back but sana di na ganon katagal maghintay.
Waited in line for 5 hours with my friends just to be able to try this samgyupsal place that everyone’s been talking about. A lot of people listed before us already left that’s why we got in quicker. Food was great! Better than samgyupsalamat, for me. There’s a wide variety of meat selection, and I love how they also serve scrambled egg, cheese (my fave), and hot kimchi along with their side dishes. Overall, would definitely recommend this place, although the management definitely has to do something with regards to improving their line scheme and service. And hopefully, they open their other branches already so that the crowd will be divided.
I am just extremely glad I’ve waited in line for four hours!! It feels like I was back in Korea, having authentic Korean barbecue. This place has the best bulgogi!
Staff looked tired, but were nice enough. Place is so packed but was kept clean the whole time.
Well, after reading all the reviews about the place, we have decided to try Romantic Baboy too. Before heading to the place [before 10pm], I was already thinking that maybe, there's no more long queue just to be seated, but we're wrong. Coz we waited until 12:30 before we were able to eat. So it's from 10:45pm, total of 2hrs waiting. When we went inside, our table was already set up with 6 ban chans including egg, kimchi and melted CHEESE. So from the variants of the meat, we were only allowed to order two at a time. The japchae was good. The egg and cheese servings were generous. Over all, it was worth the wait though when it comes to the meat, it was not as many as the meats being offered from Premier. And, before leaving the place, they gave us a rose as a way of saying thank you for visiting them. Will definitely come back, but an earlier time will do. Hahaha
