hahaha, i've never had this much beef in my life (in a burger patty, that is)...the modern industrial design surprisingly gives a homey feel...
I went there today to try their soft shell crab burger, given that this offering is only until today. First thing I noticed is that their menu has changed from before. I seem to like the old menu better. Their burgers seem a bit smaller now, but the taste is still great. The soft shell crab burger was satisfying! The bits of mangoes go well with the sauce and the taste of the crab. However, if you're the type of person who doesn't like the fresh seafood taste, this may not be for you because the taste of the crab is quite strong. Their famous onion rings are still crunchy and yummy, but it seem to have a thinner batter than before.
One if not the best onion rings in town! Try it on its own or with your burger. So far, i keep going back just for the onion rings. Worth your money!
We ordered the following at P88:
3 oreo milk shake
4 Q-daddy
Despite the long line and the long wait, we were satisfied.
I just hope that the staff will be more organized next time. They can have more crew in the kitchen to simultaneously cook the food they are offering for faster service, to accommodate more orders and to make many people happier ;)
Thank you 8 Cuts for your generosity!
Been here a couple of times and visited their other branches as well. And I am sure that it is definitely one of the best burgers in town! Their patties are so tender and oh so juicy! Very mouthwatering! #burgerjunkie 🍔
8 cuts burger blend, Up town center
Tried The Q dady for 285, The piggy for 245, The price summarized it's taste. It's super worth it. You love it until the last bite, I'm a fan of burgers 🍔
Ps: Place is cool and photogenic 📷
If you get there at opening on a Sunday, be patient. Especially if you're just getting onion rings to go. The guys in the kitchen are just getting their groove on (reallllllllllllyyyy slowly), and somehow in order to get your bill after waiting for your rings for 20 minutes, you have to stand by the till to get the wait staff's attention. The hot onion rings were still worth it, though.

If you've been reading my blog for awhile, then you probably know my affinity for burgers. In a country filled with rice meals, I often find myself on the lookout for the most delicious beef patty (sometimes two or three) slapped between two soft buns. I'm always intrigued when a new burger shop pops up and it becomes imperative for me to try it.
Got my usual plain cheeseburger fix plus the nachos with artichoke dip which were both OK. Wife had the falafel burger which somewhat disappointed her (nothing like a real Middle Eastern restaurant to serve you this). I was also slightly disappointed at their burger bun which at that time, was a bit crumbly. Service as usual was A-OK.
Nice interior, very accommodating staff! I ordered the piggy and it tasted great!!! Combination of beef and bacon? Spectacular!!! 😋😋😋 It's a bit pricey, but worth it! 👌🏼
Great place to hang out with friends!!!
I've eaten at Burger Bar before (the parent restaurant) and found their burgers unique in the sense that each of their patties tastes different than the rest.
8 cuts is no exception. I ordered the Piggy (because Bacon!!) and a side of fries and onion rings (because you can't have too many sides). They were all worth it.
The fries are skinny, so you can gobble four or five at a time, and the onion rings are crispy and complement the taste of the burger so well, you'd want to just put them in the burger.
The burger itself was amazing. Crispy smoked bacon adorning a savory beef patty. So much win.
Been here a few times together with 8cuts in Megamall. I would say I had the same experience with both branches.
Super accomodating and friendly servers.
Fast service, great quality of food.
Although I haven't tried their burgers yet, I highly recommend the onion rings for starters and the creamy shrooms spaghetti for the main course :)
Ordered:The Franch, Truffle fries, Onion rings
The Franch:
Serving Size: Good sizing
Quality: Above average- Buns were toasted well. Meat was fresh. Burger overall was not greasy.
Truffle fries:
Serving size: small quantity
Quality: Average- Powdered parmesan (instead of freshly grated...
