It was a great experience at Bagoong Club Twin Lakes, It was my Dad's Birthday and his favorite is kare kare. I ordered for the Crispy Kare and it was a good choice for the family. Important is the experience for that special occasion. My commendation to the waitress. Good Service so keep it up.

We had the grilled tuna belly, sinigang na baboy na pinalapot sa gabi and chicharon bulaklak. The food was lovely - masarap po sila magtimpla ng sinigang. Definitely loved the meal. Kudos!
savor these delish dishes @bagoongclub , they also serve mouthwatering + affordable Fil foodangs that will endlessly make you drooool 😛
Budget: P600-P1,000 (for lovebirds) 😍 , P400 (for solo gamers) ✌✌ love the ambience and the food! Def worth the calories.
Our bakada stumble upon this slightly tago bar resto, but damn, thank God we did.
They have a live acoustic band that’s onto entertaining there guest and even letting them play—my boys have their band so I guess this one’s perfect.
Also, they have complementary dish—singkamas with bagoong in a very artsy manner, with every bucket of beer that we ordered.
Tokwa and sisig all the way!
Finally! I’ve seen Bagoong Club in Tagaytay before and I was surprised when I heard about their branch here in Q.C. We went here twice last month because we’re too excited to dine hehe. We ordered tinapa roll, bagoong club sisig and garlic chicken inasal. On our second visit, still the same because we loved our orders before but without the chicken and we just added lomi. They serve complimentary turnip with spicy and regular bagoong. Staffs were nice and service was fast. Would definitely dine again!
So far the best kinilaw I've ever tried. The bagoong is a bit oily but the taste is alright. Wasnt able to take photo of the kare kare but it was really good. You can also eat it without bagoong. Will definitely go back here
The food was really good, the servings are also big, we had the okoy, laing, BBQ, grilled pusit, chicken inasal, and seafood rice.
Would definitely recommend the chicken inasal, okoy, and laing. The wait for the food was a little bit long so I would recommend for you to get an appetizer.
The ambiance of the place was good as well. The music was a little bit loud though but since we were seated at the second floor it muffled a bit. (I'm not sure if the live music is a frequent thing though)
Overall I had a pleasant experience with my family. Would definitely come back :)
Not a fan of Filipino food especially bagoong. But after eating vegetarian Kare-kare and binagoongan in this restaurant, I somehow got addicted to it. Their kare-kare (whether vegetarian or not) is a must try! The sweet bagoong is also a must!
Filipino comfort food? Cravings will be attained when you visit Bagoong Club. Amongst hundred of restaurants in Timog, Bagoong Club stands out with anything they will serve to your table.
I remember Bagoong Club as being one of the first local restos introduced to me by a dear high-profile journalist friend during the early stages of my relocation to Manila after growing up abroad. And the experience left a lasting impression. We somehow went on a local food binge/ fun food trip and ordered for about 4-5 people for the two of us (Did I say food trip?). I most especially appreciated, apart from its seemingly generous portions, the taste, of course, each dish brought to our table: from Laing to the not-so-common dishes.I love how cosy the place is. The comfort food sank in at home when we packed the rest of what we couldn't finish. This wouldn't be my everyday place to go to though because I consider it perfect for special occasions. That's how I've come to see it. We had wine with us and it blended perfectly. Great service, too. Planning on my third visit.
I have been eating here a lot, because of their most healthiest Kare-kareng gulay, and until today, their dish is a big serving and never stops to savor my taste buds. I have no words, since not only their dishes are delicious, but also their place and atmosphere are magnificently well done, to the point it gives you the feeling of traditional Filipino-style cuisine. I would want to come back again. The price is right, the servings of dishes are great and worthwhile, and the place is great for get-togethers.
The ambiance is nice, as it would be good for company meetings, birthday, mother's day, and father's day dinners. They serve turnips as appetizers with bagoong. And true to its name, it does serve the best bagoong in town. Would definitely come back!
A meal after werk out!
1. Bulali- gigantic serving! Delectable!
2. Appetizer on the house- turnip with 2 kinds of bagoong (shrimp paste). Who wouldn't love this?!
3. Crispy shrimp with kamote fries- yuuuummmy! Just enpugh crispness. Not too oily and tasted like fresh shrimp except it was fried 😀
4. Laing- too sweet and salty.
Laing, calamares, crispy pork binagoongan, kare kare, sinigang taste all good. The servings are just on the medium size. The place is so cozy making it very comfortable to dine. The service is good too.
If you are looking for new concepts and at the same time it is in a familiar area, Tomas Morato strip should be your go to place. On its side streets especially are new names trying its luck on a very competitive industry. This Filipino restaurant stop, Bagoong Club can be found at Scout Dr. Lazcano Street near Sacred Heart.
