The food in this place is so reliable! I bring my guests here all the time. And for solo eating, I take out a whole Margherita pizza. Even during the pandemic, their employee's level of service is consistent. They're friendly and attentive. The menu is diverse without being too lengthy. Props for quality and aesthetics!
My new fave resto! Super yummy food and accomodating staff. Everything was fresh! Will definitely dine here again.
Really nice place to unwind. Instagrammable interiors. Great-tasting food (esp. the smoked bangus dish) but our orders took a while to be served. Will be back to try the other dishes.
It’s my second time here. I love how fresh the food is. When I visited for the first time, I had their pesto pasta which was perfect! Hands down the best pesto pasta I’ve ever had. This time I had their greek salad which is okay. Kind of bland for me so I had to ask for salt and pepper. I love how fresh the veggies are but I dont like the way they choose to cut in diced pieces. I wish they cut the veggies in larger bite size pieces. The complimentary bread is always nice and warm, crusty and soft at the same time. The place is cozy and I love the interior design. I wish they also serve warm baked goods to go with their coffee. Will definitely try other dishes next time.
Love the food and vibes. We love the sisig pizza, amatriciana, carbonara, and kimchi rice. The kimchi rice has a mild spicyness but so good. The sisig pizza is 👌. Both amatriciana and carbonara cooked into perfection. It will depend whether you like the white or red sauce. We also got the buttermilk chicken, margherita, farmer's salad, and caesar salad. Ubos naman lahat.
The staff are accommodating to my requests. They gave us the only round table fit for 10 pax but we fitted 12 pax there.
con: limited parking
ambriance feel nice and simple. It feel like you are inside a cabin.
Prologue has been my go-to place whenever I want either a glass of Wine while watching the live kitchen which you can see if you are seated at the inner sala of the resto.
The moment you enter the resto, you will be welcomed by their selection of pastries and cakes. And as you enter the cafe, an artsy vintage ambiance will welcome you.
Whenever I do not drink wine, I usually order their Four Cheese Pizza or Cafe Mocha.
For the Cafe Mocha, its best if you mix it well so that you get to enjoy the rich chocolate that usually goes at the bottom of the cup. While the Four Cheese Pizza, of course its best to be enjoyed while its hot because its really cheesy and at the same time its brick oven so you are getting some tangy taste.
Overall, if there is something I could say, this restaurant is one of the most underrated ones that I have been too -- very humble and yet the food is worth its value and the quality is good.
Super yummy food. Only downside was the servers - very friendly but frustrating because they didn’t know everything in their menu.
Had lunch with the partner. The place is another home renovated into a restaurant. Interiors are very nice. We ordered the Buttermilk Chicken and Squash Risotto. Food came with complementary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip. Food was served hot. Taste was good. Service was very good. Parking is available. Price is on the high side.
A good cafe slash resto in the Tomas Morato neighborhood which I think is perfect for gatherings with friends. Interiors were modern and cozy, more for the yuppie to titas crowd 😆 Wifi was free and fast so 👏🏽 for that. Service was superb even when the had some maybe 10-15 table capacity, or more even, as they had a second floor for more seating capacity.
I tried their Kintamani Peaberry Cold Brew for around 150 and it did not disappoint. It had the good hint of fruity in it, refreshingly good with a strong kick of caffeine in it.
For dinner I got the Homemade Sausage Tagliatelle, i think I can give it a 3.5-4/5. It was a big serving and it was yummy but got cloying after a few bites, so try to share it. Still appreciate it though.
They serve complimentary bread with the usual olive oil and vinaigrette, similar to Itallianni’s. Think the bread lacked salt lol
Overall still a 4/5 for me, will like to go back, bring a book with me and sip the afternoon away
Food is excellent, everything was flavourful and well seasoned. Would definitely recommend the meal platter — meats are cooked very well and are super tender. Drink menu is exquisite, lots of choices and by far everything I’ve tried was super refreshing. Service is commendable, waiters and waitresses are all very friendly and accommodating plus they attend to your needs quickly. Ambiance is beautiful and comfortable. Overall, I’d definitely recommend if you’d want a nice meal to yourself or shared with others.
Yummy food and servings are big. The ambiance and service is great too. We love the complimentary fresh bread. And the matcha cake is the bomb 😍
Had breakfast at Prologue since have heard good reviews about it. Had their kimchi rice and their breakfast plate. Both come with free refillable coffee. Food is goood! Though i wish they drained the oil more from the ham and the sausage as they were drenched in pil. Bread was toasted perfectly. Bery nice well lit place with ample parking.
Baby friendly restaurant. It smells good. Not noisy. High ceiling modern barn style.