We discovered the place after my friend Julie has broken up with her Bf.. lol! After then, it has been our place to hang out and chill.. we love the onion rings.. we order a lot of it plus the very polite staff like Darren.. this place deserves a 5 stars rating.. 😊
still is my go to place if im craving for burgers , my fave is the Boss , steak cut with everything on it , topped with bleu cheese, while my daughter tried the chicken bang wich , which she said was so spicy and good . Must try their delectable onion rings .. love it !!! comfort food indeed ..
There's a happy hour between 3-6pm! Husband and I got the no. 3 burger (1/4th lb patty) with fries and iced tea for PHP 250
The burger is good, the bread is fresh, soft and fluffy. The secret sauce though is like 1 tbsp thinly smeared on top of the patty.
To be honest, the menu is too overwhelming, the customizable part, and we didn't have time to break it all down. I just wanted to give my love a last meal of his choice before he got all four wisdom teeth taken out, and this is what he chose hahahaha
Burger joints have been popping out of every corner of the metro recently and those who stand out have their own gimmicks. And in the battle of burger customization one particular joint is making it's mark. 8 cuts burger stands out not only because you can customize the your burger by adding toppings or by using a different bread, you can also customize the patty flavor by choosing the cut of your meat, take note fat percentage plays a role in the flavor of the patty. 8 cuts ranks close to #1 in flavor category and a solid #1 in the experience category by allowing customers to play with the fat percentage of their patty.
The major deal breaker for 8 cuts comes in the value for money category, as the saying goes you get what you pay for , the burgers here don't come cheap, same thing goes for the starters and sides( 220 pesos for cream dory and fries).
In the battle for burger supremacy 8 cuts is one to watch out for , for burger fanatics like me I suggest you check the place out.
My family and I, specially our bunso LOVES to eat at 8 CUTS BURGER and BLENDS...❤👍
We LOVE the juiciness and real meat taste of their Burgers.. their shakes and other blends are superb too! and their BEST SELLER ONION RINGS!😊
We ordered Mozzarella sticks,Double Cheeseburger and Four Cheese. The Mozza stick has two kinds of cheese inside and it was gooey and tasty with the herbs used for the crust however the size was small for me given the price which is 255 (although it is somehow understandable because of the quality). For the Four Cheese,it was so delicious and unique in the sense that it is not simply Four Cheese since your palate will taste each cheese and the cheesy combination of all (added with a hint of garlic aioli which made it even better). Our orders didn't take long and the ambiance is simple but entertaining. The only thing that irked me is the lack of a working air conditioning since it was hot and my friend and I chose a spot where there is electric fan.
Wqs our first time. Food was excellent, but more than that, service provided by the staff especially by Ms. Jana was superb 😊 we will definitely comeback here.
The P230/P250 "happy hour" deal at 8 Cuts works for me. For P250, you get a cheddar cheeseburger quarter pounder with skinny fries and a tall glass of iced tea.
I was wary of their mayo-ed burgers because of my last experience at 8 Cuts Trinoma, so I requested they put their sauce "No.3" on the side. It was fine!
While well done, the burger was highly seasoned and peppery, which went very well with the cut of meat. No complaints.
When you're craving for a great burger, 8 cuts won't fail to deliver. My personal favorite is the mushroom burger while mr piggy comes 2nd. Have chili cheese Cris cut fries and beer then you're solved !!! Great stuff, good job on this branch. -0.5 cause it's a liiiittle pricey hehe
Its our 1st time to eat at 8 cuts burger,at 1st impression we knew price is higher compare to other burger resto, but we give it a try at the same time they have promos cheeseburger with icetea and fries for 250pesos plus SC.the burger tasted great, the fattys is 100% pure beef.service is ok.the place is hot maybe airconditioning is not working well overall great experience👍👍👍
[This is the repost of a review I did as I created a new Zomato handle for consistency in line with my new blog.]
I met up with a friend who I hadn't seen in a long time here for lunch so that we could catch up on each other's lives before hanging out with another friend through the day. This is not my first time in 8 Cuts, so I had an idea of what I wanted to order. The staff in the place were quite attentive, so we got our orders taken rather quickly and served water that was graciously refilled when asked.