Most of its dishes thrive on bagoong (fermented alamang) and they serve these in two kinds- sweet and the spicy kind. I like how they made Binagoongan and Kare Kare more flavorful with their own version of bagoong. The meats of these two dishes were also soft and tender.
My favorite offering however would be their unique take on Ubod. It was wrapped with eggplant torta style and inside it are fresh ubod (heart of the palm) with really good thick sweet sauce. And this one is only Php 180 and can be shared up to three people.
Other savory picks that is worth having would be their Inihaw na Pusit. It was cooked just right with it not being overly chewy. It was garnished with native chili, tomatoes and onions. I also liked the sour Sinampalukan soup and the tilapia filled, Monggo.
For desserts, Calamansi Pie was ran away favorite for its lingering sour taste of the local lemon. The Maja Mais Turon was most interesting. It had gooey maja inside a lumpia wrapper. We also had Creme Brulee (Leche Flan) but this one was just ordinary.
If you're craving for a Filipino comfort foods, this resto has a good selections to offer.. i loved their singkamas with bagoong as a complimentary while waiting for your food orders. Ambience is modern style but has a touch of being a makabayan.. i love the interiors and also in their comfort rooms..the sink is kawali and it is so cute and unique. Reasonable prices and friendly staff..
Craving for sweet or spicy bagoong? Then this is the place for you. Love the free singkamas with sweet and spicy bagoong. Had to order crispy binagoongan of course, and that so yummy adobong baby pusit. Anything bagoong we love, and surely will come back for more.
It's a good place to have lunch with the family or to satisfy your Filipino food cravings. The crispy pata was so-so, a bit too dry for me. But other than that, everything else was good.
First of, let me talk about their 7 types of bagoong. Their complimentary singkamas (turnip) comes with two types of bagoong: pag-ibig (sweet) and umaga (spicy). Then their kare-kare comes with the lipunan bagoong (basic). Plus I ordered the bagoong sampler which is Europa (basil), Asya (pandan), buhay (coconut milk) and special (crab fat). So I was able to taste all their types of bagoong.
The best bagoong is pag-ibig which is sweet but not too salty and spicy. Honestly, I'd like it better if it's spicier. But this bagoong takes the top spot.
The umaga is their spicy variant but I found it too salty just like how all their bagoong are for me. The lipunan is your normal bagoong, salty and not spicy & sweet. For the other four bagoong, I think lipunan is the base with some added ingredients. Europa is lipunan + basil and I found this the most interesting out of all the bagoong. Asya is lipunan + pandan and honestly I'm not that too much of a fan of this. Buhay is with coconut milk (gata) and I liked this one as I love gata! And special is with crab fat which I really can't taste the crab fat, maybe the saltiness of the bagoong overpowered it.
To rank the bagoong, I'd put pag-ibig first, then umaga, lipunan, Europa, buhay, Asya and special. But still my mom's bagoong (her specialty) is leagues above theirs, though their pag-ibig bagoong is close.
So now to their kare-kare, of course what better dish to pair the bagoong than kare-kare right? I ordered the traditional kare-kare (ox tail and tripe). I think this is the only way kare-kare should be and all those variants (crispy pata, seafood, lechon kawali kare-kare) are a blasphemy! Peace :) so yes their kare-kare was good but it's a bit on the sweet side for me, maybe they used peanut butter. Their kare-kare was better than most I've tried but not enough to be proclaimed the best kare-kare in town. I honestly think my mom's kare-kare was way better than theirs!
Another dish we ordered was the sisig. Nothing to say here.
Overall, it's a nice restaurant. The service was excellent and the staff are courteous. Plus they gave me an extra complimentary singkamas when I asked for more :)
Thank you so much for the perfect Tinapa Rice 🍚 and Laing! It smells good and tastes even better! (sounds familiar? 😉) if you ever need to prove why Filipino dishes are the best, bring them here!
Neatly tucked within the hustle and bustle of Quezon City, this house turned retaurant Bagoong Club specializes in Filipino comfort food, its no frills approach to home style cooking and generous "for sharing" portions have made it a hit. The restaurant in itself is casual, warm and welcoming, no wonder it has been frequented by media people and celebrities (aside from the fact its near the two major television stations). They make their own bagoong, and ędifferent flavors as well. The green mango spiked with chili powder, the singkamas paired with bagoong and the chicharon bulaklak made for good starters. We had the Kare-Kare with Crispy Pata, which was nicely done, the sauce was rich and flavorful, with a good amount of meat and vegetables though the trotter wasn't crunchy anymore which was quite a disappointment, but still good nonetheless. Service was efficient though not as top notch. I would be back here if I was in the area but given the really bad traffic around the Metro, just coming here to eat would be quite an effort.
