Super love ko Jco Alcapone
J.CO’s Mylosaurus was introduced September of last year as part of their promotional donut but lucky you, Milo lovers, because it’s here to stay!. This sweet tooth beauty is generously filled with chocolate malt whipped cream, topped with milk chocolate and garnished with chocolate malt powder.
I love the chocolate malt whipped cream. I expected it to be overly sweet but no! Malt has this bittersweet taste and the chocolate whipped cream isn’t too sweet- just the right combination for us sweet lovers.

I like this place. Maluwag and hindi crowded at times. Kailangan lang magpest control kasi i saw at least 2 small roaches sa floor. Makes me wonder about their kitchen where the sugar are.
My kids love doughnuts, so this is where I usually go to buy their favorite pasalubong...
This place in Eastwood is a big one, so you'll always find available seats if you want a sip of coffee and chill for a little while...
I can still remember when I used to line up about an hour to get a dozen or two. Jco is best known for the Alcapone donuts and two more flavors. I admit, I was a bit disappointed when I tried the others back then so I kind of avoid lining up for these until I finally got a hand of some of their new flavors. I’ll be honest, I liked it a lot! Even their glazed donuts are good and at par with KK’s, at least for me.
And here we are again with my team.. having some of our favorite variants from Jco:
Alcapone, Tira Miss U, Crunchy Crunchy, Black Jack (a bit better than Choco Wacko IMO), and the one that has coconut that I forgot.
Kinda like their coffee and some of their iced-blended drinks.
The most not crowded J.CO branch where you can actually sit, relax and chill. What cafés should make you feel right?
Food - 3. Pretty much the same on other branches.
Ambiance and Service - 4. Since it is not crowded, you'll actually get the service/comfort you can't get from other branches.
Eversince this chain came to the Philippines, you can consistenytly see long lines of patrons waiting to get that piece of sweetness. And now the hype has died down, still the one thing this donut has that’s not found with other similar chains is the texture and balanced sweetness of the donuts. Though when the donut is not consumed hours after buying, the quality is no longer the same. So better consume it same day.

Alcapone, Avocado DiCaprio and Tiramisu are my favourite donuts. They’re very flavourful and saucy. Also appreciate their Thai Milk Tea, here’s the best so far.
This is near my workplace. Whenever I want to buy a dozen of their donuts I ask my workmates If they wanna buy too so we can buy a 2-dozen donuts so the price will be much cheaper than buying just a dozen. And I always emerge successful 😁. Who would actually let go of the an offer especially if I say that they just need to consider it as a pasalu ong to loved ones when it's sahod day. I really love their donuts. I always include different variants of their donuts in my box and not forgetting their no. 1 bestseller 😋🍩🍩

Good place. Good donuts and good coffee :) they still offer free donut for every beverage. Win win :) i wish that they bring back the good price/deal for 2 dozens or a dozen :(
I had a long day and needed some caffeine in my system. Prices for their coffee are relatively affordable. I got uno cafe latte (Php 100). I was surprised it came with free coffee. Not bad for the price.
Then tried their single yogurt (Php 95) which came with 1 topping (got kiwi). I liked the taste wasn’t too sour. I think they need to clean up the place a bit.

The flash mob shoot that we did was a success so we decided to have a personal reward for a job well done. Since we were already in Libis and since we do not have J.CO where we live, a quick drop before we went home was in order. We got the 1/2 Dozen Donuts (Php 255), half of which was Alcapone. The three others were White Velvet, White Desert and Caviar Chocolate. As always, the taste of their doughnuts never disappoints!