For our orders, my friend got the Lamb Burger and sweet potato fries while I got the Rising Shroom with extra crispy bacon. The fries were served first (assuming as something of an appetizer) and I admit that they were quite good and not overly greasy as some fries may be, while still being quite flavorful. When we received our respective burgers, I felt so happy with how crispy the bacon was, how tasty the mushrooms were and how it all worked so well together with the juicy and rather awesome burger meat.
The combination of the sweet potato fries and the burger I got served as a lovely lunch with contrasting flavors that allowed for me to continue eating my burger while cutting any possible (though probably minimal) "umay" with the sweetness from the fries.
Was I satisfied at the end of the meal? Definitely. But what was more surprising to me was my friend's Lamb Burger. She allowed me to take a bite of it, and I was shocked to find that the cucumber, lamb and creamy feta cheese went extraordinarily well-together. And I will admit that I'm the kind of person that would usually avoid cucumber like the plague, but this time around, I will make an exception with how refreshing the taste was after the strength of the lamb patty's flavor.
Overall, I would say that the experience with 8 Cuts was definitely outstanding, and would return for a hang-out, date or whatever sometime soon. ^^
We spotted 8 Cuts Burger Blends at U.P. Town Center in Quezon City with a good size crowd. Their customer base was mostly students and young adults with the exception of some families on their bonding moments. The place with its high ceilings, tubes and pipes exposed, seemed to project an unpretentious character.
After checking the menu, we decided to grab the remaining couple of seats and ordered their bestselling Classic Burger just to satisfy our curiosity and for our initial taste-test. The burger was a single quarter-pounder house blend all-beef patty with sauce no.3 (their original house dressing), on a sesame seed bun. We paired it with their crispy skinny french fries. We were told that the patty is a blend of Short Rib and Ribeye which they described as the juiciest blend because of its higher fat-to-meat ratio. And we believe they delivered as advertised. The meat tasted good even without adding any empowering flavors from garnishments and condiments.
We found the service to be prompt and the price above average.
What I liked:
Fast, efficient service-- our orders plus drinks were served within less than 10 minutes, even though the place was pretty packed and there were only about four staff members present (exluding the folks cooking). I also like the fact that the condiments and utensils were already at the table. Hence, basically all the stuff I needed to eat was there, without having to ask for them.
What can be improved on:
Burger patty was OILY and a bit salty. Don't know if this should be something to be happy about--is it "the juicier, the better" for burgers?--my arteries definitely aren't.
Oh, and it's quite pricey here, too.
"World's Tastiest Burgers" indeed! Their burgers were mouthwatering. You could really taste the juices of the meat oozing out. We ordered The Piggy, Q-Daddy, and then onion rings and skinny fries. I liked the fries, but you have to eat it fast because it loses its crispiness since it's very thin. I'm not a fan of onion rings but this one got to me! Fast service and friendly crew.
I love their Q'daddy. Milkshake is too thick and they don't have much varieties for their drinks. Their sweet potato fries are really good. Also love their onion rings.
Not my first time to visit this branch, but it was my first time to encounter Dan, their manager... I mention this because he is soooooo nice!🙌🏻 I just really appreciated it as he was so hands on and he really helped out the crew. He made suggestions as to what to eat, in a very smooth way (not pushy!)... I saw him handle a difficult customer (not me, LOL) very well while we were in the restaurant. I wish all restaurants have a manager like that!👍🏻
So I tried the cheeseburger with no 3 sauce, for the first time!😃 I enjoyed it! Sometimes it's really nice to unclutter the burger (LOL, wrong restaurant)! The minimal ingredients highlighted how juicy the patty truly was... Of course, the onion rings are always a must! 😍
I found it really nice to see someone striving to do well in his job. That's service for you! Made the visit memorable👍🏻
Still the best 8 cuts branch for me!
Was recommended to check this place out. It's got a cool vibe as you enter the place. The music being piped-in though was a little too loud for comfort.