There are friendships that hold firm despite the distance or the dearth in time spent together in the past year. There are people with whom you will always feel at ease and every meeting is a welcome rediscovery of what made you friends to begin with. Holding get-togethers with these kinds of friends in a charming and comfortable venue provides a special backdrop for fun ribbing, meaningful conversations and new happy memories.
Loved this place! My Machiato was great with an excellent freshly baked bread complimentary with olive oil/balsamic.
Our Beef Rendang had high quality braised beef in yummy rendang sauce with a medley of veggies and coconut rice. Smoked Bangus Chili Tagliatelle was one of the best pastas we've had in a while! Smothered with great tasting smoked Bangus sauce. Yummy!
The food was exquisite. Everything was very well presented and flavorful. A refreshing option in the morato area.
Superb Fluffy Japanese Pancake!! This should definitely be on your must-try list at Prologue. Love it😍
Tried out Prologue with my friend. I suggest coming in a bit early because therr is very limited parking space.
Order 1: Shiitake mushroom risotto with crispy bacon - definitely a must try! The veggies really go along wity the truffle-flavored risotto. They're actually really generous with the shiitake mushrooms, which is an A+ for me. The bacon adds smokiness to the truffle also para it doesn't give out such a rich flavor.
Order 2: Sisig pizza - not really my type. It's supposed to come with mayo (but i had it removed cos i hate mayo). My friend says it tastes better with the mayo sauce on it, which is sad cos the flavors only come out when you put mayo :--( my reco is to try something else, but order this if you're feeling experimental and wanna see how sisig tastes like without rice HAHA
This resto is perfect for titahan and dates LOL it's a bit on the pricey side, but their servings are worth it. ✨
The food was very good here! Specifically the farmers salad, Margherita pizza, carbonara, pepperoni pizza, and wagyu!
The pizza crust was so good, crunchy and tasty because of their oven, I presume!
Wait staff was attentive however they did have some logistical problems here and there but they are still on soft opening, so this could be improved upon.
Went here on a Sunday lunch, and it was pretty busy, this being the hottest new restaurant in the fanci-fying Tomas morato food scene. Parking can be a bit hard, with limited slots and the street parking not being very available. Inside, the place looks very nice, you can see that a lot of money went into this place, everything looks top notch.
For the food itself, we had a couple of things: the fried polenta, farmer's salad, french onion soup, the duck ragout, squash risotto, the lamb shank and the beef rendang.
My favorite items would have to be the polenta and the duck pappardelle. The fried polenta came with a truffle mayo that tasted quite nice, and you can taste a nice parmesan flavor in the crisp outside layer. The duck pappardelle had a nice flavor, the pasta was cooked well, though the sauce was a little acidic.
The farmer's salad was just fine, not the biggest for its price but decent. Their french onion soup is pretty pricey at 330, it's much more intense than other french onion soups you may be used to, and could use some more cheese. But overall it's good, plenty of deeply cooked onions, but may be a bit strong for some.
The squash risotto was just okay, the rice was cooked well, but it lacked a distinct squash flavor. Like it was more risotto with squash in it than a totally squash flavored risotto. The lamb and the beef rendang were good, but they were pretty much exactly what you were expecting, nothing that would surprise you. The price tag for the lamb is pretty high at 1050 or so, but it's good for sharing between 2-3 people.
There's definitely a lot more to try here, and I'd wanna go back. This is one of the more upscale places in the Tomas morato area, so budget accordingly
Perfect. The food was flavorful and served with love. The pizza was doughy yet soft, the pasta had the right firmness, the servers were polite. The polenta was also piping hot and really had a lot of texture. BUUUT my experience with the green pasta as pictured ( forgot the name, I think arugula pasta?) is not to be repeated. It just didn’t suit my palate despite my love for veggies. It felt like eating green slightly bitter goo.
Good Food
with Great Service
I almost don't want to share because of what a find it is, but the rest must know of this restaurant.
Prologue is a newly opened restaurant along sct. Gandia located behind Mario's restaurant. More and more restaurants are popping now a days with themes of old refurbished home turning into restaurants and Prologue is one of them. They're still in their soft opening, but the place was already full, so full that if you didn't have a reservation, you'd have to loom for other places to eat, so word to the wise, get a reservation before going here. The place was rustic and similar to wildflour's design.
The staff was very courteous and accomodating to their guests.
Ok straight down to food. They offer a welcome bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar as starters, which were home made. We ordered the duck ragu papardelle and homemade sausage tagliatelle. I love their pasta, it was aldente and you'd recognize that it was home made and not the store bought kind. The sauce was good, although my companions were not that so keen on it. It was sublime for me, just the right amount of acidity, although the duckmeat itself, was a bit meh.