Their place here is big. It's cool inside. The lighting on the counter is bright and a bit dark on the entrance and on the back (I don't know, maybe it's their opening?), well that shouldn't be the case. It looked unlively inside except for the counter.
Service is so so. The man on the counter should at least smile (his face has no emotion while getting my order).
I ordered Iced Hazelnut Chocolate (size: due, P135.00) which comes with FREE Glazzy (actually, I don't know this one, I thought the order on the counter isn't mine since I didn't order any donut). I checked my receipt and I asked one of the staff, and I was informed that every order of a drink, I can get a free Glazzy. Not a bad deal right?
Verdict: Their Iced Hazelnut Chocolate is so sweet and I like it, and when I like it, I can consume it all easily. It's not bland, and you'll feel how thick what your drinking is. I'm also loving the whip cream.
As for their Glazzy, it's too soft and not too sweet. It's too soft to the point that it seems it's filled with air. Anyway, it's free so just enjoyed it. I don't want to compare but for this type of donut only, I like Starbucks' Glazed donut which I find bigger and tastier especially when its hot.
Anyway, I still like J.Co's creative and cool way of introducing different flavored donuts (I like the Cheesy one).
Our eldest sister arrived from the airport just this evening, and as usual all four of us sisters went on a foodtrip. We drove to Eastwood where we ate at Bigoli (we missed the bread sticks lol) and at J. Co.
Although I have tried their doughnuts, I have never yet tried J. Co's beverages because I thought they looked too sweet. So it was my first time to try one. We never ordered donuts, just drinks (which came with free glazed donuts, anyway):
⚪Jcoccino Frappe (uno, ₱135)
⚪Hot Hazelnut Latte (uno, ₱120)
⚪Iced Jcoccino Affogato (uno, ₱155)
⚪Iced Cafe Avocado Affogato (uno, ₱155) - my order.
I was surprised that my drink was not sweet at all! It was good, and I liked the dark chocolate ice cream (or gelato) on top too. It was only ruined by too much ice though.
Nice place too -- warm colors and lights -- although I thought it looked a bit outdated. Cozy, to boot.

Update:
My family and I trooped to J.Co last Easter Sunday and had coffee there. While others had their own frappes and iced coffee (which came with free doughnuts), my Nanay and I had the Hot Jcoccino (plus free doughnuts too).
It was my first time to have a hot coffee at J. Co. I liked it. It was not too sweet even if I added brown sugar in it. There was definitely strength in this coffee, and it looked pretty too because of the cute piece of chocolate that floated on the surface, which was then stirred and melted in the drink.
I also decided to order J. Cool frozen yoghurt ("Sharing" size, with four preferred toppings, for the price of ₱190). The package was misleading -- when we thought that the servings were a lot, it was actually served on a shallow plastic container mounted on an small empty paper box. Madaya. 😒 But the taste was good. Even my niece -- who doesn't normally eat fruits -- liked the froyo and the toppings. I thought she'd be turned off at how sour the froyo was, but to my surprise and delight, she liked it. 😊
After dinner, we wanted some dessert and off we go to J.Co. I had the Green Tease and for the drink, we tried the Popcorn Caramel Frappe. I’m not sure if it’s just a limited time offer. It really has a distinct taste of popcorn in it. We just tried it for a change but we’ll still stick with their Cappuccino Avocado frappe next time. This branch is really big - I think it’s the biggest J.Co branch I’ve been to.

Ordered their Thai iced tea. They gave me a free glazed donut. I wasn't aware they had a promo. Tasted just like K****y K***e. The tea was good too.
This branch is spacious. You don't have to worry about not having tables/seats here. The store also closes late so it's a plus!
I love their donuts and they have good coffee too!
J.CO donuts is my favorite donut shop.
The donuts are super yummy, especially when it's freshly made and it's still yummy when you re-heat it in the oven...

J.co is a staple during our students' birthdays! Yoday we had a few boxes of the assorted kind. Loved a few flavours, and others not so much. A few favourites were the oreo, alcapone, and matcha. Also like that the donuts stay soft for a long time.
We try come here in the mornings when we can. Nice place, spacious and high ceilings. Staff are friendly as well.
What I like about J.CO donuts, you get a free glaze donuts with your coffee :)
This J.CO donuts is nice walking distance from the shops.

Our favorite dessert/hangout place after a sumptuous dinner. We love the JCocinno and the free glazzier doughnut that comes with it. It is a quick fix for that sweet tooth craving 😊
JCo in Eastwood is extremely cozy. The place is huge but the ambiance is something you want to return to. It's location and all glass facade made it vulnerable to good lighting. So you can just imagine you dining inside with a doughnut and a dramatic lighting. Anyway. YES. Their doughnuts are amazing WHEN FRESH... so remember that. My faves are Oreology and Chocoloco ❤️
I've never been to J.CO lately but I use to go there at Eastwood Branch a lot. It has been my favorite dayoff and holiday rendezvous.
The proximity of the place from were I stayed before was roughly close. Besides, they have a free, speed internet connection wherein you can dine in alone without getting bored and just surf on the web all you want.
I'm not really a fan of doughnuts. Thats why I normally I would only go for the avocado frappe (plain), cappuccino avocado frappe or the green tea frappe that comes with a free donut and that's it. I'm hella solved !
Vicinity is getatable. The place is spacious and well-ventilated. Staff are affable. If you have sweet tooth, this nook is definitely for you.
Good service and efficient. Ordered an iced americano and was surprised i got free donut! The coffee wasn't anything special but for a donut place it's okay. And free donut cures all problems.
My go to place when I'm pulling an overnighter. They have wifi and plugs. Plus, this J.Co is never as crowded as the other branches. The lines are also shorter.
I like J.CO for their wide variety of creatively flavored donuts. Their donuts are also not as sweet as most of the ones out there.
My favorite from here is their J. Club Cheezy Rich! It's light, creamy, cheesy, and definitely rich but not sweet. It serves as lunch and dessert! Hahahaha!
Their Thai Iced Tea is pretty good too.
This branch is a big one. The line can get pretty long especially when they have to stop serving so they can keep making more donuts.