I ordered the No. 4 Cheeseburger, and the reason being is I wanted to taste and highlight their burger patty. I hope this was a one time thing but whoever was grilling my patties (yes i even ordered an xtra patty) was awfully heavy-handed with the salt-shaker. Since this was an irreversible situation, good thing I had a bottomless Arnold Palmer which was more of lemonade if you ask me. The skinny fries with cheese and bacon were pretty good. While I my order of sweet potato fries wouldve been better if it had more than just 25 fries for the whole order! lol! The experience was ok but I dont see myself coming back anytime soon. I rarely crave for a burger and If i do i have my go-to burger joints.
There was a circulating ad on Facebook that 8 Cuts branches were giving a free bucket of Oh Rings when you purchase a burger that is part of their Birthday Menu. Being a fan of Onion Rings, we went and tried it.
I loved their Onion Rings, it is by far the best I have tasted. But what I did not like about it was it was too oily.
I had the Bacon Mushroom burger, I'm not sure of the name though. It was delicious and juicy. I'm not a fan of burgers but I liked their burger.
I had a great first experience at 8 Cuts and I will definitely come back for their onion rings.
We ordered the four cheese burger and the sloppy J burger, and shared skinny fries with bacon and cheese.
The meal was great, though the four cheese sort of reminded me of BK's four cheese, with fried mozzarella cheese as one of their cheese.
I think it's also a good choice to just mix and match because they can customized their burger.
Service was great, staff was friendly.
If you love burgers, then this place is for you. Also their refreshments, it goes well with the meal. Generally, the place is scrumptious. One of the things I like most in this place is the service, it's fast. The people are attentive and polite.
My sister and I tagged along when my parents had dinner with their friends at 8 cuts.
8 cuts is the go to place for burgers whenever you're in the area. Their burgers are juicy, flavorful and awesome.
My personal favorite is the Bleu Burger which has bleu cheese bits inside that makes it oh so yummy! I also like their skinny fries/ criscross fries and onion rings.. their chicken fingers are also good.
My dad liked the Q-daddy which means its really good cause he doesn't like burgers that much. The Piggy burger is for you if you love bacon!
They have different burger patty blends so you can customize your own burger to your taste buds or just pick one of their signature burgers which are also good!
Their burgers are a great pair with their signatura Milkshakes! I like the snickerdoodle milkshake but the salted caramel milkshake was meh.
Can't wait to try their other burgers next time!
After several visits, my favorite is now the cheeseburger number 3. The sauce is a much better pair with the patty as compared to sauce no. 4.
8 cuts have the best onion rings ever! I always loved onion rings and they have the taste to crave for every minute.
I already ate here twice and I can say that the burger is really good despite of the "not so big serving". But I can say that its all worth it.
The fries is a little expensive when you compare it with the quantity. It taste normal criss cross cut fries with cheese and bacon on top of it.
I just found the best burger house in town. I'm not really a fan of hamburger but I was really curious to try 8 Cuts in UP Town. Thank God because this place never disappointed me. I had the flavorful Piggy burger and also the skinny fries which I really loved! Will try other burgers when I get back.
Their seasoning was not evenly distributed. Some parts are really salty. If they were evenly distributed, they would be really good. The onion rings and fries are good, too.
Burger bar really did a good job creating 8 cuts. They have the nicest food servers. This particular branch also has nicest interiors. Of course you wouldn't leave without trying their really juicy burgers paired with onion rings. They let you customize your burger to your liking.
By far my favorite burger place in Manila. Keep it up!
8 cuts eastwood burger bars little brother. 8 Cuts holds the impeccable standards of service that the Moment Group adheres to. Though 8 Cuts isn't really anything fancy, the attendants are always courteous and attentive, and always willing to give suggestions on what they believe would make your 8 Cuts experience a memorable one 😊
The food was great, kind of paid more than what i asked for (although i expected it to be a lot bigger in terms of size..) a bit slow in service BUT great burger
There are times where your body is just looking for GREASE. And this is the place to go to satisfy these cravings.