This is my kind of restaurant - just real, honest, homey, good food. Sisig was unexpectedly good, the marinate / flavor itself was delicious and it combined crispy skin, liver, fat and meat. Our favorite is their Bulalong Monggo, really love the fact that it wasn't salty. Poqui poqui is also our favorite. Laing and fish sisig was ok. Kare kare seemed like well made but it might not suite the filipino's sweet taste buds.

Bagoong Club was one of the few hidden restaurants along the area of Tomas Morato. It was an old house converted to a restaurant that has different dining areas/room.
This wasn't my first visit, but from the name itself, its the clue that they specializes or cook their own bagoong, and at the same time a Filipino restaurant.
I remember my first time to be here (a few years ago) we ordered a bagoong sampler which was served with mangoes and jicama. (Pesto bagoong, sweet, spicy, i forgot the other 2) I remembered it clearly that it was unlimited jicama and mango sticks with that sampler.
Presently, we just had our dinner here again. So we got Crispy Hipon, Kare Kareng Gulay, and Binagoongan.
Crispy Hipon was their version of nilasing na hipon. Small, headless shrimps was fried to crisp together with sweet potato fries. It was good, well seasoned, crispy minus the spiky heads that can poke your mouth. It was served with seasoned Coco vinegar (if i'm not mistaken) that was fragrant. It was just a perfect appetizer. The sweet potato was the perfect balancer.
Kare Kareng Gulay was a 'meatless' version but with the same base. The kare kare sauce was fragrant and flavorful. It has strong hints of the roasted peanuts that gave it a nice hint of sweetness in the stock. The kare kare base was perfect to sauce up your rice. Thick, rich, and fragrant.
Krispy Binagoongan. The fried pork was crispy but becomes tough after a while. I prefer it that they cut in a bit bigger to prevent all sides being overcooked that becomes tough. The sauce was fantastic. Sweet aroma of reduced coconut milk with the bagoong gave it a rich flavor. The sauce was just minimal. I prefer it to have more sauce than what is served.
Bagoong club is part of my favorite Filipino restaurants in Manila. It has received numerous awards especially when they opened years ago.

We went here at around 9pm, few customers were there that time... the place was nice, its like an old house, with portraits and photos on walls... i thinks this place is good for gatherings... the food were also nice, we had the pork sisig, sinigang, grilled pork binagoongan and the crispy pata... im not really into pork but these food tastes good, even the sauce for crispy pata... staffs were also nice... over all its a nice place to eat with friends and the family...
Went here with my mother just before mothers's day. The place sure looks like a house converted to a restaurant and it looks a bit old, dim lights and wooden seats. but I found the place to be relaxing, as if I could stay there and read a book, there was also soft music playing.
The food was okay. I liked the Club Binagoongan special, it tasted like a different kind of binagoongan, seems to me that it has tomato sauce in it. It was good. I also liked the fact that they serve singkamas sticks with two kinds of bagoong dip.
We also ordered sinuglaw(raw tuna and grilled liempo) but I didn't like the tuna. it was a bit off, maybe it wasn't fresh.
For me this is a good place to chill with your family or your partner. It's quiet an not usually packed. A good "tambayan" since they also serve cakes.
Food taste great but the place really need a major refurbishment, it looks gloomy and unattractive. Despite aplenty celebrities' photos hanging on the wall, they still can't liven up its ambiance!
I loved their pusit with bopis, the squid is fresh and tender, it's very tasty plus a tad of spiciness, perfect! Except for the pork sinigang where the meat was kind of tough and radish not too fresh, everything's A-ok.
Food was great. We ordered garlic bangus, kuhol and their chicharon bulaklak was crunchy. I highly recomend you try them. Their accent though was a little dark. Could work on putting white lights to brighten up the place.

The boyfie and I went here just to have breakfast and their bangus tastes so good! We love it! All the hassle that we've been through just to find the place is worth it ❤️
We just curious about this store, I found out about this place on TV, I told this to my friends and so we decided to dine here, I can say some of their dishes are good. I loved their crispy pork binagoongan. A very affordable price and tasty. You need to eat their ulam with rice, because it is too tasty, but I found it a little bit salty, so you really have to eat them with plain rice. What can I say a very good interior and ambience very homey, since it’s a home before it was transform it into a restaurant. They have a few staff, so be patience, a very slow service. I would say a very great place to hang out with family and or with friends, because their ambience is very homey, a very great place to catch up with your friends or with your relatives. So I suggest you try to dine here, Will I ever go back here? Yes I will go back here with my family, very nice and relaxing place to have dinner. I want to try their other dishes on the menu so I definitely going back here
Finally, excited to have my first review 😄👍
Been reading nice reviews about this Bagoong menus😄😄 and kudos the food is great👍👍👍
Ordered the ff😄
Sinigang na salmon--👍👍👍 asim at its best
Laing rice with galungong flakes--😘😘
Binagoongan baboy--😘😘 meat is tender and the bagoong tasted superb👍
Will definitely come back and try their other blockbuster specialties🎉🎉🎉
When you see a "Rice to Sawa" on the menu and it's priced for only P45, you know you're in the right place. We had a hard time finding this place and when we got there the place was packed. A lot of customers but it's a good thing we got seated right away. We ordered the Ginataang Hubad na Kuhol, the Balut Adobo, Chicharon Bulaklak, and the Inihaw na Pusit na Binusog sa Bopis. Food was really tasty and affordable and we'll be sure to come back to try the other stuff on their menu.