no lines, no hassle! glad there's not much people in here. a lot of free seats. the ability to stay longer in a cafe to chill is just heaven.
Fast service, pleasant cashier, table available. There's always a place available, whether indoors or outside. Open late at night. Went here to satisfy a yogurt craving.
Not a big fan and I remember waiting until the novelty has worn off before grabbing a couple of boxes and a cup of good coffee. Good to find that donuts are not as sugary as they look. Became one of our regular perks at work since it's just a stone's throw away.
this is one of the many branches of J.CO that will really make you come again.. unlike other branches.. this branch won't piss you about the long line .. because as soon as you entered .. iyou are to be serve already.. and because of that this is a place where in you can sit and sip your coffee for awhile..
I've been here a number of times as it is less crowded and noisy here as opposed to the popular coffee chains in the area. I've tried plenty of their variants and have not found anything I really dislike. Their coffee is okay, too. I keep coming back mostly because it's a nice place to sit and chat.
I will never forget the long line of customers waiting for their turn to buy J.Co Donuts during the first half of the year or even a year after it was opened. That intriguing long line made my friend and I to order 2 dozen assorted J.Co Donuts or J.Pops baby donuts for sharing. For Frappe Delights, Cafe Avocado. The long wait was worth it!
Loving their doughnuts :) it's a nice place to have quiet time. Their coffee and hot choco is perfect while reading books. Their place is good, not to crowded.
Really enjoyed the J.Cool Couple! They will also let you choose for the toppings. For this, I decided to go with frozen strawberries, almonds and KitKat bars. Thumbs up!
This branch is much bigger compared to other J.Co branches. before going home i had my favorite Alcapone donuts and Choco Caviar Strawberry goes well with my Choco Forest Frappe. All of their Donuts taste good. I like this place, I will surely go back here.
We went here almost an hour before their closing time. I had known J.Co as the donut café that anyone would be willing to be in an hour of queue just to have their box of donut! But since they had developed a lot of branches now, it is time to say goodbye to long queue!
Even though it was almost their closing time, we still had great donuts. We also ordered their frappe, then we were informed that we will be receiving additional free donut! Cool! Maybe they had a promo. Until now, we were still thinking why? Anyway thanks a lot! Will visit here again if we will be receiving free donuts! Haha Kidding.
J.CO is one of the best donuts and also my favorite hahahahaha…on this branch this is spacious! I have not experienced the long lines; compare to other branches that it will take you almost an hour just to buy donuts well sometimes more than an hour for the line itself. All of their staffs are friendly and accommodating, Oh yes very attentive too. What I really like here is that you can just enjoy the spacious are and relax having chitchats with your friends or with your family. There is one thing I don’t like; it’s very like not so cold area! Some part of their place is cold because of the air-conditioning position is there but most of the area I think you have to use pamaypay! Hahahahaha never the less their donuts are simply delicious, one thing I also like is that they have a lots of variety to choose from when it comes to flavor and filling of their donuts.Hopefully they can change the air-conditioning so it will be more cooler inside, because their ceiling is high and have a very huge area. I always am coming back here when I think of donuts its J.CO donuts lots of Love for this donuts.
If you don't see your favorite flavor of donut, don't hesitate to ask! I almost left because I saw that they don't have a Tiramisu. It's a good thing I asked. Also, this branch's crew are very, very accommodating! 😊