AMBIANCE: The place looks good but a little but on the dim side of lighting.
SERVICE: The waiters were courteous and service was fast.
PRICES: If you're willing to spend around 300 per burger then you might find this place affordable but, if you're on a tight budget, I think there are more restaurants that are much cheaper yet quality is not discarded.
FOOD: My friends and I ordered the Piggy and Rising Shroom and a side of onion rings. The onion rings were DELICIOUS. The serving was very generous and the rings itself were large. It was very flavourful. Having tried the Piggy before, I can say that meat lovers will love it. I mean how can Bacon and Burger not go together, right?? The rising shroom on the other hand was okay. It kinda lacked flavor but because 8 cuts' patties were delicious, it sort of compensated for what lacked in flavor.
Overall I will give 8 cuts a 3.5 because If given a choice, I'd rather eat in a cheaper butger restaurant that I know and love. But still, 8 cuts is a good and must-try restaurant. If there's one thing that will make me come back here, it's their Onion Rings. 😀

Burger itself is good and juicy but I find the burger expensive for what is offered. Side dishes like onion rings and truffle Parmesan fries are good. Shrooms burgers my favorite!
Their burgers are very tasty (although oily) it is really masarap. Not to forget the chocolate molten bottoms, their version of lava cake. The best!

8 cuts burger blends is another concept resto from the Moment group. They serve freshly blended, choice cut meats prior to sending them off the hot griddle. This is a very straightforward burger joint. Serving you perfectly seasoned and juicy monsters that you can customize depending on how you like your burger. I personally prefer my burger juicy and big. That may sound wrong but do try the double patty piggy burger with sauteed fresh mushrooms and extra yellow cheddar. It's definitely worth it! Forget about the calories and just devour the entire thing. Also they serve perfectly batttered onion rings. There, enjoy!
My Bestfriend and I celebrated her 18th birthday here at 8 cuts buger in UP town Center the ambiance of this place was very nice beacuse it was so calm and relax. There burger was very flavorful and can satisfy your cravings. 😄 and the crew was very nice to their customers 😄
Just went there a few days ago. It was my first time eating there so I got shocked by their prices. Anyway, the burgers have the right to be pricey for their delicious and outstanding taste.
Their service is great! Very friendly and caring! I say caring because of an incident.
I spilled my drink and broke their glass. I got cut on my left ring finger and the manager, Dan, came and offered to clean my wound (which i refused because I'm afraid of alcohol) so instead, he put bandaid on my finger and gave me an extra one for me to take home. He even apologized for what happened and gave me a free onion rings voucher! They have such a nice staff! Kudos! I hope they keep it up! 😀 oh and the food is soo good! 😀 their lamb burger is fantastic!
What I like about this burger place is that they serve burgers that are not dry. The other food in the menu is good as well. No complains about the staff and the place, uhm, maybe they just have to improve the airconditioning system. Thumbs up!
Craving for Burgers in the Katipunan-Diliman area? Well, 8 Cuts Burger Blends is definitely your best bet at satisfying that burger craving. The aura of the place was perfect for the food they serve, and their staff were friendly and accommodating.
We ordered five different burgers and loved them all. Their burgers were full of flavor, very juicy but may be greasy at times. The great thing about 8 cuts was that you can customize your burger if you want specific toppings, or if you want to be safe you can choose from their line of suggested burgers with the combination of toppings sure to blend perfectly. In addition, they had various choices of beef cuts (so sinful but goooood, plus they have an open kitchen so you can watch your beef patty being made from various kinds of meat) and they were very generous with the toppings they put so that one burger is sure to leave you full! Their fries were unique, the thin crispy ones. We also ordered their Speculoos milkshake (which you can ask to be split for two people like we did in the photo), and a chocolate milkshake.
Definitely try 8 Cuts, it's worth your cheat day!