We also ordered their sisig pasta and frutti di mare. The pizza dough was spot on, also home made. They have this big fire oven for their pizzas and bread, which gave the pizza crust the right amount of caramelization. I would recommend the frutti de mare over the sisig though. The sisig pizza had more chewy toppings, but was still good none the less. We also ordered their smoked bangus sisig (no pic), probably wouldnt recommend this because the serving is a bit small for me.
Over all, we paid around 2100++, not bad, for the quality of food we ate. If wildflour is far or a bit pricey for you, then I suggest this place instead, its the wildflour version of QC. I would definitely recommend and come back here.
We tried prologue for dinner. A place where quantity meets quality.
Ambiance: Cozy, modern and sophisticated
Parking space available ✅
🍴Food: Good for sharing
•Buttermilk Fried Chicken 🍗 served with gravy and potato wedges - crunchy, juicy and tasty.

**Parmesan cheese available upon request 😍
Price: Affordable! We spent at about P1000~P1100
Service: Superb! Accommodating staff🤗

Prologue, Tomas Morato 🇵🇭
@prologue.ph
Recommended: YES ❤️
Price: Similar prices to other Tomas Morato restos, so expect to spend ~PHP 300-500 per dish
Parking: There's available parking but it gets full pretty fast!
I heard Prologue's Berry Soufflé Pancakes were finally available all-day round so I excitedly ran over to try them out ❤️ I wasn't the only one - pretty much all the other tables surrounding mine was eating the same thing 😅 But what a divine treat it was, so soft and fluffyyyy! To pair with the pancake, we got the Hiro Blend Americano

The food was excellent! We LOVED everything. My parents are super picky eaters (especially when it's non-chinese food), actually commented on how good the food was. Score!
What we ordered:
1. Creamy mushroom soup: really good! Creamy and you can really taste the mushroom
2. Creamy pumpkin soup: super good also! I liked how there were hints of curry / certain spices which really elevated the flavor
3. Buttermilk Fried chicken: you get 4 pcs, and the chicken skin was so sinfully good. The chicken itself was tender and flavorful, even without the skin
4. Amatruciana: I'm not normally a fan of red sauce, but this was just excellent. The noodles were springy and the flavor was just right
5. Sisig pizza: the crust was soft, chewy and really really yummy! Walang natira sa table namin! I loved the sisig also - but the table was divided on this one. Oh well, you can check out the other pizzas if you aren't a fan. They're all baked in their brick oven so the crust is just heavenly
6. Iberico rack: this was good but not wow for me. It was pretty expensive, so I probably won't order this again in the future
Overall, it was an excellent experience and I'll definitely be back!
We had dinner here last night with a good friend. We ordered the following:
1. Buttermilk chicken - crunchy, generous serving but a bit salty, also check properly if chicken is cooked. Got 1 chicken with a little blood on the meat tho, overall, tasty and freshly prepared.
2. Arancini - generous serving for an apetizer, delicious!
3. Fried polentas - generous serving, but abit salty
4. Amatriciana - generous serving, fresh pasta, well seasoned
5. Carbonara - legit carbonara, fresh pasta, well seasoned
6. 4 cheese pizza - prepared on the spot. Has this crunchy texture coz it was cooked in a bricked oven. 😍
6.Iced tea - freshly brewed
7. Iced latte - yummy
8. Cookie - we got this a a complimentary, if you have a single receipt of 1,000 pesos you get 1 cookie, the cookie is big enough for sharing. We got the chocolate seasalt cookie. Yummers!
Staff and everyone are nice to us, they are efficient in granting our requests, etc. We have a new place to hang out with friends! We will be definitely be back, Abangan! 😂😉❤️
Soft opening when we dine here.
Nice place, attentive servers, good food.
Farmer salad serving size is small but taste is good.
Pizza a bit salty.
Chicken really tender
Beef Rendang is good.
4.5
Prologue? Yep. Prologue to an amazing dining experience.
The location, ambience, music. Perfect. (There were Taylor Swift songs, soooo.. yes!)
Upon seeing the menu, we wanted to try everything.
They gave us complimentary bread which was baked in the restaurant. We liked it.
For appetizers, we ordered the arancini and fried tripe. They were really good. They had different kinds of soup so we ordered pumpkin and tomato.
The pumpkin soup was creamy and had sort of a hint of curry and the tomato soup was creamy and tangy and they were yummmm!
We were really confused on what main dishes to order so we decided on the beef rendang and duck ragu papardelle. We finished everything.
Everyone was so nice and attentive. They made sure everything was ok and there were no problems.
The only downside? They still didn’t have dessert on the menu. They bake their own cookies though. So, we tried the chocolate valrhona one and it did not disappoint.
We will surely come back and try everything.