Compared to the Megamall branch, i like this better... I have never experienced super long queues here plus the people here are so warm and friendly. The store layout is anazing, gives customers a space to breathe and enjoy their donuts! One of My fave branch definitely!
Quaint little shop. Friendly service, excellent donuts...I'm not a Chocolate doughnut kind of gal but my friends and my Mum loved J.CO's Cocoa Loco. Al Capone and glazed doughnuts were pretty decent, but for me, the Why-Nut doughnut was the star of the show.
During pay days, there is literally a line out the door for these donuts. That might turn some people away, but trust me, the line moves quickly and the donuts are totally worth the wait.
These donuts are so incredibly delicious and the shop offers so many flavors, all of them... superb in taste! Coffee is also good and very reasonably-priced.
Sarap...love the diff flavors nun donuts dme to mapagpilian...un place is ok and comfy magtamby specially sa morning konti lng tao...must try nyo...
Sugar rush!
The girlfriend enjoys the donuts here as compared to the other diabetes-inducing counterparts out there. Slightly less sweet but still enough to cause migraines if you have one too many.
One thing this establishment has going for them is the relaxing ambiance. But this is in contrast to the long queue due to the nearby offices / BPO aiming to get their sugar fix.

J. Co. is known for their signature donuts. It's not too sweet, that's why I like it. It's always jam-packed. As usual you must first fall in line before you can order. I ordered their best seller "alcapone" and the other. Alcapone is made of cashew with milk. It's so yummy. :) The other flavors is also yummy especially the pink and brown one. It has a crunchy toppings.
I thought it’s just all sweets like krispy kreme but J.co is so delicious it’s very addicting. Now I really have to condition myself when I would eat this donut. Once I start eating it’s difficult to stop. I end up buying day after day, good thing I learn to distance myself from J.co and I already have determination to not eat this as often.
This donut is so delicious, try it at your own risk :p hehe
My rating for J.Co Eastwood:
Place: 4
Price: 3.5
Ambiance: 4
Food: 5
Service: 3.5
After taking our lunch at a nearby seafood restaurant, our family decided to buy donuts for our take home snack. The place was quite full because it was father's day. I liked the layout of the store as it had big ceilings and comfortable couches, however they were not able to maintain a nice temperature as it was quite warm. Maybe because the place was full. We ordered our usual selection of donuts (mostly oreology - my kids love this). We also decided to try their drinks. They had a promo that would entitle you to one free drink for every 2 doz donuts and some drinks come with a free glazzy donut. However if you dont ask for your freebie, the staff wont tell you about it. I had to ask the cashier about the free drink. Then after we claimed our drinks, I had to ask the barista for the free glazzy that was printed on the receipt. Taste wise I like their donuts as its soft and not too sweet. It doesnt harden when kept in the ref for a day or two. Their drinks were average, nothing really special. I would come back, maybe if its not a holiday I may stay and enjoy my donut and drink in one of their couches... hopefully next time I wont need to ask for my freebie..
It was good but they should fix the line for the payment for the doughnuts. They should give out like stubs so the people there wouldn't get confused. I recently visited the Eastwood branch last night and the line for the payment was messed up not really that messed up but I was confused.