Their 1/3 lb and 1/4 lb burger only have a minimal difference when it comes to size. For its price, it should come with drinks (and fries) but it only goes for ala carte only. As for my order which is the Four Cheese Burger, I can't honestly tell if there's really four cheese in there. Nevertheless, their patty was legit which is the only thing I loved about their burger.
Decent burgers and nice, thick milkshakes (salted caramel milkshake is a must-try). Prices are a bit too high since I know of many other equally delicious burger joints with much lower prices. Overall: just OK.
Had the Panchito for lunch. It was very flavorful & not too spicy considering the sriracha mayo. Service was good but the place was a bit too warm today.
Appetizing oily burgers. I ordered the flavorful Hangover which had cheddar, crisp prosciutto, fried egg, and sweetly spiced BBQ sauce. M ordered the Piggy which was a quarter-pounder Beef Bomb Blend patty of the chuck and short rib with mozzarella, fried bacon strips, house-made bacon jam, lollo rossa, tomatoes, and garlic aioli all on a Sesame Seed Bun. Yes the burgers are really delicious, though the whole time I was eating mine, all I could think of was that it was soooo oily! Some may think that is okay, but for me, I'd rather be able to eat my burger without the drip.
Spent Php500 for a 1/4 lb burger and a waffle cut fries with bacons and cheese. Not that really bad, since the place is too cozy and the ambience is really good. Plus the good customer service of the crews.
I love the beef patty because it is thick and juicy, and of course, delicious too. I just don't liked the way they cooked the bacon because for me it doesn't taste like a bacon. On the other hand, the fries we ordered was good, and really satisfying.
Wasn't able to order drinks because we already ordered some milkshake from Rita's. But I will definitely comeback because I wanna try their Speculoos Cookie Butter Smoothie. Sounds really interesting, right.
Their service was great. I love the ambiance and how they designed the restaurant. Yummy burgers plus booze! But I think it would be worth it if they had bigger burgers.
When it comes to food I like having choices and options; 8 Cuts has that.
The brand itself is a witty way to showcase their unique value offering you 8 various meat cut options to suit your taste.
When craving for a good, fat, juicy burger, that doesn't taste like grease or re-used oil 8 Cuts should definitely be the choice. They have hefty meat servings that are seasoned right, enough to bring out the (sinfully good) meaty flavor burger patties should have.
For sides, ONION RINGS ARE THE BOMB! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. THE BEST I EVER HAD! (Sorry Burger King)
Definitely coming back!

Loveloveloved the Nuteloos (Nutella plus Speculoos cookie butter) milkshake!! Their food is pretty good, the variety of choices made it difficult to choose cos you just wanna order everything.
Their burger patties are incredibly flavorful. Big servings. Square cut fries are yummy! Price is okay. My boyfriend and I think the service was also good.
We were all craving for Burger and 8 cuts satisfied us so well. I ordered four cheese, and the burger deserves its name! It was so cheesy haha ???? Anyway the burger patty was meaty and since I dont like veggies or leaves on my food Four Cheese was really a great choice for me. You can make or customize your own burger with their 'The Boss Burger' And also they really have big onion rings. ????
if you are looking for affordable yet super delicious burgers, you should try this one! i tried their cheeseburger while my husband tried their boss and blends option, using the sesame bun with house blend beef. soooo malinamnam ???? i also tried their salted caramel milkshake. but its too sweet for me. the ambiance and their creative touch inside the resto is a plus. a must try!

It was a bit small and crowded, it looks like an old diner but I liked that you can play any song that you like on their loud speakers there's an instruction on the table how to do it. Cool!

Shared my food with my friend
Piggy Burger (P245)
The beef bomb blend
Beef patty with bacon and veggies
I liked this one! The patty was not oily, the bacon was crispy and the buns itself was also delicious
Shrimp & Tomato Alfredo Pasta (P265)
I was surprised that this was good, i thought that it would be a bit sour but it wasn't, it was on the sweet side hehe
Service: *
He was attentive while getting our orders but when the food came :( our burger was cut in half, we told him not to cut it so that it would look good in the pic!
i am not a burger type of person. Thus i will not give an opinion to the burger. but please try their ONION RINGS! It's awesome!!! ????❤️????????????