A bit of tip, order the plain rice. Less umay factor since all their ulam are tasty enough, you'll need something to neutralize and blend in with all the flavors.
When you get in, you wouldn't want to leave anymore because of its beautiful interior design. When it comes to food, I always have this combo: Binagoongang Baboy Mismo + Binagoongan rice. Yes, bagoong over bagoong. Do you think that it's too salty? No. Try it and you be the judge. :)

Been craving for Bagoong club for maybe about two weeks. Decided to eat there finally :D
Arrived there about five minutes earlier than 6pm so we had to wait for it to open :) The guard was friendly and allowed us to park (in a good spot) and said it would open in a few.
Anyway:
Ambiance: Nice home-y interiors (was a house converted to a resto, I suppose?).
Service: Really fast. Even if they just opened, they apparently had a private function with a huge family. Even so, with only two servers around, we were seated, given menus, our queries regarding certain food items answered, and our orders were taken in a jiff. We were also handed iced water even if we didn't ask for it. (Take-out kasi. Some establishments don't bother handing you water to drink if you're buying to-go.)
Food: The serving of their ligawan or small-sized meals were literally just good enough for two. A bit price-y for the size but if you eat there kasi, you're also paying for the place and the service. So okay naman. We had:
Bagoong rice: more than enough for two. Wish it had green mangoes though :) if it had, it wasn't much :)
Bulalo sa munggo: Sadly, our choice of munggo with tinapa wasn't available. But we had munggo with bulalo and it was still yummy. It was mostly munggo, with only one piece of bulalo, which was fine with us seeing as it was under the soup(?) category and we bought it for the munggo anyway :)
Crispy Ensalada: I don't eat itlog na maalat but ate it with the ensalada. The saltiness of the egg went well with the rest, plus it had crispy pork chicharon :)
Binagoongang Baboy Mismo: two adequately-sized liempo with bagoong. Not too salty. Wish we had more of the green mangoes though :)
Feels at home. When we ate here (weekday lunch), the service is very slow even, considering the people is not that packed. Their service crew is very limited.
Food is good, love their kare kare especially their bagoong, of course.
A few years ago, I was driving around Tomas Morato and saw this place. I was super curious so I invited a friend to join me and try this place out. I love the interior, feels really cozy but lighting was a bit too dim for me. I enjoyed everything I ordered (bagoong rice, ensalada and grilled chicken). I do think for the price, it could have been better. Nonetheless, still a place I'd go back to.
This unique resto boost of Filipino Dishes and with a twist of Bagoong, the ambiance is so homey and service and products are great..must try for families.
free appetizer! i've always loved their ambiance..... their place in white plains is more recommended for small events, more cozy and more private ?

Got lost before my team and I found Bagoong Club but it was worth the crazy drive. I immediately went back the night after. The bulalo/monggo is to die for. I'd probably be able to finish an entire bowl by myself. Their desserts (pastillas cake and brazo) were really good too!
I've been here several times during family gatherings, it's a very good filipino restaurant to eat with a bunch of people. I have to say that the food is really delicious, I like almost every dish they serve. The place is always packed with people, the service is pretty bad, several occasions that when you eat a dish or two your drink isn't served yet. They're always busy but must speed up service and also this place has no WiFi which is pretty bad but overall I love the fold and would go back anytime for sure.
Thumbs up for their pinakbet pate with talong chips, bulalo sa monggo, kare kare and garlic inasal chicken. We also had seafood and bagoong rice and are both delicious. We will surely be back.
Definitely a great place to dine if you're looking for Filipino dishes. The appetizers consisting of turnip with sweet and salty bagoong is great. So is the binagoongan of course. Only downside is that it's quite pricey for some of the dishes which have small servings. Be sure to choose, and also do try their kare kare which is a bit different from the usual.
If you're a bagoong lover, you must really try this resto. It has variety of foods that has bagoong. Very tasty! Yun yum! This is one of my favorite resto! I love all their dishes. Pork binagoongan, garlic chicken, sisig etc. well not all has bagoong, and if you want to partner your bagoong dish with a non-bagoong dish, they also have a lot in the list, and with great taste also of coarse! Very unique resto ;) plus, this is a very popular resto and many artists do come and eat here :) and i almost forgot, i also love the appertizer they serve, turnip slices plus 2 kinds of bagoong!:) yum yum! I always ask for another set! Lol!