My favorites : Alcapone, Oreology and Why nut!
But you'll have to wait 45mins. to 1 hour before you can take your order since the line is too long.
I love donuts and when I see a donut place with ridiculously long lines at its entrance each and every time I pass by then you can bet my donut curiosity has peaked to its absolute high. In this case, the one who seems to consistently draw in crowds of fried and glazed dough enthusiasts would be J.Co. I’ve never had J.Co Donuts before nor have I even heard of them until I came to the Philippines.
Now my usual go-to donuts places would be well known establishments like Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts. But I’m not one to pass over new contenders. So today my family and I decided to try their donuts and ONLY because we were at the branch in Eastwood and miraculously the line wasn’t a two hour wait, but rather a more practical 5 minutes. Although it didn’t take long until people started pouring in and another one of those “ridiculous” long lines had begun to form. Our timing was impeccable.
Upon seeing, tasting and trying out J.Co Donuts, here’s what I have concluded.
*WARNING: Very long, detailed, and passionate review about J.Co donuts. Only continue reading if you really care or like donuts just as much as I do.
1) We visited the J.Co branch in Eastwood and the atmosphere was very nice. The restaurant was pretty big for a donut place with high ceilings, plenty of seating, and warm lighting. They also had very comfortable leather chairs and booths, which makes for great donut-eating ambiance.
2) This is definitely NOT your ordinary donut stand, especially since they don’t have ordinary donuts. Sure they may have the traditional glaze or chocolate donut, but they don’t even call it that; more like “Glazzy” and “Black Jack”. While some of the names are indicative of what kind of donut it is, for example: Tiramisu, Heaven Berry or Cheese Me Up, there are more less obvious selections like the Mona Pisa, Jacky Chunk, or Alcapone. But don’t let the fancy names intimidate you and don’t be shy to ask what’s in the donut. Like I did…for every other donut I was like, “What kind of topping is that?” “What’s the filling in that one?” “What kind of ‘nut’ is in the Why Nut?” and my most disappointed question, “Do you have any Bavarian cream filled?” to which the answer was an unapologetic, “No.” So all you Boston crème, Long John, Éclair, and Bavarian donut lovers…you have been forewarned.
3) But despite the fancy and sometimes confusing donut names, there are several selections to choose from. I believe they have over 2 dozen varieties to try, but today we only tried 5 which included Heaven Berry, Crunchy Crunchy, Mr. Green Tea, Tiramisu, and Why Nut. The Why Nut would probably have to be the best out of all 5 flavors with its gooey vanilla glaze with chocolate stripes and a creamy peanut butter filling.
4) Pricing wasn’t bad either. It’s cheaper than Krispy Kreme’s assorted selection, but more than Dunkin Donut’s premium selection. It’s p42 each, but when you order a ½ dozen, a dozen or 2 dozens then the price per donut drops to about p38, p29, and p22 (which is pretty darn good and explains why several people usually buy by the dozens).
5) As per the donuts themselves, in comparison to other donuts I’ve had in the past (and I’ve had plenty), here’s how J.Co compares. First off, the donut texture was surprisingly soft and it’s probably due to the fact that these doughnuts are actually baked and not fried. They may be even too soft for some and trying to eat it with your bare hands is a messy disaster waiting to happen. Imagine a limp piece of fried yet chewy bread with globs of gooey icing and cream on it, if you will. That’s how I would describe eating a J.Co donut. This is definitely one donut that’s better and more conveniently eaten with a fork and a plate. When it comes to the unique flavors and fillings, I have two words to describe them: rich and sweet. The texture of the donut combined with the thickness of the glazes and creams make these donuts very rich. The flavor combinations of many are mainly on the sweet side which would easily qualify this donut as more of a dessert rather than a breakfast item. I would imagine eating J.Co donuts for breakfast would be comparable to eating a bowl of maple syrup. You’ll probably end up in a sugar coma before lunch.
Even though I may sound overly critical of J.Co, in retrospect, I DO like the place. It adds new charm to an old favorite and while I don’t see myself having their donuts at 8 o’clock in the morning nor waiting for more than 10 minutes for one, it’s still a great option for an afternoon snack or an after dinner indulgence and especially when the lines aren’t as long Manila traffic. Would I have waited in line for more than 1 hour for J.Co donuts? Most likely not, but the Donut gods were in my favor today so I’ll be back again to try more of their intriguingly decadent flavors.
It's taken me a while to sample J.Co's doughnuts, because I found the queues at all their branches rather discouraging.
Well, I finally braved the long post-dinner queue in Eastwood on a Saturday night, and I was rewarded with freshly made, soft, nicely textured donuts that aren't too sweet. Let me repeat that: they aren't cloyingly sweet the way that *other* brand is, which is why I only go for glazed donuts at the *other* joint that's the current rival for the public's affection.
J.Co's got 31 flavors and then some (ha ha ha, I couldn't resist saying that ) - and I'm set out to try all of them! My favorites at the moment are Alcapone, with the buttercream and crunchy toasted almonds, and Choco Caviar, with tiny spherical-shaped chocolate cereal-like balls which resemble Nestle Crunch. Texture - win. Flavor - WIN. Many recommend their two green tea flavors - mmm, okay. You'll find your favorites just as I found mine.
I feel just a little less guilty about eating these because they're baked instead of deep fried. And even though the Eastwood branch isn't the most relaxing place to eat at, the staff is polite, there's lots of space for everyone. Best of all, the brewed coffee is good - which I cannot say at all for the *other* place.
Oh, and this branch's the only 24-hour one. Just a friendly tip.
The ever famous J. Co Donuts & Coffee! I never fail to see a line of people waiting to get a taste of these sumptious donuts that only J. Co offer. Again, im not the type to follow food hypes but since i was able to chance upon a short queue, i gave it a chance. True to its reputation, J. Co is worth the wait. Almonds are my favourite. I have never thought that avocadoes would taste good in a donut but they are and you better try them out when you go to the nearest J.Co store in your area.
They are worth the wait but if there's just too many people in line better stroll around the mall first then go back in a while.
they have a wide variety of donuts with interesting names, the best deal here is to buy two dozens which will cost you 550 php, the coffee and other fruit drinks are nice, al Capone and drew berrymore are my favourites. Buying during weekends and pay days are hassle especially the trinoma branch you to fall in line fir two hours, you can order in advance if your buying 6 dozens or more