Excellent place to satisfy your cravings! The onion rings are good tasting and good enough for sharing. Will be definitely back to try the other burger patties.
Lots and lots of newly opened restos these days have this industrial look and 8 Cuts Burger Blends is no different - unpainted and unpolished walls, sleek tables and chairs and high-ceiling which reveals the wirings and the tubes. But that only adds to the coolness of it. It was a busy night at 8 Cuts and we managed to get a table for 2, pronto!

Their menu was awesome! Felt like I was flipping a magazine which instead of gossips, it was their food that's listed in there! We upgraded our burgers that go with the fries and choice of milkshakes. It was those days where I was addicted to salted caramel (be it a shake, ice cream, anything!!) so I went crazy when I learned that they are offering such! It was such a battle on what to order between Salted Caramel and Nutella (oh, life's choices!), and good thing my bestfriend agreed to get the latter so I can take try it, too! Thank God for bestfriends, hihi. Without further ado, let's get into their burgers. I ordered the burger with bacon (Piggy) and it was H-E-A-V-E-N! I like their bread because they toast it.I don't mind eating a medium-rare steak, it was my preference actually, and it my patty was kind of medium-rare, too. It's unusual but again, I didn't mind. It was pretty much cooked on the outside but sort of tender and juicy on the inside. If you have any preference with your patty, just the staff about it and I'm sure they will accommodate your request. The fries was so-so, no flavors just salt. I was glad with my shake, I was the happiest kid on the block!
I forgot how much we spent, roughly more than P1000 for 2.
The next time that I'll be at UP Town Centre again, I'll get ready for round two.
JUMP UP & TOWN!
An Instant UP Town Center Food Trip Part 1
I was late for my barkada's get together after Che's birthday celebration at Cribs. We chose to bond at UP Town Center. It was a cool place to hang out. Full of the young and hip crowd plus a three storey Cotton On store is an easy invite to everyone.
I came in hungry and they were already done eating early dinner at Ba Noi's. I was craving for burgers so they accompanied me in 8 Cuts. It was my first time there and all those good reviews excite me to try out their menu. My friend suggested Four Cheese and I instantly agreed since I love cheese. I also ordered Chocolate Milkshake for instant dessert. My friends tried their Skinny Fries. Che added another Skinny Fries order but she "pimped" it with the Sub-Atomic Bacon and Cheese as add-ons.
I was surprised on how small their burger was. It was not what I expected. Burger King's are way larger than theirs. But the good thing is you can't compare the taste of their burger. That's why they call it burger blends because they blend their burgers with other meats which arouse tastier patties. Slow clap. Fries were just OK.
The place was very "pogi" for me if you know what I mean. The look was very boyish with its black motif. Will definitely go back here! What are other good burger joints can you suggest? I'm thinking of Zark's and the Burger Avenue.
I've had a lot of burgers in my life, but I must say that they have the best burger that I have ever tasted,
I paired it up with buffallo wings which they served with sour cream while my girlfriend matched her burger with a milkshake. Location and service was great. Price was alright for a working couple. Great experience! Id rate it 4 stars!
Their burger is really good. And their milkshakes as well! I'm a milkshake lover, and i must say, really delicious!! I usually recommend this to my friends since i really enjoyed their food.
Just to had variety, I had their Blue burger, I prefer the Four Cheese though. I know, blue cheese has a distinct taste, but I would prefer it on salads than in a burger. Pasaway kasi. :)
8 Cuts is famous for their blends. Meaning, a patty is made up of two or more kinds of meat. They have a good array in their classic and tribute burgers and what I tried is the Four Cheese. My friends ordered Bleu and Piggy. Although their prices are a bit costly, their burgers are really tasty and juicy. I guess we were just expecting a bigger serving.
Good burger!!! Good ambience!! Going back for more!! ????????

Richie and I had a little adventure in UP Town Center to try out 8 Cuts Burger Blends. 8 Cuts is the sister restaurant of Burger Bar but to this day I still don’t know why they used a different name. The name stands for the 8 cuts of beef they use in their different burger patties; chuck, rib eye, short rib, sirloin, brisket, hanger, flank and ox tail. The store is located at the 2nd floor, facing the future open area.
The store facade is nice with lots of big glass panes, on one side you can see the seating area and the open kitchen on the other side. The place has a got a college hangout vibe with the industrial ceiling and splashes of color all over.
The main draw of 8 Cuts aside from the 8 different cuts of beef it uses is that they grind and make the patties on site. You can see each step of the process from 100% pure US beef to the finished burger on your table.
Kids and even adults should get a kick from the burger patty making process but ultimately its the finished product that’s important. 8 Cuts Burger Blends served some really delicious burgers.
Each balled of ground beef is pressed into a plastic mold and the popped by hand so no two patties are exactly the same. Next station is where they cook the hand pressed patties. This is where they finally combine all the ingredients to make the burger of your choice.
If you eat burgers, you of course have to have some fries. We got some Skin-on steak fries (P55) then we pimped it up with Bacon Jam and Fried Egg (P70). This was messy to eat after we broke the egg yolk but it was so worth getting your hands dirty. It was here that I finally appreciated the bacon jam, it gave the fries a sweet, meaty and smoky dimension. We also got a Truffle Parmesan (P100) Skinny Fries (P45) but it was a bit lacking in flavor.
Irene does not like Onion Rings (P65) so I usually skip this, good thing my eating partner that night was a fan. The onion rings are dusted with barbecue powder so no toppings are needed. The batter is crunchy and the barbecue powder seasons it well.
We also ordered a couple of shakes, Salted Caramel (P150/12oz.) and Speculoos Cookie Butter (P220/12 oz.) for Richie. I loved my milkshakes but in hindsight we should have stuck to water or soda because we were way too full at the end.
Richie and I decided to share 3 burgers that we’ve never had at Burger Bar before.
The first to arrive was the Coney (P255) which uses the Big Game Blend (hanger and brisket). It has cheddar, tomatoes, coney chili and cheese sauce, crushed nachos and chopped jalapenos. I loved the nice spicy kick that the toppings add although they tend to overpower the patty’s flavor. I wished there were more crushed nachos since they added a nice textural element to the burger.
Next up was the Q Daddy (P295) makes use of the new OX Blend patty (flank, rib eye and ox tail). It is topped with bacon and onion strips, cheddar, lettuce, tomato and finished off with drizzles of jalapeno ranch and sweet spiced barbecue sauce. I loved the flavor of the ox tail in the patty, it added a a stronger beef taste but the abundant toppings were not really to my taste except for the bacon. Next time around I’ll just have the ox blend patty as is to enjoy the full flavors.
The last burger we had was the Franch (P295) which uses the same Ox blend as the Q Daddy. It just uses a brioche bun instead of the sesame bun and has gruyere, caramelized onions, ranch dressing, pickles, tomatoes and potato chips. I was not too fond of the potato chip element although it served the same purpose as the nachos in the Coney.
Kids and even adults should get a kick from the burger patty making process but ultimately its the finished product that’s important. 8 Cuts Burger Blends served some really delicious burgers. UP Town Center is a bit of a ways away especially with the dreaded Katipunan traffic but good thing 8 Cuts recently opened in SM Megamall’s Fashion Mall so I’m so near if I’m looking for some Coney.
I like the it when a restaurant's kitchen is open. The customers can see how thr food is being made. They have a perfect menu of gourmet burgers and you can even mix and match. I ordered piggy burger, skinny fries topped with bbq, jalapeno with mozzarella and a chocolate milkshake. Everything was delicious! The burger was greasy tho.
